accidentally getting a little too into my pedagogy class and starting to wonder if I should pivot and go into education (academic field)
#from the writer's den#void talks#not me seeing a paper on co-constructed rubrics as a potentially more positive route for writing assignments and pogging a little..........#I'd be embarrassed but it was actually a really interesting read#and at multiple points while reading I was like wow I would love to try this in class as part of Contributing To The Science#like deadass...#specifically for creative writing I would be interested in merging it a bit with the stuff in the anti-racist writing workshop (book title)#about collaboratively defining craft terms with students as a means of community building#like that'd be interesting to look at! rubrics shmubrics frankly I don't think they have a place in creative writing but like#if we expand it to thinking generally about assessment--which is inevitable in any credit-giving class--I think it applies#ESPECIALLY !!! since one of the things that the authors talk about is how rubrics in general are a useful way of standardizing grading#and guess what !! non-standardized grading is also a big issue when it comes to equalizing across race class etc#so like genuinely I think there's something there#and I would love to do a little study on it#frankly I might just do so since I'll be teaching next year and have basically free book on course design#at very least will be keeping this in mind for later in the semester when we'll be talking about assessment#but anyway. marge meme (holds up the field of education studies) I just think it's neat#and I have so much respect for it

PURE ATTRACTION | JJK | TATTOO ARTIST
Pairing: TattooArtistJungkook X NaiveReader
Summary: "I shouldn't be watching a man undressing, especially not from the house next door."
Warning: Intolerance, toxic religion, parental relationship, Jungkook taking off his clothes đźâđšđ€Č very dumb reader.
A/N: This is my first fanfic on Tumblr and my first BTS one. I know, it's embarrassing. The story isn't that great, and it probably shouldn't be the first one I post here, but the characters took on a life of their own without my consent, and I've been writing this since 2022 (fuck), so here we are. Please keep in mind that English is not my first language and that the reader is extremely annoying. See you on the next chapter! Thank You.
Next Chapter
Chapter 1
I organize the things from the bazaar as I go through the accessories spread out on the table. It's a calm easy task and I've done it more than a thousand times, so even with my eyes closed the job is done masterfully. My mother is next to me, quietly, listening to music on an old radio that she refuses to throw away. It seems that, since it's a radio she got as a teenager, the object has a deep meaning for her and she doesn't even like the thought of exchanging it for something more modern. I hum along too, trying to tune my voice in some parts where the music gets harder and the notes get higher.
Usually on the weekends, every Sunday, my mother and I go to church and the bazaar after the service, to raise money and help the pastor's project. Pastor Leen is a good man and always helps everyone in need, so this semester, during these last months of the year, he has been focusing on the animals that live on the streets. Everyone in the community who goes to church participates and helps in whatever way they can, whether through donations or fundraising, like my mother and I do. Thatâs why we gathered some clothes and items for the church bazaar, and with the sales, we can do our part. It's exhausting, but rewarding in the end.
During the week, I study at the university in my town and work at the library, so there's not much time for rest, but I like having a busy life. Although I know that, for some people, my idea of a busy life might not seem busy at all. At twenty-one, Iâm supposedly supposed to be somewhere else in the world, enjoying my youth and partying with my friends, but strangely, I never wanted that. Whether itâs because of my mother, who always instructed me not to follow that path, or because Iâm just introverted, Iâve never gone to parties or had adventures that I could look back on later. The most out-of-the-ordinary thing I've ever done was drink beer when I was eighteen and regret it the next day, feeling guilty for being influenced by a friend.
Iâve never left this town. Iâve never dated. Iâve never been to a party. I havenât done many memorable things in life. Sometimes I wonder if Iâll regret not having these experiences someday, but Iâm so tied to the way I live my life that itâs hard to change, even just a little. Habits are hard to break, whether for better or worse. Iâm pulled from my thoughts when the store door opens and Mrs. Jeon walks in with a smile on her face and two heavy bags in her hands. I quickly get up intending to help her, but my mother is faster.
âGood morning, Eunji,â Mrs. Jeon greets my mother, letting out a relieved sigh as the weight of one of the bags is lifted from her hands. âGood morning, Y/N, how are you?â
âIâm fine, Mrs. Jeon. How has your week been?â I ask, taking the other bag from her. I peek inside and notice that itâs full of menâs clothes, judging by the size and the predominantly dark colors.
âRadiant, actually. My son arrived in town last night,â she says, her smile widening. Iâm surprised because I didnât know she had a son. Mrs. Jeon moved to town six years ago, and I donât recall any son visiting her or her mentioning him. This is the first time sheâs spoken about it, at least in front of me.
âYour son, Jungkook?â my mother asks, curious, and our neighbor nods, still beaming. âDoesnât he live in Seoul?â
âYes, he does. But heâs been expanding his business, and I invited him to visit, and coincidentally, he decided to open a branch here,â she explains, tucking a strand of dark hair behind her ear. My mother instantly flashes a smile. An interested smile that I know all too well.
Of course, because Iâve never dated, my mother is always trying to set me up with someone. Not that I want her to. I never asked her to make all this effort, much less to convince the church ladies to introduce their sons just because Iâm single. Itâs embarrassing, as if Iâm not capable of finding someone on my own without my motherâs help, but she doesnât listen, even when I had an honest conversation with her asking her to stop trying to play Cupid.
"What kind of business?" my mother asks, and I try not to roll my eyes. For a woman of God, she worries way too much about money and status. It's a controversial topic that has led to arguments between us in the past.
"He's a tattoo artist. He owns a tattoo studio in Seoul," Mrs. Jeon explains with a proud smile, and my mother's face immediately turns serious. The charm of a potential son-in-law is lost. Of course, no one is ever perfect enough for herâor for me, in her eyes.
I love my mother. Sheâs strong, and many times I look up to her when making important decisions, but she judges people too harshly. Ever since she joined the church when I was younger, sheâs changed. She changed her clothes, the way she speaks, and even her thoughts. I canât even remember what she was like before, and even though all these changes were a support for her after my father passed away, some aspects of the situation still bothers me. The fact that she believes people are going to hell just for having different opinions and ideas is one of them. Of course, I donât argue with her about it and rarely express my point of view. If she knew how I really thought, Iâd be a princess locked in her room, with no peace and even less freedom than I already have at home.
"He's a tattoo artist?" my neighbor nods, not noticing the bitter tone in my mother's voice. I decide to step in, anticipating some sharp comment from the woman beside me.
"Mrs. Jeon, thank you so much for the clothes and for your help. Just today we had three customers, and the clothes you donated sold very quickly," I interject, changing the subject. The tension in my shoulders eases as my neighbor shifts her focus to the bag in my hands.
"Oh, no need to thank me. I want to do as much as I can to help the animals. I adopted a puppy last week and Iâm in love!" she says, placing her hands on her cheeks with joy, and I canât help but smile. Mrs. Jeon is one of the few older people from the church that I enjoy talking to.
"Whatâs his name?"
"Gureum. Heâs an angel," she says, forming the small size of the puppy with her hands.
"Gureum? Donât tell me heâs all white," I guess, laughing at the name.
"He is!" she laughs with me, jingling the keys in her hand. "Anyway, I hope we get plenty of donations this month. I can't wait to see the results of our work."
"Thatâs true, Misuk. This month the winter will be harsher, so we have to act more quickly this year," my mother continues, and the conversation shifts to the church project. I feel more relieved as the minutes pass and Mrs. Jeon leaves. Not because of her, of course, but because of the situation itself. My mother is very straightforward and usually says what she thinks, no matter who it hurts. I donât want my relationship with our neighbor to be ruined just because my mother doesnât know how to hold her tongue.
"Did you hear what she said?" Eunji asks, her eyes wide, one hand on her chest as if sheâs deeply shocked. "Her son is a tattoo artist! Do you think he has those awful marks all over his body?"
"Probably, Mom," I sigh, trying to focus on the clothes Mrs. Jeon just brought. "And Mom, donât talk like that. Sheâs our neighbor."
"Even so! Y/N, that only happens when parents donât know how to properly guide their children. How can a mother, who goes to church, let her son go down such a horrible path in life?"
"We donât know how her son lives, and itâs none of our business, Mom!" I try to keep calm as I fold a large black T-shirt, but then I remember that before organizing the items, we have to wash them, and I couldnât be happier about that.
Usually, the clothes are washed at our house, and my mother still has to stay at the bazaar for a while longer. Honestly, I donât want to be around her listening to how good of a mother she was just because I go to church and donât have a tattoo on my arm. It irritates me, and itâs hard not to let her notice, but for the sake of peace, I try my best, nodding and agreeing with all the nonsense she says.
"Mom, Iâm going to take all these things home and get everything ready for the bazaar, okay?" I try to force a smile, but my face feels stiff. My head is throbbing, and I canât wait to get home. Iâve been out of my room all day, and thereâs nothing more exhausting than that, at least for me. She murmurs in agreement, probably annoyed that she can't keep talking badly about Mrs. Jeonâs son, but I donât care and just leave.
I regret it a little halfway home because the bags are heavy, and even though the distance isnât long, itâs hard to carry all the clothes by myself. I arrive home out of breath. The sky is overcast, with dark gray clouds covering it, but Iâm sweating as if I just ran a marathon. I laugh a bit at my lack of fitness, promising myself that Iâll start the morning walks I keep putting off, and I head to the laundry room to start organizing the clothes.
When I open the bag, Iâm surprised by the items. Not only are they of good quality, but Iâm also certain they donât belong to Mr. Jeon. He dresses well, but not in this style. I can hardly imagine him wearing black jeans or a heavy jacket. Iâm intrigued by who the owner might be, but I donât waste time pondering it, too tired to unravel mysteries that arenât even important. I leave the laundry room once everything is organized and head to my room, throwing myself onto the bed.
My room isnât particularly special or different, but what I love the most about it is the bookshelf filled with books covering almost the entire wall. It was my dream from a young age to get a job and buy every book I was interested in, and luckily, thatâs been possible since I started working at the library. Itâs the perfect job for me, even if itâs temporary. Iâm studying literature to become a teacher, and I canât wait to start working in my dream job.
I sigh and pull my phone out of my dress pocket, too lazy to take off my clothes and go shower. I groan, placing my hands over my face, knowing thereâs no escaping it after being out of the house all day. Thereâs no way Iâm going to bed like this. Reluctantly, I get up and untie my hair, which falls in waves, heavy against my neck.
I bend down to grab the hem of my dress and start pulling it up, feeling even more tired. Today was such a long day. I canât wait to go to bed and sleep until tomorrow. I take off my socks, lifting one foot behind the other, and as I head to the towel inside the wardrobe next to the bed, I unhook the bra thatâs been bothering me all day. The relief is so immense that I let out a sigh, touching my breasts with my fingers and playing with my nipple, hardened by the cold air.
On my way to the bathroom, I stop and look at the window when I notice that the neighborâs windowâthe one that had never been opened until nowâis, in fact, wide open. I need a few seconds to realize that thereâs someone on Mrs. Jeonâs balcony, and worse, itâs not her on the other side. Itâs a man. The most handsome man Iâve ever seen in my life.
I hide behind the bookshelf in my room, afraid that he might think Iâm spying on him, but for some reason, I keep watching him with curiosity, hypnotized by the way he moves around the room and among the furniture. His dark, wavy hair falls over his face when, out of nowhere, he starts pulling his shirt over his back, taking it off lazily while focusing on the phone in his hands. He gives a small smile, almost as if he subconsciously knows the effect heâs having on me. My heart beats hard against my chest, and my breathing quickens; my mind fills with fantasy images of his pink lips and large, seemingly soft hands.
He is... gorgeous. Different. With tattoos all over his body. One of his arms is completely covered in designs, and his chest is adorned with images that I canât quite make out. My mouth waters as my eyes roam over his strong back and shoulders. His pale skin glows under the dim light of the yellow lamp, and itâs hard to catch my breath. Itâs like observing a work of art. A forbidden work of art, I know. Itâs wrong. But I canât convince my mind that I should stop. The man, still a stranger, smiles at his phone as the screen lights up his face. Unlike his body, which exudes sensuality and is intimidating, his smile is sweet and gentle, and the most charming Iâve ever seen. He tosses the phone onto the bed, unbuckling the leather belt around his waist and deftly undoing the buttons of his jeans. Thatâs when the trance that literally had me delirious breaks. I slam the window shut, desperate at my own madness.
What was I doing? How could I have seen a stranger stripping like a complete pervert? I feel so bad, guilty for having crossed the line and done something as wrong as this. I gulp, covering my face with my hands. I let out a tortured sigh and feel my heart racing uncontrollably. I am sweating, as if I had done a heavy workout, when in fact, I had been standing still the entire time. I peek through the gaps in my window to see the room in Mr. Jeon's house, but I can't see anything anymore and I don't have the courage to open the curtains and try to look at the man again.
It's the first time in many years that I have felt something like this. Could it be desire? I can't remember the last time I felt anything like this. I recall having a small and first crush on a boy at school, something innocent, when I didn't even know what it meant to like someone romantically or as a friend. This was, throughout my life, the only consistent experience in recent years. It scares me that suddenly I feel something different for someone, even if it's minimal. I let out a sigh and cover my face, embarrassed by my own behavior. To make things worse, I'm not even wearing clothes. I rush to the bathroom and close the door, staring at myself in the mirror. I am so dazed that even my cheeks are dark red. I close my eyes tightly and head to the shower, trying to let the water wash away my thoughts. It doesn't work. I spend the whole night gazing at my bedroom window, full of images that I can't forget or erase.
I have a normal day after the almost exhausting night. I study in the morning about different approaches with children on the autism spectrum, which I find completely interesting and complex, and then I work in the afternoon at the college library on campus. This is actually great because I can study even during my work hours with free access to all available books, which has saved my life in recent months. The first semester of classes was tough, but this second one has been terrible, with piled-up assignments and deadlines that are almost impossible to meet, at best. My life has revolved around this routine, and the ordeal of exams hasn't even started. On my way home, I stop at a convenience store to buy something to eat and bike towards my house, which, honestly, isnât very far but is extremely tiring.
I get home exhausted, collapsing on the sofa almost immediately. My mother appears from the kitchen with a serious face and a tense expression, as if something very grave had happened.
"You won't believe who invited us to dinner." she comments, placing one hand on her hip.
"Who?" I ask, just out of courtesy. Besides not being hungry, I'm not interested in the subject, too stressed with college stuff to pay attention to my mother.
"Misuk."
"And what's the problem, Mom?" I roll my eyes. Until yesterday, my mother had no problem with our neighbor, and now she acts like the woman is forbidden or not good enough to be her friend.
"Did you forget, YN?" she asks, crossing her arms. "Her son, the one from Seoul, will be at the dinner."
I turn pale, my mouth dry. How could I have forgotten this? College has consumed all my thoughts during the day, but I would never forget that man. The man I saw through the window is Mrs. Jeon's son, I suppose. I concluded this after spending the whole night mulling over my thoughts and reliving that body and face, which I canât even recall without blushing. Iâve already eaten at college and feel satisfied, but the first thing I do when my mother mentions the dinner is smile.
"Iâll go with you." I affirm, unsure. If my heart raced so much from a distance of Mr. Jeon's son, I can't imagine what will happen if I see him up close. But I'm so curious that I can't avoid it. I want to see him. I want to prove that everything I felt last night wasnât just a product of my imagination tainted by romance novels.
"The truth is, I wanted to cancel the dinner."
"You didn't cancel, did you?" I ask, trying not to sound too desperate. My mother shakes her head, which makes me sigh with relief.
"No, but I'm curious about the guy. I want to see what he's like and make a better judgment about him. I just ask that you donât get involved with that kind of person. Heâs a tattoo artist and lives alone, so young. Who knows what he does alone in a city like Seoul." she says, and I agree with a noise in my throat.
Iâm also curious about him, Mom, but not for the same reason as you. I stay silent as I go upstairs to my room. I look for some slightly nicer clothes without much expectation but I donât have anything different from conservative or old. I feel sad for no reason and convince myself that it doesnât matter what I choose to wear; a man like the one I saw last night will never be interested in me, no matter what I put on. I quickly shower, then, after my mom calls me from downstairs, I look at myself in the mirror, staring at the dark blue dress that goes down to just below my knees. I roll my eyes and simply go, with little enthusiasm.
My mom has a bowl with a freshly baked cake, and after saying it's for the neighbors, we head out. Itâs the house next door, but the short walk feels like an eternity to me. My heart races as we approach, and I let my mom lead the way, walking ahead. She knocks on the door with three taps, and we donât wait long before Mr. Jeon appears. Heâs a man in his fifties, but very handsome and friendly, wearing a long-sleeve shirt and comfortable house slippers. He smiles at both of us, still holding the doorknob and giving us space to enter.
"Good evening, Eunji, good evening, Y/N." he greets us. I nod, a little embarrassed. Unlike Mrs. Jeon, I donât see him often, as he is very busy with work and doesnât attend church regularly.
"Good evening, Yejun."
"Good evening, Mr. Jeon. Thank you for having us." I smile, genuinely grateful. I truly like the couple, as every time I see them, they always treat me very well.
"What a polite girl, isnât she?" he says to my mother in a joking tone, then looks at me kindly. "You donât need to thank us. We love having you two here. Please come in and make yourselves comfortable."
"I brought a cake for after dinner." my mom says with a smile. "Where is Misuk? I want to give it to her."
"Sheâs in the kitchen, finishing organizing things. Shall we go there?"
I follow them in silence, having little to do. My mom is more accustomed to the environment, as she comes here a few times for church meetings. I take a few steps toward the kitchen when a noise on the stairs catches my attention. Then he appears, and like magic, everything I felt before resurges, ten thousand times worse. I catch my breath as I see him slowly descending the stairs. He is much taller than me and different from what I imagined, now up close.
His eyes are dark, bright and large, which strangely complements his sharp jawline. His lips are a beautiful pink that makes me run my tongue over my mouth, enchanted by their apparent softness. Pink is now my favorite color. He exudes a powerful aura with his heavy clothes and his body built like a big mountain towering over me, but when he smiles, I am captivated. His smile is sweet, friendly, and inviting, making me want to get closer. However, the thing that catches my attention the most is the eyebrow piercing. My God. What a man.
"Hello, how are you?" he says with a boyish smile, and I blush instantly. I try to maintain a mantra in my mind, repeating several times: calm down, calm down, calm down! "My name is Jungkook, are you my motherâs neighbor?"
"Y-yes." I stammer and almost instinctively close my eyes, frustrated with myself. He smiles even more, squinting his dark eyes as if he finds me amusing.
"Nice to meet you. Whatâs your name?" he asks with a soft voice, and I feel embarrassed for not having said my name earlier.
"My name is Y/N. Nice to meet you." This time I donât stammer, but I speak so quietly that I fear he might not have heard me.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N. My mom talks a lot about you." he says, confirming that yes, he did hear me.
I open my mouth to try to say something, but suddenly my mother appears. I donât know whether to feel relieved or disappointed. I wanted more chances to talk and discover new things about him, but all I was managing to do was look like an idiot who hasnât left the house in years, completely antisocial. My shoulders slump, and I follow my mother to the dining room in silence, feeling embarrassed. I can almost feel Jungkookâs presence behind me, but I donât have the courage to turn around and glimpse his expression. I almost automatically remember him taking off his clothes, showing the tattoos that are now hidden, and I flush even more, almost choking on my own saliva.
"Good evening, Y/N!" Mrs. Jeon smiles at me, already seated at the table. I feel guilty for almost drooling over her son earlier but I smile, greeting her in the same way.
"Good evening, Mrs. Jeon. The smell of the food is delicious, as always." I say, seeing the vegetables on the table and the meat next to it that looks divine. If I hadnât eaten earlier, Iâd be attacking the food, with respect, of course.
"Always so sweet, Y/N." she smiles. "Please, have a seat. Jungkook, sit next to her." she requests. I try to not choke again, just nodding, watching the man I am incredibly attracted to sit to my right side.
His parents and my mom engage in a lively conversation, and I try to pay attention in case they ask me something, but the truth is, I canât follow along at all. Jungkook eats in silence and occasionally answers my motherâs questions, which Iâm sure are meant to gather more material for judgment when we get home, but I canât follow any of the reasoning. Besides being handsome, polite and kind, he also smells good.
With the clothes he wears and the tattoos decorating his body, I would swear his perfume would be woody and strong, but itâs quite the opposite. His scent reminds me of spring, or nature like a field full of flowers. Itâs a scent I could absorb all day. Lost in thought while I play with the fork on my plate and the cabbage kimchi I served myself, I donât notice him coming closer to me and my ear. My whole body shivers with his breath. I try to not make it too obvious, but I think itâs in vain since I hear his soft laugh even closer to my neck.
"Do you want to go to the kitchen, Y/N?" Jungkook asks in a whisper so close that I look around just to make sure no one is watching, especially my mother, who seems to have already formed a prejudiced opinion about him.
"Why?" I ask in a whisper, confused.
"I want to ask you something." he smiles crookedly, which makes me even more disturbed. I nod, still unsure about what Iâm agreeing to. He quickly stands up, and I almost instantly follow him. When we get to the kitchen, he turns around quickly, watching me attentively, crossing his arms over his chest.
"W-what do you want to ask me?" I swallow nervously.
"I was thinking whether I should talk to you about this, but after meeting you tonight, I think itâs for the best, anyway." he says with a serious face. His previously relaxed attitude changes completely, as if all the fun from earlier had drained away.
I become worried, my mind filled with questions, until something occurs to me. What if last night, somehow, he realized I was watching him? My body turns to jelly at the thought, and my heart beats faster as I look at his face. I would die, seriously. I would fall to the ground and never wake up again. My hands tremble as I wait for his question.
"Are you and my mother very close?" he asks in a whisper, this time with a weak voice, looking at his own intertwined hands. I nod in agreement, even more confused. Since Mrs. Jeon moved to my city, weâve become something like friends, despite the significant age difference. I consider her, even if mistakenly, like a mother.
"Yes. I think we have a close relationship. Why the question?" he shifts uncomfortably. He tries to smile but canât. I am worried but silent, waiting for his answer.
"My mother is sick, Y/N." he says quietly, with a weak voice. My eyes widen at the news. I never imagined this is what he wanted to talk to me about. From his seriousness, it seems to be something very grave. "Thatâs why I came to the city. She had depression years ago and last month she tried to take her own life for some reason."
"She didnât tell anyone, Iâm sure." I say as much as I can, still shaken and shocked. Mrs. Jeon seems so happy lately that I could never imagine something like this. My eyes fill with tears, but I try to contain the flood of emotions inside me, embarrassed to act this way with a previously unknown person.
"I know. I was shocked when I found out." he explains, running his fingers through his dark hair as if he were tired. "She wants to spare people from the situation, but I wish everyone could know and support her. She shouldnât be thinking about anyoneâs well-being right now, except her own. Thatâs why I came to Busan, to take care of her."
"I understand." I whisper with a lump in my throat. I want to take his trembling hands and assure him that everything will be okay, but I donât have that much courage. I wish I were casual and authentic and had the ease to simply say what Iâm thinking. Itâs the first time that not being this way makes me upset and sad. I wish I could be someone else right now. I wish I could help more.
"I apologize for bringing this up so suddenly. I hope I havenât ruined your evening. Iâm sorry." he smiles awkwardly, puffing his cheeks, and a previously hidden dimple appears. His face turns red and I canât help but like him even more.
"Donât worry. Really. Thank you for telling me the truth. I want to help in any way I can. I'll try to keep her company more often."
"Thank you so much, Y/N." he smiles, with his eyes shining. "I knew it was a good idea to tell you the truth. I knew I could count on you."

