Among the og 5(Marinette, Adrien, Alya,Chloé and Nino)+ Felix, Kagami and Zoé,which Auspicious you think would fit they desires the best?
Well, as the Auspicious comes to those who need or want a change in their quality of life...
Marinette
Marinette would most likely draw in Crane. That's a desire she has that she struggles with most: the romance. With Crane, she'd get to establish a friendly connection that can give her a chance to bond with her crush and try and take things further. It would also open her eyes to other possibilities as she doesn't have to stick to that first love.
There is also possibility for Marinette to have Rooster, while she has a good reputation and strong sense of integrity, she also doesn't get recognized for all that she does (like putting her future career on the line so Adrien can go to school, letting him think his father made the scarf, ect.), and Orikko may feel she should, to embrace having self-pride.
Otherwise, Crane's probably the only one she'd really draw in.
Adrien
Adrien hands down would easily get Horse. Not only is he feeling isolated and stuck and desire freedom and mobility, but he feels disconnected from people and wants to make friends. That's the definition of everything Horse covers.
Adrien could also draw in Deer, Bear, and Crane.
Adrien, to my knowledge as I stopped watching around s3, actually doesn't have any drive or ambition for his life (outside romance). Nothing he thinks he wants to do for a career. It's also pretty clear that he doesn't quite have down who he is, given the split personalities he takes on as Adrien vs Chat. Deer would come in to help him figure out what he wants to do with his life, what does he enjoy; and to help him figure out who he is. He is the harmonious perfect son? Is he the goofy and eager hero? Or is he somewhere in between?
Bear would work off Adrien's desire to connect with his family, particularly with Gabriel, as Adrien canon wise seemed to have moved on from Emilie's passing (from what I've seen). Bear would also open his eyes to found family instead, if blood related family doesn't work out.
Crane would be drawn in with Adrien's strong desire for romantic love. It would help him have a chance to bond and connect with his crush and potentially move things forward. Crane though would also be willing to open his eyes to other possibilities as the first love isn't always the true love.
Alya
I think I would say Mantis for Alya. Crane may come to her because Alya likes to be a matchmaker, but that would only be because the kwami would be very bothered by Alya's methods.
While Alya has a good head on her shoulders, and can be observant and clever, she can be reckless and over eager, and it wouldn't hurt for her to learn to be wiser. To learn to open her eyes and broaden her perception.
Otherwise, of what I can remember of Alya, I don't really see anything else that would draw an Auspicious to her. She has good ties to family, she's well off, she has a good reputation, doesn't seem to have a lot of struggles with romance herself, she may be good creatively or maybe she needs a boost of creativity so maybe Spider?, uh, she's not restricted and doesn't struggle with making friends, she knows what she wants to do and who she is... yeah Mantis is the only one I could say for sure that she draws in as that's the only thing she really needs, to grow in wisdom.
Nino
I have no idea for Nino. There is just too little given on him as an individual character to know what he wants or desires or may even need. And from what I can see, there's nothing he's struggling with in life.
It may be that, for now, Nino just doesn't draw an Auspicious to him.
He could draw in Bear given his line in Bubbler, but that could also be him being a frustrated teen. They're bound to get annoyed with parents. That's not enough to draw the Bear in. I don't know what his family's financial situation is so I can't say for sure if he'd draw in Fish. He's second to Marinette in seen with the most friends, so he has a good reputation. He doesn't seem to be struggling in love, so no Crane. He's not struggling creatively, so no Spider. He's not restricted so no Horse. He knows what he wants to do and I don't really see a struggle so no Deer. And I don't really see anything to him that suggests he needs to grow in intellect or wisdom, so he doesn't really need Mantis.
Uh, yeah I don't think anything really clicks for Nino amongst the Auspicious. At least of what we have of him so far.
Chloe
Honestly, Chloe's not likely to really draw in any of the Auspicious either. The core concept of them is quality of life improvements, those who are truly in need of it. And being Auspicious, they don't like going to terrible people as the good they bring is more likely to be selfishly used and abused.
I will say there are possibilities for Chloe to draw in, but they truly wouldn't come to her if they had a choice.
Bear is kinda the most debatable on this list, the idea to connect with family doesn't hurt, and she clearly does want that (with her mother), but also her family is terrible.
Chloe has a terrible and infamous reputation. Rooster may be drawn in to fix that, and may teach Chloe some actual integrity and improve how she is as a person; but I could also see this Miraculous turning it's nose up and letting her deal with the fire she started around herself.
Spider is one of the more likely to come to Chloe, as Chloe does struggle with her creativity. But the big point against Spider is that Chloe doesn't want to be creative, she only does so to try and connect to her mother, not to be innovative. And that may not interest the Spider at all.
Mantis would only come because she's one of the dumbest people in Paris and it kinda hurts the kwami just to look at her. But, she's more likely to leave Chloe to face her own recklessness. Consequences will be the better teacher, especially as she knows chances are low that Chloe would listen to her.
Felix
Is tricky as it can depend on what sort of Felix you're doing.
PV Felix we have little info on, we know he's more of a loner, not afraid to be clear with his feelings and opinions, and is potentially an asshole, but that could also be because PV Marinette never left him alone despite the clear no. He could draw in Crane to help with his crush, but it would come down the reasons for his pursuit, like if he's cursed and that's why he's pursuing LB, then yeah Crane's not going to come to him. And the little we see of PV Felix, nothing really stands out to me.
I've seen some people do that he is lonely and socially awkward, so that's a point for Rooster.
Canon Felix... maybe be Bear, it could be interested to try and improve family relations, but it could also pick up that Felix is just not interested in connecting with the Agrestes and leave him be. Uh, Gabriel seems to have more wealth and power than Felix's mother and hold that over Felix's head, so he could be the first to actually draw in Fish to boost his family's wealth, but it would be more interested to go to those more in need.
For my take on Felix, I'd probably say Rooster, but it would come post him opening up to others and actually having some investment in making friends. Which is harder for him given he doesn't have a good reputation, and it's awkward as he wasn't interested in making friends before. So Rooster could help him smooth out his reputation and connect with others better.
Kagami
Would probably draw in Horse.
Given that she wants to make friends and wants more freedom and a chance to explore, Horse meets and qualifies, as it is about mobility, and making connections with others.
Zoe
I guess Rooster? Rooster can play into figuring herself out, establishing her reputation and who she is.
I don't know if there's enough given on Zoe for anything else.

Random Astro Observations 💅🤓
I always used to do specific topics, this is my first random observation post where I compiled my notes from specific topics. Hope u have a good read! YAYYY THIS IS MY FIRST ASTRO OBSERVATION POST AND I'M EXCITED!!! ☺
(These are based on Sidereal, whole sign system based charts and all the observations are subject to change with other aspects in the chart, so don't conclude anything with one placement) ❤
1. Ascendant Lord is in Jyeshta, Revati or Ashlesha nakshatra- These ppl have utmost self-confidence and determination. It's hard to break their will. No matter how hard life gets, they have the tendency to get up right back and continue with their day like nothing happened.😎
2. 6H ruler in Ascendant - You find yourself surrounded by enemies or ppl who wish for your downfall even if you did nothing to trigger them and you're just doing your own work. This placement attracts enemies. 🤧
3. Ascendant ruler in 6H- You are the one MAKING enemies lol. You can be prone to picking up fights or rubbing ppl off the wrong way and earn a handful of non-well wishers in your life.😶
4. 3H and 4H lord in conjunction - You could've moved to a different city during childhood or at least a different house in the same city. 🏡
5. Venus in Leo in Man's chart- Your wife could be bold, shares your burden and solves it especially career oriented or financial troubles BUT can be prone to frequent health issues and weak eyesight
6. 5H lord aspected by Sun/Jupiter- You definitely believe a lot in starting new endeavors after visiting your favorite deity or a specific religious place. You could develop this into a strict habit.✨
7. Placements that makes one an amazing astrologer - Ascendant in Mercury ruled stars, Ketu in 3/6/10/11H, Ketu aspected by Jupiter/Mercury.🤓
8. Ketu-Mercury conjunction - Very knowledgeable in astrology and one of the auspicious placements to begin a career in astrology.⚡
9. DO NOT buy land or any properties in your business partner's name ALONE, if mars is in 6/8/12H when counted from your 7H lord's position. (It doesn't matter if ur business partner is ur family member or a good friend, just don't, u will end up losing everything or never gain anything)💀
10. Mercury or Jupiter in conjunction with Rahu/Ketu/Saturn- Take care of legal documentation files and procedures, PERIOD.🤥
11. Work in Healthcare or Doctors- Sun in Ashwini, Sun/Mars/Saturn/10H ruler in Ketu ruled stars, Scorpio house aspected by Jupiter/Mercury/Moon and Ketu in Scorpio.💊💉
12. If you have any of the mentioned placements below, PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THE WORDS YOU SAY! I mean, your mouth is y'all's problem tbh 😭 Refrain saying irrelevant things or giving instructions or advice in public setting, you gonna end up in unwanted trouble for ✨speaking✨
Saturn in 2H or Saturn aspecting 2H
Planets in 2H sitting in Saturn ruled stars
Air risings (As they have Saturn ruled stars in their 2H)
Mars in 2H
2H lord in conjunction with saturn and sits in 6/8/12H
8H lord in 2H or vice versa
13. If 4H lord is placed in 7-12 houses, get out of your hometown and you can have a peaceful, amazing and ideal lifestyle. If you have this placement, don't be in your hometown, it restricts your growth and gives a sense of dissatisfied life.😌
14. Rahu/Ketu/Sun/Saturn in 6H- Wins over enemies. FLEX 💅
15. Jupiter -Moon conjunction and Moon-Mars conjunction ---> Your family deity or your favorite God or just a divine power ALWAYS looks over you. You can see miraculous things happening when you pray or have God related or spiritual dreams. 🤩

