You had just taken strawberry cupcakes out of the oven, when you heard the door open and Eunwoo step through it. He hung his coat, took off his shoes, ran a hand through his hair, and quickly stepped into the kitchen once his nose picked up on the sweet smell.
You smiled, placing the oven mitts aside, and going to hug him. His attention was on you while the hug lasted, but as soon as you stepped aside, he walked over to the cooling rack where the bare cupcakes were placed.
“Those look yummy-”
“Don’t even try it. I haven’t even iced them yet.” You stopped him.
“But-” His hand went to grab one, and you quickly slapped it away.
“Get your hands off my cupcakes.” You brandished a whisk like a weapon, threatening your boyfriend. He giggled, backing away.
“But I'll get some once you're done, right?” He asked, leaning against the counter and watching you get out the ingredients to make icing.
“Nope, I made them for Bin, not for you.” You lied, keeping a straight face and grabbing a measuring spoon. The look of betrayal on Eunwoo’s face was priceless as he believed your words in an instant.
You burst out laughing, walking over to him. “Of course you get some once I’m done.” You smiled, “They’re for you, not for Bin. You’ve been working hard lately, so I thought you could use something sweet.”
He was smiling by now, and you reached up to boop his nose, finding him exceptionally cute in the moment. “Plus, how could I resist a face like yours?” You smiled, making him laugh.
“You can have as many as you’d like, but wait until I’m finished with them.” You told him, going back to the stovetop where you were melting sugar to make a syrup for the icing.
“Do you need help?” He asked, coming up beside you and peering into the small pan.
“By ‘help’ do you mean ‘handsome distraction’?” You asked, mixing the sugar. “With a face like yours, I’ll just end up forgetting about the cupcakes altogether.”
“Really?” He asked, a mischievous expression growing on his face. “Am I that distracting?” He whispered in your ear, knowing exactly what his affect on you was.
Your cheeks brightened, “I’m gonna burn the sugar, go away…” You muttered.
He sighed, “Okay… I don’t want you to blame me for ruining the cupcakes.” He kissed your blushing cheek, “I’ll go now.” Flashing you a cute smile, he walked out of the kitchen, and you exhaled.
Your hand went up to your cheek, feeling how hot it had become. “Eunwoo, why do you affect me this much…?” You shook off your flustered feeling, going back to mixing up the icing.
You were just starting to ice the cupcakes, making pretty swirl designs and roses out of icing, when Eunwoo walked into the kitchen again. You looked up, watching him inch towards you as if he was trying to be subtle.
“I know I said that I would leave, but…” He started, coming up next to you, “I missed you.” He pouted.
You smiled, taking his wrists and wrapping them around your waist, as you could see he wanted to hug you, but also didn’t want to distract you again.
“I’m just icing the cupcakes, it doesn’t take much concentration. There’s no sugar that I could burn if I’m not careful.” You explained, your words encouraging him to hug you tighter. “So, you can stay.”
He rested his head on your shoulder, watching your hands intently as they iced one cupcake after another.
“Can I try?” He asked.
“Sure, if you want to.” You handed him the piping bag and instructed him on how to use it properly.
“Put pressure from the top of the bag, or it won’t come out as easily. And make sure it’s twisted around several times or you might make a mess.” You explained to him, before giving him a cupcake.
He hovered over the cupcake with the piping bag nervously, before starting to ice it. He tried to copy one of your pretty swirls, but ended up with an uneven blob.
“I thought it would be easy-” He said, staring at his creation with confusion on how he managed to mess up that bad.
You laughed looking at his cupcake, “Here, I’ll demonstrate.” You took the bag back from him, twisting it again and holding it above a cupcake. You applied even pressure, squeezing the icing out, and creating a perfect swirl of icing. “Like that.”
Eunwoo tilted his head, “That doesn’t-” He took back the bag from you, and grabbed another cupcake. He did a bit better this time, but the results were still clearly lacking compared to yours.
You giggled at his stumped face. “You’ll get better eventually. It just takes some practice.” You finished the last cupcake quickly, handing it over to Eunwoo to try once it had been adorned with icing. He took a bite, smiling once he tasted it.
“Is it good?”
“It’s really tasty, baby. How many of these did you make-”
You laughed, “Are they that good?”
He nodded quickly, laughing afterwards, “Can you bake for me more often?”
“That might take some convincing…”
“Like what?” He asked, finishing the cupcake.
“A kiss?”
“I think I might be able to manage that.” He mused, pulling you closer. He kissed you, and you could taste the sweet strawberry flavour from the cupcakes on his lips, making you smile.
“Was that convincing enough?” Eunwoo asked against your lips, and you nodded.
“You’re very convincing.”

afraid of love
Tumblr media
Exhausted from the intensity of the night before, you sank into the comforting embrace of your fluffy bed. But even in the tranquility of your room, your mind raced with memories of Eun Woo.
Did he make it so Seoul already?
Images of last night flooded your consciousness like a vivid, intoxicating dream.
Heated kisses on every inch of your body ignited a fire within you, each touch sending shivers down your spine and leaving you breathless with desire. Eun Woo's lips, soft and insistent, traced a path of passion across your skin.
His dark, brown eyes seemed to peer into the depths of your soul, stripping away all pretense and laying bare the raw, unfiltered emotions that lay hidden within. In those moments, it felt as though you were the only two people in the world, lost in a shared intimacy that transcended words.
Your bodies intertwined for hours, moving together in a dance of ecstasy and longing. Every touch was a symphony of pleasure that left you both gasping for breath.
