Attila, getting a call: Oh, it's the Punk Frogs!
Michelangelo: Did they get the stuff we need?
Attila: Yeah, Rasputin got the clown costume, Genghis got the power drill, and Napoleon got the 12 gallons of blood.
Raphael: Wow! Where did Napoleon find 12 gallons of fake blood?
Attila: …You wanted FAKE blood?
Michelangelo: …
Raphael: …
Attila: I'll go call the Punk Frogs…

Disney+ Series ‘The Mandalorian,’ ‘WandaVision’ and ‘Loki’ Coming to Blu-ray and 4K UHD Later This Year
The formerly streaming-only titles are now physical
Some of your favorite Disney+ streaming series from Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios are getting the physical media treatment later this year with new Blu-ray and 4K UHD releases of the first two seasons of Lucasfilm’s live-action “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian” as well as Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” and the first season of “Loki.”
“Loki” will be available on Sept. 26, “WandaVision” will be available on Nov. 28, and the first two seasons of “The Mandalorian” will be available on Dec. 12. The titles will be available on Collector’s Edition 4K UHD and Blu-ray, “featuring Steelbook packaging, concept art cards and some never-before-seen bonus features.” The Steelbook edition will feature brand-new box art designed by artist Attila Szarka and collectible concept art cards. (People love their Steelbooks!)
The special features for the “Loki” release include “Designing the TVA” which features production designer Kasra Farahani and Tom Hiddleston (and contains a look at the upcoming season 2); the Miss Minutes TVA orientation video; deleted scenes (including a moment that introduces Frog Thor); a gag reel; and the “Assembled” documentary (another former Disney+ exclusive). Special features for the other releases will be shared at a later date.
“The Mandalorian” debuted with the rest of Disney+ on November 12, 2019. It quickly became the flagship series for the company’s direct-to-consumer streaming platform and inspired a whole host of spin-offs, including “The Book of Boba Fett” and “Ahsoka” (premiering this Tuesday on Disney+).
“WandaVision” was the first Marvel Studios Disney+ series, which debuted on the platform on January 15, 2021. “Loki” debuted several months later on June 9, 2021, resurrecting the Tom Hiddelston character that died at the beginning of “Avengers: Infinity War” and introducing the idea of the Multiverse. It is also the first Marvel Studios Disney+ to warrant a second season, which will start streaming in October.
Other Marvel Studios Disney+ series that followed “WandaVision” include “Moon Knight,” “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” and “Secret Invasion,” which recently wrapped.
All four of these Disney+ titles will be available to pre-order beginning on August 28.

hello! Can I ask about “dance” or “city” for the wip progress game?
oh ho hoo that's a good one ;]
Attila the Frog, Genghis Frog, Napoleon Bonafrog, and Rasputin the Mad Frog turned out to be a group of mild-mannered mutants. They were well meaning and naively followed Stockman’s orders thinking that the turtles were the bad guys. With Mikey’s help, they quickly discovered that the amphibians had no intention of helping Stockman take over New York. With some persuasion, Casey agreed to help arrange for the frog mutants to leave New York, and move down to the Florida Everglades away from the city.
But their fight was not yet over.
The Punk Frogs, as they called themselves, had offered their assistance in taking down Bebop and Rocksteady. They knew of the location where Stockman and the two henchmen were hiding, and led them to an abandoned sewage plant at the edge of the city.
~~~~~~~~~~
Mikey gave you a mischievous grin over your shoulder and snuck his hands around your waist. You got a bad feeling and set down what you were holding before Mikey suddenly hoisted you up.
“MIKEY!!!” You hollered as you were spun around the kitchen.
Donnie took notice from where he was relaxing in his computer chair and flipped open his phone to connect his music to the bluetooth speaker in the lounge. The song “When It Feels Right” by Chase White started playing on the speaker as Mikey obnoxiously mouthed the words. You squealed and started to giggle at the antics. He twirled you around and led you to dance into the open space. The rest of the boys started to emerge from their corners of the lair to watch you.
