Chad Charming Headcanons revised;

Chad's full birth name that is on his birth certificate is 'Chadwick Robert Charming'.

Chad's birthday is July 4th.

He's 8 years older than his little sister, Chloe.

His mom's actual name is Ella but most people know her as Cinderella and his dad's name is Kit.

His Paternal grandparents' names are Robert and Cordelia and his Maternal grandparents' names are Marcus and Camilla.

He was adopted by his parents when he was little.

His grandfather gifted him a small crown when he was first brought home and Chad really looked up to him growing up.

He has naturally curly hair and uses hair gel, hair spray, and a hair straightener because he’s really insecure about his looks.

This is because he doesn’t look like his parents at all.

He use to be a really sweet kid but due to a few losses in the family, his sister’s poor health, his friends and him drifting apart, and a lack of attention for his parents (atop of school faculty letting him get away with nearly everything because they felt bad for him) he started to become the boy we saw on screen.

After his grandfather died, Chad started to resent his younger sister but hide it. He still loves her but finds it hard to be around her due to the difference in the amount of love and attention their parents give her and him.

Chad also really resents his friends (Jane, Ben, Doug, Lonnie, and Audrey)— minus Audrey— for how they all seemed to forget about him in middle school.

This is what causes him to act out against everyone– he’s desperate for attention. Good or bad.

He started to steal, lie, cheat, swear, and more. He got into more fights and started coming home less and less— spending more time at Fg's house and the baker's than his own.

He would also spend time with his aunt Snow White and uncle Florian and his friends' families to avoid going home.

He stopped doing this when they started commenting on it because he felt unwelcomed and didn’t want to cause trouble for his parents, who were doing the best they could given the situation they were in.

Said situation being his sister’s poor health, his many learning disabilities, his poor social skills, the many deaths in their family/inner circle, the responsibility of running a kingdom, and the responsibility of trying to get The Tremaine Family and Kit’s twin brother, James, off the isle. 

When he started to go Auardon Prep, Chad started staying there instead of over at his aunt and uncles’ (The Baker, Snow, Florian, and and FG) places because he didn’t want to be a burden on them and didn’t want to go home only to be mostly forgotten.

He met Doug through Jane because Doug is her cousin.

He also met Lonnie through Jane.

Ben and Audrey, on the other hand, he had known since they were babies.

Chad is not neurotypical.

He's younger than Ben and Lonnie but older than Audrey, Doug, and Jane. Though not by much.

Chad used to be the protector (Jay) of the ak group alongside Lonnie.

He's allergic to honey and feathers.

He used to go to the beach, the circus,  amusement parks, and playgrounds with his grandpa and Chloe.

He used to enjoy bird watching with them too.

He still tries to get feathers on his clothes even though it causes him to break out horribly. Evie was informed of this by Doug, which is one of the reasons why she refused to make him a feathery cape.

He stopped trying to eat honey after he turned 12.

He cried a lot as a child. Alot.

He was a very needy child for obvious reasons.

Chad’s parents spoil him to make up for the lack of attention they are able to give him, which he just sees as them trying to pay to get rid of him.

Chad helped his frantic parents look for Chloe after she ran off after the Maleficent incident in d1 Chad stopped letting his sister play with his friends and pets after he realized just how much more attention than him she got.

Chad is a slow learner.

Chad is claustrophobic, scared of Lady Tremaine, and terrified of losing his friends/ending up alone.

He and Chloe used to ride their bikes around the castle halls a lot. Mainly with Jane.

He tried to help Jane learn how to fly when she was younger before she started hiding her wings.

Council meetings bore the hell out of him.

Chad has a horse, 3 mice, a dog, and a cat— all descended from his parents' pets— and never lets anyone touch them in fear they'll hurt them or take them away.

He also secretly fears that his pets will leave him like previous friends of his once they find someone better.

He is only creeped out by mice that aren’t his because he’s afraid they’ll tattle on him to his mom.

He can be a bit obsessive and lazy sometimes.

Chad has trouble picking up on social cues.

Chad's pet mice are named 'Dagger, Starlight, and Cobalt'.

His cat is named 'Diamond'.

His dog is named 'swiggles'

And His horse is named 'colonel' .

