I was just reminded of a manga called There's No Way I'm The Protagonist (it's quite fun; I recommend it) and then of course I thought to myself what it would be like if it was about Zoro and Sanji.
Some college students think that Nami and Zoro are dating. They're rumored to be childhood friends, and they're clearly very close. Zoro is this cool and mysterious man with scars who rarely talks to anyone, and Nami is a sweet woman and a top of her class student. Plus, they're both extremely attractive. It's almost like they came out of a romance novel. And Sanji loves romance novels. He loves watching people in love, and he often makes up various scenarios in his head with lots of tender moments.
One day, Sanji is forced to move out of his flat and when he goes to greet the neighbours in his new place, he finds out he lives right next to Zoro. At first, he's excited about it, but then he learns what that marimo is really like. He's a rude, sword-obsessed musclehead. And when he sees a bunch of empty take out boxes, he snaps, because how dare he do that to his body? He should take better care of himself! He decides to share the meals he cooks with Zoro and marimo agrees because it's free and delicious food. Eventually, they end up spending a lot of time with each other, and they rather quickly become friends.
After a few weeks, Sanji finally gets to properly meet Nami... who's also not what she seems. She can be childish and quick to anger, and she's money-obsessed. Despite that, Sanji still finds her charming. Both she and Zoro may have their own flaws, but they're good people. They may bicker a lot, but they suit each other, Sanji thinks to himself as he observes their interactions. So his shipping continues. He really roots for them because he wants his friends to be happy.
Imagine his surprise when, one day, Zoro confesses his feelings for him. And in his shock, he agrees to date him.
#I think it kinda suits Sanji#he's always so oblivious to others' feelings towards him#and he's usually the one doing the courting so being courted makes his brain stop working#when Zoro tells Nami about their relationship she's clearly upset#at first Sanji thinks it's jealousy so he thinks about ways how to end this relationship#but with time it gets harder to do it. He seriously falls for Zoro#it turns out later on that Nami was worried Sanji wouldn't take this relationship seriously and end up hurting Zoro#she's actually a lesbian and in love with Vivi#she never corrected anyone when someone assumed she was with Zoro because she wanted to be left alone

trying so hard - luffy x f!reader
fluff, very slight angst
summary in request, luffy tries very hard to be a good boyfriend to you, with a little advice from sanji which he fails at miserably. distressed, you comfort him and assure him that he’s the perfect partner
contains: some brief mentions of luffy being in emotional distress
words: 2.9k
_______________________________
He loves you. He wants you to know he loves you, so desperately, and what he knows best is touching, cuddling. He’s attached to you always, warm arms, gentle kisses, he sleeps with you every night all wrapped around your body with his face against yours. Luffy, at first, didn’t understand why he wanted to touch you so much. The feeling was overpowering, deep, he woke up every morning with his mind and soul in your arms, touch was forever, an ocean for him. But with that indescribable joy a hug can bring, there’s something else, it tugs at him, and with his kisses on your cheeks and your laughs and your smile he understands what he loves more than anything in the world.
He wants to make you happy.
He likes it when you smile, which is good because you often do that around him, but he wants to make you even happier like those princes in the books Robin reads to him, he wants to spoil you and get you gifts and be romantic and be a boyfriend from a fantasy, and he isn’t really sure if he knows how. He wants to marry you someday, he isn’t really sure what that means.
He knows, vaguely, that Sanji is an expert in these things, which Luffy finds mystifying. He’s heard Sanji talk about women all the time, a topic he doesn’t care about much. Luffy loves you, only you, he thinks you’re the most beautiful girl in the world in a way he hasn’t thought about anyone else, ever. So he doesn’t understand Sanji’s lust and he finds the whole thing confusing and boring. But not when it’s about you, Luffy can talk about you for a million hours. Which Sanji hates, he’s happy for both of you but so, so jealous.
Luffy isn’t threatened by the way Sanji treats you, only amazed. Sanji does all these things that Luffy would never think to do, holding doors and cleaning for you and calling you such formal, flowery names. And food, that amazes him most of all.
Luffy is especially keen when it comes to food. He likes to watch Sanji make dinner, he likes to have meals with you and watch you eat. He doesn’t care about politeness or looking good around you when he eats, he just appreciates affection and closeness. But oh, Sanji makes you the most wonderful things. Perfectly arranged desserts, expensive and tastefully cut meats and cheeses, colorful drinks in decorated lacquerware that Luffy has never seen before. Past the jealousy of wanting this food for himself, Luffy recognizes how much these gestures mean to you. You’re so joyful. You thank him and you smile.
You smile.
Luffy wants to make you smile too.
So, now determined, Luffy fully believes that Sanji has every answer he needs about how to treat a girl, how to make a girl smile.
____________________________
Luffy is sitting on the counter and kicking his legs, watching Sanji fry some apples for dessert. And Sanji is a bit annoyed but he lets him, knowing Luffy loves this sort of thing so much, the smells and the fresh leftover batter he’ll get to eat, Sanji never has to worry about wasting food.
But this breathy humming means Luffy has something on his mind and doesn’t know how to say it. Kicking the cabinets aimlessly, picking at the silverware, he’s not good at words.
And after a few minutes and a quiet sigh from Sanji, Luffy finally blurts out, “hey, can ya teach me how to be a boyfriend?” and looks expectant, head tilted.
“For [name]-san? Huh, you’ve got a lot to learn.” Sanji’s voice is frustrated, quiet. “You don’t know how to treat a lady.”
“Yeah. I wanna be good at it.” And he sounds so genuine that Sanji has no choice but to help. He turns off the oven, turns to his captain, huffs and crosses his arms.
“You need to learn respect, Luffy, and politeness. Compliment her, give her gifts, kiss her-” Sanji’s eyes turn up a bit and he seems lost in a fantasy despite his upset, but before his extensive and endless list goes on forever he’s loudly interrupted.
“Ooh! I kiss her alll the time. She taught me how and we’re both so good at it-” Luffy’s smile grows bigger and bigger and now it’s Sanji’s turn to interrupt.
He shouts in jealousy and gives Luffy a swift kick, knocking him off the counter. He’s had enough, he doesn’t want to know this.
“Heyy! What didja do that for?” Luffy’s lack of self-awareness is not what Sanji needed, but it’s time to relent.
His anger isn’t enough to take over his instinct, to help this beautiful girl feel happy and respected. He’s going to help, his captain needs an expert teacher.
“Mmh, I like how you make her food, I can’t cook real good, though.” Luffy’s voice breaks through Sanji’s thoughts, he’s still looking up from where he’s sprawled on the ground, unswayed.
Another huff from Sanji, more determined. “I’ll make her meals, you’ll bring them to her.”
“Ohh, like my leftovers after I eat, cause I don’t got a lot of those but I can save some…”
Sanji is confused and exasperated at Luffy’s lack of simple understanding, snapping, “No! You don’t touch meals meant for a lady, it’s only for [name]-san, the worst thing you can do is touch a woman’s food.”
Disappointed, but trying so hard. “I can bring her those apples you’re makin’? Does she like apples?”
“Of course she does. She likes them with sugar and cinnamon, thinly sliced, stewed until soft. She enjoys a powdered sugar garnish, with drops of honey.”
“Wow. You know a lot, heh…” Luffy’s eyes are on the apples, they’re bubbling, he likes when they bubble. “They gonna be done soon?”
“Patience is a principle of good cooking.” Sanji seems a little drained, but hell, this day has now become [name]’s for him.
Smells so good. Especially at the end. Warm to the touch even though Sanji slaps his hand away and says Luffy isn’t allowed to put his fingers anywhere near those apples. And he can’t drop the plate. And he can’t let them get cold. And he can’t, no matter what, taste a single one, not the sugar, not the honey, nothing. Nothing is for him.
____________________________
You’re in the bathroom when Luffy finds you. You’re doing your hair for the day, very carefully because this is a nice day and you like to look good for nice days. But Luffy isn’t allowed in right now because he likes to touch your hair and mess it up and he burns his hands on the curling iron.
Even though Luffy is calling to you from outside the door and saying something about apples.
To which you’re kind, you tell him it won’t take long, he whines in frustration and sits down with the plate on his lap.
He fidgets. He’s impatient. He doesn’t know what to do right now but oh my god does he want to touch those apples.
He takes minutes of restraint. Ignoring the smell and looking out the porthole and biting his lip to occupy his mouth.
But a touch won’t hurt, right?
His hands are probably clean enough. They aren’t quite as sweaty today as normal, it’s alright.
They’re so smooth, so fun to touch, like a warm kitten or your cheeks when they’re hot from blushing.
But it makes him want to taste them and his stomach hurts so bad. One won’t hurt, right?
It’s more than one, in just a couple minutes. But guilt tugs at his heart, what did he do? Is this going to make you sad? It doesn’t taste so good anymore. He rubs his hands into the apples, squishing them, he’s trying to spread them out so it looks like there’s more on the plate. He knows he’s done something really bad. He’s stressed.
What would help? Probably an apple slice.
So when you come out of the bathroom Luffy’s head is down in embarrassment and there’s only one little slice left on the plate. And melted cinnamon on his hands and mouth.
“Sanji made you apples. I brought ‘em to ya.” His voice is small when you sit down next to him.
“That’s really nice Lu.” And then you laugh a little bit at him, but stop when you see he doesn’t feel good, you pet his hair and wipe his sticky lips with your thumb. You’re charmed by the thought, at least.
“That was nice of you guys.” You take the slice and eat it, making sure he sees you smile, and then you put your arms around him and pull him in for a kiss, which makes him happy.
He tastes like fried apples.
____________________________
So here he is again sitting on the kitchen counter, humming. Sanji can tell something happened.
“I brought the apples to her but I ate most of ‘em… I’m sorry,” Luffy admits.
Sanji gasps in indignation and slams down his spoon, turning, fire in his eyes. “You did the one thing, the only thing you weren’t supposed to do.”
Luffy’s so sad now.
“You don’t deserve her.” Sanji feels mean, dejected.
“I love her so much! Please, Sanji, please help me more! I’m gonna be better!” Luffy’s voice shakes a little and the poor, jealous Sanji can’t give up, he won’t.
“Bring her flowers. All ladies like flowers. We’re docking at an island for supplies, make a bouquet of flowers and give it to her, she likes white roses and baby’s-breath.”
Luffy doesn’t know what a bouquet is, or what baby’s-breath could possibly mean, but he’s seen Sanji give lots of girls flowers and it doesn’t seem so hard. He’s excited again.
____________________________
There’s lots of fields here which is paradise for Luffy because there must be so, so many flowers. Before dinner he’s going to pick you a lot and maybe tie them with a ribbon like Sanji does. He doesn’t know a lot about flowers but he thinks they’re real pretty things. He runs off to look as soon as his ship hits land.
He doesn’t know what to pick but, in clusters on top of a sunny hill, he sees the most perfect ones that you’ll love so much. They’re fluffy and white, delicate, he’s never seen anything quite so pretty. He picks as many as he can, cursing as they come apart in his clumsy hands, but soon they’re as good as they’ll get in a neat little bunch in his fist and he completes them with a blue ribbon, he doesn’t know how to tie a bow but he gets them together well enough.
You’re putting together your day bag when he finds you, catching you before you head into town for some food. Your name is yelled excitedly and here’s your Luffy coming towards you, holding something, so happy and confident.
“Hi, Lu! Do you have a present?” You’re too distracted by his eyes, too distracted to see all those “flowers.”
“Mhm! I was out all afternoon making a.. uh.. “bouquet,” right? And I thought these were so pretty and you can keep ‘em in your room!”
He shoves them at you and they burst into a thousand tiny seeds that dance in the air and come at you in waves and clouds and you cough, quickly covering your face, they’re sticking to your dress and your hair and falling into your bag, burying themselves in your blankets, permeating the room.
Luffy’s face falls. Your gift is all gone, he doesn’t understand what happened.
“Oh… dandelions.” You aren’t mad at him, this was so sweet, but you just swept your cabin yesterday and now look. Now it’s filled with little winged seeds.
“Sorry… I didn’t think they were gonna do that.” He’s trying to scoop up the white fluff, he wants you to get something pretty.
“It’s ok, don’t worry about it.” You adjust his hat and hold his hand gently, “I was just about to go into town and get some dinner, you wanna come? We can eat and then go pick some flowers together, does that sound fun?”
“Oh, oh yeah!” He’s ginning again. “We can eat a lotta food and do ya think there’s gonna be more of those dandelion things out there?” He pulls your hand, he wants to go right now and have a fun day.
“Mhm! I think there’s… a lot of them out there.”
____________________________
Sanji is beyond frustration when he hears about the dandelions. Luffy gave a lady weeds, got seeds all over her bed, how could he be so clueless? How didn’t he know what he held?
“You’re hopeless!” He groans in near defeat. He’s done with his captain, who only means well but can’t do anything right. Sanji curses to himself and he’s lost in a little daydream about how much better he’d treat you if you were his, and he’s only snapped back to reality by Luffy coming in to give Sanji an apologetic, unwanted hug.
“God, Luffy, you smell bad! Have you been hugging [name]-san like that? When’s the last time you took a bath?”
“Don’t remember…” There he goes, trying to bury his face in Sanji’s chest and Sanji wants literally anything other than that right now. But even he sees how sweet your boyfriend is, how loving, how much he wants to make you happy.
“Listen, this is what you can do for her. Go take a bath. You can even… ugh… use my soap. It’s in the cabinet, rosemary. And make sure to clean yourself everywhere. But don’t you dare touch Nami-san’s bath products!”
“Heh, ok! [name]’s gonna like it if I smell real good? And this means I can cuddle her after, right?” His eyes are huge, hopeful.
“I guess so.” Sanji looks away. But he pats Luffy’s back, encouraging, thinking that it’s possible, Luffy could be a good boyfriend, he better be.
This is all Luffy needs to sprint to the bathroom.
____________________________
You’re out on the deck, it’s getting late, you’re watching the stars and wearing Nami’s night shirt. It’s so beautiful tonight, you’re hoping Luffy comes here soon, you love him.
And he’s coming. But he smells different, not that familiar musky scent. You think it’s Sanji at first he smells so much like him but wet sandals clack on the deck and he’s stumbling a little he’s so eager to get to you.
“Hey, [name], I took a bath, I smell good, huh? Can we please cuddle now?”
You see soaked hair and dripping clothes and before you have time to pull away you’re scooped into a tight, wet hug. A rosemary hug that soaks through Nami’s nice shirt and makes you cold against the night air.
He forgot to dry off, he was so excited to come hold you.
But god, that’s so sweet.
“Mhm, you smell really good! But you’re a little wet, hun…” you hug him back despite the discomfort.
He blushes in shame. He was, wasn’t he. How could he forget something so simple? How didn’t he notice? Was he making you cold and uncomfortable? His hold is loosening around your back, he’s almost holding back tears.
He just wants to be a good boyfriend. He just wants to show you how indescribably deep his love goes. He wants you to be happy and comfortable always and he doesn’t want you to be sad and he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to you, ever.
And as his hug disappears, yours tightens, you’re not letting him get away. This is your baby. Hold him so he doesn’t cry.
“Shh… it’s ok, Lu. I said you smell good, didn’t I? It’s ok, please don’t worry.” You’re trying to rub his back and be as gentle as you can possibly be.
“I’m no good at this stuff.” A strained, little voice against your neck.
“At what? At being my boyfriend?”
“Yeah…”
“No, no, you’re perfect.” You wipe wet hair away from his eyes and hurriedly give him a hundred kisses on his cheek. Don’t cry don’t cry don’t cry, Luffy. “You’re the most perfect boyfriend in the whole world. Please don’t say that, ok?”
“Sanji told me I’m no good. I jus’ wanna make you happy…” he tries to lean away from your kisses but he likes them too much.
“Sanji doesn’t know anything.” You laugh, you imagine Luffy sitting there and getting advice from that jealous, idiot cook. “You make me happy every day. You know, you’re the first thing I think about when I wake up and I dream about you every night. I would hold you for the rest of my life if I could. I love you so, so much. Everything you do is perfect, you don’t need to do anything else, you make me happy by just… being in the world. You don’t need to change, I’m already gonna be in love forever.” And you kiss him, a long kiss as you cup his face and you feel his muscles release. He tastes a little like soap, did he wash his mouth, too? You try not to worry about that right now, you just want to kiss him.
And he smiles, kissing you back. “I love ya. You’re my everything, darlin’. Not gonna let you go, ‘kay?”
This sweetheart. You’re in his lap now, squeezed so hard. That breeze turns into wind, salt on your skin, adoring hands on your skin.
“Let’s go get you a towel and some warm clothes. Then we can see about that cuddling, sound good?”
He laughs and presses his nose against yours, overjoyed at just existing in this one moment and getting to touch you and taste your smile. “Yeah, c’mon.” He picks you up, cradling you, he isn’t letting you go for the world.

