Marsha sat at a table located by a window at Pizza Sassy's. She was there to pick up her usual order, reading a book as she waited. Autumn, who was on a leash, was curled up against Marsha's chair as she waited with her.

As they waited, Marsha heard to door open as she saw an anthromophic popsicle come in with a smaller anthromorphic popsicle. Based on what she was hearing, the larger popsicle was the father to the small popsicle. Marsha stuck her nose into her book as she could hear the pair laughing and having fun together as they were picking up their order.

All of the sound around her slowly began to be drowned out as she became alone with her thoughts. She couldn't stand to see good dads out there. Did they even exist? It wasn't fair, you know? There are children out there who had good dads. Dads who always made time for them. Dads who cared about their interests. Dads who didn't try to force them into their line of work. Dads who didn't lash out at them when they were in a bad mood. It...wasn't fair. Why were there people out there who had wonderful childhoods? Why could she have-?!

"Uh...a large sausage pizza, a large pizza with black olives and a 2 liter of root beer for Marsha Abadeer?"

The voice of one of Pizza Sassy's employees gets Marsha out of her downward spiral. She looks around before noticing that Autumn has stood up and now has her head in Marsha's lap. After giving Autumn a quick pat on the head, she gets up, gets her order, and leaves Pizza Sassy's before returning home.

[  📖  ]  ❝Me?  I'm…I'm  fine…❞  Marsha  says,  turning  her  head  as  if  she  was  looking  for  something.  Marsha  didn't  want  to  be  on  the  streets  for  too  long.  Makes  it  easier  for  her  to  be  found.  Compared  to  Marsha,  Autumn  was  very  happy  as  she  enjoyed  the  pets.

"Are you alright?" Talia asked concerned, she wasn't sure why the other seemed so anxious, maybe she was just shy? Talia kept petting Autumn, giving her scritches behind the ears.

[  📖  ]  While  Marsha  can  admit  that  she's  not  a  nice  person  most  of  the  time,  one  of  her  good  qualities  was  her  love  for  animals.  And  Autumn  was  one  of  her  favorite  pets.  Autumn  wagged  her  tail  as  Comet  continued  to  pet  her.  Autumn  loved  to  be  pet,  especially  behind  the  ears.  Autumn  leaned  in  as  Comet  scratched  behind  her  ears,  obviously  enjoying  the  pets.  ❝Her  name'  s  Autumn,❞  Marsha  responded.

It was really quite bold of Comet to approach Marsha, since he typically did his best to stay out of the view of humans or those who could be mistaken as such; there was no telling how they'd react to his appearance, after all.

But perhaps he had somehow been able to guess that Marsha wasn't a human, and plus she had a dog with her; people who loved dogs were rarely bad people.

☄️⯮ "Aww, thanks! Hi, baby! Ohh, you're so cute!" Tail wagging as well now, Comet reached out to gently scritch behind both of Autumn's ears at once,.

Happy Halloween and #ThrowbackThursday to another witchy cutie! What're your plans for tonight? Or did you already celebrate earlier? Personally, I'll finally be playing Into the Pit and eating pizza tonight! This has been an uncharacteristically full spooky season for me between Oogie Boogie Bash as well as attending Carved at Descanso Gardens (highly recommend, BTW - might be one of my favourite Halloween activities so far this year!) and FNAF being re-released in theatres last night (believe it or not, I didn't originally see it in the theatre, so I was happy I had a second chance)!

[  📖  ]  Autumn  stops  chewing  on  what  appears  to  be  an  off-color  white  plush  rabbit  to  look  at  the  other  toy.  The  rabbit  looks  pretty  old  and  it's  missing  an  eye.  She  stares  at  the  offered  toy  for  a  few  seconds  before  she  goes  right  back  to  chewing  on  the  rabbit.

❝Autumn!❞ Marsha called out to a small brown puppy. ❝Get back here right now!❞ Autumn continued to ignore as she ran around aimessly throught the forest until she spotting something that caught her eyes: an anthromorphic hedgehog. It reminded her of Marsha's hedgehog, Needlemouse.

Autumn ran up to sniff Comet just as Marsha finally caught up. ❝Autumn!❞ Marsha grabbed Autumn by the collar before she pulled her away. ❝Sorry if she was bothering you.❞
