The quintessential problem with Claude and the deer is that they should not have been involved in the war at all, or at least not Claude. What does he have to gain participating on it? Nothing, and he makes it even more explicit in azure moon when he dissolves the alliance. He could've pretty easely given the power to Lorenz or Hilda and nope out of there (what he does in silver snow), as it is clear througouht white clouds that he doesn't have as much of an attachtment to Fodlan as he does Almyra. And it isn't like the devs couldn't take the deer studients out during post-TS, when Marianne unless recruited is pressumed dead, and Lorenz unless recruited joins the imperial forces and dies helping the empire.

Outside of the problems with racism and the bigoted tropes related to "savage cultures" the Fodlan games perpetuate, the devs did not know how to use one of their house leaders for the main plot of "church vs empire", and idk if that's because they bit more than they could chew, or if it was intentional taking into account who gets the short end of the stick in both games happens to be mixed and from one of those "savage cultures".

TBH...

It's on the devs for having wanted to add a third lord to their game, but failing to, well, link him to any of those plots.

Supreme Leader's war of unification?

Well, Nopes gave him a part this plot - and yet there's no third choice in this plot : you bend the knee or you die. Nopes' wise, Clout decided (in his route) to bend the knee with his "alliance" that is totally supposed to make Supreme Leader reconsider her desire to roll over Leicester and make it part of Adrestia again!

(Granted, Nopes don't tell us how his plea to stop the war after killing the evil lizard lady will play out and leaves an open ending...)

In Houses, well, he doesn't want Leicester to be flattened, and goes on the offensive (counter offensive?) when Billy pops up with basically what is the plot events of Silver Snow (down to using the same strategy with disguises) with the Gronder Map.

And that addition radically changes... well, everything regarding Claude's relevance : he cannot form an alliance with the Blue Lord or the Kingdom to get rid of the Empire because "plot convenient myopia" and apparently Dimitri BaD enough that he attacks Alliance troops for no reason.

Forget SS, GW (and AM, in a way) is just using plot contrived excuse to... not have an united from to face the Empire. Why? IDK. Each Lord must be the hero of his story, or the unification boner means only one of them can "win" an unified Fodlan i'd guess.

Nabateans and the plot ?

No one gives a fig about that "plot", so it's basically pursuing a side-quest for no payoff.

Now, as @fantasyinvader wrote, Claude's story and journey as one who is ignorant and gets to learn and clear his misconceptions + the background of the land we're living in could have been interesting, doubly so given how Billy is voiceless and cannot play the "protag discovers the world at the same time as the player does" role.

But it has... no payoff.

Much like Rhea's infodump about the World, Relics and Nabateans... Claude reacts to the mention that Billy has a rock for heart, and not about his crest, his shiny bow or the fact that Rhea also had a vested interest in, uh, getting rid of prejudice against people who are perceived as "different" because her family was genocided for that.

Hell, the entire "prejudice" angle from Supreme Leader's war is swept under the rug, so we can have the Deers say nonsense like wanting to rekt Thales for Supreme Leader's sake, while only Flayn and Seteth can hear her "nabateans shouldn't have power over the people"...

There's no parallel drawn in the game about Claude and Rhea's situation - since she's at the center of this subplot - about being perceived as "outsiders" and not being able to do various things from existing to "rule over the people" because of what they are, or even faking their identities and building metaphorical walls between them and the people they're living with because they are afraid of rejection.

Nah, we can't have that, Rhea must be irrelevant to the possible, while also being the biggest scapegoat/dragon of this saga at the same time as a nebulous red herring to sell pots of tea.

Ihthe "fight against prejudice and make people accept each other" angle was that relevant to his route, Claude would have most likely talked or interacted with Dimitri and learnt of his plan to cleanse Duscur's name in his Father's assassination, raised a brow at Petra being a hostage and done something else than give a surprised pikachu face at Rhea's infodumps.

He could have reacted at her reveal that if you might want to live in peace with some people, if those people don't want that and label you as nothing more than fodder or things to be looted, it's not going to work.

And of course, gave a reaction at your second in command (unofficially?)'s reveal that, uh, her house keeps identured Almyran children as war prisoners?

Some people already made some AUs or "what ifs" routes for a proper Claude route and not the nonsense that we got in FE16 where it's basically "I react to the same plot events that happen in the other routes but top it all with a zombie".

The Deers could have been "better introduced" in a plot about getting rid of prejudice, or learning the causes of this prejudice : Marianne was/is hunted because of her blood ties to Maurice - not because what she did, but because what Momo did back then! - Lysithea was treated as a guinea pig and her house rolled over by Adrestia who has a less than rosy views about the "offshoots" that are called Leicester and Faerghus, Lorenz could explain that prejudice, just like piety, are tools used by people whenever they're relevant, like, some people being pissed at foreigners and some who aren't because they make money through international trading like Margrave Edmund does, Hilda justifying her House's animosity towards Almyrans because they lost many people in those pointless skirmishes (maybe a closed ones? Her mom or Uncle or whatever?) which would make Claude realise that "ending prejudice" is a much more difficult quest than, idk, just killing one or two randoms.