Law doesn’t like the way that damned cook looks at you.
No, he doesn’t like the way Sanji looks at you as you and the rest of the crew sit aboard the deck of the Sunny, joining the Strawhats for an impromptu feast—Sanji's eyes are practically bulging out of his head, curly eyebrows raised to the heavens when you so much as smile in his direction. And Law sure as hell doesn’t like the way Sanji talks to you, either, practically salivating as he coos and calls you his sweet mellorine and his darling and his angel. It’s enough to make Law’s stomach churn, roiling with resentment at the way that stupid lovesick cook acts like you’re already his possession.
But it isn’t like Law has any claim to you—not now, anyway.
One day, he tells himself again and again: one day he’ll tell you how he feels, how you make his pulse race and his stomach tie itself in knots when you’re near, how your touch electrifies his skin when you graze his hand at breakfast, how he’s slowly starting to worry he can no longer remain professional around you. You’re all he thinks about as he sits at his desk trying to read and all he dreams about as he lies awake in bed at night, his sweet distraction and his unhealthy obsession, lingering in the shadows of every conscious thought.
Maybe it’s the ale, or maybe it’s the painful flames of want stoked by watching Sanji salivate over you, but something compels Law to stand and stalk over to you, wordlessly grabbing your wrist when Sanji’s back is turned and drag you off to the kitchen. And it’s that impulse—that burning ache that builds inside him every time you smile, that insatiable need that grows when he feels your body heat radiating against his when you sweetly ask for help in the engine room during your late shifts—that has him grabbing you and hoisting you onto the kitchen counter, suppressing a groan as a surprised yelp leaves your lips.
His shaking hands settling on your shoulders and his eyes flit over your face, looking for the inevitable signs of rejection, of fear, of anything that will tell him to stop, that he’s made a terrible mistake and there’s no way that you want him the way he wants you. He must have misread every touch that lingered too long, and every smile that felt like it was meant only for him, and—
“Captain?”
Law’s accelerated thoughts come to a halt at the word, your voice quiet and almost pleading. Your teeth drag over your lower lip and he watches your chest rise and fall with a deep breath.
“Captain,” you repeat, this time with something he could almost mistake for desire laced through the word, “did you want something?”
The answer comes abruptly as Law leans forward, his mouth crashing against yours, hard and fast. You let out a small gasp as his hand settles at your waist, fingers digging into your softness, the other sliding to the back of your neck, keeping you still as his tongue parts your eager lips. He tries to be gentle, to give you the sweetness and tenderness you deserve, but a feverish desire overtakes him and he practically devours you whole right there in the darkened kitchen.
Teeth nip at your lower lip, breaking the tender skin until you can taste iron; he soothes it with his warm, wet tongue, apologizing with more devastating kisses that leave your lips swollen and throbbing. He’s urged on by the little sighs and moans that tumble out of you as he bites and sucks at your jaw, leaving marks down your neck, a trail of pleasurable pain that ends at your exposed shoulders. It takes everything in Law to hold himself back, to keep himself from taking what he wants—what you both wanthere and now, claiming you as his like he’s dreamt of for so long. He pulls away from you, just now noticing that your trembling hands are gripping his biceps, one leg wrapped around his waist, keeping him nestled between your thighs.
“Is that—was that okay?” Law whispers through shaking breaths, anxiously analyzing your expression. It’s a little late to ask for permission, but he’s ready to beg for forgiveness if you so much as twitch in a way that says he was mistaken about your feelings.
“It was definitely okay,” you smile, raising a hand to his face, stroking the hollow of his cheek with your thumb. “Maybe we could do more of that when we get back to the ship?”
Law nods, unable to form so much as a “yes” as a heady mix of relief and yearning and anticipation course through him. You want him and you want more of him, and it’s like a fucking drug in his veins to feel wanted like this, to feel desired the way he desires.
You suck in air through your teeth as you touch your lower lip, then your neck, already feeling the bruises blooming and the bite marks swelling. “Law, can’t you—can’t you do something about this?”
He looks at you blankly as he helps you down from the counter. “How so?”
“Can’t you just, I dunno, ‘shambles’ these away?" You laugh and offer him a sheepish grin. "I can’t go back out there like this.”
“My powers don’t work like that,” he says flatly as he kisses your forehead, almost believing the lie himself. “Besides, they’re barely noticeable.”
“You think?”
“Yeah. No one will know.”
Law smirks as he places a hand on the back of your neck, squeezing you gently until you make the sweetest little groan, and he guides you out of the kitchen and back to the deck. In a little while, he’ll quietly fix the bites and the little bits of broken skin on your lip, and redistribute the blood that pools in places under your skin, probably without you even noticing once you’ve had another cup of sake or two.
But not until he makes good and sure that damned love cook gets a good, long look at you and understands that you will never be his to take.

Law isn’t liking all of the attention on you during a party with the Straw Hats.
Warnings: smut, fem reader, the very first Law smut I wrote so I can't promise that it's very good lol
Originally posted on July 22nd, 2022
repost from my main @jadedrrose as a part of my most popular fics event.
It’s not like you were intentionally doing this, but you simply loved the way Law was reacting to all the attention on you.
—
Because of the alliance, Luffy had demanded that Law and the Heart Pirates come on to the Thousand Sunny for a party. While Law was reluctant to do so, the rest of the crew was thrilled and jumped ahead, leaving their captain with no choice. You’d picked out a nice sundress to wear, and began heading up to where the ship was docked with Law.
Once arriving, you tried to convince Law to socialize, but he refused, sitting on a crate away from everyone. Chopper had noticed the fellow doctor and brought him some onigiri, which Sanji had prepared just for Law.
“Oh, (Name)! I think Robin and Nami wanted to see you,” the reindeer told you.
“Really? Where are they at?” You asked.
Chopper turned around to look at the party, not quite noticing them for a moment… until…
“I see them! At the far end of the table!”
You followed Chopper’s words and looked in said direction, seeing the two women laughing and being served some drinks by Sanji.
“You won’t get too lonely without me, will you?” You teasingly asked Law.
He promptly rolled his eyes and gestured for you to go. With a grin, you gave him a sneaky kiss on the cheek and ran off.
Once you’d sat down with the girls, Sanji had thrown his arms up in delight at your arrival.
“(Name)-swan! I’m so glad you joined us!”
As fast as he had turned excited, he then became …serious?
“Tell me, what do you want to eat? I’ll make anything for you.”
“Oi, back off Sanji! You know she’s with somebody.” Nami interjected.
“Somebody who doesn’t look too pleased right now,” Robin chuckled.
You giggled, waving them off. “Don’t worry, it’s fine. Hmm… how about (favorite food)?”
“Of course! I’ll go start it now!” Sanji yelled, dashing off to the kitchen.

