If you’re in the mood for a grooving house track to help you through the midweek blues, look no further than this stunner from rising producer/DJ, astrofunk, and his latest cut, “_causethe.80s.”

Beginning with a strong kick drum driving the track, astrofunk transitions us to some strong bassline progressions that provide a perfect low-end to the track while some nice pads ring out on top, providing a smooth aural effect. The track flows brilliantly, with astrofunk knowing just when to remove and add elements to keep things moving and interesting. I’m a massive fan of this steady bassline, but also of the breakdown in the middle of the track which gives a great ambient feel before astrofunk opens the filter on the bass to take the track back up to a grooving house tune.