You know, this actually really helped me sharing this to stir my thoughts on how to finish my fic. Thanks for sending the ask!! I think Fragile will be finished today!! :D
TMNT: SATURDAY MORNING ADVENTURES #4
AUGUST 2023
BY ERIK BURNHAM, DAN SCHOENING, LUIS ANTONIO DELGADO AND ED DUKESHIRE
The turtles and the Punk Frogs have to split up to recover a device sent from Dimension X to the Florida swamps without leaving the city unattended. But of course, the device would fall into Leatherhead's hands.
SCORE: 10
If you are like me (and several other people) and you cannot tell the punk frogs apart... then this issue will not make a difference about it, but at least it doubles the chances of getting it right.
Now, as I am writing this... I only know that one of the frogs is Rasputin, let me check...
Ok, I had to actually check online, the other frog was Attila... and it wasn't the one I thought I was looking at (I confused Rasputin for Attila). As you can see... it's complicated. But I guess it doesn't matter much.
As the previous issue was overly complex for the amount of pages it had, this one was overly simplistic. It's barely an adventure... yet... it got a 10... why?
Well, to start with, it's a full chapter. If this was a different book, the moment Leatherhead showed up would be the cliffhanger. But in this case, they knew it was simple, and they let it be simple.
But I think the big reason for the high score is the art. Every time I look at the panels I cannot help but be reminded of those original five episodes. And to be more specific, the sticker album from the Turtlemania years. So this "10" is super biased by nostalgia. I am actually intrigued, if you weren't around during Turtlemania, what do you think of this book?
At point, though, I started wondering the implications of the art. Dan is recreating the style of the cartoon, something that for any licensed product is kind of usual business... but in the past that didn't mean the style HAD TO BE exactly like the cartoon. I've seen (and reviewed) Dan's art in the past and he was always a little cartoonish, so this isn't too far away from his style. Yet it so identical to the cartoon that it almost feels like the artist completely disappeared.
But you won't hear fans complain. This is the style the show should have kept for its 10 seasons. So to many, this is the one that worked the best. To be fair, the style of season 7 was also very good, in my opinion. But nothing really beats season one.
In any case, not much happened in this issue, but your brain goes into a dopamine explosion just by looking at the panels.
I can't get enough of this book.
How long until Paramount releases a reunion show in this style?
352 “Four Mysteries and Some Recollections”
This post is a brief tangent, some recollections growing up in the hills and woodlands of New Hampshire—though I couldn’t appreciate it fully at the time, looking back I find a lot of my natural inspiration coming from these periods, reflections on my childhood and nature. Like playing ‘Manhunt’, a sort of hide-and-seek mixed with tag played outdoors in the woods at night wearing camos and facepaint, or listening in awe to stories of American Indian trackers who left no marks or made no sounds walking through the tall grass. We really were a bunch of idiots—making aerosol flamethrowers or exploding bottle-rockets while fishing at a lake, yet these still are some of my fondest memories. I’ve found truth in the words of Transcendentalists, especially Thoreau and Emerson, who believed we ‘only see so much beauty as we carry,’ and that those who run away, or youths who think to find culture abroad, in Europe or elsewhere, ultimately cannot run away from themselves. (Though, as counterpoint, and middle ground, Emerson also concedes that occasional travel is like a good tonic that helps shake up routine, shifting surface-areas like tectonic plates to rattle up gems lying in wait within.) I envy not the man who has traveled widely but the man who is at home, drawing from the wells of beauty and inspiration, wherever he goes. Though one cannot help but wish to travel to the past sometimes. I wonder if nature holds the key to some of history’s most enduring secrets or surprises. Just during a backyard stroll in the woods of New Hampshire, finding a frog on the road smaller than the nail on my pinky—finding translucent, perfectly round red berries on a hedge that resemble embryos or fish-eggs—or that weird-looking film at the mouth of ponds and streams, a sinister laboratory green, which my neighbor claims is pollen, but in my imagination seems more like frog- or bugspawn in the same way sharks aren’t in public swimming pools, reminds me when Emerson suggested Thoreau made new discoveries everyday in his walks in nature—i wonder if they too hold the answers to such historical mysteries as these four I’ve been thinking about: 1) how did Hannibal cross the Alps with forty war elephants and still arrive in fighting condition? 