Three months

It's been three months since you’ve heard from him, since he showed up at your front door telling you that it was over, like it was nothing; absolutely nothing. He changed. Like it's so hard to find fics about the 90s young justice that doesn't center around Tim. He'll it's hard to find fics about any of the characters in young justice that don't involve tim.

Like yeah tim is cool I know it can be fun writing him and all his angst but like maybe I wanna red about just kons daddy issues, or the fact that most romantic relationships he's had have been with adult women and explore how he matures and finds out that "Hey that was kinda fucked up, those were adult women and I was fresh out the tube they like totallytook advantage of me. " but atleast he has a few fics focused on him, like most of them are tim kon fics but he's like the second most popular character in the 90s young justice fandom.

or bart "dont tell wally" allen and the fact that he has felt death, got his knee blown out by deathstroke and deals with constant self esteem issues because he worrys that he's not good enough to take up the flash mantle. He'll half the fics that he's tagged in are 1)young justice cartoon fics, which fair who doesn't like a future apocalypse refugee? But I'm not looking for that guy I want 90s comic bart. 2)he's a side character in a Timkon fic or barely mentioned. That's it.

Cassie. I have found one, count this, ONE cassie fic were she wasn't a background character for a Timkon fic or just a tim fic. And she has angst potential too, her boyfriend died in her fucking arms? She got so depressed she joined a cult to cope 😭 he'll you could write her as feeling pressured to be okay for tim, bart and kon because of how much they've gone through when in compared to her.

I am proposing Tim drake black out week were everyone writes fics about som other young justice characters that arnt him. "Y/n~" Jinpei appears from behind the poster grinning cheerfully yet you can sense blatant mischief in his expression. "Oh I don't know" he walks back, his face facing you dramatically "two tickets to see the new movie that came out a few days ago" you flash back to Yukari raving about how much she wanted to see it, your face gets deathly serious. "Where's the theater?" "THATS THE SPIRIT"

Yukari, while she was grateful they could help did get a bit worried when you didn't come back until sunset with Jinpei and your emo tag along. "We're alive!" Jinpei bursts open the door with you two following behind. "Where the heck did you guys go to stay out so late" Yukari pounts seeing her you nearly fall into her arms. "I missed you" you look up at her with unfocused eyes, holding her to stay steady. Glaring at the both of them, she helps you to the couch near the entrance. "Yukari" you hand her the tickets with unstable hands. "I got the tickets to a movie you wanted to see" you smile brightly contrasting how beat up you sound. "The line was huge" Jinpei interupts "I think we almost drowned" "for a few tickets?" "There was a sale" you mumble out. She wraps her hand around your arm pulling you closer to her, using this as their cue the room emptines to just the two of you.

"Where ya going" as she gets up she turns to you "I have something for you" as if she woke you up with those words you sit patiently watching her come back with a plate. "You made chocolates?" A bit stunned she looked away "I guess the smell gave it away" she lays it next to you and her "They're all for you" "no" "huh?" "Lets share them, it would be unfair if you didn't get to atleast try them ya know" a bit more flustered she takes a bite with you. Biting into them you stretch yours out slowly the caramel stretching out. "You know me so well" you remark after finishing the first one. "Yum.." You muttered that under your breath but she still heard it. "I got you to say yum" she smiles proudly. "Really?" You look down again picking it up "they are really good guess it slipped out"

I've been holding off on an update because I wasn't sure if the rough patch was going to get worse, wait until I actually landed the job I'm at now, and so much more. We are somewhat stable now, still not great but good enough to get by. As per my mom's wishes, I will not be discussing anything regarding what my dad left when he passed as it is extremely personal and my mom wishes to keep it private and I will respect that.

We only really had my grandma helping us financially (aside from the occasional card from close friends of my parents and coworkers etc),but we didn't want to rely solely on her. That's why I was anxious and immediately jumped to doing commissions if I was able to set them up before the job opportunity, but thankfully it came a tad early and I didn't have to open commissions up right away. My worry lied in whether or not the house would be paid off in time for each end of the month, especially since my mom carries all the insurance on my dad and I it kind of sucks all the life from her bank and I was unemployed. (We did manage to get it paid off since that's what my dad would want, it was officially paid on on my birthday, June 3rd.) If anything happens though I will open emergency commissions, but right now if I ever get the chance I'll just do commissions here and there when I get back into art and the swing of things.