campus library, 7:00 a.m. â sam winchester
cw : gn!reader, fluff, stanford!era, unedited, 658 words. requested ! for my 800 followers event [ closed ] .
summary : a nervous first year (sam) asks the cute libary worker (you) for help printing and accidentally develops a crush on the first day of classes.
MOVED BLOGS TO @sammyluvr !! no longer active on this blog! all fics can be found there!
itâs a good thing for the library patrons that youâre in a particularly pleasant mood, which is a rare occurrence at seven a.m., especially on the first day of a new semester. the poor first years are stressed. youâre leisurely as you walk behind the circulation desk, setting your bag down by the chair and settling there with your laptop. it only takes about a second for someone to approach, holding his own laptop in nervous hands.
he does a pretty good jop of hiding that heâs nervous, but itâs clear to you that he feels out of place and maybe even a little lost.
âhi,â you greet him with a smile, inviting him closer and encouraging him to ask for whatever help he needs when he hesitates.
âhi.â he gives a tight lipped smile back, relaxing just a touch. âcould you maybe help me with printing something, orâŠ?â heâs clearly unsure if youâre the right person to ask. thatâs a classic question, and one that further confirms your suspicions that heâs a first year. (though once you helped a junior print for the first time as a first year yourself last spring semester).
âabsolutely!â you confirm, keeping the friendly smile on your face to hopefully put him at ease. âhave you been able to connect your computer to the printers at all yet?â youâre pretty sure you know the answer, but ask anyway.
the student, whoâs taller than he looks, all folded in on himself, shakes his head sheepishly. âiâm stuck there,â he explains.
âthatâs alright. here,â you nod your head towards the nearest printer, standing up and leading him over. he follows, laptop cradled in his big hands. âdo you mind?â you ask, hands hovering over the touchpad when he sets it down on the table.
âno, no, of course not. go ahead.â he gives you quick permission to touch his computer, and you spend the next minute explaining and showing him how to connect to the printer. in the system settings, you catch his name. maybe youâre a little curious about him. sam winchester.
he makes the attempt to print out the syllabus for a political science class. and, as often happens, it doesnât work.
âthe printers here sort of suck,â you explain quickly, so that he doesnât feel bad or more nervous. âsometimes itâs because youâre using a personal computer. unfortunately, i donât know how to fix that issue, but the tech services desk opens at eight and should be able to help you! if you need to print now, you can head to the computer lab, sign in with your stanford email and password, then select the same printer that i showed you.â
âokay,â he sighs out. âthank you so much,â he says sincerely, looking relieved that thereâs a second solution.Â
âof course,â you smile, then walk off back to your seat as he heads for the computer lab. about a minute later, he returns, looking slightly embarrassed. it turns out that he still canât quite get it to work. heâs very apologetic for bothering you, but you assure him quickly and easily that itâs no problem at all. heâs so kind and frankly, cute, so you have no qualms with helping him.
the syllabus prints, and he thanks you several times. each time, you assure him that itâs no problem, that youâre happy to help. something about him makes you want to ease his nerves. you hope that your adamant kindness makes a good impression for his first day.
it must have at least a little, because you see him in the library often. then, you see his name in the list of new hires for the library this semester. the next time you meet him is the day that your boss asks you to show him how to shelve books and take inventory. you work together once a week. heâs easily your favorite coworker, and youâre pretty sure that youâre his.

I'm dead, its finals for the semester at my school. Could you do a different slashers x reader were the reader has finals and is burnt out, emotional, and overwhelmed and they hate to see the reader that way and maybe some even get mad at the school for causing this and do somthing about it like making it shut down for a while?
Slashers with Stressed! Reader During Finals Week
A/N: Thank you so much for the request! Please, make sure to take care of yourself during this time. I wish you the best of luck on your finals! :)
Freddy Krueger
Anything but smiling is basically a no-go in his book
The fact that he also hasn't seen you in a while only makes him more frustrated
He's aware of the all-nighters you've been pulling recently
Your head buried in numerous books and pages
He decides enough is enough and shows up in your world instead
Your desk is a mess, and he can see the slight puffiness under your eyes from your most recent breakdown
Yeah, he needs to end this
He gives you a reassuring hug and disappears again
He finally comes back about an hour later, a smile on his face
"There won't be school for a while"
You look at him confused
However, all the lack of sleep was catching up with you, so you don't argue as he leads you to bed, tucking yourself under the sheets
The next morning, you wake up to several notifications on your phone, all of them saying that several students were found dead in their beds last night
The whole school was going to be shut down for a while as an investigation ensues
You could practically hear Freddy's laugh echo in your mind
Michael Myers
He doesn't understand why you're so stressed out
It's just a few tests
If they're bothering you so much, just skip them
But as he watches your desperate attempt to explain why you have to take them and everything that's on the line if you don't, he finally gives up
He hates seeing you so upset about something so trivial
So he heads out that night while you're snoozing on the desk, having passed out on accident
You finally wake up a couple hours later, you eyes slowly adjusting to Michael in front of you
He's changing out of his dirty clothes, trying carefully not to wake you
However, when he notices you looking at him confused, he just walks over to you
In his hands, the bloody school ID's from every single one of your professors
Jason Voorhees
Jason has been practically begging you to go to sleep or eat SOMETHING
But you keep refusing him, too overwhelmed at the amount of studying you have to do
You are hoping that by using every possible minute you have, you'll be able to at least pass these finals
But Jason feels like you're just torturing yourself
So while you're drowning out the world with your headphones, Jason is slipping out to your school
He somehow manages to destroy most of the campus's electrical supply
This gives you a couple extra days to prepare and actually take care of yourself
When you find out the news, you can't help but jump onto Jason
He's just happy to finally see a smile on your face
Thomas Hewitt
You had to explain just what a final was and how it affects you by not passing
He understands why you're so stressed now, but it doesn't make the situation any better in his opinion
He tries to tend to you as much as possible
Drinks, food, back rubs, blankets, etc.
Literally anything that he feels would make you comfortable in the moment, he brings to you
Will stay up with you too, waiting for the minute you need something
He really enjoys taking care of you too, so none of it feels like a chore
As much as he would like to make dinner out of your professors for overwhelming you this much, he knows that it would only stress you out more
Plus, he's confident you'll do well on your finals!
You are the smartest person he knows, honestly
Bubba Sawyer
He's also completely at your beck and call
He doesn't feel comfortable leaving home on his own, so he doesn't know how to help get rid of the source of your stress
But he's very much willing to alleviate it as much as he can
He makes you dinner, prepares some warm tea, and even gets the fireplace going for you
He also tries to clean and tidy up the area around you, hoping it will help you focus more
He's never taken an exam before, but he definitely knows it's important to you
And what matters to you, matters to him
He shushes everyone who walks by just a little too loud, earning a couple laughs from you
He does pull you away from the desk every once in a while though, making you lie down with him and cuddle
He assures you that taking breaks is good for you, but you're starting to think the cuddles are more for him than you
Brahms Heelshire
Grades were pretty important to his parents growing up, so he understands the pressure
But taking 5 huge exams in the span of a week?
That's actually ridiculous
Will play some classical music for you, telling you that it always helped him focus when he was younger
Will be a little more lenient about you following the rules
But he still expects you to give him attention
If he feels you haven't given him enough affection in the past hour, he will be all up in your business like a neglected cat
He isn't helping your focus much unfortunately
But he eventually makes a deal with you to help you study
This way, you're still using your time wisely, and Brahms is still receiving your attention
Will ask you questions from flashcards to see if you're answering them correctly
Gives you a kiss every time you get one right
He honestly has full faith that you'll do great on your finals
Norman Bates
Norman is trying his best to relax you, holding you tight while you explain your worries and frustrations
But the moment he hears your voice break and sees the tears running from your eyes, his memory goes blank
All he remembers is feeling an intense rage settle into his body
Not at you, but at your school for making you feel this way
He finally comes to a few hours later
It's already dark out, and he's standing over your sleeping form lying on the couch
He tucks you in quietly and helps tidy up your papers a bit
When you wake up the next morning, you have different notifications from your school and fellow classmates
You pull up a news report stating that the school was basically in shambles, and they even found a body of one of the professors in an empty classroom
This meant that your tests were going to be pushed off for a while until they sorted everything out
Norman looks just as confused as you do
"It's okay, dear. You should go back to sleep, okay?"
You simply nod and tuck yourself back in, thankful that you have some time to finally rest
Billy Loomis
Billy has thought this through for a while
Because he's also needing to take finals with you
He kind of just shrugs them off, being fortunate enough to ace every test he's ever taken, with or without studying
But you on the other hand, were barely holding yourself together
You were basically surviving on just caffeine and adrenaline, the fear of failing being enough to keep you awake late into the night
Now, as much as Billy would love to kill off half the school's population, he knew better
Graduating was important to you, and he didn't want to risk prolonging that
So he went with plan B
He threatened the school
He did the second best thing he knew how to do, and that was making a phone call and telling the school that if professors or students showed up during the next two days, they were going to end up killed
This was enough to put everything in lockdown for a few days
How he managed to not get traced was unbeknownst to you
But you were still incredibly thankful, finally relaxing in his arms for the first time in days
Stu Macher
Now Stu didn't really think this through like Billy had
He just went in for plan A
He didn't want to take these tests either!
But he also didn't want to put in a lot of work to prevent them
He just wanted to stay by your side as much as possible, hating to see you so worked up over these finals
So he did the "bare minimum" in his words
He went to school, killed a couple teachers, cut the phone lines and major electrical units, and went on his merry way
And of course, the school was immediately shut down as a huge investigation ensued
But Stu was happy with his decision
Now, he could spend the next few days with you AND see you relaxed for once
It was a win-win
Although murder may not have been your first option, you still gave him a big kiss as compensation
Eric Draven
Of course Eric being Eric, murder is not the first solution in his book
He's taken plenty of finals in his day
He knows the pressure and the stress
And as much as he hated seeing you this way, he knew that the storm would blow over soon
But that's not to say he can't make you as comfortable as possible during it
He dug out an old heating pad and gave it to you, happy to see the wide smile you showed him once you grabbed it
He also lit a few of your favorite candles, trying to keep the atmosphere as relaxing as possible
He ordered take out for you both, got you your favorite drink, and even played some good studying music for you
He knew he wasn't going to be able to prevent you from pulling an all-nighter, so it only made sense for him to join you!
He ended up turning the whole night into one big study sleepover
He even helped you stay organized and provided a few study techniques that always worked for him
He's truly the perfect man to have by your side during this time

Bounce
Platonic!Yandere!EareserMic/Todoroki/Bakugo!Family x reader (GN) + Platonic!Yandere!LoV x reader (GN)
Summary: Trying to juggle hero class, very protective classmates along with their families which included multiple pro-heroes and your teachers who seemed to be incredibly extra attentive around you was hard enough - but at least they seemed to keep each other in check so that you were able to live on kind of normally, while being bounced around between them. Hopefully, no one comes around and ruins that delicate harmony...
! Minors Do Not Interact !
TW: Yandere, Dark content, kidnapping, manipulation, mentions of planning a murder, violence, swearing (thanks to Bakugo), Obsessive behaviour, I do not condone this, this is all fiction, tell me if I missed something - also this is not proofread so there's probably a lot of mistakes that I'll fix sometimes in the future
Ever since you've started attending U.A., your life has become incredibly exhausting. Now, one would think 'Of course attending the top pro-hero school in the country would be exhausting, what did you expect? A walk in the park? Idiot.', but to this person you'd say that they were right. You hadn't expected U.A. to be easy, you really would have to have been stupid to do so, but the actual school wasn't the problem. Sure, classes were challenging sometimes and the training was working you to the bone some days, but you were able to live with that - after all, you had known that it would be hard when you had signed up for it, but what you hadn't known was that you'd somehow become the pet project for not one, not two, not three, but four pro-heroes, three hero-students and two overprotective suburban moms.
When you had started school, you had expected to kind of merge with the masses. After all, your quirk wasn't really anything flashy, your family didn't include any famous heroes or rich business moguls, and you weren't one to thrive with attention directed at you. Now as someone who joined the school later in the semester for personal reasons, you knew there would be some spotlight on you for a few weeks, but you also thought that there'd already be established friend groups and connections, so once the natural curiosity of a bunch of teens was satiated, you'd be able to just go the rest of your school days in peace and quite on your own. So imagine your surprise when after an entire month of being in class 1-A, the three most popular (and probably most promising) students of the class seemed to be glued to your side, and along with them their respective friends.
Izuku, you learned after a few days, was the kind of person who was probably predetermined to make friends with any new person he met, as he even tried to be friends with the boy who bullied him relentlessly - but with you, he seemed to drive that up a notch. He was interested in literally every word you said, started to have what seemed to be an entire chapter dedicated just to you in his notebook and soon that escalated to what seemed to be an entirely separate book just for information about you. But Izuku was a little weird in the very best way possible, so you didn't mind too much, he was funny and tried to respect your personal space and need for alone time - even though he seemed to think alone time meant that he was just sitting silently beside you while you were allowed to do something you usually would do completely alone, like writing in your diary or calling your parents. Honestly, you were surprised that he let you go on the toilet alone (even though on some days the second you went out to leave for the bathroom, someone from his friend group or he suddenly seemed to need to use the bathroom as well.
Shotou surprised you with how clingy he seemed to be, after all, from what you had heard from people from other classes and from how he seemed the first time you had met him he wasn't really the most sociable person. As far as you knew, he was only part of a friend group because Izuku had latched onto him and had refused to let go until he had become one of his friends by association. So, again, it was quite surprising when he seemed to initiate interactions with you as often as possible, be it insisting that you studied with him, that you joined him while making dinner in the dorms, sitting down beside you during lunch, or just silently sitting in the corner of whatever room you happened to be with and staring. The last one was definitely creeping you out, but after Izuku had told you about all the horrible things that had happened to Shotou (later he would definitely deny any accusations of manipulating you into being more accepting of his friend's stranger behaviours) you felt too bad to confront him about it. Still, Shotou was a lot more up to your speed when it came to how calm and quiet he usually was, so you didn't have all that many complaints about his constant presence, especially since he and Izuku got along great which made hangouts mostly peaceful.
The same decidedly could not be said about Bakugo. Bakugo was a chaotic and destructive force to be reckoned with. He was brash, loud, opinionated and (sometimes) violent - basically, he was everything you usually tried to avoid. Bakugo did not like that - not one bit. He insisted that he was 'the best f**king person in this f**king place to hang out with and he was better than any of these sh**ty extras so you should be happy he even wanted to be your friend, now shut up and let him cook your favourite meal." It was safe to say that spending time with him was usually very stressful for you - at least when Izuku and Shotou were there, which was almost always because he could not hold back on insulting them, screaming that he was the only person who had any right to hang out with you and that he was more than enough to protect you - the question about what they thought you needed protection from was always more or less elegantly deflected. Curiously, it turned out that Bakugo was able to act very differently when it was just the two of you - he was still very brash and slightly aggressive, but he became a lot quieter, and a lot more thoughtful too. When it was just the two of you - for example after he picked you up like a sack of grain when the others were distracted (by his friends usually) and locked the two of you up in his room, he allowed you to quietly read a book or draw or do the things you usually didn't have the calm to do while he studied at his desk, insisting you make yourself comfortable in his bed wearing one of his jumpers.
You figured sooner or later your teachers would figure out what was going on and intervene, but your homeroom teacher especially seemed to go in a different direction. In fact, he seemed to support their friendship with you - telling you that they were the best suited in class to protect you when he wasn't around (again, no explanation as to what you'd need protection from). He insisted that you spent at least one break every few days in class with him so he could 'supervise your progress and help you with especially difficult material', paid a lot more attention to you in class than anyone else, let you get away with forgetting homework or slacking off during training, always pair you up with someone who he'd knew wouldn't let you get hurt and who'd make sure you get a good grade, and you seemingly always got better grades than the students who did just about the exact same thing as you. Honestly, you didn't really have a reason to complain at first, but then the breaks spent with him turned into breaks spent with him and his husband Hizashi (sometimes joined by Shinsou who also seemed to be close to you whenever you left the classroom during breaks, but never really talked that much).
Now the three of them (along with their friends whom the three seemed to colour off on) and your teachers were already hard enough to handle, but they seemed to be happy as long as you spent the same amount of attention on all of them and didn't actively play favourites - even though they always insisted to be the favourite when talking to each other. This delicate alliance was broken though, when Izuku invited you to stay with his mother during an elongated weekend at home - and when he gave you his puppy eyes and let you listen in on a call with his mother where she sounded so incredibly excited at the prospect of her little boy bringing a friend home with him, you just couldn't say no. The weekend was actually very nice, his mother was such a kind woman and she treated you like her own child. Actually, she probably treated you better - she made sure everything was perfect for you, she only made your favourite foods (thanks to Izuku's intel), she made sure your bed was always fluffy, your room was always the ideal temperature, the shower in the guest bedroom always had the right water pressure, and everything the tree of you did was something that you'd enjoy. Sure, she could be a little overbearing, but given that your own family had never really cared about you that much it was really refreshing.
At least it was for the very first time, turns out being cared for 24/7 was a lot less refreshing when there were like a dozen people trying to do it at the same time. Given their rivalry, it was only natural that once Bakugo and Shotou (and Aizawa) found out about your little trip to Izuku's childhood home, they insisted that now you just had to come visit their families as well. And so you started being bounced from one family to the other. Gone were the weekends spent chilling in the dorms and getting to have at least some time to yourself, instead you rotated through four different homes - none of them yours, even though the families in them would vigorously insist that you were the most important 'resident' in it. And so you found yourself in the Bakugo residence, getting pampered by Misuki and Masaru, having your clothing thrown away and replaced by custom-made ones by them, and getting to enjoy being around the (slightly) calmer version of Katsuki.
Or you found yourself in the Todoroki's house, surrounded by his siblings and his parents - his mother seemingly wanting to forget that you were not her child as she treated you like one of her own, even insisting on you letting her or Enji tuck you in no matter how often you tried to tell them that you were actually not a child anymore (not that they wanted to hear that). Enji wasn't home a lot, but he made an attempt to be home as often as he could when he knew you'd be there, causing a vague tension between his family, but no one wanted to say it out loud since you actually enjoyed when he was there (since he not only spoilt you, not shying away from any expense but since he was also the one who was most likely to let you trips with his family - the others preferring to keep you all to themselves inside) and he sometimes brought Hawks along who always made sure you had a fun time since he kind of took on the role of a cool uncle.
The family that was probably most up your lane was the family of your teachers. Aizawa and Yamada cancelled each other's energy out for the most part, so it actually felt like spending time with a normal family, not to mention that their little daughter Eri had really grown on you, insisting that you were her younger sister (you didn't bother to correct her after the first few times, assuming that she was just using the logic a little child would use) and their son Shinsou would usually help you out whenever you needed some alone time by agreeing to play with Eri for half an hour if you agreed that you'd cuddle with him and the family's cats and kittens later - honestly you saw it as a win-win.
With all of these people wanting you to pay attention to them or wanting you to spend time with you all the time, it was no wonder that you were exhausted, but honestly, you were just happy that they got along fine enough to accept the 'schedule' and routine that had arisen from the chaos because you had overheard them talking about just how willing they were to go probably too far to keep you around. Usually, you'd probably gone to the police the moment you first heard Bakugo threaten Shinsou that he'd blow up his cat if one of them ever scratched you or when you heard Hawks and Enji talk about how they'd be able to permanently incapacitate Aizawa and Yamada if they ever needed to, but a) you were never alone, so when would you be able to and b) people tend not to believe that some of the most famous heroes and their children would ever be so obsessed with someone as unassuming as you. So, you just made do with the cards you had dealt to you, just happy about the little bit of free time and privacy you had left.
While you were so preoccupied with keeping these opposing forces at bay that you hadn't noticed some different, unknown, foreboding pairs of eyes on you whenever you were out in public. One Sunday evening in a nice restaurant as you spent the last of your weekend with Midorya, his mother, and All-might who had insisted on joining, to get to know his successor's new best friend and one of his favourite students better, you excused yourself to go to the bathroom and when you came out of the stall, you felt a pinch in your neck and everything turned black.
When you woke up in a dingy bar surrounded by people you had seen only when they had tried to attack your school and kill your friends, with the girl you knew liked to stab people having you lie with your head in her lap as she brushed her hands through your hair - your hands were tied behind your back with silk so there was sadly not a lot you could do about it - and the guy who liked to burn everything around him insisting on covering you with enough blankets to keep you warm to make sure you wouldn't get sick while insulting everyone and everything around him. It was safe to say that you knew that should you get out of the League of Villains lair again, you could probably say goodbye to any time spent alone and most likely to any outing where there weren't at least two pro-heroes protecting you.
A/N: Day 9 of my Yandere Writetober, Special thanks to @sol565 for the inspiration for this story, without them, I would probably not have been able to write what turned out to be the longest story on this blog so far and I really enjoyed writing it so lots of love and lots of thanks â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž Tomorrow's word is 'Fortune'

