Mehr Freiheit dank Powerstation

Nicht immer steht ein Landstromanschluss zur Verfügung. Schön wenn man dann eine eigene Stromversorgung hat. Und wenn es auch nur mal für ein bis zwei Tage/Nächte erforderlich ist.

Wann und warum macht es für uns Sinn eine Powerstation + Solarpanale zu nutzen? Ich unterstreiche dabei "für uns", denn jeder mag da ganz andere Anforderungen haben und auch ein anderes Budget. Also kommen wir einmal zu dem Punkt wann und warum.

Heute machen viele Besitzer eines Wohnmobil oder Campers ihre Fahrzeuge in irgendeiner Form ein stückweit autark. Bisweilen mit großen Solarpanelen die fest auf dem Dach verschraubt oder verklebt sind. Damit können sie teilweise den gesamten Strombedarf und ggf. auch alternativ die Stromversorgung über die Steckdosen im Fahrzeug betreiben. Das kann ziemlich aufwendig werden und auch kostspielig. Den Möglichkeiten sind allein vom Budget Grenzen gesetzt. Das ist bei uns erstmal nicht anders.

Wieso, weshalb, warum?

Für uns gibt es aber prinzipiell einen ganz konkreten Bedarf. Wir haben festgestellt, dass es nötig ist bspw. unsere Kühlbox am Laufen zu halten und sie für einen Zeitraum von ein paar Stunden unabhängig vom Landstrom oder der Autobatterie mit Strom versorgen zu können. Dabei verwenden wir einen handelsübliche kleine Kühlbox. Ferner haben wir festgestellt, dass wir auch immer wieder mehrere Smartphones, Tablelts oder Chromebooks bzw. Notebooks nachladen müssen oder auch mal eine Bluetooth Box oder Kopfhörer oder den Akku des WLAN Routers.

Es gibt da noch ein paar Dinge, die aber in gewisser Weise in solchen Momenten auch verzichtbar sind. Zum Beispiel den Fernseher, Haarföhn oder Laden der eScooter. Das sind dann Dinge, die wir auch einsetzen oder laden können, wenn wieder Landstrom zur Verfügung haben, wie bspw. auf einem Campingplatz. Beschreiben wir mal die Situation. Beispiel: Wir fahren nach Sankt-Peter-Ording. Über Nacht stehen wir dort in der Regel auf einem Campingplatz. Also können wir nicht nur die Sanitäranlagen nutzen und dort bspw. Haare föhnen, sondern auch den Fernseher nutzen und die eScooter und alles andere laden. Und wir können hier auch die Kühlbox am laufen halten.

Auf der Fahrt kann es ja schon mal eng werden und wir wollen auch nicht über die Maßen die Batterie des Busses belasten und über den Tag geht es ja dann auch in der Regel an den Strand. Da kann dann ein Smartphone-, Chromebook-Akku schon mal schnell leer werden. Aber selbst wenn wir nur die Kühlbox mit Strom versorgen wollen, sind wir dann darauf angewiesen, das am Ende des tages das Auto auch noch anspringt. Wir also nicht die Batterie des Fahrzeugs leer gelutscht haben. Kurz gesagt, man hat in bestimmten Fällen oder an bestimmten Orten nunmal keine Möglichkeit sich direkt ans Stromnetz zu hängen.

Wir haben aber auch festgestellt, dass es auch mal eine Nacht ohne Landstrom versorgung gehen muss. Es ist selbst auf einem Stellplatz oder Campingplatz ab und zu nicht möglich Strom zu bekommen. Gerade, wenn der Platz ziemlich voll ist, man aber noch ein "Notplätzchen" erhalten kann. In der Vergangenheit konnten wir uns mit unserer kleinen Powerbank und einem eher schwächlichen Solarpanel im Notfall gerade so helfen, doch diese Powerbanke bekommen irgendwie ständig Füße. Einmal hat sie klammheimlich der Junior gemopst und weg war sie, ein anderes Mal wurde sie uns am Flughafen in Stansed/UK einkassiert, weil wir nicht darauf geachtet hatten, das das Teil nicht mit an Bord des Fliegers darf. Auf die Dauer ein teurer Spaß.

Eine Powerstation musste her!