The commoner trio might share Claude's views about prejudice and welcoming foreigners, but have more "mundane" worries like being able to have a roof and food to eat, which might be the case of some people in Leicester, or tell us more about Leicester and how it works (give us more insight about the different countries if Fodlan ffs).

Maybe we could have add a Claude who learns and discovers Fodlan, and along the way, starts to love the land as much, if not more, than Almyra and really wanting to protect this land from whatever Supreme Leader's cooking, or becoming an Almyra v.2.

I don't think making Claude the third wheel of the plot was maliciously intentional because of the, uh, implications with RL cultures and Almyra, but more like they didn't know where to put him.

I noticed you wrote the conflict as one that is "the church vs the empire", but I do not really agree - if that was the case, the war would have stopped in VW/AM/SS the second Rhea was caught.

The main conflict is Supreme Leader's war of conquest - with the twist that the devs were really banking on their brilliant idea of making the red emperor the titular waifu of the game that each person/lord/whatever Rhea is must find a way to excuse and/or justify her actions.

With this in mind, AM is basically Dimitri's fall (and rise!) because of his ties to Supreme Leader.

In VW? The game cannot explore too much outside of the Supreme Leader scope so we're left with.. well, what VW was.

Claude cannot go on a journey to discover Fodlan and get rid of his misconceptions... because part of those same misconceptions are used by Supreme Leader to start her war, or the sheer concept of a conquest, aka a nation being rolled over by another is anathema to his, supposed, ideal of wanting people to accept each other despite their differences.

I ranted about it since day 5, but the Nabatean subplot (and Fodlan in general) is accessory to Supreme Leader war, there is no point aka no payoff for learning all of that, because you cannot challenge the one who wants to unify the continent.

As such, Claude cannot deviate too far from this plot - while receiving infodumps about "the lore" - and we end up with third wheel of a bike and characters who, at first and second glance, appear to be irrelevant.

Fodlan ends up unified despite starting as three separate countries, we feel bad for Supreme Leader and mourn her unknown ideals, Rhea is gone and the Agarthans aren't a problem anymore.

the second the devs said leicester was a republic, claude was doomed. Merchant republics are always irrelevent or straight up useless in the FE series!

Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan and Anakin

On the debate over if Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan were the better teachers for Anakin, I can see the point of each side but I personally think Qui-Gon was better equipped to deal with a student like Anakin than Obi-Wan when he started training Ani and it isn´t because Obi-Wan was a bad teacher per se, in fact I think Old Obi-Wan would have been a great mentor for Anakin just like he was with Luke and that´s the problem, Young Obi- wan didn´t have the life experience to train a kid like Anakin, who was an outsider of the order and who had a bad beggining with the jedi council since the moment he got to the temple.

If I compare them at the time we meet them in the Phantom Menace:

Qui-Gon Jinn: Was a man who was about to end in a good note Obi-Wan´s training, who was patient, explored the living force elements because he felt the jedi had disconnected themselves from what the force was saying while being overly burdened by tradition and obedience to the senate, who was able to manage a discussion with the council when he felt they were not managing something in the best way and the council more or less understood where he was coming from even if they often disagreed with Qui-Gon, he may have shared some of Count Dooku´s criticism on the Jedi Order but he still saw great value in staying a jedi and didn´t agree with Dooku´s radical take on things, etc.

Even his decision of letting Obi-Wan do his trials so he could take care of Anakin was very reasonable, Obi-Wan was a young adult with plenty of experience as a padawan he just expected him to get more in contact with the living force before being made a Jedi and he also didn´t expect Anakin to be rejected from the get go and he had promised his mother to take care of Anakin, he knew if he was sent back to Tatooine Anakin would be made a slave again in a matter of days and he truly believed Anakin was the chosen one, he didn´t made that decision to hurt Obi-Wan at all and Obi-Wan was old enough to understand that even if he still felt rejected.

In short Qui-Gon was flexible enough to tell Anakin the same Jedi teachings in a way he could understand because he grew up outside the jedi temple "Follow your instincts" and being more strict when he wanted Anakin to learn something or correct his behavoir just like he did with Obi-Wan with his "pathetic life forms" comment about Jar Jar and Anakin without being overly critical and given how many hugs he gave little Ani, Qui-Gon would not have had a problem being the father figure Anakin was looking for without questioning his own sense of being a jedi, he didn´t like tradition that much after all and he also would have been able to be a mediator between the Jedi Council and Anakin when he felt they were being overly critical of him without fear of feeling too attachted to Anakin because he obviously often disagreed with them on many other issues and they were used to that from him.

Obi-Wan: Old Obi-Wan shared many of Qui-Gon´s virtues as a mentor, add to this the terrible experience of being exiled with his family destroyed and the result is that old Obi-Wan was a way more flexible and empathetic person than when he was a young man.

