The aftermath of the war between the Na'vi and the RDA was a somber and devastating sight to look at. The once peaceful and serene landscape of your home was now just as scarred and disturbed as your own mind. When you looked at the scorched earth underneath, and the sorrowful faces around you, your thoughts involuntarily raced back to Tsuâtey. Guilt consumed you for allowing yourself to care about him at a time like this, for recalling the night you had shared with him in the clearing, when you had offered him a piece of you, expecting nothing in return. And yet, despite Tsuâteyâs cautious words, deeper in your heart there was still a longing for more.Â
Tsuâtey made it clear that his heart would always belong solely to Silwanin, his true and only love. And as you watched him suffer through the endless loss and heartache, you came to a painful realization that there would be no place for you in his life. He had become so hardened to reality, that he no longer cared for his own happiness, the duty of protecting his people becoming the only will to live. That night, when he became aware of your feelings for him, he pitied you for choosing to love someone as damaged as he was.
Watching the clan rebuild and heal from the wounds inflicted by the war, you were convinced to follow the same route. Instead of dwelling on the aftermath, you had approached Moâat to join the other healers, as soon as the clan returned back into the forest. For the first few days, as warriors brought back injured Naâvi, you followed Moâat, assisting her in treating the wounded. You silently prayed to Eywa that Tsuâtey wouldnât be among the wounded, or even worse.
It was on the fourth day that you finally saw him. When Tsuâtey stepped into the healing tent, close to midnight, his eyes widened at the sight of you. He clearly did not expect to find you there instead of Moâat. Your gaze traveled from his face to his left arm, predicting that he had suffered a broken bone. It was wrapped tightly in big dried leaves that mimicked the shape of his muscles and fixed his elbow in a flexed position. Flat pieces of wood were pressed alongside his bones, tied with smaller strings around his skin. Another thicker string supported his arm in the air, going around his neck.
For a moment, the broken arm offered you a momentary distraction from Tsuâtey's piercing gaze, but the knots in your stomach tightened nonetheless. The tension left from that night still lingered uncomfortably between you.
âY/N,â he cleared his throat, âIs Tsahik out?â
âShe is keeping watch over Atwäm tonight, heâs gotten worse,â you answered with a heavy sigh, recalling the said warriorâs severe state. Mo'at had predicted that the end of his suffering was drawing near. âWhat happened to your arm?â
âNothing, I got thrown off my ikran and landed on my arm,â Tsuâtey shrugged his shoulders dismissively, âMoâat told me sheâd change my dressing, but Iâll come back when sheâs here.â
âNo need, I can help,â you said softly, earning his surprised look.
âDo you know how?â
âYes. Sit.â
Without waiting for his response, you turned your back to Tsuâtey and began carefully selecting the supplies needed for his treatment. Refreshing his cast didn't make you nervous since you had already assisted Mo'at with a similar task just the day before. Moreover, it was surprising that you were able to maintain your composure around him, even though the last time you saw him, you were almost choking on his member. That vulgar image left emptiness inside you.
Tsuâtey hesitated for a moment before slowly lowering himself to the ground, watching you move around with ease, like a fish in the water. He felt a ping of guilt for not knowing this about you, truthfully, he had no idea that you were even interested in healing, let alone that you have been helping out the other healers for the past few days.Â
When you returned to him with the supplies, you took a seat beside him, quietly beginning to untie the string holding up his arm. You instructed him to keep it in the same position for you, and Tsuâtey obeyed, trying his best not to move. Your hands worked with precision and care, peeling away the dry leaves, and the flat pieces of wood that you put aside to reuse. You could feel Tsu'teyâs eyes on you the entire time, sensing that he had something to say but was holding back.
âI am sorry that I havenât spoken to you since the duel,â his voice was hoarse. You shifted uncomfortably, trying your best to concentrate on your work.Â
âYou donât have to apologize. There was a battle far more important.â
âStill, I can accept it if you think of me as an unreputable man because of what I did. But I do not wish for you to believe that I avoided you on purpose.â
âI donât think either of those things about you, Tsuâtey,â you finally looked up at him, âWould you consider me an unreputable woman?â
He shook his head, validating some of the doubts in your head. If anyone found out about the intimacy you shared with another man without mating before Eywa, it could have stumped your chances of mating with anybody else. Of course, bonds were sometimes made and broken by the guidance of the Great Mother, but you did not think about it. Frankly, you werenât sure if you could give yourself to anyone else but Tsuâtey, even if Eywa had surrounded you with signs. It was something you figured out a long time ago, ever since Tsuâtey had mated with Silwanin and you knew that you didnât stand a chance, yet your heart still yearned for him. No amount of attention and courting you received made your heart flutter the way it did when his eyes would land on you even for a second. You had gotten used to the idea of either ending up with someone you did not love, or remaining alone and dedicating yourself to your studies.
âI feel like I betrayed you,â he shook his head, unable to express the depth of his guilt.Â
âWhy?â you frowned in confusion.
âI promised to always protect you when we were kids. And then I took something from you, and you canât get it back.â
A lump of shame gathered in your throat, making it harder to breathe. Did he really think you were broken now because of what happened between you two?
âI do not regret it,â you lifted your chin up, âI would rather give a part of myself to a man I love, rather than give nothing to anyone.âÂ
Love. Tsuâteyâs heart clenched at the obvious nature of your feelings for him. He hated himself for not being able to reciprocate your love, for torturing you.
âI gathered the leaves this morning, so your bandage should last longer,â you commented, diverting the conversation.
As you applied the sticky paste, followed by a clump of leaves, you pressed them firmly onto his skin, shaping it like a protective armor. He hummed, trusting your words, as you worked in silence. When you leaned in closer to reach the tie over his neck, his breath ghosted over your skin, and your heart raced in your chest. Tsuâteyâs hand instinctively reached out to support you by your waist, and you cursed inwardly at the rush of sensation that flooded your body.
Despite the awkwardness and discomfort both of you felt, your thoughts still drifted back to the night when you heard him whimper under the touch of your lips. The way his skin shuddered, when you pressed wet kisses against it, feeling just as nervous and excited to hear his satisfied moans. With trembling hands, you quickly tied the string into a tight knot around his arm, before pulling away, desperate to put some distance between you.
âThank you.â
âYou need to come back for a new bandage, once the leaves dry out.â
âAgain?â Tsuâtey frowned, clearly dissatisfied with your instructions.
âAs many times as it takes until the bone heals fully.â
âI hate this,â he huffed, âIt is itchy and uncomfortable. I cannot fight like this.â
âFight? The battle is over, Tsuâtey,â you rolled your eyes at him, âEywa must forgive you for your ungratefulness. The worst of your worries is the itch on your skin that you cannot tend to, instead of losing an arm like Tsay'ä.â
Tsuâteyâs eyes narrowed at your remark, recognizing that sassy tone you used to reserve for Neytiri during your playful arguments. You had rarely used it with him, always contained and reserved, whenever he was around. Tsuâtey realized how different you seemed now, no longer a kid who needed his protection. There used to be a time before Silwaninâs death, when he would see you almost every day, given that you were inseparable from Neytiri. He wondered how much he had missed out on in the past few years, since you werenât hanging around them anymore. He felt a pang of guilt for not noticing you slowly drifting away from your group.
As you gathered to stand up, Tsuâtey reached for your wrist, pulling you to a stop. You peered down at him confused.Â
âWhat?â
âWhat are you doing tomorrow morning?â he asked with a slight excitement evident in his voice.Â
âResting before Mo'at's ceremony,â you answered, frowning at his sudden interest in your plans.
The past few days had been a whirlwind for the clan. But now, as the work began to taper off, you were preparing for the grieving ceremony. The final battle with the Sky People had been devastating, and many families in the clan had lost their sons and daughters. And while their bodies had already been given to Eywa, Moâat decided to hold a final ceremony to pray for the lost souls before the Mother Tree.
âCould you help me with something before that?â Tsuâtey asked.
âSure,â you nodded.
Tsu'tey felt a twinge of surprise at how readily you agreed without asking for a reason. You barely needed one, your heart would follow Tsuâtey wherever he wanted it to. He released your wrist, and quietly slipped out of the tent.
︾âżď¸ľâżď¸ľâżď¸ľ
You walked past the Well of Souls, eyes catching a sight of the softly glowing Mother Tree, where the ceremony would take place later. The aftermath of the battle still lingered in the air, and you struggled to focus on Tsuâteyâs back instead. He walked in front of you, occasionally glancing back to ensure you were keeping up. As he pushed through thick bushes, you heard strange noises from the depths of the rainforest.
âWhat is that?â you asked, but Tsuâtey only threw a soft smile over his shoulder, like there was nothing to be scared of.
When he came to a stop, you saw it: a big, armored head peeked out from behind the tall bushes. Your heart skipped a beat, as you recognized the creature as a palulukan, piercing through you with its green eyes. You stepped back in fear, as the palulukan revealed itself, coming into your full view. Judging by the size, it was still a youngling, no older than a few days. Still, it was quite large and could easily harm both you and Tsuâtey.
âDonât be scared, it is still a baby,â Tsuâtey said, holding up his palm. The palulukan cautiously and slowly moved towards him.
âTsuâtey, do you have a death wish?â you gritted through your teeth, taking a few careful steps back.
âItâs alright, it wonât harm you,â he said calmly.Â
He remained unhinged when the palulukan nuzzled its head into his palm. You froze, watching in awe, as Tsuâtey continued petting the animal. The fearsome palulukan became gentler under his touch, tail swishing from side to side. Tsuâtey turned his face to you and chuckled at your expression.
âCome closer, Y/N.â
âHave you lost your mind?â your voice trembled with fear.
It was a rare sight to see a Naâvi man get along with a palulukan. Although you knew of a clan that was skilled at taming the creatures, amongst your own, the Omatikaya, surviving an interaction with a palulukan was considered a blessing from Eywa.Â
âYou said you would help,â Tsuâtey reminded you, his voice firm.
He lowered his palm and turned to face you, his eyes fixed on yours. The trust he had in the cub was palpable, but your panic continued to rise, eyes jumping between him and the palulukan.Â
âWhy do you need my help?â you swallowed hard.
âShe limps,â Tsuâtey answered, nodding towards the cub.
âWe shouldnât intervene with the laws of Eywa. Where is the mother?â you asked, your voice tinged with concern.
âThe mother was probably killed. The cub was all alone when I found it,â Tsuâtey explained, âI felt too ashamed to burden the other healers when they were busy helping our people. So, I tried moving her back to the valley, where she belongs, but like I said, she canât walk far because of her paw.â
You threw another glance at the palulukan, who seemed to pay you no mind, lazily swishing its tail from side to side. Your mind calmed slightly, feeling a little sorry for the cub. You took a hesitant step forward.
âSomething with the back paw. Iâm not very helpful with all this,â Tsuâtey gestured to his broken arm.
You took a deep breath, steeling yourself, before approaching the animal. With a steady hand, Tsuâtey petted the cub, coaxing it into a sitting position, so that you felt less intimidated. You prayed to Eywa to keep you safe as you reached for the injured paw, finding a small piece of demon-metal lodged between its toes. You pulled it slightly, causing the palulukan let out a screech. But Tsuâtey somehow managed to calm her down.
âIt canât stay here any longer,â you threw a quick glance at Tsuâtey, pulling the metal piece as quickly and carefully as you could, âIt's too close to the Mother Tree, and there is a ceremony soon.â
âDo not worry, I will lure it to the valley,â Tsuâtey replied, still patting the cub on its head.
âNot in that state, you canât go alone,â you protested, nodding to his injured arm. âI will come with you.â
Tsuâtey let out a low growl of annoyance, partly at your stubbornness and partly at his own injury. He decided to remain silent and watched as you finally removed the metal chip. The palulukan let out another screech, wiggling its paw out of your hands and bringing it to his snout to lick the wound. Tsuâtey stepped back, observing the animal with a small smile, and you found yourself smiling at Tsuâtey.
You could never stop loving him. Even if you tried, Tsuâtey would always find a way back into your heart. Of course, only he would manage to handle a palulukan without getting eaten alive. You shook your head in disbelief of the man in front of you.
The palulukan stood up with a low growl, sniffing your feet before raising its snout toward your face. You froze, afraid that it might attack you for causing it pain, but the creature only studied you briefly with its big green eyes. You slowly extended your hand to the cub, before taking a step towards the valley. To your surprise, the cub climbed up, limping on its paw, and following you as you started to walk. Some time later, along with Tsuâtey, you led it towards the valley, letting it wander off at the outskirts.
︾âżď¸ľâżď¸ľâżď¸ľ
As the two of you began your walk back home, you felt a rush of joy spreading through you.
âI thank Eywa for letting me pet a palulukan without getting eaten alive,â you grinned at Tsuâtey.
His ears perked up at your satisfied expression but he pretended to be annoyed with you.
âI wouldnât have let you near it if there was a chance of getting eaten.â
âBut still, Tsuâtey,â you stopped in your tracks, taking his hand in yours, âEywa has blessed you. You made a friend out of a palulukan. Not many get to say that.â
Tsuâtey looked down at your hands, feeling a ping of excitement at the contact. Since that night in the clearing, he often found himself yearning for your touch and the solace it brought him. And he despised himself for it.Â
Tsuâtey mumbled a thanks and squeezed your hand in his, his eyes lingering on yours for longer than necessary. Your heart raced, and something uglier began to spread in the pit of your stomach. You had been consumed by lustful thoughts of him, yet you couldn't admit it to yourself. All you craved was confirmation that he had felt it too.
Like in some sort of trance, you lifted yourself up on your toes, drawn towards Tsuâtey's face. Your hand rested gently on his chest, careful to avoid the bandaged arm. You expected him to pull away, to reject your advances, but instead he watched you with a heated gaze. Tsuâtey knew that it was wrong to give into the temptation, that the aftermath wouldnât be worth it, but he just needed to taste your lips.Â
Scared to your core, you tested the waters first by tentatively nuzzling your nose against his cheek. Tsuâtey released your hand out of his, but instead of pushing you away, he cupped your face roughly, pulling you into a kiss. His hunger to taste you consumed you, and you almost grew dizzy from the intensity of his lips.
As your lips parted, Tsuâtey pulled away, his eyes closed, breathing ragged. You tried to speak, to say something, anything, but your voice caught in your throat. You both stood there, silent, for what felt like an eternity until he spoke.
âI shouldnât have done that,â he said, his voice low, âIâm sorry.â
âYou did nothing wrong, Tsuâtey,â you whispered, staring into his eyes.
He was distraught but his hand was still gently caressing your cheek. In his eyes, you could see an internal struggle: his mind was telling him to stop, but his body was craving more.Â
His eyes widened before closing in a relaxing manner when you crashed your lips against his again. You were eager to satisfy your hunger for him, like an annoying itch that needed to be scratched.
Tsuâteyâs hand pulled you close by the nape of your neck, signaling you to keep going. Your stomach turned in a pleasant pain, when he groaned into your mouth. A few sloppy kisses were exchanged before you were pushing him back into a tree.
Tsu'tey couldn't resist you any longer, the passion that had been building up inside him finally erupting as he kissed you with all the desire he had been trying to suppress. His free hand roamed over your body, pulling you into him, not caring about the pain he felt in his injured arm.
But as the intensity of the moment grew, so did the guilt that Tsu'tey felt. He knew that what he was doing was wrong, that he could never give you more than this, no matter how much he wanted to.
âY/N,â he pulled away, breathless, âI canât do this to you.â
âItâs okay,â your voice hitched, his pitiful gaze on you, âIâm okay.â
Tsuâtey pursed his lips, his eyes slowly tracing your features. He had never before noticed the intricate pattern of stripes on your forehead, which formed a unique shape right in the center. Â He had never paid attention to the way your freckles glowed like stars in the night sky, something he had always loved to admire before drifting off to sleep. And the way your eyes glistened with a threat of tears, as you feared rejection.
âPlease,â you pleaded with him, âDonât pity me.â
He took a deep breath and let it out before slowly leaning into you. Your heart raced, as he nuzzled into your neck, his eyes shutting in surrender. Tsuâtey then pressed a soft kiss to the crook of your neck, hand grazing your back. Your heat felt uncomfortably abandoned under his touch, and you pressed your thighs together, attempting to get some sense of relief. The movement caught Tsuâteyâs attention, and he frowned, pulling away to observe you. But it wasnât long till you distracted him with another kiss, scared of him changing his mind.
The sharp pain reminded him of his injury the second he tried to reach for you with his left arm. Tsuâtey suddenly realized that despite the lust he felt, he was too weak, too restricted to give in fully. So, when your hands reached for his loincloth, he swatted them away, gently pushing you off.Â
âWhatâs wrong?â you asked softly.
âI want to take care of you,â he admitted, his hand finding its way to your waist. It was his turn to make you feel good.
It was embarrassing how effortlessly Tsuâtey made you forget to breathe. He played a game of cat and mouse with you, giving in one moment and then changing his mind the next. But you desired him so intensely that you simply nodded, letting him turn you around and lower you on the ground. You didn't resist as Tsuâtey settled in behind you, his back pressed against the tree.
âSit here,â he ordered, pointing to the spot between his legs.
You scooched back quietly, leaning your back against him. Tsuâtey shifted slightly to adjust to his broken arm, before pressing a kiss to your temple. You relaxed, eyes closing, as his fingers gently caressed the skin under your skimpy top, grazing the already hardened nipples. Tsuâtey continued planting kisses to the side of your face, when his hand moved in between your thighs and parted them. He untied your loincloth, exposing your cunt to the cold air.Â
âTsuâtey,â your voice hitched at the anticipation of his next move.
His hand quickly left your thighs, now turning your face to him, so he could press a kiss to your lips. When your mouth opened immediately, welcoming him in, you felt his finger pushed down on your button. Tsuâtey caught your muffled groan into his mouth, and pressed down on you, as you tried to wiggle away from the sensation. A low growl vibrated through him as a warning before he gently glided his fingers over your slit, slowly massaging your folds. His palm brushed over your sensitive bundle of nerves, forcing a low moan out of you. Tsuâtey felt his member harden at the sound, almost in disbelief at how sensitive you were to his touch.
The flat of his palm circled slowly against your clit, rubbing lazily against it. You gasped his name, hips unintentionally bucking up into his touch, seeking a rhythm. But Tsuâtey enjoyed the sounds that you made a little too much to give in right away. His touch left you for a second, as he wetted his fingers and brought them back to your clit, starting to flick it. You groaned and moaned, as he kept going, occasionally switching to his palm to rub against your sensitive spot.Â
âMore,â you pleaded, choking on your own breathing.
Tsuâtey hummed, not rushing to comply with your request, as his lips found their way to your neck again, trailing wet kisses. His hand continued to tease your clit in tight circles, and you felt him smear around some of your wetness. Your moans grew louder, when Tsuâtey pressed two fingers against your bud and started stroking it from side to side, picking up a rhythm. Shivers ran down your spine, and you whined at the overwhelming feeling in your stomach but before you could give into it, his digits pulled away, teasing you down your slit.Â
You were growing impatient, desperately wanting to chase the sensation by squeezing your thighs, but Tsuâtey did not like that. He parted your thighs again, throwing his legs over yours and restricting your movements. He meddled with the idea of punishing you for moving before brushing past your swollen folds and lightly slapping them. You whined at the sudden ache, and Tsuâtey had to stifle a chuckle at your reaction. He felt an urge to slap your heat harder this time, to force a louder yelp. By the sound of your painful cry, he knew he had succeeded, when he raised his hand higher and slapped against your folds with more force. A mixture of pain and pleasure started to blur your vision, as Tsuâtey slapped your heat over and over again, making your body convulse. You were panting heavily, when he stopped, and his finger teased your entrance before slipping in, not giving you time to adjust. Your eyes widened at the sensation, and he pushed it further into your tight walls, all the way to the last knuckle.
âTsuâtey,â you exhaled in a slight discomfort. You had never felt anything inside you like that.
ââS okay, relax, syulangâ he said with a husky voice.
Tsuâtey moved his finger, making you clench around him. But it was too tight, so much that he couldnât help but groan at the sensation, wondering what it would feel like to have you around his penis instead. He pulled his finger out, palm rubbing against your nub, before slipping it back into your hole and pushing as far as he could. You started to whimper, your walls clamping down on him, as Tsuâtey slowly thrusted his digit in and out of you, accompanied by squelching sounds.
You tried to tell him that it was getting too much but your words came out in a sloppy jumble instead, making no sense. Tsuâtey picked up on a faster rhythm with quick sloppy motions, filling the air around you with a mixture of wet squelching sounds and your panting. He was running short of our breath too, violently thrusting his finger into you a few more times, before pulling it out.
âPleaseâŚdonât stop,â you whined at the absence of his touch, buckling back. You pressed your bottom into his crotch, as if pleading him to continue.Â
âDonât-donât do that, sweetheart,â Tsuâtey breathed out heavily.
You struggled to fight the fuzziness in your mind, as you suddenly felt the need to check on him. You turned to look at him through your hooded lids.
âDid I hurt you?â
Tsuâtey shook his head with a low chuckle. He couldnât contain his amusement at the fact that you were checking on him. It was an unexpected situation anyway, but even stranger, considering that it happened in the middle of such intimate act. He suddenly felt the need to reward you for your worrying.
As you held his gaze, searching for a sign of pain, Tsuâtey caught your lips with his, hungrily sucking and pulling at your bottom lip. Your mind got clouded with the hotness of his skin, which was exactly how Tsuâtey distracted you again. His hand caressed your thighs and sneaked back to your clit, beginning to draw tight circles around it. He enjoyed the way you bucked your hips up into his touch, chasing that sweet taste of pleasure.
As you buckled up again, Tsuâtey rubbed your swollen bud with a force, then picked up on a steady rhythm. It wasnât long till you felt the tension building up in your pit again, and you pressed the side of your face into his chest, feeling hot in your cheeks. His fingers were expertly fiddling with your nub, his motions speeding up. Small whimpers were escaping from your mouth, and Tsuâtey couldnât help but groan at the sight of you nearing your release. His penis was pulsating, as he started rubbing your button more roughly.
âNeed you,â you trembled, gripping his thighs with your hand.
Your hips were jerking out of control, chasing that feeling building inside you, your body tensing up, with in a sharp intake of air. The painful tension broke down into a wave of pleasure, spreading from your heat to the knots in your fingers and toes.Â
You held your breath, squeezing your eyes shut at the immense sensation. Tsuâtey exhaled behind you, feeling the way you shivered underneath his touch. He rubbed your oversensitive clit again, pushing you over the edge, and you whined, squirming under him. It was too overwhelming, almost painful. You tried to squeeze your thighs, your hole clenching and pulsing around nothing, juice flowing out of it like a nectar.
âStop, TsuâteyâŚstop,â you gasped, as he slowed his motions on your sensitive spot.
Your hand swatted at his, and Tsuâtey chuckled before finally pulling it away. Your chest sank in big heavy pants, and his lips were on you again, hand caressing the soft skin of your tummy, and moving up to your chest. You breathed heavily, when he squeezed your breast in his palm, a satisfied smirk finding a way to your lips. When he kissed the side of your face again, you turned your face to capture his lips. Tsuâtey hummed in satisfaction.
âI need you to-â you pulled away from him, still a little breathless, âI need you to relax too.â
You wiggled your legs from underneath his, and shifted to sit sideways. Before your hands could even reach for the ties of his loincloth, Tsuâtey stopped you.
âNot now,â he shook his head.
âThen when?â you raised your eyebrows, âWhen youâre healed?â
He chuckled at your desperation. Tsuâtey couldnât deny or hide his arousal from you but it was amusing to watch you figure out the reason for his rejection.
âMaybe.â
You let out a small sigh, your lips settling into a contented smile. But as you remembered the upcoming ceremony, you quickly rose to your feet, hastily tying your loincloth. Tsuâtey watched you shamelessly, feeling at ease with the knowledge that you now had a piece of him too. Even if it wasnât going to be permanent.Â
âWe should head back now to make it in time for the ceremony,â you mumbled, âI promised to help.â
Tsuâtey nodded, standing up too. But there was something different about it when he met your gaze. No words were exchanged as he followed your lead, back into the cove. You couldnât shake off the feeling that this wasnât the end yet.