Kommen wir nochmal kurz auf die Kühlbox zu sprechen. Auf dem Aufkleber in der Kühlbox sind in der Regel Angaben zu deren Strombedarf gemacht und so lässt sich auch leicht durchrechnen, ob und wie lange eine Kühlbox mit einer Poerstation betrieben werden kann. Kalkulieren wir mit 47 W sollte so eine Kühlbox ein paar Stunden betrieben werden können. Wir haben eine Thermoelektrische, die über 12 V und 220 V betrieben werden kann.

Tipp: Kühlakkus verwenden und die Kühlbox vor der Abfahrt schon auf Betriebstemperatur bringen, dann braucht die weniger Strom.

Powersstation? Die Teile sind nicht ganz billig. Im Prinzip geht es bei ca. 250 Euro los und wer gleich richtig Power haben will, der kann auch 1.500-2.000 Euro ausgeben. Dann ist ggf. ein Solarpanel noch nicht mal dabei. Und die richtige Powerstation zu finden, keine leichte Aufgabe! Oft leisten die Dinger auch nicht was die Hersteller versprechen. Unser Budget ist dann ja auch nicht endlos! Und autark ist man dann auch nur, wenn man auch gleich ein gutes Solarpanel dazu hat. Das sollte dann auch alles zusammenpassen, damit es am Ende auch funktioniert.

Wir haben uns nun für die Jackery 240 mit einem SolarSaga 80W Solarpanel entschieden. Das gab es im Set und und zum Aktionspreis. Wir konnten bei einem Nachlass zum regulären Listenpreis von 61% nicht wiederstehen und haben zugeschlagen. Wie gesagt, so richtig Sinn macht es erst, wenn wir dann auch die Kraft der Sonne nutzen kann. Gleichzeitige laden und entladen funktioniert bei der Jackery 240 zudem auch. Solange also mehr reinkommt als rausgeht läd sie noch. Ein wichtiger Punkt, denn das können nicht alle Powerstations.

Die Jackery 240 gibt es bereist länger schon auf dem Markt. Das Solar Saga80 ist ganz neue Technologie. Das Panale generiert von beiden Seiten Strom und dazu dient die Tasche, welche als Reflektor eingesetzt wird. Das kann zusätzlich noch ein paar Watt bringen, deren Erzeugung sonst nicht möglich wäre. Die Jackery 240 reicht schon für viele Anwendungen aus, sollte also für unseren konkreten Bedraf passen!. Jackery ist ein bekannter namhafter Hersteller aus den USA mit guten Rezessionen und bietet ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis Für uns im Zusammenhang mit unserem Bulli bringt uns ganz sicher schon ein ganzes Stück nach vorn!

Wir werden euch in einem der kommenden Beiträge ganz sicher unsere Erfahrungen mit dem Set berichten. Hier ging es erstmal nur darum, wieso wir das brauchen und wir werden dann noch aufzeigen warum wir uns gerade für dieses Set von JAckery entschieden haben und wie wir es einsetzen und bewerten. Der Hersteller ist einer von vielen und bietet allein schon eine ziemlich große bandbreite an Powerstations und Solarpanels an. Es könnte als ganz interessant werden. Mein römisches Reich,

Mein römisches reich ist der barbie film. das gefühl, dass ich hatte als ich ihn das erste mal sah, ist unbeschreiblich.

verbundenheit, verständnis, brutale realisation, stolz und bedrückung waren die gefühle die mich übermannten.

-verbundenheit-

ich fühlte mich so verbunden zu jeder einzelnen barbie in diesem film. jede von ihnen liebte die andere bedingungslos und glaubte an jede einzelne barbie. egal was diese barbie machen wollte, alle barbies standen hinter ihr.

in der zweiten hälfte des films habe ich mich immer noch mit ihnen verbunden gefühlt. ich fühlte mich verbunden zu der barbie die von der echten welt zurück kam und realisierte, dass ken die mysoginie und das patriachart in die barbie welt übertragen hat. diese tiefe frustration, dieser welt schmerz, das wissen, dass man nichts an der generellen situation ändern kann und man es über sich ergehen lassen muss. dieses gefühl erinnerte mich an mich selbst.

