Can someone please explain to me what the enforcers Do. Like I was under the impression that they were the police force. So why the hell were they fighting in the war? Does Piltover not have an army? Are their police force and their military the same thing? Are you telling me each individual enforcer is trained both in police/investigative procedure AS WELL AS military tactics and strategy? 1) how the fuck do they have the time to invest THAT MUCH into each enforcer. 2) how fucking long is the training, especially considering how quickly Caitlyn joined the force 3) are you telling me the chief of police and the army general are the same thing? Are you telling me MARCUS was a trained tactician? A GENERAL?

Even if you argue they're all incompetent- are you telling me the Councilors were willingly paying what was probably exorbitant amounts of money to have a WEAK and ILL-TRAINED MILITARY? it's one thing for them to poorly train a bunch of cops, and maybe even carelessly allow a bunch of barely trained, "mindless gruntwork" soldiers- but eventually, the more they rise into the ranks, the more they'll have to scrutinize their skill. Are you saying their enforcers are structured like a standing army? Are you saying those pompous fucks wouldn't care if their military was actually capable of protecting them or not? How have they never been invaded before? How are they still around?!

AUGH alright so this one is less set in stone and more of just making a purah fic so theres more out in the sea if that makes sense? though the general idea was inspired by nanas dialogue about the sheikah slate and apparently training under purah, as well as the townsfolk in hateno Knowing purah and mentioning being worried about her when carrying the blue flame and talking to them. a fic of purah just moving in and snippets of her settling in and interacting/meeting the townsfolk, as well as symin and jerrin (jerrin trained under purah and was sent to robbie by impa!) just. lots of unexplored potential that i think would be neat to see.

I want to step up to the firing line with my truest and closest friends and fight with all I have, knowing f I fall, my brothers and friends will carry the flag forward and honor me after I'm gone. Is that so much to ask?

So I have been playing fallout 3 recently when I found an old disc of it that was backwards compatible with the Xbox 1. I have a question, why is the combat knife with the tunnel snakes jacket op? Because I helped the brother hood of steel kill a large number of super mutants with a combat knife, and when the enclave invaded I think the Washington monument I killed two of their soldier who were wearing power armor with a combat knife. It makes no sense that a knife wielding vault dweller wearing a leather jacket could stab through power armor to kill military trained soldier. If this is possible then what’s stopping a large group of raiders destroying the enclave with nothing but combat knives?

TLDR enclave can be stabbed to death easily and that doesn’t make sense

i never understood the north american and generally western obsession with zombies and apocalypses and post apocalypse wasteland stories. they're often pessimistic, but even when they're not — the forced scarcity and societal collapse is only a fun fantasy if your country hasn't been through it in the last ~30 years. oooh, how will we deal without water, ooooh, what will we cook without power, oooooh what do we do without groceries in supermarkets, will we have to grow our own food or (gasp) forage for edible items?... my parents were forced to do that in the 90s. it's only an edgy suicidal wish fulfilment fantasy for YOU

it's pretty good anime (not counting after the 103rd episode) and people should watch it or read the manga

like, I grew up on it, and even though any time I rewatch it now I mildly cringe at times, it's still really good
