What Are the Points You Need to Obtain an Australia Visa?
If you want to work in Australia, you’ll need to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) which you must provide details about your qualifications and experience. Your score for a Skilled Visa will be based on the criteria set out in the Australia Skilled Occupation List (SOL). What do you need to obtain a visa according to the SOL?
Here are some of the points you must acquire:
Age: If you are not older than 45 years, you’ll be awarded 10 points.
English language ability: Your competency in English can help increase your chances of obtaining a visa. Points are awarded depending on the type and descriptors of your designated English language test.
Employment experience: Any employment experience in your field of expertise is also taken into consideration when awarding points, so if you gained professional experience before submitting your EOI, this might increase your chances of being granted a visa.
Qualifications: Any qualifications relevant to the occupation listed may add more points to your score. This is particularly important for occupations that require specialized qualifications, such as medicine and engineering.
How to Use an Australia PR Points Calculator
The Australia PR Points Calculator is an important tool to help individuals determine their eligibility for a permanent residence visa. The calculator takes into account a range of criteria, including:
Age: Your age when you apply for the visa can have a big impact on your score, with different point limits for different age groups.
Language Proficiency: Demonstrating proficiency in the English language is an integral part of the assessment process, with 4 points maximum awarded depending on your IELTS score and other factors.
Work Experience: Work experience abroad or within Australia can help boost your chances of success - up to 15 points are available depending on how long you have worked in certain roles.
Education: Holding a qualified post-secondary degree is essential and can reward applicants with up to 10 points under this criteria.
Skilled Employment: Another important factor assessed by the calculator is whether you have held full-time skilled employment internationally or within Australia over the past 10 years - up to 20 points can be awarded here depending on the type of work undertaken and how long it lasted.
Ultimately, by accurately entering all relevant information into an Australia PR Points Calculator before applying for a permanent residence visa, individuals have the best chance of gaining approval for the visa they desire.
Other Requirements for a Successful Application
You have gone through the steps of assessing your eligibility, gathering necessary documents, and applying for a visa, but there are other considerations to make when applying for a skilled occupation visa in Australia.
Good Character
Australian immigration rules require that you have good character as part of their assessment process. This includes having no criminal record or history of offending behavior, as well as meeting any debts you may owe to the Australian Government. This requirement is met by the submission of police clearance certificates from the country of your current residence and all other countries you have resided in for more than 12 months in the last 10 years.
Health Requirements
You must also meet health requirements as a part of your visa application. The Health Requirement form will ask for information about any medical conditions, disabilities, or hospitalizations recorded against your name. It may also include an immunization record which must be provided by an approved panel doctor unless you were born in Australia or New Zealand.
English Language Proficiency
A requirement for all skilled occupation visas is a valid international English language testing system (IELTS) result, with no overall score lower than 6 in each component (writing, reading, listening, and speaking). Alternatively, applicants can take the Occupational English Test (OET) with no overall lower score than Grade B in each component (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). If necessary, language tuition or online courses can be taken prior to taking either test.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the Australia Skilled Occupation List is an excellent resource for immigrants who wish to apply for permanent residency in Australia. By understanding the list and assessing your skills, qualifications, and experience, you can select an occupation that matches your profile and apply for permanent residence in Australia without delay.  The points-based skilled migration program allows you to apply for Permanent Residency in Australia based on the points you earn and provides a streamlined and efficient way to obtain a visa. Additionally, there are several helpful online tools such as the Australia PR Points Calculator that can help you understand the eligibility requirements and determine if you are eligible for permanent residence in Australia.

I wrote this in between RL commitments and 3 in the morning. I haven't done any editing. So sorry for the mistakes. Will edit later and probably post to AO3 sometime later this week. My grasp on soft Max is just not as strong as my grasp of Daniel's character.
Over 900 words.
Max after receiving Daniel's message congratulating him on his 4th WDC win. Maxiel. Soft and squishy.
Lovely
He rewatched the video later that night, alone in his hotel room. Well, he rewatched all the parts with Daniel in it.
Daniel's hair was longer, the curls escaping from under his cap and flicking everywhere at the side and back of his head. He was rugged up in what looked like a very soft and warm hoodie, probably one of his Enchanté ones. He looked soft, comfortable, and happy. It was a private message sent with the knowledge that it could potentially become public. Daniel had used his real voice, the voice he spoke in when he wasn't in front of a camera or trying to Danny Ric. His voice was lower, and his accent flatter, less Australian, evened out by touches of Europe.
It was the voice Daniel used with Max when the cameras weren't on. When he was too tired, when he was comfortable, when he felt safe.
Daniel looked so happy. And so lovely.
Max has always thought Daniel was lovely. And not just physically, though Daniel was that too. His large smile and soft brown eyes had caught Max's attention first, and then everything else about Daniel drew Max to the man like a moth to the flame.