aber ich fühlte mich auch mit dem rest der barbies verbunden. die barbies, die von dem patriachart gebrainwashed wurden. die barbies, die alles tun um den kens zu gefallen. sie massieren ihnen die füße, schenken ihnen aller 5 minuten ein neues bier ein, vergessen komplett, dass sie ein eigenständiger mensch mit einer eigenen karriere sind. sie ziehen sich die klamotten an, die den kens gefallen und sie kochen für die kens. sie stehen immer nur daneben, wenn kens ihren hobbys nachgehen. sie leben ihre eigenen interessen gar nicht mehr aus, sie stehen einfach nur da und sehen hübsch aus- für die kens. ich fühlte mich verbunden zu ihnen da ich dieses gefühl, oder automatisches handeln besser gesagt, selbst an mir kenne. sobald ich einen mann mag; sei es romantisch oder schon platonisch, verbiege ich mich auf verschiedene weise, nur um ihm zu gefallen. ich höre mir seine musik an, schaue die filme die er so gut findet (nur um zu erkennen, dass es meistens filme mit entweder autos, geld, kriminalität oder superhelden die ihre frauen retten sind). wenn ich mit männern über meine interessen rede werden diese meistens als "frauensachen" oder zu intelektuell um sie zu verstehen abegstempelt. deshalb hab ich gelernt mir zu merken was die männer in meinem alter IMMER mögen. meistens ist es dieses eine bestimmte video spiel, die star wars reihe oder star trek - das ist abhängig von dem mann über den wir sprechen. es sind rassistische witze - das n wort finden ausnahmslos alle männer im alter von 16- 20 jahren urkomisch. sie lieben uk rap oder deutsch rap. rap aus amerika ist zu generell. wenn man glück hat ist es ein mann mit etwas musik geschmack der sich alten ami hip hop anhört. wenn man pech hat ist es ein mann der kunden wie captial bra oder ufo361 anhört. jedenfalls habe ich vor 2 jahren angefangen diese eine bestimmte video spiel zu spielen. ich bin auch relativ gut darin. ich spiele dieses spiel nie allein, immer mit einer gruppe männlicher freunde. jedesmal wenn ich einen neuen mann kennenlerne und ich ihm erzähle, dass ich es aktiv spiele und ich mich relativ damit auskenne, sieht man regelrecht dieses glitzern in seinen augen und man kann sich bereit machen für eine lange halbe stunde an mansplaining. ich habe mir alle star wars filme angeschaut als ich in der 7. klasse war, weil mein damaliger schwarm der größte star wars fan war den ich jemals gesehen hatte. in der 9. klasse schloß ich extra ein disney+ abo ab weil ich alle marvel filme anschauen wollte weil mein neuer freund ein riesen marvel fan war und ich ihn beeindrucken wollte. ich tat all diese dinge um den männern in meinem umfeld zu gefallen. vielleicht bin ich deshalb ein wenig pick me girl. anstatt mich zu verurteilen frage ich mich wieso es diesen begriff überhaupt gibt und warum sich frauen überhaupt so verhalten. wegen dem patriachart. wir wurden mit dem wissen, dass die wertschätzung von männern das wichtigste für eine frau ist, aufgezogen. beim aller 3 monate oma und opa treffen wurde ich immer gefragt "und, wie sieht es aus mit den jungs? hast du schon einen freund?" oder es wurden kommentare zu meinem aussehen gemacht und, dass jungs sowas ja nicht mögen würden. als ich mit 14 meine haare so kurz schnitt, dass ich aussah wie ein junge, sagte meine oma zu mir "so wirst du den männern aber nicht gefallen". dieser kommentar saß dann so tief in meinem hirn, dass ich auf gutefrage.net die frage eingab "mögen männer mich mit kurzen haaren?"

mein bruder dennoch, wurde nie nach einer freundin in seinem leben gefragt, es ging immer nur um ihn und seine noten oder später dann um seinen beruf. ich wurde von meiner oma nie gefragt was ich überhaupt werden will.