IN NEED OF TOTURING
Student!Wanda Maximoff x Professor Reader
This is smut between G!P Reader and younger Wanda, if that's not something you'd enjoy, please leave and don't flag this post.
Warnings: Older Reader - Reader has a penis - G!P Reader - NSFW - This is smut.
_________________________________________
Wandaâs not like the rest of your students, at least not in any way that matters. Sheâs twenty one, like most of them are but your observations go beyond her age.
Sheâs a quiet girl, delicate when she speaks and even more so, when she laughs. Sheâs soft in a way that makes you want to break her, but that shall come later.Â
With everyone focused on their tests, you take the opportunity to indulge in this secret obsession of yours---at least thatâs what you believe itâs become, this desire to observe her, to drink her in and daydream about what itâd be like to actually have her.Â
She sits in the front row of your class, just like sheâs been doing since the semester started and she began to drive you mad with want.
You scan the room with your eyes, but no one seems to be cheating, everyoneâs focused on their own tests, even her. Especially her.Â
Sheâs your best student after all, the one with the easy answers and clever arguments that always made your days more enjoyable. You donât think youâve ever been sad about a semester ending, but here you are.Â
To say that youâll miss seeing her pretty face three times a week would be a gross understatement, and thatâs not all that youâll miss.Â
Youâll miss seeing what new sinful little outfit sheâs chosen to torture you for the day, and the cute and provocative way in which she always bites her lips when you catch her staring at you.Â
But the thing youâll miss the most is hearing her voice, and pretend you can touch her skin when sheâs looking at you.Â
Timeâs up too quickly, and you watch your students eagerly leave.Â
âMiss Maximoff? A moment please.â You speak before you can stop yourself. You canât let her go, you have to do something before sheâs gone.Â
âIs there something wrong with my test?â She asks, moving closer to your desk as the last of her classmates leave.Â
You look up from your desk to find her hazel eyes worriedly waiting for you to speak, and you take in a deep breath in a weak attempt to try to control yourself. The things you want to do to her---the things you have to do to her.Â
âWould you mind stopping by my office this evening? Thereâs something Iâd like to discuss with you in private.â She twitches when you speak, her right hand nervously touches her hair as her eyes meet yours in hesitation.Â
âThereâs nothing wrong with your test, I assure you. Youâre my best student.â You smile, winking at her and to your personal delight, you get to watch her blushing under your attention.Â
Sheâs not so innocent, youâve always known it if youâre being honest. Â
âŠ
Waiting for the day to come to an end is by far the hardest thing youâve done in a while, but when you hear a knock on the other side of your door after seven, you reel it all in.Â
âCome in.â You speak and Wanda peeks her head inside first, before you invite her in.Â
âGood evening, Professor.â She says, as you notice that sheâs changed her outfit. Sheâs wearing that black little skirt that has been taunting your dreams ever since she bought it a couple of months ago.Â
Itâs one of her favorites to wear to your classes.
âHow are you, Wanda?â You ask as you lock your door and guide her towards the large couch you keep in your office.Â
Your clothes feel incredibly uncomfortable already, you canât wait to touch her and itâs all you can think about. Itâs the only goal in your mind, and youâre going to get there.Â
âIâm okay.â She smiles, although her confusion is very much present.Â
âThe semester is about to end.â You begin, she nods. âCan I be honest with you, Wanda?â
âOf course.â She nods again, and sets her backpack on the floor before she meets your eyes again.Â
âThis is not a professional meeting, if you will.â You smile, and she blushes.Â
Youâre not oblivious to her stares, or that much of a prude to deny that youâre easy on the eyes either. You know how to work with what you have, youâve always known how to get what you want.Â
âIs not?â She asks, her voice catching.Â
âOr perhaps it is.â You say as you stand up and go for the cabinet behind your desk. âI asked you here to give you this.â
âOh.â She smiles, standing up as well and taking the bottle of wine youâre offering. âBut why?â
âBecause youâre my best student.â You tell her. âAnd I think you deserve to drink fancy wine after excelling at a subject most people suck at. Donât tell anyone I said that last part though.â
She laughs at your joke, and when she looks at you again a part of you knows that youâre in, even before she speaks her next words.Â
âI adore history.â She tells you. âAnd youâre the best teacher Iâve ever had, so why donât we toast to that?â
âDeal.â
It takes two glasses of wine to have her laughing on your couch, and letting loose the slightest bit.Â
Youâre not entirely sure of what the line of conversation is anymore, but you do know that sheâs staring at your lips far more than she usually allows herself to.Â
Sheâs so soft, fragile in a sense. God, you want her lips around your cock desperately.Â
You sit closer when you serve her a third glass, and she smiles when her thigh presses against yours. The air is electrifying, you begin to ache and if you were to put your hand between her legs right now, you know youâd find a pool of want soaking her inner thighs.Â
For all intents and purposes, sheâs the one who places her trembling hand on your knee. Sheâs nervous, perhaps terrified of what will happen next but thatâs okay, you can easily take the reins of the rest of the evening now that sheâs given you a green light.Â
Looking into her eyes, you take the glass from her hands first and set it aside right along with yours. You're trembling too, but not because youâre afraid but because you want her too much.Â
You turn to her, the couch squeaking as you move to place a hand in the back of her neck, never breaking eye contact as your right hand moves to her knee and begins a slow ascend into the apex of her smooth thighs.Â
Her breath hitches when your hand disappears under her skirt, sheâs shaking, her body tensing as you lean forward to finally kiss her.Â
She gasps against your lips and moans when you finally press your fingertips against her soaked underwear. She tastes sweet, her lips feel like liquid velvet and she kisses you so softly that it makes you want to scream.Â
Your fingers are trembling when you push her underwear to the side and finally touch her bare dripping cunt. Her hips cant against your hands, she wants to break your kiss but you hold her in place as you run your fingers up and down her slit.Â
She groans and her hands squeeze your forearm, as she tries to fuck herself on your hand. You think about it for less than a second, but soon enough you shove two fingers inside of her without warning.Â
She pulls back from your lips, her hips searching for more and you give her more. Grabbing a hold of her long hair, you pull her head back as you squeeze in a third finger inside of her. Her back arches as you fuck her hard and good, no words are spoken.Â
Your office fills with the sounds of her little moans of pleasure and slight pain, her panted breaths and her broken voice as she cums around your fingers. Youâve never been harder.Â
You kiss her quickly after she cums and push her to the floor without preamble. She kneels in front of you, ravished and confused as you undo your pants and free your rock hard cock for her to suck.Â
Youâre breathless, more than a bit desperate but as soon as her tiny hands touch your painfully hard cock, you let out a relieved groan that makes her smile in return.Â
Her mouth is so warm, her lips softer than you could have ever imagined and your cock fills her mouth completely.Â
You donât want to cum yet, but sheâs making that almost impossible with the way she bobs her head, almost choking on your dick as she stubbornly tries to take your entire length in her little mouth.Â
Thereâs a part of you that wants to fuck her mouth silly, grab her hair and force your cock down her throat, make her choke on it until she cries, but youâd much rather see tears run down her cheeks for a very different reason.Â
You push her head away, her puffy wet lips making your cock throb and twitch as theyâre separated from you.Â
âCome here.â You grab her arms and pull her on your lap, your lips finding hers in a messy, dirty kiss that she reciprocates in earnest.Â
Her clothed cunt rubs against your cock but you donât want to fuck her this way, no. You want her legs spread for you, your hips pushing her thighs apart as your cock destroys her tiny pussy with its length.
She fists your shirt as you stand up and sit her on the edge of your desk, pushing away your belongings for her to take up the space. Sheâs panting now, her fists holding onto your shirt for dear life, her doe eyes staring at you with desire and fear.Â
You take off her panties, never breaking eye contact even as she lets go of your shirt and plants her hands on the desk, leaning backwards just the slightest bit.Â
Pushing your briefs down to your thighs you grab a hold of your hard on, stroke it twice to calm yourself a little. Sheâs holding your stare as you push her left leg to the side and step forward between her legs.Â
You move your hips, bringing the tip of your cock to rub against her slit. She moans, her eyes flutter shut but she refuses to look away.Â
Itâs painful, how much you want her makes you ache but you imagine, by the way she screams, it is more painful to have a cock like yours shoved inside such a tight hole.Â
It feels suffocating, the way sheâs squeezing you while she refuses to look anywhere else.Â
Her chest rises and falls with each trying breath that she takes, while trying to feel comfortable with you inside of her, although you remain still.
You lean forward, your nose comes to touch hers but there are still no words, and you prefer it this way.Â
Your lips are ghosting over hers when you push your hips forward with force, making her yelp and grab at your shirt again.Â
You begin to fuck her hard, just like youâve dreamt of doing it for the past six months and she takes it without uttering a single word.Â
She takes off your shirt and you pull at the fabric of her yellow sweater, only to discover that sheâs bare from the waist up, no bra or shirt.Â
Her moans become raw, mixing with groans that scape her as you fuck her harder just to make her breasts jump higher and relish in the way her skin turns red because of how good sheâs taking you.Â
None of your fantasies make justice to what it actually feels like to be inside of her, hearing her moan and have her warm cunt wrapped around your dick so deliciously.Â
Pulling out of her, you give her no room to think before you grab her hips and turn her around. When her ass is presented for you, something animalistic curses through you.Â
You kiss her shoulder blade as you spread her legs with your hands and rub yourself against her. Sheâs panting, pressing her cheek on your desk and holding onto the edges as if it were a lifesaver.Â
When you enter her from behind, she calls out your name but thatâs the last word she can speak for the next following minutes.Â
Grabbing a firm hold of her hips, you fuck her so hard that she canât even breathe properly and your thighs begin to sting by the constant slapping of her skin.Â
When she cums, you show her no mercy, on the contrary. Feeling her cunt tremble and squeeze you in, makes you fuck her harder and deeper, so deep in fact that she canât stop cumming even after youâve painted her walls white with your release.
You know sheâll be sore after this and the thought of her feeling you days after today, makes you smile wickedly to yourself.Â
âHow was that for a proper good-bye?â You ask, pulling out of her and watching her legs shake as your cum leaks out of her abused hole.Â
She takes a moment to collect herself, seeming as her entire body is trembling and her hair's a mess. You zip up your pants quickly and give her a little space.
âI think I might need tutoring next semester.â She says, her voice hoarse and her lips looking so kissable. âFrom you. Just from you.â
âWeâll see.â You tell her as you button your shirt and pick up your phone from the couch. âBe a darling and lock up when you leave, yeah?â
She nods and you run your thumb on her bottom lip, already thinking of the next time you get to stretch those lips with your cock, and you leave.Â

campus library, 7:00 a.m. â sam winchester
cw :gn!reader, fluff, stanford!era, unedited, 658 words. requested ! for my 800 followers event [ closed ] .
summary :Â a nervous first year (sam) asks the cute libary worker (you) for help printing and accidentally develops a crush on the first day of classes.
itâs a good thing for the library patrons that youâre in a particularly pleasant mood, which is a rare occurrence at seven a.m., especially on the first day of a new semester. the poor first years are stressed. youâre leisurely as you walk behind the circulation desk, setting your bag down by the chair and settling there with your laptop. it only takes about a second for someone to approach, holding his own laptop in nervous hands.
he does a pretty good jop of hiding that heâs nervous, but itâs clear to you that he feels out of place and maybe even a little lost.
âhi,â you greet him with a smile, inviting him closer and encouraging him to ask for whatever help he needs when he hesitates.
âhi.â he gives a tight lipped smile back, relaxing just a touch. âcould you maybe help me with printing something, orâŠ?â heâs clearly unsure if youâre the right person to ask. thatâs a classic question, and one that further confirms your suspicions that heâs a first year.

I would like to request a Riddle Rosehearts x Reader where reader really struggles with studying so he has to come up with a ârewardâ system :3 - đ„
Hi hi!!! My first TWST fic! Riddle is good boy, I used to think he was kind of annoying. But that was before I really got much into the story and now I completely agree, that he is precious baby boy. He got some issues, but who doesn't? XD
Here's a cute lil fic for the boy! Enjoy <3
Word: 1,552
âIâm sorry, housewardenâŠâ You mumbled, looking at the ground ashamed. It was supposed to be a simple test, but you had nearly failed it. Riddle wasnât one to tolerate lower grades, and wanted to be the best house in the school. At least, thatâs what he pretended to want more than anything. He really just wanted everyone to have the chance to succeed. You knew that, and it only made you feel worse when he began scolding you over the grade.Â
He sighed, and rubbed his face as if to hide the irritation he was feeling. âThis is your first semester here, you need to be able to keep up with your studies if you want to succeed. I wonât stand by when one of my housemates is fumbling on a simple test.â He glared at you, but the glare softened as your face only looked ashamed. There was a twinge of pain in his heart at the look, and he took a step closer.Â
âLook, if youâre struggling with concepts, you can come to me or your housemates. There are plenty of students here who have struggled with those topics, but weâre here to help each other.â He straightened his back slightly, and tried to give you a reassuring smile but it seemed almost forced. Riddle almost left it at that, but something was nagging at him.Â
âWeâve talked numerous times, youâre exceptionally smartâŠI donât see how these concepts are difficult for you.â He turned to look at you fully, his expression curious as he tried to figure it out without you even answering. It obviously didnât work, but his mind had run through numerous scenarios in the short amount of time it took you to speak up in response to his question.Â
You felt a bit embarrassed, and a small blush crept onto your cheeks from his gaze. You shrunk in on yourself slightly, and mumbled a small, âIâmâŠIâm really bad at studying. I just canât seem to focus on it for very long at allâŠâ Tears were nearly falling down your face, ashamed to admit thatâŠfocusing on things you didnât like was straight up impossible most days. You hated the fact that youâd made your house warden disappointed in you, and it made you feel like a failure.Â
Riddle made a surprised gasp when he saw your tears start to fall, and took a step closer to you, reaching out hesitantly. âH-Hey! Itâs alright! We canâŠwe can work on it together, okay?â His voice was panicked, and it seemed like he thought he was the reason you were crying. Heâd continue to beat himself up over that, but for now he needed to comfort you somehow. He put a hesitant hand on your shoulder and said softly, âWeâll figure it out. I think I know how to help. Give me some time, Iâll be back.âÂ
With that, he rushed out of the room and you heard his door slam shut behind him. Your jaw dropped, and you wondered what he had planned. But he just left you here to cry! Thatâs so rude! ThoughâŠhe did say he would try to help. You hadn't exactly had an overwhelming amount of conversations with him, so you werenât sure what he intended to do. You wouldnât even find out until two days later, since Riddle seemed to be talking to everyone in the door aside from you.Â
It kind of hurt, how he said he would help, but numerous other students you considered friends mentioned Riddle talking to them about you. If he had something to say to you, why wouldnât he say it to your face? Even your friends were keeping the secret on what he talked about to them. You tried to pry the answers out of them, but they all said variations of the same thing.Â
âI canât afford to have another âoff with your headââ
It was disheartening to say the least, but tonight when you were in the common room attempting to study, Riddle approached you directly. He looked determined, and a little smug, as if heâd solved all the worldâs problems. âIâve devised a plan.â He spoke, and sat down next to you with his phone in his hand. It confused you immensely, considering he rarely used the thing.Â
âAâŠplanâŠ?â You tilted your head and waited for him to continue, and he pulled out a binder the size of three full length textbooks. It had your face turn pale and your jaw dropped, terrified of the thought of having to memorize all of that. Though Riddle saw your look and gave a small chuckle.Â
âThese are my notes, not yours. But theyâll help.â He opened his phone and showed you the game heâd installed. It wasâŠone of your favorites of all time. Youâd play it when you got too stressed over studying, and it gave you mixed feelings. For one, it was relaxing, but the counterargument being that you were wasting your time playing it when you should be studying.Â
âSince when did you start playing that? I love that game!â You gasped, and he opened the game. He wasnât near the level you were at, but youâd been playing for several months. It seemed like heâd been playing for a coupleâŠthat or heâs using someone elseâs account. You looked at his gamer ID, and bio and concluded this was really Riddleâs account. That or someone is copying him exceptionally.Â
âTwo days ago.â He spoke, nonchalantly. âI got it for you.â He blushed slightly when he said that, and cleared his throat to continue explaining. âIâve taken notes on every possibility, enemy, and outcome when it comes to the game, and devised a strategy to get through every story and level in a proficient manner while minimizing time spent.â He looked proud of himself and stared at you until you understood his meanings fullyâŠeven though it didnât work.
âHowâŠis that going to help me study?â You were impressed by his efforts, and you didnât even know it was possible to have so many materials and weapons in such a short period of time. To say you were confused would be an understatement, and you found yourself mirroring his blush. âYouâŠdid all this to help me?â You mumbled, looking at his binder full of supposedly everything you would need in the game.Â
He cleared his throat to hide his blush, and tried to look composed as he continued. âIt will help because your friends mentioned you enjoy rewards for getting things accomplished. I have three hours of free time within the day, and I expect to see your results and papers on the questions you need help with or need corrected.â He took a deep breath, and spoke with determination in his eyes. âI will be giving you the materials you need based on how you score. And for each time slot around my freetime you work, I will spend my free hour time slot playing your favorite game with you.âÂ
It blew your mind how much time and effort he had put into his planâŠit made you tear up again. No one has ever been that thoughtful for you and your needs like he is right now. You had friends, yes, but Riddle was a busy person. He even said he only had three hours of free time in his day, and he was willing to spend it with you. You sniffled as tears started to fall as he gasped and looked petrified.Â
âI-I made you cry again! Is the plan insufficient? I thought it would be enough, I-â He reached out to you to try to comfort you, and you held his hand and smiled through your tears. You effectively stopped his panicked ramble, and spoke with sweetness in your voice despite the shakiness.Â
âThe plan is perfect. I would have even accepted holding hands as a reward. ItâsâŠreally just any time and anything I get to do with you.â You blushed, but closed your eyes from how wide you were smiling at him. The second your eyes closed, you felt his lips on yours. It made you open your eyes in shock to see his eyes closed with a blush that covered his face. The moment seemed to stop, and you both put tenderness into the action, not wanting that moment to end.Â
He pulled away, and tried to scowl, but it really looked more like an adorable pout. âI suppose I could do that again for your rewards. But only if you get your work done!â He scoffed, and looked away from you when you looked at him with nothing but enthusiasm and adoration.Â
âOkay! IâdâŠIâd really like that.âÂ
From then on, you would always study together. He had classes at different times than you did, but all of the free time you both had was spent with each other. Apparently, Riddle had fallen for you the moment you teared up from his lecturing you. He mentioned how you had a form of sensitivity and tenderness he hadnât seen in a long time. His feelings solidified when he saw you crying, and made a point to never let you get sad enough to cry again. Heâd make sure no one hurt you, and even if they didâŠ
Heâd be right by your side.Â