His hobbies include but are not limited to: Fencing, sword-fighting, modeling, playing dress up, playing sports of any kind, playing games, singing, dancing, stargazing, playing video games, playing with animals, collecting action figures, watching cartoons, reading comics, fighting, exploring, swimming, and horseback riding.

He talks to his pets even though he doesn't always understand what they are saying.

He's really jealous of the vks because they get away with a lot of stuff that Coach Jenkins would never let him get away with, they get a lot of attention from people, and they always seem so confident.

He has had the hugest crush on Audrey since he was little but it was always one sided.

It crushed him when he realized that Audrey and him were only together so they could make Ben jealous. He became extremely jealous of Ben when he realized it and started acting like he didn't care about him.

He hates what he's become and wants to change but isn't sure if he can anymore. Or if it will be worth it, anymore.

He flinches away from Audrey for months after d3. He still does sometimes.

He wants to be a professional model or  Trophy Husband or varsity tourney player/swords and shield player. Mainly because he doesn't think he's smart enough to do anything else.

He still has his old baby blanket and his stuffed horse—which he hides away underneath his bed.

His favorite food is toast, pudding, and prunes. He also enjoys pizza.

His favorite drink is hot chocolate with cinnamon.

He was afraid of the dark until he was 7.

He wet the bed until he was 8.

His favorite colors are blue, yellow, white, and gold.

Chad loves going to the gym and he loves mirrors.

He freaks out whenever he gets messy as he gets older because he wants people to care about him.

His favorite song is 'Jock Star' by Hercules' muscles.

He can't stand the song 'He's a guy' by The Underworldians. It reminds him too much of himself.

He can't look at himself in the mirror sometimes without wanting to scream.

Sometimes, when he's alone, he screams to let all the anger and hate and pain out.

He joined forces with Audrey in descendants 3 for three reasons; she was the only one who really talked to him anymore, he was in love with her, and so everyone at the party could get away and warn everyone.

He can tell when something is wrong with his friends, thank you very much. And just like when Ben was spelled, there was something wrong with Audrey.

No one listened to him either times.

You can guess how annoyed he was by that.

He was missing for days after d3. Too freaked out and out of it to find his way home.

His uncle, The Baker, was the one who found him.

He was out of it for a few days after that too. When he came out of it, he met his Aunt Anastasia and four cousins (from her) for the first time. He didn't have much to say but she understood.

Chad loves his pets and friends more than anything. Even if it doesn't always seem that way.

One day, when he was little, his horse got loose and was missing for days.

He didn't stop crying until it was found. Yes, he got sick several times.

Fg decided to make sure that something like this would never happen again by... blessing Chad so that his pets would always be able to find him and get to him, no matter where he was.

Chad promised to never tell anyone and it's one of the few promises he's been able to keep over the years.

He named his stuffed horse 'Governor' and his stuffed bird 'Consort'.

He also had/has a doll that kinda looks like him that he named 'Little Chad'.

He had two imaginary friends that he called his other mother and his other father. He let go of them when he was 10.

His favorite social media is InstaRoyal.

His favorite treat that his uncle—the baker—makes him alot is Banana bread.

He develops a crush on Gil not long after d3.

He starts going to therapy after d3 and takes a break from his old friends—yes even Audrey—so he could work on himself.

He gets along surprisingly well with a lot of his step cousins. Anthony especially.

What consequences do you think Shan Shiro would face in Auardon? How would Fg and the other teachers find out what he did? How would they treat Dizzy and Anthony afterwards?

Well, the teachers (Incidentally, why are only the teachers in charge of the Isle kids? These kids should be placed with, like, foster families and get legal guardians and everything! They need to live somewhere in the summer, at least. And you can't have the administration of a school fully responsible for a bunch of traumatized teenagers. Aren't there protocols about this? But anyway-) figured things out after Anthony runs into Shiro in the hallway and tried to throttle him (good thing Auradon Prep already confiscated all weapons) because, as he told the detention teacher, "He murdered my family."

After that, they all start treating Anthony and Dizzy with pity. Being extra nice to them, not giving them any consequences if they don't do their homework, pretty much letting them do whatever they want. Which they don't like. They just want to be treated normally. Which...isn't really possible. But as normally as possible, then.

