Learning about wish craft, spreading the word to the people of Dormont, but did it end up making a difference?

what would an "atof good ending" be, to you?

Oooooooo okay. Okay. I've been procrastinating responding to my asks because Claude. I love her but she's so not fleshed out.

But this I don't need to focus on Claude for so I can do this. Please keep in mind that I am not the sole creator of this AU and so this is not the canon A Twist of Fate ending, it's just what I personally would like to see.

First and foremost, a good ending would involve the party staying together. Bonnie and Nille hopefully reaching a compromise - not Bonbon ceasing to be mad, but at least them letting Nille back in a little. I love characters refusing to make up but at least making an attempt to understand each other again. Taking that first step, even if everything isn't magically fixed.

Secondly, Odile is going to die. That's nonnegotiable, it's something set in stone, and honestly I think it's fitting. I'd like her death to maybe be drawn out a little more, in all honesty. We've established she does something similar to what King does where she remembers what she's lost (in this case, the family). I'd like her to have a moment where she remembers them all, as she had them, and potentially a moment where she apologizes to Head Housemaiden Siffrin and Roommate Isabeau in particular.

Third, that brings us to the Isafloop part of What I Personally Would Like To See. Obviously, I want Siffrin, Isabeau, and Loop to be reunited. Sif is vaguely aware of the loops as the Head Housemaiden and then - if Bonnie has a VS Friends fight (name of the Bigfrin fight according to the wiki) - they'd know more details, as would Loop. Depending on how we decide to handle it, Isa might know and he might not. I personally think Loop would fill him in a little, but @homopopsie handles our Loop and I believe he's open to asks if you'd like to know more. (It's also not confirmed that Isa doesn't know.) I think that Sif, Isa, and Loop would all have so many issues from the. Everything. (Reminder that Sif and Isa are possessed and Loop is our Housemaiden so everyone here's messed up.) There's definitely a post-canon oneshot or two in the works on my end of them all working through their shit so stay tuned for that in about. Uh. Three years./hyp

Fourth. Claude. Oh Change I do have to address Claude. As she's my responsibility and I did a segment on Bonnie I do have to pull my shit together.

I think Claude would probably come in clutch during our Bigfrin equivalent (regardless of if that's a fight or not). In our little gremlin discord server/aff we've been talking about how Bonnie and Claude are very, very close. Bonnie essentially adopts Claude as their big sister because of their baggage with Nille (ask @random-weird0 if you want to know more!) and I think I could twist that to have Claude be the one who forces Bonnie to listen. Bonus points if, because Nille's our researcher, she keeps Bonnie from looping and Claude has to step in and convince Bonnie to calm down and listen.

All in all, my timeline for a good ending looks like this: 1. Bonnie Bigfrin equivalent 2. Bonnie tries to loop 3. Nille refuses to let them 4. With Bonnie on the verge of a meltdown over Nille, Claude steps in 5. Claude convinces Bonnie to listen to everyone else 6. Act 6 (Echo/Euphrasie reveal, epilogue etc etc) 7. Post-canon Isafloop angst fest 8. Everyone claps/silly

I had a question, and as anyone who knows me will vouch when I tell you that is a very precarious situation.

It’s about your A Tale of Flourishing AU. Who actually created the film? Was it still Kametaro Tsuruyama? Because the drastic tonal shift between aToP and aToF speaks to a very different outlook on storytelling and life between their respective creators. If it is still her, is she still that pesky bird, is she something else? Does she see this divergence brought on by Luke as sullying her masterpiece, or is she excited to see what this self proclaimed artist can do in her sandbox?

Oh I am struck by possibility! :D

the answer is NO it was NOT in fact written by bird bitch.

Bird bitch is Infact swapped with Miss President! And instead of being a weird bird she’s instead a fox! (Fitting really)

The president, instead of wanting the whole world to end in despair, instead wanted the movie to become a favorite franchise, hence she put a lot of work into it! But any sequels of a tale of flourishing sorta flopped because it didn’t have Natsuko as the main protagonist. Nobody really saw the sequels because of that.

Mrs president did go out the same way though, and her feelings towards Luke relate to making him the new protagonist of her series, sacrificing natsuko regardless. So she still has that whole “it’s no use!” Mentality, but significantly more upbeat, much like her personality in the original.