A Press of the Button:
An Exclusive Interview with Jason Wayne and Danny Nightingale Following the Infamous New Years Eve Choice
By Clark Kent
“I’m going to throw up.”
I’m sure that I wasn’t supposed to overhear that; it’s not exactly an auspicious start to an interview. Here inside of Wayne Manor’s stately halls the noise of the crowd of press outside of the gate has fallen away and the words from the other side of the door are clear. The voice isn’t one that I recognize, so I place it as the young man at the center of the event: Daniel Nightingale.
“Danny, please, I’ve never liked Daniel,” he’ll introduce himself to me once I’m inside the sitting room. Jason Todd is at his boyfriend’s side, looming like an avenging angel. Or, since we’re in Gotham, a very large bat.
When I was assigned the interview, I hadn’t been sure where it would be held. As readers may know, Jason Todd hasn’t lived at the Manor since his miraculous return from the dead. There were, as he said, too many memories in the Manor for him to return. At the time he had still been struggling to overcome the unfortunate amnesia that he had suffered during his brutal abduction as a teenager.
Whatever trauma is still lingering, it’s clear that both young men are taking comfort being in the manor. The proverbial wagons have been circled inside of the family home. Even cleaned up the sitting room shows signs of a rotation cast of family keeping the pair company: a plethora of blankets, stacked board games, feel-good food, and, of all things, a plush trilobite.
As we take our seats, Danny leans unconsciously into Jason’s space like a flower to the sun. His nerves are clear in the way that his fingers fidget restlessly with the edge of his sleeves. The red sweater is far too large for him and hangs off of one thin shoulder. I have to guess that it’s Jason’s sweater and worn today for comfort. I doubt anyone could blame Danny seeking comfort wherever he can find it.
Less than a week ago Danny was abducted from the Wayne’s New Years Eve party by a Gotham villain known as Two Face. The villain came into being after Harvey Dent, a district attorney in Gotham, was traumatically exposed to a toxic chemical. (More about Two Face can be read in the article ‘A Flip of a Coin’.) Danny had been taken off site while a handful of party goers were strapped to an explosive device.
Presented with the horrifying choice between his boyfriend or his father and youngest brother, Jason had pressed the red button connected to Danny’s trap.
Danny Nightingale had been electrocuted to death.
And survived.
It’s the perfect sort of awful story to capture the attention of the public and press alike, and it’s the reason that I’m at Wayne Manor now.
Hoping to make Danny feel more settled, I start off with some pleasantries before going in with a soft question. How is he doing with all the attention that the event has been getting? It must be overwhelming.
Danny glances towards the front of the house where outside lies the front yard, the protective gate, and the press. “It is. I feel like I’m still getting used to living in a city as big as Gotham, so all of this suddenly… yeah, it’s a lot.”
Danny grew up in a much smaller city in central Illinois called Amity Park. He moved to Gotham in the late summer of last year to continue his education at Gotham University. It’s a change that he describes as good, even as overwhelming as it is.
“Gotham has been surprisingly easy to fall in love with. I can see why Gothamites are so protective of the city,” Danny explains with the first hint of a smile on his face that I’ve seen since I came through the doors.
When I ask him if he hopes to stay in Gotham long term, Danny glances at Jason and blushes faintly. “I’d like to, if I can find work. There’s a lot here worth staying for and the city is just part of that.”
The words cause the first blush I’ve seen on Jason’s cheeks since he was new to the Wayne family and a little overwhelmed himself. Clearly Jason is one of the things worth staying for.
We talk a little about how Danny likes the Wayne family. He admits that he’s still getting to know them. He’d only been introduced to most of the family at the end of last year, right before finals. Already, though, there are stories to be told about board games and good food. Beyond the Waynes, Danny has someone else very important in Gotham.
“Your sister is in town, isn’t she?” I ask. “I imagine having her here during this has been nice.”
“It is. I was actually supposed to go and see her after New Years, but obviously…” Danny clears his throat and Jason takes one of Danny’s hands in his. Danny instantly relaxes into Jason’s side. “But yeah, having her here is really nice.”
“I take it you two are close then?”
“She was my anchor growing up,” Danny says with a little smile that’s tinged with sadness. “I wish she hadn’t had to be. Now that I’m older I know how unfair that was to her, but I’m so lucky that she did. She could so easily resent me for it, but she doesn’t at all. It makes it really easy to love her.”
“Not that it’s hard,” Jason adds with a chuckle. “I think her and Dick have already made an oldest sibling club and Damian thinks both Nightingales hung the moon, I swear.”
“Speaking of Nightingale, that isn’t your original last name, is it?”
It’s been an item of note in the recent write ups on Danny that both of the siblings had changed their last name to Nightingale from their birth name of Fenton. Their parents, doctors both, still go by Fenton. In Gotham, at least, the Doctor Fentons would be described as mad scientists. The so-called ‘ectobiologists’ have made their life a study of ghosts. In Amity Park, ‘the most haunted town in America’, they’re just part of the atmosphere.
Danny sighs and glances away. “No. Jazz and I both changed our last names when we turned eighteen. Jazz had wanted me to change it and go with her when she turned eighteen, but she had this great scholarship for college and she’d taken care of me enough. I couldn’t put that on her too, so I refused to until I was eighteen.”
“So you didn’t actually emancipate yourself?”
“Nope. One day late for that. But I moved out the same day I changed my name.”
“How did your parents take that?”
A wry smile twists Danny’s lips. “They didn’t notice until months later when the lab had gotten too dirty.”
“The lab?”
“It was one of my chores to clean it; another thing that I get was messed up now that I’m older and away from there. We, um, think that it was my exposure to all those chemicals that made me a meta.”
By all accounts, Danny’s meta status is how he survived the electrocution. It’s a label that he looks slightly uncomfortable with.
“It’s not that I mind being a meta,” he’s quick to assure me. “It’s just that… what actually made me one was an accident in the lab. I was electrocuted.” He raises his left arm up. The overly large red sleeve pools down to reveal a branching network of faint silver scars tracing his skin. “It’s hard right now to think back to it, after what happened. I really didn’t know if I would survive… either time. I’m lucky that all I have are scars.”
“But you thought that you might survive.”
“I did,” Danny says with a little shrug. He seems almost at ease with that question, unlike Jason.
Jason has to take a moment to press a kiss to Danny’s temple.
“After the first time I was electrocuted,” Danny explains, “I became a little more resistant to electricity— little shocks and things. It’s not like I ever tested it out with anything big. I guess it was just a feeling I had.”
When I ask Danny if he’s alright to talk about the night of the party he looks stressed by the idea but still gives a little nod. As he points out, it is why I’m there.
“I was getting some fresh air,” Danny explains. He’s picking at the sweater again. “The night was really lovely, but it’s just not the sort of thing I’m used to, you know? So I just wanted a moment to gather myself. I guess… I guess they were already watching me, because they knocked me out before I even really knew they were there.
“I woke up strapped to a metal chair. They’d taken my shoes and socks off. I couldn't understand why, but then,” Danny has to pause here and take a moment. Jason pulls him closer. “Then I noticed that my feet were in water and there was a wire in the water too. The wire wasn’t live but it’s… I mean it wasn’t hard to put it all together.”
“That must have been terrifying.”
“Yeah.” Danny looks over at the windows and the gray winter day beyond them. “I didn’t know who had taken me or why. I could hear some people close, talking about waiting for a signal, but it wasn’t much. When my eyes adjusted I could see a camera on a tripod and a laptop. I didn’t know what was going on, not until it turned on.
“Two Face was on it. I guess you know I’m not a native Gothamite that it took me a moment to recognize him,” Danny said with a weak laugh. “He explained what he was doing.”
I ask Danny what his first thought was when hearing the plan.
“Worry for Jason. Which I know sounds insane, but I guess… I guess I had already accepted the circumstance I was in. I just didn’t want Jason to have to go through that choice.”
“And then Jason was on the screen.”
“Yeah.”
“Jason, what were you feeling at seeing Danny on the television?”
“What do you think?” Jason asks, frustration lacing through his voice. “I was pissed off. I was scared. I was… I hated myself.”
“Why?”
“Because Danny was only in that situation because he was dating a Wayne. Because he was dating me. And there he was, a few seconds from death, bleeding, and… and telling me that he loved me.”
While Danny sounds almost detached talking about it, possibly a coping mechanism, Jason sounds like every wound is still fresh. It paints a terrifying picture of what it’s like to be the one to die versus the one who presses the button.
I turn back to Danny. “You said something to Jason in the video after that. There's been a great deal of debate about your words. Do you feel alright discussing them.”
Danny nods. I read out the quote: You know what you have to do, don’t you?
“Danny, what did you mean?”
“That Jason had to press my button,” Danny says with surprising ease. It’s clear that the order was one that he still stands by.
I ask about that certainty.
Danny gives a little shrug. He tucks himself back further under Jason’s arm, but I'm certain that the move is more for Jason’s comfort. “It was me or a group of other people. That would have been enough. I would never put myself first like that, but then you add in Damian and Bruce being part of that group? I couldn’t ask Jason to choose me over his family and Jason knows I wouldn’t.”
What about the chance of survival?
“Jason and I had talked about my accident before. Death… it’s something we both get, you know? So we both knew that there could be a chance of me surviving, but there was never any guarantee.”
“Are you going on record that you told Jason to press the button, knowing it could kill you?”
“Absolutely.”
And how did that insistence make Jason feel? Right then it seems all Jason can do is curl up around Danny, as if he can shield him from the past.
“Fucking horrible. Danny just looked at the whole situation and made the choice for me. I don’t know, maybe I should think that was freeing, but I still had to press the button.”
I point out that he could have made the other choice and he just shakes his head. “And make Danny live with that? He had made his choice. He didn’t want to trade his life for theirs. I hated it, but what sort of person would I have been if I didn’t let Danny take control of his own life? I knew I wouldn’t be able to live with either choice, so at least… at least I could listen to Danny.”
So Jason had pressed the button, Danny had been electrocuted (he refused to speak on the experience), and Jason had attacked Two Face. The man had ended up with a broken jaw and fractures in the orbital rim. It was while Jason had been sobbing in his father’s arms that they had gotten the word from one of Gotham’s local heroes: Danny was still alive.
“What did I feel? Hope,” Jason said with an almost despairing laugh. “I don’t… hope and I don't do well these days, but I felt hope. I don’t know if I believed it until I was actually holding his hands.”
“I was a little out of it when they got there,” Danny admits, which seems more than fair considering everyone else would have been dead. “But I’m so grateful to Nightwing and the paramedics taking care of me and letting me see Jason before the hospital. I really… I really needed him right then.”
And now?
“I’d like to say that I’m alright, but,” Danny shrugs, “it’s a lot to go through. But I know I’ll be alright. Jason and his family are amazing and I have Jazz here. I’ll keep healing, physically and mentally, and so will Jason. I know the internet has a lot to say about it all, but I think they need to understand that this turned out the best way that it could have.”
Jason kisses Danny’s temple again with a slight smile. He seems to be in agreement with everything his boyfriend said.
“I suppose I have just one more question,” I say after a moment of looking over my notes. “Why do you call Danny ‘fish’?”
I don’t get an answer, but maybe hearing those two able to laugh so soon after such a traumatic event is better than a story.