Dirty promises were whispered into your ear, each word sending a jolt of electricity coursing through your veins. In the darkness of the night, with only the sound of your ragged breaths to fill the silence, you reveled in the shared intimacy of your whispered confessions, each promise a testament to the passion that burned between you.
As the night wore on, you both became a canvas for each other's desires, covering each other in colorful marks that served as a physical reminder of the passion that had ignited between you.
And as sleep finally claimed you both, you drifted off in his strong embrace, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat lulling you into a peaceful slumber. In that moment, wrapped in each other's arms, you knew that you had found something special, a connection that transcended the physical and reached deep into the depths of your soul.
Adrenaline flooded your system as you thought off all the things you did last night.
Or three nights prior to that. You matched on a random Sunday, after being abstinent from dating for a long time. Eun Woo was in town only for a couple of days for a video shoot but that didn’t stop him from having a good time.
He had been single for years after having his heart shattered by his first love. Ever since, he toyed with women as he pleased.
The first date was spent in his apartment, eating, and talking, cuddling, and fucking.
He was a passionate lover, even though he was starving for love and affection. The second date was a spontaneous invitation late at night, after all his mandatory meetings had been dealt with.
You repeated the first date’s actions but this time it felt more familiar, already knowing what you liked and needed. Eun Woo gave you his all, adoring you in every way he could.
Until he had to leave.
You remembered the sound of his alarm clock this morning, way too early and too sudden. He shifted in his sleep, groaning as he did not want to leave you.
Kisses on your neck were accompanied by his fingers entering you, sighing in appreciation. “God, you feel so fucking good, y/n.”
Minutes after he was gone, catching his plane back to Seoul. You put your fingers on your lips, looking for the traces he had left. The sudden vibration of your phone brought you back into the present moment.
I landed. Tired as fuck though. How are you?
Missing you.
You didn’t want to get your hopes up – after all he didn’t even live in the same country. This was nothing but a repeated one-night stand, right? You thought back to the conversation you had before falling asleep.
“Do you think there is a future for us?”
He caught you off guard with this question, making you panic to find the right words.
“That depends on how well you treat me, Eun Woo”, you mocked jokingly.
He broke into laughter, loving your sassy side.
“I will love the ground you walk on, my queen. How about that?”
You joined in on his laughter and turned to face him, staring into his beautiful eyes.
“Do you mean it?”
He nodded.
Did you really mean it, though?
Oh, good! Seoul has you back then 😉 Lying in bed and cuddling my plushie since you’re gone…
Did that sound stupid?
Your insecurities churned within you, suddenly you were hyper-aware of everything you said and did.
Haha
That’s it?
You felt sick to your stomach as you took that as confirmation. After all, you were right about him. He only used you for some fun during his trip. And now he’s back in his real life, in which you had no place in.
This was nothing but fun to him. Nothing but a repeated one-night stand.
Brrrr.
Brrrr.
Brrrrr.
What the fuck?
Barely awake you searched for your phone on your nightstand.
3:33 AM.
Who the fuck texts me at this hour?
You were instantly awake as you realized who it was.
Eun Woo.
I have no idea if you’re awake. You’re probably asleep. And I shouldn’t blow up your phone. But I can’t help myself.
Anxiety formed in your stomach.
What was that supposed to mean?
Are you okay?
It took him seconds to answer.
You’re awake? Did I wake you? I’m sorry.
You sat up in bed, anxiously typing your reply.
It’s alright. Why are you up? Everything okay?
You saw him type his reply for minutes, driving you crazy in your heightened state.
No. Nothing is okay. I can’t stop thinking about you.
You swore your heart skipped a beat.
Did I read that right?
I can’t stop thinking about you and it drives me crazy.
You gasped, trying to think of a reply.
You make it sound like it’s a bad thing…
Countless messages followed.
It is. Because you are not here with me. And I’m not there with you. I… I didn’t want to leave you this morning. I wanted to stay. With you, y/n. I really wanted to stay.
You pinched yourself, unsure if this was real.
Ouch.
Definitely real.
I know I sound crazy. Maybe I am. But I have fallen for you. HARD. The last hours I’ve thought about how I can manage to come back to your city. Or how I could persuade you to come visit me in Seoul. I almost popped a blood vessel thinking of ways. What did you do to me?
You chuckled. Relief washed over you, since he felt the same way you did.
I keep replaying last night over and over. How mesmerizing it felt to look into your beautiful eyes. How amazing it felt to kiss you. How mind-blowing it felt to be inside you. Oh god and speaking of blowing. The way your juicy lips wrapped around my cock? I’m losing my mind here, y/n. I’ve jerked off twice and still I couldn’t fall asleep. Or stop thinking about you. I’m a simp now, aren’t I? Look what you turned me into.
You were in shock.
Hours ago, you thought he would abandon you and go on with his life but here he was, confessing his desire for you. Making it obvious that he wants to continue this and get to know you better.
Now is the time to get my hopes up, right?
Do you want me to fly over?
You felt brave asking, believing in your chance at love for once.
Already checking flights, babe.
A broad smile formed on your lips.
I can’t believe this.
He is serious, isn’t he?
I can’t wait to be with you, y/n. I really fucking mean it. And that scares me the most.
You understood him perfectly, especially since the connection between you was so strong. This was nothing like you had ever encountered before. It scared you just as much, but you were willing to try.
Hey, uhm… Wanna be scared together?

Slow Dancing
Tumblr media
"Let's skip," your partner said as they stepped into the kitchen. You hummed in thought before voicing your agreement. While it was a small shame since the both of you were already dressed up but in reality, you were more than happy to stay home.
