Trix Week | Day 3 - Backstory for the Trix

I'M FINALLY DONE WITH DAY 3 AAAAGGHHHGHGHG

so uh. Their backstories... kinda sad. In few words: their fanilies were killed by the same organization because they were descendants of the Ancestral Witches. The organization is called The Order of Goodness and Light, whose goal is literally destroy every reminder of the Ancestral Witches 🙄)...

the family of Tharma's descendants disappeared long time ago, but few still carried her blood here and there. All of them were hunt down and killed. Stormy's mom had to ran away from her home planet as far as she could get, but was found nd killed anyway. But nobody knew that she had a child that she left at some orphanage, that's how Stormy survived.

Liliss' blodline was also lost at some point, but not long ago one of her descendants found out about their roots and tried to build the family back. They knew the Order is looking for them, but they were good at hiding. Unfortunately, the Order found them too, adn instead of trying to attack the family poenly, they planted something you can call a time bomb - a curse that was slowly corrupting the magic of their Home, killing everyone who stayed there long enough.

Only Belladonna's descendants never lost their roots, always honored the rules she wrote for them many centuries ago. They were really strong, their Home was protected better then some royal palaces and each generation had at least 3-4 children. The Order was hunting and killing them for at least 400 years, but for each killed they were loosing few of their people, it was almost like a real war. But in the end they were able to kill (almost) all of the main family in one day, only two choldren survived, Isolde who was in Magix at that moment, and Icy, because her magic was underdeveloped at that moment and she wasn't found. Then to find and kill the rest was much easier for the Order.

The Order doesn't know about Stormy's connection to Tharma, but they know about Icy and Darcy, and watch every their step, but don't interfere, letting the Winx handle them and hoping that they'll die in one of their fights.

Managed to post it before the end of January!

Since I'm now more of a gamer myself, I decided to come up with AU Winx girls as gamers too, and why not make it a transformation? They had Dreamix and Tynix and what not, so high time they traveled to the world of games, amirite?

The descriptions are a mix of my personal head canons and my IG followers' suggestions.

silly headcanons about Winx characters’ home planets (part 1)

Linpheans rarely say, “I love you”. to them, it does not encapsulate the depth of their devotion properly.

instead, they use words that are much more… “poetic.”

for example, Bloom would casually thank Flora for helping her apply a salve to a burn of hers:

”thanks, Flo, love ya!”

and Flora would earnestly reply:

“My soul, I would part with my liver sooner than I would part with you.”

which… intense for us, Eartherns, but for Linpheans — love is not something to be treated casually.

among Linphean vernacular: “my soul”, referring to any one person you love; “my liver”, when referring to a friend you cannot live without; “my sun/moon/flower”; “my pillar”. also, when talking about a couple: “those, who were fated by the stars”.

(fun fact, all of these are real terms of endearment I took from my language <3)

she is very openly affectionate with her girls, but it takes her a bit of time to start acting similarly with the boys.

Helia and Timmy are decently well-travelled/well-learnt, so they know of this Linphean custom and are not surprised. Nabu absolutely returns the same energy to her.

Brandon just kinda takes it at face value (“you are my lifetime, friend” “👍”).

but Sky and Riven are absolutely bamboozled by how sweet Flora is, and try to awkwardly reciprocate.

like, Flora patches Riven up after a battle, and pats him on a back with:

“let the rivers of our lives cross together into an ocean forevermore, my golden friend.”

and Riven looks more scared than he ever was fighting goddamn Valtor, and whispers:

“you smell very nice?..”

Riven is obviously uncomfortable being as vulnerable and affectionate as she, so he resorts to using sweet nicknames (a-la “dove”, “love”, “sunshine”) and giving Flora compliments.

Sky is also unused to this level of affection, so whenever he is forced deal with it — he just malfunctions. literally dissociates. cannot reply for a solid twenty minutes.

He does think it’s very sweet though, so he starts taking care of Flora like a little sister. making sure she always has a little snack on a mission, giving her his jacket when it’s cold out, importing rare flowers for her, etc.

after a couple of years together, the winx and the specialists adopt this way of expressing endearment into their vernacular, and confuse the shit out of everybody else.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i spent almost a whole month drawing this. i'm never doing anything like this ever again. This is the biggest comic ever i did in (almost) full skill

THIE IRONY OF THIS is that Icy thinking one thing, but the opposite happens.

basically this is a short summary of an AU that would've been an over 200 pages comic otherwise

funny enough that right after i finished this, my headcanons for Stormy changed few times anw she wouldn't react like this with my new headcanons but oh well. This is just imagination tho.