Max spent years being allowed to touch Daniel whenever he wanted, a hand on his shoulder or neck to get his attention, an embrace to show their exuberance, and a jokey touch of thighs, and so much more. And when Daniel left, Max had thought he couldn't touch him anymore.
But that didn't last, Daniel had all but tore down those thoughts the first time they saw each other after he left Red Bull. He had greeted Max with a tight hard embrace and a sincere whisper into his ear.
"I missed you, Maxy."
And Max had clung back, and never let go.
Daniel on the screen was happy for Max. For Max's fourth WDC. Daniel was always happy for Max's successes, he had always found Max after a win, a tight hug and words of congratulations, had kept at it even when he wasn't on the grid, sent him texts and voicemails telling him how happy he was for Max, how amazing he was. And Max had saved every single message from Daniel, and would look over them whenever the need to bask in Daniel's overwhelmed him.
And Daniel had sent him a message to Max after his fourth WDC win via Red Bull PR. Even when Max knew Daniel had cut all contact with Red Bull. But for Max, well, Max was always the exception to Daniel, as it was the same for Max.
Daniel was Daniel. Daniel was Max’s exception. Daniel was the man who had seemed larger than life to a young Max, someone who had taken in all of Max’s sharp edges, and instead of running the other way, he had smiled his beautiful smile, swung his arm around his shoulders, and looked down at Max with so much warmth and confidence.
“You and me Maxy, we are gonna fuck shit up.”
And Max believed him, and Daniel had never broken that trust in all the years since.
Max rewatched the video one more time, let Daniel's voice wash over him, let his smile warm the gaps inside of himself, and then he smiled.
It was never in any doubt really.
Max had made his decision about Daniel the first time they met, the seed of what he felt planted when Daniel had sent him that first video to congratulate him on getting his super licence. He had just been waiting for Daniel to arrive at the same point as him. But maybe Daniel had already crossed the finishing line without Max realising it.
Max picked up his phone, scrolled through his contact list and hit Daniel's name.
Daniel picked up straight away but didn't say anything. Max could hear his soft breathing over the line. And every part of Max relaxed, letting the sound of Daniel's breathing sink into his bones.
A small laugh came through the line. And Max found himself smiling hopelessly fond.
“Maxy,” Daniel sing-songed across the line.
“Hello Daniel.” Max’s voice was soft, unable to contain the tenderness that welled up in him. “Daniel, I received your message.”
“Yeah? Did you cry?” Daniel asked, a hint of uncertainty. And Max couldn't have Daniel doubting how much his message, his sincerity meant to Max.
“I did not cry. But it was very nice.”
Daniel hummed softly, a question in the sound. And Max felt all soft and fond.
“Daniel, it was lovely.”
“Oh.” Daniel sounded surprised. “I - well, I'm an awesome person. Beautiful and smart, and just fucking aces.” And Daniel was joking, avoiding the naked truth in Max’s voice.
Daniel was the bravest person Max had ever known, but had so many fears because he didn't want to be hurt.
Max would never hurt Daniel on purpose, would try to curb all the accidental ways that he could hurt Daniel.
“Daniel, you are of course fucking aces.” Daniel laughed softly. Max felt a soft ache in his heart.
“The message was lovely, but what I also wanted to say was that Daniel, you are lovely. You have always been lovely to me.”
A soft gasp, and silence. But Daniel did not hung up.
Max waited. He trusted Daniel, and Daniel has never broken that trust.
“Max.” A shuddery breath, and then a long inhale. “Max, you are lovely too.”
Max smiled, and let the soft fondness, the certain love he has carried for years flow over him.

https://www.tumblr.com/wisteriagoesvroom/765425050649231362/what-happened-between-carlos-and-oscar-in-the-gap
Can you list the clues we have? 🕵️‍♀️
I am not sure I know what all happened but I’m ready to put my RPF brain into it
i don't have many clues, but here are some thoughts if we wish to put the capital F in rpF:
🇸🇬 singapore
iirc, oscar was the one who roared past carlos in quali and carlos somehow put it in the barrier during q3 in singapore (oscar was the "another car"):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
from
so in singapore, oscar qualified p5, and carlos in p10.
Tumblr media
oscar ends the race p3 / podium, and carlos in p7
Tumblr media
cue 3 week break, then, cut to:
🇺🇸 austin
oscar has a lacklustre sprint quali (he qualified so bad i had to zoom so far out to get the screenshot, rip). carlos starts austin sprint in p5, oscar p16.
Tumblr media
oscar ends up fighting his way in this sprint to p10, vs carlos's p2 finish.
oscar drives relatively hard in the austin sprint, incurring a 5 second penalty for pushing gasly off in the process, and manages to hold yuki behind him. i say relatively 'cus he's still pretty clean, but he was scrappy here.