"Imma go change then."
"Wait," they said, stopping you from exiting the open space. You watched as they fiddled with their phone before soft music came through the speakers. You raised an eyebrow in amusement, barely able to hide the smile growing on your face. Your partner pulled you in close by your waist and the two of you began swaying. "We can just have our own private party; it'd be a pity to change when you look so good tonight." Heat rushed to your cheeks, they could be such a sap. You decided to say nothing in response, instead lessening the small space between you guys. Staring at them with stars in your eyes as you knew you might be the luckiest person alive to be with them.

Ko-fi - Voluntary Tip for Readings
Tumblr media
Lee Dong Min
Cha Eunwoo (ASTRO)
Deck: Mythic Goddess Tarot
Spread: Ideal Partner
Body - XVIII The Moon (Selene - Illusion)
Eunwoo’s significant other shouldn’t be taken at face value. They might seem plain or even invisible but they possess great intuition. They literally flow through life and simply bypass difficulties or obstacles on their way. Their voice might be quiet, deep, and nearly hypnotic. Their eyes are usually veiled as they often introspect. Maybe they don’t talk often but when they do, it turns out to be true. Their intuition is more accurate than other people’s certainty, therefore they are considered to be very wise and perceptive.
Heart - 8 of Swords (Restriction)
While Eunwoo’s ideal partner’s intuition is casting the light on their way, they might feel trapped at heart. They might feel like others simply don’t understand them, and can't keep up with the flow of their thoughts. And it’s possibly true, as this person is likely highly intelligent and probably prefers to observe others and study them then to actually socialise. They might seem to be standing outside all the social circles, watching calmly and staying out of the drama.
Spirit - 5 of Wands (Conflict)
Seemingly calm and untouchable, Eunwoo’s destined lover is likely battling themselves deep inside. They might feel torn between the desire to stay above things and the need to actually share their ideas and thoughts with others. They genuinely believe they could make the world a better place, if only all those people quieted for a little bit and listened to what they had to say. Eunwoo’s ideal partner likes to stick to the facts and prefers to solve issues with a cool head while people around them are loud and easily give in to their emotions, which can feel frustrating and chaotic.
Soul - 3 of Cups (Friendship)
Deep down in their soul, Eunwoo’s special person is a warm and friendly creature. They might not know how exactly to express it, they might feel and act awkward when they try to show affection, but they truly care. They have a kind heart, good sense of humour and they actually love to smile and laugh. Only need someone to find someone who will actually make the effort to approach them and make them chuckle. Once they are close to someone, they become so adorable and playful.
Time - Ace of Cups (Tenderness)
It is possible Eunwoo already knows or met his perfect match. They might have become friends. However, Eunwoo will never consider them anything more until they overcome the natural shyness and show their more tender and loving side to him. It might come as a pleasant shock to Eunwoo to suddenly realise that the person he always considered to be reliable and wise, is also attractive in a different way. Once he makes this discovery, there’s no way back, though. Falling in love is inevitable and fatal.
Place - 6 of Wands (Triumph)
If Eunwoo decides to share a home with his special person, it’s gonna be a success on all fronts. They simply click, they create an inspiring and warm home full of fun, love and laughter. They might even incite a bit of envy in others as Eunwoo and his lover become stronger and more powerful when they are together.

Promise you won't tell him? ; Cha Eunwoo
Imagine being married to your colleague, Lee Dongmin, after having a crush on him for a whole year. He was your first so it was quite obvious that you do have not much experience in confessing. Even after a month into the marriage, you never said that you like him like crazy until you got drunk on one of the nights at the company dinner.
"My husband is very handsome and.. and sweet," you mumbled. Your head already leaning against your husband.
"I know this won't make sense since I fall in love first and we got married but I never tell him any of this,"
"I just think he's wonderful. Haha, I just told you a secret, don't tell him. Promise?"
Lee Dongmin fixed his jacket around your shoulder as he listened. At the end of your confession, he chuckled and replied gently, "I promise,"

The Ledger of Hearts | Peace and Chaos | The Fall
Tumblr media
You were falling. Alone.
Wheezing out a laugh, you were impressed that Eunwoo had lured you into this descent. You had always been one for a dare, and when he had suggested you both jump off the bridge that connected the portals to heaven and hell, you had only done it because he was at your side.
Clever saint.
It was hard to see where you were going exactly. Time was irrelevant, but you could tell that the longer you fell, the faster you went. You were burning through realms, bursting through one indistinguishable scenery into another, the briefest amount of pain shredding through you at each interval. It seemed as if you would keep falling forever.
A just punishment for a demon who wished for more than your stack.
And then, he was in front of you. Or beneath you. His warm eyes caught yours, wide and frightened, yes, but also full of determination after finding you again. You attempted to smile, and you were certain the tears in your eyes weren’t just from the speed you were both descending at. Reaching out for him, you wrapped your arms around his broad shoulders, burying your head into his neck.
Eunwoo was panting, the strain on his body beneath yours evident. Still, you clung to him, legs wrapped around his waist and arms folded over the other. If you were to fall for eternity, at least you would be together.
An unfurling happened around you, and with a strength you shouldn’t possess now, you pulled back a fraction to see shimmering white wings spread out wide, attempting to slow your fall. You gasped when you realised it was working, and yet, feathers were loosening and flying by your face in clumps.
“Your wings!” you cried in horror, Eunwoo’s jaw clamped tightly against the strain. You hadn’t known that saints could have wings. Perhaps his position above had been more powerful than you had assumed.