That was the first line crossed for Law. While he didn’t necessarily hate Sanji, the guy sure was pissing him off right now. The way he bent over backwards for you, doing anything to please you despite knowing you belonged to Law. Taking a rather aggressive bite out of his food, Law huffed.
“Captain… are you alright?”
Law turned to see Bepo standing beside him, looking concerned.
“Don’t worry about it, Bepo. Go have fun.”
“B-but captain! You seem… upset!”
“I said don’t worry about it!” Law sternly told him off.
This was no good. That meant that people were going to notice him… his jealousy.
Law didn’t want to admit it, but he was jealous, wasn’t he? But it was silly. It’s not like Sanji was doing anything too odd.
But then Law looked up, seeing Zoro now sitting next to you, throwing an arm over your shoulders and offering you some of whatever expensive drink the pirate had.
“Mmm no thanks, I’m alright,” you told the green haired man.
Then Sanji came out with your food. “Hey! Mosshead! Back off, I’m the one who’s gonna impress her!”
“Oh quit it you two!” Nami yelled, “she isn’t impressed by anyone. She’s with Law for crying out loud!”
Sanji then put the plate of your favorite food down in front of you, grinning from ear to ear.
“Oh, this looks really good!” You exclaimed. “Thank you, Sanji.”
“Of course! You’re welcome, (Name)-swan!”
—
Law couldn’t take it any more. Seeing red now, he got up from his spot and stomped straight over to where you were sitting with the girls, surrounded by the two annoying men. You smirked a little, knowing what he was up to.
“Look! Now he’s actually pissed,” Nami complained.
“Oi, (Name),” Law called out to you.
Sanji launched himself back, screaming in terror. Zoro simply sighed, walking away altogether.
“I have something… to talk to you about,” Law informed you, “come with me.”
Rolling your eyes, you told the girls you were sorry and got up to follow Law. He lead you all the way to the edge of the Thousand Sunny, pretty much out of sight before saying;
“Room.”
You watched the blue dome surround you, and suddenly…
“Shambles.”
You were then in Law’s office. He must’ve swapped the two of you out for a pencil or something small and unobvious.
You turned to Law, who was huffing and glaring at the floor, clenching his fists.
“Law? What did you need to talk to me about?”
“What’s wrong with you?” He asked, “letting those idiots be all over you? Really?”
You frowned, “I was just… trying to be nice. I didn’t want to upset Sanji by turning down his food and… Zoro just kinda put himself there-“
“So you should’ve shoved them off!”
Now you were getting mad. “Really, Law? Shove away the people who let us onto their ship, eat their food and enjoy their party? That’s just rude.”
Law sighed, turning away from you.
“Don’t tell me… you’re jealous!” You accused him.
He scoffed, “oh please… that’s… ridiculous.”
But you didn’t miss the way his face turned red when you said those words, even if he had been turned away. You could see him very clearly through the reflection of the circular window.
“Aw, Law… if you were just jealous, you could’ve said so and I would’ve come sit with you. Maybe even on your lap to show ‘em who I belong to,” you purred.
You heard his breath hitch, and without any warning, he grabbed you and pushed you against the desk, sliding a hand up your dress, all the way up to your breasts. He pinched your right nipple harshly, biting into your neck, marking you.
“Don’t fucking say that, (Name)-ya. You’re gonna drive me insane.”
You giggled, letting out a quiet moan when he pinched you again. “Maybe I shouldn’t have worn panties to that party. Or maybe I should’ve flashed you, hm?”
Then there was a harsh slap on your ass, causing you to cry out.
“Quit saying shit like that. You’re such a perverted little slut, aren’t you?”
He then slid his hand down to your panties, moving them aside and feeling how wet you were.
“You’re turned on by all that, aren’t you? If I had joined you at that table and fingered you underneath it, you would’ve gladly come on my fingers and even thanked me after, wouldn’t you?
“Y-yes, Law. I’m such a dirty whore,” you moaned.
Another smack. “What’s that? Couldn’t hear you,” he teased.
“I’m such a dirty whore, Law! Your dirty little slut.”
A finger slid into your cunt. “You’re so filthy minded that you would’ve loved it if I had thrown you onto that table and fucked you there in front of everyone. Maybe I should have, to teach you a lesson.”
Another finger was inserted, and he began moving them at a quick pace, his thumb moving to rub your clit. You threw your head back, moaning and crying. Law’s other hand found a place on your jaw, squishing your face between his finger and tilting your head so that he could look into your eyes.
“Do you get it now, (Name)-ya? Don’t pull shit like that again.”
“Mmm- but then I’d get to be fucked by you- ah! Law, I’m so close…”
Suddenly, he pulled his hand away from your dripping cunt, and you groaned out of frustration.
“A dirty whore like you doesn't get to cum just yet. I’m not done punishing you.”
Then, you heard the sound of Law unbuckling his jeans and you braced yourself, waiting for him to pound into you.
You felt his tip against your folds, rubbing along them up to your clit and back down. With one hand now on your hip, Law slid into you with ease. His other hand then was placed on the other side.
“Fuck, Law… mmmmh, so good-“
He gripped at your soft skin, and began a fast pace against your cunt. Your cunt was already throbbing around his cock, so close and ready to cum on him.
“That’s right, take it, and don’t even think about cumming just yet.”
His hand then moved away from your hip, grabbing one of your own and guiding it down to your clit.
“Rub yourself,” he instructed you.
His hand still on yours, you began rubbing circles onto your clit, causing you to nearly scream. It was all too much. You needed to cum right now.
“Law, I can’t… too much, please,” you whimpered.
“Beg for it,” his hand pressed down, causing you to push down on your clit.
“Ah, Law… please, please let me cum… I’ll be good for you, your little slut.”
“Tell me who you belong to,” his voice was now weaker, and you could tell he was running out of breath, about to cum as well.
“You, Law! I belong to nobody but you!”
“Fuck!” He collapsed onto your back, squishing you into the desk as he came inside of you, followed by you screaming his name and cumming on his cock.
After a few moments of both of you trying to catch your breath, you reached up to push him away, but he held you firm.
“Law… I can’t breathe…”
He finally let you go, only to pull you into his lap as he sat down on his desk chair.
“Did you learn your lesson?” He asked, smirking.
“Yes, Law… can we go back now? I actually wanted to talk to the girls…”
He sighed, “fine. But you need to clean up first.”

FALLING FOR YOU + MONKEY D.LUFFY
how i think luffy in love would be like!!
warnings: part of fluff month, self indulgent af, gender neutral reader; not proofread + requests are open ! check pinned post for requesting rules
he doesn't really know what made him feel that way towards you. at first, when you joined the crew, he treated you like he treated everyone else; he was touchy, hyperactive, dumb and crazy. throughout the months that you spent together, he felt himself always looking for your company or, at least, wanting to have you on his sight.
luffy always wants to have part of your food, but he doesn't feel like taking it himself. it tastes a lot better when you feed it to him, after all!! he pouts and complains about how he's so hungry when you say you won't feed him, but denies anyone else that offers to do that.
sleepwalks to your bed. if you don't sleep in his bed already, he can and will simply go to yours and throw himself on top of you, his entire body and limbs wrapping around your own. if you end up waking up, he will soft up his grip just enough so you can get comfortable, but you're definitely not able to make him go back to his bed.
he wouldn't feel jealous of you giving attention to others. in fact, i think he would adore to see that you're getting along with the rest of the crew. luffy would just be a little bothered if sanji gets a little more touchy with you, but he would simply distract you – he doesn't really acknowledge the jealousy inside him.
even if he let his hat with nami and he would trust anyone in the crew with it, you're definitely the only person he would allow to stay with his straw hat for long periods. he left it with you for a entire week once; he only got it back when you started to feel bad with the crew noticing and commenting about it.