Young Obi-Wan was a padawan and became a knight and teacher of a young child in a matter of days, he didn´t choose Anakin as many other Jedi did but he accepted being his master because that was Qui-Gon´s last wish, we started with the wrong foot here because Child Anakin knows this, he also knows Obi-Wan thought he was dangerous, just like the Council did, which is not a good way to start a mentor - student relationship. From the beggining Anakin has doubts Obi-Wan even likes him or if he´s just taking care of him out of a sense of duty.

Young Obi-Wan,contrary to his own teacher, likes the Jedi rules and traditions, we see how he was dissapointed Qui-Gon wasn´t part of the council despite being a very wise mentor and but he´s dissapoint on Qui-Gon, at no point does he question the Jedi Council way of doing things like his teacher did, except on the matter of Anakin becoming his padawan, he also loves being a Jedi and his dream is that him and his loved ones(Qui-Gon, Anakin) get to be part of the Jedi council at some point. So when Anakin disagreed with the Council Obi-Wan became dissapointed on him without even trying to look at it from Anakin´s perspective just to get a more balanced view. We could see it with Ahsoka´s situation, Obi-Wan didn´t question the council and thought of Ahsoka leaving the Jedi as her failing them, not them failing her.

Same with Anakin´s not being truly trusted by the Council despite all the missions he did for them and all the ways he helped them with the Clone Wars. You would think they would give him a heads up about their decision of not making him a master because he wasn´t ready yet as a mere courtesy, Anakin would have agreed with them because that was exactly what he told Palpatine when he made the suggestion, not doing so in front of everybody and also making the suggesting he was influencing the Chancellor to get the possition when Anakin wasn´t doing anything of the sort.

Young Obi-Wan had a tremendous burden being in charge of educating the Chosen one, this would have been hard enough if Anakin was a jedi temple raised child but he wasn´t, he was a child just days out of slavery who had to leave behind his Mother in a defenseless state(with a bomb inside her body) and was told by the adults in charge of him that he could not be a good jedi if he feared what was going to happen to her and that she was an attachment he had to let go off if he didn´t want to fall to the darkside, that´s bassically the worst approach they could ever take with him, because the Jedi Council is holding a completely unreasonable expectative out of a 9 year old kid fresh out of slavery who was born and raised in a family unit, his family was his Mom, not the Jedi even if the Jedi often acted as if they didn´t see each other as family. It´s unreasonable even for an adult who didn´t grow up with the Jedi like Luke was. (PD: Luke didn´t regret chosing to care for Leia, Han, Chewie and his Dad despite being told so by Obi-Wan and Yoda).

This of course made almost impossible for Anakin to forget his Mom or the guilt he felt at not being able to help her(it also was the reason why he snapped so bad when Shmi was tortured and killed in a horrific way, because he essentially broke his promise to her, he didn´t got back for her because he was too busy being a "good jedi" who leaves behind "attachments" to even allow himself to think about her. So in the end, being a Jedi wasn´t worth abandoning his mother and letting her die and this becomes the preamble towards his other bigger fall to the darkside, when Padme´s life seemed to be in danger. This probably was also the reason why he saw his marriage to Padme without conflict with his Jedi identity, he truly didn´t expect to still be a Jedi after the War and the main reason he stayed with the Jedi at all was his love and care for Obi-Wan( and Ahsoka) in fact Obi-Wan being in danger is the whole reason he goes to Geonosis after a little push from Padme and he fought in the clone wars also for his sense of duty towards the Jedi, something Padme encouraged.

Young Obi-Wan understood Anakin´s need for his mother but he didn´t approve of it because that relationship was agaisnt everything he was ever told since he was a child about being a good jedi, he also thought the best way to deal with it was by making Anakin remember his compromise with the order, because he was afraid of letting go of Jedi teachings and make a mistake with his padawan by leading him astray, which just sent Anakin the message Obi-Wan didn´t care about his personal issues, he just cared about him being a "good jedi" tm, so he could not trust him with his inner thoughts and perceptions for fear of being rejected by Obi-Wan. The painful part of this is that both truly care for the other but they were almost speaking different languages at this point.

The most devastating problem in their relationship was the fact Anakin looked at Obi-Wan as a father figure while Obi-Wan thought the very concept was anatema to everything he was ever told, he could accept being his teacher, mentor, friend or brother but not his father, he didn´t seem to be able to find a middle ground or to believe they could make some adjustements without him feeling like he was betraying his Jedi identity.

I repeat, I don´t think Obi-Wan would have been a bad teacher of bassically any other padawan and he wasn´t responsbile for Anakin´s fall to the darkside, Vader himself didn´t made him responsible of his fall " I am not YOUR failure Obi-Wan" , he was just furious at Obi-Wan for leaving him to die by burning alive, one of the most painful ways of letting someone die and not even making sure he was truly dead(he was also hurt because Obi-Wan = father in his heart but he didn´t like to talk about it as Anakin so he sure as hell is not going to talk about it now that he´s Vader) and Obi-Wan is rightfully furious at Vader for killing the Jedi and betraying him at the point he´s living in denial separating Anakin from Vader just to deal with it.