Delving inside, you pushed out your remaining magic, not being sure why you hadn’t thought to do something aside from fall at such a grand pace before. Curls of darkness caressed what remained of his almost bare wings, protecting them from further damage.
He smiled with relief, relaxing his jaw a little as his hand rose to meet the side of your face. “You were scared, little hellion.”
“Of course. I couldn’t see you.”
“We chose this together,” he reminded, and you nodded, nuzzling his hand. You barely had a moment more before you crashed into the unknown, the very life being knocked out of you.
For uncounted moments, you considered your death had arrived. You could see nor hear anything, and Eunwoo’s warmth was gone from your embrace. Whilst you felt no pain, you assumed you must have broken entirely upon impact.
Blinking slowly, the haze of the world around you began to clear. You were in a mortal land, though you weren’t sure where. Hesitantly lifting your hands to your face, you noticed your skin was no longer luminous, your fingernails now painted and round instead of claws. Pulling yourself up off the ground, you tried to understand what had happened.
“Are you alright?” a familiar voice asked, and when you turned around, you stared at the man before you.
Gone were the wings, the heavenly glow. The man before you was simply that. No longer a saint, for he had officially fallen from piety. And a demon such as you? Had you been given some level of grace?
Eunwoo shifted forward, uncaring of the people that stepped around you in this strange metropolitan. “We dared to dream for more than peace and chaos, my love. Are you happy with our choice?”
“We’re now mortal.”
“It appears so.”
“We answer to no one but ourselves,” you continued, and Eunwoo sighed, giving a slight look to the heavens above. You chuckled. “I will not follow His lead.”
“No, but will you follow mine?”
Leaning in to kiss him, you smiled against his lips. “Always.”

The winding line shuffles forward up the stairs. Everyone inches forward as another person’s excited screams fill the tube of the slide above you. The sun beats down on your head in a feeble attempt to drain your energy but you refuse to let the evil rays ruin your outing. The line for this particular slide may be excruciatingly horrific but everyone who has ridden it sings its praises. There’s no way you're missing out on this one.
Swatting your hand back and forth to stimulate a fake breeze, you look around. People are laughing and chatting with their friends, hurrying to and fro from one slide or another, oblivious to your plight. They haven’t a care in the world. Scrunching up your face, you tap your foot while leaning back and forth, letting out a long sigh. You’d left your friends at the lazy river for this.
A small ‘ahem’ comes from behind you and if you had been talking or even just swallowing you may not have heard it. Turning towards the guy behind you with a raised brow, you inhale sharply as your eyes wander over him, taking him in. His black swim shorts match his swept back hair that reveals a gorgeous face beneath. He is showstopping stunning. Perfect features and bone structure that could make any woman swoon. He’s tall, thin, but also toned and all you can think about is what his face would look like between your legs.
He motions behind you with a small smile and you realise the line has shifted. Apologising, you close the gap with four large steps, surprised no one else said anything and glad you weren’t yelled at. Even so, heat spreads across your cheeks.
A few minutes later a commotion erupts behind you and before you can turn to see what’s happening you’re slammed up against the person in front of you. Everyone is tangled together in an angry mess for a few moments before the back of the line calms down. The gorgeous guy behind you apologises. Everyone is shouting but all you can hear is your heartbeat as his hands find their way to your hips.

The squeak of Eunwoo’s shoes on the court and the thump of the basketball as he dribbled it across the court were sounds you had become very accustomed to. After starting to date the school’s jock, you changed your scenery from the quietness of the library to the bustling atmosphere of the school gymnasium.
You didn’t mind it that much. You would spread your work out over the bleachers, working on your many projects whilst watching Eunwoo practice. Making friends with students on the sports teams was good for you as well. You needed to “branch out”, as your mom often told you, and you were finally doing it.
You had stuck to your nerdy, studious, straight-a students friend group since 2nd grade, but you were halfway through highschool now. You had taken the push yourself to show up to one of the school events but ended up spending most of it sitting by yourself and eating snacks. Eunwoo must have caught sight of you from the other side of the room, because he had joined you at your table.
One thing led to another and before you knew it you had Eunwoo falling head first for you. You weren’t quite sure how you did it, or what special charms you possessed, but he was completely in love with you.
You caught yourself staring at your boyfriend as you thought about this. Your chemistry homework laid out next to you, but it was being completely neglected. You couldn’t get yourself to look away from him, watching the slight sheen of sweat on his skin making his face look like it was glowing.
You watched his lips grow into a slight smirk and you knew you had been caught. You looked back at your work, pretending like you had been looking at it the whole time and hoping he wouldn’t tease you about it.
But he would never give up the opportunity to tease you.
“I know I’m handsome, babe. You don’t have to remind me of that fact.” He said, still shooting baskets with ease.
“Don’t know what you’re talking about…” You mumbled back with a scoff. He stopped shooting, holding the ball between his side and arm.
“You’ve been studying ever since classes ended…” He started with a pout and you had your guesses as to where this was going.
“So? Finals are coming up soon anyway.” You muttered, clicking your mechanical pencil for more lead. You looked back at your boyfriend and then back down. You held your breath and counted in your head, closing your eyes as you completely expected what would happen next. You were sure he was going to ask you to go out on a date in 3… 2… 1.
“Want to try shooting a hoop?”
“Sure- What?” You looked up with wide eyes. Those were not the words you expected to come out of Eunwoo’s mouth. “I thought you would ask to go on a date. That’s what you always ask.”
Eunwoo grinned and shook his head, knowing he had tricked you into saying yes when you otherwise would’ve said no. He motioned you to come over to him, sly glint in his eyes making you nervous.
