Welcome to my Page!

Hello! I go by Luna online and I am excited to share with you what I have been working on for the past few months. As stated in my bio I will be writing DC and Marvel fanfiction stories/series. In these stories, the original character I created will be the main character. The first series that I will be posting will be a DC fanfiction series from a television series a lot of us watched as a kid. Please be on the lookout for the series description for I will be posting it later this week!

Now onto why I created this page and decided to write my own fanfiction. As someone who loves to read, I would always be searching for new fanfiction whether it was DC, Marvel, or anime-related. I, however, noticed that I could not relate to a lot of the main characters for various reasons. For one I don't have blonde straight hair, nor do I have blue eyes, or "white" skin (Yes, this is general but I do see these descriptions a lot). I am a brown girl with curly hair and brown eyes. If anyone tries to run their fingers through my hair, chances are it's probably getting stuck (unless it's within a day or two from wash day). I'm not saying there aren't readers who match those descriptions but for me and maybe other brown readers, it can be hard to relate. Which is why I decided to create this page so that I can provide content that some of us can relate to. To provide characters where some of us can say "Hey, I kinda relate or look like that person". Have you ever heard of the phrase "If you want something done, do it yourself". That's exactly what I'm doing. Now I know people have created stories with characters who are brown but to me, there are just not enough. Hence the creation of this page.

So, I've discovered Miraculous character maker by @ididntseeyoucomein and had so much fun with it! I used it to create my Miraculous OC. She doesn't look exactly like I imagine her, because I couldn't accurately recreate her costume and hair with this maker, but I'll still like how she turned out.

This is my Ladybug Miraculous holder from my Avengers Assemble crossover AU, that I have in my head. Her superhero name is Ladyluck, and she is Polish living in New Jork. As a superhero she looks a bit intimidating with her red eyes with black sclerae, but is optimistic, friendly and always wears a smile on her face. But it's only a facade to hide her identity. In reality she is gloomy, has a paranoia that someone will discover her identity, and is full of barely contained anger on evil Butterfly Miraculous user, who terrorizes New Jork. The Ladyluck at some point joins the Avengers team (but does everything she can to keep her identity a secret), and becomes a bodyguard to Doctor Doom (instead of Captain America) during the action of "The Ambassador" episode. The two of them start as enemies (since Doom has bad blood with Avengers, and also because he wants to get Ladybug Miraculous for himself to use it with Black Cat Miraculous to bring back his dead mother with a wish), but they learn to respect each other and eventually have a secret romance. Ladyluck eventually gets akumatized and there is a lot of drama and destruction, but Doctor Doom with Avengers saves her. I also think that he eventually gets the Black Cat Miraculous at some point, because I'm a sucker for Ladybug/Black Cat Miraculouses holders romance.

I don't know, if Ladyluck would ever use Black Cat Miraculous, but if she did, she could look like this:

Her superhero name would have be Blackfur.

If she would have ever combined Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses, her name would have heen Blackluck. I did my best to mix options in the maker to create her look:

Do the Self Aware Reader's have any powers? (Or at least do the ones with X-Men have any mutations?) I'm so curious. What teamate did Reader use to be to each Self Aware group? Did they enjoy Reader's company? And did any of them have plans to adopt Reader when they were tiny, a.k.a. a child/teen?

For the first question, the X-men gives Darling a mutation that lets Rouge be able to touch the darling and they deage the darling to being like a 7 year old

Third question:

Ultimate Avengers- when they first saw the reader, they shocked at this young child watching them. But soon grew possessive of the young child until when the darling moved and lost the disc

X-men Evolution- Darling was a preemie aka they were born preterm and with the darling having gay parents in the military. It was a rough time. So, the darling’s parents introduced them to X-men Evolution, a child friendly version of the X-men lore. And when the mutants saw them, it felt like to them a piece of their heart was filled and with the Darling constantly watching them show. The got to know them through what they saw of their dressing and room.

Wolverine and the X-men- Darling used to watch them same episode (overflow) over and over again. So they took a notice of it. But when darling was able to watch them whole show, the x-men were happy to show off their world but when the darling stopped. the X-men (plus magneto) tried to fix the world up to be perfect when their darling comes to visit

Earth mightiest heroes- They first take notice of you when you were watching the show with your parents… they were jealous, that should’ve of been them not your parents… but when you started to watch them show again when you turn 18. It occurs to them that they missed so many years and now they are trying to play catch up

Avengers asssemble- you were 9 years old when you started to watch them but soon lose interest but as you got older. You started to play the show in the background to have noise to help you focus and when ever you wonder a question out loud. They would divert form the script to answer your questions

AAA MY FRIEND I AM SOOO GLAD YOU ASKED!!!

I absolutely LOVE Sambucky. It's perhaps one of my favorite marvel ships (aside from the obvious). They're such grumpy husbands and I love them. I always reblog sambucky art because theyre too fucking cute.

