I've been working on a godot plugin for controlling how pixel art behaves with lighting, and I'm almost done with a really basic version! (more info under the cut)

this plugin is based on some techniques I have been developing over the years, featured most prominently in silt spawn.

it's a huge step forward though, since it requires no setup whatsoever, and it works with any normal light sources in the engine. the way it works is by generating an encoded sprite and a bespoke shader that can really quickly pick the exact color to show for each pixel based on how well-lit it is. as this gif shows, the plugin works with existing light sources and sprites, so you can really use these pixel-picky sprites as much or as little as you need!

now that the main feature is done, all I need to do is finish the UI in the editor, and then I'll feel comfortable releasing a bare-bones version of this plugin. I'm really proud of how it's coming along, and this quick little gif is just the beginning! :D

I wanted to incorporate some of Gale's original design and lores. So, I added some infection to his skin and bandages. I wanted to show the netherese orb visibly rotting him from the inside.

YIPPIE!! Here's the drawings I've done for May's magma session!! It was a ton of fun and had a blast learning on how to make poses more dynamic and fun!! <3

Magma Action Class & May Doodle session results!!

This is HUGE!! We drew over 90 ACTION POSES over the weekend in total, excluding my notes and references I drew for and during the session!! Can't believe our first lesson ever went so well, the results are top notch!! I had a fantastic time sharing my thoughts on poses and was able to assist with them!! It was awesome to see both my Twitter and Tumbrl followers gather for this event, got to meet many new people!

Leo Moons would be good to play in any emotional - drama show tbh, they have that dramatic energy we all need, plus they also like to make dramatic stories

Pluto or Lilith in the 5th house (Mars too) can show bad experiences in childhood, bullying, agression, fights/arguments, is a placement that has a lot of power and also a lot of damage

Aquarius Uranus generstion can be more on the humanitarian side of the society while Pisces Uranus on the emotional state of the society

Scorpio Saturn is indeed a heavy place for Saturn just like the 8th house because it indicates lots of challenges and rebirths in the natives life. Also points out that the native evolves overtime ending in their best version of themselves

Reminder for Moon - Venus aspects to not fall for every nice person they see because not all people have good intentions

If you have Lilith in Gemini or 3rd house you can often experience ppl talking about you,in good or bad ways but it will still happen. We cannot shut the world's mouth

Sagittarius Mars cannot stay in one place. They need either to move or travel because otherwise their inner core feels overwhelmed (also Mars in the 9th house or at 9° 21° too)

Something funny about Libra or Capricorn Mercuries is that they will always bring some logical subject even in the most weirdest conversations and expecting you to know about it