“What do I get out of this? I have chem homework.” You complained as Eunwoo grabbed your wrist and walked you over a little bit closer than a 3-pointer range to make it easier for you.
“Come on, we both know you were not studying. And for every point you get, I’ll give you a kiss, okay?”
“Hmm… convincing offer. You won’t cheat me out, right?” You gave him a serious stare, studying his face to see if he was in an extra teasing mood today or would actually deliver on his promise. You couldn’t quite tell because he put on an innocent look, pursing his lips and avoiding eye contact slightly.
“Fine, I’ll do it. 1 kiss for every basketball in the hoop.” You grabbed the ball from Eunwoo’s hands, shaking your head slightly at his celebratory smile.
“Hold the ball like this,” Eunwoo instructed, coming up behind you and guiding your hands, “And then flick your wrist as you aim to shoot.” He whispered in your ear, sending shivers down your spine and making the tips of your ears tint red.
You nervously jumped as you tried to aim the ball in a way that would go in, but you missed horribly. Eunwoo didn’t tease you, though. He caught the ball as it was bouncing back, doing some fancy dribbling before throwing it towards you to catch.
“Don’t try to impress me with your fancy techniques. It won’t work.” You told him, eyeing the net to try to find a better angle.
“No, it will,” Eunwoo commented, “It already has judging by the way you’re blushing.” He reached out his hand, brushing his fingers against your pink cheek softly.
“What… are you doing?” You whispered, voice caught in your throat.
Eunwoo leaned in, and your eyes shut on instinct, getting up on your tiptoes to reach his lips. But instead of the soft kiss you were expecting, you heard Eunwoo’s giggles.
You opened your eyes, cheeks burning from more than just shyness now. You glared at your boyfriend and the kiss that he had taken from you.
“What? You haven’t scored yet. 1 kiss for 1 point, remember?” He raised his eyebrow.
You groaned, “I’ve never had to work so hard for a kiss in my life.” You shot the basketball again. It almost made it into the hoop, only to teeter off the edge at the last moment. You picked it up immediately, shooting again, and then again after that since you kept missing.
“You're very determined to get that kiss, huh?”
“Shh, you’ll break my concentration.” You tried one more time, hitting the board, but the ball seemed to refuse to go in the net.
“Let me help you.” Eunwoo stepped behind you, hands on yours to guide you. You let him aim and shoot, letting go of your pride to do it all on your own. You just wanted to get that kiss by any means.
This time, the ball went in smoothly, and you were sure it was all Eunwoo’s doing. You didn’t give him enough time to make an excuse as you spinned around and pressed your lips to his. He kissed back without hesitating, even going so far to pick you up and spin you around once before setting you back down on your feet and breaking the kiss.
“You did well.” Eunwoo said, smiling at you lovingly.
“That chem homework is never gonna get done, but who cares?” You grinned, clasping Eunwoo’s hand in yours and pulling him across the gym floor.
“Where are we going?”
“On a date.”
“Why all of a sudden?” Eunwoo laughed.
“Don’t question it.”

Unraveling fate
Tumblr media
It is said that humans live a blissful life as souls up in the sky before they decide to incarnate onto the earthly realms.
Up there everything is effortless and sweet, so perfect that we couldn’t ever imagine it properly. Yet, they decide to give up their eden perfection to come down to earth. Why you may ask?
Because they get bored. Too much of anything is deadly, even if it’s something as precious as blissful love.
Hence, they make plans to come down to earth in order to play. Some souls are rather boring, whereas other souls are quite dramatic - making up a full play for them to enjoy. They look for other souls to play their part - mothers, fathers, villains or lovers.
„You’re gonna do this to me and I’m gonna do that to you and we may hate each other for a while but in the end it will be all so sweet“, they giggle while making plots. What they don’t know though is that once their souls incarnate back to earth, they will forget everything they once knew - scheming plans included.
The states of feeling mighty and powerful get replaced with vulnerability and insecurity, divinity in exchange for humanity.
A deep sigh escaped Eun Woo’s lips as he watched you cry into your pillows for the fifth time this week.
„What’s wrong?“, his friend asked concerned.
„It’s y/n.“, he answered flatly.
„What about her?“
Eun Woo turned around and mustered his friend, thinking of the right words to predict his dilemma.
„Do you remember when she used to be with us up here?“
His friend nodded silently.
„Back then we made the perfect plan. We created our own drama, so to say.“
„What was it about?“
Flashbacks of those times entered his mind, filling his heart with a deep longing.
„Are you really sure, y/n?“, Eun Woo whispered while placing delicate kisses on your neck.
„Yes. I want to do it like that this time.“, you nodded enthusiastically.
„My love. Let’s go through the plan once more, then.“
„I will incarnate onto earth and live a miserable life. I will fail in love over and over until I can’t take it anymore. I want to discover love as a fragile, little human. I want to understand their pain and their agony. I want to be miserable, utterly miserable. I want to build my own hell and I want to understand how I’m doing it… And then, once I’m ready, then you show up, BOOM, the love of my life - in heaven and on earth and you rescue me from my deep despair and then we can be..“
„Happy.“, he interrupted.
A big smile formed on your face.
„Yes. Happy.“
„So, why are you so sad then? The plan seems solid.“, Eun Woo’s friend remarked.
„Somehow it’s not. She did fail in love. A lot of times. But somehow she can’t get past that stage..“, Eun Woo explained.
„How can that happen? Isn’t it written in the stars, like destiny?“
„It should be, yes.“
Both stayed silent for a while and thought about ways to resolve this.