As for Shiro, he would get sent to some kind of juvenile detention. Or whatever kind of jail they have for minors. I don't know how this works. Assuming Auradon even has that as opposed to just sending all criminals to the Isle. Also probably he would receive some kind of counseling and/or therapy to help him deal with his impulsivity and pyromania that led him to set the fire in the first place (although he hasn't so much as gone near a match since) as well as, you know, the enormous guilt he feels.

Minnie tapped her fingers against the desk as she tried to avoid her mother’s gaze. Arranged Marriages were common practice in Auardon. They used to be common years ago but now, after so many happy ever afters, they were quickly forgotten about. Well, almost. Minnie knew that her mother, Elena, always wanted an alliance with Queen Ariel and King Eric. After all, their small kingdom of Avalor was completely surrounded by water and the closest port was their kingdom. To have Minnie marry their eldest son, who was destined to take over Atlantica once King Triton passed on, would mean a giant alliance. Minnie was alright with it. She had never had a boyfriend before and it wasn’t like she had been very close with any of the princes at Auradon Prep. She was even fine with Melody being her sister in law.

What she wasn’t sure about? Christian. That was all she really knew about her future husband. His name and the rumors that circled around. He returned from the sea and couldn’t seem to respect the royals around him. She was pretty sure that was a reason why Ariel and Eric weren’t against the marriage as well. Minnie was polite, soft spoken, charming, while also not letting anyone push her around. A good influence for someone who would become king one day.

So she waited, continuously watching the door as, she knew her mother would arrive soon with the guests.

Between the Isle and Auardon

Basic’s about this verse (future updates in a verses page soon) 

Emma and Killian had two children Harriet and Harry together before the villains and their children were banished to the Isle

Henry is the product of a previous relationship Emma had before Killian

With the separation, Killian believed it was best for Henry that Emma stayed in Auradon while he lived on the Isle and the Jolly Roger with the two kids

Emma would sneak to the Jolly Roger to see Killian it was then she fell pregnant with CJ and stayed for the duration of her pregnancy before returning home, Snow and Charming hiding her disappearance for their daughter’s happiness 

Emma years later returns to the Isle to live with Killian and the kids when Henry is old enough to look after himself 

With more Isle kids going to Auradon it’s a chance for Emma to show her children the real magic of Auradon and the good it holds, but also allow them to play rough and mess about 

Emma has light magic, blessed by the fairies however it has a dark streak thanks to her love for Killian and her children 

In this verse sometimes it will mention Killian; other time’s if you are a descendants rper and don’t have a verse like this, Emma is simply a child of Snow and Prince Charming and graduated from Auradon Prep, struggling with controlling and focusing her magic

That time EVERYONE wanted to kill Diego;

A loud crash rang through the air as drywall and bricks flew everywhere, and tires could be heard screeching almost as loudly as the students of Auardon Prep. A car had crashed through the wall of the student lounge, which sent the students scattering and (thankfully), no one got hurt. Not a student could be seen in the area and other than the terrified screaming of fleeing students, the school was eerily silent. That is, until the doors to the car where thrown open.

"Oh shit, oh fucking shit!" 19 year old, Diego Ethan de Vil yelped, jumping out of the car-- hands gripping at his hair as he surveyed the damage. He didn't really care about the car-- it belonged to his demented, abusive aunt after all-- but the school? He knew that the damage done to the school wasn't something he could just cover up like he did back on the isle when he broke or crashed into something. And he also knew that he couldn't pin it on someone else because of the amount of people who had just witnessed the incident. Because of the amount of people who saw--

"Uh, Diego?" A tiny voice piped up from the driver's seat, sounding scared and hesitant. The teen in question swallowed heavily and -- despite his own fear-- replied, albeit warily with "Yeah Hadie?" His knees were buckling, his heart was pounding out of his chest, and his palms were all sweaty, and he could clearly see his whole life flashing before his eyes. Needless to say, he was disappointed to find that he had spent most of his life doing chores and getting his ass kicked. He didn't even look at Hadie; he was too tired to do so -- until the boy spoke up once more with "I'm sorry".