I am done with this show.
I came into season 2 with hope and excitement. Season 1 ended so shockingly, and I was curious how it would play out in the next season with all these complex characters. Would Rhaenyra finally become the book Rhaenyra who fought her brother and kin for the throne? Would Aegon finally embrace his role as king? Would Aemond work with his brother to plot and defeat the blacks?
It is safe to say I was disappointed. As the show progressed, I felt my enthusiasm falter and destroy. From the top of my head, I can only remember episodes 2 and 7 living up to their expectations. Why is this? If they couldn't make a book-accurate show, they should never have thought to make one in the first place.
They've omitted characters (nettles) and ruined others. Somehow sheepstealer is in the vale?
The above picture is from Martin's blog posted this month. It is obvious that the writers think that they can do whatever they want.
Rhaenyra who was supposed to be ready for war, is suddenly against war again. Alicent, who wanted her son on the throne and hated Rhaenyra, is suddenly yearning for her. Daemon is in his "haunting of Harrenhal" era. Criston Cole, who was named Kingmaker is such a useless shit in the show. He sits around, has s*x with alicent and then sulks.
I will not say that they butchered everyone. Aemond and Aegon's writing was done nicely. Leaving the rook's rest part. That didn't make sense in many ways.
This show has just become men bad, women good. It is obvious. Aemond, Aegon, Cole, Daemon, heck- even Jace; they're all portrayed as insecure, abusive and bad.
It was jace who came up with the idea to get Targaryen bastards to claim Dragons but they made him insecure and gave his plot to Mysaria. Oh and talking about Mysaria... She was talking about her abusive father and how he r*****d her and Rhaenyra became horny and kissed her? That scene was actually suggested by Emma Darcy, Rhaenyra's actor and it shows. But the fact that the writers actually allowed it shows their naivety.
Criston was a GOATed character in the book, he was a father figure to Aegon and Aemond but he acts and looks younger than them.
Daemon is in his haunted movies era. After laena showing up in s2, I predicted we'd get Viserys all rotten up and we did.
The set is amazing, the dragons are amazing, the characters are supposed to be amazing and so is the writing, but it is not. Season 8's cinematography, music, set, everything was groundbreaking but its writing was bad. This is exactly the same.
From what I've seen so far, episodes 2 and 7 were amazing, I can't lie, episodes 1, 3 and 4 were on the average side. For episode 4, many might criticise me because it was rook's rest, but this was a huge battle that shook the ground. It was downplayed to what? 10-15 minutes? As for episodes 5 and 6, I don't even remember what happened in them, because there was nothing to remember.
Episode 7 was good indeed. I thought they finally redeemed themselves. Until episode 8 leaked. Indeed. Last time, about 2-3 episodes leaked and this time was no different. The finale leaked.
While I will not talk about it until Monday, I will say this: I, who watched season 8 twice, who is a huge a song of ice and fire fan, will most probably not watch this show from now onward.

