so i made a few Númenor inspired jewelry pieces a long time ago before the show came out (I'm old and have been into Tolkien since the early 1990s), and am wearing them today for a trop watch party.

I need to change out the earlier earwire, it isn't the highest quality, but I got some stainless steel ones that will swap in nicely in lieu of silver.

The necklace is different sizes and shapes of pearls and labradorite. Ironically, labradorite occurs in mafic igneous rocks like basalt and gabbro, which I envisioned make up the geographical landscape of the Middle Númenor/ Armenelos/ Meneltarma area.

If anyone wants to know why my spelling is all over the place - I regularly have to use four different English spelling conventions and autocarrot has it out for me at this point.

The TV faction's technology is actually more advanced than the other two factions. In the latest episode, the Titan's repair was completely automated without any help from litter engineers at all.

Maybe. There's just not enough evidence to declare this. We do see some robotic arms/stems performing some maintenance on the Titan, but we don't know: a) if this was automated and not manually controlled, b) if this was a repair and not just a final touch-up, nor c) if the entire repair process was conducted in the same way. There's also no evidence either way for how quickly they can spin up a new Titan. If they can do that quickly, it raises the question of why they haven't made multiple Titans already.

(I assume 'litter' was an autocarrot error for 'literal' but it's endearing to imagine it meant 'little engineers'.)

I did find a video on YouTube from a few years ago where someone straightens synthetic hair by making a solution of boiling water and alum*, dipping the hair in, and combing it out immediately after dipping it. It showed a BIG difference in the crimp, and doesn't require a flat iron (which I don't currently own). I might keep the closer match and try that, see how I like it. If nothing else, I have also watched several videos on how to make wefts and how to sew them onto wig caps. It's kind of my last resort but if absolutely have to make an entirely new wig for Felicity, I can do that too.

But not yet. First, Josefina and Molly, because I have exactly one week till Christmas and those girls need a good amount of work.