Diego looked over at him, feeling what little anger he had drain away at the gulity look on Hadie's face. "It's fine, kid. I didn't think I'd ever live past 20 anyway. Just make sure to put Carnations on my casket after I get murdered by your father for this--"

Click. Click. Clack. Thump. Thump. Thump. Tap.

Diego winced as he heard the pitter-patter of footsteps--multiple of them-- heading towards them from all directions before the doors were thrown open by several different people. Hadie ran and hide behind him, burying his face in his side as he heard Mal, FG, Coach Jenkins, Carlos, Ben, Harriet, and several other friends, teachers, and family members yell out "DIEGO!" The boy in question just stared at them blankly, trying to ignore the loudness of his beating heart. He just tilted his head and smirked weakly at them, making direct eye contact with Carlos "Well, well, well.. if it isn't the consequences of my own actions..." Not a soul laughed at his joke. Not even Hadie, who was still using him as a human shield between him and his sister. Well, that just went to show just how fucked he was. Diego was really starting to wonder why he had thought letting an 8 year old child drive a car was even a good idea in the first place.

Ginny Gothel Headcanons revised;

Trigger warning for child abuse and near death experiences.

Her full name is Ginerva Flower Gothel in honor of the flower her lost because of Rapunzel's birth. She hates it with a passion.

It's also kind of ironic considering the fact that she's allergic to most types of flowers.

Ginny is tall and slim with frizzy black hair and grayish-blue eyes.

She is a couple months older than Harriet.

She also DOES NOT get along with her mother like AT ALL.

No, seriously, they are constantly fighting and the fights get violent 70% of the time.

Ginny has two younger brothers named Mason and Glenn . They're twins. As well as an older sister named Cassandra (from Tangled the series), who she loves dearly despite the fact they drive her mad half the time.

She also gets along well with her sister's two friends, Hugo and Varian. And the Stabbington twins surprisingly.

She cannot say the same about Cassandra's ex, Andrew. She does NOT like him at all.

Varian, Cassandra, Hugo, and the Stabbington brothers taught her everything she knew.

She and Cassandra are as close as siblings can be on the isle.

Despite giggling about Harriet's ugly dress, she does consider the pirate captain a friend . She's even apart of her crew.

She gets sea sick, which is funny considering she is almost always on the ship.

She is the chef mate of the Queen's Fury because she's one of the few people who know how to cook on the ship and the only one who is willing to do so because she thinks it's easy.

She is a member of Diego's band, unaware /maybe just not caring about Diego's role in the Antiheroes' club.

Ginny plays the tambourine as well as the harmonica and she also sings occasionally.

She's also friends with Anthony Tremaine, Big Murph, the Gaston twins, Lefou Deux, Claudine Frollo, Jade, Mad Maddy, Clay Clayton, Diego de Vil, Sammy Smee, Rick Ratcliffe, and just about every crewmate of hers.

She and Clay Clayton have a thing going on-- they're still not sure what to call it. They think it's dating but aren't quite sure.

Ginny's good at singing, sailing, sailing, apple bobbing, dagger tossing, dagger juggling, dart throwing, gymnastics/acrobatics, dancing, chemistry, sword-fighting, cooking, potions, and swimming (Harriet taught her how to) but she's terrible at cards and dancing.

Ginny also likes to read very few things. Usually Gothic tales and music sheets.

She loves toad shots and apples.

She has a seemingly unlimited amount of daggers that seem to come out of nowhere. No matter where she is, no matter who she's with, she always has a dagger. Even if you've already taken one from her.

Unlike her mother, she doesn't care about staying young and beautiful forever. She thinks it's dumb.

Ginny, like everyone, doesn't like being crossed and can hold a grudge for a very long time. A bad habit she is trying to break.

Maleficent isn't the only villian she has stolen from or who's house she has ransacked.

She has the following weapons-- a longsword with a red and black handle, and a golden dagger that also has a red and black handle.

She swears ALOT which annoys the hell out of her mother. Which is why she does it.

She doesn't respect alot of adults on the isle with very few exceptions.

Ginny often pushes /scares people away because she's scared of rejection, being replaced, failure, being abandoned, being locked away, and turning out like her mother (Despite her sister assuring her that she won't).