Midnights Mayhem with Me!
Iâm going to call it, the 9/11 on the MMwM was about the buildup to the VMAâs with the intention of creating a split in the narrative.
Taylor singing âI kissed a girl and I liked itâ was for the gaylors and ending the night with thanking âmy boyfriend Travisâ was for the swifties. She held out for so long and did it on stage when all eyes were on her to create the most impact. This provides more proof on both sides with the gaylors seeing it as yet another PR move and encouraged the swifties to think theyâve won the battle.
For now weâre left with an ultimatum between track 1 with âlavender hazeâ and track 5 with âyouâre on your own kidâ. And all of this was just the test run, the finale is still yet to come. Iâm putting my money on the finale, and potentially the final show of the eras tour, being an ultimatum between Taylor Swift (Taylorâs Version) and Reputation (Taylorâs Version). đđ¤
This is a long one, but I promise itâs worth it x
MMwM recap
13 - Taylor Swift
87 - Travis Kelce
6/23 - T&T on stage
9/11 - VMAâs
1, 5, 10, 12, 4 - ?
âI put the money in the bag and I stole the keys. That was the last time you ever saw Me!â The man wall is a decoy roadmap for the swifties and the MMwM track list is the cypher for the gaylors (the missing polaroid and the woman in â¤ď¸).
The MMwM name itself seems to be a reference to how Taylor has blended queer references into her lyrics with a pattern of Men, Men, (Women), Men. Hence the McDonaldâs references. âMMM, Iâm (NOT) lovingâ itâ vs âA happy meal đđđâ
Track 9 -bejewelled
She emphasised the with part of MMwM. And the tartan print matching Taylorâs VMA outfit? đ also note 9/11 was mentioned in her acceptance speech while wearing this outfit. I cant help but think the VMAâs were always planned to be on this date and Taylor planned around it. Either way, mentioning 9/11 in one speech and Travis in the other is confirmation for both sides in one night.
Track 11- karma
Outfit matching with the giant version of Taylor in the anti hero music videos. âGood evening.â This connection to the VMAâs confirms my suspicions of where we are in the Truman show timeline, with the anti hero music video recreating the first half of the movie. Notice the applause after Truman is reunited with his father is what Taylor described in her second speech of the night.
The remaining five
The following is my prediction of whatâs still to come. Track 11 is where weâre at in terms of eras and solved clues. The last five were all released on the same day, so itâs worth considering this date and the time these ones were released.
Track 1- lavender haze
12am - Meet Me! (Taylorâs Version) at midnight. The five cats on her shirt. She said âThe tension is palpable.â and the caption says itâs âGonna be a wild ride đâ. I feel like this MMwM is leading us back to the beginning so Taylor can finally move forwards.
1+5=6
Debut đ vs reputation đ¤
âIf all you want is (track fives) for me, then itâs just white noiseâ
Itâs fascinating that her real cats in the funeral scene picture represent debut, speak now and TTPD. These are based on the cats musical characters and Benjamin Button specifically represents the process of going back in time to reclaim her masters. If weâre going all the way back to the start then reclaiming her name is the destination.
Swifties have been so focused on anticipating reputation đ¤ and karma 𧥠that theyâve skimmed over everything else going on in the process. This created a decoy with đ§Ąđ¤ as the đĽ carrot dangling in front of the horse, distracting the majority from seeing the forest for the trees. Meanwhile gaylors are Chad in the funeral scene pretending that they donât know about the secret encoded messages.
âA rose by any other name is a scandalâ đđââŹ
Track 5- youâre on your own kid
1am - 1 vs many. This one took a long time to get the ball out of the bingo cage and the caption says âI promise itâs worth the wait đâ. This emoji is the Milky Way, a galaxy of a billion stars.
Star đ vs galaxy đ
Thereâs rumours that the Truman show was based on Princess Diana or Michael Jackson, but itâs come to represent many versions of fame and social media as technology has advanced over time. Seeing the many dedications to Britney Spears at the VMAâs and the outer space themes just highlights the fact that Taylor is not the only one who feels trapped in the web of being a celebrity (World Wide Webđ¸ď¸).
Taylor⢠is Trumanâ˘, but so is everyone else within the industry. Robin Williamsâ˘, Michael Jackson⢠and Princess Diana⢠were all Trumanâ˘. Britney⢠is Trumanâ˘. Theyâre all Truman⢠because unlike the Truman show, the cycle of new stars doesnât end. The free Britney movement highlighted her struggles as a star đ, but then everyone moved on once the conservatorship came to an end. They were so blinded by the details of Britneyâs life that they didnât look up and notice that her star was shining amongst a galaxy full of stars đ in the same position.
âStars, do you like dem?â đĽš
Track 10- labyrinth (swiftie pov)
2am - 2 narratives. I feel like this is the point where swifties get stuck in the loop of demanding reputation and feeling like theyâve won the tayvis debate. The green gingham skirt matches Taylorâs outfit from the tennis match, which many swifties have used as evidence to confirm their view of the relationship. Theyâll either stay here believing theyâre on the right path anticipating an engagement right up until the end or will slowly start to come around to our point of view.
Track 10- labyrinth (gaylor pov)
2am - 2 narratives. Gaylors on the other hand saw through the tennis appearance with how their behaviour differed from everyone else around them, but the tennis reference still applies. The lilac short skirt from the for a fortnight challenge matches the skirt from blank space. Itâs Travisâs âfavouriteâ song for a reason and we all know what that song implies. The shirt from the labyrinth clip is also a match to the anti hero challenge where sheâs holding Benji like a baby. This feels like an acknowledgment of the âchildless cat ladyâ being the correct path to follow.
On the Jimmy Fallon show Taylor invited us to go down the rabbit hole with her. If the rabbit hole is a labyrinth, itâs not a maze of tunnels with multiple endings. A labyrinth is a journey along a single path with one destination at the end. In the end only one side of the swiftie/gaylor debate can be right.
I mentioned earlier that the MMwM was a cypher. This is a form of communication thatâs only understood through the use of a key. This is similar to how queer flagging works, both people need to have the prior knowledge of queer culture to interpret the message correctly. Gaylors have picked up on the deeper meaning of Taylorâs story because weâre all viewing it through a queer lens. Swifties on the other hand use this process in a more obvious way with friendship bracelets, hand hearts and merchandise.
To the swifties the rabbit hole is a cave like chamber, whereas gaylors hold the key that unlocks the door to the tunnel. Weâre going to receive more backlash than ever following 9/11 because they donât realise that the rabbit hole continues.
âIâll follow you, follow you home
This slope is treacherous
This path is reckless
This slope is treacherous
I, I, I like itâ
đłď¸đ
Track 12- sweet nothing
Swiftie ending? Nothing of note in this one, but I do think this is the point where weâre all on board and the tail end is to provide an insight to what the swifties will experience.
[Alexa, play your on your own kid! đŤĄ]
On the new heights podcast Travis described his outfit from the tennis appearance as an ode to the 1960âs cartoon character Mr Magoo, with the bucket hat and suspenders. Mr Magooâs character is known for driving around blindly due to an extreme case of short sightedness. âYou never saw the signs (I gave so many signs)â. He gets into many predicaments caused by his stubborn refusal to admit that his eye sight is a problem.
Thereâs also a business based term called Mr Magoo syndrome. It describes how someone has to water down the truth so much it distills every nuance of a complex issue to create a palatable version for the recipient to understand it. But then in the process they become trapped and have to continue having a shallow conversation that lacks the truth they began with.
The purpose of the Truman show is to encourage the viewer to see the directorâs role in the story. Truman became Truman⢠at a young age to fit in, but then became trapped living a lie because the director wasnât able to see whatâs inside Trumanâs head.
All of this, combined with the lack of understanding to decipher Taylorâs lyrics through a queer lens is why the gaylors are right and the swifties are wrong.
To some extent theyâre playing the role of director in Taylorâs version of the Truman show. Not being able to see whatâs inside Taylorâs heart has kept her performing for them from the very beginning of her career. She has been watering down her truth the whole time because she wanted the swifties to stay.
âAll this showmanship to keep it for you in *sweetness*â
TTPD is a goodbye to the swifties that will leave and a peace offering to the ones who will linger in the hopes theyâll stay. đ¤đ¤
Track 4- snow on the beach feat LDR
Gaylor ending? âThe season finale of Midnights Mayhem with Me, with QUITE the twist of an endingâŚâ
[Alexa, play maroon! đ]
Jack plays Taylorâs muse in the bejewelled music video to provide a neutral option on both sides, but what if itâs more than that? What if âkarma is my boyfriendâ is a reference to what Jack has been able to do to help not just Taylor, but help unite many others in the industry? When all eyes were on Truman, his best friend Marlon was working behind the scenes to make sure everything was in order. For the plan to have the biggest impact it was integral that Truman kept up the facade of Trumanâ˘, knowing that faltering so close to the finish line would prevent him from escaping when everyone least expected it. This is the role Jack would be fulfilling for Taylor now. âEvery bait and switch was a work of artâ.
Everyone in the industry that feels like Taylor⢠is going through what Taylor describes in âI can do it with a broken heartâ. âAll the pieces of me shattered as the crowd was chanting âMOREââ. More of Trumanâ˘. More access to their private life. More influence on their choices. More, more, more, forevermore.
In the end Trumanâs turning point was seeing how far the director was willing to go to force him to stay. He wanted Truman to help conceive the next version of Trumanâ˘. This push to repeat the cycle is whatâs motivating Taylor to go through with it now. âYou look like *Taylor Swift* in this light, weâre loving itâ đ And Travis is the key for the swifties to be able to see the bigger picture because just like the director, the swifties have been predictable enough that Taylorâs been able to plan things like this years in advance.
âTwo graves, one gunâ
đłď¸đłď¸đ
Others have played a role in influencing Taylor need to stay in the role of Taylorâ˘, but now that Taylor is focused on sharing her side of the story weâre starting to see the role sheâs started playing as the best friend and director for the next generation of artists.
âKarma takes all my friends to the summitâ đ
âAll you did was smile âcause Iâm a mastermindâ đââď¸
A tortured poet,
Kylie x
P.S. Iâve been sharing more of my thoughts on x lately @kylieswift31 if you want to stay up to date x