2) what is the secret to Da Vinci’s claim that he ‘uncovered a way for humans to live underwater without food for weeks,’ 3) what exactly did Pope Leo say to Attila that made the Hun warlord, who would surely have conquered the western world, turn in his tracks without a word or second thought? 4) what is Tesla’s solution to ‘infinite energy,’ —atmospheric static, natural radio- or electromagnetic radiation—by which he claimed to have already succeeded with prototypes? Perhaps I will reflect on more memories and mysteries in another post. Meanwhile, I end this post with another fond recollection from an early morning stroll—
“Crisp November; they say NY never sleeps but, when it is so quiet and refreshing in the early winter morn, you could almost imagine the city sneaking a snooze after a sleepless night. The chilly but refreshing breeze reminds me of New Hampshire in the woods, one particularly sociable morning at that holy hour (at break of dawn) when I think animals silently convene to gossip about people--
[left-side of road; deer in front of a rabbit.]
Deer: "...so I was like, Bobby, ya gotta shed those antlers; I don't care how they make you feel, you gonna get caught in the branches one of these days and--OMG MRS. PIPPERSQUEAK--DON'T MOVE. Don't be alarmed, there's one of 'em bipeds right behind you..."
Rabbit: "HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP does it see us."
Deer: "...I don't know, it's just standing there, grinning like an idiot. Maybe if we stay really really still it won't think we're here..."
[10 mins later, down the road like some western showdown...]...a large chubby porcupine approaches me on the other end of a dusty road. The porcupine, with height disadvantage and lower vantage-point, sees me too late--it jolts in surprise. I try to say hi, but it makes a quick detour to the left, its chunky butt wiggling over the rockwall while a hindleg kicks futilely in air before managing itself over. So cute. Anyway—“
——beverage#004——peppermint milkshake. This is a treat from my boarding school days: homemade milkshake using a blender, with milk (probably can sub with oatmilk), vanilla icecream, a few of those cheap peppermint candies they put out in bowls at hotels and reataurants and, if you’re feeling naughty, just a bit of vodka or rum; alternatively in lieu of the peppermint some baileys or kahlua might be acceptable also. But the peppermint candy, broken into little specks in the milkshake, adds a nice texture and flavor. Off topic, and this is second time I’m mentioning this—I’ve been a huge fan of adaptogenic hot chocolate (specifically ‘macacchino’—cocoa mixed with maca root powder, from Organic Traditions); the combination makes the cocoa tastes extra rich and umami, i feel like my tastebuds have tastebuds. It is such a great invention. It tastes like if cocoa were grown in wet caves fed on escargots from sultans… why has noone hired me to be a copywriter yet.
They Not like us Frog shirt
They Not like us Frog shirt
Attila the Hun lived in the 5th century in Europe, and made a huge impression there aNd gained quite some fame . Temudjin the Genghis Khan was born 600 years later 1000s of miles away across Asia and would have grown up with a They Not like us Frog shirt base and tales of history that were very different from the european and did not contain any tales of Attila, neither doe Chinese record such mention the great Attila. He had no influence on East Asian history and was completely unknown. Same goes for Temudjins descendants, Ögodei would reach Europe ( or better his soldiers ) but he or any other would have heard nothing about Attila and not know who he is. If someone asked a Mongol Khan like Kublai what he thinks of Attila, providing that someone provided some background info, he’d likely say something like, that he does not know this Attila, and does not care who he is or was, for he is the great Khan of the mongols and this Attila is not a mongol and none of his concern.