-brutale realisation-

diese brutale realisation hatte ich während des films das erste mal als barbie und ken zum ersten mal in der realen welt ankamen. sie hatten beide ziemlich bunte neon sportoutifts an. alles um die beiden rum war grau und alle menschen waren, im gegensatz zu den beiden, ziemlich langweilig gekleidet. barbie schaute sich um und nicht mal nach einer verstrichenen minute pfeift ihr ein mann hinterher. sie stuzt, fährt aber auf ihren neon gelben rollschuhen weiter. sie fahren an einer gruppe mädchen vorbei und barbie wird ausgelacht. immer mehr männer rufen ihr anzügliche sachen hinterher und sie sieht unglaublich ängstlich aus. der satz den sie dann zu ken sagt hat in mir ein gefühl ausgelöst, dass ich nicht beschreiben kann. "[...] ich fühle mich als würde mir etwas bewusst werden aber das etwas das mir bewusst wird, bin ich selbst." ich bin eine frau, natürlich habe ich catcalling schon mehrmals in meinem leben erleben müssen. dennoch war es schmerzhaft diese szene zu sehen. barbie, die immer in ihrer traumwelt lebte, in der jeder jeden wertschäzt, ihr freund sie nicht auf ihren körper und sex reduziert, und in der sie eine starke persönlichkeit ist, kommt in die reale welt und sie erlebt all diese sachen, bloß umgekehrt. plötzlich wird ihr bild von der realen welt komplett zerstört. man kann ihr alle emotionen von ihrem gesicht ablesen. ken neben ihr, hat ein dickes lächeln auf den lippen. er scheint das alles gar nicht so negativ zu betrachten. nachdem barbie ihren unmut ausgesprochen hat, widerspricht er ihr direkt und sagt, dass er das auch spürt aber auf eine eher positive weise, als würde er respektiert und bewundert werden. er sagt auch noch "und es hat gar keinen gewalttätigen unterton" barbie entgegnet dazu aber nur "für mich hat es definitiv einen gewalttätigen unterton" diese szene war so zermürbend, einerseits weil man sich darin selbst wider erkannt hat, andererseits weil man germekt hat wie die filme macher hier einen spiegel vor die gesellschaft hielten und die message "die menschheit ist schlecht, als frau kannst du nicht friedvoll existieren" einem geradezu ins gesicht springt. noch schlimmer wurde es später, als barbie von einem fremden mann einen klaps auf den po bekommt, und ihre erste reaktion war, diesem mann ins gesicht zu schlagen. das große schaudern was ich bekam lag daran, dass barbie und ken dann verhaftet wurden und nicht der mann der barbie sexuell belästigt hatte.

als barbie auf der polizei station dann vernommen wurde, wurde sie dort wieder auf ihren körper reduziert. von den polizisten. sie machten anstößliche kommentare zu barbies outift, und das einzige was sie sagte, war nur: "ich glaube wir müssen uns was neues zum anziehen suchen" sie wurde sexuell belästigt, und anstatt, dass der mann verhaftet wird, wird sie verhaftet weil sie sich selbst verteidigt hat und dazu kommt noch, dass der spaß auf der polizeistation noch lange nicht vorbei ist. und leider ist das die brutale realität in der wir leben. jan böhmermann hatte vor zwei wochen eine tolle folge zdf magazin royale veröffentlicht in der er chats von polizisten aufgezeigt hat in denen, neben rassistischen und ableistischen witzen, auch frauenfeindliche witze über vergewaltigungen, sogar mord gemacht wurden. und jetzt stell dir vor; du wirst sexuell belästigt oder sogar vergewaltigt, und du willst das zur anzeige bringen und dann steht einer dieser polizisten vor dir und nimmt dich nicht ernst. was ist das nur für eine welt in der wir leben?

-Stolz-

Ich fühlte mich den ganzen Film lang in bestimmten momenten echt stolz. überwiegend stolz darauf, eine frau zu sein. alle frauen in diesem film, vorallem die weiblichen hauptfiguren, waren alle so unglaublich stark und selbstbewusst. und selbst wenn sie momente hatten in denen alle hoffnung verschwunden zu sein scheint, finden sie zusammen mit allen anderen barbies, immer eine lösung. sie gaben nie auf und halfen einander in jeder situation. ich fühlte mich aber auch stolz einfach nur ein mensch zu sein. und froh auch. die szene in der barbie sich entscheidet ein mensch zu werden und die alte frau zu ihr sagt: "ein mensch zu sein kann ziemlich ungemütlich sein [...] deshalb denken sich die menschen sachen wie das patriachart und barbie aus, um damit umgehen zu können. [...] und dann stirbst du!" daraufhin lacht barbie nur kurz. ihr lächeln verschwindet aber auch schnell wieder, auf ihrem gesicht ist jetzt ein eher erleichterter ausdruck. und sie sagt nur "Ja". Und dann durchlebt sie alle emotionen eines Menschen. Nur durch die augen aller verscheidensten personen. man sieht kleine kinder beim spielen, erwachsene menschen beim schwimmen oder zusammen lachen, eine frau während sie sich schminkt und traurige menschen. all das macht einen so nostalgisch und stolz all diese emotionen selbst erleben zu dürfen. man erlebt all diese emotionen, bei dem einen überwiegend negative und bei dem anderen überwiegend postive. aber die meisten menschen gehen durch dieselben emotionen durch wie alle anderen. und dann stirbt man. manche eher, manche viel später. viele sagen, dass man lebt um arbeiten zu gehen und kinder zu bekommen. ich sehe das nicht so. man lebt, durchlebt emotionen und bestimmte lebenslagen und dann stirbt man. so einfach ist das.