AN: *flops dramatically* darlings, this chapter is finally done! Thank you to @chromatographic and @mokulule for cheer/beta reading for me. This one was really hard to write since it's out of the normal style wise for me, but it felt like the best way to tell the story right there.
I hope you enjoy it!

Not sure if you've been asked this before, but can you recommend some good Kwami swap fics?
Sure! I dunno whether you just mean Adrien and Marinette sapping kwamis, so I'll list anyone using kwamis that are different from their normal canon ones.
---
Auspicious by The_Rabbit42
Entry #6 for AU April 2023: Reverse-Crush Kwami-Swap Adrien is quiet and reserved whenever he’s not consumed by stress. And between extracurriculars and modeling and his responsibilities as Mister Bug, he’s often stressed. He appreciates his kitten, but he loves his bright and outgoing classmate. Not that she knows that. Marinette’s parents have always allowed her a good deal of independence, but she’s felt her confidence skyrocket since getting Plagg. Simply being Lady Noire allows her to be more flirty and free. She likes her friends, but she loves her stoic and heroic partner. Not that he knows that.
This is just a lovely fic that’s exactly what it says on the tin. I like how Rabbit goes into what Lady Noire’s and Mister Bug’s dynamic is like here especially.

Thanks, But No by @pauliestorylover
For every miraculous that Fu cupped in his palms, an image of the same blue-eyed girl flashed through his mind. Marinette Dupain-Cheng was born to hold the miraculous—she resonated with every single one of them far better than even the late Celestial Guardian, and it was Fu’s duty as the last Guardian not to allow such talent to slip through his hands.
Too bad Marinette wasn’t on the same page.
Or; au where Master Fu keeps throwing miraculous at Marinette hoping one will stick, Marinette goes around handing out miraculous like candy, and Wayzz has never seen anything so ridiculous in his millennia-long lifespan.
This one’s fun. Everyone except for Adrien ends up with a different Miraculous than in canon, and it’s really interesting to see how they all adapt. Marinette’s thorough noping out is pretty funny too, and there’s some sweet bits of Adrino and Alyanette in here!
---
Crepes and Petals by @fruitdragon1a
Alya and Marinette have been friends ever since that fateful first day in collège. Scarabella and Lady Noire have been friends ever since they started fighting crime together at the age of fourteen. Alya and Lady Noire? Their friendship is newer-- and Alya wishes it were more.
---
instant familiarity by @fragileizy
“We must’ve told each other everything,” Adrien whispers. “I couldn’t imagine being able to take photos with you like this and not fall in love with you.” Marinette’s face goes red again. “You know? In some really weird way, I’m really glad that the two of us lost our memories together. It’s not so bad falling in love with someone you care about for a second time.”
---
theory bored by @14muffinz
You’re not supposed to theorise about who your partner is, Tikki had scolded, glaring at Luka as he continued to map out his entire theory, abbreviating as many miraculous-related names as he could feasibly remember. To be fair, it’s a lot, so it’s not like this would be much if anyone were to get their hands on it. He’d sighed, capped his marker, and turned around as though he was going to clean up the board. And then, because Tikki unfortunately taught him just how stubborn he could get if he really wanted to, he calls for his transformation while facing the other way. [OR: Ladybug Luka, Black Cat Juleka, and a reveal.]

The Unluckiest Cat In Paris by @aidanchaser
Mister Bug has always been a hero, and his partner Lady Noire has always stood by his side--until he has to face a future where he betrayed Paris and his partner is trying to kill him. Kwami Swap AU - Chatte Blanche
---
Down on Her Luck by Proper_Prose
Exhausted from her most recent Akuma (which she most definitely did not cause), Chloe has a heart to heart moment with her kwami. Hopefully it goes better than the other times.
---
The Cat’s Out of the Purse by The_Rabbit42
Adrien just took the ring off to be safe. Plagg just got bored and wanted to annoy Tikki. Rose just opened her purse and SURPRISE! Ladybug just wants to get the ring back to her partner.
This was a fun fic, never seen Rose and Plagg interact like this before! It’s a treat getting more Rose and Plagg focus in general of course, but I really like their relationship here. Plagg’s really good with his wielders in general, and I love how he emphasizes that while he needs to get back to Chat Noir, while Rose is transformed with him, she’s as much her own wielder as he is. It reminds me of how he acted with Zoe, Plagg’s just a treasure XD
---
as luck would have it by @silver-hibiscus
It’s Adrien’s birthday, and there’s an akuma attack. Luckily, Ladybug and Chat Noir are there to save the day! Even if they’re not the heroes that we’re familiar with… Not so much a kwami swap as an another au entirely.
Same title as one of my own fics, funnily enough! Though entirely different premise. This is a Gabenath fic, with Gabriel as Chat Noir and Nathalie as Ladybug, complete with a lovesquare and some unspecified other person as Hawk Moth. In this version, Gabriel and Emilie had some terrible fights and were separated, with Gabriel realizing along the way that he’d been a distant father and working to rectify that, he’s a pretty decent person here. I could actually kind of see this being a feasible path Gabriel could have gone down, if he wasn’t so desperate to revive Emilie and hadn’t gone so far to try to distance himself from who he was and where he came from back before he met Emilie and started changing to fit in with the upper class.
---
Fortississimo by @azuriteartist
Juleka and Luka are the Ladybug and Black Cat holders, but a fearful akuma requires them to ask for help from a new source.
---
Scarlet Fever by @chronicallylatetotheparty
Papillon Écarlate has managed the impossible. He's akumatized Marinette. Now with an army of supervillains and no Ladybug to stop him victory seems inevitable. Unless Adrien can stop him. But will he be enough when his own mentor doubts him?