Chapter 6

Masterlist!
A little more angst. Lol sorry :^)
This will be the last angst one for now, I'll give feel good vibes next chapter.
"You look tired." Sanji states the obvious as we stand together in the kitchen, chopping vegetables for a soup he was planning on serving to myself and the girls. Though, I knew that the boys would want some, too.
The day had started out by asking Sanji if I could help him cook. I wanted to learn more about it anyway, and it seemed like a good use to pass the time. At first, he was insistent on me 'not lifting a finger for my own meals;' But, in the end, I was successful. All it took was some ardent complaining that I was bored to tears, wanting something to do other than standing and staring at the fog (which made my eyes hurt).
Well, I may have also given him my best pleading look to seal the deal. After that, he hadn’t bothered to tell me ‘no’ again.
"Have you not been sleeping well?" My tired eyes swerve to meet his analytical gaze, to which his eyebrows twitch downwards in concern.
It was probably the first time he spoke to me normally this morning; I mean, without the fawning, hearts and sparkles. Our previous conversations had consisted of me asking a question, him having a nosebleed, and me having to redirect the conversation or cut it off completely. It was refreshing for him to be so serious now, though I wished it was about a different topic.
It wasn't like he was wrong, and I'm sure the bags under my eyes were clear enough to reinforce his worry, but I didn't want anybody to worry.
"I'm just having some trouble sleeping. New place, and all that." I smiled, before returning to the vegetables. Not entirely a lie, I could feel the ache begin to form behind my eyes from the strain of overuse.
"I'm not too used to the whole pirate ship thing yet."
"Ah, I understand." He finalizes, also tending to the vegetables on his cutting board.
Just as I start sloppily mincing the herbs, not entirely knowing what I was doing, he interrupts again.
"How's Luffy?" He asks dryly, with a very obvious hint of jealousy. I freeze, wondering if he's made the connection between my soulmate and my lack of sleep; Something else he would be correct on guessing. If so, he probably already knew the answer.
"He's... fine." I struggle to find the right word to use, wondering if I should be honest or lie to his face.
"I'm not really sure, honestly." I opt for the first choice, thinking it better to be honest, hopefully in a way that wasn't too concerning.
Silence, for a while. The only sound being the sharp slice of his knife through the potato as I get stuck in my own head, struggling to get myself out of it. My fingers fumble with the knife, and I place it flat on the counter with a sigh. I needed more distraction.
"Sanji," I start, softly, "What's the best method to cut these?"
"Here, let me show you, my lady!" He's back to his old self, and I let out the breath of relief that we've moved on to a different conversation.
More questions, more demonstration, and an hour that passes by quickly leads to a successfully made stew. Sanji ends the process, saying the pot needs to stay simmering for about an hour before serving, and I nod my head diligently at him.
"You're a star pupil! I couldn't have asked for a cuter student, (Y/n)-chan!" He exclaims, hearts in his eyes and floating around him as he twirls.
"Thank you," I say exasperatedly, "but you were a really good teacher, too, Sanji."
"I couldn't have done it without your help." I give him a sincere smile, wiping my hands off on a towel after having taken off my apron.
Instantly, his nose erupts with blood, spewing all over the floor as he smiles wide. Just as he begins to ramble about 'how cute (Y/n)-chan is,' Usopp and Nami begin shouting something outside.
Hearing the urgency in their voices, I quickly moved to remove myself from the situation, walking to the door to peer outside; then I stopped short at the view. Sanji is quick to recover, coming next to me while the blood begins to dry on his face. He has a similar reaction, and my blood runs cold.
Both of us are stunned, looking out at the hoard of ships around us that have suddenly appeared from the dense fog. Their hulls are painted a teal-blue, with darker stripes and white accents. On the side of each ship are the large, imposing letters that spell 'MARINE.'
"Sanji, get to the helm! Hard to starboard, now!" Sanji obeys Nami's command obediently. I feel fear wrack through me at the insistence in Nami's voice, realizing just how many ships there are around us. It must be an entire fleet. All of them are huge, too; at least two to three times the size of the Going Merry.
"This is bad! We're surrounded by the Marines, aren't we?" Usopp voices my own concern as I come out carefully and stand next to Nami, gaping warily at the large ships. What would happen if we were caught?
"Amazing!" Luffy exclaims, and I flinch at his volume. At least he was happy, I guess.
"Not even the Marines can move around in this kind of fog." Nami states, and I trust her words as the ship's navigator. Though, it still doesn't do much to quell my nerves.
"Exactly. It might be best for us to escape under the cover of this fog." Robin reinforces Nami's statement, and Zoro stands beside her, quietly observing.
"You're right. Keep heading forward." Nami directs, "Everyone, keep quiet."
I follow her instructions like a well trained soldier. There wouldn't be a single peep from me. Not even a slight movement. I stood rigid, like a statue; she looked over at me quizzically. Nodding stiffly at her, she shook her head with a sigh.
"Especially you, Luffy." She added, looking at the Captain who sat atop the figurehead.
"Right!" He yelled, not at all quiet. What a surprise.
And so it stayed, for about a minute. From behind the two of us, Sanji spotted something.
"Nami," He started, sounding curious, "Is that a kid standing up there?"
The two of us followed his gaze, trailing up to the top of one of the Marine vessels. And, he was correct. There was a young boy with glasses and orange hair standing next to the railing, wearing a chef's coat and hat as he stared up at the sky. He had a sort of forlorn look about him.
"A little kid. What is he doing up there?" Nami responded, sounding concerned. I wasn't sure if the concern was for the kid himself standing in such a precarious place, or for the fact that he could spot us and alert the rest of the Marines.
We didn't get the chance to take any action about the potential problem, since he spotted us in the next moment. In his shock, he stumbled, pushing his cooking pot overboard. Moving to catch it, he tripped and fell over the side of the boat. I grabbed at the railing in front of me, scared for him as I heard his scream of fright.
"Hold on!" Sanji had raced over and was ready to jump into the water.
"Allow me." Robin said smoothly, crossing her arms. An array of hands sprouted along the side of the boat, catching the boy as well as his pot, before beginning to hoist them on board.
I rushed over, alarm bells ringing at the lack of noise coming from the boy now as Sanji held him in his arms. He was passed out, but after a swift once-over from Chopper, seemed unharmed. I let out a deep breath, relieved that he was fine.
"Poor kid..." I said quietly, brushing back a few pieces of hair that got tangled in his glasses. I had a soft spot for kids, having lived in the orphanage for so long to the point I had started taking care of them like they were my own siblings. His young face, at the time, reminded me of some of those back home. For a fleeting moment, I felt my heart ache, wondering how they might be doing without me now.
"Come on," Chopper urged, "Let's get him inside."
---
Anchored a safe distance away from the Marine fleet, the whole of the crew is inside the ship now, waiting for Chopper to work his magic so that the boy can wake up. He was laying on the couch, a thin blanket covering him and breathing softly.
I sat next to Chopper on the floor, helping him with whatever was needed to get the boy to come to. Chopper waved the small bottle of salts beneath the boy's nose for a second, before he groaned.
"He's coming around," I perked up at Chopper's words. "The smelling salts seem to be working."
"Really?" Hopeful that the boy would be fine, I moved a little closer. The boy's eyes opened groggily, before turning his head and looking at me in a daze.
"Hello." I smile, speaking softly.
"How are you feeling?" He doesn't respond for a moment, just staring. I tilt my head in concern, wondering why he wasn't saying anything. He must not have felt very good after passing out from the shock like that.
"Oi!" I hear Luffy's annoyed voice pipe up behind me, and I jolt at the abruptness of it, as does the boy.
"Wake up already!" And he does. His glasses nearly fall off his face from how quickly he shoots up from the bed. I resist the urge to turn and glare at my soulmate, not understanding why he was being so mean to a kid.
"W-Where am I?" He stutters out, looking over my head to the rest of my crew. I turn to find them all hovering, as expected. For some reason, Luffy's arms are crossed, looking annoyed at our visitor. I wanted to roll my eyes at the absurdity.
"On the ship of The Straw Hat pirates." Says Usopp. The kid gasps, and then seems to remember what happened. Immediately he raises a defensive fist, his eyebrows pinched together on his forehead with anger.
"Stay back! You're planning an attack against the Marines, aren't you?" I raise my hands apprehensively, sliding back a bit. He looked ready to hit somebody.
"Woah, relax." I tried to appease him, "We're not gonna' do that."
"What's with him? And after we rescued him too." Usopp scorned the boy indirectly, and Luffy grunted in agreement.
"You can't blame him, he's a marine." Robin stated, before Sanji made his way over. He was holding a bowl of soup, and before long was handing it to the boy.
Sanji urged him to eat some, so that he would feel better after passing out like he did. It took a bit of coaxing, the stubborn child not wanting to 'take any help from pirates,' probably thinking it was poisoned or something. Finally, after Sanji addressed his concerns, he began to eat.
With each spoonful he seemed to relax more and more. Giving a satisfied hum as Sanji chuckled to himself, and pretty soon the bowl was practically licked clean.
"Thanks, that was great." He looked extremely satisfied, and much happier as a result. I smiled, as did most of the crew.
---
Tajio, the boy, explained his situation once he came out on deck. Apparently, he had spilled the curry that was meant to serve to the marine captains of his fleet, and couldn't manage to remake it himself since he was only a chore boy. AKA, he didn't have cooking experience.
Sanji seemed ready to brush him off and send him back to his crew, until Tajio mentioned something called the 'All Blue.' Then it was like a complete one-eighty for Sanji; escorting Tajio back to his ship was his top priority. When I looked at Nami questioningly, wondering why it was so important to him. All she did was give me a cheeky grin.
"(Y/n)," Sanji says, and I whip my head around to pay attention, given his serious tone.
"You can go ahead and serve everyone lunch. It should be ready by now, I trust you to take care of it." He smiles, before turning around and walking past Luffy, who is visibly upset.
"Aw, man! I'm gonna miss lunch?" He whines, lip quivering. Soon, he's turning to look at me, and I don't get the chance to look away in time. He bounds up, stopping dead in front of me. I take a step back.
Then, he gives the most heart melting, tear-jerking frown as his lip juts out. I feel my heart stop in my chest, breath hitching. My heart hurts just to see him so upset.
"Can you save some for me? Please?" He draws out the word, and I glance all over his face with my own frown. There was a battle going on between my heart and my brain now. Why did he only pay attention to me when it came to food?
I took a few more hesitant steps backward, and he looked downright confused when I didn’t respond. Before he could look at me like he always did, like I was stranger and weirder than he was somehow, I turned and high-tailed it back to the lounge.
I can feel the crew's eyes follow me the whole way, too quiet for my liking. Before I enter the room, I hear Luffy's mumbled disappointment:
"She never said she'd save me any!"
Despite his words, and my feuding feelings, the first thing I do is set a large serving apart for him and put it in the fridge. My face was bright red, moving at lightning speed from the adrenaline being channeled by my own embarrassment. I can't believe I just made a scene like that in front of the whole crew.
I couldn't even tell if I was upset with Luffy or with myself at this point.
It takes them a bit, but I set up the dining table with steaming bowls of vegetable stew for the crew. With the dishes I place small additions; napkins, silverware, salt, pepper, grated cheese, and some water for everyone before I finally feel the table is set to the extent that Sanji would approve of. In a way, it felt good to do something that was so special and different. I felt like I had just been lazing around the ship this whole time, bored out of my mind and stuck inside of it. But, here, I felt I had an actual job to contribute with.
Eventually, I can hear everybody that’s left on board muttering outside to themselves, too quiet for me to hear properly. I tried not to think about it, but could feel my legs turn to jelly when remembering my actions. Were they whispering about me?
It's then that they all come into the room, lively and chatty as if nothing ever happened. Nami and Usopp sit on one side of the table, while Chopper and Robin sit on the other side. Zoro takes his bowl and sits in the corner. Everybody begins to eat.
"Ooh, this is really good!" Says Chopper.
"Yeah, did you help Sanji make this, (Y/n)?" Usopp asks, and I can't help but cringe at the way his voice sounds; Like he's treading lightly in an awkward situation. Like he's hesitating to talk to me.
"Yeah, I did. I'm glad you guys like it!" I feign the excitement, if only to appease their concerns.
"You should come sit with us! Have some yourself since you slaved over it, right?" Nami claims.
"Oh, I'm good. I just ate, actually." I lied through my teeth, feeling my stomach twisting uncomfortably. It had been doing that since our last conversation, an on and off symptom that would get worse with each Luffy interaction. Nami scrutinized me with the spoon still in her mouth, and I nervously turned away.
"Um, anyways," I began my diversion, hoping they couldn't hear the shake in my voice, "What exactly is the All Blue?"
"Oh, that's right," Says Usopp, remembering suddenly, "You don't know what the All Blue is, do you?"
"I only know that it's important to Sanji." I shake my head, further emphasizing Usopp's point.
"It's Sanji's dream!" Claims Chopper, and I direct my attention to him now.
"He told us that it's the only ocean in the whole world where every species of fish lives; all in one place." The little reindeer continues, sounding dazed with amazement.
"Really? All of them?" I ask incredulously.
"Yeah, the marine life of the entire world; all in one ocean!" Nami chirps.
"It's a chef's dream!" Usopp chimes.
"That's really neat." I confirm, nodding with a small smile.
"My dream is to become a great warrior of the sea!" Usopp chimes, putting his fist on the table triumphantly. All the dishes shake at the impact.
"I want to become the world's greatest doctor!"
"I'm going to make a map of the world, but you knew that already."
"I would like to discover the history of this world."
"And I want to become the world's greatest swordsman."
"Right," I breathed, feeling overwhelmed by the passion in the room, "I think you mentioned that once before, Zoro."
He grunted, spoon clinking in his bowl before throwing it into the sink from his seat, and then tilting the rim into his mouth. He chugged what was left of the dish as we all sat in silence.
I went to the sink to start washing up, before Chopper piped up.
"What about your dream? Huh? Huh?" He asked expectantly, tugging on my sweatpants in order to give me his plate, as well as an answer.
"My dream?" I squeaked out, eyes flicking to Nami in a momentary panic.
"It's not... nearly as exciting as any of yours."
"So?" Zoro chides, and I flinch.
"Come on!" Chopper draws out the last word, before hopping up and down.
"Tell us, tell us!"
"Well--" I stutter, "I guess--"
I'm cut off by a loud SLAM, followed by the sound of wood cracking and splintering to the floor as everybody turns toward the noise. On the wall, there's an outline of an upside-down figure, sprawled out and indented into the planks. I can't help but feel a little thankful at the interruption, not wanting to tell everyone something so personal just yet; something that might ruin the mood. That is, until I realize that it's Sanji stuck in the wall, and Luffy's giving him half-hearted apologies.
Rushing, I trot over to the fridge and grab his portion of food, though I don't bother to heat it up. Placing it on the table next to a glass of water left vacant, I turn and run for the hills.
"Woah, where are you going in such a rush?" Usopp questions wearily.
"Sorry," I blab, "I just need some time to myself for a while."
"Oh, okay." He says, but I don’t hear it. I'm already out the door before Luffy and Sanji even make it inside. Glancing around at the fog that still lays thick on the water there's a distinct lack of marine ships, which is relieving. Nami and Usopp come out of the room and begin to chew out my soulmate for being so reckless, since he was spotted by the marines whilst they were gone. Quiet as a mouse, I make my way below deck to hide in the girls room.
Unbeknownst to me, Robin trades spots with Luffy, who runs to the kitchen for food. The trio can hear his cheering as he finds the plate of food I left for him. Nami gives Robin a roll of her eyes, and Robin laughs.
"Am I missing something?" Usopp wonders, looking between the two.
Nami sighs as Robin laughs again, before deciding to grace him with an answer.
"Our newest member is having a hard time adjusting."
Usopp's mouth forms into an 'o' shape, before nodding in understanding. He turns to look back at Luffy, who is scarfing the food down without much thought, yapping at Zoro about his short-lived adventure. He looks as carefree as can be, ignoring the elephant in the room, rather the lack of it. Now that he thinks about it, Usopp hasn't seen Luffy interact with his soulmate for more than a few minutes ever since she showed up. She must’ve been struggling adjusting to their way of life as it is, and to do that with a soulmate like Luffy… Well, he couldn’t imagine it.
"I think I understand why..." He sweat drops, and the women hum in agreement.

The Beast of the Heart
Summary: Sanji doesn't get jealous. Or, that's what he says anyway. Don't EVER let him see another man flirt with Zoro. Pairing: Zosan Warnings: Jealousy, near possessive behavior, suggestive at the end. Nothing explicit, more just references Word count: 825
Sanji trusted Zoro. He truly did, it was a simple, indisputable fact.
Or, it was an indisputable fact around women, at the very least. He trusted Zoro fully when any woman came around to attempt, keyword, to seduce the swordsman, no matter how pretty. This was his lover here. A darling bumbling fool who was utterly loyal to a simple fault when it came to those he cared for. So that was why Sanji was fine to stand at the sidelines when a lady would sidle up to the man, content to watch Zoro let her down easy in the endearingly blunt, brutish way of his and only step in if she refused to take the hint.
And that would be all fine and dandy for the cook! Things would be wonderfully smooth and stress-free if that were the case.
It wasn’t. Don’t get Sanji started on when other men flirted with his darling mossball.
Again, it wasn’t that he didn’t trust Zoro, far from it! His darling idiot would first slit his own throat before going behind him. But that still didn’t calm the beast in his heart. Of course, he liked to think he went about things in a rather civil manner. But he knew better still. He knew much, much better when that monster snarled, snapped, thrashed at the mere idea of some other man sidling up to Zoro with a pretty smile and darling bat of his eyelashes. His blood boiled and his teeth ground sharply together at the thought of foreign fingers gliding along a toned bicep.
Like now.
Sanji had turned his head back towards where he knew Zoro would be lagging, having been put on pack mule duty once more, only to feel something dark within him twist at the sight he was greeted with. Zoro had been stopped by a man that reminded Sanji very unpleasantly of himself, pretty and lithe, a pretty smile across his delicate features that made no attempt of hiding his intentions.
He was already pissed, but he nearly sheered through the cigarette in his mouth when his jaw tensed when he saw a hand come to rest at Zoro’s elbow. That beast Sanji had long made his peace with seemed to fill his chest, anger and jealousy trickling through his veins like a dark venom.
He was in motion far before Zoro had the chance to move.
Only a handful of sharp strides easily brought Sanji to Zoro’s shoulder, a hand sharply smacking away the offender’s away. “I would appreciate it if you kept your hands off of my boyfriend,” he said in an overly sickly sweet tone, not missing the steadying hand at the small of his back. It wasn’t over the swordsman's head how Sanji got. Far, far from it.
The look of disdain written clearly over the man’s face had the monster behind his heart trilling, Snaji smiling right back. “I apologize,” the stranger said stiffly, the two of them have a silent standoff. They both knew their merit, the best way to describe it being as a show of dominance between them.
And as always, Sanji’s opponent folded first, hs beast purring as the other turned, proverbial tail tucked as he stalked away. Victory trilled through Sanji, the blond soaking it up. His smugness was tangible, unsurprised when Zoro wrapped his arms around him from behind, nuzzling into his neck.
“You know I don’t like it when you lag behind, sweetheart ,” Sanji hummed, smirking as the arms tightened around his waist. Zoro was well versed in the signs of the cook’s rampant jealousy, sweetened pet names being a wonderful tell. And Sanji just loved to abuse the use of them, knowing his tendency to get protective of his stop as Zoro’s boyfriend got the swordsman going like nothing else.
“Mhm…”
“People… men see you alone. What do you think goes through their minds, darling ? They’re animals, the lot of them. How am I going to make sure they know who you belong to?” Sanji hummed, letting his fingers card through the short, mossy hair of his lover and reveling in the way Zoro nuzzled closer to his neck.
“Tryna say I can’t hold my own, Curly?” Zoro mumbled and Sanji chuckled.
“Oh no, I know you can more than hold your own, but… I don’t like others trying to encroach on what’s mine when I’m not around to mitigate it,” Sanji replied with a soft hmph , the beast growling its agreement.
“Then maybe you should leave claim,” Zoro murmured back, a hand sliding up Sanji’s stomach.
“Awe, Mossy~ We’re in public, an exhibitionist now, are we?” the cook teased, chuckling when Zoro growled softly at him. “Alright, alright. Back to the ship, hm? I think we have enough for today.”
That was all Zoro needed to hear. It wasn’t long before Sanji was dragging him back to the ship, the beast within nestled deep and content once more.