The Marriage of Music and Alchemy: Chapter Three
Warnings: None!
A/N: Posting from AO3.
~Cater helps out his underclassmen, and you receive an unlikely visitor.
3.8K words
Chapter I | Chapter II | Chapter III | Chapter IV
Cater never had reason to visit Octavinelle, and he quite liked it that way. Honestly, any sophomore ambitious enough to take the house warden position after their first year was generally a nightmare to deal with, Riddle included, so Cater just opted to mind his business and stick to his leisurely hobbies of skateboarding, music, and gossip. He loved it even more when gossip evolved into (harmless) meddling.Â
In the short few weeks of the semester, it seemed his underclassmen had come to know him quite well. A harebrained scheme to get two professors together was exactly the distraction he wanted to over-invest copious amounts of time into. Â
While he was kind of upset, it was youâŠthe absolutely smoking new music teacher, he could be the bigger person just this once and let Crewel have you. Admittedly, Cater had many fantasies about being seduced by and or seducing you during one of his cello music lessons, but even after so many of his smooth attempts at flirting, it seemed you weren't taking the hint or maybe just insisting on a professional boundary. Lame. It's a total bummer but also a sign to move on.Â
And besides, if you and Crewel did hit it off and he knocked you up, seeing you as a milf would be more than enough of a reward for his efforts. Cater keeps all of this in mind as he heads to the Monstro lounge after class to make a pact with Azul. Ugh, booâŠ
The lounge doesn't open for dinner service until 5:00, so hopefully, Octavinelle isn't bustling with students, and the tweels are preoccupied with prepping for the evening rush.Â
But as Cater strolls into the purple watery depths of Azul's office, he finds no such luck. It's obvious he and Floyd are engaged in some futile argument. Yet, ever the businessman, Azul's formerly irritated expression morphs into something much more disingenuous but, at the very least, more pleasant.Â
"Cater! To what do I owe the pleasure?" Azul opens his arms in welcome, standing from his seat at his oversized leather desk chair.Â
Cater offers a bright smile and casual wave, preparing for the performance of a lifetime and momentarily questioning again why he agreed to help out his underclassmen. Maybe he was too much of a shameless gossip if it led him to Azul's desk, and perhaps it was time to seek help. But Cater supposes in for a penny in for a pound.Â
"I have a bit of a tough ask." Cater demurrs.Â
"I assure my dear senior nothing is too challengingâŠwith the right price." Azul can't help but add the last point.Â
"You're too shameless," Floyd rolls his eyes.Â
"I need you to figure out Crewel's weekly schedule."
Azul scoffs with an incredulous raised brow as if to say, 'Is that it?'
"Easy. Consider it done~" Azul says without hesitation before being promptly interrupted by Cater's groan.
"Not finishedâŠ.I need Crewel's schedule about his goings-on on Sage's Isle when he's not on campus." Cater winces at how insane of an ask that is, but Azul is nothing if not boundariless for the right exchange.Â
Azul pauses, unsure if he heard correctly. Cater can see the gears in his head turning as he processes before eloquently barking:
" What ?!"Â
"Why are you trying to figure out Professor Beakfish's schedule? Kinda weird." Floyd interjects.Â
" Classified . Can you do it or not?" Cater could see Azul running over the feasibility of this request while staring off into a distant corner and running the numbers. Seconds later, after a 'tsk' and shrug of his shoulders, Azul presents the deal.Â
"Fine. Sign away your signature spell for two months."Â
"Two months?!!? Two weeks!" Cater rebuts. "I don't care about it that much-"
"You're essentially asking to stalk our Professor, which I have no problems with, of course." Azul raises his hands in a placating gesture before adding, "Your business is my business, and you know I keep things confidential. However, let's be clear: this is a crime."
Cater rolls his eyes. "I would say light surveillance and certainly not malicious."
"We're taking on a serious risk by doing this for you. There needs to be meaningful collateral." Azul insists.Â
"Oh man, could you imagine Prof. Beakfish's face if he found out what we're doing? He'd probably be lividdddd." Cater sighs. He knows this tag teaming is a part of Azul's brand of dealmaking and is largely just an act. He can walk awayâŠbut he came all this way. He might as well finish what he started.Â
"One month." Cater relents.
"Deal ." Azul smiles sinisterly.Â
"Whatever, you need to get the full schedule by this time next week.Â
"Of course! It will be done."
Cater reluctantly shakes on the agreement, and with a flourish, Azul presents his notorious golden contract.Â
"The froshes owe me big time." He mutters under his breath. Cater will probably just get Acedeuce to do whatever work he has to do around the dorm for a month. And the Prefect has it hard enough managing Grim. He'll let them be.
Cater promptly leaves the office and will share the good news with the freshman at their weekly check-in tonight. He just hopes Azul will come through.Â
As he watches Cater retreat from his office, Azul is only slightly worried he's bitten off more than he can chew. He begins formulating a cadre of plans while drumming his fingers anxiously on the desk. The tweels are certainly expert sneaks, but Professor Crewel is incredibly keen. Deceiving him might actually be a nigh impossible task. Floyd was right. If they were to get caught, it would be a severe offense.Â
"I'm kind of excited. What if we find out some horrible secret about Prof. Beakfish?"
"UghâŠwell? No. Crewel seems like a poor choice of target for blackmail." Azul says mindlessly.
"Wow, no one said anything about blackmailing Azul. You're one twisted guy, you know?" Floyd flashes a toothy grin and is obviously teasing, but the task ahead of them has him a bit more unsettled than he'd like to admit. Azul waves a dismissive hand.
"Just go get Jade." Azul barks before adding, "We don't have a second to spare."
Floyd leisurely saunters out of the room. "Whatever you say~"
*Â Â Â Â Â Â *Â Â Â Â Â Â *
You must have been doing something right as a Professor because (not to toot your own horn too much, butâŠ) your students seemed to be obsessed with you if it wasn't the ramshackle Prefect coming in nearly every morning to sit next to you at the Piano bench, asking about your daily habits and weekend plans. It was Deuce Spade helping you put away the music stands after class ended and before club activities started. Sometimes, the Prefect and Deuce would come together after class, energizing the music room, much like today. Between those two and how your homeroom students absolutely dote on you, you didn't have to guess that you'd already become a fan favorite.Â
As you sat at your desk, reviewing music theory quizzes, you and your students chatted casually about all manner of subjects, but their topics always turned rather personal. Not that you minded and not that their lines of inquiry were ever inappropriate. You found their interest in you rather sweet, if at times odd.  Â
"Professor, how long have you been living in Foothill Town?" The Prefect poses the question nonchalantly, continuing to sort books on the carpet near your desk.
"Since July," You answer casually, "us teachers have to return to school early to prepare for your arrival. I moved in over the summer."
So you haven't been here much longer than us Professor." Deuce observes.Â
"I certainly haven't," You concede.
"Vil would call you a spudling, too." Deuce adds, and you let out a laugh.
"I'd like to see him try." You scoff, but the sound is light and airy.
"Foothill town is really beautiful, but it's so small. Have you had a hard time making friends on the island?" The Prefect changes the topic.Â
You consider the question thoughtfully. It has been a change since moving from Fairest City, which was home to millions of people. The place you had largely grown up since you started your music education after moving from the Land of Dawning when you were eight. You left all of your friends behind to get a new start; of course, they were a phone call away and, most conveniently, a weekend mirror trip, but that didn't mean that you shouldn't start building community on this little island. There were a few hundred thousand people living on Sages Isle, and while it was certainly still early days, you had a few potential connections you could see crystalizing into friendship.
"Not really, I'm friends with a few women in my yoga and pilates classes, and the other faculty members are quite kind to me."Â
"Oooh? Which faculty members do you get along with?" The Prefect inquiries coyly/
"Or not get along with?" Deuce amends.
"Oh, I won't answer any leading questions; I like all my co-workers just fine." You demur.Â
Deuce and the Prefect pouted at your answer as if it wasn't quite the one they wanted to hear.Â
"Which area do you live in? I haven't gotten off campus much, but it's a really beautiful island."Â
"Oh, it certainly is. I have a little house by the coast with a little yard. I've recently renovated it; when I first purchased it, it was nothing short of a hovel."Â
"You like to garden?" Deuce chimes in, crossing the room with two collapsed stands in each hand.
"Oh, I have no natural talent for it, but I would love to start one. I am an avid cook, so homegrown produce would be amazing. Though my dogs might try to eat the vegetables before I can get to them?"
"You should ask Professor Crewel for help! He manages the gardens here on campus and he always help me with planting and cultivating." Deuce offers.Â
"Yes!" the Prefect seconds enthusiastically. "And he loves dogs. I think he has some."
"Oh, he definitely does. Two, Apollo and Achilles." You correct without hesitation.
"Those are exactly the types of names Professor Crewel would pick for his dogs." Deuce crinkles his nose in distaste.
"Aren't they? I've only known him a short time, but he's horribly predictable sometimes." You chuckle to yourself, and despite the sharpness of the words, there is not a hint of malice in your tone, if anything, perhaps a bit of appreciation. Â
"Do you two get along? You seem like you would have a lot in common." You pause at Deuce's question. Your smile doesn't leave your face, but your eyes narrow skeptically.
"What makes you say that?" You question, curious about such a supposition.
"Nothing, you two just have the same type of humor when you teach." The Prefect is quick to clarify, not without throwing a disapproving glare in Deuce's direction.Â
"Really?" you ask, raising a thoughtful finger to your chin, adding, "I suppose Crewel is quite humorous-" but your words are interrupted by a man who stumbles noisily into your classroom, pushing the door so hard that the knob clangs raucously against the wooden paneling.Â
A lush bouquet of flowers obscures his face and most of his torso, only leaving a pair of unsteady legs with crisply pressed slacks visible. You don't know who this man is or what he could want, but his outburst has clearly startled your students. The Prefect stops tidying the choral books on the carpet in front of your desk and leaps to their feet defensively, holding a book, while Deuce holds a music stand with both hands, raising it over his shoulder much akin to a batting stance. You had no idea where the children learned such attuned fighting reactions, but you move to stand between them and the approaching stranger.Â
"A little help," he calls. The man doesn't look to be much of a threat, so you immediately rush to pick up his flowers, and your eyes meet warm hazel ones, widened and struck they look at you with soft admiration.
"Uh, excuse my manners, these are for you." He hoists the flowers into your hands, now leaving you engulfed in foliage. You sense the Prefect come to your side as they guide you by the elbow to your desk.Â
"Oh, whatever for?" You call behind the blooms, you're not sure you have any admirers at present who would gift you such a lush bouquet for no particular reason.Â
"I should introduce myself. My name is Clifford. I'm the musicology Professor at RSA."
"Nice to meet you," You throw your name over your shoulder as you place the flowers on your desk. "That still doesn't quite explain the florals." The Prefect stands close to your side and casts a nasty glance towards Mr. Rogerson. You get a better look at him, too, but you can't quite understand the seeming contempt your students have developed for him.Â
He seems like a normal man, quite tall and rather gangly. His tan trousers don't quite meet his ankles, and expose garishly bright socks.
"Ah well, I was on notoriously bad terms with the former musicology instructor here, and admittedly, I am a bit of a fan of your work." Oh? That was a bit of a surprise. Of course, you were a well-known musician in the classical music world, but outside of major metropoles, it wasn't common for you to be recognized. People didn't tend to be very fanatical about classical musicians.Â
"When I heard you were hired, I knew I needed to do whatever it took to get in your good graces," Rogerson says earnestly, gesturing to the flowers. Â
"Well then, you're off to a perfect start." You smile, stroking soft petals. "I love dahlias. I perfect the black ones, though." You thumb the cloying pink petals with appreciation, but the Prefect is convinced there's an almost imperceptible disgust in your eyes at the saccharine color.Â
"Noted for next time." The young man grins at your seeming appreciation for his gift.Â
You point to Deuce and the Prefect, introducing them.
"These are my students. They were just helping me tidy my room after class. As you can see, I'm already quite a popular instructor." You tease, walking back over to Rogerson and clasping your hands in front of you.Â
"I completely understand. If you were my teacher, I'd never even want to graduate, erm so sorry, that was a bit much." Rogerson has managed to fluster himself and you truly take in his appearance, his has dark blond hair and pale complexion, his accent is like Crewels, meaning he is more than likely from the Queendom of Roses.Â
You chuckle coyly, more than used to these types of confessions but seldom from people who weren't old enough to be your parents. You spare a glance at your students, both of whom are glowering at the new face in the room, Deuce in particular, trying to look as intimidating as possible.Â
"Darlings, why don't you run along to your club activities so Mr. Rogerson and I can have a chat?" At that, Deuce and the Prefect exchange concerned glances and very, very slowly begin to back up their belongings. You scoff at their petulance but carry on with your conversation.Â
This is bad. The Prefect thinks, is this just how you are, or are you actually flirting? Well, whatever it is, it has Rogerson all in a tizzy.Â
"I'm truly honored that you would make time for me, but afraid I can't stay and chat. I only came to deliver these flowers, but perhaps we could meet tomorrow evening. I know this cafe in town stays open late, so could I meet you after classes?" Rogerson proposes, a slight bit of apprehension in his tone. Fear of rejection, it seems. You are inclined to accept his invitation, but as you go to nod an acceptance, the Prefect is quick to interject.Â
"Professor, isn't there a meeting tomorrow for cultural fair planning that you'll have to attend after classes? "
"Ah, you're right! I'm sorry. I'll have to decline the invitation. Perhaps another-"
"Well, not to be too insistent," Rogerson interrupts, "but if you're not opposed to an even later meeting, we could go for a drink. You're new in town, right? I'd be happy to show you the best spots.â
"How indecent!" The Prefect remarks, aghast, and hand on their chest. They were nearly out the door, but Rogerson's invitation has caused them and Deuce to dart back through the door.Â
"Are you propositioning our Professor!" They accuse, feigning indignity.
"Excuse me? I would never, I just think-" The RSA professor is already stumbling over his words in embarrassment, but Deuce and the Prefect don't let up.Â
"Yeah!" Deuce adds. "That's totally out of line! You came all this way to ask our teacher on a date?"
Rogerson starts to stammer when your students so confidently accuse him of indecency, but you quickly come to his rescue.Â
"I will see you two tomorrow. Rest well, darlings." You dismiss your students for the second time as warmly as possible and wait for them to filter out of the room at the most leisurely pace you'd only thought Leona capable of. "Thank you for your help today." You call once they've finally departed.
"Sorry about them." You gently place a hand on Rogerson's forearm in consolation, but another presence enters the room.
"I didn't take you for this much of cad. Rogerson, it doesn't suit you." As if on cue, Crewel steps onto the scene. Out of the corner of your eye, you notice the Prefect's shoulders droop with a sigh as they depart the room.Â
But more importantly, you swear you feel the temperature in the room drop, the tension between the two men recalling a decade of animosity.
"Ah, quite. That was always your game if I recall from our school days." Rogerson replies without skipping a beat. His focus is now entirely on Crewel and his apparent former classmate, if context clues are anything to go by. Your fellow colleague steps further into the room and takes up a place at your side.
"I don't," Crewel replies coolly. "I take it you were just about to head out? The door is that way." Divus is always so shameless, but there is no excuse for blatant discourtesyâŠeven if there's a history you're not quite privy to, Rogerson has been nothing but kind, and as a frequent recipient of extravagant bouquets, this one certainly had to cost 30,000 thurmarks at least.Â
"Professor Crewel, that is hardly a way to treat guests." You chastise lightly, with a disapproving frown.
"I'll walk you out, Mr. Rogerson." You insist, linking your arm with Rogerson's as you attempt to guide him to the door. You spare your colleague a glance, and while the reaction is ever so minimal, you swear that Crewel deflates a bit at your gesture.' That won't do,' you think to yourself.
"You don't have to." Rogerson weakly protests, eyes flicking between your arm in his and your warm, pretty smile in apparent disbelief, but it's apparent that he's delighted by the prospect of taking a long private walk to the school's distant entrance.
"It's the least I could do after the flowers." You reply as you head out of the music room, but not before turning to address Crewel who came and awfully long way to visit you from the alchemy room.Â
"Professor Crewel, I'll meet you in your room once I'm finished."
Crewel instantly perks up, his brow slightly raised. You only reply with a playfully nonchalant look. As you two share a cheeky glanceâan unspoken understanding passes between you.Â
"Of course, Professor." Crewel smiles before departing, passing his old peer and only offering a much less warm acknowledgment, "Rogerson."
You turn back to the man who most certainly got more than he bargained for when he came all the way to hand-deliver these flowers if you can tell anything from flushed cheeks.Â
*Â Â Â Â Â Â *Â Â Â Â Â Â *Â Â
Crewel has only three ancient rivals. One, of course, is Professor Trein he and that stuffy old man have never gotten along, the other isâŠgoing to be a bit complicated if he wants a future with you, but the third is most certainly that stuck-up prick Clifford Rogerson.
Rogerson was a student at RSA, perhaps a year older than Divus, although Crewel would have to say he's aged quite poorly in comparison.Â
And while the optics of their contempt for each other might not cast Crewel in the best light, he was almost certainly the instigator of past conflicts, Divus thought that they had come to an tacit agreement to stay in their respective territories on Sage's Isle, but for whatever reason, namely you, Rogerson has decided to break this treaty.Â
But perhaps Rogerson's greatest offense is the mere thought that a woman as urbane, beautiful, and talented as you would ever have anything to do with a pallid husk like him. Certainly, you recognized Rogerson's attentions to what they were. Just the obsequious obsession of a musician, not with not even a tenth of your talent. Perhaps the way mortals bow to gods might be an apt metaphor for the leagues that Rogerson is beneath you. Crewel sits with his feet on his desk, eyes scanning passively over the courtyard as he drums his twirls his pen in contemplation.
You knock at the door before entering.Â
"Professor Crewel?" You call softly.
"Professor Bellamy, as expected, you are a woman of your word." Crewel, takes his feet off his desk, leaning forward to greet you with a small grin.Â
"Of course. My apologies for not coming sooner; I was occupied with you, dear old classmate." Your tone is dripping with sarcasm as you lean against the doorway.Â
"Ah, yes, he didn't speak of me, did he?"
"No, not really." You assure Crewel.
"Coward."Â He hisses.
The vigor of your laugh takes you by surprise.
"Never mind him." You encourage walking closer to Crewel's desk. "I thought, well hoped, maybe you came because you wanted to give me another ride home."Â
Crewel scans your smile and finds the corners of his lips rising to match.
"There isn't any rain, dear Professor."
"I know, but it is awfully chilly."Â
"A bit presumptuous, but I can be accommodating. We'll have to hurry before that meddling Professor Trein catches us."
"I can keep a secret." You wink at him, and for the first time in quite a while, Crewel feels himself blush.
"In truth, I came because I was looking for Spade. He needed to make up a failed exam."
"Oops. I'm sorry to have kept him." You apologize sheepishly.
"He'll just have to do it tomorrow." Crewel isn't too bothered about it, Spade will simply have to make it up later.
"Can I trust you won't hold him hostage, tidying away music stands?"
"Hostage! I'll have you know the students come to me."
"Ah yes, you're already quite the favorite, aren't you?"
"Your words, not mine..." You shrug. "Now, are you going to give me a ride home or not?" You quip sassily.
"You know," Crewel begins, "not many people who talk to me like that have lived to tell the tale."
"Well, I'm not 'many people' am I?" You smile, now at the door, with your jacket in hand.
No, he supposes you're not.