self-indulgent bullshit story theory on how the bunny boys get to be precure in the tv show, version 1
So Nico decides the Precure won't be able to stand up to Gaoh (maybe they lose when he comes out in person), and so she absorbs the Precure's powers, since they originally came from the Nico Diamond, and goes off in her human form to fight
At one point they kidnap all the girls and use them as hostages to try and get Nico to stand down. It seems to work, but as they taunt Nico with saying how two humans and two animals aren't worth as much as everyone in Nico Garden, she relents and tries to keep attacking even though the girls are in the way.
But Gaoh knew she'd do that because he knows that at the end of the day Nico has been a coward and she can't bring herself to prioritise the human world over Nico Garden. So they know where she's going to attack and predict her moves and knock her down.
At that point all hope seems lost until they hear some rustling in the bushes.
It's Daifuku.
Suddenly, spontaneously, he turns into his human form and tells Nico the reason she lost is because she hasn't been able to trust humans. After all, it's the bond between humans and animals that caused the Nico Diamond to shine in the first place. She's been trying to take that burden away from humanity, but that won't help either world grow to deal with the challenges they must face.
And he'll show them what a bond between an animal and human is.
"Satoru, it's time to transform!"
Cue a big "Ehhhh???" from everyone. Including Satoru himself, who hasn't fully understood what's going on yet. (He's accepted Daifuku has the voice of Yuichi Nakamura now, that's fine. He just didn't think he would also be involved in this plan his rabbit cooked up.)
"Is that...really okay?"
"You want to protect what's important to you, don't you?"
Satoru nods and steps forward, the Mirror Stone does its thing, they probably get their movie forms because I doubt they'd use something else at this point. Dunno if they get a henshin bank scene. I'm already thinking about this way too hard.
Anyway they manage to disarm whatever the villains are for a bit and go free the girls. The villains get up and try to attack them, but get kicked by Nico for their troubles. Teamwork!
Nico gives the girls their powers back, realising she underestimated the power of those bonds they have and she really can't control shit so might as well leave it up to them.
Then...I dunno. The 6 of them go off to the final battle or something.
my thought is that when daifuku jumped out there he was basically bluffing. or at least, he didn't know he could spontaneously turn into a human again. He just knew he did it in the movie and he really needs to tell everyone the important themes of the show before they get themselves into big trouble so maybe if he just really believes hard enough it'll happen again and it does
this is 100% not going to happen but imagine if it did
#wonderful precure#shoutouts to jp precure twitter#for the copium and theories#it's not over yet pyonderful gang

Reach for the Stars! AU QnA:
(Part 2)
Part 1
May I give a reward to @wings-of-sapphire for completely being the cause of Part 2?
LMAO, thanks so much Sapphire! Youâre the best â¨đĽ°
Onto the questions!!
1.) Are there any other ships youâre going to add? (Other than the given AshueĂąo and royal couple?)
AshueĂąo and the royal couple (Magnaya? Amnifico? Idk) are definitely there.
Other ships? Well, there is one but youâre going to have to wait and see to find out.
If youâre thinking Halzeema, no not really. Sorry guys đ
Theyâre close friends and really fond of each other, but Iâd like to put some QPR representation in the back too. As an ace person, I feel like these kinds of relationships need more recognition. :))
âŚâŚ.
2.) Are you adding any new characters in the story? Like for example, Iâm adding Evangeline.
Not really?? I guess there would be some random citizens and maybe some mentions of the 7 teens parents, but they donât really play a major part.
The already existing characters do play very different roles than they did in the canon movie. (For example, Sabino not being Ashaâs paternal grandfather and is instead a close friend of TomĂĄs during his time working in the castle.)
But other than that, thereâs really nothing new that I know of.
âŚâŚâŚ..
3.) If you could use one word to describe each of the characters of RFTS, what would they be?
Asha = Compassionate
SueĂąo = Fun-loving
Magnifico = Vengeful
Amaya = Ambitious
Valentino = Bold. Sometimes too bold for his own good.
âŚâŚ..
4.) How long do you predict your story to be? Have you plotted it all out yet or are you more of a âsee where it takes youâ writer?
Hmmmm, I donât actually know. Looking at my outline, it looks like itâs going to be quite a long story. Maybe even novel-length. Plus, all the unplanned in-between scenes would add more to it.
Though, I doubt youâll get bored reading it. I think-
Hopefully not. đ
When writing, I prefer to really outline my planning because I would HATE to write myself in a corner and not know what happens next. Imagine restarting and rewriting your work T_T.
With a defined plan, Iâd be confident enough to just write because I have a guide to follow right next to me :D
But dammit, the middle of the story and what happens in there is killing me.
I DONâT KNOW. AHHHHH HELP-
âŚâŚ..
5.) Is there a certain scene youâre super excited to write? What about one youâre dreading?
There is like one scene where SueĂąo really loses his sht and me, as the lovely author~, get to have the fun and satisfaction of knocking Magâs pride down.
Muahahahaha-
Iâm also pretty excited to write the âAt All Costsâ scene and the final battle because DAMN, something possessed me to make up pretty good ideas for them. But Iâm also really looking forward to writing character dynamics and how fun it would be for them to interact with each other.
For scenes that Iâm dreading to write?
The middle of everything. And.
The Middle.
Did I mention Iâm stuck in the middle?
KCNEICJEOFKDKSKS THE FREAKING MIDDLE-
âŚâŚ
6.) How are you going to show the songs/lyrics changes to said songs?
Iâve actually already answered this same question with chillwildwave.
Iâm writing them out similar to Annyâs, I guess. Iâm no animator, so I canât really show them visually. I would use gifs and my own drawings to visually show whatâs going on though.
I would be either tweaking the lyrics of some of the canon songs or in some certain scenes, pretend thereâs a song being sung there and just describe whatâs going on.
I might also be using some already pre-existing Disney songs to set the vibe and reference what Iâm going for.
Yeaaaaah, sorry I canât write songs even if my life depends on it. đ
âŚâŚâŚ
7.) Do you have any sneak peaks you can give us?
Sneak peaks huh?
HmmmmmmmmmmâŚ..
Okay, maybe some screenshots of my outline and some quotes I wrote down.
Enjoy these random moments of Asha interacting with her family: âşď¸
âŚâŚâŚ..
8.) Do you have any voice actors chosen yet?
Actually, Iâm pretty fine with the canon voice actors we have now. So theyâll just be voiced by the same people.
(Chris Pine and Ariana were good in their role, change my mind.)
Though I was thinking about this very fun thought on what SueĂąo might sound like if he could speak. Imagine that! :D
So far, Iâve really just headcanon SueĂąoâs voice similar to Adam Young, aka Owl City. I love listening to his songs and itâs funny, because I can REALLY envision SueĂąo singing these songs because it justâŚfits. ^^
âShine Your Wayâ is a pretty cool duet that really fits Starsha in my opinion too. â¨â¨
âŚâŚ..
9.) How are you exploring the world building of Rosas?
Iâm not entirely sure what you mean with this question. I guess through the use of songs, dialogue and bits of flashbacks and examples of magic?
Sorry if I didnât answer this right. đ
âŚâŚâŚ
10.) How much research do you do for your storyline?
*Remembers how Iâve spent around an hour to find a name for SueĂąo and how Iâve spent ages to find inspiration for the magic rules of this world and a monarch system that isnât completely historically accurate but enough to make a bit of sense*
âŚ..A normal amount. Why do you ask?
âŚâŚâŚ
*holds hands up*
OKAY OKAY! IâM DRINKING! IâM DRINKING!! đââď¸đ¨
âŚâŚâŚ
@annymation @gracebethartacc @emillyverse @uva124 @chillwildwave @tumblingdownthefoxden @spectator-zee @mythartist21
Iâm still open to having a Part 3 if you guys are interested :))