Alles in allem hat der Barbie film mir einen gewissen schlag ins gesicht gegeben, durch den ich wieder in die echte realität geboxt wurde. nein, mein leben definiert sich nicht durch meine schulnoten oder wie hübsch, dünn, schlau und reif ich bin. mein leben definiert sich durch mich als person und was ich aus diesem leben mache.

und ich will in diesem leben wenigsten einmal ryan gosling sagen, dass er der einzige mann auf dieser welt ist.

Eugenesis, Part Six Scene Four: Xenon Info-Dumps For Five-And-A-Half Pages

Alright, back to bullshit.

Galvatron is being a rude little turd to Xenon, calling his robot collection old and dusty, but Xenon’s too wrapped up in the Quintesson/Cybertronian lore to be bothered. Ultra Magnus just wants to know what the fuck he’s done with the Matrix.

You heard the man, out with it.

So, back when the Quintessons first started out, they were known as the Progenitors- yeah, I know- a quasi-organic race who went from caveman-level intelligence to full-blown hard sci-fi sons of guns at an incredibly rapid rate.

Problem is, they didn’t get any further than that. They tried, sure. They tried real hard, for millions of years. Then, once their inspiration had run out, they started looking to other races to try and figure something out.

This just in, god is dead and James Roberts killed him by turning him into a glorified OS.

So, P.R.I.M.U.S. is encoded onto these geodes, and they become sentient. Sometimes they think they’re god.

Just like everyone else in this story.

Now that the Quintessons knew about these little god-doodads, they wanted one for themselves, to try and reverse-engineer the secret to immortality. They hired some guys called the Weavers to nab one for them.

This is some serious nerd shit, y’all. Galvatron agrees with me- he’s never even heard of any of the things Xenon’s droning on about. Neither have I- this is all Roberts at this point.

The Weavers brought back two geodes to the Quintessons, who promptly hid them away until the Masters cooled off a bit, since they were a little miffed about the thievery and whatnot. Then they noticed a couple problems: A) the geodes were encrypted to the moon and back, and B) if you so much as looked at the thing wrong it would purge the Lifecode completely.

Didn’t Optimus throw this thing at Unicron a couple times? Maybe the geode just doesn’t like you, Xenon, ever thought of that?

In order to decode the geodes, the Quintessons needed massive computers. Y’know, like God. But before they could really get a head start on that, the Masters’ nanobot enforcers showed up, blocking out the sky like a giant swarm of angry wasps. They wrecked shopped on Quintyxia- the old one, not the new one- and the Quintessons ran for it. They headed for the planet where they’d buried the other geode, but something went wrong with their hyperspace drive, and they didn’t arrive until two million years after they’d set off.

They dug for the geode, hit something metal, and that’s when the quakes started. The Quintessons left, thinking the planet was unstable.

At this point, Magnus is begging Xenon to just get on with it.

The Quintessons headed back to Quintyxia, to find that their lush, green world had been turned into one made of metal. Cybertron. Quintyxia is Cybertron. New Quintyxia is Quintyxia. It’s like that time Prince named himself the Artist Formerly Known As Prince.

Of course that leaves the question of why the nanobots didn’t just destroy the planet instead of… doing whatever they did to make Cybertron Cybertron.

So, Cybertron is a planet-sized computer, tasked with the sole purpose of decoding the meaning of life.

You know, I remember reading somewhere- and don’t quote me on this, because I can’t for the life of me remember where exactly- that Roberts has never read The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Now, either he’s lying- which I don’t know why he would, the guy loves references- or this is just a weird thing the collective brain of the English population does, where they all jump to the same ideas in absurdist sci-fi.

When the Quintessons showed up on Cybertron, they were met with the results of the cracked Lifecode- the first Transformers (but they couldn’t transform, that was a thing that developed alongside the war.) They couldn’t do much of anything, really.

Well, now we know where the protoform babies in IDW come from.

The Quintessons, not ones to squander an opportunity, decide to use these fragile, helpless proto-beings as slaves.

Yeah, the Quintessons have kind of been the worst since day one.

They build brain modules, stick them in the ground- Seedlings, Xenon calls them- and watch as the planet wrapped living metal around them and built bodies.