đđœđđœ spare any jjk faerie au headcanons you have cooked up for a desperate lass?
of course because man do i have some thoughts as a lover of faeries. i could probably go on about this for hours
gojou satoru | elf
a prince hailing from a seelie court
his very birth shook faerieland as foretold by the stars red, blue and purple stars that soared through the sky the night of his birth and his eyes are ones that can see mana and the shape of the soul among other things
presents himself as a revel-loving fool he simply enjoys games, but he is a lot more observant and calculating than he lets on
in his youth he often toted on and on about the stupidity of love, likening it to more of a curse and an ailment that turned the sane into fools so outside of the obligation of having heirs, he doesn't desire love in the slightest
until he meets falls in love at first sight with you, a banshee who saved his life when you coincidentally happened to be passing by after he found himself in a bloody situation
causes the entire court to go into an uproar when he immediately announces his intentions to make you his queen never mind the fact you haven't even accepted his proposal yet
his mother doesn't like you in the slightest. she gave birth to one whose very birth has shaken the earth and if her son is going to marry anyone it is going to be someone more fitting of that position
satoru ignores all that in favor of doing his best to woo you now that you're stuck living in his palace until a revel thrown in your honor passes
yes he knows this very much so makes him a hypocrite but he doesn't want anyone else
asks you all sorts of question about being a banshee. how your cries work, if there are different wails for different situations, how long you've been heralding death
at least you know the man is nothing if not passionate. it's hard resisting his charms as he asks you gently each time to marry him. you think you just might say yes when you feel the ghost of his lips against yours
getou suguru | phouka
if he isn't being an advisor to seelie prince satoru, suguru is a human-hating phouka who is, unfortunately, stuck living with one
unlike humans, the folk are creatures who keep their word so when you are able to best him in something for a favor he's inclined to keep his promise
and yes, he promises that he won't harm you or your loved ones after your deal has come to a close. yes, this includes things you personally consider harmful ranging from murder to physical attacks
for a human, you're quite clever in looking out for any loopholes. you apparently weren't lying when you said you were a faerie enthusiast
but that's the extent of suguru's praise when he learns why you were so adamant to find a faerie to help with your problems ăŒ
apparently you took a botany elective thinking it would be an easy A only to now be just barely passing the class
yes, that's right. you want a member of the folk, a phouka, to be a glorified tutor until the end of the semester just to make sure you don't get a failing grade. apparently, suguru gave you far too much credit
still, you end up growing on him overtime with your sense of humor and you're way of looking at things. he hates to put it so simply but he supposes you aren't like other humans he has come across
(suguru later nearly destroys your textbook because he himself grows frustrated with your class. the human sciences are just as confusing to him as it is you. but your grade has technically improved since he began helping you so it's not entirely a loss is it?)
nanami kento | elf-kobold hybrid
an elf-kobold hybrid with horns that gently curve atop his head akin to an imperial demon
a record keeper often has work writing down events as they take place as well as organizing historical texts as he sees fit. it's a tiring and thankless job but it is something his family has been doing for generations and he sees no reason to break tradition now
the one saving grace he has are naps he enjoys taking between late afternoon and dusk, religiously, by a lake close to the palace
you're a swan maiden who calls the lake home and his quiet company. it's winter in the human realm and rather than fly south with your flock, you decided to spend the season in faerie and decided that particular lake would be home
you're a playful, impish thing who enjoys presenting nanami with riddles as he grows tired and you watch over him to keep him safe while he sleeps. a deal you've both made in favor of him bringing you delicious sweets from the palace
it's quite the favorable deal for you both
of course, inevitably you two get to talking and find yourselves having more and more in-depth conversations as the week goes by
what would nanami do if he decided to break family tradition?
where have you traveled in the human realm?
as a swan maiden, you seldom ever take off your cloak of feathers. there's no reason to ask, nanami knows the rules that swan maiden and selkies follow. should your cloak or coat be taken, you're forced to follow their will
as such, nanami never refers to your coat in the slightest. he never even asks about it
it's a great sign of trust among your kind to ever be vulnerable with your cloak. something nanami learns first hand when he wakes up one particular evening and finds that you have covered him with your cloak to make sure he stays warm
fushiguro toji | boggart
a lord in an unseelie court of faerie, who works in service to the high king as his sword
had a mortal wife who died centuries ago and together they had a half-human son
his son lives among humans presently and while they don't readily talk to one another, toji often has his men sent to the human realm to watch over his son and give him reports on his wellbeing
doesn't imagine himself ever loving someone he did his wife again until running across you a human who stumbled into the wrong mound
allows you to stay in his fief until it is otherwise safe for you to return home
you say you're a dancer so you dance for him and keep him entertained as a sort of thanks for not promptly killing you when you trespassed on his territory
the tension between you both is palpable to many. his staff who are forced to wait on your hand and foot as his guest and to the gentry you see at unseelie revels
the ones that gossip about how it isn't strange for toji to take human lovers
and yet despite that, no matter how close you get, toji keeps a distance between you both that. he fell in love with a human once, still remembers the sting of watching his beloved wife grow old and wither away in front of his very eyes
it's a pain he doesn't want to revisit ever again
okkotsu yuuta | human
unlike most stories of selkies and their evil human spouses, you're marriage with yuuta is quite the happy one in the seaside town you call home
yours was an accidental love story where he accidentally caught you in his net, only to release you
the next day, you brought piles of fresh fish and crabs and shrimp by his beachside home as thanks, much to his confusion as to where the catch came from
you usually followed his boat when he goes to fish and he learns how to recognize you, often laughing sheepishly when he saw you, warning you not to get too close so you don't end up in the net again
it isn't until a stormy night when yuuta fell overboard that you did anything drastic such as save his life, taking him to the shore and giving him cpr
you stayed with him all night until the storm passed keeping him warm
when yuuta woke up to seeing a beautiful, naked person by his side, he was understandably surprised. even more so when you transformed into a seal right in front of him. that was his introduction to the folk, to magic
now he's surrounded by you and your ocean-filled magic everyday in your little cottage by the sea
you come and go as you please, sometimes for weeks sometimes even for months at a time depending on the time of year
but you always come back and yuuta is happy to see you every time

iâve been following ur writing for some time now and i do have to agree with that anon who said you did CH dirty. you are a very talented writer so itâs just hard to watch.
you started off CH so strong with the lore and little chapters here and there but as it progressed you kind of just got lazy and it shows. when important events happened in the story, they werenât conveyed through writing but through the texts (ie the riki and yn fight, that was definitely worth a written chapter) and it was honestly disappointing.
the ending isnât much to say about either. yn and hoon barely go through development after the letter incident and all of a sudden theyâre dating and married with a kid like two chapters later?
idk, if it was a mental health issue then i get that but even then you shouldâve just gave it a break and thought everything out more. you could do so much better.
thank you for the feedback!
i wanna put you through the progess of a piece of writing from the POV of a writer okay? now keep in mind: i work two jobs, am a fulltime uni student and the daughter of an immigrant household with two parents who still work most of the day just so you know what else i have to deal with, besides my mental health okay?
now, i started off CH strong right? yes. i uploaded on the daily, fine i chose that. a chapter usually takes me around one hour if i actually sit down and focus on nothing but the chapter itself, which includes IG stories, editing, formatting etc. alright
on top of the daily chapters, i constantly replied to 40+ asks a day, a blessing in disguise because no matter how much i enjoy talking to you guys, the pressure does get worse the bigger that number of my inbox becomes, i hope this makes sense
now, i started CH back in october, right when my semester started, thats why i started off strong but as time went on, my assignments and private life got too busy and i guess i felt entitled enough as a writer to skip a few certain chaps and make life a little easier for me by making them regular chapters instead of written ones.
and this is gonna be my main point: i'm not a machine. i wrote a minimum of 5 THOUSAND words per written chapter, MINIMUM. we're talking about a 5-9 THOUSANDED worded chapter EACH WEEK. which usually took me about 6-7 hours, even allnighters.
yes, i chose to do that and maybe my time management wasn't the best but i had to create a compromise where i wouldnt have let you guys wait for over two months which would have resulted in me losing my motivation completely, and yet still focusing on EXAMS. because you know, i'm a fulltime uni student with TWO jobs đźâđš
if YOU think i did CH dirty go write an alternative ending yourself but it should be a minimum of 15 chapters including 5 written ones, with at LEAST 9k words each yeah? i wanna see you manage it all, pls prove me wrong snd show me you're better than me i'm genuinely begging bc it might inspire me to do "better" next time.
as a writer/artist/creator, and i can tell you probably arent one yourself or havent been one for long, the longer smth takes to come to an end the worse the pressure becomes which results in a blockage i dont wish upon my worst enemy i'm being deadass. i dealt with some of the worst writer's block ive had since i started writing literally 12 years ago and you're telling me i should have just "taken a break" and do "better"
i never, ever expected anything from anyone but some of you are so entitled to a writer's time and skill it's giving me a headache. maybe you didn't like the timing and writing of the last few chapters of CH and i guess that's unfortunate but this was so unnecessary because you completely dismissed everything else that could have been going on in my life and even belittled my mental health issues like im some fucking AI writing machine
do better, be nicer, write it yourself if you don't like it i'm so fucking over this
if i had gotten out of my own comfort and wellbeing and have actually written another set of written chapters i would have burned myself completely out. ive been in this fandom for not even a year and have already finished FOUR smaus with 50 chapters each, you do NOT get to tell me what i should or could have done better because you dont even give a fuck about me as a person this is just about receiving what YOU think YOURE entitled to but this is MY art and I will do what I see fit even if it's not what was expected of it because i'm a fucking human being with a life before i'm a writer on tumblr
oh, also: i do this for free ă
€:) just a reminder :) this is my HOBBY :)
and don't you EVER call me lazy again when it comes to writing because i'm not gonna pour my heart and soul into a fic just for you to call me lazy when i literally wrote 50 THOUSAND words for this fucking fic just for the written chapters
goodbye

yandere twins introduction
âwherever you go, whatever you do, they'll always trail behind.
directory: part two here. contents: yandere male x gender-neutral reader. yandere female x gender-neutral reader. only reference to reader/darling is 'you'. implied murders.
notes: finally finished their introduction! they've been sitting in the back of my mind for a long while now.
You might've been a little scared. Your recent transfer to another university left you feeling lost, especially since you didn't know anyone. At the very least, you were well-off enough to afford a dormitory on campus.
And your first week went by great! You were able to somehow befriend numerous friend groups and floated between each. It wasn't long before your name was passed around and people were vaguely familiar with you. By the end of the first month, everyone knew you. You were being greeted in the hallways, given free things for your acquaintanceship, invited to any and every event... People were so comfortable with you that even gossip presented itself freely.
Of the idle chatter, one topic caught your curiosity: A pair of twins had just begun attending a month into the semester. You were curious, though you didn't have faces to tie to the names people gave you. The Mihailovs twins.
The circumstances around them seemed somewhat intriguing as you heard offhand comments here and there. Something about their origins, their sense of style, and the hyperbolic rumors of a murder caused by one of the twins.
So you decided when you could try to at least figure them out. The opportunity to meet other classmates was also something you kept at the forefront of your mind with academics, though it wasn't very difficult to keep track of as long as you kept your priorities straight.
You first meet the older twin of the two, Vitalina, after participating in a debate in one of your classes. While you were trying your best to give your contributions, Vitalina was on the opposing end keeping her head cool and hung low. It was kind of weird, but that wasn't the only odd thing she did during class. She spent half of the lecture playing mostly cards, always alone. Sometimes, she was joined by other people who wanted to connect, but she seemed reluctant to spend time with anyone.
It wasn't until later that day in the library that you found her doing homework all by herself. She didn't seem to realize that you'd approached her at first, as it took her a minute to finally look at you. She stilled upon noting your presence. Surely, you didn't see her gazing at her homework like some of the words were written in an alien language and she couldn't read them, right?
Her eyes narrowed as you offered to help, slowly nodding before she looked back down. "...Yeah." Her tone was soft. She slid her paper towards you, her gaze remaining distant. With her consent in mind, you took a seat beside her.
You didn't realize it then, but you sealed your fate.
With your help, Vitalina was steadily able to keep up with her classes, and in the process, you were able to learn a lot more about her. You discovered that she had the tendency to be bored and detached from the things she became interested in, thus explaining a lot of her weird behaviors during lectures. However, the funny thing is that... She started to take an interest in you.
The changes were subtle at first, increasing inch by inch, enough for you to be unable to register them until someone else pointed it out while you were doing pair work for a class.
Over weeks, Vitalina had begun to act strangely â or, normally, which was why it was unusual. Her hair, previously always unruly, was combed and taken care of. She dressed differently, more feminine and neat, posh. It wasn't the same as before, but she seemed to be in a better state now compared to when you first met her. She talked more. She was smiling a lot, making small talk, and laughing along with you whenever you shared jokes with her during your only shared class and your time together in the library. She insisted that only you called her Lina, her nickname.
There was one thing, however, that seemed to remain consistent since the day you met her; She never showed interest in anyone other than you. Sure, it was obvious that you and others began seeing her as a popular girl after the changes, but she never seemed to care. She was completely indifferent to it, only keen on keeping you close for as much as she could help it.
You wouldn't have any idea of the disdain she felt towards your other friends. She seemed to start thinking that you wouldn't come back to her once you realized how much fun you would be having if you kept hanging out with them. She didn't like how your attention wasn't on her alone.
She couldn't have thatâ No, she really can't stand the idea of that!
It was why she suddenly started to chat people up. To you and everyone else, it was an overnight change. But to her, it was a necessary step in the long run that she made sure she took the social reputations of others in her control. That way, if anyone were to do anything unsavory to threaten her current relationship with you, she would be able to simply pull a string to ensure they'd never think of approaching you ever again.
She never stopped going to the library with you throughout all this, making up excuses as to why she still wanted to keep your quality time together. She even convinced you to go shopping together from time to time, as she just never bothered to hang with anyone outside of school and the events you both were invited to. It was just too hard for her to make conversation with new people.
And thankfully for Lina, you understood where she was coming from, so it was often you two together. It was peaceful that way, her neediness appeased knowing that you had time for her and you stuck to it.
Then her brother ruined it.
Try as Lina might to hide it from him, he wasn't blind to the hours she spent prettying herself up for you. At night, he could always see light shining from underneath her door. If she forgot to close it, sometimes he could make out her soft curses whenever she messed up during eyeliner practice.
She wouldn't do this for herself, no. Varis knew better than that. If it were the case she'd have done it ages ago, so there had to have been a reason for her dedication. It wasn't long for him to figure out the cause of that dedication was you. And from what he observed during his time sifting through the pictures Lina took with you after he hacked her phone, you didn't seem to be aware of it. It wasn't enough for him to watch you through a digital screen though, he felt as though he hadn't discovered all he needed to know about you before deciding if you were a good or bad influence on his twin.
He wanted to observe you from up close.
It was a bold move on his part to sit directly beside you while his sister was on the other, he was sure he could feel Lina glaring hatefully his way when she realized it. You, on the contrary, were struck by the physical similarities between the two.
Lina was pretty, yes, but Varis could be a model. It was strange to you that he somehow succeeded in being more alluring.
And as much as Lina wanted nothing more than to strangle someone of her blood, she didn't want you to think negatively of her so all she could do was sit tensely as Varis proceeded to make small talk after introductions came out of the way. Much to her chagrin, he never left after, opting to study in the library for a change with the excuse that the apartment was starting to feel stuffy. He didn't expect himself to like spending that study time with you though, considering he was never interested in socializing with anyone.
When the time came for you to bow out, the two had offered to walk with you to your dorm before they left for their apartment. The walk home was silent, one-sided tension could be felt. And the minute they entered their home, Lina's first instinct was to grab the nearest object and throw it to her brother.
After living with someone for so long, you'd grow to predict their actions, as Varis displayed when he caught her hand before she could let go of the flower vase. When her strength was unmatched, her verbal yells came next. How could he?! How did he know about you?! Was he trying to take you away too?! Does she have to destroy her brother?!
"Lina," Her shoulders tensed. Eyes glinting with near-murderous intent, glaring and mentally cursing him. "I'm not taking anyone." She didn't realize his other hand had gone to take something from behind him until the object taken had glinted in the dim light of their living space, a knife finding itself being pushed into her grasp. The implications were present, she could kill him right now.
It's so hard for her to outright kill someone, unlike him.
Sucking in her breath, Lina pushed Varis and pointed the edge his way. "Try anything funny and I won't forgive you." His eyes narrowed, holding up his arms in a lackluster manner, expression blank. She was trying so desperately to keep you away from him.
Why? What was it about you that had her so wrapped around your finger?
You and your effects on Lina were the only thing that occupied his mind when he retired to bed that evening.
The day after, he sought you out. He wanted to know you without Lina's presence, see what about you made her want to stick to you like glue. Why did she want you as her partner? What would happen if he involved himself further? He wanted to make sense of everything; he had a feeling this wasn't going to be the last time he found himself face-to-face with you.
The more time he spent around you, the more he began to be aware of this one growing feeling. A selfish desire to keep you all to himself, creeping up with no way to stop it. He couldn't explain it. He continued to pursue your time and attention, trying to pinpoint an explanation.
Somewhere along the way, the need for knowledge slipped away, and what replaced it was the rush of being with you. And fuck, now he knows. Now he knows why Lina had been acting strange, why she's changed, why she's so desperate to mold herself into someone you could desire. He understood, now all that was left was this feeling of yearning.
If Lina was doing her best to keep others away from you, he was making sure to erase those who he deemed a threat.
Slowly, people around you trickled less and less. Sudden decisions to relocate, disappear into another city with some friends in tow, and a few students turned up missing. It might've started to feel worrisome to you, but Lina was always there to chat you up and take the occurrences off of your mind.
It was because she knew who was behind all of it that she was able to keep calm. Had it been anyone else or an unknown party, she would've swept you along to a much safer place.
When Lina finally confronted her brother, ready to fight; Varis could only keep seated, relaxed. During the time she spent unable to face him, he had been contemplating. He didn't want to kill his sister if it ever came to that, his parents would know and people might catch on. While he was able to outrank her in strength, she would still be able to leave evidence on him. And if she succeeded in killing him instead, she would have difficulty disposing of the body privately.
You would inevitably find out, either way. You would come to hate them both if you did. That's why he an another idea in mind. "I know a way to get what we both want." His words struck his sister dumbfounded yet guarded, he took her inaction cue for him to continue and explain.
The next time you saw either of them, they were together. It was a surprise, given that both often spent time with you separately. When they noticed you, they'd glued themselves to your side in a matter of seconds. Lina had wrapped her arms around one of yours with a sweet smile, while Varis blankly towered comfortably over you with a hand around your shoulders.
Everything went by smoothly during the next few times you hung out with them, not a single ounce of hostility shared between either. You weren't incredibly dense enough to pick up on the fact that the twins had their disagreements, so you were simply glad they'd set aside whatever was driving a wedge between them.
In turn, they were both teaming up to spoil you little by little. Lina's always inviting you over to places to try new things together, while Varis always somehow keeps himself physically close and acts as a source of comfort. You'd receive gifts of things you needed or were running out of, and it essentially came to the point where the three of you were always together even on campus.
It was only a matter of time before they would decide it was time to whisk you away.
And they'd make sure you would have no reason to refuse.