If we're getting another chapter for made for two can we know the real reason why Zoro decided to end the relationship? I feel like there's something more than him getting annoyed at us like cheating or jealousy or whatever
Hello dear reader!
I'm so glad you're enjoying the fic and are super invested in it all! I actually did consider having Zoro do something awful like cheat on you or something, but (even for the sake of moving the story forward) I don't think he'd do that. Let me explain more below the cut (and show you why it's still just as tragic)
TL;DR: Zoro and the reader do love each other, but show it in very different ways, and they were doomed from the start because of it.
I think Zoro does care about and loves the reader in his own way, but Zoro doesn't show it in the same way other people on the crew do, especially you. Just because he cares about you doesn't mean he's going to alter his day to be with you more often, and in his mind, training (so he can protect you and the other people he cares about on the crew) is the most important thing. He's selfish, and he doesn't care about large romantic gestures. He doesn't remember important events like birthdays or anniversaries or even what day it is in general.
He's the kind of person who likes you around when he needs you around - which we see at the beginning of the story when he's playful in bed. But after his morning shower, his mindset shifts to training, and he doesn't need you around anymore because you'll just distract him. He's not the kind to spare feelings or tell you unnecessary words of affirmation. He gets to the point because that's what he understands, especially when he's upset.
And then we have the reader, who is someone that loves quality time, and wants to spend time together with not just Zoro but everyone on the ship. They love loudly and they want to be loved the same, which is something that Zoro has never had the capacity to understand or appreciate. This has resulted in months of arguments; most days looking like the one I had written.
The day written wasn't any different than most island days, expect for the date. The island you all landed on marked 6 months of you all dating, and Zoro never commented on it, he didn't want to be around you, he broke his promise and his compromise made with you, and he purposely avoided the one thing you guys do on a normal day (watching the sunset). He was angry with you and purposely avoided it all out of spite. He was itching for a screaming match because normally those types of fights end with you begging for forgiveness and you tiptoeing around him for the next few days because you don't want to lose him, and thats what he expected. But today was the day you gave up fighting, because of how hurt you were over the 6 months being forgotten by him. It was the straw that broke the camels back.
Sometimes people love each other deeply, but they simply aren't compatible. Such is the case with the reader and Zoro (which we can see from your POV and Zoro's argument with Sanji). That doesn't nullify the love that still remains between you two, in fact it makes it all the more painful. It's the reason I added a very small line into Dance for Two, actually.
"You wanted to run away, restart the day, or just go back to when you and Zoro first broke up and beg for his forgiveness."
It's a line that most people probably miss or doesn't mean anything to them. But the reader is used to this to portray just how messy their relationship is with Zoro. They're used to screaming and fighting, just to make up the next. This is the way their relationship has always been, so it must be normal.
You know how you're in a dimly lit room and you can almost see everything then a bright light blinds you? But when your eyes adjust, you realize you've been missing out on so many details and colors while you were sitting in the dark. It's a whole new world now, something you didn't know was possible.
I imagine Sanji is that light for the reader, and now that you've learned that there are people who will sacrifice for you rather than give you an occasional compromise, it's impossible to go back to the way it was before.
I must admit, I know this is not as enthralling as catching him cheating or having some other big thing happen that is earth-shattering for the reader. I don't think Zoro is a bad person, after all. He's just bad for you.
#if you read this whole thing I love you#I just needed to word vomit about this#because I swear i love zoro#i do#i hope this gives some insight to the story and to both zoro and the readers mental state#and their past relationship#coza asks#coza thoughts#made for two

For the OC prompt list: 🐱🦀💖
oc x canon ask game! (always accepting >:D)
🐱: Do they have pet names for each other, if so what are they? How does their partner feel about their pet name?
Of course Sanji has pet names for Yuna lol. The ones he frequently uses are: mon ange, mon coeur, mon étolie, and my goddess. At first, Yuna just casually accepted them since she expected it as part of Sanji's flirty personality but once they actually got together, she becomes more amused by them (especially the "goddess" one) but secretly enjoys them.
While Yuna isn't someone who often uses pet names (if ever), she thought that it was unfair to Sanji if she didn't have one for him. She even shares this worry with him and although he reassures her that he doesn't mind, after some thinking, she calls him "[my] dearest" and he almost bursts in happy tears. She'll also call him "my prince." Either one gets the tip of his ears to flush.
🫶: Who ended up falling first? Which of them actually realized that they’d fallen in love first? (answering this instead of 💖 since it's not on the list)
While I want to say obviously Sanji given how we all know he goes immediately hearteyes over any pretty girl, I think the first one to actually go from the "infatuation/crush" stage to "in love" - as well as realize it - was Yuna. She gets quickly attached to him especially after he saved her life and therefore, he was initially one of the two Straw Hats who made her feel safe and comfortable during her adjustment to the crew (the other being Nami until she eventually got closer to the rest).
It's hard to pinpoint exactly when Yuna fell in love with him (or more like I still didn't think of it yet though it could've been more of a gradual thing). She doesn't even realize her feelings and even thinks she's become ill until she talks with Nami and the navigator helps her process it. Yes that one comic I did is canon (to this storyline lmao).
As for Sanji, I think he fell in love with her pretty soon after she did but he takes longer to realize it.
🦀: How did they handle realizing they were in love? Embarrassed? Nervous? Mad?
When Nami helps Yuna realize that she's in love with Sanji, her reaction is very mixed. At first, the novelty of the feeling intrigues her but as the realization sets in, she grows more dejected and even fearful. Because of her self-loathing and Sanji's flirtatious nature, she immediately assumes that he won't reciprocate her feelings and even if he did, they will not last long. The fear is due to her comparing herself to a certain someone who had been obsessed with her in the past (the same person who trapped her on the island the Straw Hats found her on). She misunderstands her jealousy whenever Sanji flirts with another woman as her becoming like that certain person and it terrifies her because she doesn't want to hurt him that way (btw I'm being vague about her past here cause I gotta keep some details for the fic that I will definitely write, right? ;)) So after this realization, she starts to keep her distance from Sanji unless necessary. She doesn't act coldly; she'll still smile and thank him as he's serving meals and occasionally help with the dishwashing and all that but she noticeably spends less time with him.
Sanji's moment of realization is when he overslept after a night out at a bar and Yuna took over breakfast duty. She specifically cooks meals that helps with hangovers and when she brings over his plate, that was his "oh" moment. He's at loss for what to do because it's unlike how he expected to react and his mind goes wild as he wonders if she feels the same way. And of course, since this is when Yuna is keeping her distance, he begins to doubt that she does. He also thinks that Yuna is in love with Robin (when Robin joined, Yuna did have a brief crush on her). This combined with knowing her past trauma - as well as him not feeling worthy of her - prevents him from revealing his feelings to her and he attempts to shove it down with his continuous womanizing.
TLDR; they are both pining idiots and meanwhile this is Nami the whole time:

today is sunday and while i don't have anything sexual to say about pudding ( not that we should care since she's literally a teenager, which is always good to remind ) i want to write a little rundown of things involving pudding and the concept of love.
as a child love has always been associated as a reward for being useful, especially because the only source was big mom. as i already mentioned pudding's whole existence is a mean to an end and her usefulness is tied to how fast she will awaken her third eye. we know she was spoiled wich riches but that both her mom and some of her siblings beside her bullies were disgusted by her appearance. even when it comes to the siblings she has a close bond with, it's mostly pudding adapting to their habits so that they will like her better
as a teenager, her concept of love is based on the idealisation of it that lola had before leaving totto land. pudding mentions she wishes to sail and find her true love the way her older sister did, unaware of the fact that it's not that easy... if lola's story is of any testament that is
as we know sanji was the first person who somewhat expressed romantic interest toward her. while his behaviour was bare minimum, to someone like pudding who has never been exposed to anything it feels like gold - with this i'm not saying that it wasn't pivotal to the beginning of her "redemption arc", but the sanji that pudding has seen in the days previous to their wedding is very different from how he presents usually ( due to unfortunate circumstances and whatnot ) in fact we see her have a little heartbreak moment at his reunion with nami upon realising he's just like that with everyone. there's nothing wrong with that and i think the way she managed her jealousy was quite mature despite... everything... heartache is part of growing up and again that was also essential for pudding to evolve her idea of love
pudding feels in extremes, mostly due to the traumas of her childhood but also because she's not balanced with all things yet. explaining herself and putting her feelings into words always feels like too much work - this is where acts of service come. the more she gets in tune with her higher self the less thoughts will feel jumbled, but even then she will never talk anyone's ear off preferring to help / assist them whatever they need instead. words of affirmation are the preferred love language toward her - she needs lot of reassurance and clear communication, hazy situation will bore her quickly and make her feel unwanted, which in turn will end up with her parting ways
pudding's true self will evolve to the point that she will be one with everything. it transcends the body and it's hard to explain to the people she cares for, but the way she feels is so so much different. while she can love people ( especially the ones she shares deep bonds with due to circumstances ) she's not so much physically / sexually attracted to them. she's not opposed to sharing beds and baths and what could come with being in a relationship, but that's it really
due to this, she finds intimacy in much higher things - silence for instance. she's one of those people who loves being in the same room with the person she cares for, doing her own thing or watching them do their things, enjoying those little moments because she's aware of how fleeting they are. the kitchen will forever be the place you'll find pudding to be most vulnerable, the kitchen table being the most sacred space for any type of conversation
while i understand that pudding needs a gag otherwise she'd be too perfect, i personally think she would never have nosebleeds. however, she is absolutely cursed with THREE (3) huge romantic brown eyes who are a literal secret weapon to get everything she wants

◡̈⋆🅷🅸(●’◡’●)ノ! how are you? hope you're okay! this is my first time requesting so let me know if i did something wrong! i saw in the rules that you're watching/reading dressrosa, so i think you know who's violet. so can you please write a scenario with sanji in which his girlfriend thinks he'd leave her for violet? maybe angst with a happy ending?👉👈 thank you so so much, and sorry if the request is confusing!🖤
One Love
a/n: I’m doing alright!! tired, but alright!! I’m a slow watcher so I’m not far in dressrosa, but I do know who violet is. I wrote this based on what I know about her so I’m sorry if anything is off!! hopefully I did your ask justice, and just as a btw my askbox is back open!!
➪ includes: sanji (w/ fem! reader)
➪ warnings: not really other than some angst??
It was an awful, awful feeling that overtook you as you stood there in the street, on your way to the restaurant. Ice shot through your veins, chilling you down to the bone. Your heart went from still to racing in seconds, and your whole body shuddered. Your whole body buzzed with anxiety.
Fear and jealousy were a terrible mix. It made you sick to your stomach and you felt completely dizzy. It tore you up inside. You wished you could claw it out but you had no idea how to. You could barely find the slightest bit of courage to speak to him.
You loved Sanji, how couldn’t you? He always showered you with love and gifts every second he was in your presence. He treated you like a goddess on earth, practically worshipping your every step. There was no such thing as a moment where you felt unloved around him.
Although, she’d caught his attention instead. You almost couldn’t blame him, she was one of the most beautiful women in Dressrosa. Any man would give his life to have her love him, and Sanji may have fallen into that himself.
You ran your hands over your dress to flatten it as you sat at a table, waiting for him to finally join you. You were filled with anxiety, completely unsure of how to go through with this. You weren’t even sure if you were right.
Nonetheless, you had a stabbing pain in your heart whenever you saw the two of them together. Maybe you were overthinking, but with Sanji's fatal flaw around women you could never be so sure. You wanted to curse yourself for overlooking it, you could’ve saved yourself from this awful feeling.
As much as you hated it, she was probably a better choice than you. A bold lover like her would match Sanji while you were just… you. Maybe you weren’t fit to be his lover. You shook your head in shame at the thought, it wasn’t time to already be crying.
Someone brushed by your side and you looked up. Sanji beamed down at you and took the seat across from you. “I’m so sorry to keep you waiting, my love. You wanted to talk?” Your chest ached, he was always so sweet but a feeling kept nagging at you and telling you this was bound to end.
You forced a smile and took a shy sip of your drink, trying to gather your courage. “I do.” You murmured as if you barely trusted your voice. The room felt too quiet for your liking, the walls threatening to close in on you. “I wanted to ask you a question?”
He leans in to give you his full attention, resting his chin atop his clasped hands. “What is it y/n-chan?”
Your lip quivered slightly and you nodded, mulling over your words. “I was wondering…” You paused and averted your eyes, your face felt hot. “If you’re happy in this relationship?” You finally spit out and braced yourself for his response.
He paused and your heart felt like it shattered, were you right? Was he actually not in love with you anymore? His silence was heavy and unbearable. You silently fought the urge to leave right now, too embarrassed by how foolish love had made you.
“My love, why would you think that?” He finally speaks and you glance at him quickly. His eyes look hurt and there’s a nervous tension in his body. “Y/n, you know I love you, don’t you?” He asks, his voice shaky.
“It’s just… if you want to be with her you should’ve just told me.” He raises a swirly eyebrow at you and you hesitate before saying her name. “You like her don’t you? Violet?”
He’s stunned, eyes wide. Then he scrambled to cup your face as tears started flowing. “Y/n!! Please don’t cry, I’m so sorry I made you think that. Please don’t cry, it hurts to see you upset.”
You can’t get the words out as you sob but he comes around the table to hold you close, rubbing your back to calm you. “You’re the only girl who has my heart. I’d never give you up for anyone, I love you so so much. Please don’t ever think I’d leave you.” He brushes the tears from your eyes and peppers you with kisses.
“You’ll always be my one love.”

