The people hating on Jessica Drew in ATSV are just racists. Infinite universes means infinite realities. This Jessica is from a different universe than the comics and she’s based on the original Spider-Woman from the Electric Company. They try to argue “what if Miles was white”, like what?! Of course there’s a white Miles, the Miles of Earth-616 is a white man. The Reed Richards of Earth-65, Gwen’s universe, is a black kid. Earth-1104 has a teenage Octavia Otto who fights an evil Spider-Woman named Parker Peters. There’s a Spider-Horse, a Spider-Cat, a Spider-Tyrannosaurus, etc. if they actually gave a shit they would be outraged that Scarlet Witch in the mcu is a white-washed Christian & the actress causally uses slurs against Romani people.

Ain't gonna lie, did not know Earth 616 had a white Miles Morales until you mentioned it, but damn- we finally got an argument for these racists when they try to pull that card.

But we all know they don't really give a shit, given they also attacking Across Jessica for fighting while pregnant...ignoring that Peter B, the white man, is standing right there with a baby that shouldn't be there, but according to the racists, its okay for him to do that. And we know they never gonna give a shit about Wanda there, since Wanda Stans stay being racist to edits of Romani Actresses fancasted as Wanda as it is...

I don't really pay attention to actors tbh, so I don't have any specific actors in mind, and honestly, it would be difficult to choose someone bc I definitely think an actual upper limb amputee actor should play the role (doesn't matter which arm) instead of an able-bodied actor cosplaying as disabled, but ableism in the film industry is why there isn't exactly a large pool of famous actors who are also amputees to cast from - but they definitely exist and it's worth giving a lesser known actor a chance at a big role.

Anyway, in terms of general traits and vibes, I would say it should be an actor who exudes warmth and kindness in addition to intelligence and pathos, and since Billy seems to work best as young child, I'm going to say he should be passable as someone in their late-thirties to mid-forties, maybe late-forties at most; race and ethnicity don't matter, but I would probably avoid casting a Jewish actor if he's going to turn into the Lizard to avoid the antisemitism of a Jewish man turning into a literal lizard person, like how ATSV was careful to cast a non-Jewish voice actor for Earth-65!Peter while every other Peter is Jewish and played by a Jewish actor.
