The room be brought the young man to was his office. A rarely used room. Tony didn’t use it but for these sorts of situations. No one expected the head of the company to actually run it, that’s what he paid people for, so this room was safe for these talks. A sigh leaves the man as Billy explains. More so replies in a rather snippy way. He leans against the solid wood desk, perched on the edge as he pinches the bridge of his nose. “A nobody with a goal and determination.” He would mutter. Some things would need to fixed, updated, fortified. Work upon work. With Cap baring down on him and having to make sure this young hero doesn’t do something stupid all between normal work for the company and himself, the billionaire was tired. Maybe a bit on edge. “Too much?” He would reply, looking to the young magic user. His talk of too much on his plate clearly striking a nerve. “Do we need to remove something from your plate? Are we stretching you too thin here with the occasional ask for assistance?” He can’t understand what the young man is going through, but he clearly hasn’t tried. He is tired, frustrated, not seeing things clearly. There’s the stale scent of alcohol on him as well which clearly isn’t helping.

Another sigh burst from the young man -- more frustrated, and a hand went up to comb the forelock back from his eyes. "Tony -- "

The sarcasm was nothing unusual, nothing new, but it grated on him more than he cared to admit. "I forgot -- you probably don't know about it. I just got back from a world tour of possible realities, chasing an interdimensional parasite with my -- with Teddy's mom's face." The catch in his throat was clear, and he had to clear his throat to chase it away.

He shifted, moving to lean against one plateglass wall, looking out at the city. "Since then I've been working with Stephen. You said yourself once, we have no idea what I'm capable of -- well, I just got a taste of it, and I'm --"

Terrified.

Billy looked up, one side of his mouth pulling in a small smile. "Between all that, and Tommy and college... A guy's got to sleep sometime. All I'm asking is to be put on the reserves for now. A 'call me if the world's ending or if somebody's trying to kill Wanda again' list. Deal?"

Homelander chews on his bottom lip, shaking his head. it was a bad idea to pick humanity over making a deal with this alien neighbors. who cared anyway?! this people going to complain about everything, you save them, they still want more and more from you until you find out there's no space left for 'but what about what I want?!' "Tony.. anything happens today, you're to blame, you understand?" he combs fingers through his hair, looking at the battlefield which is more of a massacre than 'defending earth' "it still isn't too late to change your side.. please.." eyebrows arching with worry when his blue eyes meet Tony again "we can still call it off, calling everyone back and maybe this way we can save more lives." There are screams for help and explosion sounds everywhere. someone somewhere is yelling "I can't see Hawkeye! somebody help!"

A hollow laugh leaves him. "Grow up? Me grow up?" Another few sharp sounds leave him and he seems to think he is either joking or maybe humoring him. "You do what is basically over complicated card tricks, maybe you're the one who should grow up." Clearly not amused with the man, clearly not in the mood to get in an argument but isn't going to back down.

Stephen cocks an eyebrow at the Tony glancing out of the side of his eye at him "it may be over complicated card tricks but it keeps all the baddies from other dimensions from taking us to what might be hell." He chuckles bitterly "And as for growing up, i did that the day of the accident that gave me all the nerve damage. That's why i chose to do the over rated card tricks. i couldn't do much else with hands that shake all the time." Stephen then looks at Tony "Listen, i really don't want to fight right now even though i started it but i'm not in the mood for it."

"Mr Stark?" Carlos said into it. "It's Dr Ramon - I have some things I'd like to run by you, if you have the chance."

"I don't know if clever is the right word for it," Charles said, throwing a glance at his old friend. How Tony managed to track him down after all this time, he still wasn't sure, but he had promised M'gann he'd at least try to put himself out there. Might as well start with a familiar face.

Charles sat back a bit, mildly scratching his arm--a nervous habit he'd picked up over the years. Then of course, he caught himself doing it, stilled his hand, and masked the behavior with a shrug.

"Honestly, it...it's just martian technology," he said, donning a casual smile he didn't quite feel. He held up the slender remote with his free hand, and a touch of amusement finally reached his eyes. "Don't tell me the great Tony Stark hasn't dealt with the extraterrestrial. I thought you'd be terra-forming on the moon by now."

He's heard it all before -- from Tony before -- but it never fails to get under his skin. All he'd ever heard from Tony was criticism, constant reprimands for doing exactly the thing Tony had been doing for decades, but he supposed because he was young and because Tony felt responsible that made the billionaire feel like he had some kind of say in Billy's affairs.

He wished people would stop telling him what he was doing wrong and offer something helpful for a change.

"No theatrics," he said at length, tucking his hands in his pockets with a deep sigh that broadcasted how much effort he was expending to contain his snappy comebacks. "Just -- I've got too much going on to worry about my Identicard going off because some nobody is trying to steal tech from your company. Really, Tony? Unicorn?"

Loki was dressed in a tight green crop top, black skinny jeans, and black boots.  He had grabbed a black leather jacket to go over, and wore a simply jade necklace.  He was actually dressed in human clothing for once as it was his first real day out of the tower, or a day without an agent following him everywhere.  Tony didn’t count, he was less annoying than any agent was.  Loki stood waiting outside of his door, wondering when Tony might be ready.

There was a dumbfounded look on his face, if his face could be seen beyond the metal mask over it. “Of course it hurts to be shot!” He speaks loudly, the words leaving him but not fully sinking in before he looks to the man finally. The metal sliding from his face to look at the magical being. “DID YOU GET SHOT?” The fight could be cleaned up by someone else as it seemed they were nearly done, right now he was a bit more concerned that the man who used magic circles to fight is going to bleed out from a stray bullet.

"Yes, i got shot Tony. i don't go around yelling that something hurts unless i've experienced it." Stephen then shows the other man his side where a rapidly spreading stain is located. "i think they might have gotten me in a way that i'm going to need the tower's medical people to look at it Tony." He then turns back to Tony and cocks an eyebrow at him "i'm starting to feel a little light headed and no, i can't heal myself." Stephen chuckles then presses his hand to the wound as hard as he can putting on as much pressure as he can stand.

True true. Stane was cold and methodical as hell. Hes probably my favorite bad guy in MCU for being such a bastard but that like fake bitch kind of bad guy too. (and hes fine as hell tbh) Have you seen the deleted scene where he gets Tony to reach for him to save his life but than instead tries to drag Tony down with him to his death? What a bastard he is. Amazing. Im both glad hes dead and disappointed he couldnt be a reacquiring villain.(he really couldnt pull that off tho I suppose.)

Loki was a different kind of cold I suppose. I think the best he was as a villain was that moment after Thor failed to pick up his hammer. Telling him that Odin was dead and the stress that Thor caused him is what killed Odin and saying their mother wanted nothing to do with him. That look in Thors eyes...

Again the first Thor movie is just like a retelling of Iron Man just IN SPAAACE(sometimes and sometimes on Earth)~