Ginny is a bit of a smart ass and mouths off to people alot. Even though she really shouldn't since she is almost as bad as Anthony and LeFou Deux are at fighting.

Her favorite color is Burgundy, black, and gold.

She was one of the 1st to ransack Maleficent's place after d1. She stole several of Maleficent's cloaks.

After the barrier is brought down, Ginny joins band and choir at Auardon prep and after ALOT of nagging from her sister, she apologizes to Mal.

Rapunzel and Flynn immediately reached out to Cassandra, Varian, Hugo and the Stabbington brothers along with Nuro and Yong when the barrier was brought done and were surprised to find that Gothel had more kids.

Mason and Glenn end up getting along splendidly with Nuro and Yong, and to Cassandra's dismay, Flynn and Lance.

Ginny begrudgingly gets along with them and their kids quite well after a couple of months.

They are also horrified to find out that Gothel use to lock Ginny and her brothers in the attic as a punishment, and make sure everyone knows that Gothel isn't allowed near them anymore.

She has suspicions on who her father could be but she doesn't have any solid proof (Captain Hook for one).

She actually goes to school alot more than the other kids do because It's one of the few things she enjoys.

The scaredest she has ever been is the day she found Clay almost dead after he was found face down in the pool at Mal's Hellraiser party.

She's also allergic to most flowers.

What do you think of goths and emo kids attending Auradon Prep and how they would be treated?

I love the idea of goth and emo kids attending Auardon Prep. Though unfortunately, not all of the students and teachers would be tolerant of them (we saw how they treated the vks and Jane for being different, after all). I think it would be like a regular highschool for the most part, with rumors and stuff. Some a-hole would probably making a rumor about them being villian wannabes but that would get shut down by Coach Jenkins (and maybe FG) pretty quickly because he doesn't play with that shit. Hope that helps!

Do you ever noticed how the Descendants fandom/fanfiction doesn't write much about the lesser known characters like Aziz, Jr etc. Only time you'd see them is when they were mentioned by other characters. Would it be nice if someone writes about these lesser known descendants kids so that people can adore them? What do you think?

Yeah. I notice it alot. And while I wish someone would write more about them, I can't say much/complain much about it seeing as I don't write about them nearly as much as I should.

Like don't get me wrong; I adore them and would love to know more about them. I do. But I, like many others, tend to focus on canon characters because they're easier to build. I also do that because I'm terrified of writing the character wrong/their culture wrong. Especially when it comes to their language and stuff, cause Google translate isn't always correct and because I don't speak the languages or know much about the cultures myself. I try of course, but the thought of messing up is crippling. Which is why I tend to stick to familiar things in my fanfiction and original works. And even then, I base them off of familiar characters and people I know-- which I teak because I can't say some of the things the people/ characters would say/do. Because I'm not good at pronouncing things and at knowing if they're appropriate or not to say. Or if they're made up. Ya know? I also like my characters or characters I bulid on to be complex and consistent and realistic, which can be hard. Especially on tumblr.

So maybe that's why people don't do so often?

Someone should definitely write more about them though, because that would be neat. And I would love to see other takes on the characters-- it would be unique and awesome.

Why Hannah doesn't get along with the core four (at first);

(This is why she has beef with Jay).

Mal is an obvious one but I'll make it clear. Hannah doesn't like her because of the isle stuff that she thinks was a bit more than necessary, among other reasons. But again, this is before they have more common ground after being sent to Auardon.

Evie is less obvious and less intense. Hannah and her don't get along because in my thing, Evie and Harry use to be friends before she was banished and after many years of Harry sneaking into the castle to help her things went south. Aka Harry got caught. And for three years, he never saw her again because she wouldn't let him. So you can imagine how mad Hannah was when she joined Mal. Also, Hannah gets really tired of her playing stupid when they both know she isn't. It has led to many arguments.

Hannah has no problem with Carlos even though he isn't perfect. He's never done anything to her or her friends and family directly. And she doesn't blame him for trying to protect himself by joining Mal, so it causes no problems between them.