Tumblr media
THEN, carlos defended oscar, fully on the record, in the face of the FIA penalty. which he thought was "harsh" on oscar...
much to consider...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
from
later. carlos starts p3. oscar is side by side on the starting grid in p5.
Tumblr media
carlos finishes p2 there, oscar p5. fairly uneventful race for oscar. not the case for carlos, where iirc ferrari allowed the two red cars to fight.
Tumblr media
results from
then...
🇲🇽 mexico city
and BOOM for some reason by mexico city practice they are beefing again. but wait! what's been happening in the background?
my rpf mind says oscar is grumpy because he was denied the additional mclaren upgrades, where the team has prioritised lando. add in: helmut marko dragging oscar's name into the media discourse to mess with zak (who is busy defending lando's position as Prized Top Boy because helmut decided to play mind games with all of them as part of the driver and constructors' championship fight. max haunts the narrative).
Tumblr media
from
meanwhile!! carlos is coming to the end of his ferrari run, the end of one of his childhood dreams. (launching his own karting business this year was another one - side note, interesting shift in PR strategy.)
anyway, he didn't win austin like he probably wanted. but, he's kind of doing excellent in mexico. i am not as familiar with ferrari's overall dynamics tbh, but it seems like he and charles were also openly at odds with each other over strategy again at some point in austin (??):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
screenshot. + austin writeup from.
so BACK TO MEXICO CITY! where we are now. i think oscar thought carlos was in the way in fp3? which resulted in this lil throwaway snipey comment from oscar:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
from
maybe it's a one-sided beef from oscar @ carlos atp. but one thing about carlos is he will NAWT back down when someone bares his teeth at him.
therefore. carcar is like. so fully back y'all.
and as a footnote. or maybe not a footnote actually. it's just. kind of. very funny. when carlos has ended up on pole / p1 in mexico city quali. meanwhile oscar is p17 behind...a sauber.
like. i love that australian twink, but this is kinda hilarious ngl. piastri + americas = no bueno.

✔️✔️✔️🍁 🌍✈️ Australia Visa Consultants in Delhi ✔️✔️✔️🍁 🌍✈️
Tumblr media
Hi everyone! My name is Riya Sharma I recently got the Australian Permanent Residency thanks to Aptech Visa one of the best Australia Visa Consultants. I am from Pune, India, and I was a Mechanical Engineer (233512) before I initiated the process of getting a better life in Australia. Thanks to Aptech Visa which helped me and my family make this dream a reality. Here is much information about us we’d like to start with our story.
The Beginning of My Journey
Like most of the professionals in India, we planned to immigrate to Australia for enhanced job opportunities, a higher quality of living, and great educational facilities for our children. But it appeared complicated with so many procedures, regulations, measures for eligibility and so many papers to produce. And that is when the search for a good Australia Visa Consultant began and I found Aptech Visa; recommended best for Australian immigration consultancy services. From the first meeting, I realized that I was in the right place.
My Profile and the Pathway
In the first meeting that I had with the team at Aptech Visa, I was subjected to the following analysis on my profile. Here’s what stood out:
·        Profession and ANZSCO Code: Under ANZSCO Code 233512 – Mechanical Engineer, my occupation was on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) implying that I could apply for PR under Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189).
·        Skill Assessment:Thanks to Aptech Visa & Immigration consulting service I was helped with my skill assessment of Engineers Australia, all my working references and qualifications were matched to their requirements.
·        Points Calculation:My points were determined depending on age, education, experience in work, and English language proficiency. Namely, when I reached a Score of 85, I was likely to be invited. The Step-by-Step Process Handled by Aptech Visa
youtube
Here is how Aptech Visa guided me through the complex Australia PR process:
Skill Assessment: ·        They went through my documents very carefully as well as advised me on how to write the Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) which is a Component of Engineers Australia. ·        Their input was particularly crucial in making me parade my skills appropriately on my CDR
    2. Expression of Interest (EOI):
·        Aptech Visa lodged my EOI on SkillSelect, ensuring all details were accurate to maximize my points.
    3. Invitation to Apply (ITA):
·        Once I received my ITA, they provided a detailed checklist and assisted me in gathering additional documents, such as police clearance certificates and health examinations.
    4. Visa Application:
·        Their team prepared and submitted my visa application with precision, leaving no room for errors. ·        They also kept me updated on the status of my application, addressing any queries promptly.   Helping My Family Join Me
Another of my considerations was to have my husband and two children together with me in Australia. Aptech Visa was equally supportive in handling their applications:
•       Visa for My Husband and kids:For his papers, they worked on it and made sure we processed my visa together with his.
•       Educational Support for My Children: Aptech Visa provided information about schooling systems and how to admit children to schools on arrival in Australia.