What I predict will happen in the Mario Movie.
+ Luigi gets sucked into a bathtub drain (the same one that shows to be dripping with Mario looking at it. This is also a reference to the first episode of the Super Mario Super Show), resulting in him being thrown into the warp pipe first. Which is why Mario is chasing after Luigi in that scene. He literally jumps in to try and save his brother. + Both brothers hit a turbulence and get separated. Resulting in Mario being sent to the Mushroom Kingdom and Luigi appearing on Bowserâs island, where he gets chased by Dry Bones. The castle he hides in is Bowserâs castle and he gets captured by Kamek after some chasing around once heâs discovered. + Mario is on a growth quest. This is what the whole movie is going to be about. Heâs a prophetic âheroâ, the only problem is that he sucks. So Peach attempts to whip him into shape, Kung Fu Panda style. + This is where all those scenes of Mario being smacked around, beaten up, and falling down on those mario-esque level items originate from. Peach is struggling to turn him into the hero he NEEDS to be before Bowser arrives to take over her Kingdom and steal her power stars. This is shown in the trailer at the 1:10 marker. It seems that Mario performed so poorly that he stayed there until nightfall, as one can take note of the time of day changing. + They NEED Mario to become who heâs destined to be, because the Mushroom Kingdom is full of pathetic inhabitants (The scene where theyâre looking at the map and saying theyâre adorable.) and maybe Mario feels discouraged that he canât be super enough or heroic enough to save the day. + Luigi IS going to be the captive in this movie and there will be interactions between him and Bowser. What kinds? Well, I can only hope that the music number Jack Black teased is performed here, with Bowser taunting Luigi and saying how his brother wonât be able to stop him. Seeing as thereâs a literal CLUB inside of his castle (the scene with all the enemies, you can see a light show and DJ in the background) + The three of them go on a quest to the neighboring islands to partner up with them and get an army together that is strong enough to fight back against Bowserâs army. This is why they went to DKâs island and we see Yoshiâs island. They need to travel for alliance purposes, which will also be a major part of the movie. + The fireflower field scene revolves around Peach and Marioâs relationship as he probably admits that he doesnât feel super, but the fireflowers might be involved in the final fight or with Mario discovering his true potential. + During the quick action scenes, Mario is in a Tanooki Suit and we see Bowserâs floating castle looming overhead behind him. This must mean that Mario probably tries to leave, which is why Peach gears up to fight Bowser, but decides to come back. + The Mario Kart scene is merely just a reference, as there wonât be an actual race. If you notice, most of the followers are from DKâs island. Which means that after whatever happened in the arena, the inhabitants eventually decide to join in an alliance with the Mushroom Kingdom. Which probably shows them all heading off to their next destination or back to the Mushroom Kingdom. + For my final prediction, I donât think itâs going to be Peach or the inhabitants being in danger that will make Mario see his true potential. Itâs going be seeing Luigi after heâs been tortured for who knows how long and Luigiâs cry for his big brother to come and save him. THIS is what awakens the hero deep inside of Mario. His brother being in danger. The final battle will involve Luigi to a certain degree, which I think would be an awesome stake to make Mario into the hero he needs to be.
#mario movie#super mario movie#super mario bros movie#long post#I don't even think about the Mario franchise that much#But I just can't help but try to put the pieces together#theories#hax speaks#looks like a cool movie if they would just GET RID OF CRISP RAT ALREADY#I hope for movie edits out the ASS mario community#Also I haven't watched any videos this is just what my gut is telling me#Plus autism brain go brrr

đ self-love time! talk about which ones of YOUR creations (edits, artworks, fanfics) you like the most then send to other creators to do the same đ
Awww! Thank youuuu! It's a nice game and I won't pass an opportunity to rant about my fics ahah.
My favorites works are my two less popular fics.
The first one is To the Day I die, which is the final installment of my "Johnny goes to therapy" series. I started the series when I opened prompts something like two years ago. After that, I got inspired by @rockerboyrepo's series "difficult to love" and wrote a follow-up where Johnny 1) propose to Kerry and 2) doesn't die in the tower in 2023.
Now, I realize how out of character Johnny proposing to Kerry can sound, but it was the challenge: to make it believable and I think i kinda nailed that ;).
To the Day I Die was inspired by the feelings I got from listening to Zeit, from Ramstein (it has very little to do with the fic otherwise). I was also in a phase where I was obsessed with Johnny pinning for Kerry (Lindechir and Thedevilchicken's fics are to blame, thanks to their amazing fics!). To the Day I Die happens ten year after the previous one, and they're at a point in their relationship where their marriage falls appart, predictably. What I liked about writing this one was playing with a Johnny that is slightly less angry than the one we know, but a lot more depressed. He tries to do the right thing, even if it kills him and also, "the right thing" is absolutely not the actual right thing, of course.
I wrote that fic "delicately", like I suppose one can write poetry: each word was weighed and carefully placed. I was so proud of this one when I finished it and it was with giddiness that I published it.
Publishing was disappointing. The fic didn't, and still doesn't, get the engagement I felt it deserved due to the hard work behind it. It took all my energy not to whine about that, and to deal with the disappointment "maturely". This fic, I think, was a big step toward really learning to write for myself, because I want to, because I can, and to care less about comments and kudos.
I might sound like I'm trying to reassure myself but I think that fic wasn't really a fic: it doesn't cater to what people come looking for when they search for a Silverdyne fic, and Johnny is probably too OOC, though it is justified in the story by what happened before. So I understand why it didn't get the success I hoped in terms of views, kudos and comments, and now i can really say i don't care anymore. But i was hard when it happened, and I've wanted to say it for a while now, to acknowledge it and give voice to my inner author who was very hurt in the process.
The second of my favorites fic is the John Wick fic. It would never have seen the light of day if I hadn't lived through what I lived with To the Day I Die. As I said, this fic freed me so when I started writing The Leash and later it's follow-up (soon to be published), I knew it would not gather a lot of recognition by numbers. The John Wick fandom is small and consists a lot of fics between John and the reader, while I wrote about Santino/John, a rarepair.
Plus, I arrived late, a good while after the battle ahah. The few people invested in that ship left a long time ago, since the second movie got out in like, 2016 or something. But i didn't care, that fic had to get out. I paused for a long time because it was still hard to motivate myself when I knew it was gonna be read by like, 3 people (it got read by a little more ;)), and I was doing other projects, but after seeing the 4th movie I finished it.
Publishing was... Something. I still hoped, but I was prepared. There was something else this time, too: this fic was precious, and more than lack of recognition I feared bad reactions because the John Wick I depicted is maybe not the one most portrayed. I made him a sub (though that evolves through the story) and someone with too much empathy for his world, where I've seen a lot of work where he's really cold, detached, and generally more dominant in bed.
I was afraid people wouldn't get it, but once again, my dead friend Rockerboyrepo was here to reassure me, and to help me see it through. I gifted the fic to him as a thank you.
Now, the fic amazingly got a lot more engagement that I hoped, and it was all very positive so I'm just very happy! And maybe happy I'm converting people to that ship once again ahaha.
I'll stop here before I bore you all out, thank you once again @bearodyne for the ask!!! â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸

Got some more :D
1: what apps do they like to use? I can see them using twitter & maybe TikTok; probably do silly videos on there.
2: did Nightwing & starfire, plus marâi tried to hide their superhero identity from Jake? (Probably did the same before marâi got her powers too.)
3: how would a starburst duo movie start?
4: besides spider-man, do they like other spider-man stuff like the venom movie?
5: do they play battle royale games? I can see them both playing Fortnite (& doing the dances both in & out of costumes) but Chris likes COD Warzone & Jake like apex legends.
6: silly question, since they are pre-teens almost & have girlfriends, what do they prefer: butts or boobs? or personality XD
Sorry for the wait @gothicghost2000 But Here we are XD
1. They have three primary social apps: YouTube (the first one respectively), Twitter and Tumblr. All three apps have specific tools The Duo can use for their particular hobbies and interests, Tumblr for example being the blog space where they can give their predicts and hypotheses about their favorite ongoing shows and where it can go from there.
YouTube is their video library place, for all sorts including live streams, recaps of favorite shows/games, and yes thank to the Shorts function, TikTok style videos. Chris and Jake thankfully have both Jakeâs tech expertise and even Oracle on some occasions to help them make sure they donât get busted for copyright by the algorithms.
2. Not entirely actually. Even as a toddler, Jake was a relatively smart cookie and everyone knew it so before he was able to piece it altogether by the time he was 3 to 4 in his own way, Dick and Kory came clean to him about everything and even Marâi pitched in about her training to one day be a great superhero like Momma and Daddy are since she has powers while Jakeâs are still not kicking in.
I can just imagine little Jakey looking at his family, taking it all in and then finally breaking the silence saying âDoes that mean I blast lasers from my eyes too later?â Akin to when Marky found out his powers at the end did the original Invincible comic
3. Basically Iâd have first a colorful and detailed title sequence that through simple comic panels and even some motion comic elements, details the basics of how the Duo were born, Chrisâ arrival on Earth and adoption by the Kents, the two first meeting as little kids who look up to their parents as their heroes, Jakeâs power first kicking in when fending off a bully at school, the Duo training on their powers together and gaining renown slow but steadily, then once the title scene ends, we open with a bang as we are catching up with the Duo in the middle of a massive superhero battle in Metropolis against all sorts of baddies and villains, something akin to the opening shots of Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith
4. They have a good laugh and thrill at the first and second Venom movies respectively. They also are big time fans of the Spiderverse films; there actually is a strongly passionate debate between Chris and Jake over which Spidey films are better. Chris vouches for the Raimi trilogy while Jake sides firmly with Spiderverse. Other than all that though, both also watch every single Spidey animated series, good or bad, collect what their friends online consider the best runs in both Marvel Prime and the Ultimate Universe (the latter Jake is really into thanks to his Uncle Tim(my) loving Ultimate Spidey) and regularly playing co op on the Playstation games
5. Only once a month really and itâs mainly Fortnite. I cant really see them playing COD or Apex not just because those two are more FPS centric which even if fictional in universe doesnât sit that well with them for various reasons, but also for COD especially there egregious money practices from all that miscellaneous DLC, Lootboxes when they are a thing, battle passes, etc. it just doesnât sit right even if technically Jake can be considered a millionaireâs kid at best
6. Personality. Full stop. Even if theyâre aware of the more scandalous and fanservice side of true love, they have the content of a femaleâs character above physical appearance of any kind. Chris and Jake respect girls and women, plain and simple.