As for other Marvel ships, I do have them. Big fan of Peggy x Nat from What If, Agent Carter Universe (I've actually written fic for them I just don't think I've published it), and Peggy x Angela from the Agent Carter Series (if you've seen that series ily). Also I'm a huge sucker for Carol Danvers x Maria Rambeau, AUGh i love them so much. Carol Danvers is my second favorite Marvel character aside from Tony and Steve (i consider them a unit sometimes).

OH YEAH ALSO, my good friend @assignmentimprobable is a big fan of Bruce x Thor and opened my eyes to how cute they are and while I don't normally directly write about them, they're always gonna be in the background of my Stony universe/fics because I love them.

But that was just MCU. As for Spiderverse, I'm a huge Gwen x Miles truther. They're my KIDS!!! I want to see them HAPPY!!! And they're just too damn cute together. Awkward teenagers who are both superheroes who are just happy to be with each other. If Gwiles isn't endgame in the next Spiderverse installment, I'm throwing rocks.

In terms of the AVENGERS ASSEMBLE universe (my favorite show of all time because of how gay Stony is in it), I must admit I ship Clint Barton x Scott Lang (IF YOU SAW THE SHOW YOUD UNDERSTAND).

And as for X-Men... I've been a Cherik shipper since I saw the OG movies. Which should come as no surprise, they're very Stony coded. I love both flavors, the old man yaoi married couple and toxic first divorce mcavoy&fassy. I'm also a huge fan of the Deadpool & Wolverine movie and I love Wadelogan. I also have an oc x canon ship for that universe which is my original character, Kris Corey x Laura Kinney. Massive 2-part fanfic coming out of them soon, although I'm well aware no one cares (except Stevie. Shoutout Stevie).

And in the X-Men 97 universe I must say I love Wolverine and Morph, Disney is doing them dirty by making it all one sided and not nutting up and putting Logan with a nonbinary love interest (although I know it's because the homophobes and transphobes who are the toxic fan bros of the fanbase would piss themselves and cry and throw up. To which I say. FUCKING LET THEM. hrrrgh).

AAAANYWAY is that it?? I'm sure there's more, they're just slipping my mind at the moment. I'm a big fan of Marvel (DUH) and ships (BIGGER DUH) because there's nothing that I like more in this god forsaken universe than Queer Superheroes. They scratch at my brain in a particular way. Something about being Different, and being loved for it instead of hated, and having the power to HELP people on top of that. And also, queer joy. big fan of queer joy on top of metaphors mixed with angst and tragedy. But with a happy ending of course. cause thats how i roll.

Regarding the last ask about Yuu ships sucking...

I feel like people should just be honest if they want to say they like canon x canon ships more or want to see more people making male yuu stuff

Because the medium of the game itself actively encourages people self-inserting through Yuu. These types pf gacha games literally thrive off fanservice (fanservice isnt a necessarily sexual thing btw it can be stuff like characters having a cameo or striking an avengers assemble type pose). It's why its so easy to give them a stand-in in the mangas and novels. They have some mentioned consistent traits like being good at playing wind instruments + being supposedly blunt but that's barely a fully fledged character more like a concept. For the sake of ease of self-inserting that's also why Yuu is sadly barely relevant in the story these days + have super lazy dialogue options now. Their traits barely factor into the story in meaningful ways anymore

A lot of Yuu ships really are just not game yuu but whoever drew/wrote it shipping the character with themselves. So yeah not a surprise that their Yuu ships are flat (sometimes they also specify its just xreader or self-insert in general not Yuu but people will assume it's Yuu at first glance anyway)

So I don't see the point in complaining that "people are ignoring Yuu's personality" when that's more the game's fault than random fans' fault

As for wanting to see more male yuus around... as mentioned Yuu really is intended to be sort of a vessel of projection for fans. And as game in the joisemuke genre its expected most fans will be female, hence the characters they create to represent themselves will also be predominantly female. In the nicest way possible its really just a matter of seeing the player character stuff you want to see yourself, more male yuu or interesting yuu stuff will only exist once other fans finally make them. Yuu content doesn't just randomly generate into existence one day out of thin air

There is also the matter of homophobia in the yume community which sucks and is another factor why most player ships are het. So male yuu representation in the romantic context would matter

^but outside of this shipping purposes I literally never see anyone see Yuu as a girl by default. They're either faceless or a guy in JP fanart (this is when people are trying to draw the most objective game yuu, of course it's different for personal yuu stand-in OCs) This reflects the androcentric view many people have of man as the active protagonist by default while women can only do sappy emotional stuff like romance (also just heteronormative bias)

I've also never really seen a girlboss yuu the way you described it yet I see passive damsel Yuu for the sake of making the romantic fanservice on the dude shine more often