•       Medical and Police Clearances: They arranged appointments for all of us and made sure we passed all the health and character prerequisites we have ever needed.   The Outcome: Our Australian Dream Realized
In one year term, my family and I were granted the Australian PR visas. The day, when receiving the email from Aptech Visa telling us about the grant, was probably one of the brightest of our lives. The clear working structure, openness, and ceaseless assistance provided by all our specialists removed all the pressure and helped make the process very easy.   Why I Recommend Aptech Visa s the Best Australia Visa Consultant?
Here’s why I believe Aptech Visa is the best Australia Visa consultant:
•       Expert Guidance: They are conversant with most of the Australian immigration laws and procedures. •       Personalized Services: Saying that, every case that they handle tends to be special and they design their strategies uniquely. •       Transparency: Right from the time of briefing, they told and showed what they were likely to do and what they had done. •       End-to-End Support: right from the skill assessment process to the post-landing services they were there with us.   Final Thoughts

Australia’s immigration system is based on a points test, where applicants accumulate points based on various factors, such as age, English proficiency, work experience, education, and other qualifications. Achieving a high score on this points test is crucial for receiving an invitation to apply for an Australian Permanent Residency (PR) visa, such as the Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189), Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190), or Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491). In this guide, we’ll break down each factor in the points test to help you understand how to maximize your score and increase your chances of securing PR.
One of the most significant contributors to your overall points score is your age. The Australian immigration system is designed to favor younger applicants, as they are likely to contribute to the workforce for a more extended period.
Proficiency in English is another crucial factor in the points test. The higher your level of English, the more points you can earn.
Your work experience, especially if it’s related to an occupation on Australia’s Skilled Occupation List (SOL), can substantially boost your points score.
Work experience within Australia is highly valued, reflecting your ability to adapt and thrive in the Australian workforce.
Experience Duration: If you’ve worked in Australia for 8–10 years in a skilled occupation, you can earn 20 points.
Why It’s Important: Australian work experience demonstrates your familiarity with the local work culture and systems, making you a more attractive candidate.
Strategies: If you’re already in Australia on a temporary visa, consider gaining as much local work experience as possible before applying for PR.
Your educational qualifications are another significant component of the points test, particularly if you hold a Doctorate degree.
If you’ve completed advanced studies in Australia, particularly in niche areas, you can earn additional points.
Australia is actively encouraging skilled migrants to live and work in regional areas, offering additional points for those who study in these locations.
Proficiency in certain community languages can earn you extra points, reflecting Australia’s multicultural society.
Completing a Professional Year program in Australia can be a valuable way to gain additional points and improve your job prospects.
State or territory governments in Australia can nominate applicants for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190), which provides an additional 5 points.
If your spouse or de facto partner meets specific criteria, you can gain an additional 10 points towards your application.
If your spouse or de facto partner has competent English but does not meet the other criteria for skilled points, you can still earn an additional 5 points.
If you’re applying as a single applicant or your spouse is an Australian citizen or PR holder, you’re eligible for an additional 10 points.
Why It Matters: This category recognizes the lower potential for dependents to be a burden on the system, thereby rewarding single applicants or those with an Australian spouse.
Strategic Advantage: If your partner doesn’t meet the criteria for additional points, you might consider applying as a single applicant to gain these 10 points.
The Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) allows applicants to live and work in regional Australia and offers a substantial 15 points for regional or family sponsorship.
Summery
Maximizing your points for Australian Permanent Residency requires careful planning and a deep understanding of the points test. By focusing on areas where you can improve, such as English proficiency, work experience, or education, you can significantly enhance your chances of receiving an invitation to apply for PR. Whether you’re applying independently, with a partner.

HOW DO I SUBMIT A PRESS RELEASE APPLICATION IN AUSTRALIA?
Now that you know what it is, we’ll talk about how to get permanent residency in Australia. There are numerous paths to permanent residency in Australia, including the Skilled Migration Program. It is a programme that gives PR based on the applicant’s job history and skill set.
Every year, the Australian Department of Home Affairs compiles a list of popular occupations that contribute to the country’s growth. An international student who successfully completes a programme leading to a position on Australia’s list of Skilled Occupations has a better chance of obtaining Australian Permanent Residency. In other words, every student who wishes to settle in the country should pursue a degree with a high potential for PR that will be in demand for a long time.
This blog post will go over a few of the courses, but not all of them. Search for the most recent PR courses in Australia to gain a better understanding of your options.
THE PR POINTS SYSTEM IN AUSTRALIA

Currently, 65 points are required to be eligible for the visa, but Australia reserves the right to change the requirements at any time.
SHORT PR COURSES LIST
The Skilled Occupation List includes a list of jobs that are eligible for entry into Australia under the country’s point-based immigration system.