Neon Genesis Evangelion 25
It... really isn't though.
Last episode, Shinji killed the last Angel, albeit reluctantly, and that pretty much wraps up the main conflict of the series. So now we just need to wrap up all the loose ends. You know, answer the lingering questions such as:
What is an Eva?
Where did the Angels come from?
When did the Second Angel show up? Did I miss that somewhere?
What's the deal with Rei?
What was SEELE up to?
What was Gendo Ikari up to?
No, really, what's the deal with Rei?
What actually caused Second Impact?
Where did the Dead Sea Scrolls come from, and why did SEELE and Gendo believe the apparent predictions that it made?
Why did they need fourteen-year-old children to pilot the Evas?
What is the Human Instrumentality Project, exactly?
I'm not kidding, what the fuck is the deal with Rei? You can't just dodge the question; she's one of the principal characters. You put her on all the merchandise for crying out loud.
Did Pen-Pen get reunited with Misato after she sent him away to live with friends just before the final battle?
Wow, that's a longer list than I realized. Anyway, Episode 25 takes a long hard look at those unanswered questions and then wads it up and throws it in the trash, then sets the trash can on fire and burns down the entire house. Then Episode 25 goes back in time and erases the very concept of information from the fundamental design of the universe, so that no coherent answers can possibly exist.
If you enjoyed Neon Genesis Evangelion, and are curious to know what happens after Episode 24, Episode 25 wants you to know that it hates you. When you watch Episode 25, you know less about this show than you did before you watched it.
Now, I expected something kind of abstract and surreal. I've heard about this. Fans were dissatisfied with the way the series ended, which eventually led to the release of "End of Evangelion", which promised to deliver a more satisfying conclusion to the series.
I never quite understood, until today, just how dissatisfied the fans really were at the time. I feel like I heard once, long ago, someone complaining that NGE was simply unfinished. Like it got cancelled or something or the writers gave up without writing the rest of it. But that appears to be untrue, so I'm left to assume that whoever said that was just being sarcastic. It's like that xkcd cartoon about the Matrix movie, and the characters lament the fact that they never made a sequel. The joke is that they know there were sequels, but they prefer to pretend that they didn't exist.
And I think at some point I found out that End of Evangelion was like a retelling of the story, but I assumed it was just because you see that a lot in anime. Adolescence of Utena basically does a whole other version of the story in the Utena TV series, basically.
But no, I eventually found out that fans just really, really hated Episodes 25 and 26, and EoE was a make-good. Like, it literally functions as a new Episode 25 and 26 for the TV show, from what I understand. I was looking over an episode list on Wikipedia, and that's how it's listed. There's Episodes 1-26, and then 25A and 26A.
That's wild. I've been curious about this the whole time, and now I'm here and man, Episode 25 is some serious bullshit. I kind of expected it to be weird, and maybe inconclusive, but still in a good kind of way. Like... well, Revolutionary Girl Utena is probably a good example. I watched that show a few years ago and I'm still baffled by most of it, but it had a charm and beauty to it that kept me engaged. I would have preferred a more coherent narrative, but I still found enjoyment from it.
But NGE 25 just sucks. There's no other way to say it. It doesn't advance the plot, it doesn't reveal any secrets or solve any mysteries. It doesn't really do much of anything. I'll try to explain this mess, but fair warning: I don't think there's much to unpack here.
So we start with Shinji agonizing over the way he killed Kaworu, the 17th Angel, at the end of the last episode. This might be promising, except he already agonized over this at the end of Episode 24. I mean, he could continue where he left off. That would be fine, except this episode even repeats the same scene where he talks to Misato about it and she assures him that he did the right thing. No new insights are introduced here.
Shinji imagines himself in the grasp of Eva Unit 01, and laments that he still has to pilot the Eva, even after all that's happened. Uh, who said you have to keep piloting the Eva, sport? I'm not saying this is true or untrue, but why does Shinji assume this when he has no more enemies to fight, and his dad hasn't assigned him to a new mission?
This is what pisses me off. In a good episode, the story would just move forward in linear time. The battle with Kaworu would be over, and everyone would dust themselves off and ask what's next. Gendo would either tell everyone what to do, or they'd defy Gendo and try to stop him. Or something. Someone would have to tell Shinji that he will have to continue piloting the Eva, or that he never has to pilot it again, and he could react to that information.
Instead, we have him whining about facts that aren't even in evidence. Does he have to keep piloting the Eva or not? We don't know! Neither does he! And we can't find out because this stupid episode is some sort of dream sequence/acid trip instead of being set in the "real" world!
And again, I kind of knew it would be like this, that NGE ended with Shinji having some weird introspection instead of a proper finale. But what drives me nuts is that we really don't learn anything new about him. He hates his dad for abandoning him! He does what he's told because he's desperate for the approval of others! He's afraid of people hating him! He hates piloting the Eva but he does it because people appreciate him for it! We already know this! Dammit, we've been hearing about it for the entire run of the show.
Hey, did you know Asuka's bio-mom hanged herself when she was little? Yes, you did, because we found out in Episode 24. Episode 25 just... shows us all over again like it's new information. It doesn't do anything new with it. It just rehashes the same observation that Asuka craves attention and glory and praise because she fears losing her identity without it. Nothing is added nor resolved.
I think the one new tidbit we get from this episode is that Rei has longed for the day when she would no longer be of any use to Gendo Ikari, and he would discard her. She waits for death, but now she fears it, which is pretty dark. Assuming that this is even the "real" Rei making that statement. We'll come back to that.
Oh, hey, Ritsuko Akagi is dead. When did that happen?
And so is Misato. Okay, maybe we're getting back to the real world, and seeing events play out. Gendo has triumphed over the Angels, and now he's liquidating his allies as he moves on to the next phase of his plan...
Wait, no, they're alive again, and arguing over the merits of the Human Instrumentality Project, which Ritsuko claims is designed to merge all human consciousness together into one big collective mind. Except... I don't believe that explanation, because it's being presented in a surreal fantasy. Ritsuko had a bullet hole in her a second ago and now she's fine. How can I accept any information presented in this scene?
Episode 25 then examines Misato's character for a while, under the pretense of proving some sort of oblique thesis, but in reality it just slut shames her for having casual sex with Kaji. The episode accuses her of giving in to base, carnal desires, and she screams denial after denial. I kept waiting for some deep dark secret to be at the heart of all of this. Like Misato only drinks and fucks to hide some secret shame, but no. She just drinks and fucks, because she's a grown-ass woman who can do whatever she wants when she's off-duty. This isn't catharsis, it's just filler disguised as drama. Who is she even arguing with?
Finally, Shinji finds himself in an empty theater, surrounded by other characters from the show. Like a Greek chorus, they inform him that this is but one of many realities, and what he's experiencing now is the reality he chose, a world cut off from everything that could possibly cause him discomfort. Also, he can't escape this fate, because he chose it, even though he repeatedly denies doing so.
And this is where I wrote off the episode as trash, because the like "This is real, but only one of the many realities" is the biggest cop out ever. So we're saying everything in this episode both happened and didn't happen? Then why does any of it matter?
This is why I question the point of Rei admitting she longs for death. If the real Rei thought this way, then it would be powerful. We know Rei. We've come to care about her over the course of the series. But the Rei we see in this episode may only be a figment of Shinji's imagination. Or she may not even be that. What she admits or denies in this episode is meaningless.
Anyway, yeah, fuck this episode. The only takeaway here is that Shinji has somehow gotten lost in his own head. He created a private haven for himself, but it's nothing more than a prison. Whooptee-shit.
Yeah, yeah, the next episode preview has deteriorated to mere script drafts instead of visuals. It's not cute anymore.

My Critque of Pokemon Masters 8 and how I would have done things differently.
I've finally watched Ultimate Journeys and I feel now is the time to provide my honest feedback on what was supposed to be the greatest arc of the whole anime but in reality was a bit half cooked. So let's break this down into points.
Leon: I'm just going to say it, I don't like Leon, i don't like his personality, his "rivalry" with Ash is none-existent, the way his power scaled against the other trainers like Alain & Diantha basically makes out he's an unbeatable god, his ace Charizard is a poor, overused choice with too many crippling weaknesses and the attempts to humble him by making out he's just like Ash only highlight the fact he was funded by Chairman Rose.
Ash should have used his old Pokemon: For what is supposed to be Ash's finest hour the fact he only used the Pokemon he'd caught in Journeys was rather underwhelming. I know we were going to see some of them in Aim to be a Master but would you rather see Charizard, Sceptile etc battling against the best in the Pokemon world or just stopping Team Rockets antics?
The background music fails to build tension, suspense or energize: Now I did like the remix of the original Pokemon theme in the final battle with Ash and Leon, but it was only for the last few seconds. It really should have played throughout the whole Charizard vs Pikachu fight. But the music used throughout the rest of the battle's really doesn't suit the circumstance, it almost trivialize's them. Considering the great remix's used throughout the first 13 seasons, such as remixs of the Hoenn Elite 4, Kanto Champion and Johto Champion and even anime original tracks were capable of building excitement and really hyping up the battles. Pity that couldn't be done here.
Alain- The way Alain was handled was poor. Why the writers decided he shouldn't battle Ash is just bizarre and it also seems they forgot who the hell he was apart from the fact he use's a Mega Charizard X. He was badly handled, made no prior appearences to his frankly rushed defeat at the hands of Leon and was made to look pathetic just so the writers could hype Leon up even more. As you can probably tell, I don't have to many nice things to say, but i will add, I enjoyed Iris and Cynthia's battle and the basic concept is good, just poorly handled. So how would I improve it you ask? 1. Establish the rules of the Master's 8 beforehand. The rules would be the same as the Pokemon League: Levels are not set at 50 or 100, Legendary/Mythical Pokemon are allowed, Pokemon gain EXP when battling and the reigning monarch chooses the battle structure for the Masters 8. With said tournament taking place once a yeat. 2. Change the structure. Instead of Leon taking part and making all his battles super predictable, he will be the final boss awaiting the winner of the tournament. 3. Change the episodes continuity. So, here goes. Alain beats Diantha in the first Master's 8 we see in Flash of the Titans. Then, when Ash goes to Kalos to see Clemont & Bonnie, we hear Alain has become Kalos champion and that Diantha is retiring to work on her movies. Then, when Ash goes back to Oak's lab in Friends, Rivals, Lend Me Your Spirit!, Diantha spars with him instead of Paul (more on that later), Diantha also get's a position as a guest commentator alongside Oak. On to Paul. First, we'll see him leaving the Masters 8 in Flash of the Titans before we see him again at the next tournament ranked 9th. And since we have another spot open, Brandon will also be taking part. Finally, instead of rushing a battle at the end of Curtain up! Fight the Fights! We get a nice Q&A section with participants taking questions from the audience. 4. Change the battling order. The order of the battles will look like this. 'Paul' v Brandon 'Ash' v Alain Iris v 'Cynthia' Steven v 'Lance' Followed up with Ash v Paul and Lance v Cynthia, then it's the same as it is in normal Ultimate Journeys. 5. Ash get's to use his old Pokemon. Here is what his teams look like: Greninja, Lucario, Gliscor Pikachu, Charizard, Infernape, Krookodile, Snorlax, Melmetal Pikachu, Dragonite, Lucario, Sceptile, Heracross, Muk And his final team is the same as. Here is what the other altered teams look like: Paul Electivire, Magmortar, Aggron Electivire Z-Move, Urasring, Garchomp, Froslass, Torterra, Drapion Brandon Regirock/Steel/Ice Alain Mega-Charizard X, Tyrantiar, Bisharp Cynthia v Lance Mega-Garchomp, Roserade, Togekiss, Kommo-o, Lucario, Gastrodon Steven Swap Aggron for Skarmory Lance Gyarados, Dragonite, Mega-Salamance Mega-Gyaradoes, Dragontie, Aerodactyl, Hydreigon, Salamance, Kingdra And so, that is how I would I fix the Masters 8, would what you do to change it?

