#77Saturday 🐑 What do you think the "it" is? 🤔😏 I haven't read this yet but I plan to fit this into #ausyabloggersreadingchallenge 's prompt for March: Lost & Found . 🔪Synopsis Rachel Watts has just moved to Melbourne from the country, but the city is the last place she wants to be. James Mycroft is her neighbour, an intriguingly troubled seventeen-year-old who's also a genius with a passion for forensics. Despite her misgivings, Rachel finds herself unable to resist Mycroft when he wants her help investigating a murder. He's even harder to resist when he's up close and personal - and on the hunt for a cold-blooded killer. When Rachel and Mycroft follows the murderer's trail, they find themselves in the lion's den - literally. A trip to the zoo will never have quite the same meaning again... . #quote #EveryBreath #Everytrilogy #EllieMarney #mystery #sherlock #youngadult #contemporary #aussiauthor #australianwomanwriters #AusYABloggers https://www.instagram.com/p/B9ISMmLAr76/?igshid=1vckv002gp4u3

Booyah! Finished my oldest tbr for #tbrtrim20 within 3.5 hours of January ending 😅 Cuz that's just how I roll 🤣 I remember how I actually got this book... It was National Bookshop Day in 2013 (yes! 6.5 years ago) as free book when you buy another book. It is apparently a horror book and no wonder that I've left it gathering dust til now; am just not a horror fan. However, it was an ok read. Not a fave and not scary - just a tad weird but I Read It! 💪 ❓: Does anyone have a book they've been gifted and haven't read but couldn't give away because you feel guilty even though it's not really your thing? #igreads #bookstagram #thedeadpath #stephenmirwin #aussiauthor #horror https://www.instagram.com/p/B7-rCiLAq_q/?igshid=16iq8rh19vbhd

Burning Fields by Alli Sinclair
1948. The world is struggling to regain a sense of balance after the devastation of World War II, and the sugar cane-growing community of Piri River in northern Queensland is no exception.
As returned servicemen endeavour to adjust to their pre-war lives, women who had worked for the war effort are expected to embrace traditional roles once more.

Review: The Juliet Code by Christine Wells
The Juliet Code by Christine Wells
It’s 1947 and the war is over, but Juliet Barnard is still tormented by secrets. She was a British agent and wireless operator in occupied Paris until her mission went critically wrong. Juliet was caught by the Germans, imprisoned and tortured in a mansion in Paris’s Avenue Foch.
Now that she’s home, Juliet can’t – or won’t – relive the horrors that occurred in…