TLDR: Yuu really is meant to be a self-insert and the game is very intentional with the romantic fanservice it drops, and since most fans are women it makes sense that most self-inserts through Yuu are also female characters. These female characters are seemingly dull and personalityless because most fans are not trying to be clever writers, just using that OC as a vehicle to show the canon character of interest in romantic situations. If people want more diversity in existing Yuus they should put their ideas of male and etc. Yuus out there then to also inspire other people making OCs instead of assuming the fandom will generate it on its own like a factory

This got way too long but I basically just wanted to reply on why I think the argument of the previous asker was kind of focusing on the wrong things + ignoring the reasons why things happen through assuming it's just individual people being shallow and stupid for no reason. This is not to say personal yuu fanart or fic can never be criticized or disliked anymore, I think there is a problem of a lot of them being very weird with underage characters. But yeah as mentioned it's kinda just inevitable given the game genre + the creator (who was basically known idol to shotacons) being a huge part of marketing. Ok this is all for real now

Don't have a lot to say here I guess mostly just... My main concern with the male Yuu thing is the predominant nature of Fem!Yuu often leading to harassment towards Male!Yuu makers.

Also the creepy behavior is often something that occurs in the genre, I know, but I do believe it should be called out. Just because something is normalized doesn't mean it's okay, nor does it mean we shouldn't try to change it.

OC NAME: José Rizal or José Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda, can also be called as Rizal; based on the real Filipino author and national hero of the Philippines.

AGE: Mid 20s , around 27-29.

SPECIAL ABILITY: The Social Cancer; the user can control a certain person, whether it's an ability user or not. His ability is like the Matchless Poet, but stronger. He could summon anything by writing in his notebook. So it's a dual ability or some kind. He can also summon fictional characters in his novels he wrote as puppets for fighting. They appear as shadow silhouettes with yellow glowing eyes. Each silhouette has its own ability in fighting. They could appear as Maria Clara and Crisostomo Ibarra. (Based on the characters in Noli me Tangere.)

NATIONALITY: Filipino; his mother is Chinese while his father is Filipino.

OCCUPATION: He is a part of the Special Division for Unusual Powers. He helps Ango in his work.

MORE INFO: Rizal was good friends with Odasaku, he would mostly suggest novel ideas to him. After Oda passed away, he stopped writing for a while and got back. He also likes to eat Filipino cuisine, but he wasn't able to eat them again because he is in another country. So he hasn't gotten back to his hometown. Rizal is also friends with Kunikida, Because he finds him interesting in some way. He's a HEAVY alcoholic, so he could be a really bad drink-mate. IF he drinks heavy alcohol, but he usually drinks whiskey. Rizal's biggest inspiration is his older brother, Paciano Rizal.

VOICE CLAIM: A mix of Clint Barton from Avengers Assemble and Kamisato Ayato from Genshin Impact.

BEAST: Rizal joins the Port Mafia, and because of his crimes in writing "illegal" novels, he went home and died by not once, but twice gunshots back at his hometown in the Philippines. (A reference to his actual execution in Bagumbayan, 1896.)

Bearing Hope's Sword has been answered here! Oh boy I am so so excited about Thawed Hearts :D I've written a decent chunk of chapter 2 already and I'm hoping to have it out sometime next month!! It's centered on Steve getting to the Institute so it's more of a transition chapter than anything else, but it's got a lot of sweet moments that I like :) Here are a couple lines as a teaser!

“...and I’ve been here ever since.” He ended the tale. “The kids are a pain in my ass on the best of days, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything. They’re brilliant, I mean, you met Kitty; that girl’s gonna change the world, and I’m here to make sure nothing can kill her before she does. They’re all like that, in their own ways. Most of the older ones don’t really need me anymore—hell, Scott and Jean are practically teachers at this point—but, well, watching them all grow up has been pretty special and I guess I’ve gotten attached.”

Steve smiled at him, his face radiating soft adoration. “I never expected you to be the parental type.”

Logan scoffed. “Didn’t I just say they were a pain in my ass?”

“Oh sure, right before you gushed about how they were brilliant and you’d gotten attached.”

- The defection fic is part of my very in-depth Avengers Assemble 'verse that unfortunately I haven't finished and posted any of the good stuff from yet. As the name implies it's about Nat's defection from the Red Room and is mostly focused on her relationships with Clint, other SHIELD members, and various Red Room OCs (including Tanya, who is the POV character in this little fic!) Also I'm going to do it as a comic, which is fun and exciting!! It was originally supposed to be prose, but then I realized that having visuals would make my life a lot easier, and also be easier to motivate myself for. I want it to be structured like a proper comic miniseries, so 4 issues and about 20 pages per issue, but we'll see how closely I end up sticking to that :) Unfortunately I have no snippets to share since everything is in boring script format right now, but here's an old sketch I did of Nat and Tanya as kids instead!