Likes, comments and reblogs will be heartily appreciated âĄ
and on page 157 she fell in love...
"Love"~ a word meaningful only between the withered folds of literature, luring one into the Georgian haze.Realistically tho, finding a love that will entwine both soul and mind, seep through your cracks and reconcile the cores, is as strange as a diffident person like you getting raveled into a one night stand.
Quite literally clawing out your scalp, ensuring the inevitable headache later on, you kept on asking yourself, what made you so wild to sleep with a random ass stranger, that too on the night before fall semester started??!!!! The guilt clouded your mind so much so that the trance had to be broken by mingyu's hard slap on your shoulder.
"Are you dead or what idiot? The new professor's been here for over a minute now and called out your name almost seventeen times" the tall idiot sitting beside you, nearly howled into your ears.
Before the count could hit eighteen, you quickly pried up from your seat, taking a glance at the man standing in the teacher's place.
Why does his face look so familiar? That same hairstyle with heart shaped strands sticking to the forehead, those harry pottery glasses overshadowing the cat eyes, his exact little stubby nose and most importantly the bewitching plump dahlia lips.
No way it's who I think it is!!! It's definitely the hangover towering. How can he be -
"Ms y/n?"a soft hushed voice called out, pulling your train of thoughts to a sudden halt,"Mr Bennett handed over your thesis to me before he left." Only a single nod left your body as you took over the file and made your way back to the place beside the giant sized puppy, body completely washed off by an unknown tingling sensation.
"Morning students!! I'm your new literature professor from now,Jeon Wonwoo. Mr Bennett's knowledge and aura are indeed irreplaceable but still I'll try my best to bring out the beauty of literature to you guys." the man spoke, eyes a bit tensed up yet briming with a certain sort of joy.
Throughout the entire lesson, your beads were fixated onto your teacher ; as a person who would never let their focus sway, specially in literature classes, you now didn't even know what chapter the class was going through.
"Looks like someone is enchanted huh" your annoying ass bestfriend pushes you a little from the back as the entire class gets ready to head out for lunch.
"Y/n?" you hear the same raspy voice seek out your name. "Go go! Your prince is calling you!!" mingyu teases you again with a mocking smile on his face.
"Utter a single word after this, and I'll make sure you walk reverse footed the entire week" you stomp on his feet before turning around to listen to what your teacher had to ask.
"Yes sir?" you coo out softly, trying to make your racing heart less obvious.
"Meet me at my office after lunch. We need to discuss on your thesis."
"But I already submitted it to Mr Bennett once, then why again?"
"He ran short of time, while packing things up and couldn't scrutinize the papers properly, so now I'm in charge." jeon said as politely as possible.
"Okay sir. I'll be there in an hour"
"You can call me wonwoo" a light smile painted the older's face as he made your cheeks flush bright red with the comment.
Swirling around on your heels, you swiftly made your way out the room, not wanting to flash him with your blushing profile.
Stomping your feet in impatience and somewhat a little bit of anxiety, you wait for your beanstalk of a best friend to choose his drink from the vending machine.
"You're not choosing a wife Kim Mingyu. Hurry the fuxk up pls"
"Getting that worked up for a four eyed nerd! What a loser!!" mingyu spat out, while he bended down to collect his can.
"Says the one who has been bitchless since the cracking dawn of civilization. Oh wait you need to have human traits to get a partner, not that of chimpanzees" you spank his butt from absolute annoyance.
With a loud 'ouch' and his characteristic puppy eyes, mingyu rises up from his position and hurriedly drops you off at wonwoo's office door, otherwise who knows what more parts of him you'll break.
Cold sweats dripping down your face, you stand still at his door, an unfamiliar feeling shivering down your spine as you slowly bring up your hands to knock on the knob.
"M-may I come in sir?" why is it that you're shaking so much, is strange to you too. You haven't ever felt like this, not even when you met your bitchass ex for the first time.
"What are you doing to me jeon wonwoo" you whisper under your breath before stepping into the gloomy wooden space, following the green light from him.
Sitting yourself comfortably on the swiveling chair infront of his desk, you wait for wonwoo to speak up, legs shaking uncontrollably beneath the stilted plank.
"Welcome y/n. As far as I'm knowledged, your thesis is on Georgian Era pieces, and you've chosen Pride and Prejudice as your muse right?"
You just hmm in response, words refusing to leave your body, as you feel drugged by his honey voice.
"Let's get you started then" his eyes sparkling like fireworks.
Completely engrossed into your work, you almost became unaware of wonwoo's presence in the same room as you, posture quite stable now; oblivious of how quickly that composure is gonna get washed off of your body.
"Si-" picking up your head from the paper, you tried to call out his name as you needed some help with the summary, only to feel a hot breath fanning on your neck, his soft nose brushing againt your skin, as he stretches out his hand to the book infront of you.
"How many times have i told you to call me wonwoo, huh berrybub" the older's voice wooed into your system, his other hand gently tucking in the lose strands behind your ears.
"W-wonwoo can you r-read out this verse to me pls? I can't make out few parts of it" you were yourself astonished at how stable you sounded, completely ignorant of the shiver running down your spine.
"Anything for you y/n" wonwoo spoke out again, his wet lips lightly grazing against your cheeks, as he pulled the book into his hands and took his place back on the chair.
The rest of the session was as quite as a viva room, with him occasionally stealing glances at you, while you kept your eyes fixed onto the table.
An entire week went by like this, where wonwoo would read out the piece to you as you wrote your papers, with a regular comment of "if you keep staring at me like that y/n, then I fear we would be able to submit your work in time" from him. But that one suspicion refused to leave your mind no matter how much you tried.
Strolling down the hallway like a happy puppy, forgetful of all the worries with this newfound feeling of warmth and butterflies, you made your way towards the restroom, when suddenly a hand pulled you back into a dark corner.
"C-chan! What are you doing!" looking up at who this man was, you started feeling heavy in the head almost instantly, chest heaving up and down at the rate of a storm . It was no other than your yandere ex boyfriend, who cheated on you with your cousin sister!!!!
"Missed me princess?" his hands roaming all over your body as he pinned you down to the wall, a dirty feeling gushing over your entire body.
"It's over between us Chan. You knew that I would forgive anything but cheating. And you did the exact same thing. That too with Angie? Pathetic!!!" tears building up in your eyes as you try to sound as confident as possible. "And moreover, I don't think I have feelings for you anymore. Maybe it was never even love"
"Oh such a naive girl you are! You really think i give a shit about your feelings and all?" a devilish grin flashing on his face as Chan brings his lips closer to yours, hands gripping onto your waist tightly.
Your body was starting to give up, tears continously streaming down your face as you kept on praying for him to stop. But this is the 21st century, and God only helps those who help themselves. Coring up all the strength left in your body, you brought up your legs and karate kicked him on his groin.
A painful whimper left Chan's lips as he held onto his throbbing manhood, while you took this chance to run away from his grasp.
Running down the corridors, that now seemed to be endless, with his voice echoing through the walls "I'll not let you go off that easily bitch. Come back here", you tightly shut your eyes closed, desperately waiting for someone to save you from this nightmare.
And looks like the heavens finally listened to your helpless pleas as you felt a pair of bulky arms wrapping around your body like a warm blanket, pulling you into a bleak rim. Both9f your frames sandwiched against each other, hearts beating in unison, as your trembling body was now being warmed with the heat radiating off of you two.
You slowly look up at the man who saved you from that lunatic ex of yours; not like you already didn't recognize him from the strong scent of his cologne. Yes, you were unconsciously so in love with this boy, that you even remembered his smell.
As soon as your eyes met with wonwoo's, the first thing you noticed was some sort of burning rage in him, a fire powerful enough to burn down an entire forest in just a matter of few seconds.
"Wonw-" he didn't even let you finish your sentence before pulling you into the tightest hug, resting his head on the crook of your neck as he mouthed "I'll make sure to destroy anyone who dares to stain this blissful face of yours with teardrops, to lay even a single finger on your body", with an unreadable tone of anger yet sadness.
You hugged him back as tight not knowing what to say, completely taken aback by this sudden comment. Losing consciousness of what just happened with you just few moments back, you two kept on bear hugging each other as if it was the last day the Earth's gonna revolve 'round the sun, with wonwoo being the first to let go.
"I-i am sorry" that's the last thing you heard from him before he left you standing so empty in the dark, mind clouded with a bunch of unanswered questions.
"How can he leave like nothing happened, after what he did that day?" is the only thing that kept eating you out for the next few days, as you kept attending your college, both of you never crossing paths since the incident. Wonwoo didn't even show up to the classes, which surely was of no help to your intense craving. But you were highly stubborn yourself ; if he could ignore those close moments between you both so easily, you could too.
Another strange thing that bugged you was that Chan was never seen in the college campus after that day, ever again. Even his classmates failed to contact him anymore!!!
Throwing away these negative thoughts outta your head, you were strolling down the gallery, all ready to go back home as you suddenly took a halt before wonwoo's office. It was open and left unattended. You don't know what took over you and you entered the same place that gave you so many warm memories. With a silent sigh and sullen face, you carefully inspected the interiors, running your fingers along the places that were stained with his scent.
"Y/n?" the voice your ears have been longing for all these days, disrupted your probe midway. Turning around, your eyes immediately landed onto the figure standing at the door, the one your heart now beats for; at that moment all you wanted was to run to him, pull him into the warmest embrace and never let go.
But your self respect and self doubt was chaining you down, as you lifted up your feet slowly to leave the room, head hanging down low. "Sorry won- I mean sir. Sorry for intervening into your space. I'll be taking my leave"
"Don't! pls!" a muffled voice echoed around the room"W-we need to finish your project. I don't want you to fail because of me."
"It's okay sir. I can do it by myself. Thanks for all you've done for me till now" you blurt out quite sternly, with a hint of underlying taunt.
"P-pls" a sudden change of tone was evident in wonwoo's voice, as if he was on the verge of crying, which was enough to melt your composure. I mean who would want to see their loved ones cry because of them right?!
He guided you to your seat as he swiveled his own towards yours and sat right in front of you, with just a few inches gap between the two.
With a drooped down head, wonwoo pulled out the book from his drawer and took out a kitten shaped bookmark from the last done page. You lightly chuckled at the older's choice of stationary, while bringing out your thesis file.
"Let's start. Only some part is left" eyes still not daring to look at you , he started reading out the last few chapters of the piece, while keeping his gaze fixed between the folds.
Turning the pages to the one marked 157, wonwoo's voice came to a stall, slowly picking up his head from the book, his feline beads finally landed onto yours, hazed by a soft yet painful daze. Wonwoo soon started to read out again, but this time instead of looking at the book, he was looking at you, with a mixed expression of agony blended with intense pining.
"In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you."
Even though your mind wanted to go by the reason that it was just a line from the novel, your heart exactly knew what he meant. You wanted to let him know how much you loved him too, how much your soul craved for his, how long you've waited for this one moment....but you couldn't! A strange feeling of unjust kept you from running to his arms at that instant; so instead you got up from your chair and twirled around to leave the room as quickly as possible.
"Pls y/n pls don't leave me. Again!" two pair of arms wrapped around your waist tightly, immediately stopping you on your track. "You don't know how happy I was when I got to see you again that morning. I couldn't sleep for nights as i kept on squealing thinking about your smile lit face. You came into my life as the brightest ray when I lost all hope. Pls don't push me into the dark again."
Your heart clenched at the sound of soft sobs coming from your back, as you swiftly turned on your heels, only to be a met with a teary eyed wonwoo.
"I-it was you that night wonwoo?"drops now threatening to slide down your eyes. "They say the heart knows it all. No wonder why it always kept telling me that it was you" you said while wiping off the tears of his pale face.
"I've wanted to have you by my side since the moment you held my hand and pulled me into that hotel" closing the gap between you two as he softly placed his lips on yours ; pulling both being into a soft yet passionate kiss as you reverted back to him with equal thirst.
Grip never leaving your waist, he finally lets go of your lips, as you two gasped for some air, face all stained with fresh hot tears. Not long after, he attacks your face again, but this time painting it with affectionate sloppy kisses all over, as if a lost kitten found their home after days. He couldn't get enough of your body, as his wet lips gradually started going down your jaw and landing onto your shoulder, imprinting his teeth onto them.
Wonwoo gave a small tap on your legs and getting his intentions straight away, you quickly wrapped your legs around his torso, as he carried you towards the couch, unbuttoning your shirt in the mean time.
After he placed you onto the couch gently, sliding a cushion under your head, he carefully positioned himself on top of you.
"Can I?" soon afterward you gave him an assuring nod, wonwoo dived into your body, ripping off the white satin shirt of you, as he started placing wet sloppy kisses onto your chest. Fingers roaming around your clothed nipple, he swiftly freed your breasts off your bra and devoured them into his mouth ; earning soft alluring moans from you that were ringing like music to his ears.
Following a good thirty minutes of ravishing and worshiping your body, wonwoo finally plopped down on the couch, embracing you from behind as he pulled the covers over your bodies [do not ask me how a couch had covers pls]
"If you want you can leave me later, but please let's stay like this for some time" a whimper left his lips as he tightened the grasp around your belly.
Turning around to face him, you cupped his face onto your hands, rubbing your fingers onto his squishy cheeks as you softly assured, "Woo, I was smitten by you the exact day you came into our class. Maybe I couldn't properly recognize your face because of the alcohol, but my heart started longing for you since then. You have no idea on how hard I've tried not to fall, but look at me, I'm now head over heels for you. So don't even think about me leaving you, you dumbo. Neither are you allowed to leave, understood Mr!!" you flooff up your nostrils trying to imitate an angry puppy, earning the biggest flash of sunshine smile from bigger flooff beside you.
my darling,
you would never be unloved by me
you're too well tangled in my soul
finishing off your night with such a beautiful verse, you both drift off to deep slumber, entangled into each other's spirits.