Miraculous Paradise - Chapter 13 - Call to War
Beginning || Previous || Next
Gabriel entered his office after seeing Adrien to his room. He locked the door and strolled over to his desk. He took out his phone and scrolled through the contacts to Nathalie. He hesitated for a moment before he dialed the number. It rang once before Nathalie picked up.
“This better be an emergency, sir,” Nathalie remarked.
            “Did you see the news?”
“You mean the fairy and her side bitch preaching the end times? Yes, I saw that foolishness.”
“Did their faces look familiar to you?”
A long pause. “Yes. They looked like Emilie.”
“One of them was. The other I’ve no doubt is Amelie.”
“Well, isn’t that wonderful. I see your wife has finally gone off the deep end. Not that she would have taken the news about Adrien well regardless.”
Gabriel frowned. “Nathalie, I have a big favor to ask you. Something that I can only trust to you.”
“Right. What is it this time?”
            “Whatever happens, stop us.”
            “Us?”
“I cannot go against Emilie. It’s painfully obvious why she does this and I cannot take a stand against her. However, you are not bound as I am. You are free to act accordingly. Please, don’t allow for this ‘Paradise’ she speaks of to be created. Help the little ladybug girl stop both sides of this war. Help her stop Emilie, me, Amelie… and Felix.”
“So, it wasn’t just me then. The ‘Cat Noir’ guy was Felix.”
“There’s no doubt. The way he walks, talks, everything is Felix. I’ve no doubt that Colt put him to this for the good of the business.”
“Then who is that woman with him?”
“I’m not sure. Far as I’m aware, Felix doesn’t have any partners. I’ve heard whispers from Colt and Emilie’s parents about arrangements for an auspicious match for Felix, but nothing beyond that. Perhaps that’s who she is?”
Nathalie snorted. “Let me know when that conversation happens. I would love to see the utter shitshow that becomes.”
“Will you settle for a recording?”
“I suppose so. Colt is notorious for just springing things on people after all.”
“Indeed. Hence why I believe he roped Felix into this. As for the fox lady, I’ve no idea who that would be.”
“I see. I’m sure I can find out. Shouldn’t be too difficult for me and my assistant.”
            “Then you’ll do it?”
“Of course. I’ve never been a religious nut as such the prospect of Paradise doesn’t entice me in the slightest. Not to mention I’ve grown rather fond of the finer things in life thanks to being in your employment. Granted you’ve treated me better than most of your employees.”
Gabriel chuckled. “You can thank Emilie for that one. She made sure you were treated well for all that you do.”
Nathalie laughed. “I better enjoy it while it lasts. Can’t imagine she’ll take too kindly should she find out I’m opposing her. But that does beg the question, what exactly will you do sir?”
“I will support her in any way possible. Even if it means becoming whatever it is that she has become.”
“I see. If you are willing to go that far, you’ll need to be ready to fight, Gabriel. This is war now and all is fair. No one will pull their punches, so you can’t either. Do you understand?”
            “Regrettably.”
            “Good. Tread carefully, sir.”
Nathalie ended the call. Gabriel sighed and sat in silence. He mentally prepared himself for Emilie’s return and the conversation that would follow.