Engage 12 - 14
Spoilers for FE Engage 12+ below the cut.
I'm betting I get Byleth, Ike, Erikia, Corrin, and whoever else I'm forgetting before getting the old rings back? I wish I still had Marth and Sigurd though. They had SSS Tier inheritance.
I love Kagetsu so far. But I'm a sucker for swordmasters in general. The crit animation they have is so fun. If the weapon triangle wasn't such a huge deal in this game, I'd make an entire army of swordmasters lol.
I like how Ivy actually has intel on the enemy and actually tells us. We need more recruited, reformed "villains" who do this.
Fogado is funny so far. If he and Kagetsu had a support, that would be gold. Because it would be non-stop flirting or competing at who can flirt better. I saw Fogado wins so far, because Katetsu is awkward as hell about it lamo.
So if all the NPCs are dark-skinned, they should've made more Solm retainers dark-skinned too (I know from pre-release that images they aren't). FE is getting better a variety, but still some way to go.
Veyle is being a bitch to Marth for no reason. Leave him alone. Still predicting that Mauvier is recruitable. And Griss is . . . eh . . . something. I love a good unhinged villain though.
One thing I DON'T like about this game is that they give you new units way too fast. Like, I just got Ivy and co and now I have Fogado and co. And they seem like a fun bunch, but like, I only have 7 deploy slots . . .
And then you get into a situation where if you want to try out the new units, you can't in a skirmish, because those are the HARDEST battles in this game because it scales with your characters. Which, in some way, I like, because then they're a good challenge but then you can make story levels easier by outclassing enemies, so then you're not "stuck" on a story and can pick and choose your challenging stuff, but it leaves other units behind. Which is typical FE I guess, but all the extra content seems like it encourages you to use new guys. Idk, there's low level Tempest Trials, but those take a long time and rewards are meh for how long it takes, esp for exp, which is why I don't think they really work for it either.
Ugh, Alcryst keeps getting shit level ups, but his supports and character is so interesting. And I just complained about limited deploy slots. I hope my boy can catch up, because he's, unfortunately, next on the benched list. Everyone else either dodges or tanks likes a pro. He's really my only liability on the battlefield right now.
Seforia is pretty cool. Glad to see more moms in this game. Really, almost everyone had a mom instead of a dad this time.
Oh, God, I'm so happy to get Ike. đđđđđ Radiant Dawn was my first Fire Emblem game, and still probably the one I've replayed the most. OMG this makes me so happy đđđđ
Timerra and co seem fun, but again, I'm sick of new characters. I still have a few open slots (pending you take 12-14 ish in final chapters), but 1 is reserved for the dancer, because, dancer. It's just a bonus he's gorgeous this time.
Ok, also, you have no idea how happy the bosses of these chapters makes me. It's a shoutout to other twin bandits with goofy names that used to show up n all the past GBA games.
Iyv's reaction to hearing that Hortensia has attacked was hilarious. A+ to the voice actress selling that.
I like how the three heirs on this post-level map are all talking to the locals. It's a nice detail. They're being diplomatic.
Also, another small bonus to this game. The bald eagle actually sounds like a bald eagle. All that majestic yelling you hear in movies is fake. That's a different bird. Eagles sound like squeaky toys, lamo.
Ivy teasing Alcryst in their B support is great lol. She tweaked him big time. She's a much more engaging character than she seemed like she would be initially.
So I just saw Alfred and Ivy's C Support, and this is the 2nd time someone told Alfred he's naĂŻve for trusting people and he's just like "yep!" I love him so much, you don't even know.
Kagetsu is a fucking badass. Dude doesn't even have a special ring and makes mincemeat of enemy units. No way I could've beat the skirmish I just did without him. It was fog of war, everyone was separated, and like 99% of the units were fliers, but I really want to adopt a deer, so . . . Thanks, Kagetsu. He's going to get a pebble when I get back to Somniel. There wasn't even any deer. đ Why did I suffer? Got an owl and a rabbit at least though.
Case in point about Kagetsu. Turns out, he was the first enemy in the arena and defeated: Merrin, Ivy, Celine, and Chloe before Alfred finally took that menace down.
Lyn mentioned Eliwood and Hector in her paralogue đđ
Just saw Alfred and Alear's A Support. I think they're cute together. He's one of the few people who was casual with her right away, which is what Alear really wants. And the first one who offered friendship too. Still picking him as my S Support.
I still can't get over Hortensia's design.
Kind of glad that Hortensia is angry with Ivy. It makes sense she'd feel hurt and betrayed by Ivy, esp since she just lost her father too. Conflict also makes for a better story so . . .
Oh, wow, another cool moment for Alear. Hortensia is holding the Solm queen captive and threatens to kill her if Alear won't hand over the rings. But Alear refuses. So does Timerra, good on her.
Hortensia's VA is really selling her breakdown. Makes me feel bad and realize she's just a little girl. Then thong lady shows up and ruins it.
Is it bad I'm relieved Goldmary and Rosado aren't around? Because I'm tired of getting 3 new units every round. Even though I want Rosado so badly.
Oh, good grief. Hortensia is under some kind of mind control. How original, Fire Emblem. Betting that other little girl is too.
Ivy and Hortensia got pretty cool story arcs. Pretty sure I get Hortensia and Byleth now. Man, it's cool to get Byleth.
And, hey, another parent gets to live!
Solm gave me more money đđđđ

I made a bunch of predictions from the announcement and up to the release of The Super Mario Bros Movie, some joking, some half-serious, some for real, and now that the movieâs out, I figured it was time to fully revisit them and see how I fared. SPOILERS AHEAD. I might get review-y.
The Toads will act like Minions and dominate all marketing and merchandise. JOSSED. The Toads are just people. Just mushroom people living their lives in Toad Town.
Bowser will be voiced by an unfitting former A-lister trying to reinvent himself. JOSSED. IâM SO SORRY, I WAS SO BITTER AND WRONG.
He will make jokes and references which will leave the movie dated upon arrival. JOSSED. He is both menacing AND a dork, and it works! His love ballad in the top 100 on iTunes is proof enough there.
The trailers and TV spots will feature copious usage of Van Halenâs Jump. However, this will not be in the movie or its soundtrack album, instead replaced with a vague cover version by Pharrell Williams. JOSSED. The trailers mostly used Black Hydraâs Super Mushroom. The actual licensed pop songs used in the movie were....well, interesting. Choices were certainly made.
The film will perform moderately well at the box office in Europe and America, but will be banned in China and Russia due to a 30 second sequence involving Birdo in a fashion show set to Born This Way. YES AND NO. Birdo is nowhere to be seen, but so far the film is doing VERY well. Russia haven't got it at all, but they're not getting anything new or nice until they stop being dicks in Ukraine.
Despite lacklustre reviews, it will eventually attain a cult following akin to Shrek and include a subculture of people who unironically really want to fuck Kamek. YES AND NO. Critics are slamming it, but fans are having a fine time! However itâs not necessarily Kamek people are eyeing up, but Bowser, when theyâre not shipping him with Luigi. Or possibly even when they are.
Before going to the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi are going to have some sort of big argument or estrangement, leading them to be separated for the bulk of the movie, only to realise they needed each other and reunite for the final battle with Bowser. YES AND NO. They are separated, yes, and do reunite in the third act, but there's no estrangement. Far from it. Their brotherly bond is just so important to them, and saving Luigi is Marioâs sole motivation on his adventure. They're lost without each other and that's just so sweet. âNothing can hurt us as long as weâre togetherâ, indeed.Â
Bowser will kidnap Peach as a last ditch power grab when whateverâs happening with the Stars goes sour. KIND OF? Bowser only wanted the Super Star in the first place so Peach would be impressed enough to marry him, and when just having the Star doesnât work out, he manipulates her into marriage by threatening Toad, and by extension all the other Toads. A kidnapping by coercion if you will.
Thereâll be a market chase sequence, where Mario will pass Waluigi whoâll let out a long Charles Martinet voiced âwaaaaahâ and look knowingly at the camera for an uncomfortable few seconds. JOSSED. This is a Waluigi-free zone.
Alternatively, thereâll be a post-credit scene back in Brooklyn where we see Wario, voiced by Charles Martinet, picking his nose and declaring it to be a keeper while Waluigi cleans the toilet in a maid costume and discovers a pipe to the Mushroom Kingdom. JOSSED. That is NOT what we get in the stinger. I still kind of want to see it though, I think itâs a damn funny image.
That classic Super Mario Bros overworld theme is going to be used a lot. Like, weâll all be sick of it by the end of the movie. YES AND NO. It IS used a lot, but not overbearingly so. There are a lot of other musical nods and motifs from the games, from SMB 1 to Odyssey and then some. The GameCube noise was very nice to hear too. Brian Tyler did a fantastic job on the score.
Thereâll be a Minion on the Illumination title card who eats a mushroom and grows too big for the screen. Alternatively, itâll be a small group of Minions doing an acapella version of the end of level theme. YES AND NO. We do see a Minion, but heâs in a kart ready for a race. I wasnât expecting that one.