And to answer your question Yes bird bitch does in fact replace Naomi as the head of the hero’s hall tavern. As a sorta cynical version.

And yes that does mean bird bitch is the president of Luke’s studio! She’s more of a tough love sorta person as apposed to the limitless optimism Naomi has.

I was holding out on starting any designs but I know exactly how I wanted her to look and how her arc is going to go soooo I made her design. If Cinder had gained her injury in the later arcs she probably would’ve just had her leg amputated but since they didn’t have the skills during tpb she had it pulled up and wrapped across her back with vines. Also made her a orange speckled bc I love that in designs.

(ID- Cinder is standing to the left with her face titled to the right, her left eye open and looking at the camera with a wide smile and wink. She has a gap tooth and is pretty sleek with spots of jagged fur especially on her legs, head tuft, and tail. She is blue gray with cream on her mane, belly, tail, and on the insides of her legs. White is on her belly and beside the cream. Darker blue is down her back, striped on her tail and legs, and on her paws with it on her eyebrows, ears, and under her eyes in heart like markings. Across her pelt are ginger and cream speckles like cinders. She has pale yellow scalars and deep blue eyes, her left ear is chipped and the fluff in her ears messy semi meant to resemble a fire. Her back leg is tucked in on itself, scars the same color as her ears and nose with vines tying it up to keep it against her side. She has a playful smile. End ID)

Cinder is bi and ace, female leaning though she never has a mate in her life.

In ATOF she doesn’t become a healer and works hard to recover and become a warrior despite the cats telling her she couldn’t ever. She successfully does and is a big role in driving out Tigerclaw because she deserves to get that guy. Amazed and proud of her success she is named Cinderspark for her always bright nature and perseverance.

As a character she is almost always looking at the bright side but knows what it’s like to be trapped in the dark so she is especially good at helping those in need emotionally. Besides that she’s incredibly hardworking, persistent, and fierce always making sure no one is being picked on or left behind. While she is a little clumsy when it comes to hunting birds because of their speed she’s a master at getting mice because of how light she’s able to step but where she most shines is in battle. Immediately because of her missing leg most scoff at her and just try to bat her aside but when she leaps over and pummels them to the ground it always lights the fire in her belly to win.

She dies the same way as in canon, saving the nursery and is given a honor title at her vigil. Cinderspark the Perseverant. On her grave are daffodils for respect and Sorreltail in deep gratitude names her strongest kitten after the molly.

I want to give her some tale because of how impactful she is despite having a life so short. I kinda like the idea of her being represented by some great animal like a resilient flower or animal.

Had an idea for ATOF that the blood will spill blood prophecy happens a lil different in that all the Tiger kids are there when it happens

Originally I just thought maybe Tawny and Moth showed up after Bramble kills Hawk but what if they all saw it happen? Hawk asks them all to come to the lake, and when they go there Firestar is trapped in the fox trap and Hawk is standing there. He explains how their leaders are the only ones standing in their way from ruling the clans. Once Firestar is out of the way all they needed was to get rid of Mistyfoot and Blackstar. They’d rule just as their father wanted. And they’d fix the clans. They could be leaders together but instead of enforcing the code make it so they could all be together, just as they should’ve been from the start instead of separated by borders and forced to be enemies.

While Brambleclaw is immediately ready to save his leader his sisters are less quick to jump to it. Mothwing looks forward and pleads to her brother that this wasn’t the way. They could bring change the right way without hurting anyone! While Tawnyfang isn’t as morally inclined. She would never want to be like her father and Firestar or Mistyfoot didn’t deserve to die but some cats, she thinks to Blackstar and Leopardstar, weren’t ever going to see the big picture. The three are arguing, Bramble telling Hawk this is wrong, Tawny in between, and Hawk yelling that this is the only way to stop the cycle.

Bramble leaps and wrestles Hawk away, and kills him. Moth is shocked and immediately runs to her brother, Tawny goes over to Firestar and snaps the line off his throat, and Bramble just stares down in horror at what he’s done.

For the ATOF au: It your character(s) could wish for anything via wish craft what would they wish for?

