Better known as Rygar in the West, this Master System version is almost unknown outside of Japan. Even I didn't realize there was a version for the Master System. It's good news for those who like to reminisce about the good old Nintendo VS Sega days because this version is much better than the NES version. Tough as nail mind you! Made by Tecmo, the only 3rd party Master System games maker in Japan plus they only had two titles on these silver cartridges.

So, what is this Salio thing on the box? Well, Salio was actually a dummy company created by Tecmo so they could circumvent Nintendo's exclusivity policy on third-party publishers and release games on competing platforms without repercussion. Salio's mailing address was actually the location of Tecmo's original headquarters (back when they were known as Tehkan Ltd.), which was located in the Azumabashi district of Sumida, Tokyo (the actual Tecmo had already moved to Chiyoda in 1985).

Argos no Juujiken is no easy find title so don't be expecting to pick this one up cheap.