„Can’t you just swoop in and rescue her?“
He shook his head sadly.
„Why not?“
„Because she wouldn’t let me.“
„Let you? Aren’t you like… her soulmate?“, his friend asked confused.
„I am. And because of that I will always find my way back to her, heaven or earth, doesn’t really matter. But she’s not ready for me, yet.“
„How can you tell?“
Eun Woo walked over to the shelf where he was keeping his collection of your play. Each act carefully documented, each act waiting for its grand finale. He came back with a heavy book, searching for the right pages.
„Do you know when souls finally find each other?“, Eun Woo asked.
„No idea.“, his friend remarked.
„It’s when they’re ready for one another. Now tell me - do you think this sounds ready?“, he asked as he pushed the book over to his friend.
It’s official - I am unlovable. Seems like everybody and their mother can find the love of their lives but not me. I’m not meant for love. I’m meant for heartbreak. Because that’s what men do - break your heart. First, they use me for sex and then they dispose me like a tissue. Reject me. Abandon me. Block me.
Relationships suck. Love sucks. This is too hard and it always ends in pain. Fuck this shit, I’m going to die alone. Because apparently nobody wants to be with me. Or get to know me. I’m just not someone you fall in love with.
„Yikes“, Eun Woo’s friend flinched. „Gotta give it to her - she does sound like a real human though.“, he drily remarked.
Eun Woo rolled his eyes in frustration. This shit was eating him up.
Even if he descended onto earth now and forgot about all your pain, he would never be able to get through to you.
„Men really did a number on her, huh?“, his friend asked.
„It’s what she wanted. Some drama to enjoy our love more. And drama she got…“, he explained sadly.
„So what are you going to do?“
Eun Woo averted his gaze back onto you, watching you from above as you cried and cried and cried.
„Waiting for a miracle, I guess.“
„Aren’t you tired of waiting?“
„What else am I supposed to do?“, he snapped.
„The plan is already rigged, you said so yourself. Can’t you use that to your advantage and rig it further?“, his friend proposed.
Eun Woo thought for a second - could he really do that? Go against fate like that?
Your sobs made his stomach churn once again, he had to act, no matter the consequences.
„Come with me“, he demanded as he left the room.
„Where are we going?“, his friend called after him.
„Rigging the fucking plan.“

You couldn’t escape him. You saw him every single day without fail. His face was everywhere. You two had been friends all throughout your childhood, you grew up together, spent every day of summer break together, had each other's backs all throughout elementary and middle school. When the two of you were fourteen, he got scouted by an agent from an entertainment company who asked him to come audition to be a trainee. You were so excited for him, you knew he’d be a fantastic entertainer, so when he asked you what he should do, you told him to go for it.
And so he did.
And then he never spoke to you again.
You saw him on TV a few years later, he had debuted with a boy group as a vocalist. You almost couldn’t believe it when you saw him, he had debuted under a new name, so you thought it might’ve been another boy that just looked like him. But there was no one else in the world that looked like Lee Dongmin.
You were more than a little bitter about it, you two had been the best of friends throughout your entire lives until he got scouted, and then as soon as he got accepted as a trainee, he completely ghosted you. Not even his parents or brother could tell you why he didn’t ever text you, apparently he refused to tell them.
So now here you are, nearly a decade after he ditched you, a year after you graduated college, and working at your friends cafe because you decided to major in a degree that was nearly impossible to get a job in.
In the years since Dongmin’s debut, he’s only gotten more and more famous. He’s gotten huge acting roles, become an ambassador for some of the biggest brands on the planet, and the entire country was in love with him. It seemed like every single time you opened your phone or turned on your computer, you saw some headline about him like;“The Most Handsome Man In Korea; Cha Eunwoo”, “Cha Eunwoo: Face Genius”, “Cha Eunwoo Dating Rumors”, it was exhausting.
You lived close enough to the cafe to walk to work, and much to your chagrin, it seemed like your old friend was the face of every brand ever. You saw posters of him, billboards, screens playing his ads, coffee cups with his face on them. You couldn’t escape him. The memory of the boy you had grown up with followed you everywhere.
During exam season, your friend liked to keep the cafe open 24/7 on weekend nights, so students could have a place to get coffee and relax for a minute before getting back to studying. Tonight was one of those nights.
None of your coworkers liked the overnight shifts, but you didn’t mind them. They were slow and peaceful. About once an hour, a teenager with dark circles under their eyes would come in for a pick-me-up, and leave as soon as the drink was in their hand. So you always offered to take the overnight shifts by yourself.
It was 3 a.m., and no one had come in for almost two hours. After an hour of experimenting with the different syrup flavors and making what was quite possibly the most foul drink to have ever existed, you resorted to scrolling on your phone while sitting on the stool behind the register. You were tired, the blue light of your screen burning into your eyes. You had half a mind to just close the shop and go home, and pray that your friend wouldn’t murder you when she found out.
You didn’t even notice when the bell on the door rang as it opened until the person was standing right in front of the register.
“I am so sorry,” You apologized, quickly setting your phone beneath the counter and looking up at the man in front of you “What can I get-”
You stopped in your tracks as you observed the stranger in front of you. He was tall, and wearing a mask, glasses, and a beanie pulled down to his eyebrows, but there was something familiar about his eyes, and with the way he was looking down at you, you could tell he thought the same about you.
The two of you maintained eye contact for what anyone outside would have thought was an uncomfortable amount of time. You knew this man somehow, how somewhere. But where? Where could you have-?