So Obi-Wan most definitely would have done very well with Ahsoka or any other padawan, especially if he got some years of solo experience and his own natural disagreetments with the Jedi Council, he just didn´t have the life experience and flexibility to be more secure in his role as a Jedi Master in the kind of traning child Anakin had needed at the time and I don´t think we have to vilify Qui-Gon just to talk about Obi-Wan being a good teacher, it´s not an attack agaisnt the character but a note about how the narrative presented the story, it´s a tragedy after all and this is the reason.

As a final commentary, this was also why Qui-Gon´s and Obi-Wan´s fight with Darth Maul was called "Duel of the Fates" acording to Lucas, it´s a meta message about the light and dark side dueling over the chosen one. If Maul had killed both Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon it´s very possible Palpatine would have adopted Anakin and the galaxy truly would have been really put in the worst possible scenario imo and Luke and Leia may never have been born.

Order 66 was already planned and it wasn´t Anakin´s revenge, it was Sidius´s revenge on behalf of the Sith.

The fall of the republic was already in the works because there were many Senators already working with Palpatine and the Jedi didn´t involve themselves in politis so it was a matter of time.

Anakin was the card sent by the force to turn the tables agaisn´t the Sith.

PD: Of course the prophecy was still a prophecy and I like fanfic so I could see rebel alliance leader Padme Amidala developing a secret romance with Darth Vader, heir to the Empire but that´s just me.

Being Co-dependent And Having An Anxious-Attachtment style:

For the first time, I am truly understanding and realizing that me having an “anxious attachment style” and my exes, all having the “avoidant style” and yet it’s the perfect match! They know I won’t leave and walk away unless they push me too far or ghost me, so they can abuse me however they want. 😭 Then when I meet my first “healthy relationship” I’m already pleading with them to never hurt me or leave me but they never even showed any signs that they would ever leave AND I am so fearful that at any moment they will walk away so I create problems in my head overthinking and put up a guard so not to get hurt and yet my new partner hasn’t even done anything …. Therefore almost pushing the person away because I’m scared and they don’t understand what my problem is and they’re tired of having to “prove” themselves. Wow!!! Major breakthrough!!!!

I TOLD MYSELF TODAY: you have got to stop being co-dependent on men for your stability and happiness. You have got to be OK with yourself!! You have got to be able to stand on your own 2 feet!! If for whatever reason your spouse did leave, you should let him go and be able to be with yourself. (Although my spouse has not shown any signs of ever leaving me, he’s been so faithful and has not deserved the way I’ve been closed off from him.)

all this time I have been so fearful that my husband is just like my exes. There has been times my husband has not been open with me, not told me things about his day or about work and not asked me how I’m doing. But he did tell me this week that he’s battling some anxiety and it’s affecting him at work and it’s even affecting his relationship with his parents so that could be a problem between us as well , but I also think I contribute to the problems because I too do not share feelings out of fear that my feelings won’t be received or reciprocated or understood just like my past relationships. This is a pattern that I HAVE to break no matter what. I’m just so embarrassed and ashamed. I’ve already told my husband about my exes but I don’t wanna talk about emotional abuse with my husband. Just the thought of it makes me cringe. I don’t wanna talk about it with any of my family or friends that’s why I started this blog so I could privately write down what I’m going through and deal with it on my own without involving people that I feel like they would only get their feelings hurt if they truly knew what I had been through so far…

DRAGON FIVE: Lee Chung-Yoon (+ Lee Jin-Sung)

...He matters a lot to me ok. I actually discovered him thanks to the Random Page button on the wiki (I needed to make some Sims back in 2020), so my attachtment to him is slightly longer than the overall bench. Though it is interesting that as I was actually writing a setting for him, a japanese fan made me realize something about this player that, well... Changed my whole view about him, for better or worse.

However, there's a little catch, and there's an extra character here, Fire Dragon's Coach Lee Jin-Sung. I already spoiled the reason why, but I'm going to develop on it further here.

Both Chung-Yoon's parents work at the same hospital. His father is a nurse, and his mother a doctor. He mostly has to rely on his grandparents for care at the moment.

Like his profile says, he's very praised for his well care of the elders, including those of his own family. In fact, we could also say she's the actual caretaker of his grandparents instead. Some appreciate the detail and patience he has with old people, and his father often wonders if he could work as a nurse in the future. However... Let's say that's only one side of the coin.

...CY lives a double life, pretty much. While at home he's gentle and silent, at school he's a literal beast. Not only he's cold and asocial, but he's also extremely aggresive, often getting in trouble with the local bullies and delincuents of the class. All hidden from the adults and teachers of course; there are many, many street fights that Chung-Yoon participated AND won.

...It is actually unknown if CY does actually like this brute lifestyle or not. But it seems he at least tries very hard to cover it up from his parents -and specially his elders-.

...My reasoning to this whole HC comes from his actual hissatsu lineup, in which Breakthrough 2 is included. He's the only FD member to have it, you're welcome.

The only one who knows about his secret life however is Lee Jin-Sung, the FD coach. In my setting, he is the step-brother of Chung-Yoon's dad, as their parents married when they were young. So he's technically his uncle, even if they don't look that similar.