            “Quickly! In here!” Luna called.
Hope and Huntress rendezvoused with Luna with Cat Noir tied up in Hope’s yo-yo. They disappeared into an abandoned building where Odette and Luna waited with one of Bridgette’s illusion copies dressed in a dark purple hanfu robe lined with black fur, a fox eye mask, ears, and nine tails. Huntress placed Cat Noir down, but Hope kept him tied up.
“Oh, lovely. Now that we’re all together, what the fuck were you thinking, fleabag?” Bridgette yelled at Cat Noir.
“Right back at you, slag. I don’t need you messing things up for me with your little lies. I’m here to keep Paradise from happening and don’t need to be associated with you.”
“Then you should have thought of that before you came in destroyed the whole ass cathedral. Fuck’s sake there was nothing left. At least I was leaving pieces of it to send a small message. But that’s not enough for you, is it? You needed to destroy the whole damn thing!”
“And what fool wouldn’t? Why let them keep their so-called sanctuary? Might as well burn it all to the ground now.”
Luna bounced over and intervened. “Sorry to interrupt your squabble, but fighting over it now isn’t going to help. Plus, your thread is turning gray.”
            “Thread?” Cat Noir asked.
“Yup. Forgive me. I am Luna, the rabbit of connection. I’m able to see the threads that connect us all. And right now, your white thread is darkening, and I’d rather avoid that. After all, we can’t afford to fight amongst ourselves.”
“I second that. We need to be in tip top condition if we’re going to pull off our plan,” Odette added.
“What plan? What have you lot concocted?” Cat Noir demanded.
“We’ve been presented with an interesting opportunity after that show. As far as the people see it, Armageddon has begun. The servants of the Lord have arrived and are here to combat the Devil’s minions. The servants being the Paradise holders and the demons are you and Void. You with me so far?” Huntress asked.
“I am. You’re insisting that we play the villains to combat the real enemy,” Cat Noir said.
“Yes and no. Part of us will play the part of the demons, but also the heroes. This is where Hope fits in. See, while a majority of the people easily recognize the war of good and evil about to take place, they are unsure of the ‘little ladybug girl.’ All the while, they pray that she will be their true salvation.”
“And what difference does that make?” Cat Noir demanded.
“Well, what is the one thing stronger than fear?”
Cat Noir scoffed. “There is nothing stronger than fear.”
Huntress considered. “Oh? Is that so? Then prove it.”
            “Excuse me?”
Huntress grinned. “You heard me, old man. Prove to us that there is nothing stronger than fear with your accomplice, Void.”
Cat Noir opened his mouth but was interrupted by Odette.
“I bet he can’t do it. Man doesn’t know what fear really is. He’s just a spoiled rich boy.”
Cat Noir’s ears pinned back while his tail lashed. He attempted to speak again but was cut off by Luna.
“Maybe we should find some others. Surely there are other holders or people worthy that would help meet our goals better than him.”
“Hold up, you little brats. Don’t dare to speak about me like you know who I am. None of you know what I am capable of.”
“See, you’re wrong. From what I see, you’re the heir to a wonderful fortune who had his childhood robbed of him. You were to be molded into the perfect clone of your father if not for your mother. Even then, you desperately cling to the parts of her you picked up but can’t escape the fact that you’re nothing more than another of your father,” Odette surmised.
Cat Noir’s head snapped around to Odette. “How do you… how do you know all this?”
Odette bowed. “I am Odette, swan of soul. All souls are laid bare for my eyes. Your deepest secrets are no longer safe before me.”
Void snorted. “Daddy issues? Is that all?”
Cat Noir turned and hissed at Void. “Drop it! I don’t want to hear another word of this. Do you all hear me?”
“Then prove yourself, rich boy. Prove that through your pampered, silver spoon lifestyle you can compete with a mere commoner,” Void challenged.
“Too easy. I’ll have you eating your own words before the sun comes up.”
“Good. That means we can start now, and you can-!”
Hope moved between Void and Cat Noir. She stomped her foot and glowered at them.
Void sighed. “Right. We start tomorrow.”
Cat Noir laughed. “Perfect. I can get a head start tonight and-.”
Hope heel turned and glared at Cat Noir. He had a stare down with her, then sighed.
            “Fine. I’ll wait until tomorrow.”
Hope looked over at Odette, who gave a thumbs up. Hope nodded and released Cat Noir from her yo-yo.
“Alright, now here’s the plan. We’re going to play their game. Void and Cat Noir will be the ‘demons’ who will cause as much destruction and devastation as possible. The ‘servants’ will combat the demons while Hope and the rest of us safeguard the people,” Huntress explained.
“And if other holders should appear?” Cat Noir asked.
“Well, we kinda play that part by ear. But, if we can, we sway them to our side. Especially any Paradise holders that pop up.”
“Right. We’ll see how that goes,” Cat Noir remarked.
“It’ll be alright. We got this!” Luna cheered.
Cat Noir rolled his eyes. “Well, as much as I’d love to stay here, I’d rather not. See you lot tomorrow.”
The girls watched as Cat Noir and Void exchanged dirty looks before he left. Odette and Huntress grinned while Luna and Hope looked worried.
“I’ll see you back at home, Hope,” Void said and vanished.
“Hey, Huntress, bet you ten euro they fuck,” Odette said.
            “Odette! How dare-!” Luna started.
“Let’s sweeten the pot. For every month they don’t, we add ten more in and whoever month it is, gets the jackpot,” Huntress interrupted.
            “Huntress? You too?” Luna demanded.
“What? Either they’ll kill each other or sleep together. Either way, it’ll be hilarious to watch.”
            Hope gave Huntress the side-eye.
“Oh, relax, girl. It’s just some harmless fun. We won’t do anything to egg them on,” Huntress promised.
“No need to. They’ll do that themselves,” Odette remarked.
            Hope grimaced and looked away.
Huntress put a hand on Hope’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, girl. We’re here and so are you. We all have Void’s back. Promise.”
Hope looked at Huntress’s hand, then at Huntress with a smile. She hugged Huntress and let out a heavy breath.
“Let’s head back to your apartment. I think this calls for a sleepover. Do you agree?”
Hope considered and nodded. She gestured for them to follow as they returned to her place.
~~
“Oh, this is bad. This is bad, this is bad, this is so very bad!” Sabrina yelled.
Chloe raised a brow as Sabrina fumbled for her whistle and blew it between deep breaths.
“What do we do? What can we do? I can’t believe this. I just-!”
            “Just use the whistle.”
Sabrina nodded and blew her safety whistle.
Chloe hummed and looked at the floor. Since the news broadcast had started, the peacock woman was so familiar to her, but she couldn’t place it. That was until the fairy showed up. She couldn’t see it immediately in the fairy’s face, but she heard it in the voice and how the fairy spoke. It was Emilie Agreste. It was seeing Emilie as that fairy that she had realized that the peacock had to be Amelie Graham de Vanily. It was even more obvious when she saw them side-by-side.
Chloe clung to a pillow as she reflected on the twin’s words. They would be ushering in whatever Paradise was and clearly had the power to do it. It was a foolish idea that would surely end in ruin, but a part of her hoped otherwise. Perhaps, if they created Paradise, then Adrien would be saved. Maybe they could save her childhood friend and brother.
A knock interrupted Chloe’s thoughts. She headed to answer it when Zoe’s voice came from the other side.
“Everything alright? I heard Sabrina’s stupid whistle from my room.”
Chloe sneered. “Everything is just fine. Run back to your room and do whatever you were doing.”
“Right. Sabrina, are you alright? Is Chloe being nice?” Zoe asked.
“O-oh, yes! She’s being wonderful. We just saw something terrifying.”
“Wow, Chloe. Making Sabrina watch scary movies, are you? I knew you didn’t give a shit, but treating your girlfriend that way? You’re pathetic.”
Chloe scowled. “Fuck off, brat! No one wants you here. You were just a fucking mistake of a one-night affair with some lowly American peasant!”
“At least Mom remembers my name unlike you. Are you sure you weren’t the mistake that trapped Audrey in a loveless marriage with Andre?”
Chloe’s jaw dropped. She fumbled the lock and flung the doors open, but Zoe was long gone. She growled, slammed the doors, and locked them again. She plopped down on the couch with her arms crossed and a terrible sneer on her face.
Sabrina looked away as they sat in silence. She waited a few minutes before she spoke.
“Chloe? What do you think we should do?”
A pause. “I want to help them?”
            “You… what?”
“I know you don’t know them as well as I do, but that was Emilie and Amelie. I also have no doubt that they’re doing this all for Adrien. After all, he’s only got a year left to live.”
Sabrina gasped. “He does? Why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
            “I just… I didn’t want to talk about it.”
Sabrina moved closer. “Chloe, please. Don’t bottle this. I know you love Adrien, and this news must hurt.”
Tears fell from Chloe’s eyes. “Well, of course, it does! Adrien was my first friend and my brother. I spent years with him, hoping he’d survive. I hoped he’d live a long life and we’d live them out together as family. But now I’m going to lose him in a year. And it’s not fucking fair! Why him? Why did he have to be born sick? Why does he have to die so young?”
Sabrina grimaced as Chloe broke down into sobbing fits. She held Chloe and comforted her. She wished she could help her more, but there wasn’t anything she could do. Not about Adrien. This was the only thing she could do, and it cut her deep.
“He doesn’t have to. Not if you help with the creation of Paradise,” a woman’s voice said.
Chloe and Sabrina gasped as they looked around. They eyed a pair of orbs that materialized and morphed into a pair of kwamis, a bee and a dog.
“What the fuck are you creatures?” Chloe demanded.
The bee kwami bowed. “I am Pollen, kwami of devotion. We are godly creatures that are capable of the miracles that you mortals pray for.”
“Yup, yup. And I’m Barkk, kwami of love.”
“O-kay. And just why are you two here?”
            “What else? Paradise!” Barkk squealed.
“That and we were drawn to you too. Not like how we would be with very special individuals. No, your desires call to us. You each want a miracle,” Pollen added.
            “I’m not sure-,” Sabrina started.
Chloe jumped up. “Yes! Can you save Adrien?”
“Not exactly. What I can do is help you to help the Paradise set to create the Paradise that’ll save Adrien,” Pollen said.
Chloe’s eyes lit up. “Yes. Yes, yes, yes!”
“Chloe? Maybe we should-?” Sabrina attempted.
“And for you, puppy, I can help you so you can help the one you love with all your heart, so she won’t be sad anymore,” Barkk interrupted.
Sabrina’s breath caught, but she hesitated. “I’m not sure.”
“Oh, please, my darling pet, won’t you help? Pretty please.”
Sabrina sighed. “Alright. For you, my Queen.”
Chloe clapped and hugged Sabrina. “Oh, thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
            “Ready, ladies?” Pollen asked.
            “Ready!” Chloe declared.
Pollen summoned a hair comb and gave it to Chloe while Barkk summoned a collar necklace and gave it to Sabrina.
“Put these on and you’ll need to speak our transformation phrases,” Barkk explained.
Chloe and Sabrina nodded and put on the jewels. Sabrina stared at her necklace as fear grew within her. Chloe noticed Sabrina’s unease and took her hand. Chloe gave Sabrina a reassuring smile before she looked at the kwamis.
“Now, to transform, say, ‘Pollen, buzz on.’”
“And for me, it’s, ‘Barkk, let’s play.’”
            “Ready?” Chloe asked Sabrina.
            Sabrina nodded. “Barkk, let’s play.”
            “Pollen, buzz on.”
Zoe sat outside the door as she listened in. She frowned when it went silent. She waited a moment longer before she sighed and returned to her room. She stood against the door before she stomped to her bed. She grabbed a nearby pillow and tore it apart. She vented all her rage and hatred of Adrien onto it until she ripped it into a pile of feathers.
Zoe seethed a while longer before she collapsed onto her bed. It wasn’t fair. All Chloe cared about was Adrien and not her. Chloe called him her brother, her sibling, but not Zoe, her actual sister. Now Chloe was going to side with the stupid zealots from the news just to save Adrien. Something she knew Chloe would never do for her.
A tear fell from Zoe’s eyes and she screamed. She grabbed another pillow and flung it around into furniture and the walls. She hated the zealots that promised their stupid Paradise. She hated that Chloe didn’t love her. She hated that everyone treated her with indifference. But above all, she despised Adrien.
The pillow exploded into a shower of feathers. Zoe huffed and fell to the floor. More tears fell before the dam broke and they poured from her eyes.
“Poor, sweet child. Abandoned and betrayed by all those around her,” a woman’s voice said.
            Zoe gasped. “Who’s there?”
The shadows converged and morphed into a black spider kwami with many yellow eyes. Zoe recoiled at the sight of the kwami.
“Greetings, child. I am Silkii, kwami of betrayal.”
“Kwami? You’re what those creatures that approached Chloe and Sabrina are?”
“Indeed. And I approach you with a similar offer as I wish to help you.”
Zoe scoffed. “What price would you ask?”
“Come now, dear. There is no price. At least not one you aren’t already paying in some form or another. Besides, wouldn’t you want to put an end to all your troubles? To Adrien Agreste?”
            “You can do that?”
“You can. And to sweeten the deal, you can actively hinder your loathsome sister. Make her pay for everything.”
            “I can? How?”
“See, she is in possession of devotion, my opposite. Which means, any followers she gains with her powers, you’ll be able to severe those threads with upmost ease.”
“What about the bonds she has with other people?”
“Oh, yes. Even those too. No bonds of loyalty are safe once we bind.”
Zoe’s eyes lit up. “I’ll do it. I want to make them pay.”
Silkii grinned. She summoned an anklet and gave it to Zoe. Zoe quickly put on the jewel.
“Now, to seal this covenant, utter the phrase, ‘Silkii, sever the thread.’”
            “Silkii, sever the thread!”
~~
“Sass? Sass, are you there?” Adrien quietly called.
A loud sigh came from around Adrien as Sass materialized as a human.
“What can I help you with?” Sass asked.
            “I have questions.”
Sass deadpanned. “Of course, you do.”
“Did you see what happened earlier?”
            “Unfortunately.”
“How were those people the way they were? The fairy, the peacock, and the ladybug.”
“That would be another function of my kind. We can bind with mortals to give them a fraction of our power.”
Adrien’s eyes lit up. “Can we transform?”
            Sass stiffened. “Why?”
“I want to help the ladybug girl. I want to keep Paradise from being made, like you wanted.”
Sass’s eyes widened as he raised his brows. “Do you now? You know you’ll paint a target on you if you do. Don’t forget that we are a component of Paradise, and they’ll do whatever it takes to sway you.”
“They can try, but they can’t offer me anything. Not when you made your terms clear.”
“Huh. Then why don’t we see if you truly are up to the task. If your convictions are where you claim.”
            “How do I do that?”
“To put yourself through the gauntlet, speak the phrase, ‘Sass, scales slither.’”
“You got it. Sass, scales slither.”

