Hi! I hope you are doing well! For Wild Roses, I was wondering if you based Manfred off of Arvis? I don't know why but that was the vibe I was getting. They both are ambitious with hidden agendas and questionable methods. I also just found out that Manfred and Manfroy's names come from the same name in the etymology of demonology. You learn something new everyday. Anyway, I hope you're taking a well deserved break! Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi thanks so much for your question and your kind words !! I didn’t base Manfred off of either Arvis or Manfroy, but I could see how you would think that based off of the name and attitude similarities ! I’ve actually been picturing Manfred von Karma from Ace Attorney this whole time when I write him, and I think if you know what von Karma is like, that influence is VERY easy to spot lol

Also ! Big updates to Wild Roses coming tomorrow so I hope you’re as excited as I am for that !! Thanks for sending in an ask, I love yapping about this fic