It hit you like a semi-truck going 50 over the speed limit on the highway- It was him. The man that had haunted what felt like your every waking moment of the past decade.
It was Dongmin. Your Dongmin.
A shocked “Holy shit.” left your mouth.
You thought there was no way he would recognize you. He’d probably have worked with thousands of people over the past ten years, his world a constant loop of meetings, rehearsals, photoshoots, recordings, and performance. When he left, he cut you off completely, he probably wanted to forget his life before fame, he probably wanted to forget you.
At least that was what you thought until he pulled his mask from his mouth and breathed out your name.
“Uh…” You stuttered for a moment, your brain scrambling to think of something to say, should you confront him? Ask him why he never called or visited? Instead, what left your mouth was a lame, “You want coffee?”
You could’ve sworn you saw his face fall for a second before he nodded. “Yeah, just…Just an Iced Americano, I guess.”
The two of you were silent as you made his drink. Your mind was racing. He recognized you. He recognized you, and you kind of blew it? Why did you just ask him if he wanted a coffee? Are you stupid? Well, sure, maybe a little bit. You have to say something else to him. But what? What could you possibly-?
“So…How’ve you been?” His question stopped you before you could hand him his finished drink. How’ve you been? How. Have. You. Been?
“Are you fucking kidding me right now?” The question left your mouth before you could stop it, stunning the both of you. But still, you continued. “We haven’t seen each other for like, an entire fucking decade, and you’re asking me how I’ve been? You completely stopped talking to me after you got accepted into your company. Do you know how many all-nighters I pulled after you left, hoping that you would send me a message? Do you know how many times I went over to your moms house to ask about how you’ve been, only to find out that you wouldn’t even tell your own family why you wouldn’t talk to me? I see your face every fucking day. Everywhere I go, you’re there. On every fucking poster, every billboard, every magazine. Hell, every time I open my goddamn phone, your name is in every damn article I see. Every day, I have to wonder why you ghosted me like that, why you just pretended I didn’t exist, and went on with your life. I’ve had to watch as you’ve become one of the most famous men in the entire country, while I slogged through school to get a degree that just led to me working in a fucking coffee shop. And you’re asking me how I’ve been. What the fuck?”
You took a breath, letting everything you just said sink in. You couldn’t have stopped yourself if you tried. All your frustration about him over the past decade had just come tumbling out of your mouth in rapid succession. You realized you were still gripping Dongmin’s coffee and set it down on the counter in front of you. Dongmin’s expression hadn’t changed much, other than the furrow that had formed between his brows.
The two of you stood in silence for what felt like an eternity. You were still fuming, and Dongmin was still practically expression-less.
“I’m sorry.” Was all he said before grabbing his Americano, tossing the cash for his drink onto the counter, and quickly exiting the cafe.
You were left shocked. All your questions unanswered. You stared at the wall for the next three hours until the crew for the morning shift came in. You were in a haze the whole walk home. You had finally seen the man that had been on your mind constantly for the past several years, told him what his absence in your life had done to you, and all he could say was “I’m sorry.”
You didn’t know whether to cry, scream, or stare at the wall in silence. So you just went to sleep.
You slept for an almost inordinate amount of time- 15 hours. It was already almost time for you to go back to the cafe for another overnight shift. You got ready with your mind still in a furious fog, the thought of your best friend as a kid- really, your only friend as a kid going out and living a successful life made you what others would probably say was unreasonably mad. Even your own mom thought your grudge against him was a little much. She didn’t understand. She didn’t understand what his actions had done to you.
It was a much busier night at the cafe, students and businessmen alike all coming in for a dose of caffeine to get themselves through the busy season. The cafe didn’t calm down until almost 4 a.m., and at long last, you were finally left by yourself in peace and quiet.
Maybe ten minutes after the last customer had left the store, you were drying out a froth pitcher when the bell above the door dinged again, alerting you to another customer.
You were still turned around facing the sink when you heard his voice.
“I swear I can explain.”
You whipped around so fast, you could’ve gotten whiplash. Once you saw him standing there looking so perfect and handsome in his long tailored black coat, expensive glasses, and designer shirt, you had half a mind to throw the small metal pitcher in your hand at his head. He raised his hands as if he could see the wheels turning in your brain. He looked around for a second before pulling out a chair at one of the small tables in the cafe and sitting down. You stared at him for a moment, wondering what the hell he was doing before he gestured at the seat in front of him, motioning for you to sit down.
You contemplated just leaving. Leaving the store unattended with Dongmin sitting alone at that little table and then never coming back again. Maybe you’d just walk out and keep walking and walking and walking until you dropped dead. But in the end, you decided that wasn’t a feasible option, so you set down your rag and pitcher, and slowly moved to sit down in front of him.
“So…Go ahead. You said you were gonna explain. So explain.”
He remained silent for a moment, his eyes scanning your face intensely, as if trying to find something that wasn’t there. He sighed and took off his glasses, placing them on the table. He rubbed the corners of his eyes, and folded his hands on top of the table, right next to where he sat his glasses before meeting your gaze.
“It’s not as simple as you think it is.”
You opened your mouth to argue, but he silenced you with a raise of his hand. “Please…Just let me talk. I know you’re angry, I know you’re frustrated, I know you’ve had a really hard time these past few years. But please…For the love of God…Let me say my piece before you say anything. When I’m done, you can yell and scream and call me names and tell me how shitty your life has been. But let me finish first.”
You closed your mouth and slumped back in your chair, watching curiously as Dongmin twiddled his thumbs for a moment before speaking again.
