I wanted to design the resistance for my au Love at Twilight so here they are! It was challenging to make characters 10 years after everything without changing their design too much 😅 idk it’s hard, I used the concept art for help.

There’s some Ashei concept art where she has full chest armor and I think it looks soooo cool. It also had some fur which also looked cool, so I like how she turned out! Shad didn’t change too much, just removed his silly socks and tennis shoes lol. Auru was difficult cuz he’s a much older man so he’s probably wearing more comfy clothes. There is concept art of a big baggy shirt so I tried to put that in this design. And I struggle with colors but I kinda like how he turned out! I already discussed Rusl’s changes, he just doesn’t have any ordon clothes. Link meanwhile doesn’t care and has his heroe’s outfit with his ordon clothes lol. He doesn’t care about his hair it’s just always doing it’s own thing. Sheik is just sheik from concept art with brown hair, Telma was hard but I added a circle apron and changed her colors. Idk how I feel about her design. I added some Gerudo influence tho cuz I like the idea of her being somewhat related to the Gerudo. And since I’m kinda wanting the resistance to be a group of outsiders it kinda fits. And then Renado, he’s a new addition to the team, and he gave me struggle but I like how he turned out. He looks fancy which fits the mayor vibe!

Anyways, young Auru meeting young Rusl. Rusl was 16 when they met and it was not good but Auru helped him out.

So I was working on a fanfiction of mine and got to thinking about these characters...and of course thought ‘What class would they be/would they play in DnD?’ Cause that’s my mind. 

So here is my attempt at that. If you want to include your own thoughts, so right ahead.

First up:

Telma.

I think that Bard fits her best. She runs a tavern so she could have all the entertainment skills, plus could easily use her persuasion/charisma on the guards to make them look the other way regarding the Resistance’s activities.

Then we have Auru.

Artificer. The cannon that he uses when helping storm the castle puts him in this class easily. He also has experience with Fyer and his giant cannon.

Auru tinkers around with engineering and no one can tell me otherwise. Look at those gloves and tell me he doesn’t use them while trying to invent any kind of new weapon.

Ashei.

I think Ashei would actually be a multi-class. She has about equal levels in both Ranger and Fighter. She was raised by her knight father, but grew up learning to survive in Snowpeak. You’d basically be a self-taught Ranger with those skills.

Rusl.

Druid, all the way. Sure, he doesn’t wild shape (Link’s got that covered though), but his connection with the forest and animals definitely makes him a druid. The only issue with this is that he does use metal, but to be fair, the first sword he gives Link is made out of wood so...

Finally, Shad.

Definitely a wizard. His scholarly lifestyle makes that very clear. He doesn’t fight, but he is the only member of the Resistance that even attempts to do anything with magic, such as the words he used on each of the statues trying to make any kind of reaction.

Auru Memory Story “A Gift For An Inescapable Companion” Part 3

Alto: There’s all kinds of shops around here so I think you’ll be able to find something good…

Auru: Let's hope so…

Alto: Even if we’ve narrowed it down to something practical, that still leaves a lot of options. We should look for something he’d actually use everyday…

Auru: …So something like a daily necessity?

Things like handkerchiefs, towels and cutlery…?

Alto: Yes, exactly. That being said, those don’t seem like the right kind of thing to give to Silve.

If there is something Silve is going to get a lot of use out of, it’d have to be something to help with his street performances…

Auru: …Shoes.

Alto: Huh?

Auru: I think shoes would be a good idea.

When you mentioned something that Silve would get a lot of use out of, it made me think of shoes.

That guy…he’s always coming home with busted sandals.

Alto: What do you mean…?

Auru: Well, Silve is always running around right?

He’s constantly sprinting all over the place and using his expansion to leap and jump…

His sandals can’t handle all of that force so they end up breaking in no time.

Sometimes he even comes home barefoot.

Alto: Barefoot…!?

That’s…even if he is an android, it’s still a little worrying.

He could injure his feet…

Auru: Right? Silve just laughs it off and says it’s fine…

That’s why I’m wondering whether I should get him some sturdy shoes that aren't sandals…

That’s…basically the idea I had…

Alto: I think it’s a wonderful idea!

(His sandals easily break, huh…? That’s something you wouldn’t notice without always watching from nearby.)

(Since Auru keeps a close eye on Silve, he catches on to these sorts of things.)

Alright then, shall we head to a shoe store to pick some out?

Auru: Yeah…

Alto: …I’m glad we could find some shoes that would suit Silve.

Auru: Me too. Your assistance seriously helped a lot.

Alto: No, no, it was you who came up with the idea in the first place.

But…I’m glad if I was able to help you at all.

Auru: No, seriously…thank you.

By the way…if you’re not too busy…

We’re having a party to celebrate our manufacturing day...Lana and Zin are really excited for it.

If it’s not any trouble, do you think you could come too…?

Alto: A party?

Auru: Ah, sorry…I’m not pressuring you to come celebrate or anything…

Alto: Ahaha, I know.

Of course I’ll come. I want to celebrate you and Silve with everyone, after all.

Auru: …Really?

Alto: I’ll be sure to bring along a present for you too so look forward to it.

Auru: …You don’t have to do that.

But…I’ll be looking forward to it.