The Secrets That You Keep
(Gojo Satoru x Reader)
Hello my lovely readers! Long time no see! Last semester of college was actual hell and it will continue to be so for this semesterâŠbut anyways enough about me! I wanted to start writing for Jujutsu Kaisen because I am OBSESSED. So I decided to start with a story! Obviously I am an angsty gorl and so I will also be writing a bunch of itâŠand maybe smutâŠBUT with that being said, hereâs a short little blurb for you before reading the actual thing!
__________________________
You have somehow found yourself helping the students at Jujutsu High. You have a special trait about you and that is you have very powerful energy coursing through your veins. How did you get it? Well, later on in the story you will find out that you didnât get it naturally, no no no. Lets just say you had a pretty messed up lifeâŠthough even though you had one, you still cope through it and stay strong. However, as you go through your little adventures with everyone, you start to find yourself falling for the one and only, Gojo Satoru. The only issue is will he realize his feelings for you soon enough? Or will he realize it when the clock has stopped ticking??
_________________________
Sorry for that shitty blurb. I have no idea how to summarize a story without spoiling itâŠ.but please enjoy if you do decide to read it and please let me know what you think! Like I have said before I am open to critique (Not rude, mean comments) but genuine critique as I always want to improve my writing for you all! Anyways, Iâm gonna go sleep cause its 4 in the morningâŠ.so have fun!
Word count 4.5k
Warnings: a bit of violence?? Other than that none
________________________
I ran like my life depended on it, my breathing increasing rapidly as I tried to escape the curse chasing after me. My view was blurred as I ran through the street, seeing only bits of light shining through the night. The large creature hurled towards me, screeching and clawing through the pavement. I looked around and tried to find different paths that I could take, seeing which one could get me out of the situation fast.
The night was cold and it was hard for me to keep warm while running. Clouds of air escaped out of my mouth as I continued to sprint away. There were a few paths that I couldâve taken, but it wouldâve resulted in me having to fight the creature in the end. Something that I was trying to avoid.
Unfortunately for me, I took notice of a stone wall coming up quickly. Seeing as there was no other way out, I mentally cursed myself for not paying closer attention. It seems there were only two options left. Either I die here and nowâŠor I fight back. Damn it! Why did it have to be now!
âSeems you need my helpâŠ.â A voice spoke inside of my head. I quickly shook her off, trying to see if there was any other way out of this. I donât need to deal with her right now. Desperately trying to find a way out, I saw a small opening right in the upcoming stone wall.
Bingo.
I pushed my foot further into the ground, forcing me to go all out. My body slowly began to glow a light blue hue as heat left my body. All I needed was to get through that small hole and I would be fine. If anything, it should block off the creatureâŠat least I hope. Suddenly, a voice came back to my consciousness, talking with grace, yet also with demand.
âDo not resist me. There is no other way out and you know it. You would be foolish not to let me help.â The voice spoke once more. I smirked, rolling my eyes.
âAre you kidding me? After what happened last time I let you out, there is no way I am letting that happen again!â I yelled out loud, panting after each sentence.
âI did what I had to. You wouldâve died if not for me.â She said, her voice becoming louder in my head.
My head started to throb, slowing me down a bit. She was trying to take over my body, I could feel it. Though, I shook her off once more, pulling her further back into my mind.
âNo! I wonât let you help this time! I can find a way out without your help! Youâll end up ruining more than needed. I canât afford to pay off any more damages due to you.â I said, gaining my full consciousness back. However, just as I was about to start my sprint again, I was pushed forward. I fell to my stomach, scrapping my arms and legs.
I whipped my head around, seeing the large, Smokey creature running after me. My eyes widened a bit as I watched its large body getting closer and closer to me. It looked like any horror movie, except thisâŠthis was real life.
I jumped up from the black pavement and quickly landed on my feet. I knew I wouldnât get far if I didnât fight back. I knew what I needed to do.
I stomped my foot on the ground, causing large chunks of rock to come out of the ground. I pushed my hands close together, allowing the rocks to circle around me rapidly. My senses were heightened as I listened to and felt my surroundings. The rocks were now circling around me with great speed that once released onto something, or someone for that matter, they would be impaled due to the force being applied.
I quickly used my left foot to kick one of the rocks towards the creature, hitting it right between its body. The rock, although small compared to the creature, did some damage to it. I used my other foot to kick another rock towards it, slicing right through its upper arm. Loud screeches were heard throughout the whole area, echoes that could be heard miles away.
I then began to kick each rock out of orbit and into the creature's body, trying to stop it from running towards me. I saved the largest rock for last, waiting for the right moment, waiting for it to gain enough momentum. Once I knew it was time, I calmed my breathing down and swiftly moved my fist towards the rock, hitting it with such force that a large dust cloud formed right behind the rock before moving towards the creature. I watched as the rock pierced right through the beast's head, splitting it into two.
The large, black beast groaned a bit, almost sounding like a low creaky door, as it slowly lost all feeling and control in its body. It began to slowly fall over, the smoke around it slowly dissipating into thin air. My eyes connected with the creature's eyes, not releasing the contact at all. I watched as its eyes closed, signifying its death and making me release my breath, a puff of air showing.
I placed my hands in my pockets and began to walk in the direction towards the creature. That was until I heard someone crying in the opposite direction. I turned my head towards the sound, trying to find the source. I saw a bush shuffle around, and although it was a bit windy, this bush was moving due to someone behind it. The cry sounded like it was coming from a child.
I calmly walked up to the shaking bush and carefully pushed some of the branches away, seeing a small child shaking. My eyes softened as I saw the poor boy shivering from the cold. I held out my hand to him, but he just moved back farther into the leaves.
âLeave him, he is a waste of our time.â The voice spoke up once again. I shushed her, forcing her away once more.
I then knelt down to the little boy, smiling softly at him.
âItâs okay. You donât have to be afraid of me. I promise I wonât hurt you.â You said softly to him, trying not to scare the poor thing.
He didnât say anything, however. He just continued to shake, tears forming in his eyes. He reminded you of your younger sister now that you think of it. You remember finding her in a situation such as this. She was terrified because she had just witnessed the first cursed creature in her life. Thankfully, you were there to save her, but just barely. She was in the same state as the boy, terrified and confused.
âI know you are confusedâŠand probably horrified about what just happened. But I promise you from the bottom of my heart that I would never do anything to hurt you. I know itâs hard, but I need you to trust me alright?â I spoke to him.
I held out my hand, hoping that he would come out so I could help him.
âI-I want my mommyâ He whimpered, making my heart ache.
âI can help you find her. What does she look like?â I asked.
âS-She has long brown hair and green eyes. She also has a scar on her eye from when our cat scratched her.â He said, slowly coming out of his shell.
âOkay, I can work with that. Do you want to come with me and we can go find her together? If not, you are more than welcome to stay here until I find her.â I said
He shook his head and held his hands out as he grabbed onto my finger. His hands were ice cold.
âYouâre freezing! Here, take my jacket, that should warm you up while we try to find your mom.â I said, wrapping my jacket around him, picking him up. He was obviously too tired to do much, after all, he did sit out in the cold for who knows how long. He cozied up into me, trying to find warmth again.
I began to walk, figuring out where to start first. We were basically in the middle of nowhere and so I didnât have a lot to start out with. However, just as I made the decision to head north, I was quickly interrupted by a male voice.
âHey there.â he said, appearing out of nowhere. I shrieked a bit, tripping over my own feet and almost falling. The man grabbed my arm, pulling me back to my feet before I actually made impact with the ground. As he did that, I got a good look at him and noticed his white hair that was pushed back due to the blindfold wrapped around his head. Odd
He was very tall as well and had very fair skin.
âThank you.â Was all I could muster to say.
He didnât say anything back however, he just stared at me withâŠintrigue? Confusion? Happiness? I couldnât tell. Man, grandma wasnât kidding when she told me I needed to improve my understanding of peopleâs body language.
He looked behind me and saw the dead creature on the ground, slowly evaporating into the sky. He then looked back at me through his blindfold and smirked.
âHowâd you do it?â He asked out of nowhere.
âDo what?â I asked, confused
âHowâd you kill the creature, dumbass.â the voice inside my head said, making me wince a bit.
âMs. LadyâŠ.are we closer toâŠfinding myâŠmama?â The boy asked, growing tired with every passing second. He looked up to see the strange man standing above us.
âMs. Lady, this is not my mama. My mama was prettyâŠhe looks scary.â The boy said, gaining the white haired males attention.
âIâm not that scary, am I? Come on, look at me!â He said playfully, but the boy just cuddled in closer to you, ignoring the man.
âListen, Iâm sorry, but I need to go. I need to help this kid find his parent. Now, if you will excuse me-â
Before you could finish your sentence, you three felt a powerful vibration run throughout the area. The man grabbed onto you two and held you to protect you from any danger, but after a good 20 seconds of the strong sensation, it stopped. You two looked up at each other before turning your heads towards the creature.
The shadows that were slowly going away began to quickly run back into the creature, breathing life back into it. The beast slowly got up, growling as it regained its consciousness. It took one deep breath and screeched as loud as it could towards us.
The male swiftly moved away, taking me and the child out of harms way.
âYou two stay here. Ill handle this.â He said
âAre you sure?â I asked, making him stop in his tracks. He turned around towards me with a genuine smile.
âYeah, I got this. After all, you are talking to the best of the be-â But before he could finish his statement, a large blast of dark energy shot right towards him, forcing a gasp through my mouth.
I quickly ran and hid the child. He was a crying and shuddering mess, but I tried to calm him down. I knelt down to him once more and placed my hand on his head.
âLook at me. Everything will be okay. Alright? I wonât let it come anywhere near you. I promise I wonât let it hurt you. But I need you to be quiet and calm, okay? Can you do that for me?â I asked sternly. The boy looked up at me with tearful eyes, but quietly nodded, holding onto my jacket for dear life.
I smiled down at him, standing back up to my feet.
âgood boy. Ill be back. Just give me a little time, alright?â I asked, running back towards the creature.
Itâs back was facing me, so naturally, I took the opportunity to strike. I slammed my foot into the ground once more, causing a large crack to pass through the ground. It made its way towards the creature and surrounded it. I interlocked my fingers together and forced them downwards, causing the ground the creature was standing on to sink many feet into the ground. I then pulled my hands away and crossed my arms together, forcing the sides of the hole to collide together. The ground smushed the beast into a gooey texture, but it still wasnât enough. It seeped through the ground and back up to the surface. It ran towards me and before I could react, it struck me in the side, pushing me towards a stone wall. Before my body could slam into it, however, a pair of arms wrapped around me and protected me from hitting the wall.
I opened my eyes to be met withâŠ.The strange man again.
âWhat the hell? But you-I saw-how did-â
He smirked down at me, amused by my confusion on how the hell did he survive that blast.
âLike I said, youâve got the best of the best on your side.â He said, placing you down, looking towards the creature.
âSit tight, and watch the master play his cards.â He spoke before dashing towards the beast.
âI donât like him.â the voice called out to you, making your head pound again.
âShut up, you donât even know him yet.â I argued, groaning as I could feel myself slowly lose my control.
âNo! Do not take over right now! You have no right!â I yelled, gripping my hair. My body was tired from the activity I had, making it more difficult to force her back into my head.
âWhy donât we show this guy who truly is the best~â The voice said. My eyes started to glow bright white. Golden cracks began to form on my skin, light seeping through them.
âNo! I will not tolerate this! You canât just use my body whenever you want to prove a point!â I said, slowly falling asleep.
âUhmâŠactually, I can.â She said, forcing me to fall asleep so that she can take over.
âAnd I willâŠâ She said with yours and her voice mixed together. She looked down at your body, seeing the bruises and scratches from previous fights.
She looked up and saw the mysterious white haired male going at it. He was smirking through the whole thing.
âHas he no humility? Does he truly think he is that great? WellâŠthen I suppose I should show him just how good he is, compared to me.â She said, quickly getting up and storming towards the shadowy creature. She moved at light speed towards it, a golden trail following behind her.
The mysterious male saw this and was confused at firstâŠbut then became intrigued very quickly.
He watched as your figure formed a pure white sword with golden lining around it. He saw you jump high in the air and slash it through all the âsensitiveâ areas of the beast. He had to admit, you wereâŠimpressive to say the least. Not as good as him of course, but maybe better than Nanami. He continued to watch you and see how effortlessly you fought. The way you used your sword as if it was your own arm, the way you ran faster than light, the way you were so determined to finish the creature once and for allâŠall of it caught the white haired man's attention. He watched as you ran right through the creature, shredding it to bits. Your body stopped in the ground, causing the ground to shake a bit. The creature began to form once again, making âyouâ smirk.
âA low life beast thinks it can take on me? Hmmmm, how very interesting.â Your voice said. You then did something that even caught the mysterious man off guard, but just for a split second of course. You dropped your sword, letting it disintegrate into tiny particles which soon surrounded you. You followed that up with placing your hands towards the center of your chest, lining your palms together, one hand facing up, the other facing down. This allowed the particles to circle around your chest area, spinning with such speed that it was beginning to look like one big circle. You then slid the upside down hand up, aligning your fingers perfectly together. Your hair started to float in the air as if gravity was non-existent. Your body began to float as well, and the cracks in your body started to emit a brighter light than there was before
The creature didnât wait, however. It began to run towards you, dead-set on killing you. It snarled loudly, rampaging towards you with great speed.
You, however, just watched it run towards you with a sinister smile.
ârun, run beast. For I will be the last thing you see before my power swallows you whole.â You said, the wind picking up around the entire area. It was so strong that the trees began to push away from you, practically bending a full 180 degrees, breaking and cracking off of their stumps. Dust devils began to form as well. You used these and pushed them towards the beast, pushing it away and twisting it around.
Finally, you swung your arms around, allowing the particles to push you further up in the sky to get a better view.
You looked down at the beast and smirked one last time before crossing your arms together. The particles began to grow larger and larger as they combined with one another.
âGood riddance, you foul beast!â You yelled, releasing all the energy you had and forcing it down towards the creature. It screeched as the light penetrated through its body, not missing one spot of darkness. Wails from the beast were all that was heard. Hundreds of miles away, you could still hear it. The light blast from your body was so bright that it looked like it was day time at 1 in the morning.
After the light diminished, the night came back once more, just as it should have.
She smiled down at the large pot hole in the ground that she created. Suddenly, she started to lose control as you began to awaken.
âAwe come on, Y/n! I barely got to play!â She said.
âYouâve done enough!â You said, fighting over your body. She rolled her eyes, smirking with a scoff.
âFine, just donât be mad at me when you wake up in the air.â She said, going back to sleep. Soon, your body turned back to normal, but there were cuts and bruises from when your other side took over.
The mysterious man watched as your body fell limp. You began to fall down towards the ground. A part of him wanted to see if you would save yourselfâŠbut he didnât want to risk the paperworkâŠso he jumped off the hill he was watching you on and lunged towards you. He grabbed your body once more and the both of you landed safely on the ground.
When the man got a good look at you, he realized you were asleep.
-Time skip-
You woke up with a pounding headache and sore body. You looked around and saw that you were in the same place you blacked out in.
âGood morning sleepy head.â A familiar voice spoke out to you. You quickly got up and saw the strange man sitting on a bench, watching you.
âHave you just been sitting there waiting for me to get up?â I questioned, making him nod his head, keeping his smile.
âI couldnât just leave you here alone now could I? What kind of sorcerer would I be then?â He said.
Suddenly, I remembered about the little boy, trying to look for him.
âRelax. The boy is back with his mother. I took him to her when you were passed out. Did you know you snore a little when you sleep by the way? Itâs kind of adorable. You looked like a little kitten when you slept.â He teased, making you stare at him with confusion.
âAllow me to introduce myself.â He said, walking towards you, offering you a hand to help you up. You took it and stood to your feet, waiting for him.
âI am Gojo Satoru. Some know me as the strongest or the best sorcerer.â He said, smiling down at you.
âL/n Y/n.â You said softly.
âWell L/nâŠyou certainly were something last night. It was truly amazing to watch you destroy that cursed creature.â He said.
âT-thank you.â Was all you could muster up to say.
âListen Y/nâŠWhat I saw last night was, well, amazing. You could truly be beneficial to our group.â He asked
âGroup? What are you implying?â I asked, making him smirk.
âWhy donât I just show you?â He said, turning on his heel and walking away from you. You took that as a sign to start following him, quickly catching up to his distance.
-some time later-
Satoru and you ended up in a beautiful area. There was so much greenery, which boosted your mood compared to before. All together, it looked like Satoru was taking you to a place that was sacred. A place that you had never seen before. He stopped abruptly, almost making you bump into him. He turned around and placed his arm out to show you where you were.
âThis is Tokyo Jujutsu High. A place where people come in to learn and train their abilities. And considering your stance in training, I think you could be a wonderful asset to our kids.â He said, watching you stare at the place in awe.
However, when he said the name, you quickly snapped out of it and asked him to repeat the name. It sounded so familiarâŠ.yet you couldnât come up with a reason as to whyâŠ.though before you could figure out why you remembered the name, you were interrupted by a group of people coming towards you.
Satoru glanced behind you, making a puzzled sound.
âAh, good! You are all here! KidsâŠ.Id like you to meet a new teacher!â He said, pointing to you, making your body stiffen.
âWhat? I didnât agree to that!â You spoke to him, making him smirk.
âOh trust me! It will be fun! You will love itâŠplus, you get to fight quite often! And based off of how you preformed last night, Iâd say that is to your liking.â He said, making the voice cheer in your head.
âY/n?â That familiar voice called out to you, making you turn around. And thatâs when it hit you. Thatâs why this name was so familiar.
âNobara!â You said happily as you two ran to each other and hugged.
It was Satoruâs turn to be confused.
âYou two know each other?â he asked, making Nobara smile.
âWe are sisters!â She said, making the group around you surprised.
You two looked nothing like each otherâŠnot to mention you two didnât have the same last name.
âAdopted sisters.â You said, taking notice of their confusion.
âOh it is so good to see you again- what happened to your body! Why is it all banged up! Was this âherâ doing?â She asked, making you smile awkwardly
âMaybe. She just got too caught up in the heat of the moment.â You said.
Satoru stared at you with confusion, unsure of what youâre saying.
You turned around and gave him an apologetic smile, knowing fully well what was on his mind.
âThereâs a lot I have to explainâŠ.especially now that youâre forcing me to become a teacher hereâŠ.â You said, slightly glaring at the blindfolded man in front of you. Suddenly, the man lost the confused face and replaced it with one of amusement.
âOh but it will be so fun! And you and I can finally hang out and travel all over Tokyo!â Nobara said, making you smile.
âI guess it wonât be too badâŠthough donât expect muchâŠI literally have no experience in training so this is going to be a trial and error situation.â You responded.
You all went through introductions afterwards and decided to go out to eat. The boy who had salmon/pink hair named Yuuji Itadori said he wanted to eat at the place that has sushi on a rotating belt where you can just grab whatever sushi you want off the conveyor belt. But your sister argued with him that it is unsanitary and that they should all go to a fancy sushi restaurant. You were honestly on Itadoriâs side. It sounded so fun to do thatâŠbut at the same timeâŠ.Nobara is your sister. And when she wants somethingâŠmost of the time she may get it. They kept arguing about it and it was getting on your nervesâŠbut you tried to suppress it. The voice, however, was ready to rip their heads off.
âCan I please smack them?â She asked in your head.
âNo! Now go back to sleep!â
âBut I can tell you are annoyed with them as well. One hit is all it takes!â
âAbsolutely not! Now go away!â You said in your head, glaring at the sky.
Satoru caught this and teased you a bit.
âWhat, mad that you canât see your forehead?â He said, making you stare up at him with confusion.
âOhâŠyou were talking about me staring up at the skyâŠâ You said, not sure what else to say.
He snickered, âYes, that is exactly what I was talking about.â He said
âOh brother, who does this guy think he is? Teasing you! Does he think he is funny?â The voice said
âWould you shut up!â You said, out loud this time.
Everyone looked at you, making you mentally slap yourself in the face.
âSorryâŠI-â
âNo worries, N/n! Itadori was annoying huh?â Your sister teased, irritating the salmon haired boy.
âMe! You were the one going on and on about how unsanitary everything is!â He complained. You finally had enough and decided to interrupt them both.
âHow about we go to this nice restaurant Iâve heard about. They do the conveyor belts, but they can also directly serve the sushi to you if you donât want to eat it off of that. Plus I hear they have some of the best desserts and snacks there.â You suggested
Everyone agreed and soon you all headed off to that restaurant, though you had to separate Itadori and Nobara because they were after each other's heads.
You sighed, but smiled a bit at these two. This was going to be a long school year.
-??? POV-
âYou are sure it is her?â A gruff male voice said.
âyes, sir. She is with a group of people as we speak. Do you want me to go in and finish business?â The younger male said.
âNoâŠnot yet. I need to come up with a plan to get her back. She is very powerful when aggravatedâŠyou would die if you did so. It's best to just come back. We will begin our plan. And soonâŠeverything will be back to normalâŠjust how you wanted it.â The gruff voice said
âUnderstood. I will be ready whenever you are ready. I only hope that we can do this soon. I donât want to fail you, sir.â the younger voice said.
âYou wonât so long as you keep doing what I tell you to. Now come back. We have work to do.â The gruff voice said, hanging up.
The younger boy looked at you with the others, conversing with one another. His jaw tensed up and his fists clenched together as he saw you.
âSoon, everything will be back to the way it was.â He said shortly before leaving into the shadows.

