New Chapters and Old Comforts . . . Today I enjoyed a trip with one of my good friends to one of my old haunts. I did brunch and went to Greenwich as I used to always do on the weekends with my uni friend before we are all spread out around London. It was nice to enjoy some time in the beginnings of what felt like the spring sunshine. There was plenty of talk about what’s going on in the world right now. I have friends from all over the world and their safety and the safety of their family is always something I think about. I think that it’s important in times of uncertainty to try and see normality as a goal to achieve. Reach out to your friends and people that matter. Do things that you enjoy doing and limit yourself to the amount of news you consume every day. For me, I’m looking to the future and looking forward to an interesting and productive week. I have some exciting things happening and I’m also looking forward to seeing some more plays this month. Help where you can, speak up for the people who can’t. But always remember that it’s important to take time out for your mental health as well. Your mental health matters.
