There was this drawing I began almost a year ago that got thrown to the side due to various projects that came up. Projects are still coming but the time I took to complete Unky is going towards finishing this beast of an illustration. Trying to have it completed and ready for Oak City Comic Con in March. This is a detail of a much larger piece. Any guesses as to who the main character is (in the drawing)? Hint: Dunsen doesn't appear in the show, but that's my take of him in the top right. Here’s something I don’t do often enough - sharing the rough comp for a new illustration. Yeah - I am critical of that Justice League movie, but that doesn’t mean I have anything against the JL in general. This is designed to include a few of those JL members omitted from the movie, and being based on their previous incarnations (Ciara Renee and Ryan Reynolds will be used as reference points for Hawkgirl and Green Lantern). Be mindful that this is a rough, so yes, Batman looks goofy. Just trying to figure everyone’s placement. As usual, I have my own ideas and criticisms (not happy with Superman’s outstretched arm), but I am open to suggestions.
