on holding space ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ fependency can develop when the world is constantly wearing you down, whether you didn’t have the support you needed and deserved as a child, not all people have the same access to support.⁣ ⁣ It’s natural to seek comfort, we are not put here to do it alone. But when that support isn’t accessible to you, you seek options, maybe it’s food, maybe it’s in a relationship but you know its not a good one, maybe even start numbing out because the pain is too much to bare. ⁣ ⁣ there are many option to numb out, from tv-shows, to shopping, to consuming podcasts and other media just to forget for a second. Or alcohol or drugs. ⁣ ⁣ it’s becomes just too much, you find yourself in shame and pain. Khaki is my new black ⁣💯 ⁣ ⁣ a couple of years ago i started to pay more attention to how my mood was responding to certain colours. although some of the previous adjustments had been somewhat unconscious on my behalf, I began to understand that black wasn’t doing it for me anymore.⁣ ⁣ fun fact: i haven’t worn black shoes in years. the reason why is that it feel’s like someone is standing on my lounges when wearing black shoes. ‘Delaam migireh’ as we say in Farsi.