I will also be less active or not as frequently active due to my job but also the fact that my mom and I are still very much in shock and going through the grieving process all over again since my childhood dog had passed years prior. I will also keep the original post up for now in case I do open comms and anyone wants to see what I'd start out with and if anyone was particularly interested. I know I haven't posted any recent art either, I've also been in a massive burnout that's been going strong for a little over 3 years unfortunately. I'm slowly trying to learn to love doing art again.

Hey! I hate to ask for handouts and don't mean to come across as such, as that's not what this is for necessarily. I've been meaning to work on commissions, as in actually setting it up and working on the info itself and with the unexpected passing of my father on Jan 30th, I'm going to try to do just that when I have time or if it comes down to it, if we're stable before or as I'm getting a job it'll be different, there's a hiring freeze at the place I'm trying to get into so the guy will get back to me whenever he can. Right now I'm spending time with family during this time as my mom and I figure stuff out during our free time. My dad was the one who covered the mortgage payments so I just want to help my mom pay for it so we have a roof over our heads, I don't have a job yet and am waiting for a slot where my parents worked and my mom is taking time off and using vacation/sick time to be paid before she has to go back. Issue is, her last paycheck is coming up. We're also trying to figure out stuff with a grief counselor, but I digress. It's only my mom, me and two cats now. The mortgage is a little over $700 a month and I don't want her to do everything by herself and be alone. So, if I open commissions and I'm still drained as it's been hard for me to even pick up a pencil I will start off with small things (like sketch comms, MLP comms, etc) just to get things started. I still have to figure out if I want to open a shop of my own or mess with sites like redbubble, I'm still figuring out Kofi for tips and payments there. I will update with the full information soon once everything is settled if I can. I'm just tired and mentally exhausted, possibly still going through shock, so I haven't felt the energy to keep up conversations so if you think I'm ignoring you, I'm not! I apologize if it's ever come off as such, things have been hectic. Anyways, I wish you all the best and hope all is well!

hiii aisha!! this is a kind of personal inquiry i hope this is okay but i love all of your works so much that i really wanna start writing too. i was wondering if theres a special program you use to write or if you just open a word doc and type away, im also curious about your general approach to writing if its not too much hehe ilysm i hope you have a great day <3

hey!! ofcourse this is okay, i love when people pop into my askbox for just about anything really 😭 and thank you so very much for liking my writing 🥹 it really means the world to me!! and i’m thrilled you wanna have a go at writing 😭🫶🏻

as for having a special program, i really don’t have one at all 🧎🏻‍♀️believe it or not, but sometimes the parts of particular pieces i’m writing are scattered in different places. like i’d start maybe on the notes app on my phone, then some would end up on google docs, some would end up on a word doc on my laptop and sometimes i’ve even got things written down in, not one, but several journals 😭 it really is a big fat mess and i probably need to start working on being more organized in that regard (maybe it would even help some of those drafts accumulating get published 💀).

i’m not very sure what exactly you mean by my “approach to writing” so forgive me if i don’t give you the answer you’re looking for ☹️ but, provided you mean my process, it varies. sometimes i’ll get an idea and just immediately start writing and see where it takes me. other times, especially with longer fics and smaus, i like to have some planning down first. like more or less the plot/storyline, the characters, etc. i don’t like to plan too much, because i find mostly i’m harder on myself when i do, but i plan enough so that i don’t stray too far from the characters and what the plot actually is. i also try not to compare myself with other writers, or to think too much about whether or not what i’m writing will gain alot of traction and blow people’s minds. i get way too caught up in my head if i do that, and the potential of whatever i was writing gets lost because i’m no longer thinking about it, i’m thinking about how i can be the next Emily Henry 😔😭.

in the end, everyone really has their own manner of and approach to writing. and i really hope you find yours 🥹💓 when you write your first pieces, you should definitely tag me or send me the link!

⭐ Maison Ikkoku ⭐

It is the finest romance anime ever made, in terms of story structure, character development and emotional depth. If you look over this because it's of older animation then you really don't know what an incredible experience you've missed out on. Yes at 96 episodes it is long for the genre. However the story spans several years and this allows for real character and relationship progression. It is one of the funniest and most charming anime I've ever seen. It managed to turn a big time action and science fiction fan like me into a believer that there is great romance series out there. This remains the finest example of a believable romance story in anime. Do not miss it.

P.S. This anime continually gets better as it progresses, the final 15 episodes of this anime are greater than any other romantic/comedy ever made. It delivers the most spectacular ending that you could possibly want in a rom/com. See this one out, enjoy the ride and I guarantee this will become a firm favourite of yours.