One Piece Chapter 1052 - Initial Thoughts
Okay then
What was first meant to be just the wrapping up of Wano has now turned into the wrapping up of the penultimate saga of One Piece, and the last few chapters before the Month Hiatus
There's still the possibility that Oda leaves us on a cliffhanger though, so let's see what these last chapters have to offer
Spoilers for the Chapter, Support the Official Release
Gastino how come you didn't leave Whole Cake!? You can Fly!
We start the chapter with the reaction of the Gorosei
I'm still unsure what they mean by 'fallen', I don't expect BM or Kaido to be dead but at the same time the longer it's left the more it feels like they are
Zunesha has left too, confirming to them that Wano's borders won't open, meaning that they can't invade (though I wonder about the waterfall's stability still)
They still want Robin though, I don't think mask face has the heart to tell them
Someone hacking into CP0's signal?
Back in Onigashima and Drake and Hawkins are alive!
See? Hawkins may be a bit of a bastard, but who isn't in the Worst Generation? In the end he was never gonna go back to Kaido
Anime have done an error it seems, the 1% man was Hawkins himself!
I hope he didn't just die then, part of me feels like he came to Drake because he wants a way out, even if it is with the marines
A week passes and Wano is being reestablished; education is being reformed, kids are getting water, and a new festival is coming
People think Luffy - who they refer to as Joy Boy - left though
If they think Luffy's heroism rivals Ryuma then god what was Ryuma doing beyond the Monsters manga!?
In Ringo, Kin, Marco and Kawamatsu are discussing making another shrine to bury the fallen
Izou sadly confirmed dead, man went out protecting his family though so you gotta respect that, they're gonna be laid to rest with Yasuie, the other Daimyo, Oden and Ashura
In the palace Yamato waits, and Hiyori reveals that Luffy and Zoro have awakened
Plus we finally have that dropkick
Yep, they're back to normal...BUT TELL US ABOUT THE REAPER ZORO!!!
Momo's festival was on hold until Luffy and Zoro woke up, gotta get hammered back into a coma after all
Luffy and Zoro of course don't recognize adult Momo XD
Alas Momo, you've lost your chance to nestle in Nami and Robin's bosom, now you get smacked off - not that Brook and Sanji aren't taking any pleasure out of that...
Yamato please keep putting plates on his head
Now that Luffy and Zoro is awake, Yamato can apparently eat, since they made a vigil to not eat or bathe till they woke
Hiyori reveals she wiped the two boys clean though, not that Zoro pays any attention, Sanji will pay attention (and rage in jealousy) for the both of them
Zoro though remembers his promise to Sanji, and decides to take liberties with it by attacking him
The Onsen scene was perhaps not for me, I get it's a win for Yamato to be in the men's bath and Kiku to be in the women's bath but also if Brook and Sanji are perving at Yamato during all this it's kinda missing the point
Oh to be young and be allowed to get away with getting to second base due to 'innocence'
Carrot please you're 15, sit down!
In Tokage Port, Usopp and Franky have done the work and helped fix up the ships and Franky Shogun
I keep forgetting that Kid's ship looks awesome
Stubborn and grumpy Kid and Law though, don't want to be giving the straw hats credit because now the alliance will be coming to an end
FUCK OFF APOO, Ibi you can stay
Okay leave the new bounties on the floor and then FUCK OFF APOO
Bounties AND Names? Oh I've been waiting for new titles, and new Emperors? I'd guess maybe Kid'll get shafted because his alliance failed and Law and Luffy's didn't
For joking sake I'd love to see Tama just have her face plastered over Kaido's bounty, 'Queen of Beasts' Tama
Dude is literally using a plant on his back to helicopter over to Wano
Admiral Green bull sir, I'm gonna have to kindly ask you not to disrupt this festival and try and kidnap Robin, peas and tankards? Akainu is telling you to not do anything unnecessary and attacking a nation not bound by the WG's jurisdiction with two freshly new Yonko would fit that bill, plus you're chill with Fujitora who's pro-Luffy, be chill man, be chill
Also you are kinda triggering my Baron Omatsuri trauma with the flower growing out of you...
Oda had to do it didn't he? He's setting up shit to hit the fan right before a hiatus
It was a fine chapter, one designed to lure you into a false sense of security. But I do worry that a lot of things are gonna be left unanswered
It's been a full week now in Wano so I kinda expect that if BM and Kaido were dead that their subordinates would be in full panic, BM's crew is a big question mark after all in this saga.
We have no clue about Kaido's Poneglyph either, or Wano's use of Sea Prism Stone in general, or really any of the early stuff with Hitetsu and the Nidai Kitetsu. While we're on swords as well we may not see Zoro pay his respects to Ryuma or have any genetics towards Wano as it was theorised and even hinted by Oda to have, and we do need to know about his excursion to hell too.
Between all of this, Luffy and co having a rager, the Admiral, leaving Wano (with Robin still with them hopefully) and finding out about what happened in the outside, I fear Oda won't be able to cover all of that.
This being said, the chapter itself had a lot of fun parts, I'm still not sold on the onsen scene nor am I 100% sold that Yamato is Nakama until Luffy says so (he still calls him Yama-o), I will also continue to hold on hope for Carrot since she was in the background for this chapter and Zunesha has already left, but then again the minks did have ships too so it's still very much a clutch at straws. As I noted before, I hope Hawkins survives, and even sticks with Drake, SWORD could use his talents too after all. And I expect Kid to feel slighted by the new bounty figures, perhaps enough to even attempt full villainy. I worry about Law though, the end of the saga means the end of his and Luffy's alliance, what will the Surgeon of Death do now?
I can see the Admiral's presence going one of two ways; either he causes a scene or he simply chills at the party. It's also quite possible that he's not the one who contacted CP0, since the navy only learned of CP0's presence in Wano through Drake, I half expect another force to be coming: SSG, Sentomaru or Lucci perhaps? It was theorised by many that Green Bull had a plant DF so that seems confirmed, I wonder if that may fall into Usopp's wheelhouse with his Pop Greens or to his detriment? But I do hope he's just pretty chill and ends up joining in on the food, while also dropping the bomb about what happened at the Reverie, but it's tough to tell.
One more chapter until the long wait.

Hello author! Can I ask for K and L for Sanji/Ace please. (Fluff) thankyou!
Fluff Alphabet - Portgas D. Ace
a/n: hiya!!!! Here is ace’s fluff alphabet! 💗I know you only asked for K & L but I hate only answering a few letters of these at a time LMAO 💀ALSOOOOO I’m going to Sanjis at some point too, because I got a lot more angst asks than fluff so yahhhh! Anywayssss hope you enjoy<3333
A-Activities (what do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?)
Ace absolutely loves to pull pranks on you AND he loves to pull pranks with you. Once a month you actually have an all-out prank war against one another where even the crew fear that they will be caught in the middle of it.
Oh, and true to his character, the two of you spend a lot of time eating food together. It’s very difficult for any normal human being to eat anything close to the amount Ace eats, so more often than not, it’s you staring at him in awe while he scoffs down another plate of food.
B-Beauty (what do they admire about their s/o? what do they think is beautiful about them?)
He finds your smile to be one of the most beautiful things he’s ever seen, it’s even more beautiful when the smile is directed at him. The moment you smile at him everything else in the world seems to melt away. Ace does everything in his power to bring a smile to your face, because when you smile everything else seems to fall into place. (SO CLICHÉ I KNOW BUT IT’S TRUE!)
C-Comfort (how would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?)
His go to method of comfort is cuddles. He just wraps his arms around you and gives you lots of forehead kisses. He’ll say all these kind things about you and ask what you need from him. If you’re not sure, or if you don’t feel like talking, he’ll patiently wait until you’re ready to talk.
D-Dreams (how do they picture they future with their s/o?)
In every possible future he envisions, you are there. To Ace, there is no future unless you are with him. It’ll be the two of you living life to the absolute fullest, taking it day-by-day.
He isn’t too keen on having (biological) children as he doesn’t want them to be burdened with the blood of Gol D. Roger.
E-Equal (are they the dominant one in the relationship or rather passive?)
He tends to take the more dominant role in the relationship. It’s just his natural personality that seeps through, it’s truly not intentional. He’s confident and loud so there’s not really any way you can’t not listen to him. However, if you were to voice any opinions or comments, you’ve got all his attention!
F-Fight (would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?)
I talk about his fights with his s/o a little in his angst alphabet. Here it is again!
Fights with Ace, although they don’t happen often, can quickly get out of hand. He’s stubborn and his inability to accept that he’s not always right can cause a minor disagreement to escalate into an all-out fight. On a few occasions you have argued about him never turning his back on an opponent.
Your fights tend to be followed by cooldown time. Things can get quite heated (no pun intended) so you need some alone time and space to breathe. After that though, you comeback together and apologize.
G-Gratitude (how grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?)
Ace felt unloved and unwanted by the world growing up (save for Luffy and Sabo, oh and Dadan), so it was quite the change to experience the unconditional love you provided him. He will forever be grateful for what you have done for him, in fact, he’s so grateful about it that he can never shut up about it! Much like how he gushes about his ‘stupid kid brother’ to the Whitebeard Pirates, Ace will also never shut up about you to anyone he talks to. Your name somehow always makes its way into any conversation he has.
H-Honesty (do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?)
The only secret he kept from you was that he was the son of the Pirate King. He was scared that once you knew, you would view him differently. But over time he was able to see that that would never be the case. So, after telling you that, he never kept anything from you ever again. Ace actually finds sharing secrets with you to be a weight off his shoulders.
I-Inspiration (did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?)
You were another person that was able to show Ace he is worthy of being loved. It’s an insecurity of his that will probably never go away, but that’s okay because you’re more than happy to remind him daily.
J-Jealousy (do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?)
I talked about Ace’s jealousy in his angst alphabet! But I’ll go over it again here!
When he gets jealous he turns into such a man child. He’s pouting and moping around while mumbling to himself. He develops quite a petty attitude. If you were to ask him “want to go get something to eat?” he’d respond with “why don’t you just go and ask ____ for some food.” But, as soon as you begin commenting on how jealous he’s acting he’s going to deny it to the end of his days.
K-Kisses (are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?)
I feel as though I may give Ace a little too much credit when it comes to this because I want to think that he’d be one of those amazing kissers, like he just has a knack for it. But in reality, that probably wouldn’t be the case.
Ace is more likely to be quite an overexcited kisser. He’s keen and passionate, that’s for sure. But with your first kiss, he’s a little too keen and tries to move way to fast. After some calming down and a little bit of a giggle to one other he’s in the zone.
L-Love confession (how would they confess to their s/o?)
The two of you are just talking and he’s, unsurprisingly, brought up his brother, Luffy. What is surprising however, is when he tells you how badly he wants you guys to meet each other. Your first reaction was “yeah that stands to reason he wants all of us to meet luffy” but before you could say anything Ace is already going on like “yeah, I just can’t wait to have the two people I love most in the world meet. It’d be real cool” (or something along those lines and probably a little less cheesy LMAO). You just stare at him like “heh?” and he stares at you like “uhhhh… yeah I said what I said?”
M-Marriage (do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?)
Heck yeah, this dude wants to get married! Getting to show you off to everyone? Yes please! Getting to tell you in front of everyone he knows just how much he loves you? BIG YES. Oh, AND a big ass party afterwards? THIS DUDE CANNOT WAIT! Being able to marry you is one of his dreams, and he’s actually been thinking about since the first date you guys went on.
But, he’s really struggling with how to propose to you. He’s gone through every cliché in the book. A ring at the bottom of your glass, in your food, a carriage ride etc. They’re all great ideas but he doesn’t think they suit the dynamic of your relationship. So, he’s going to enlist the help of Whitebeard Pirates and create an elaborate prank (that has a 50/50 chance of going wrong but also still working out exactly as he wanted).
N-Nicknames (what do they call their s/o?)
He likes to call you hot stuff or baby. Initially, these nicknames resulted in a lot of teasing from the other whitebeard pirates but neither of you cared.
O-On cloud nine (what are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?)
Whitebeard and a few of the other division commanders are the first to notice. I mean, it’s not that hard… He is constantly bringing you up in every conversation (if you’re not there) and if you are there, they can’t even get his attention for a moment. You have his undivided attention! It isn’t until Marco or someone says “You’re down baddddd, Ace” that he’s like HUH?
P-PDA (are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?)
Ace loves PDA. He is all about kissing you in front of everyone else. So much so that you constantly get told to “get a room!”. Ace loves to show off his relationship with you to the whole wide world. He’s incredibly proud to have found someone that loves him wholeheartedly.
Q-Quirk (some random ability they have that is beneficial in a relationship?)
Well, thanks to his devil fruit, his body temperature tends to run pretty warm, so you have your own personal heater.
R-Romance (how romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?)
Ace is romantic in his own way, that’s for sure. He expresses his love through teasing and jokes, but also through quality time. He’s big on that. Making sure all his attention is on you so you know just how much he loves you.
S-Support (are they helping their s/o achieve their goals do they believe in them?)
He has so much faith in your ability to achieve your goals. He wants to be able to help you in any way he can, so if you come to him and ask for help, he would be absolutely ecstatic! Ace just wants to be a part of your success story (in the best way possible, I know some people only want to because then they get credited but that’s not why ace wants to do it at all! Nothing makes Ace happier than seeing those he loves achieve their goals).
T-Thrill (do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship or do they prefer certain routine?)
Your relationship is already spiced out enough as it is. He’s got an extremely mischievous personality so is constantly getting up to god knows what, and some how always manages to drag you into it. If anything, your relationship could do with a little more routine (but you both are extremely happy with the way it is).
U-Understanding (how good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?)
Ace is an extremely empathetic individual. He understands a lot more than most, just how awful negative emotions can be (whether that’s sadness, insecurity, anger etc.). So he is quick to your aid whenever something seems to wrong.
V-Value (how important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?)
All relationships in Ace’s life are extremely important to him. He even values them more than his own life. Your relationship is no exception. You’ve shown him love, and accepted him for who he truly is, so there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for you and he makes that very clear every single day.
W-Wild card (a random fluff headcanon?)
He knows all your food orders off by heart. And when I say all your food orders, I mean ALL of them. He knows your food orders for each of your different moods. He memorised them pretty quickly so that he could surprise you with food regardless of your mood.
X-XOXO (Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?)
He is an extremely affectionate individual. Ace is practically attached to your hip at every possible moment. An arm will always be thrown around your waist or shoulders, and he literally wants to spend all day smothering you in kisses. He’s shameless when it comes to affection.
Y-Yearning (how will they cope when they are missing their partner?)
He copes by talking about you to EVERYONE. He tells the crew stories about you (mind you these are stories not only that they’ve heard multiple times, but they were also there to witness themselves). It gets to the point where even Whitebeard is like “ya know what Ace, you can go visit them.”
Z-Zeal (are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind?)
As I said previously, all relationships in Ace’s life are extremely important to him. We saw what lengths he was willing to go to when Thatch was killed by Blackbeard, and you would be no different. In fact, Ace would be willing to do all of that and so much more, if it was for you.