Hey! Look at this! I found motivation to write! It's Krile and Lizzy stuff, with minimal spoilers to MSQ! It takes place a little before Endwalker, and mentions Sharlayan locations, as well as referring to events in stormblood, so if you haven't played dawntrail yet, you're fine c:
ââIntroduction to Psychologyâ? Why, Iâve never heard of that. Whoâs the teacher? Archon...Calaxio?! Well, this must surely be interesting. Letâs ask her about it, maybe itâll be fun.â Krile speaks idly to herself as she fills out the semester sign up forms.
Later that day, she walks around Sharlayan. Finding a nice walk can be very refreshing after looking through numerous dense books. Sometimes, at night, sheâs even able to walk around with her hood down, feeling the wind flow through her hair â the chilling breeze cooling the back of her neck.
While walking near the Studium, she sees a familiar large tail rounding a corner ahead of her.
âLizzy! Hey wait!â Krile starts a light jog to catch up, as she turns the corner, she gets smacked in the face by the previously seen tail, âOW!â âOh my gosh, Iâm so sorry! This always happens, Iâm very clumsy with my tail, Iâm so so sorry, are you ok? Normally echo havers are safeâŠâ
Krile, flat on her ass, looks up at the Au Ra profusely apologizing to her, spikey black hair with red-emberish highlights on the tips stand out immediately, âUh, y-yea. Iâm ok, thank you.â
Lizzy helps her up, and Krile canât help but notice how different Lizzy looks in a professional outfit â a blue suit-coat, with black slacks and dress shoes. On her back is a set of nouliths. She grabs her tail almost like sheâs scolding it.
Lizzy adjusts her glasses, âSo whatâs up? I heard someone shout for me, Iâm assuming that was you?â
âWhy, yes! I saw youâre teaching a new class next semester, so I wanted to ask you about it. I may sign up for it.â
âOh! A-ah, well, you may or may not have heard, I got my archon mark recently. Itâs in the field of Psychology. Iâve been called a pioneer, but that kind of makes me uncomfortable. Er, uh, itâs about the mind. Mental health, as itâs called. Ah, can we uh, keep walking? If I donât make it to this meeting with OmiâŠ.â
âAre you sure itâs ok? I can do that.â she begins walking next to her, âSo, mental health?â
Lizzy brightens up immediately, âYea! So, thereâs a lot of traumatized people in eorzea, right?â
ââTraumatizedâ?â
Lizzy stops for a second, and looks introspective for a moment, âOk, right, new science. So, have you noticed that thereâs an unusual amount of people that are sad? Or like, have you ever been speaking to someone and they suddenly lash out at you for no reason?â âOh! Yea, especially when their intention wasnât to hurt me, I found it odd.â
âSo, these can be indicators of a troubled mental health. Depression is when people are so sad they canât function normally or take care of themselves, traumatized people have perceived strange behaviours, but they are easily explained by examining the root cause of it, though sometimes thereâs more complicated issues â Thatâs a lot to say, that Psychology is a study of the complexities of peopleâs minds.â
Krileâs echo gives her a bright surge of happiness and eagerness from Lizzy, âI see, that does sound interesting! Youâll be teaching it, personally, right?â Krile tries to hide a small amount of excitement. The idea of hearing Lizzy speak enthusiastically about something she enjoys for a length of time sounds absolutely delightful â at the very least, a better experience than feeling the dread and boredom from the teacher.
Lizzy stops walking for a moment, takes off her glasses and cleans them, Krile notices dark circles under her eyes, Lizzy smiles at Krile, âYea, thatâs actually why Iâm going to a meeting right now â Iâve never taught anyone in a professional setting, so Iâm hoping to learn from Omi.â
Krile senses good intentions, but⊠âOmiâŠ.Has a reputation around here, are you sure you want to learn from him?â
Lizzy nods enthusiastically, âHe taught me how to be a black mage, so I know heâs a good teacher...Even if heâs a littleâŠâ she searches for the right words, âWell, you know.â
âI do indeed. Well, I think this has convinced me â Iâll be seeing you next semester, Archon Calaxio~â Krile cringes at her own attempt at flirting.
âOf course! Itâll be relieving to see a familiar face!â Lizzy beams a very bright smile at Krile.
Thankfully, it seems sheâs immune to bad flirting. Krile decides to quickly leave before she embarrasses herself further. Though, she walks with a refreshed vigor and a light hum as she leaves.
----
The night before class starts, Krile has a dream. Sheâs trapped in a small box. She bangs on the walls, screaming until her voice goes hoarse. Her hands become bloodied and bruised from hitting the metal walls. She feels stabbing sensations at various parts of her body. She curls up, and begins to cry.
Suddenly, the box opens. A familiar spikey hair comes into view, retrieving her from the box. âKrile?!â The voice sounds desperate, scared. Her echo throbs, intense concern, mild relief, and...interest?
âKrile?! Are you ok?â
She feels a hug wrap around her.
Lizzyâs mouth near her ear, whispers, âIâm going to get you out of here. Iâll protect you.â
She wakes up, flustered. Sweating. Scared. Krile hesitates for a moment, then steels her nerves, and picks up a linkpearl.
âHeyâŠLizzy?â
----
Lizzy sits at her desk, pouring over her books of psychology, her notes about teaching from Omikhle. Her forehead reddened from her hands being pressed against it. Suddenly, a linkpearl rings, startling Lizzy and spilling her coffee over her notes. âDAMN!â
She picks up her linkpearl, keeping her voice even. She hears from the other end, âHeyâŠ.Lizzy?â
âKrile? Whatâs up, is everything ok?â
Silence follows the question for a moment, âI...had a bad dream. It felt like...when I was trapped-â Lizzy stands up and gets herself another cup of coffee, âOh no, do you want to talk about it?â
âNo, not really...Can...Can you just tell me Iâm safe?â
Lizzy stops mid-pour, âOf course.â she uses her calming magicks, hoping it works over the phone, âEverything is ok. You are safe, and secure. No one is trying to hurt you. I gave you this linkshell specifically in case you are in danger. Iâll drop everything to get to you. I told you when we rescued you, âIâll protect you.â and I mean it.â
More silence follows for another moment, her voice sounds more relaxed and even, âThank you, Elizabeth. That really helps.â
âNo need to thank me, Iâm glad I could help. I never want you to hesitate to use this, ok? Do you wanna stay talking until you fall back asleep?â
âO-oh, no, I couldnât! You gotta teach tomorrow.â
Lizzy crosses her arms, though the only one to see is Tango, âAnd you gotta learn tomorrow, I wonât let one of my students have her first day start on a bad note due to trauma based nightmares.â
â...Thank you, I...Iâd like to talk until I fall asleep.â
----
Lizzy sits at her desk as students filter out of the classroom. There was a lot more people that decided to take her class than she expected. Though, she anticipates a number of them dropping the class. She sighs with relief, and slumps down further into her chair.
âI shall become a slime, I think.â
Lizzy closes her eyes.
âI think youâd be a very smart looking slime, then.â the voice interrupts her idle thoughts.
Lizzyâs eyes pop open, spying a familiar lalafell standing next to her, âOh shit, uh, hey! You...were not supposed to hear that.â Lizzy nervously rubs the back of her neck.
Krile senses embarrassment, but places a coffee cup on the desk, âA present, for talking to me last night.â
Lizzy turns the cup, ââSharlayanâs Best Psychologistâ, itâs cute â I like the little lizzy face on it!â
Genuine happiness, Krile smiles, âYay! I was worried you wouldnât like it.â
Lizzy looks tired, âI love it, thank you, sincerely. Did you find the class interesting?â
Interest, mild concern, Krile reassures her, âI did! Iâm surprised you fit so much information into the first class. You seemed to really enjoy speaking up here, though. Itâs a bit surprising, considering your general attitude around the scions seems much quieter.â
Lizzy looks a little nervous, âAh...I mean, This is an area Iâm an expert in â and I like it a lot. Iâm always scared of saying the wrong thing around the scions.â
âWell, I donât think you should be too worried about that. You sounded brilliant, and Iâd love to hear more of yourâŠ.you...you talking about psychology!â Krile winces at the misstep.
Lizzy gives a gentle smile, âThatâs very kind of you- oh! Lemme try the coffee, I was so distracted by the cup itselfâŠâ she takes a sip, and her eyes go wide, âOH! Thatâs absolutely delicious. This fucks!â
Sincere intent, Krile is taken aback by the exclamation, and laughs a little, âWell! Iâm full glad you enjoy it! Iâm...uh, gonna go to my next class now, Iâll see you tomorrow!â she waves as she runs off.
Lizzy sits at her desk enjoying her nice cup of coffee. Now drinking her 5th cup.
After a few moments, she perks up again, âOH SHIT I HAD A MEETING WITH OMI.â and she sprints off, trying to not spill her coffee.
----
The next day, as people shuffle into Lizzyâs class, Krile notices the cup she gave her sitting on her desk â steam still coming off the surface of the coffee inside. Her mood brightens immediately, and she waves at Lizzy after she sits down. Lizzy in turn notices Krile, smiles and waves, and takes a sip of her coffee. Krile suddenly feels a flash of romantic interest towards her, causing her to smile more to herself. Playfully kicking her feet as she listens to Lizzy speak.
After class, Krile once again walks up to Lizzyâs desk, âHelloo~!â
Lizzy, mid-sip of coffee, holds up one finger to indicate that she needs a second, after she finishes, âHey Krile! How are you today?â
âWonderful! I got some very good news today.â she smiles at Lizzy.
Lizzy tilts her head inquisitively, âOh? What news?â Krile winks and holds a finger in front of her mouth, âAh, itâs a secret, canât tell.â
Lizzy gives an exaggerated frown, âAw, nothingâs worse than a secret I canât know!â
âDonât fret, donât fret, Iâm sure at some point Iâll be able to tell you.â
Lizzy goes back to drinking her coffee, before asking, âStill enjoying the class? Today was a bit more dense, and Iâm scared I may have turned some people off from the classâŠâ Krile moves closer to Lizzy and rubs her back, âOh, I donât think it was that bad. I enjoyed it quite a bit, actually! The part about uhm...How breaking a bad cycle involves actually starting new habits to build new...neural pathways?â
Lizzy gives a weak smile, and gently rests her head on Krileâs head, âThanks, at least someone paid attention. One person in the back straight up fell asleep.â she unconsciously starts rubbing her horn against Krileâs hood ears.
Krile suddenly recalls a passage she read about Au Ra and horn rubbing, and gets flustered, âM-maybe they just needed some coffee,â she gives a nervous chuckle.
Lizzy picks her head up, causing Krile to give a small internal âNooooâ, âMaybe so. I donât wanna keep you from other classes, though. Thank you for the reassurance, regardless.â
Krile nods, and waves as she walks off.
After she leaves the room, Lizzyâs forehead smacks her desk, loudly, and groans, âIâm such a dork.â
Krile chuckles a little outside the door.

The 13th Anniversary Arshi Fiesta
Moodboard : Historical AU
Whispers of the Heart | Chapter 11
I am not very good at writing ffs. I even read ffs very selectively. But it was an attempt of me to participate in the 13th-anniversary arshi fiesta.
I might be wrong about certain aspects of that age and era, but it's a fantasy, so why not? I don't own Arnav and Khushi and the story is purely fictional and has no relation to any living or dead. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental.
WARNING : MATURE CONTENT, 18+
As this chapter contains some mature/ Adult languages, I am not tagging the people I usually do as I am not sure about their preferences.
Chapter 11
They could hear the river running in the dark. His sword glistered in the firelight as she passionately worshipped the throbbing steel. Having sharped enough he swiftly impaled her causing blood to spill along her thigh. As he pricked her over and over again, sprouts of blood kept coming out of her maiden bud. She let out a brutal scream as her head kept hitting the wall repeatedly......
Scandalously, Khushi shut the book, almost flinging it to the floor as she blushed to the roots of her hair. A shudder ran through her body. What on earth had she just read? She was going to kill Sarita, that much was certain.
Earlier that day, Sarita had come over to visit her, bringing along a book she claimed would help Khushi relax and take her mind off the stress of her upcoming wedding. The cover itself didn't reveal anything about the book. Trusting her friend, Khushi had accepted the book eagerly, hoping it would provide a much-needed escape. Now, as she sat on her bed with the scandalous book in her hands, Khushi realized what a prank Sarita had played on her. The content was far from calming.
She wasn't exactly sure what the characters were doing, but from what the ladies in her household had painstakingly tried to convey over the past week, she had a vague idea. Still, this was the most explicit and gory depiction she had ever encountered. All the other books either faded to black or glossed over such details. This book made her really confused. She had never thought that act would be that scary. At least the kissing part wasn't scary. She liked that. But now she wasn't sure what to think about the other things.
As Buaji's voice reached her ears, calling her to join them, Khushi looked at the book in fear. She glanced around, desperately searching for a place to hide it. As Buaji's calls grew more insistent, she shoved the book under her pillow, hoping no one would find it there.
It was her Sagai-slash-Sagun ceremony today. The whole house was busy preparing for it. The wedding was set for the day after tomorrow. After Arnav proposed, Babuji had suggested they wait a few months to get married, giving Arnav time to settle into his new job and Khushi time to finish her semester finals. But Khushi believed it was more about Babuji wanting to confirm Arnav's sincerity. However, a month later, a telegram arrived, shattering all of Babuji's plans. It was also the first time Arnav and Khushi had a fight as a couple, if you could call it a fight. Khushi certainly did.
Arnav was away for a few days, overseeing factory production. Unable to reach him, the peon delivered the telegram to Babuji at their printing press. Babuji eventually handed it to Khushi for safekeeping. It wasnât as if she had read his message. The telegram was open, so she didn't think much before reading it.
ADVISE COMPLETE APPRENTICESHIP NO PROMOTION WITHOUT
When Arnav returned to meet Khushi, she was already sulking. The dynamic in the household had changed drastically after he proposed. Now, he couldn't talk to Khushi alone. Every conversation had to happen in the courtyard, with the entire family, especially Buaji, keeping a close watch from a distance. When he saw Khushi, he sensed something was wrong. She was unusually quiet.
"What happened, Khushi?" His arms ached to hold her, but they were being watched.
As Khushi passed him the telegram, he read it silently. Khushi tried to gauge his reaction, but he gave nothing away. After reading it, he quietly tucked it into his pocket and continued sipping his tea.
"You need to finish your apprenticeship. Just six months left to complete two years. You need at least two full years, right?"
"I am not going."
"I won't let that happen. You have to go."
"Khushi," he sighed "I don't want to be away from you for that long. I believe I can still build a decent career without it. It would certainly help. But if I go to London now, it would take about a year, maybe even longer and I can't ask you to come with me either."
"Can you, for the first time in your life, stop seeing me as a spoiled girl and see me as someone who can accompany you on your journey of life, whether it's through struggle or abundance?"
"Where's all of this coming from?"
"Why can't you see that I don't need a big, comfortable house? I can manage anywhere you live, as long as I'm with you."
"Khushi, I promised Chachu that I'll keep you comfortable. Taking you to London and putting you in that situation doesn't exactly fulfill that promise."
"What about the fact that I could never live with myself if you sacrifice your career for me? If you were to marry a normal girl...... wouldn't you bring her with you?"
The way she said 'normal' caught Arnav's attention.
"What makes you think you aren't normal? You are normal."
"That's not what I mean. I'm extremely grateful for how I've been brought up, and I don't want to sound spoiled. But everyone around me has always walked on eggshells, shielded me from harsh realities and truths, and tried to provide me with the best things. And by doing that, they've always kept me at arm's length. I've never been included in their struggles or been aware of any problems they were going through. I just wanted to be part of their pain, their struggles. Oh God, I sounded so ungrateful."
"No, you didn't".
"You've also been one of those people who've protected me my whole life. And I fear that will continue for the rest of our lives. If you face any financial, professional, or personal challenges, you'll never share them with me. You'll probably kiss me and say everything will be alright, and then you'll handle it all alone. I'll never be a true partner, who can just be there for you, even if I can't do anything else. Because you think I can't handle the truth." Khushi kept rumbling, hoping she was making sense.
"And you're doing exactly that. You knew about your apprenticeship, didn't you? Yet you cancelled it instead of asking me to wait for a few months or planning to bring me with you until you finish. Because both of these options would put me through struggles that you think I'm not designed to endure." she finished with a melancholy tone.
They both sulked some more in silence, lost in their own thoughts and emotions. Arnav sat with furrowed brows, conflicted between his desire to protect Khushi and his realization that he might unintentionally hurting her while trying to protect her.
"Will you come with me if I ask?" Khushi didn't really need to answer that question. She would have followed him to the end of the world.
So, there they were, two days before their wedding. Arnav had an uncanny ability to persuade Babuji to do anything he wished. Khushi wondered if Arnav was aware of his influence over Babuji before.
The last few days had been strange, to say the least. Her family didn't let her meet Arnav at all, with their wedding just a week away. On the other hand, Buaji had been after her all week to teach her the etiquettes of marriage."Khushi, he will be your husband, stop calling him by his name," she would say. "Humne dekha hai tumne sabke samne kya kiya. Shaadi ke baad aise chipak ke mat rehna, log kya kahenge?"
Then there was her tiresome and futile attempt at the birds and the bees talk.
One afternoon a few days ago, Khushi was summoned to Buaji's room. Mahumati Ji had been given a task. As her mother and the wife of two other elder brothers, one of them being the groom's younger sister, it was deemed inappropriate for them to have 'the talk' with Khushi. So, only Mahumati Ji was left to carry out this task. She had advised everyone else to stay away, only Payal was present so that Khushi didn't get nervous.
"Suno, Sanka Devi, you are getting married in a few days, so your Amma asked me to have this talk with you." Mahumati Ji blushed deeply, she went pink to deep red to purple in a minute but she was determined to finish her entrusted task.
"Tum thoda sa sah lena, haan, bitiya. Aur hamare sanskaar ka thoda lihaaz bhi rakh lena, koi awaaz mat karna. You need to be very strong and just bear with it, okay, bitiya?" Mahumati Ji said with evident discomfort and fear on her face, pleading with Khushi to somehow understand everything magically.
"What?" Mahumati ji's fear was reflected in Khushi's eyes.
"Whatever happens, you know, after the wedding, in your Suhagraat. Areey, baat ko samjho, Nandkishor."
"Accha, yeh baat. Aap to aise suna rahe ho jaise koi darawani kahani ho." Khushi said, letting out a relieved breath. "By the way, Buaji, how do you know what happens on Suhagraat? You've never been married." Hayre Nandkishor, Mahumati Ji kept chanting in her head.
"Is that why you never married, Buaji? Because you got scared?" asked a confused Khushi, sending Payal into a series of giggles, both earning a glare from Mahumati Ji.
"What are you talking about? I don't fear anything. I didn't marry because I wanted to devote my whole life to my Nand Kishor," Mahumati Ji said firmly.
"Oh, accha. But, Buaji, I don't think the suhagraat activities will be that scary, you know. Many people surely do it and do it repeatedly," Khushi mused to herself.
"Hayre Nand kishor!" Buaji exclaimed, grabbing her head with both hands, "Who put that into your head? Is it Arnav? Is he the one who told you that?"
"Buaji, relax. Arnav didn't need to tell me that. I have my own brain, you know. Lots of people get married every day and lots of babies are born. Clearly, people do it quite often. And I haven't seen anyone run away after marriage either. Amma didn't, nor did Payal Bhabhi or Anjali Bhabhi," Khushi kept talking animatedly.
"I've only seen people running away to marry someone else and do suhagraat again. It can't be that scary, Buaji. Right?" Khushi said, looking at Buaji expectantly. At this point, Khushi was babbling out of nerves and fear, repeating the same thing in her mind over and over to keep herself from getting scared at the same time. Buaji wasnât helping her at all. Meanwhile, Payal Bhabhi's breathless giggles had turned into full-blown snickers. She pressed her hands to her mouth to prevent herself from laughing out loud.
Exasperated, Buaji took a deep breath, "Ji, you have to call him Arnav Ji from now on. And stop working your brain and listen to me. I guess he will know what to do, so just let him do what he wants, okay? Iske aage mein aur kuch nahi keh sakti. Manorama, mujhse yeh nahi hoga. Hai re Nandkishor, aaj kal ki ladkiyaan."
Buaji walked out of the room, calling for her Amma and leaving Payal and Khushi alone. Payal took Khushi's hand gently. She craned her head to ensure Buaji wasn't returning before asking, "Have you ever seen a naked baby boy Khushi?
A dumbfounded Khushi nodded her head as Payal continued, "We have a hole from where we bleed every month. That thing will go in there". Khushi looked at her sister-in-law with wide eyes and gulped visibly. To ease her nerves, Payal leaned in and whispered reassuringly, "It hurts the first time, but it gets better after that."
Seeing no change in Khushi's demeanour, Payal panicked, fearing she had scared Khushi for good. "Look at me, Khushi," her voice frantic. "You like it when Arnav ji touches you, right?" Khushi's cheeks flushed red, "And you'll also like it when he will touch you on that night. Just think about that, forget about everything else, okay?" Payal said softly, cupping Khushi's cheek. "And you're right, it's not as scary as it seems," and the two sisters-in-law dissolved into a fit of shy giggles.
Another one of Buaji's hollers jolted Khushi out of her reverie and she prayed that it wouldn't be another session like that. With a sigh, she descended the stairs to respond to Buaji's call.
"Haan, Buaji, aapne bulaya?"
"Haan, Nank Kishor, look, the saree has arrived for you to wear this evening, it's your favorite color, green."
Khushi's face lit up upon seeing that beautiful emerald green saree with a red border. Delicate embellishments of gold thread adored the edges that sparkled in the light.
"Khushi will glow in that saree, you'll see, Buaji," Anjali said, hugging Khushi affectionately from the side.
Khushi did indeed glow as Arnav pinned her to the wall of her bedroom with his hand on both sides of her head as he managed to sneak into her room amidst all the festivities of that evening. Her chest rose and fell rapidly with her laboured breathing due to the effect of having him so close. Arnav kissed her on the forehead first. Slowly, he traced a path down her face, placing gentle kisses on her eyelids, the bridge of her nose, and her blushed cheeks before reaching his desired destination. As his lips touched the corner of her mouth, a surge of desire welled within him. His hand, previously braced against the wall, now found its way to her waist, drawing her closer. And that's when the trouble started. Wherever he touched, he felt her bare skin, her waist, her back. It threatened Arnav to lose control. Cornering a saree-clad Khushi in a dimly lit room, where they could be interrupted at any moment, was a bad idea, Arnav realized belatedly.
He closed his eyes and rested his forehead against hers. Khushi's hand lightly laid on his chest, feeling his heartbeat fluttering under her palm. He knew he couldn't kiss her now. If he did, he wouldn't be able to stop only at kissing. And their absence would soon be noticed by everyone. Khushi opened her eyes as she felt him pull away. In response to the question in her eyes, Arnav asked softly, "Have you heard the saying, Khushi?" He brought his lips to her ear and lightly kissed over her earring, then whispered, "Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai." Arnav smirked as he watched his already blushing fiancee blushed even harder.
"Come here, I have something for you," he said, taking her hand and guiding her to sit on the bed. As Arnav cleared a space for her to sit, a book with a black cover slipped out from under her pillow.
"What are you reading these days?" he asked, opening the book to Khushi's utter horror. She lunged at him to snatch the book away, but Arnav, being taller, held it out of her reach. His curiosity piqued by her reaction. Khushi huffed in defeat and sat down. As Arnav found out the content of the book his fiancée was reading, the only thought in his mind was, 'This girl will be the death of me.'
Khushi wished there was a hole in the floor into which she could disappear. She had never felt such mortification in her entire life. She felt Arnav sit beside her. She avoided his gaze by keeping her head down. Eventually, she couldn't help but smile as she looked up. To her surprise, Arnav was smiling back at her warmly, his expression filled with adoration instead of the mocking she had feared.
"There's nothing wrong with being curious."
Then he gently grabbed Khushi's knee and turned her whole body toward him, guiding her to sit on the bed with her feet resting between them. Then he retrieved a pair of payal from his pocket and tied them around her ankles one by one.
"You've been without wearing one for so long."
"Then why haven't you brought one earlier? You knew when they broke."
"Um... I want to keep my father's surname along with yours."
"Better late than never, Khushi," he smiled at her lovingly. "So, soon-to-be Mrs. Khushi Singh Raizada..." She placed her hand over his mouth to silence him.
"Okay, psst... that will be a long name. So, soon-to-be Mrs. Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada. After tomorrow, you can't leave me for seven lifetimes. Any final wishes?"
"Since when did you start to believe in those things?"
"I don't, but I like that 'you-not-leaving-me-forever' part."
"It goes both ways, you know."
As Arnav and Khushi got lost in each other's eyes, Khushi suddenly realized that Arnav hadn't returned her the book.
"Give that book back!" she almost shrieked.
"I don't think so".
"Aap aisa nahi kar sakte."
"Main aisa kyun nahi kar sakta?"
"No, Arnav, give it back," she kept trying.
"I was thinking I'll give it a try tonight. These are nice books. I haven't read one in a very long time." Arnav chuckled.
"You've read one before!!!" she said, surprised, as if it were a secret.
"Is the idea of me reading one so offensive?"
"No," she smiled shyly, enjoying their shared secret. "But that book is mine. you can't have it. I haven't finished reading it yet," she said, feeling bolder with each word. " Give it to me, Arnav, Please," she whispered innocently and unknowingly transported Arnav into another universe where she might say those words in different circumstances.
Arnav's mind was indeed in the gutter today. He looked away to calm his racing thoughts. Then chuckled softly as he placed the book in her palm. 'That girl will surely be the death of me,' Arnav thought to himself as he slipped out of her room unnoticed.
