Important PSA for AWAE fans

Here’s the deal fellow AWAE fans. The way that Netflix measures views is by “household” or in other words they measure views by account. Which means that if your family shares a password for 1 Netflix account and multiple family members watch Anne With An E at separate times, they only count all your views as one view.

When season 3 comes out on Netflix, we should all start a free trial or something in order to watch AWAE and then cancel it right after you’ve watched it. If they ask for a reason that we’re cancelling the free trial, then we can put the reason as “Anne With An E being cancelled.” Also you can watch it on your main Netflix account (you know.... double the views) :)

To all my fellow Anne With An E fans

I think a good way to get another season of AWAE would be to follow Veronica Mars' model. In 2014, The creator of VM set up a GoFundMe page with the proposition that they would make a movie if they got a certain amount of money.... it was a hugely successful campaign.

I would personally be willing to give to something like that, if CBC and Northwood Entertainment were to set one up and guarantee us a new season with or without Netflix.

My idea is that we should all flood CBC and Northwood Entertainment's twitter with that proposition. Also using the usual hashtags. Not only would that be a good way to get another season, but it would also help the hashtags trend again. I've already tweeted about it, but they may take the idea more seriously if 1000s of us tweet about it.

And who knows CBC may be so touched by the overwhelming offer that they may renew without setting up a GoFundMe. :)

From the AWAE fandom to the Andi Mack fandom, speaking as a member of both

I remember what it was like when, mere months ago, we were fighting for Andi Mack to get a fourth season. I remember the paper cranes and the tweets and the angry letters. I was part of it too. I'm still upset about losing that fight.

But now the same war is being fought in another fandom I'm part of. Once again a show near and dear to my heart was mercilessly cancelled after an eventful third season. A show dealing with important issues that existed in the time it takes place and still exist now. A show written by a woman with a predominantly female crew, adapting a book series written by a woman. The cancellation was announced suddenly after the season finale and said finale was obviously written with the expectation of at least one more season. We were robbed. Moira Walley- Beckett was robbed of the proper finale she must have wanted to write.

Please help us out in our fight. Many of you might still be bitter about not getting Andi Mack S4, but I beg of you to help us get one for Anne with an E. We're having a trending party on twitter in 5 minutes using the tags #renewannewithane and #awaeseason4. Join us if you want, or help us in some other way to draw the attention of those whom it depends on that we get another season.

I, a member of the Andi Mack fandom as well as the AWAE fandom, ask you to do us this favour because I believe that, in a way, our fates are really similar. Please help out your brothers and sisters and nb siblings who are fighting the same fight now as you were earlier this year.