Discover the Top 5 Stories of Raksha Bandhan
Tumblr media
Raksha Bandhan is one of the most auspicious festivals celebrated in Hinduism. The people of India wait eagerly for the festival to celebrate the bond of brother and sister. This August 19th, India will celebrate the bond of siblings with great pomp and grandeur. However, Hindu people came to know about this ever-glorious day dedicated to naughty people, famously known as brothers and sisters in Hinduism. We at Vedic Story have discovered some incredible tales that explain the origin of Raksha Bandhan. Let’s unearth together!
1. The Story of Shubh, Labh, and Goddess Santoshi
Lord Ganesha was thrilled and waited for the arrival of Goddess Manasa to celebrate Raksha Bandhan together.
Manasa Devi reached Kailash, and Ganesha was welcomed happily. Ganesha sat on a mat, and Manasa, the daughter of Lord Shiva, tied a colorful thread to Ganesha’s wrist.
Seeing this happiness, Shubh and Labh wanted to feel the same as their father, Ganesha. However, they didn’t have any sisters to feel the love and bond of brother and sister.
Shubh and Labh were angry with the fact that they had no younger sister who could shower such pure love on them.
On the other hand, Ganesha came to know about his son’s anger and fury with him. Ganesha asked his sons if they should stop sulking with him for this reason. Shubh and Labh did not agree with their father and began to beg for a sister. They wanted to experience the happiness and feeling of being loved and participate in Raksha Bandhan as their father.
2. The Birth of Goddess Santoshi, Sister of Shubh Labh
After considering the facts and experiencing the need for a daughter in Kailash, Ganesha was convinced.
He created the goddess Santoshi. Thus, Shubh and Labh became brothers, and Ganesha became the father of a daughter. Thereafter, the brothers enjoyed Rakhi with their sister when she tied a colorful, eye-catching thread to their wrists.
3. The Story of Krishna and Draupadi
Krishna and Draupadi are the most prominent characters in the epic Mahabharata. Krishna always called Draupadi his friend and suggested doing whatever she considered good for her and her dharma. Their friendship was famous in the entire Aryavrat region.
However, one such incident happened that became a turning point in Drapadi’s life.
Once, Krishna visited Indraprastha to attend the Yagna of Yuthishthir. They were enjoying an afternoon one day. Krishna, Arjun, and Draupadi were flying kites. Suddenly, a thread cut Krishna’s finger. Blood was flowing. Draupadi saw and felt the pain of her friend and immediately tore her sari to bandage his wound.
Krishna felt love and gratitude for having such a caring friend. He promised to repay her in some way in his life.
The Great Insult of Draupadi at Kuru Kingdom
Duryodhan planned to insult Draupadi for insulting him while he was in Indraprastha. He invited the Pandavas and Draupadi and defeated them all in the game of chess. Duryodhan ordered Dushashan to naked Draupadi at the court of the Kuru Kingdom.
Krishna was at war, but he knew that his friend was in pain and needed her. He rescued Draupadi from being naked with the sari; she bandaged Krishna’s finger miraculously.
Mahabharata, the War of Kurukshetra
To avenge the insult of Draupadi, Pandavas hoisted the Mahabharata with Kuru Rasthra and the sons of Dhritrastra.
Draupadi tied Rakhi to Krishna’s wrist before they went for the great Mahabharata war.
Kunti also tied a thread of protection (Rakhi) to her grandson, Abhimanyu.
4. Yudhishthir tied Rakhi to the Pandavas
King Yudhisthir tied Rakhi to his young Pandava brother’s wrists as per the advice of Krishna to protect them from the impending doom.
Krishna advised Yudhishthir to perform puja on the full moon of the Shravan month and tie a thread to his brother’s hand for protection.
5. Yamuna tied Rakhi to Yama, the God of Death
According to another ancient legend, Yamuna wanted Yama, the God of Death, to visit her, as he had visited her for a long time. Yama visited Yamuna on Raksha Bandhan. Yamuna was happy to see her brother and performed puja, offering him sweet and great hospitality. Yama gave her the precious gift of a promise to protect her forever. He also declared that any brother who receives a Rakhi from his sister will be blessed with immortality.
Therefore, the story of Rakha Bandhan is not only sacred, but it is also a powerful bond of protection and love between the siblings.

Merit Multiplying Days
In consultation with the Tibetan lunar calendar, we observe four significant dates that commemorate the deeds of the Buddha. These are said to be astrologically powerful dates because of the Buddha's qualities, which are unsurpassable in virtue and wisdom.
According to the Vinaya text, "Treasure of Quotations and Logic", all actions done on these special days are magnified by 100 million times. Some sutras further mention that the merit increases by ONE BILLION times. Hence they are referred to as merit multiplying days.
Bearing the exponential effects in mind and through understanding
how karma works, these are highly favourable days for accumulating as much merit as possible, while striving to avoid negative actions.
The four merit multiplying events of the year:
• Display of Miracles
The start of the Tibetan New Year-Losar—is considered to be a very auspicious period. The first 15 days of the New Year coincide with an episode in Shravasti, when Shakyamuni Buddha performed 15 days of miracles in response to a challenge from six tirthikas [non-Buddhist adepts] who were sceptical of the Buddha's abilities.
That triumphant display culminated on the 15th day, on the full moon. Due to witnessing the Buddha's feats, many people and beings of the god realms gained faith in the teachings and attained liberation. The 15 days of the Display of Miracles comes around February to March.
* Saka Dawa 15th
Shakyamuni Buddha achieved enlightenment in Bodhgaya and passed into nirvana in Kushinagar. All Buddhist traditions observe the 15th full moon day of the 4th month as the day of these two exalted deeds of the Buddha. In the Tibetan astrological system, the 15th day of Saka Dawa [Tibetan for 4th month] falls in mid-June. Typically, the entire 30 days of Saka Dawa are celebrated in the Tibetan tradition, with many prayer ceremonies held in the monasteries throughout the
* Wheel Turning Day
Upon showing the aspect of achieving enlightenment at Bodhgaya, the Buddha did not teach immediately. Only later at Varanasi, on the 4th day of the 6th month, did the Buddha accept the request made by the god Brahma to bestow the teachings. In Deer Park, he taught the Four Noble Truths to his first five disciples and 80,000 gods, and this came to be known as the First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma.
Wheel Turning Day is celebrated in July.
* Descent from the Heaven of the 33
Mahamaya, the Buddha's mother, was reborn as a god in the Heaven of the 33. The Buddha ascended to this god realm where his mother was, as well as other god realms, to benefit the beings there with the Dharma. Then the Buddha's close disciple Maudgalyayana begged that they return to Earth, which they did, descending upon Sankasya where the Buddha then imparted the teachings to a large assembly of people. This 22nd day of the 9th month usually falls in November.

Practice on the Four Great Holy Days
There are four great holy days in the Tibetan Buddhist Calendar, each of which celebrates an anniversary of Shakyamuni Buddha’s display of extraordinary powerful deeds for sentient beings’ sake. On these four days, karmic results of actions are multiplied by 100 million, as taught in the vinaya text Treasure of Quotations and Logic.
* The Fifteen Days of Miracles (Days 1–15 of Month 1; Day 15 is called Chotrul Duchen): Guru Shakyamuni Buddha shows miraculous powers in order to subdue six tirthikas, or non-Buddhist teachers, who lacked faith in him, and to inspire more faith in his followers.
* Saka Dawa Duchen (Day 15 of Month 4): Guru Shakyamuni Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana. On this day, karmic results are multiplied by 300 million times as it commemorates Shakyamuni Buddha’s three major life events.
* Chokhor Duchen (Day 4 of Month 6): Guru Shakyamuni Buddha’s first teaching.
* Lhabab Duchen (Day 22 of Month 9): Guru Shakyamuni Buddha’s return to Earth from the God Realm of the Thirty-Three after teaching Dharma for several months to the gods there, including his mother, Mayadevi, who had died a week after Buddha’s birth and been reborn there.

Today on the auspicious day of shivratri, there was a jagrata in our local temple and I didn't have much excitement to go there. But my parents were going so I went there with them. There was a separate section for ladies and gents. For the first half hour I was mesmerized in the bhajans and kirtan but then my vision goes to the ladies side where I don't know if it is true but I believe I saw Adishakti(joint of Shiva and maa Parvati) wearing green kurta and red bangles that newlywed bride wears. After some time I saw kids playing and in them shree Ganesh ji and Kartikeya ji. I know I may be mad but it was just a miraculous moment for me. Is

This really bother me why Yeon didn't finish the embroidery she was sewing for Seon-ho? I mean, did Yeon regret it or did circumstances not allow her to complete her gift for him?And one more thing, I think from episode 9 (where she was waiting for Seon-ho in her room and looked at the embroidery) to episode 10 (where Seon-ho found it in her room) the thread place changed, either meaning she touched it or at least continued a bit of it.Does anyone have an explanation for this?
Here cranes are often depicted flying through the clouds. Since ancient times, clouds, along with the sun, moon, stars and wind, were considered sacred elements of nature. Clouds were especially revered by agricultural societies, who accepted them as auspicious symbols of longevity and abundance. As we know, cranes and clouds are real things from the natural world. But when they are combined in these designs, they take on a mystical symbolism that represents miraculous power and conveys the desire for longevity. Such designs tend to have a lot of free space and therefore express a sense of freedom and unrestrainedness. And also cranes was prince of birds in Chinese culture if I don't tell it wrong(what I remember from a text on internet)
This is a text I red about symbol of cranes and clouds,my heart was aching whenever I read it(I'm talking about that part says about desire for longevity, so it means Yeon wish him live long?)
Every time I watch that scene when Seon-ho found embroidery (and then he was sobbing and turn to a dead person who just live and not alive and other things happened) I wanna shout and cry because this man really suffered more than how much a human can bear. I have to say I breathed a sigh of relief when he died because he finally got some rest.

