I've been seeing new years goals and things, its all "get meaner", "care less", "survive", "adopt a fuck boy like persona", "care less", "a 'fuck men' sterotype", "not care about others opinions" and its kinda repeative? my goals for what I want to be this year are respect myself more, but soft. I won't be needlessly mean in the name of 'respecting' myself, I want to be a kind person, but still a person who loves instead of saying they don't care. I'm going to write poem after poem after poem until I'm drowning in it, about mundane things in the find the beauty in the moss on the trees, I'm going to see the love in the stars and light in my friends eyes as i tell a joke, I'm going to do art for pleasure, I'm going to make myself things, I'm going to hang out with people, I'm going to be better at taking care of myself, I'm going to teach myself how to drive, I'm going to love and cry and everything inbetween, I'm going to finish my book, and I'll finish this year coming out better than I've ever been. why would i want to be mean? why would i want to care less about people? the world doesn't need that