Thought the vks deserved a chance in the school of secrets web series, where she can be seen arguing/debating with a girl about it. Which also shows that she can be sassy when she wants to be.

Gets tongue tied easily but eventually gets more confident thanks to the vkw influence.

After the vks showed up, she started to learn how to balance the rules with a dose of reality.

Really wishes someone would take her on a romantic date to the enchanted lake.

She wishes she was more artistic like Mal.

She has good hand writing.

She longs to be able to use her magic instead of just studying it, despite what her mom wants.

Things weren't easy for her growing up due to being Fg (the headmistress)'s daughter, because people always expected her to be good and avoided her at the same time.

She can be very insecure at time.

She once said "Magic is niether good nor evil-- it's all about who's using it."

Her mom taught her that love's a pretty big component in lifting enchantments.

Jane is too shy to ask a boy to dance.

She was shocked to find out Carlos was afraid of dogs but said it made sense after Ben reminded her who's kid he was.

She says 'Bibbidi-Bibbidi mom!' Whatever that means.

Her biggest wish was for people to accept her because she was never "the pretty girl" like Lonnie and Audrey (her words. Not mine. She was always adorable to me).

She has a necklace with her and Carlos's ship name on it (Janlos, I think).

Not use to having friends-- so much so that she thanked the others for being there for her.

She got grounded BIG TIME after Ben's coronation but everyone was pretty cool about it. Even though she was very embarrassed by her behavior.

Finds using magic exhilarating though learned it required alot of concentration after using it for the first time.

Thinks the vks are the best things to happen to Auardon Prep.

Had Mermaid Studies (I think that's the name for the class) with Lonnie and Audrey.

Audrey considered her a friend and felt very betrayed after she became friends with the vk.

Wanted to hang out with all the vks and main aks at the end of the d1 school year.

Might like Fairy Bubble Gum.

Would never turn mice into horses because she feels bad for them.

Likes black licorice over red.

Her biggest pet peeves are being ignored and bad hair days.

Was voted most likely to go on a first date.

Didn't invite Audrey to her birthday party in d1.

Summary; aka my version of the pocket watch movie. Where Chad disappears and a few years pass, leading into the events of the pocket watch.

Chloe knew that Chad wasn't perfect.

Even before he had disappeared, she had known he wasn't perfect.

Even though she was only 10 at the time, she had known.

He was rude, he didn't pick up on social cues, he wasn't the brightest. He wasn't very brave, made lots of bad decisions, and wasn't well liked. He was nowhere near perfect.

But she didn't care because he was her big brother and she loved him. Even if he didn't always seem to love her.

She loved him, because she knew him and remembered what he use to be like before he graduated middle school.

Before their grandpa died.

Even if the memories she had were only vague ones.

Their granddad took them to their circus, when Chad was 10 and she was 2.

Dumbo was there but she couldn't see him and started to fuss.

Chad, hair still fully curly, had simply smiled at her (instead of rolling his eyes in annoyance as he would grow to do) before lifting her up. Resting her on his shoulders so that she could see the elephants she loved so much.

He even shared his chocolate sprinkled popcorn with her even though their granddad told him not to.

It was her earliest memory and her favorite one.

"Chloe, Chloe" Chloe groaned, rolling over in her little toddler bed. Squinting into the dark. "Bubba?"

She was three and he was eleven.

Chad sat on the floor, criss cross applesauce style. Grinning at her, box in his lap. A messily made cupcake in hand wirh a lit candle.

"Happy birthday! I got ya something!" He whisper shouted, causing her to shot up in excitement. Eyes wide.

"Rweally?!"

He put a finger to his lips "shhh. You don't wanna wake mom and dad or they'll make you go back to bed."

It was still dark out.

Chloe just gave him a sheepish grin "sworry."

Chad snorted, holding the cupcake up to her. "Don't worry about it, birthday girl. Just blow out the candle and make a wish."

Chloe did, though she couldn't remember for the life of her what she had wished for. But she still remembered what he gifted her that day.

Because she never let go of the stuffed elephant that he gave her.

Chad tossed her into the air, repeatedly catching her.

Grinning at her as she giggled and squealed, no doubt in love with being able to see over the hedges. Which she usually couldn't do because she was so tiny.