When CY was called to the selection, some controversy sparked upon making the connection; even making people accuse Jin-sung of nepotism. Since he doesn't seem to have any children able to play, why not use his brother's one instead?

This does cause Chung-Yoon to be seen down by other korean players and the media, often disregarding his actual soccer skills. And hell, even CY himself starts to have his own worries over why was he the one choosen for FD. But no matter what how many times the confronts the coach, he always gets the same answer from Jin-Sung: "There's a hidden potential in you, but you have to realize it".

Similarly to Ji-Nan, Chung-Yoon also uses football to express his anger away, unfortunately with a very aggresive playstyle involving way too many tackles to the opponent. And maybe few red cards. Maybe as the tournament progresses he'll eventually to find other ways to play without causing unnecessary harm.

At least, not everything with Chung-Yoon is always pain or harm. When practice is over he likes to spend his time window shopping, specially around those streets that sell unique things. Most of the time he'll do it alone, but in rare occassions he'll get to do it with one of his teammates.

Regarding them... Let's just say that CY isn't an unknown name at all, specially for the FD players that live in his same city; so -almost- everyone is aware of what Chung-Yoon can do if he gets angry. Because of that, nobody ever tries to take that risk.

I think the only time it went south with him was with Nagumo Haruya, I wouldn't be surprised if his atitude got onto CY's nerves. If it wasn't for both Aphrodi and Chang-Soo, chances were that Nagu wouldn't have survived until the Inazuma Japan match.

As for the bench, I think he gets so and so with them. Not bad, but its true that deep down Ji-Nan and the others are terrified of him, so they always have to watch their step whenever Chung-Yoon is nearby. Well, maybe not Hyeon-Dae. He treats him like he'd treat everyone, be it for ignorance or by innocence. At least CY takes it well, it seems...

One last player that treats him surprisingly nice too is Cho Myong-Ho. Yes, CY is intimidating, but look at those kicks! There's a formidable taekwondo rival hidden within! During the whole FFI he begged CY again and again to at least have a versus together, though it was never accepted from the bencher. Maybe it is for the best.

And with that, all the benchers who were clearly vissible on the anime have been covered :D

11. Is there a specific physical feature or item that holds special significance to your character? Why is it important to them?

Viviane tends to avoid being overly attachted to physical features when it comes to herself or to others. She is the first to say that we age and change throughout our lives becoming too swept up in what we see today could be a disappointment tomorrow.

Now items are a different story. There is one very special item that she has and that is a heirloom tarot deck that has been passed from family member to family member. There are many stories about the deck, things that have been recorded in journals that speak of it being able to feel the feelings of those who touch it. I dare say if it was ever stolen or lost she would stop offering tarot readings all together this deck means that much to her.

Yes I definitely agree this was the litmus test for both the Jedi and the Republic and it seems only Darth Plagueis, Palpatine master and Qui-Gon noticed. Plagueis feared the meaning of the force by sending a former slave child as it´s chosen one to destroy the sith. Since Anakin was a child he thought they were already done.

So I guess it was also a warning the fact Palpatine choose that moment to kill his master, he killed the only two people who believed in the prophecy, his master and Qui-Gon Jinn by proxy, making sure the prophecy was going to be fulfilled one way or the other.

While the Jedi judge Anakin for his past, his age, his power, his feelings and his bond with his mother and believed it was Anakin the one who had to live up to their standards as their chosen one even if they didn´t quite believed it, without revising what those standards were or if they still could honestly call themselves guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy if they only served the Senate and slavery was a non issue, they didn´t have to bother with.

Between Palpatine and the Jedi Order they teached Anakin that his job was to keep up the status quo, that he needed to be non-attachted even to his loved ones and even if he sacrificed them, that he needed to follow orders not think with his own counsel, evertime he tried to argue his pov he was quickly shut down, they teached him that it was ok to bleed off for them to earn their trust even if they will never trust him, but its ok because it was for the greater good of the republic even if it wasn´t going to change ever or address it´s issues and lack of care towards the wider galaxy at all and this is the definition of Darth Vader.

Vader is the guardian of the Republic turned Empire, he took the place that used to belong to the Jedi Order, follow orders, keep the status quo and don´t question the way things are ruled, so unattachted he doesn´t question Palpatine when he considers neccesary to wipe out the Jedi for the security of the Empire and even his own Son, that´s Anakin without attachments, without care for anything but the cause, for him it´s ok the excesses of the Republic turned Empire because they are bringing peace and order to the galaxy, it´s the people who just don´t understand the greater good and his own original wishes, freedom for the slaves, justice for the galaxy, peace and order on the planets, compassion, unconditional love, love for his family and care for Obi-Wan and the Jedi Order are just things he needs to get rid off because they don´t allow him to do the job for the greater good.

This wasn´t something he learned or was groomed into him just by Palpatine, this he learned as well as a member of the Jedi Order.