Exploring the word CHAKRAVARTIN and its symbolic associations:
The term chakravartin, usually translated as 'universal monarch or emperor', literally means 'wheel-turner' or 'a wheel that travels everywhere without obstruction'. The prefix 'chakra' or wheel is a familar term but has various interpretations. It can refer to the fiery wheel of the sun, or the sun god's chariot of two wheels (heaven and earth), which rides through the sky drawn by seven horses, representing the seven days of the week. As an emblem of Vishnu it is the discus, which appears as an auspicious sign on the palms and soles of divine beings. As a unit of land measure the chakra refers to the whole of a land's surface area, from coast to coast. This is implied in descriptions of the chakra touching the rim of the horizon, or the encircling perimeter of land seen as a disc from a central vantage point. The turning of the wheel symbolises both secular and religious authority; it denotes change, movement, extension, conquest, and the formation of a new ethical and moral order. The deliverance and transmission of the Buddhist teachings are known as 'turning the wheel of dharma'.
When Shakyamuni Buddha was born the great seer Asita interpreted the miraculous events and auspicious marks on the baby's body as divine indications that the child was destined to become either a chakravartin or an enlightened Buddha; temporal or spiritual sovereignty lay in the child's destiny. There was a choice, the pendulum could swing either way. It was for this reason that Shakyamuni's father, King Shuddhodana, endeavoured to keep his son away from the harsh realities of life, cocooning him in the opulence of sensual gratification and the illusion that youth, vitality, and beauty are eternal delights. Curiosity beckoned the young prince to venture beyond his golden cage, where he witnessed the god sent apparitions of old age, disease, and death. The realisation that suffering was man's lot tore asunder the illusory veil of eternalism and materialism. What could it profit a man to gain the whole world if in the end one's soul was lost in the deterioration of old age, disease, and death and decompostion? In the face of such blatant impermanence there was no longer any choice for the young prince. World domination was the ultimate illusion; only self-enquiry into the root cause of suffering and the nature of the mind, the eternal quest, could lead to the ultimate understanding of reality.
The concept of the chakravartin probably arose from the Vaishnavite ideal of the mahapurusha or 'great man', which in turn had its origins in the Vedic and Puranic epics of ancient India. Such a being is destined to become a world leader and, like the Buddha, there can only be one chakravartin in the world at any one time. Auspicious events and astrological configurations precede the birth of a chakravartin, reminding one of the journey of the three Magi to Jesus's birthplace seeking the one 'who would be born king of the Jews'. The role of the Messiah in ancient Judaism also referred to both a temporal and spiritual sovereignty.
Thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks appear on the body of a chakravartin. These include: slightly webbed fingers and toes; retracted sexual organs; a fleshy protuberance (ushnisha) on the head; lion-like chest, thighs, and jaws; soft smooth skin; pliant hands and feet; and a thousand spoked wheel mark on the soles of the feet. The mother of a chakravartin usually dies shortly after his birth, as was the case with Queen Maya, Shakyamuni's mother. A total eclipse of the sun is believed to coincide with the death of the chakravartin as the sun itself is represented as the personification of the chakravartin. The Asiatic concept of the 'solar death' of the chakravartin finds a parallel in the midday darkness at Jesus's crucifixion, which is believed to have been
caused by a total eclipse of the sun. The birth of a chakravartin heralds the onset of seven wealths or abundances which arise in the realm: a wealth of faith, morality, honesty, modesty, learning, renunciation, and wisdom. At the time of his birth his seven precious jewels or possessions also appear simultaneously: the precious wheel, jewel, queen, minister elephant, horse, and general. These seven possessions are the property of the chakravartin, and karmically come into existence as his mandala The wheel and jewel are both symbols of his temporal and spiritual majesty, and the miraculous means of its accomplishment. The horse and elephant, as symbols of inexhaustible speed and strength, are his vehicles. The queen, minister and general are his trinity of love wisdom, and power, their fidelity, his blessing.
An auxiliary or lesser group of seven royal jewels also acompanies the rule of the chakravartin. These are the sword, the naga skin, the throne, the robes, the boots, the royal house ar palace, and the palace gardens. These seven secondary jewels represent the material inheritance or attributes of the chakravartin.
A third group of seven auspicious royal jewels also occur as insignia or emblems of the chakravartin's possessions. These comprise the rhinoceros horn, the square earrings of the minister, a branch of precious coral, the round earrings of the queen, the insignia of the general, a pair of elephants tusks, and a triple-eyed gem enclosed in a trefoil gold mount. These seven symbols represent the precious horse, minister, wheel, queen, general, elephant, and jewel respectively. As a single composite group these seven insignia are very commonly placed as offerings before deities, usually appearing amongst piles or lines of coloured, oval-shaped jewels.
The investiture of the chakravartin as ruler was ceremoniously conferred by anointing him with water drawn from the four directional oceans or lakes surrounding his realm. Similarly tantric initiation into a mandala requires the disciple to be sprinkled with water from five vases placed at the mandala's centre and four cardinal directions. The mandala palace itself is modelled on the divine four gated palace of the chakravartin. The Dravidian temples of southem India, the Mesopotamian ziggurat, the Chinese impe- rial palace of the forbidden city, and the royal Persian palace. all comprise architectural ideals comparable to the divine abode of the chakravartin or universal monarch.
Alexander the Great, whose thirteen-year conquest extended his empire westward from Greece and Egypt to the Indus river, may have been seen as a secular chakravartin. Yet his untimely death from fever in 323 BC, at the age of thirty-three, put an end to his potential divinity. The Indian Buddhist emperor Ashoka, who ruled over two thirds of India between 273 and 232 BC, was a far more worthy can- didate. A bloodthirsty military campaign sickened the victorious Ashoka, Renouncing violence he adopted Buddhism, and from his capital city of Pataliputra (near modern day Patna in Bihar state) he sent out Buddhist monks to proclaim the dharma in all directions. Historically, after Shakyamuni himself, the emperor Ashoka was the most important figure in the propagation of Buddhism. Around the beginning of the second century AD, Kanishka, the emperor of the Kushana dynasty, advanced Ashoka's example. From his capital city of Purushupura (now Peshawar), Kanishka introduced Buddhism into Afghanistan and the Swat,
Gandhara, and Kashmir areas of northwest India (now Pakistan). From Gandhara some of the earliest Buddha images evolved, interestingly sculpted in the Greek style by the descendants of Alexander the Great, producing the classic Buddha image.
The chakravartin is, first and foremost, a righteous universal monarch who rules purely through compassion and wisdom. The divine human form realises its perfection in the nondual identification of the chakravartin and bodhisattva ideals.
Just as the sambhogakaya forms of bodhisattvas and goddesses are endowed with the thirty-two major and eighty minor marks of a divine being or chakravartin, so are they likewise attired in the silk robes and ornamental gold jewellery of the ancient Indian kings, princes or princesses. Bodhisattvas are the 'spiritual sons' or princes of the Five Buddhas, they are crowned by them, and as symbols of their investiture bear the image or syllable of their parent Buddha on the crown of their heads. Their golden thrones are modelled on the square-based pedestal thrones of ancient Indian kings, and frequently placed before their thrones are the seven insignia of the chakravartin. Bodhisattvas and goddesses are apparelled in the thirteen sambhogakaya ornaments of a chakravartin, five of which are fashioned of coloured silk, and eight of which are wrought of precious stones and metals. The five silk attires consist of a white upper bodice with gold-embroidered patterns made from Benares silk or muslin (kashikamsuka); a rainbow' or multicoloured skirt or dhoti (panchalika); a yellow silk scarf worn as a sash over one shoulder; a variegated ribbon binding the crown or tiara; and a long blue scarf draped over the shoulders.
The eight precious jewellery ornaments consist of a five jewelled tiara made of natural and divine jewels; golden earrings; a short necklace around the neck; a medium necklace reaching to the level of the heart; a long necklace reaching below the navel; bracelets and armlets; anklets; and a jewelled belt with little silver bells. On peaceful bodhisattvas and goddesses these eight jewelled ornaments are usually condensed into a group of six, representing the six perfections or paramitas of patience (earrings), generosity (necklaces), discipline (bracelets, armlets, and anklets), effort (belt), meditation (jewelled tiara), and wisdom (a divine or flaming jewel above the hair-knots). Semi-wrathful male deities wear the equivalent earrings, necklaces, bracelets, armlets, and anklets, and belt, as bone ornaments, with a bone wheel at the crown of the head symbolising medita- tion, and cemetery ash applied to the forehead symbolising wisdom. Semi-wrathful female goddesses wear only the five bone ornaments; they are not adorned with cemetery ash as their form itself symbolises the perfection of wisdom.
The attributes of the chakravartin are very ancient symbols, dating back to before the time of Shakyamuni, more than two and a half thousand years ago. Other auspicious groups, such as the eight auspicious symbols and the eight symbols of good fortune, originated at a similar point in time. Their meaning and relevance have inevitably become diluted over the course of more than twenty-five centuries; the concept of monarchy itself has virtually collapsed over the last few decades. Yet the transposition of these symbols has remained intact, even though their original utilitarian purposes may now seem extremely redundant.
When Buddhism entered Tibet from India its entire symbolic content entered simultaneously. The depiction of Indian Buddhist deities dressed in the flimsy silks of Indian royalty was a foreign import into Tibet. The same is true of its vast array of jewelled ornaments, offerings, symbols, and motifs. They became indigenous by the philosophical values placed upon them as 'pure symbols', self-existent in their own right as visual encapsulations of the Buddhist teachings. Some fashions change, other traditions endure; hopefully the Buddhas will never be depicted in denim and trainers. The wheel moves on, yet it is always circular and cannot exist without its hub, spokes, and rim.