"CHADWICK JAMESON CHARMING!" Someone from out of her sight yelled, causing Chad to pale.

He caught her one last time, nearly dropping her, and simply said "oh shit."

One night it was storming when she was about 5 and Chloe got scared because their parents weren't there.

So Chad bulit a blanket fort, hung up some fairy lights, and stuck her in it with all the stuffed animals and blankets he could get his hands on before going to raid the kitchen. Returning with two mugs of hot chocolate, the whole cookie jar, and a big storybook.

They spent the rest of the night curled up in the blanket fort, reading and eating and laughing until they both drifted off to sleep.

In Chad's last year of middle school, he started to change.

Blowing her off, no longer spending time with her, Getting dismissive of her love of fencing.

He straightened his hair and got snappy when she asked why.

Refused to let her play with his pets.

He stopped coming home to visit when he got into Auardon prep.

He was nice to her for the most part when they saw eachother but it wasn't the same as before and she never knew why.

It wasn't until he was gone that she realized their parents tended to spend all their time with her even when he was home.

Till she realized they usually just gave him things so he wouldn't bug them as much and so he'd stay out of trouble. Only really intervening when he started failing.

It took Chloe even longer to realize that she didn't even remember the last time Chad had invited someone other than Audrey over. It took her twice as long to realize that she was sick and that it had affected him more than he ever let on.

It took their parents months to realize that he was even gone.

And it took her asking them why Chad had stopped calling her for them to realize it.

It made her heartache and even the pet elephant her parents got her didn't relieve the ache.

Nor could the multitude of cousins they suddenly had.

After Chad disappeared, Chloe started to attend Auardon Prep and made a new friend who called herself 'Red'.

Chloe came to learn that it was because red was her favorite color.

She also came to realize that Red was the best friend she could ever have because she didn't brush off Chloe's desire to find Chad like everyone else did.

She even offered to help Chloe find him.

Chloe took her up on that offer and the duo searched and searched, even as the years dragged on.

8 years passed and the pair eventually got side tracked. Eventually dragging Danny Darling and Hadie of the Underworld into the mix when the royal baby went missing.

"I'm getting really tired of pretending I'm not evil" Hadie complained as they trekked through Wonderland. Swatting flies and branches out of his way.

"That's because you're not evil, you're just dramatic " Danny replied, rolling his eyes as he fidgeted with the vial of pixie dust he wore around his neck.

"I resent that remark! I am very evil! I have my own song and minions and everything!"

Chloe glanced back at the pair, shaking her head when she met Red's eye. Trying not to laugh.

Hadie was the farthest thing from evil they had ever seen. And they had met Gil.

"Sure you are man. Sure you are. And I'm Captain Hook's uncle" Danny snickered snarkily as usual.

Only to have the grin knocked right off his face as Hadie tackled him, causing Red to stumble into Chloe who tumbled down a small hill.

The other 3 following almost immediately, with all four of them a tangled mess of limbs as they landed at the bottom.

Causing the odd pocketwatch they had burrowed to crack right down the middle and start glowing along with the ground beneath them.

"Oh fuck--"

"This is all your fault!" Hadie said shoving Danny, who looked indignant as they walked through the past version of Wonderland they found themselves in.

"What? How is it MY fault?! You're the one who shoved me!"

"You provoked me! So it's your fault that the stupid watch broke, which makes it your fault if we can't get home and stop the baby from getting kidnapped.."

"Why you little--"

"WILL YOU TWO SHUT UP?" Red snapped, annoyed. "It's both your faults!"

That just started a three way argument that Chloe wanted no part in.

She picked up the pace, hopping the other three would notice and knock it off. They didn't.

She really needed a break from them. They had been arguing nonstop all week.

A normalish looking bar caught her eye and even though she techinqually wasn't old enough to drink, she really didn't care at the moment.

Chloe quickly ducked inside, an excuse on the tip of her tongue.

"I know I'm not old enough to be in here but I really need to get out of the rain--"

"Chloe?"

She faltered, eyes widening as they adjusted to the low lighting-- helping her get a good look at the bartender. Who looked almost exactly the same as he had the last time she saw him, only older...

"Chad?!"