But the prophecy wasn´t fulfilled yet, the Sith were still around, it was neccesary someone so free like Luke to show Vader the galaxy and the Order could indeed change and that his choices matter, his pov matters and his care/love for his family matter and are his real self which lead the way towards Anakin stopping the Sith and a new opportunity for a different way of leading thigns for the galaxy.

Anakin was the opportunity to change things by changing and considering what his life and existence meant while the Sith and Anakin turned Sith were the punishment for the Jedi and the Republic for failing to change their deep issues and lack of care towards the galaxy.

the one interpretation i always thought was obvious but never actually saw expressed by other sw fans is that anakin's unconventional birth circumstances are the force sending the message in more ways than one. so the force didn't like siths messing up with it and sent anakin to the jedi to counter that. yes, as some kind of WMD but also. anakin being born on the backwards planet with slavery abandoned by the republic. due to this the jedi order wasn't able to detect him thus anakin brought up to the temple "too old". the very existence of anakin exposes the republics and the jedi orders flaws. it's a litmus test, a call/forewarning from the force itself for the republic/the jedi order to reckon with it's own rot or perish. that's the only way anakin could be their savoir. the only way for anakin to preserve his faith in the republic and the jedi order. practically, revolutionize and be aided by the chosen one against the sith or die by his hand in your arrogance. we know which route was taken. if only they took anakin's status as the chosen one more seriously. instead the jedi order with the republic did nothing to accommodate anakin. instead of self critique they decided that it's anakin who's wrong in his feelings and reactions to the world, not them. that's it's the child who's corrupt due to his traumatic living experience not the institutions that let it happen and don't lift a finger to stop it. the jedi order refusing to face the signal for the change did it's best to mold anakin into a mere tool, just a cog in their war machine. thus stripping him of traits he used to have as a kid on tatooine: an independent moral code, the belief in the republic and the jedi order. so the darth vader was born.

Reader was quite done with it, the upper moons knew it, everyone knew it except Muzan. When Reader ran away it wasn't much of a surprise to anyone, they even left a letter.

When Muzan had found out Reader had gotten far, they were in a forest perhaps 40 days away.

The nanny Muzan hired for Reader was murdered in one of the most gruesome ways possible, yet Muzan turned the Nanny in a demon. After all, his darling was rather attachted to the nanny.

Reader was exploring their new temporary home, knowing full well that they will have to move soon enough. Reader loved the village, the villagers that meant them, they adored them. "Will you be staying long?" A food seller asked Reader as they bought some rice and pepper. "No, most likely a week or six, I'm travelling around." Reader was immune to the sun, so they could act like a normal human. "Awh, I have a son that you might be interested in, or a woman if you might be into that."

The woman did her eyebrows up and looked at them with seducing like look, it was obviously playful. Reader laughed, it was a laugh that filled their eyes with light. "I am into that~!" Reader answered back honestly. "Men or woman? how about both?" Now Reader started to raise their eyebrows playfully. Reader payed and the sales-lady obviously was fond of them.

"Would you perhaps, like to eat with me and my family?" Reader's eyes brightened, they missed their mom's cooking. And Muzan would only give them blood. "Yes, please! Shall I help with cooking? And perhaps help you with selling?"

"I would love your help."

That night, Reader had their first home-made meals in years. "Thank you for the food! It's so delicious!" The husband looked with pride at his wife, the children looked quite smug as well. "May I ask what city's you have visited?" And with that the night of stories, drinking, food began. Yet, Reader was sloppy, Muzan found them. And as he saw them talking to the human family, the fondness in their eyes were visible.

The family was obviously fond of them as well, much to Muzan's annoyance. And within the blink of an eye, the family was murdered, right in front of Reader. A scream left their mouth. "Hush, child." Muzan sneered. "How dare you! They did nothing wrong!"

"How dare I? How dare you?!"

Reader quickly shut their mouth as tears ran down their face. "Now, let's get home, unless you want this whole village to be burnt to the ground."

Hearing them all laugh, seeing them smile, it made me so happy my heart almost burst everytime. As I sit here typing this I can remember each of their individual laughs and smiles. And as I keep replaying them in my head, the sadness and loneliness seeps in. And I know it's just post con depression. I know I'm probably overly attached to them. And I know it's going to sound ridiculous but it honestly, it HONESTLY, feels like I'm not at home anymore now that I'm not with them. I'm really sorry if this is overdramatic or if this is clingy but they're just so fucking important to me I just want to be able to see them all every single day of my life. They're family. They're my family. And I want to see them again.

Vanitas & Misha Analysis;

One of the thing i love in Vnc is the parallels between characters. I love how Misha is the opposite of Vanitas when it comes to way they deal their trauma and of course, it will be different cause their trauma is really different.

Misha is the cheerfull, optimistic type. He smiles, even in worst situtions. He easiely attachted to people to the point he will easiely trust strangers and be manipulated by them (teacher).

Vanitas is the cold, pessimistic type. He always put distant between himself and others to the point he will call Noe as stranger even after everything they had been through together.

