Hi! I just wanted to say I love your fic Wild Roses! I hope you’re taking a break from writing and haven’t abandoned your amazing work. I do have a question though, does Dimitri and Edelgard subconsciously remember crimson flower/scarlet blaze timeline or azure moon/azure gleam timeline? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to due to posible spoilers. Thank you for your time & I hope I haven’t bothered you too much.

Hi oh my god thank you so much for this wonderful ask !! Never ever think that you’re bothering me when asking about my fics because I love yapping about them so incredibly much, and thank you for the kind words about Wild Roses ! Don’t worry, I’m definitely still working on it, I’ve just gotten distracted by other WIPs and life in general haha but I will do my best to put the next chapter out as soon as I can !

To answer your question, they don’t ! I intended for the WR verse to be entirely separate from canon. Chapter 1 and 2 have fun little callbacks in Dimi and El’s dreams, but I just thought it might be a fun way to poke at the multiple universes thing

“You know how I am!” Dimitri pulled his blankets tighter around his body, and Sylvain had to stifle a laugh. He knew exactly what Dimitri was like when he got pouty, and he could just see Dimitri’s pouting face in his mind’s eye.

“Well then, that’s rough, buddy.”

Finally Dimitri rolled over, turning to face Sylvain. “What?”

“That’s rough, buddy,” Sylvain repeated, and laughed at the incredulous look on Dimitri’s face. “Oh, come on, Your Highness! You don’t think—”

“Dimitri,” Dimitri corrected, face softening with affection. “Just Dimitri. Please.” There was a moment of silence, and then Sylvain saw Dimitri take in a deep breath. “...I missed this.” Dimitri’s voice was soft and barely audible.

Sylvain reached out, taking the hand hanging over the edge of Dimitri’s bed. Dimitri gripped his hand tightly, just the way he used to when he had a nightmare and Sylvain was the only person there to comfort him. Sylvain rested his chin on the edge of the bed, staring back at Dimitri with a soft smile on both of their faces.

“Yeah... me too, Dimitri.”

💙 - Ced/Tine. My younger self didn’t seem to understand that an 18/13 pairing is pretty gross, so I liked it quite a bit back then. Right now, I’m much more inclined to an older variant of their relationship, perhaps once Tine and Ced have both settled into their positions and are both, you know, legal.

😑 - In terms of FE16, I’m inclined to say Felix/Sylvain. I can see how it’s so incredibly popular and why it appeals to so many people, but I S-supported Felix so I’m biased towards Bylix, I suppose.

The question came amidst a sunny day, spent beneath the shadow of a tree. Julius hadn’t moved since over an hour ago, simply content to watch Altena lead her wyvern about the large field in hopes that one spot amongst the flowers might placate the large beast. It really did act like a large cat at times.

Julius shook his head, smiling up at her. “No. It’s nothing.” But his gaze drifted to her stomach, where a little bump was beginning to show.

Altena must have seen the emotions in his eyes, swirling and unsure, because she sat down beside him and drew him into her arms. “What’s the matter, love?” she repeated, her voice low and soothing.

Julius nestled his nose against her cheek after a moment, sighing. “It’s just…” He trailed off, reaching his hand out to rest on her stomach. Altena hugged him tighter, kissing his cheek.

“It’ll be okay,” she promised. “I love you so much.”

“Me too,” he murmured, turning to kiss her properly. “I love you so much.”

And for once, all that matters is them, the two of them and their little one.

In the Moonlight and Shadow

Ooh maybe a Julius & Julia sibling story?

For this it would definitely be pre-canon. Julia notices that Julius seems to like staying in the shadows during the night, even though most kids are deathly afraid of shadows because of “monsters from fairy tales” and such. This leads to her questioning him why, and he says some pure answer like he wants to protect them from the shadows so he walks in them and then cut to a scene where he’s basically being “consumed by shadow” via the Loptyr tome. Cue symbolic scene of Naga = moonlight and Loptyr = shadow

Hmmm okay I’m kind of getting FE8 Knoll/Lyon vibes or FE10 Ike/Soren vibes

For Knoll/Lyon it would probably be pre-canon, examining how Knoll and Lyon worked super hard to use the Sacred Stone for good and how they begin to fall in love, leading to Knoll being too blinded by his love of Lyon to realize the “hell” that Lyon is planning to bring to life before it’s too late

For Ike/Soren it would definitely be a Soren character study and examining how his developing friendship and eventual relationship with Ike changes how he sees and presents himself, spanning between pre- and post-canon

There is a story where Corrin chooses Nohr. This story, in contrast, is rather complex; in both motives and love. They take the Hoshidan throne, only to dethrone their own father and king. Corrin promises herself to another man. No one will ever know of the hidden feelings she had for the second Hoshidan prince.

And then, there is a story where Corrin chooses neither one. This story is where it stops, for this is the story where many find the most enjoyment. Everyone is united for the same cause, and they live as freely as they wish.

Corrin smiled and shut the storybook. It was funny, how different people saw her destiny. Yet, there was always someone there, whether they knew it or not.

“All my choices lead me to you,” she murmured, resting her cheek in her hand and staring over the table at the man across from her. He flushed.

“Don’t say those kinds of things,” he huffed. She just giggled.

- I’ve been replaying FE7 (obviously) and I have??? Many emotions that I didn’t ask for???? Most of them are Heath/Priscilla or HecLyn related, but also some are Nils-related (???) which is weird since I’ve never felt this emotionally connected to him but uhhh I guess that’s what happens when you can relate to all his emotions

- Headcanon (more like current WIP) that Heath and Priscilla end up running away to Ilia like a year before FE6 and just are happy

- Also headcanon that their son is named Kasper based off the song “Kasper” by Sea Wolf

- In case you couldn’t tell I’m going through a Sea Wolf phase please go listen to Old World Romance it’s amazing

(I’m also very sorry you’re getting so much Heath/Priscilla I’m just. I have so many emotions that have been stewing inside me and I guess the universe just wanted me to release them via replaying FE7)

I have a headcanon for Tressa and H’aanit where if Tressa sees a creature that H’aanit tamed who is larger than her, she immediately tries to get on the back of that creature and get a free ride around. Can you turn that into a story?