How Could I Have Known?
(A Zosan Fic)
Link to Chapter 1!
Ch. 2 - A Realization Through Smiles
"Shit!" He hissed to himself, putting his face in his hands. There was nothing about any of these feelings he wanted to admit. Yes, he'd had moments like this before, tiny, minuscule moments where he'd felt fondness (or something more) for the cook. When he thought about those moments his face burned in his palms.
He remembered the time they both stayed to watch the ship while the others went off exploring. He watched Sanji prepare food for the crew's return the entire time, always looking away when the chef realized he was being watched. Zoro took the bottle in front of him and poured a hefty amount into the glass and swallowed it in one sip. He didn't want to be reminded of these times but his brain thought otherwise. He blushed as he thought about the time he was forced to help with grocery shopping but ended up enjoying it way more than he wished. Who knew carrying heavy bags could be so fun? And who knew that that cook could memorize an entire shopping list by skimming it twice? It was an impressive sight to see. The trip down memory lane didn't stop there, as much as he tried to find the exit (he wasn't very good with directions, after all). He pictured the time he wandered into a market alone by accident and could only think of that man as he walked down aisles of different ingredients and colorful herbs, buying anything that looked like something they hadn't eaten before. And even better, Sanji's genuine smile of appreciation when he gave him those things was etched into his mind forever. He couldn't stop himself from thinking about that smile. Well, all of the chef’s smiles.
The one he donned when someone would compliment a dish he made was one of his personal favorites. It was subtle and humble, but you could tell it was genuine even if it was small. Then of course there was the stupid grin he sported when he saw Nami, Robin, or any woman on the planet. Zoro didn't like to think about this one, so he moved on quickly, ignoring the jealousy bubbling in his chest. There was a special one he liked to think was just for him in his mind. Anytime that idiot won an argument against Zoro, he'd smile with a mix of pride and sarcasm. It was a look of pure “I told you so.”, but the swordsman loved it nonetheless. Sometimes, he let him win just so he could see it. But above all others, there was one that sat at the top of this imaginary tier list of smiles. Zoro’s face got bright red thinking about it, he tried to blame it on the alcohol. His mind was flooded with every time he had gotten the opportunity to see it, all playing like a series of tiny movies in his head. There weren't very many, but enough to make Zoro feel like he might pass out if this didn't stop. This smile, of course, was reserved for when Sanji would talk about the All Blue. It was the brightest, sweetest, most hopeful smile he'd ever seen, and it was beautiful. Seeing him so authentically happy was something he'd pay to see if he could and he thinks Sanji would be rich if he were able to. He could listen for hours about how there are all kinds of exotic fish swimming together, how the ocean is said to be the bluest blue you could imagine, how it's every chef’s dream and he'd be the one to achieve it. Sanji’s never said these things directly to Zoro, it's usually towards Luffy or Nami or whoever, but even just getting to hear him from afar was enough. Seeing that smile from any distance was enough. He thought about his own dreams on this ship. He wanted to become a master swordsman- the best swordsman in the world. That was a given, and still very true, but he found himself thinking of another motive every so often. He wanted to help Sanji find the All Blue. He wanted to unlock that secret smile he knew would be there when he gazed upon that ocean for the first time. “Fuck everyone who says it doesn't exist,” He said in his mind “He's going to prove you all wrong.”.
With this statement, Zoro finally realized what he'd been thinking about for the past god knows how many minutes. He sighed loudly. He took the bottle in his hand once again and brought it to his mouth, about to take a swig when Sanji’s words rang in his ears. “Fucking hell” he mumbled to no one as he grabbed the glass and filled it with booze. Once again, gulping down all its contents in an instant. He cringed at the feeling of consuming that much alcohol in one go. “Hopefully that'll ground me from whatever the hell is going on.” He said to himself, very quietly. “Like any of this shit means anything anyways.” He lied to himself, pretending it was the truth. Zoro had become very good at making up excuses as to why he holds these moments, smiles, and so many other things so close to him.
He could give you five different reasons as to why he remembers that Sanji's favorite color is the orangey-yellow of a morning sunset, or why certain wines go with certain dishes. He had been able to weakly convince himself that these memories were being imprinted in his mind for no reason, that they all meant nothing. That every time his heart skipped a beat when the cook would make him food meant nothing. That every argument is just an excuse to talk to him meant nothing. But after this? After Sanji had let his guard down around him once? Deflected an argument once? And it was more than enough to make Zoro not only flustered, but relive all these thoughts as well? There was no denying it anymore. There was no lie that even Usopp could create to cover up these feelings. Zoro felt his eyes sting as they started to water with anger. He was an idiot for letting this happen and not killing that affection at the first sight of it. He was foolish to even attempt to convince himself it hadn’t always been something more. That from the moment he stepped foot into Baratie it hadn’t always been something more. His hands moved up to his grassy hair and gripped the messy locks in his fists. What was he going to do? What would any of the crew say if they found out? ...What would Sanji do?
“What would Sanji do if he knew I loved him?”

so I was doing some research after watching movie 6...
...and apparently it was originally written as a comedy
Yeah, I was surprised, too
Baron Omatsuri is not my favorite One Piece movie—Film Z has too many of my favorite tropes to be usurped from that position—but I do think it is the most daring. Of all the supplemental material I’ve seen and read, it feels the least...One Piece-ish.
Yes, that includes the noodle commercials.
If you haven’t seen the movie and can stomach a little spookiness, do yourself a favor and give it a watch. Unlike movies like Strong World or Z that have the look and feel of a manga arc, Movie 6 transplants the Straw Hat Pirates into a world that doesn’t feel like a One Piece story, taking risks and exploring themes that would never fit in the manga proper.
In addition to the obvious changes in art and animation style, there are supernatural elements that don’t make sense within the One Piece world. None of the Straw Hats win a fight—Luffy included, although he is heavily implied to have killed the big bad at the end. The moral of the movie, if it can be said to have a moral, is if you lose the people closest to you, the answer is to forget about them and make new friends. The story ends with many questions left unanswered and the main drama between the crew unresolved.
And, if you allow me to get philosophical for a moment, I wish there were more movies like it. As I wrote in my review of Novel A, I don’t go to supplemental material or side stories looking for a repeat of what’s in the manga. Oda has written 1000 chapters of One Piece—why not spice things up a little and try something different for a change?
I know the answer isn’t that simple, and by their very nature not all risks will pan out. There will be people who don’t like this movie because it’s different, both in look and tone. But there’s something to be said about a creator putting their heart and soul into a work and having it show in the final product.
Which brings us back to the original premise. How does a movie go from a light-hearted comedy based on a variety show theme to...this
Baron Omatsuri was directed by Mamoru Hosoda and came out in 2005. To put that into perspective, the movie was in production when the Luffy vs Usopp fight was first seen in the manga. Manga!Luffy had not yet faced the challenge of an inter-crew disputes when the story was being written and boarded, nor did the creative team have the events of Sabaody and Marineford to see how Luffy would react to the loss of his loved ones. They were working without a full understanding of Luffy’s character, and to a lessor extent the character of the Straw Hat Pirates, and it seems like Oda was much less involved In production than has been in movies since Strong World and beyond.
Likewise, Hosoda had just left a tumultuous situation at Studio Ghibli while working on Howl’s Moving Castle, and if this interview is anything to go by (https://instrangeaeonsblog.wordpress.com/2016/04/24/mamoru-hosoda-on-omatsuri-danshaku-animestyle-interview-part-1/) was going through a lot of personal shit when he was brought on as director. The script he was given was originally written like a variety show—something that was carried over into the various trials seen in the final movie—and meant to be a lighthearted affair after the relatively serious Movie 5 (which I have not seen am thus unable to compare tone).
With that backstory in mind, it’s easy to see how the bickering and backbiting between the Straw Hats early in the movie is a metaphor for Hosoda’s time at Ghibli, which is something he admits to in the interview. Movie 6 feels different than any other One Piece movie because it’s the project of a man who has had to endure the loss of those who he was close with, at least in a professional capacity.
There are moments in Movie 6 where Luffy doesn’t feel like Luffy. More than once a member of the Straw Hats ask him to intervene during arguments, moments Luffy either ignores or doesn’t notice. It’s a version of Water 7 where instead of fighting Usopp, Luffy ignores the underlying differences within his crew, and as a result loses everybody.
The structure of the three trials follows a clear path of deterioration within the crew, the initial goldfish scooping game showing the Straw Hats at their best and inciting the jealousy of the Baron, the ring toss sowing discord among the crew even as they snatch a narrow victory, only for them to be utterly crushed in the third and final challenge as they’re unable help one another survive.
It is somewhat implied that the Breaking of the Fellowship(TM) is magical in nature—that like the One Ring, the Lily Carnation was able to influence the Straw Hat’s thoughts and actions, but this is never stated outright and I prefer the more mundane interpretation: That without strong leadership the Straw Hats fell victim to the manipulative machinations of the Baron, and simply self-destructed as a result. In the end, it’s up to the interpretation of the viewer.
And speaking of things up to interpretation, I love how the Lily Carnation isn’t explained in the slightest. The plant that initially absorbs the Straw Hats looks more like the stem of a devil fruit than a flower, it for some reason rings like a gong when hit, and somehow is able to turn pieces of itself into facsimile of the Baron’s old crew who can somehow move around despite being plans. It’s weird, it’s wonderful, and the element of the unknown works so well in the horror-lite setting.
My personal theory is the island somehow managed to eat a devil fruit which manifests itself as the Lily Carnation (which due to the L/R conflation in Japanese, is pronounced ‘reincarnation’, which I think is a nice touch of foreshadowing that may or may not have been intentional).
(Also, I can’t decide if little chewing animation it makes when it’s eating people or the weird bullseyes it makes when shit gets real are the most terrifying thing in the movie.)
Hmmm, tasty.
Anyway, this is getting long, so here are some final thoughts:
1) This movie has some low key fantastic outfits. The Straw Hats all look very cool without being over designed like a lot of recent movies. Big hat Robin is of course a fave, and makes me really want to see her in a Carmen Sandiego getup.
2) Screenshots do not do the animation of the movie justice. It’s very fluid and has a lot of excellent expressions/poses, although I admit the 3D is jarring at times. Do not let the art put you off if you haven’t seen it
3) Also, I don’t think there’s any shading? Like at all? The movie does a lot of cool stuff with color instead. For example, the scene where Luffy initially loses to the Baron his skin goes all grey, and I thought it was because he was fighting at night, but it stays grey even in the better lighting of the underground tunnels and stays that way until he finds out the Straw Hats are still alive, where it returns to his normal color
4) There’s an extended Benny Hill-type gag when Luffy first chases after the little mustache pirate that’s perfectly timed to the music, and ends when Luffy just uses his power to grab him. The comedic timing is amazing and it’s probably my favorite funny moment in the movie, of which there are several despite the overall darker tone
5) The extended jungle shot from Nami’s POV? Very cool
6) I love how from the earliest scenes nothing is as it seems. The opening text is Robin reading the map, but the storm that’s seen on screen is the one that sank the Baron’s crew. Likewise the whole fancy city is shown to be fake panels early on, the goldfish catching game is a trap, etc., etc. It does a good job clueing the viewer in early that’s something’s very wrong on the island, even if they don’t realize it at first
7) I don’t think this type of movie would work in modern One Piece without somehow nerfing Luffy. Horror works best when the protagonist is weak and vulnerable, and that fits best with a pre-Gear 2/3 Luffy (same with the rest of the crew, tbh. I was waiting for Nami to use her lightning stick during the games, forgetting it hadn’t been boosted yet).
8) I like how there are four captains on the island representing different levels of loss—the Baron has lost his crew and wants to destroy all others because of it, mustache pirate lost his crew and is willing to put it behind him to make new friends, Luffy has freshly lost his crew and hasn’t decided what path he will go, and coward dad hasn’t lost his crew yet but is at risk if he doesn’t change his cowardly ways
9) I think the reason why Chopper was the first Straw Hat to disappear is he’s the most likely to play the part of peacemaker. He’s also the only crew member needing rescuing at the end of the goldfish scoop game, when Luffy foolishly puts his life at risk trying to save him from drowning, just like he recklessly charges the Baron at the end of the movie. Except that time there was no Sanji to save him, leaving Luffy to get his ass thoroughly kicked
10) This is a very good Halloween movie, and I’m glad I watched it in October