Misha presents himself as cute, fragile, defendless little child. Most likely because 1- he was raised as prostitute so he was raised to act as cute 2- he wants people to like him, if he be adroable enough, he thinks people will like him 3- he doesnt want other people to hurt him. Acting defendless child will at least work on some people so they will pity him and wont hurt him. (Though, he is still a child).

Unlike Misha, Vanitas is more pridefull type so he will always present himself as cool, independent and strong, even when he needs help. Misha wants people to take care of him, he is too independent and he is a child so he is honest with himself. For little affection, he would do anything while there is nothing Vanitas would hate more than being pitied.

 If Misha is always honest about his feelings and say whatever it is in his mind, Vanitas always hide it. Misha is very simple, he simply likes warm things and hates pain while Vanitas is always complicated.

How ironic that we still doesnt get Vanitas’s full story even though he is main character but the moment Misha come, he throw his backstory to the audience. Its also interesting that Misha’s desire is a lot look like typical protagonist’s desire than Vanitas’s while he is the antagonist.

Vanitas is obsessed with revenge, he will ignore his all relationships for the sake of it. Misha is opposite, he said he wont forgive his brother but he still cant even properly get his revenge cause he still love is brother. His relationships is far more important for him than anything. He is obssesed with his relationship to do point he will do anything for it.

Even their purpose is opposite. Misha wants to rewrite Luna’s existence while Vanitas wants to erase every single part of it.

Misha’s unable to let go of Luna is similar to Jack (From Pandora Hearts). They both couldnt let go of their loved ones and they try to bring them back to the life. They both became prostitute, they both didnt have father figures, they had unhealthy relationships with their mother etc etc. They are similar characters. But here’s the difference; Misha is child when all of those things happen while Jack is an adult.

Jack had friends and he could move on but rejects it until the end while Misha cant. Because he doesnt have friends. He doesnt have a family to return. Vanitas says ‘I cant come with you’ but he also doesnt say ‘You can come with me’. He is rejecting to be Misha’s family in a way and Misha knows it.

Unlike Jack, Misha is also capable of opening his hearth to the others so there is hope for him. His interaction with Domi is proof of it. ‘I love kind people’.

And we still not fully know Vanitas’s story but he is character who always lives with grief. For Misha, this was the first time he actually had family so its first time he is dealing with grief while Vanitas had family at some point before Misha and Luna.

First mother’s death, later father’s death, then Luna’s and Misha’s. He thought Misha was dead. Because of all this grief, he hates himself cause he blames himself for all of it.

This is why when No 71 was mentioned, Vanitas looked broken.

I think, for Vanitas, Misha is like shackles, something that holding him back cause he is not responsible for him but he feels he is. Misha symbolise everything Vanitas wants to escape and he doesnt want to face and by not facing with past, Vanitas knows he is leaving Misha behind and thats mostly likely why he looks so broken whenever he thinks Misha ad his pain. He feels guilty. Though, i do believe that they both like each others as siblings but it became painfull for both of them.

Vanitas’s biggest fear is loosing someone he loves cause of himself while Misha’s biggest fear is being alone forever.

Their relationship is also similar to Gilbert and Vincent from Pandora Hearths so most likely, they will face with each others again and hopefuly solve the conflict. Because chapter 55.5 wasnt enough.

I think Misha will eventually understand what Vanitas means. ‘Deads wont come back’, ‘It will not be the same’. Misha mostly likely will experience with hard way and he wil realize that this is not the same warmth he felt and he will need help.

We dont know why Vanitas is so desperately try to erase all ot if (i think there is more to do than what Vanitas says to Misha in chapter 55.5) but i think at some point, he might give up on this. Instead of constantly dealing with revenge and guilty or erasing to past, he might decided to face with it. So he will face with Mikhail properly. He will accept that he was trying to run away from Misha all this time and hopefully stop doing it.

I think its really important for both of them. This is how they resolve the conflict between them and heal from their trauma. This is something they both needs to do, i think. Well, we will see. I love them, especially Misha.

I know a lot of people talk about how Sophie will give a reality check to Benedict and I agree but given how the things are playing on the show I bet Eloise will also have a reality check from Sophie, Eloise is too attacht to Benedict to not be trying to be around Sophie all the time and Eloise is always complaining about the woman's position in society but she has no idea about the women outside the ton and Sophie will be like "yeah, but you still have more options than other women outside"

Oh Sophie will definitely give Eloise a reality check too, I am looking forward to it. Sophie wouldn’t actually take Eloise to visit the poorhouse, she wouldn’t dismiss Eloise’ antics as immaturity but she would be kinder about all the things Eloise still has to learn about female liberation, such as having employment or being in the world without the protection of a father, brother or husband. And it would serve for Benedict’s education so well. 

In that time that Sophie was Eloise maid, I want the show to use Sophie to  walk Eloise trough the life of an average maid and show her the places where commoners do their shopping or buy their food, which are very different from the places privileged people visit.  Benedict already knows this but it would be great for Eloise to be shown the ropes of womanhood from the perspective of someone not born into privileged like her.