Since you’ve finalised the Auspicious Eight then is it possible that you could tell me the animals’ connections to the Bagua please?
It's working off Bagua's themes, but not directly tied to it. I am working off of it as the themes in Bagua are actually things people in general do desire, want, or hope for in life (to have money, find love, have a good reputation/fame, have that dream job, ect.).
And I thought I already established the ties? I guess not so I'll make it clear here.
Tumblr media
Bear works off foundation, family, ancestry, and continuation. It's about connecting to your roots, finding strength in the live you have lived and the people you have met, learning who is behind you and who supports, and finding future with it.
Fish is tied to prosperity, wealth, abundance, generosity, and gratitude. It's core existence is mostly about providing financial help and establish stability, though it has helped crops flourish and grow, adding to the abundance of those in need.
Rooster is tied to fame, recognition, reputation, honesty, and trustworthiness. Rooster assists those who seek glory and/or leadership, guiding the way to shine and stand out.
Crane is tied to love, union, and partnership. It often deals with romantic love, and it the matchmaker and wingman (pun intended) of the Miraculous. It cannot genuinely make people fall in love, but it can establish a connection, allowing a relationship to flourish and grow. While romantic love is the core focus, this Miraculous can extend to other forms of love, and assist in strengthening bonds between others.
Spider ties with creativity, imagination, fantasy, inspiration, and innovation (which Bagua actually ties this spot to creativity, children, joy, and the future; but I'll just work off creativity here). Spider seeks to help those expand their ideas, to look upon the world with new perspective, and to find unique solutions to problems. To embrace creativity and imagination.
Horse ties to travel, interconnections, and benevolence. For those who feel trapped and stifled, this Miraculous comes with promise of freedom and mobility. This Miraculous also comes to those who are lonely, and helps ignite sparks of friendship and warmth.
Deer ties to purpose, ambition, and truth. Deer aims to help those achieve their goals and desires, but also show the truth of who they are, as living out your purpose goes hand in hand with who you are.
And lastly, Mantis is tied to self-cultivation, wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual growth. At the core, this Miraculous comes in to help people grow, to grow in their knowledge, their wisdom, and in their spirit. Technically, of the Auspicious, this is the hardest one to wield, as growth and wisdom isn't gained from having everything handed to you, but from living and learning.

Today, Bulgarians celebrate Tryphon Zarezan in the old style - the holiday of winegrowers and wine, also known as Zarezanovden, Tryphon Chipia and Tryphon Zarezoi.
The day of the holy martyr Tryphon from ancient times is associated with the first pruning of the vineyards.
President Rumen Radev will be a guest of the Plovdiv village of Ustina on the holiday of vine growers and winemakers. He will take part in the traditional procession to the vineyards of the village and will participate in the ritual of consecration and pruning of the vines.
Rumen Radev will also award the winners of the "best homemade wine" contest.
February 14, also known as Valentine's Day, is celebrated all over the world today. The holiday is named after a martyr saint revered in the Catholic Church. Born not far from Rome, in the 2nd century BC. Since the 18th century, the tradition of sending sweets and cards decorated with flowers, ribbons and signs of love began.
Romantic tradition connects lovers with February 14. The celebration of Valentine's Day is also accepted in Bulgaria. According to what is referred to as a Catholic tradition, St. Valentine is the patron saint of the day, but since several centuries this day has been celebrated by people from all over the world with different religions and cultures.
Valentine's Day is widely celebrated in Western Europe, and the tradition of writing "Valentines", giving flowers and candy and singing serenades is firmly established in the minds of most people in this part of the world. This holiday is said to be auspicious for makers of cards, sweets and all kinds of heart-shaped gifts.
According to the tradition of the English court at the beginning of the 17th century, on Valentine's Day young men and women exchanged rings and candies. Any woman can go and ask the man she likes to be her husband. The important thing is that a man has no right to refuse a lady. But if his heart is already taken, he should give her a silk dress.
In Japan and Korea, the holiday dates back to 1930. In Japan, only men receive gifts on Valentine's Day. The holiday for women comes a month later, on March 14, and the day is called "White Day". Contrary to Japan, in Korea there is a tradition of "Black Day" where all single men get together and get drunk.
In passionate France, Valentine's Day means exchanging jewelry and other romantic gifts, and in Denmark, men give gifts of dried white flowers. On this day in England, girls gather before sunrise and look out the window. The first person they see becomes their husband. In Derbyshire, girls go round the church 12 times at midnight and repeat a magic spell. According to legend, after the ritual they meet true love.
In Jamaica, mass nude weddings are held on this day, and the beaches are visited by numerous newlyweds who have decided to plunge into eternal love. In Brazil, Valentine's Day is celebrated on June 12. On this day, Brazilian women perform magical rituals to attract bachelors. In Israel, the Day of Love is celebrated at the end of summer. The girl can only offer her hand to the boy of her choice.
The Germans associate love with madness and consider Saint Valentine the patron saint of the insane. On this day, psychiatric clinics are decorated with garlands and flowers. Poles believe in the miraculous power of love and therefore consider it their duty to go to church and pray for family happiness.
Valentine's Day is forbidden for Muslims in Saudi Arabia. People who touch the sin of this day are severely punished. It is strictly forbidden to sell red roses, plush toys and heart-shaped goodies in shops. The authorities believe that the "pernicious Western tradition" is confusing the minds of the young generation in Saudi Arabia, inciting them to sin.
In Bulgaria, the confluence of circumstances combines during the holiday Tryphon Zarezan, associated with wine, with Valentine's Day. The two occasions lead to a symbolic union on the Day of Wine and Love. Which are actually related both mythologically and traditionally.

Bhutan, often known as the "Land of the Thunder Dragon," is well known for its dedication to maintaining its distinct cultural legacy and customs. The Ura Yakchoe Festival, held yearly in the scenic Ura Valley, is one of the most engaging displays of Bhutanese culture.
A festival in the serene valleys of Bhutan that embodies the essence of the nation's rich cultural heritage.
The Ura Yakchoe Festival's History
Tumblr media
The Ura Yakchoe Festival has storied, mythical beginnings that stretch back millennia. Local legend holds that the celebration was started by the well-known Buddhist saint, Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche.
It is thought that in the area surrounding the Ura Valley, Guru Rinpoche hid holy artifacts, or terma, bestowing blessings upon the land and its people. The venerated statue of Guru Rinpoche, which is supposed to have appeared miraculously from a sacred wooden pillar, is the focal point of the celebration.
Ceremony & Customs
Tumblr media
The Ura Yakchoe Festival is a vibrant display of religious devotion, cultural rituals, and social peace. The festivities, which typically span several days, are filled with numerous rituals, dances, prayers, and customs.
The revelation of the sacred thongdrol, or gigantic thangka, featuring Guru Rinpoche, is the most revered tradition of the celebration. It is believed that those who watch the thongdrol being unveiled would get blessings and purification, making it a very auspicious event.
Local artists display their talents by creating elaborate woodcarvings, beautiful pottery, and colorful textiles with intricate designs woven throughout the many festivals in Bhutan.
CONCLUSION
Bhutan is struggling to adjust to modernity, which has raised the need for programs to preserve its traditional heritage. The Ura Yakchoe Festival exemplifies the resilience of Bhutanese culture by offering a glimpse into a world where modern living and ancient practices coexist.
It fosters a sense of cohesion and belonging among all generations and is a source of pride and identity for the people of Bhutan.

I am Safia, a remarkable individual known far and wide for my extraordinary stroke of luck, a gift that seems to grant me every desire while safeguarding me from harm. Born with an uncanny ability to defy the odds, my life is a series of serendipitous events and fortuitous encounters. Whether it's stumbling upon lost treasures hidden in the most unexpected places or finding myself miraculously unscathed in the face of danger, my luck knows no bounds.
My reputation precedes me, with countless stories and legends circulating about the extent of my good fortune. Some attribute it to celestial alignments, believing I was born under a particularly auspicious star that guides my path to success. Others whisper of divine intervention, suggesting that the favor of Fortuna, the goddess of luck, smiles upon me.
Throughout the years, there have been various explanations for my good luck by various writers and artists. In Barks' story "Luck of the North," I proclaim: "I was born under a lucky star, and everything I do will bring me good fortune […]." This I read from a horoscope book I own, which also has a map showing my lucky star conniving with the planet Neptunus.
Regardless of the explanations offered, one thing remains certain: my luck is the stuff of legend. It shapes my life in ways both whimsical and profound, turning even the most mundane moments into extraordinary adventures. To those who know me, I am more than just a person; I'm a living embodiment of fortune's favor, a beacon of hope and wonder in a world filled with uncertainty.