Homecooking [May ed]
Be proud of me :PÂ I cooked more this month haha
I also did some night shifts. .. & lived thru over a week of really poor air quality. I shouldnât be complaining, considering ppl have lost homes, businesses, & community facilities/shops but it was just so bad. Itâs bad for me, so I could only imagine what itâs like for ppl with respiratory or heart problems. Every yr there are wildfires here but I read somewhere that this is the 1st time AB beat BC in âstartingâ of wildfires. Like our Albertan wildfires arenât supposed to start yet but we had a few days where temperature was 10degrees above average, plus the winds. .. Yikes!!
^ thatâs the sun at 0815h o_O !!!!
Now that short track season, primarily the World Championships ended. .. the sports event I was looking to was the Sudirman Cup for badminton. Itâs held every 2 yrs & this yr, the venue is was in Suzhou - Chinaâs 1st international badminton event in over 3 yrs! Canât say much about the venue bcos I only see the inside & itâs focussed on a court lol but BWF inserts travel-themed clips in the opening of every live so I got to see some of the views in Suzhou. Iâve actually been there! Anyway, what a wild ride!!! I wonât give spoilers but the CHN vs JPN semi-finals. .. YOU NEED TO WATCH IT! At least the highlights. So much drama!! The finals... I was a little disappointed. I thought KOR vs CHN would be a tight battle but . ..
Alrighty, letâs get to the food~
Random flour noodle with choy sum & egg.
The same package of noodle with choy sum & Busan fish cake.
lol you can tell these were my post-night shift meal... I tend to go for simpler stuff, & in smaller portions bcos I eat 6 times when Iâm working nights...
Air fryer egg plant. You may think itâs weird.. . but I really like it.
Fettuccine with tomato + vegetarian sausage
Udon with capa cabbage & grey squash. Another one of those night shift stretch meals.
Momâs air fryer chicken
vs .. my air fryer chicken
*she added Chinese soy sauce to it for a better colour hence why itâs so dark
There were not as good I thought. Itâs gotta be the plain Costco fries :P
Thick rice noodles + egg + cucumber, seasoned with Korean tartar sauce & fish sauce (the green cap squid one). This is probably the most randomest thing I âput togetherâ this month haha! Usually the thin vermicelli noodles are used but I used the thick soup kind of rice noodles. Then the combo of tartar sauce + fish sauce... But trust me, it was good!
Using the raclette grill for the 1st time this year
Air fryer ribs with a hamburger bun
A closer look. I used the Montreal steak spice with some extra fresh ground black pepper. Yum~
Sujebi with baby bokchoy, seaweed, white beech mushrooms, & an egg~
Udon with napa cabbage, carrot thins & egg.
May book #1: The Obsession. It was quite an easy read (recommended to me via Chapters recommendation based on my purchase history lol). I didnât think it was âthrillingâ enough for be called a thriller but thatâs bcos this is a YA fiction novel so the intended audience is YA. The storyline itself was well thought out but was predictable. I thought the ending was a bit rushed. Read it for relaxation~ I rate it 7.8/10~
May novel #2: Just Havenât Met You Yet. A rom-com that could easily be made into a movie or drama. I thought the main girl was a pathetic - the type that âI donât know what I want; my life has been a lieâ. You know, the aimless, not driven type of lead that you canât relate to. Or maybe you can *shrugs* I bought it bcos it begins with âsuitcase switch-upâ & I thought, âooooh totally K-drama plotâ. I enjoyed it overall; with some slow moments. I really like the main girlâs boss. 8.0/10 (lower than expected)
May novel #3: the Eighth Girl. What a fantastic debut novel by this author~Â this novel was very thrilling & dark. Itâs about a girl with DID & she goes through things.. . The plot itself is simple to understand but I love twists & novels that make me think. This was one of those. Itâs better to start reading without reading up on it so I will leave it here!

Psychology of Angels
After doing my photoshoot revolving around my objects, while dressing as angel, I wanted to look into the deeper psychology of angels Source- Eternalised Podcast: The psychology of Angels

⢠Angels have fascinated human consciousness since the beginning of time. The angel is a recurring archetype in many civilizations and is present in religious literature, philosophy, esotericism, art, movies, and games.
In the Biblical Hebrew term âmalac,â âangelsâ are seen as messengers. While angels are often depicted as human beings with wings in biblical scripture, angels actually do not have wings and appear as ordinary menâsometimes with shining garments. Scripture even encourages hospitality to strangers, as we could be in the presence of an angel without knowing it. Another class of biblical angels, however, does have wings but appears in inhuman, terrifying forms that strike fear in anyone who witnesses them, placing them at the top of the angelic hierarchy.
The idea of representing deities and winged figures dates back thousands of years, and the halo has become a universal religious symbol of divinity. One of the oldest depictions of angels can be found in Zoroastrianism, a monotheistic faith that portrays a cosmic battle between good and evil, predicting the triumph of good. Within Zoroastrianism, various classes of angels exist. Angels are created to serve Godâs purposes, including delivering messages, waging spiritual battles, and executing judgment. They are âministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation.â Some are known as the Angels of Hope, Faith, and Humility.
When angels rebelled, their purpose became the opposite of what God created them for, a perfect act of self-hatred and self-destruction characteristic of the demonic. Each demon carries an âAchillesâ heel,âwhich is a reminder of the original purpose of itâs creation. The battle of good and evil continues to this day. And will remain so until the angels blow their trumpets, announcing the kingdom of heaven and the day of judgement
⢠Angelic motivation
Regarding angelic motivations to engage in encounters with mankind, one reason may be that angels interact with man because they are merely obeying the will will of God.
Another reason for their rebellion may be that angels are emotional creatures who experience joy during these interactions with people because such interactions manifest the glory of God, their primary motivation. Though angels may have been created before man, they were created because of man. (Even though man may not have been present at the moment of creation, in actuality he existed potentially, as a pattern to be unfolded)
Adam was created from the earth; his name derives from the Hebrew âadamah,â meaning earth. God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.
In the Christian celestial hierarchy put forward by Pseudo-Dionysius in the 5th or 6th century, angels are divided into three hierarchies, each containing three orders based on their proximity to God, corresponding to the nine choirs of angels.
1. The First Group of angels serves God directly. (Gods servants) These biblically accurate angels appear in frightening, inhuman forms and give us a glimpse into realms rarely accessible to human eyes. This terrifying presence may be why their first words are often, âDo not be afraid.
La seraphim - 6 winged fiery being. 2 wings cover their faces, two cover their feet, and with the final two they fly, they are described as being forever in Godâs presence.
The idea of angels often arises from miraculous experiences, where one feels that an intelligent force beyond oneself has intervened. Itâs as if a more intelligent and greater agency, alive within, makes one act or directs fate against oneâs own plans. The angel guides a human being, sometimes breaking through with a message that deeply transforms, often at crucial points in life. Our lives continually pass through crises and transitions, making us more susceptible to an angelâs call. During the âdark night of the soul,â one may encounter an angel if God âopens our eyes to them.â Whenever a man consciously encounters a divine agency that assists, commands, or directs, we may understand it as an encounter between the ego and the self.
In Danteâs Divine Comedyâmy favorite bookâthe protagonist experiences a midlife crisis, finding himself in a dark forest, threatened by wild beasts but an angel guides him to paradise!
⢠Cherubim: winged chimeras with four faces. That of a lion,
⢠Ophanim: appear as wheels within wheels, constantly in motion.
Godâs First Angel: Metatron
Metatron is known as Godâs first angel and the only figure allowed to stand alongside God. His glow is so intense that it appears as though there are two authorities in heaven, God and Metatron. He is also called âthe little Yahwehâ and is believed to have once been the human Enoch, one of only two men chosen by God to escape death.

Last month, âOppenheimerâ began its awards season romp with big wins at both the Golden Globe and Critics Choice ceremonies. Its next big test will be at the upcoming BAFTA Awards on February 18. Thatâs just four days after Valentineâs Day. And Universal Picturesâ âOppenheimerâ will still be feeling the love.
Here are five reasons why it is 100% unbeatable in the BAFTA race for Best Film.
1. Itâs the undisputed Academy Award frontrunner. BAFTA has unfortunately turned into just another awards show that seems determined to predict the eventual Oscar winner for Best Picture. Ironically, thatâs meant rewarding films that ultimately went on to lose the top Academy Award â like 2014âs âBoyhood,â 2015âs âThe Revenant,â 2016âs âLa La Land,â 2017âs âThree Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,â 2018âs âRoma,â 2019âs â1917â and 2021âs âThe Power of the Dog.â You have to wonder if they finally surrendered last year when the German underdog âAll Quiet on the Western Frontâ won the battle over the inevitable Oscar victor âEverything Everywhere All at Once.â This year, the stars in the motion picture multiverse seem universally aligned behind âOppenheimer.â That bodes well for its BAFTA prospects.
2. Its 13 BAFTA nominations indicate broad support. Just like at the Oscars, it contends in a dozen-plus-one lucky categories. It didnât miss anywhere. Furthermore, itâs expected to take home a number of those trophies. Some are above-the-line (Christopher Nolan for Best Director, Cillian Murphy for Best Actor and Robert Downey Jr. for Best Supporting Actor). Others are below-the-line (Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing and Best Sound, to name a few). Unless âOppenheimerâ seriously underperforms in its BAFTA bids, itâs hard to see it falter in its quest for Best Film.
3. Itâs a UK-US production, but might as well be completely British. While the people and events depicted in âOppenheimerâ are obviously American, many of the names associated with it hail from the British Isles. Nolan and his producing partner and wife Emma Thomas. The Irish Murphy who plays the title role. Emily Blunt who portrays his wife. And additional assorted talents like Kenneth Branagh, Tom Conti, Florence Pugh and Gary Oldman. For most BAFTA members, voting for âOppenheimerâ will practically be a patriotic act.
4. Best Film and Director have generally been matching at BAFTA in recent years. As the Picture/Director split has grown more common at the Oscars, it has become a rarer occurrence at the BAFTAs. In the past decade, eight of the 10 films that claimed Best Film also earned honors for directing. (The exceptions were for 2013âs â12 Years a Slaveâ and 2017âs âThree Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri.â Directing prizes went to Alfonso Cuaron for âGravityâ and Guillermo del Toro for âThe Shape of Waterâ in those respective contests.) With Nolan being a jumbo lock for Best Director at BAFTA, we have to view âOppenheimerâ as being the clear favorite for Best Film.
5. Thereâs simply no film that can take it down. âKillers of the Flower Moonâ failed to score a Best Director nomination for Martin Scorsese and a Best Actress bid for Lily Gladstone, suggesting that BAFTA members arenât exactly over-the-moon about the movie. Similarly, âPoor Thingsâ was robbed of a Best Director spot for Yorgos Lanthimos as well as Best Supporting Actor citations for Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo. That makes âPoor Thingsâ a pretty poor threat. âAnatomy of a Fallâ is likely to rise in other areas â like Best Non-English Film, Best Original Screenplay and perhaps even Sandra Huller for Best Actress. And as for âThe Holdoversâ â donât hold your breath. That leaves âOppenheimerâ the last film standing â blasting away at BAFTA before continuing on a collision course with Oscar.'