I think I’ve said it before, that I’m pretty sure that Eloise had such a good relationship with her step children because Sophie always told her what is the family she dreamed about when her father remarried and when Eloise met with Oliver and Amanda, she consciously tried to be extra kind to her potential step children because no child should ever have to go trough life feeling unwanted or unloved by their step parent. 

Sophie and Eloise friendship is very cute and we get to see bits of it in AOFAG and TSPWL hopefully the show will expand on that

7. How do you create/style your sims in CAS? I usually start of with the hair and work from there. Then the outfit and the accesories. I pick a colour and put it in every look. Rosie got a lot of Browns as a Barbarian. Kilian got reds, since he is a passionate bard. Aria got a lot of whites and golds and yellows, for purity since she is a cleric. Puck got green and brown, because they are nature colours. Ivy got blue, because of her tomboy attitude. Macy got pinks, because she tecnically wasn't gonna be the monk and I wanted to make her super girly. But then I got super attachted her and changed some of her colours to light purple, which suits monk more. Phoenix wasn't really colour coded, I just wanted to dress her very momlike. Faith got nature colours again, as a ranger. Robin got mostly black, with a bright colour here and there, with here being a rogue. Jasper got Orange, because of his name, and because of the whole fire theme. Saiya got black obviously, with some reds, since I went for that goth girl/Addams Family look. Akasha wears blue, because, wizards give me darkblue vibes 28. How do you choose your sims’ traits, aspiration, and/or career? When I do a challenge I just follow the rules. Other than that I just go for the career that suit the vibes the sim gives me. 31. 4th house: your past takes up a lot of your thinking time, looking back on all the could have, should have moments that have long gone, this can be a source of anxiety if it is done so as a debilitating coping mechanism. This can also indicate success and interst in higher education, and spending a considerable ammount of time dedicated to this.

10th house: your reputation. You think a lot about your status in society and the workplace and how to get up in the world, and to climb the literal or figurative corporate ladder. You deciate a lot of time and energy thinking and owrrying about your public apperance and want to be seen as an intellectual. You may come across as very studious, quick-witted, and nervous to collegeues and society in the workplace.

11th house: you think about society at a global scale, what is happening to the world? Climate change? World hunger? You are all over societal humanitarian challaneges and spend a lot of mental energy deciphering and worrying about what has come of the world? How you can communicate this to your peers? And how to change this? You may also think a lot of your goals and aspirtaions, and in particular how they allign with society as a whole.

12th house: you spend a great deal thinking in general, you are a born thinker and do so often, althought your thoughts are not always clear and accessible to you, they may often feel lost as soon as they arrive. Often jumbled and disorganised your thoughts can mesh into your dreams and sometimes be hard to untangle reality from dreamland. You may be anxious or spend a lot of time thinking as a form of escape or putting a lot of energy into escapist tendancies (drugs, alcohol, over sleeping, isolating yourself, self-harm etc.) for this reason you may have trouble facing or communicating flulidly what you are running from.

He

Isn’t it funny how at first you aren’t attracted to someone and then all of a sudden he becomes the most attractive man you’ve ever seen?

That’s my story now. When I first saw his face I thought I could never be really attracted to him. I was wrong. He is sweet, cozy, mature, kind, sexual and totally up my ally. 

When did my attitude towards him change? Hmm. I don’t even really know. I have to admit we started out in a sexual way online. But hey, what connections don’t start out that way these days? The third day I should say we started to talk about other stuff than just sexual. He told me about his family a bit and we talked about the time we live in and how optimistic we are about the open-mindedness in like 20 years. 

Since then thinking about him gives my butterflies. Straight up. I love seeing him and I love that we communicate so frequently. From December past year untill March this year I had been talking to this guy who I connected with very well too, but he didn’t dare to take things to the next level. He thought I lived to far away (he lived on another continent, fair enough, but still) and he was extremely shy and didn’t want to get attachted to me (do those two go hand in hand or were they both seperate excuses? Still not sure). Anyway, I ended up flogging a dead horse but since I felt so connected to this guy I had a hard time letting him go. And then this special man came.

I really appreciate how he, other than the other guy, sends me voice memo’s all the time. He was the one who initiated the idea of videocalling. He is very open (to me) sexually and isn’t shy to show himself or say how he feels. He has told me personal stuff about his family, other than the other guy who didn’t want me to know things because it was private. 

My intends for the near future with him? Let me think. I want us to meet up. He could come to me and we could rent something and both work while we spend time together here on this continent. Then I want to go visit him on his continent. And then, not too long from now, I want to move in together and live in the US with him. 

I want us to live in a cozy house together. I want our bed to be our sanctuary where we come for cuddles, happy times, laughs and intimacy. I want us to be an amazing team of great lovers where we love each other unconditionally. Where we want to show each other off and everyone thinks of us as this sweet and warm couple. I am home with him and he is home with me. 

I want us to get married (doesn’t need to be big but I just want him to be my husband and I want to be his loving wife). I want us to have children and be really excited about that. I want us to be a supportive, warm and loving family and live happily ever after.
