I'm sorry. I'm sorry. No matter how they said it, no matter how much they tried to whimper- it wouldn't stop. Their hands were clutching at their head, fingers digging into their scalp. Make it stop. Everything was so far away- their chest was heaving, their heart hammering. They knew they were safe. They were home,- Yagi was upstairs, asleep- they were safe,- but their mind didn't seem to get the memo.

They inhaled sharply- hazel eyes wild as they darted around the room. Couldn't go upstairs. Didn't want to wake him. Didn't want to cause a problem. Please stop. I'm sorry. I'm SORRY. The words tumbled from their lips in fractured English, thoughts tripping into the abyss. All fake-- all fake---!

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry---" Prism. Hazel. They could bug the cats- please respond to me. They didn't care if they got scratched or bitten, hands reaching for the nearest one- wrapping around Hazel as they fell to the floor, cradling her in their lap. Fat, wet tears were streaming from their eyes. "---I'm sorry I'm I'm--- I'm--sorry, sorry sorry sorry sorry...!" They hated this. They flinched, a hand digging further into their scalp. It hurt- but by God, it was real. The small feline's body, pressed against their chest, she was real. They were gasping for air, unable to find enough with each uneven breath. "I'm sorry--- I'm sorry..!" It would pass. It always passed. But right now,...Fin couldn't focus on anything but the yawning void- the nothing that made them want to sob. Please don't. Please stop.

Rosaline has been in love with Hazel ever since Marsha brought her home. After constantly bugging Marsha to let her see Hazel, Marsha agreed with one rule: she had to supervise Rosa.

But even though Marsha was currently out of the house to walk her dogs, that didn't stop Rosa from wanting to see the kitten. Her eyes lit up as Hazel meowed at her. She went to scoop Hazel into her arms for a rather firm hug. "You're so soft! I love you so much!!"

Hazel comes up to the stranger, sniffing him curiously.

"Well hello there, little fuzzball" He squats down to hold his hand out for them to get a better sniff "Probably gonna smell my cats, but they are friendly I swear"

Hazel has come to visit and nuzzles lightly against Ralph in greeting.

"Does this please you?" A low rumble left him, sounding like a chuckle as he offered a few more pats, quite pleased himself. Ramattra had been observing the little creature, so helpless all on its own in a world so chaotic. A brave one, it must be.

"Worry not. You are safe with me."

Felines... they have a preference for fish, don't they? Perhaps he could acquire some.

Hazel brings a cool rock she found close to Cedric, keeping a distance cause she remembered he didn't like cats to touch him. It's a thank you for saving me gift!

Was that the same cat from before? The markings seem to match. Though, he wasn't entirely paying attention so he didn't know for sure. In any case the cat really shouldn't be here. The rock seemingly ignored, that or he didn't quite realize what Hazel was doing.

"Oh wonderful, I'm going to be blamed for this too aren't I?"

A curious chirp came from the juvenile raptor, nudging her snout against the feline's side. Food? It looked and smelled like food. But at the same time, Beta didn't feel the urge to eat it.

Oh my god, is that a cute little kitty?! Oh, the urge to scoop Hazel up was so strong, but she knew that cat wouldn't allow her to do that. Cats were strange animals to Lumi, but that's why she loved them. She looks around before squatting down and holding out her hand and wiggling her fingers a smidge

"Psst pss pss- here kitty kitty kitty.. You're a pretty kitty, aren't you? Want some treats? My brother should have something for you."
