Eva Marcille Sterling (née Pigford; October 30, 1984) is an actress, fashion model, and television personality. She started her career by winning the third cycle of America’s Next Top Model.
She was born in Los Angeles. She attended Clark Atlanta University, she left the school shortly after winning the third season of America’s Next Top Model at the age of 19. She married attorney Michael Sterling (2018), and the couple has two sons.
She has appeared on the cover of Brides Noir, Women’s Health and Fitness (May 2005), King (June 2005), IONA (November 2005), and Essence. Her other modeling credits include CoverGirl, DKNY, Samsung, Red by Marc Ecko, Jewel, In Touch Weekly (June 2005), King (November 2005), WeTheUrban, IONA, UNleashed, Star Magazine, Elle, Elle Girl, Apple Bottoms, Lerner Catalog, Avon Campaign 4 and Rolling Out.
She has guest-starred on several series on several Television shows. Her guest-star credits include two episodes of Kevin Hill, one episode of Smallville, one episode of Everybody Hates Chris, and one episode of The Game. She has appeared in Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.
She joined Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta as a friend of Nene Leakes and was promoted to a full-time cast member in 2018 for Season 11. She departed the series after two seasons in 2020. She is currently cast in All The Queen’s Men and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

Correspondance (San Francisco). « En 2018, nous avons assisté à une montée en puissance spectaculaire de l’analyse de données. Notre objectif est désormais de démocratiser son usage » a précisé Sudhir Hasbe, director of product management chez Google Cloud, lors de l’événement Google Cloud Next.
L’entreprise a annoncé plusieurs fonctionnalités nouvelles pour son offre d’analyse de données. Cloud Data Catalog, bientôt disponible en version bêta, doit permettre aux clients d’extraire plus facilement du sens de leurs données et de faciliter la gouvernance. Un nouveau service intégré au service d’analyse de données BigQuery, baptisé BigQuery ML, permettra également aux entreprises de déployer plus facilement des modèles d’apprentissage machine. Enfin, AI Platform, disponible en version bêta, aidera les équipes de développeurs à préparer, élaborer, et gérer des projets d’apprentissage machine via une interface partagée, dans le cloud ou sur site.
L’IA au service d’applications concrètes
D’autres outils visent à faciliter le déploiement de solutions mobilisant l’intelligence artificielle pour des applications commerciales concrètes. « De nombreuses entreprises qui s’intéressent à l’intelligence artificielle ne dépassent jamais le stade de la preuve de concept, notre objectif est de leur permettre d’utiliser immédiatement l’intelligence artificielle » a affirmé Andrew Moore, à la tête de Google Cloud AI. Dans cette optique, Google a annoncé la mise en place d’une série d’outils permettant de prendre en charge des problèmes qui font partie du quotidien de nombreuses entreprises.
Document Understand AI, disponible en version bêta, vise à permettre aux clients d’extraire, classifier et enrichir les données issues des documents scannés ou digitaux, transformant ces derniers en données brutes, immédiatement mobilisables. Contact Center AI, également disponible en version bêta, mobilise chatbots et assistants vocaux pour améliorer le service client. Enfin, Google Cloud for retail vise à appliquer l’IA aux problématiques spécifiques du commerce de détail, avec par exemple la possibilité de donner des recommandations personnalisées à chaque client, ou encore, pour ce dernier, de prendre un produit en photo et d’accéder automatiquement à des recommandations de produits similaires sur l’application du commerçant.
Collaboration & cybersécurité
Outre ses annonces autour de l’IA, Google a également dévoilé un certain nombre de mises à jour pour son service de collaboration G Suite. L’assistant Google est ainsi en cours d’intégration au service, et notamment à l’agenda. Il est ainsi possible d’effectuer une requête à l’aide de la voix pour demander un récapitulatif de son agenda du jour, ou prévenir les autres participants que l’on aura cinq minutes de retard. Le service de téléphonie dans le cloud Voice est également rendu accessible pour les clients G Suite. Il confère à chacun un numéro de téléphone qui fonctionne de n’importe où et sur n’importe quel terminal. Le service de chat professionnel et collaboratif Hangout Chat est désormais intégré à Gmail. Enfin, l’entreprise a également annoncé des mises à jour pour son service Cloud Search. Lancé il y a deux ans, celui-ci vise à mobiliser l’expertise de Google pour chercher l’information au sein de l’entreprise. Cloud Search est désormais étendu aux tierces parties, comme SAP ou Salesforce, pour permettre d’étendre la recherche à leurs données. Enfin, dans un contexte marqué par une multiplication des scandales autour de la confidentialité des données et une défiance croissante du public vis-à-vis des grandes entreprises des nouvelles technologies en la matière, Google a aussi, logiquement, mis l’accent sur la sécurité de ses produits. « Nous voulons que la sécurité soit un facteur clef de différenciation en faveur de Google Cloud », a affirmé Jennifer Lin, engineer director chez Google. Une série de nouvelles fonctionnalités visant à accroître la visibilité dans les environnements, détecter les menaces, accélérer la réaction et la résolution des problèmes, atténuer les risques d’exfiltration de données, assurer la sécurité de la chaîne logistique et renforcer la politique de conformité ont ainsi été annoncées. Dès maintenant, les téléphones fonctionnant sous Android 7+ peuvent enfin être utilisés comme clef de sécurité pour protéger à la fois les comptes Google personnels et les comptes Google Cloud professionnels.

En début de semaine, Google a annoncé Cloud Run, un service de cloud computing serverless qui permet d'éliminer la nécessité de configurer les serveurs avant de développer et de publier du code sur une plateforme de cloud computing. Par ailleurs, Google a profité de la conférence pour annoncer l'intégration de l’Assistant Google dans sa suite bureautique G Suite, avec l’application Agenda (Calendrier). Les utilisateurs pourront ainsi interroger l’assistant vocal pour connaître leur emploi du temps qu’ils soient chez eux, en déplacement ou au travail. Hangouts Meet reçoit aussi la possibilité d'activer des sous-titres automatiques pendant les réunions vidéo, la diffusion publique en streaming pour des participants n’appartenant pas à une entreprise (à venir) et la possibilité d’accueillir un plus grand nombre de participants. Autre nouveauté importante, la possibilité d’éditer des documents Office dans Google Docs, Sheets et Slides sans avoir à les convertir. Enfin, la fonction G Suite Add-Ons va permettre aux utilisateurs de basculer entre des applications métier tierces telles que Box, Copper et Workfront sans quitter G Suite (version beta à venir).