Great question, anon! Sorry for the late response, I had to ramble to the crowd for a bit to put my thoughts in order.

I guess the most major thing I'd like to point out first; Siffrin still does have communication issues. He's more affectionate, yes, and the fact that he even has declared partners is pretty impressive for a Siffrin without any looping involved! But... he's still fairly anxious and withdrawn. He's not exactly sure how to bring up sensitive or heavy topics, and really doesn't want to take the risk and mess that up.

So... Loop. The fucked up star in the room. What is their deal? Siffrin isn't stupid, he knows there's some sort of connection. It's in their accent, their quirks, the way they phrase things. The way they squint silently at whatever's confusing them as if that'll make it any clearer, the exact same way he does. And yet... it's frankly a ridiculous conclusion to jump to, assuming that someone is a version of you because they act a bit like you in a similar environment. Pile that on with how clingy they are, the way they lash out, the way certain things set them off and make it almost impossible to talk about anything important with them... there's something he can't quite understand.

But what kind of person can't understand their partner? That's what Siffrin wants. A chance to truly, fully understand Loop. I don't think much of anything would happen - they're both more alike than they think, after all! - but it would be what he wishes for.

Echos opinion on Isabeau, hm? I don’t really know what role Isabeau would be in Echos original au, so I’ll just say that Isa is the same!! (Unsure whether Claude would go with Euphie or not,,,,she probably would methinks :3)

Echo doesn’t know too much about Isabeau, only knowing that he is was Mirabelles roommate in her original au. She knew of him as a guy who wanted to change himself! She’s sure that Mira and him are were close friends, and that made her happy!! She supported him in his acts to change, and thinks of him as a good guy! Mirabelle does get annoyed at him sometimes, but she knows they both care for each other. She’s happy about that!!

In this au, however, she doesn’t know if he’s changed or not. She doesn’t know if he’s the same. She doesn’t know if he’s that same guy who wanted to change himself from being a shy kid to a reliable guy! Bonnie doesn’t talk about him, so she just. doesn’t know? He doesn’t seem to be associated with Bonnie, since they don’t talk about him much, but still.

She honestly wishes she could know hopes that one day, she could find out if he’s alright, if he’s changed, if he’s done what he wants. She hopes that even if he hasn’t changed yet in this au, he can become someone that he loves.

After his long time of being literally puppetted around by a madwoman, forced to be someone she barely even remembers, Isabeau...

He's resentful, to say the least.

He's never been one for outright hatred - he can dislike people but something about saying he hates them? Doesn't sit right with him. - but whatever he's feeling towards her is as close as he gets.

He's more attached to his glasses than ever. She forces - forced, past tense, it's over now - him to not wear them, so now that he can pick who and what he is again, he wears them even when there's a valid reason for him to not. Once he cried because he had to wear his contacts.

The glasses thing isn't the biggest thing though. That's not what you're here for, anon. You don't want to hear about his hang-ups over his glasses or the clothes he wears or anything like that.

Isabeau is smart.

He's always been smart. In this world, he's always been allowed to let himself be whatever he likes. He's studied things for years and years, hyperfocused on things he likes and discarding anything he doesn't - which isn't much honestly.

But that's not who she remembers, is it?

So when the Empress comes, he forgets things. He forgets his favorite bird facts. He can see what she sees while she's possessing him, he can know things that he has no way to know.

Someone asks him about the bank swallow and his head goes blank. Someone asks him about time craft and he's able to tell them about how it's possible, getting all the way to temporal manipulation - time loops especially - before his head catches up to him and he realizes that- that those memories aren't his.

Why does he occasionally remember that traveler's favorite foods? The favorite book of that kid once she grows up? And why does he know how to deal with panic attacks, feeling the vague knowledge that he knows this because of his own partner, the same yet different?

I could probably keep going but I think that's good for now, don't you? Come again soon because I am so ready for angst, always.

She'd wish to go back, to undo the previous wish she made. The one that took her family away from her, the one that made her unrecognisable. She just wants to go back, why won't the change god or the universe listen?

Uhh she'd probably wish that Bonnie breaks the timeloops and gets out safely. Nothing else!! Nope!!