Waves hello! If your requests are still open could we please get sfw alphabets: A, D, G, J and T for zoro, law and mihawk? I know you already have a couple of those for zoro so feel free to skip, thanks so much!! <3
Requests are always open hun >:) 🎃
The fact that this blog has been out for a month now and I have 78 followers 💜✨
Sfw Alphabets (A, D, G, J, T) for Zoro, Law, and Mihawk
Zoro
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
Zoro isn't very affectionate, at least that'd what he wants people to think.
He might not be all over you in public but behind closed doors this man will cling to you.
In public, he will fluster up quickly at even the slightest pda. With that being said, the most he'll do is let you lean on him while you two take a nap on the deck.
He'll do small pda that wouldn't cause attention from others such as putting a hand on your shoulder while he talks to you, brush against you walking by, having his leg spread out touching yours as you sit together at lunch, and an arm over the shoulder hug.
If you want more affection in public, you'll have to initiate it yourself. He'll fluster and yell at you but he won't stop you, he'll even grip you harder if you hold his hand and then try to pull away.
In private, he is all over you. It's when he's his most vulnerable.
He's a big cuddle and once he's down and you're in his arms, he's not letting go.
He's not above pretending to be sleep with an iron grip and rolling over ontop of you so you can't leave.
D for Zoro
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
Well, Zoro isn't exactly well known for being gentle, quite the contrary actually.
He does try to be gentle with you though since he knows he can be a bit rough.
If he accidentally hurts you, he'll start to treat you like glass until he's convinced that you're okay.
He's a bit blunt when it comes to emotions so he can and will hurt your feelings from time to time.
He doesn't mean to, he just doesn't think before he speaks which means some things can be harsh and hurtful.
If he sees that your feelings are hurt, he'll apologize but tell you to not be so sensitive.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
Zoro doesn't really get jealous because he trusts you a lot, if he didn't trust you, there would be no relationship at all.
If someone comes and flirts with you, he'll let you handle it unless he needs to get involved.
He can't really blame others for flirting with you because you are beautiful, he knows.
The only time he ever gets jealous is when Sanji is all over you. That results in them fighting and since Sanji does it every day, they are constantly fighting over it.
If Sanji so much as looks in your direction for more than 3 seconds, Zoro is down his throat.
A jealous Zoro is not something you want. He'll get moody and since he's not good with emotions, he'll go train and close himself off from you until he stops pouting.
OR a jealous Zoro is something you do want because it'll make him cling to you in public, letting everyone know that you're his and he will kiss you in front of them.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
He's not good with dates, anniversaries, or gifts lmao. He's so hopeless that the crew has to help him. (Refuses help from Sanji but then accepts it after a shouting fight)
He does try but he's completely hopeless without help.
By himself, he would probably take you into the crows nest and have you watch him workout for a date.
He's really bad at remembering specific dates so the crew will have to remind him and he would still forget.
He would make an effort to shower and throw his tracksuit on while Sanji makes you two a dinner (he didn't want to help but with a bit of convincing from Nami, he was happy to help, for you of course)
He isn't really a gift-giver so you won't get gifts a lot and they're random.
For a gift, he would get you small trinkets that remind him of you or something that you pointed out so he know you'll like it.
If you haven't pointed anything out then he'll ask Nami and Robin what he should get and goes from there.
If Zoro isn't training, he's sleeping. With that being said, the man is lazy when he's doing everyday tasks. He does the bare minimum unless they're important, then he takes them seriously and does his best.
Law
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
He obviously isn't very affectionate and will not initiate anything in public and would prefer for you to do the same.
He won't even hold your hand walking out in public, and will pull his hand away if you try it.
He doesn't want to deal with teasing from the crew so he doesn't do much in front of them either.
At most he would kiss your forehead and that's it.
In private he would let you do whatever you want to him, he's touch starved but will never admit it.
He'll spoon you while cuddling, he won't be the little spoon even if you ask. (he wants to be the little spoon but is embarrassed by it so spoon him anyways)
He'll let you sit on his lap while he's doing paperwork, will also absentmindedly play with your hair as he works.
Loves to fall asleep on your chest listening to your heartbeat, it lets him know that you're alive and is is he.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Law doesn’t think about settling down
He is kinda on a suicide mission to defeat Doflamingo but he doesn’t think about the future other than that.
But after that goes down he does think about it from time to time.
He's at a crossroad with it, he wants to settle down but he doesn't at the same time.
He's already a captain to a pirate crew so he protects them and knows that something can happen to any one of them any day.
Law can cook basic foods but nothing spectacular.
He can make a small 3-course meal but anything other than that, he'd need some help or he'll burn it.
He is good with his hands so his vegetables are cut up nicely.
He is a very good cleaner and will clean without being told.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
He’s gentle but not at the same time.
He doesn’t try to be gentle with you because he knows that you're a pirate and you can handle yourself, especially if you're in a relationship with him.
If he accidentally hurt you, it would catch both you and him off guard. He would quickly tend to your wounds without making eye contact.
You would have to tell him that it's okay and that you're fine.
He'll apologize and be a bit soft with you for the rest of the day. (which means you can get away with anything so go wild)
He treats you just like he does the crew, like family because that's what you are to him so he takes things seriously.
He will say what has to be said without sugar coating but will not try to hurt your feelings.
He will try not to be rough with you when it comes to certain things that are important and will have an impact on the future but if you're not listening to what he's saying then he does get a bit harsh.
He does try to be mindful of the way you feel but he does have a soft spot for you so if you get hurt from what he said, he'll sigh and apologize but stand by what he said.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
He does tend to get jealous, not a lot but it happens.
It wouldn't be because of someone flirting with you, he knows they don't have a chance with you.
He gets jealous that someone else has your attention and that you're spending more time with someone else than you are with him.
He would give a death glare and not speak for the rest of the day. He will never admit that he’s jealous and will close himself off to working all-day.
He will pout in his own way and will ignore you until you say something to him. Even then he'll deny that he's jealous and won't get over it until you both cuddle and talk it out.
It does embarrass him so if you tease him about it, he will completely shut down and leave for a while until you apologize.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
Law makes an effort to make you happy.
He knows that you really look forward to dates and anniversaries since you two don't spend a lot of time together since he's always busy.
He plans dates out months early and plans out every little detail.
The crew will want to help and of course, he'll deny but they end up helping anyways.
Since he's not really a romantic guy he does struggle a little bit so he'll ask you certain questions without letting off the fact that he's planning something.
He would most likely have a lunch date; a picnic on an island where you two could be isolated from other people and any interruptions.
Anniversaries are the same but instead of lunch, it's dinner.
That entire day he's busy so he makes sure the crew keeps you distracted and not find out about the plans of the night.
He's obviously good with everyday tasks since he is the captain of a rowdy crew.
He prefers to do things correctly the first time so he doesn't have to go back and do them a second time.
He's a very good listener and he remembers everything so if you mention something you liked on the island you're on, he'll get it for you.
If it's something you didn't point out then it's something that he knows you would like and it's probably something pertaining to your hobby or a collection that you have.
Mihawk
A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)
He isn’t affectionate at all in public but he is in private.
He’s a private man so he doesn’t want everyone in his business.
He will not initiate any pda except a hand on the small of your back as you two walk but that’s about it.
You could initiate hand holding and he’ll keep it but anything other than that, he’ll shut it down.
He’ll kindly ask you to stop and save it for privacy. It makes him uncomfortable and slightly embarrasses him and not in the cute way.
In private, he’ll let you initiate any pda you want.
He’ll hold your hand and give it a kiss, kiss your forehead, have you sitting on his lap infront of the fireplace as you two read drinking wine and even soak in a bubble bath with you.
He won't necessarily cuddle with you but if you snuggle up to him then he won't complain.
D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
Deep down he does truly want to settle down, he isn’t getting any younger.
He wouldn’t be open with it until he knows for sure that you yourself want to settle down as well.
Mihawk is one of the best cooks out there, he cooks entire meals and they are always delicious.
He never burns anything or cooks anything under done.
He is a clean man, he’s good at cleaning and will clean without being asked to.
If he sees something dirty, he’ll just simply clean it up.
He doesn't like for things to be dirty and will tell you to clean up after yourself.
G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
Mihawk is gentle with you, he is a gentleman after all.
He treats you with the utmost care and acts as if you're fragile.
It's extremely rare that he would actually accidentally hurt you, it would be if you two training.
He would make sure you were okay, tend to any wounds and then apologize. He’ll do anything you want and get anything you need to make you feel better.
He's not gentle with his wording or your feelings.
He always thinks before he speaks, he thinks of what he’s going to say, how he’s going to say it and your reaction.
He does not sugarcoat anything and will say it as it is. If it hurts your feelings, he won't apologize because he meant it.
J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
Mihawk? Jealous? No, that doesn't happen.
Then man already prefers to be alone and since you two are together, that means he has complete trust in you.
He is friends with Shanks after all.
But on the extremely rare occasion that he is jealous, he would just watch you and the other figure that has your attention.
He'll put his wine down and glare at the other person until they get the hint to back off.
He doesn't pout or cause a scene, but afterward, he will confront you and tell you how he felt.
T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
Mihawk puts extreme effort into dates and anniversaries.
He plans everything out and makes sure that nothing can and will possibly go wrong.
For dates, he'll take you to a neighboring island to explore and try the food they have there or he’ll take you on a walk and bring you inside for a candlelit dinner with some of his best wine.
For an anniversary, he goes all out.
He's a romantic man, he makes sure you don't lift a finger the entire day.
He already is up before you so he makes you breakfast in bed with coffee or juice and with the newspaper if you read it.
Your favorite meal is made, a bubble bath with rose petals and wine with your favorite scented candles.
He'll play soft music and slow dance with you, you are his weakness so anything you want, you will get.
He'll get you trinkets and knickknacks that remind him of you or something you mentioned in a conversation.
He'll sometimes bring you jewelry but if he's gone for a while he will come back with your favorite flowers.