The Quintessons get pretty good at making the Auto-Bots, and get to a point where they’re drafting up blueprints for each solitary one. Blueprints that Xenon apparently kept, since he’s got all these copies in the pods right now.

If you couldn’t tell already, we’re going with the “the Quintessons made the Transformers” creation myth.

Of course, you make a big enough species, they’re going to need some corralling- that is, if you want to be an awful, controlling, overbearing parent. And the Quintessons definitely wanted that. So, what’s one to do?

…Look, it’s not that I necessarily disagree on a base level, but-

Xenon, you fucking neckbeard.

Because the Quintessons forgot that religion is not a one-set-outcome game, they were surprised to find that it had given their creations hope and will, things you really don’t want your enslaved masses to have.

The Covenant drove off the Quintessons, then fucked off into deep space to spread the message of Primus, with Maximo at the head of things. Maximo was the leader of the Cybertronian Empire and Megatron’s progenitor in the Marvel UK comics. They did leave someone behind to keep the masses within the faith- Primon. He’s important in the comics, just trust me on that.

Oh man, we’re finally getting some answers.

Xenon admits that the Quintessons didn’t come up with everything; there were parts that they just straight-up ripped out of the geode’s owner’s manual.

Oh. Well. That’s… underwhelming. Xenon’s really just dumping the entirety of the Cybertronian religion into the trash at this point, isn’t he? This info-dump has been going on for five pages, and we still aren’t done.

Turns out that kill switch code was pulled from the geode too- 4/11.002983712 is its serial number. That’s like if you called your dad by his first name and then immediately died afterwords.

But whatever happened to that second geode the Quintessons buried on the other planet?

Yeah, that turned into Unicron.

Turns out the virus that wipes the Lifecode from the geode messed up, and made the geode want to kill literally everything in the universe just for being alive.

Well, isn’t that all just fine and dandy~!

Because the Quintessons didn’t realize what Unicron’s whole deal was at first- the vore-planet had learned how to lie at some point before they met up- they worked together for a time.

At this point the Quintessons had gone from being quasi-organic to something more cybernetically-dependent, so that might have also made things a little difficult in the baby-making department. Or not. I don’t fucking know, things are just happening at this point.

MOTHERFUCKER DO YOU KNOW WHAT BOOK YOU’RE IN

THERE WILL BE NO HAPPY ANYTHING

Storytime’s over, back to the present day. Xenon’s going to take these podded robots and populate New Quintyxia with them. They won’t fight, they’ll be actual, normal people who don’t wage war.

Xenon must have gotten some new glasses, because that’s one hell of a rose-tinted worldview he’s got there.

Ultra Magnus at this point just asks for the Matrix back so they can go home. Xenon says “nah, but check this out tho” and powers on the pod-bots.

Xenon, that’s gross. Don’t make Galvatron and Magnus watch you be weird with the power of granting life, man.

All the robots wake up, stand, and stare up at Xenon, who’s floated up to the ceiling on his power trip. They… aren’t supposed to do that.

Turns out the Matrix is a friggin’ liar, and only promised power because it’s actually Unicron in there. Well, damn.

Galvatron shoots Xenon. Good.

Shoulda sprung for the waterproofing on your Uggs, Mags.

Galvatron’s on a roll, now. He aims at one of the zombies and fires, and they all go down, thanks to their interlinked minds. Crisis averted, I guess.

Magnus, though not happy with Galvatron’s wanton destruction of innocents, has bigger fish to fry at present; he’s convinced that the Matrix is still inside God. Boy oh boy, is he wrong, but the narrative demands he at least tries. He sticks his hand into the computer, up to the shoulder. That’s not good heavy-duty machinery safety.

Well, shit. He’s been possessed by a higher power.

You know, now that I think about it, there’s a good chance that Xenon putting the Matrix into God messed up the killswitch code, and that’s why Prowl had to use a wasting disease to try and end it all. Not really relevant at this exact moment in the story, just a thought I had.

Galvatron, having had enough mystical bullshit for one day, shoots his arm clean off, severing the connection. Magnus drops like a stone, and Galvatron bolts as everything starts coming down around them.

Oh no, Magnus is gonna be our first victim, isn’t he?

Magnus follows after Galvatron, leaving his arm. Hope he doesn’t run into any aqua fortis on the way back to the Trident, because his Pretender shell is beat all to hell.

Then Xenon pulls himself together and stops being dead.

Sigh.
