fairytale: are you a cat or dog person?

Dog person! I’ve always wanted a little border collie…one that’s just big enough to hold comfortably in your arms, with black and white spots and big floppy ears! I suppose I don’t mind cats, but I definitely prefer dogs. They’re just so snuggly and sweet and adorable!

glitter: favorite fictional character?

Oh, that’s a hard one…I love all kinds of fairytales, and I don’t know if I could pick a favorite story, let alone a favorite character! One of my favorites is Rapunzel…but I don’t like the original ending. My favorite part is when she gets to leave the tower with her prince! I just wish they got to have their happy ending…

I look up slowly, tears making my eyes glossy. So many emotions run circles in my head, but seeing you here beside me - a Kleenex in your outstretched hand - makes a feeling of calm descend over me…maybe things are okay. I take the Kleenex from you tentatively and pat under my eyes. The kindness in your eyes makes me smile slightly, until I realize there are butterflies in my stomach and pink in my cheeks. Shame overtakes me and I get up suddenly, stepping away from you.