“I didn’t really…Have a choice. When I was accepted into the company, they told me that I couldn’t do anything that might damage my reputation in the future. They asked me if I had any female friends, so of course, I told them about my best friend; you. I told them about how we spent every day together, how we took all the same classes, how our families knew each other, how close we were. And they told me that wouldn’t do. They told me that if I stayed friends with you, that you could hurt my career.”
You almost opened your mouth again to speak, and he could tell, as he stopped and put his hand up again.
“I know. Okay? I told them that you wouldn’t do anything, that you were my best friend and only wanted good things for me, and you would never say or do anything to hurt my career. But they didn’t know you. So they didn’t believe me. They took my phone and blocked your contact, and told me to forget about you. To never mention you again to anyone. And if anyone tried to bring you up, to shut it down immediately and change the topic. I never wanted to hurt you. I never wanted to abandon you. You were the most important person in my life. It was so hard to imagine you at home by yourself, wondering why I was ignoring you. I cried every night at the thought that I would never see you again. I hoped and prayed that we would see each other again, that you would be waiting for me, because I-”
Dongmin was cut off by the bell above the door dinging. You quickly stood up and saw a teenager standing in the door, obviously startled by your quick movement. “We’re closed.” You lied, ushering the teen out the door before closing the blinds and turning off the “Open” sign in the window. You turned around to see Dongmin still seated in his chair, facing the one you were sat in just a moment ago, fiddling with a string on his ripped jeans that probably cost more than your rent.
You sat across from him again, but this time he was determinedly avoiding making eye contact with you.
“Are you finished?”
He nodded his head slowly, his gaze returning to yours. “Do you…Wanna say anything? Now that you know?”
Your mind was a mess. You were still mad- you didn’t really know why, but you were. You finally had a reason, a pretty good reason, for why he did what he did. But you were still…Really fucking mad.
“Why…Didn’t you contact me? Like, after you debuted, after you started acting, after all that…Why did you never reach out? Hell, you could’ve had your mom or your brother deliver a message to me or something. If I was really important, if you really cared about me to the point where you were crying over me every night, why haven’t I heard from you until now?”
His head hung low and a long quiet sigh escaped his lips as he rubbed his eyes again.
“I really don’t know. I think I was scared. Scared to see you, or scared that you would be mad at me, scared that you wouldn’t want to hear me out.” He looked back up at you, this time his eyes welled with tears. “I missed you. So much. More than I missed anyone else. It hurt so much, and I really wasn’t okay. So after a while, I did try to forget you. But it didn’t work.”
Your eyes were welling with tears of your own, and you weren’t even sure why. You choked them back and stared at the table for a second, gathering your thoughts before looking back up to him. “Didn’t you have…I don’t know, other friends or maybe like… I don’t know, girlfriends or something? I mean, your life is so…Insane. Why couldn’t you forget me? When you really think about it, I was kind of only a small part of your life.”
He let out a teary chuckle and your heart ached as you saw his real smile for the first time in years. He wiped the tears from his eyes with his sleeve and attempted to compose himself.
“Of course I have friends, come on. But really, I don’t…I never…Really had any girlfriends.” His head ducked again in what you could only assume was embarrassment. “And you…You were never a small part of my life. You were everything to me. The thought of being able to see you again after I debuted was basically the only thing that kept me going as a trainee. I could never forget about you. I tried, but I just…Couldn’t. You were my reason for going on. My reason for…Everything.”
You quickly looked away from him, your cheeks reddening for an indecipherable reason. You took a second to regain your composure, eyes wandering around the cafe before landing on the table. “So…Why didn’t you have any girlfriends?”
He chuckled again, and your heart once again tightened at the sight. His teeth were a little different, you noticed. But his smile still met his eyes the same way you remember it doing all those years ago. He scratched his chin and his eyes darted around the room, looking anywhere but you. He stared at the ceiling for a second, his smile slowly lessening before he looked back down at the table between you.
“Every time I tried to…Go out, or even just…Spend time with a girl…” He brought his hands to his face, groaning into them before finally looking back up at you. “I could only really think about you.”
His words took you off guard, and it took you a minute to process what he was saying. Your anger at him had long since worn off, and instead, you were left with a feeling of guilt. He had spent so many years working completely non-stop with people- management and fans alike- watching his every move. And any time he tried to stop and enjoy life like a normal human being, he couldn’t. Because he was thinking of you.
“...Why?”
He smiled gently at you, like he was waiting for you to realize the answer yourself before he said it, “Because. It was always you. Since the beginning, it was you. You were all I could think of before I went to sleep, all I could think of anytime I tried to enjoy myself. I wasn’t complete without you. From the beginning, and in the end, it’s you. And I think that’s the real reason I tried to forget you.”
The sunrise started to creep through the blinds as your mind was reeling, trying to make sense of what Dongmin was saying. It’s you. What? You stared at him blankly, unable to form a coherent thought or sentence. After all this time, the reason he had never called, never messaged, never tried to find you, the reason that he had spent the past decade of his life trying to forget about you was because he…You couldn’t even bring yourself to think of that dangerous word.
The smile had long since faded from Dongmin’s face as he carefully watched your reaction. He pushed back his seat, and adjusted his jacket. “I should probably go. Your coworkers are going to be here soon.”
He stood from his seat, your eyes trained on him as he slowly made his way to the door. Suddenly, something in your mind clicked, and you rushed forward to grab his arm just as his other hand reached for the door handle. He looked down at you, his brow furrowed as you looked up at him. Now that you had him, you weren’t really sure what to say, so instead of thinking, you just let the words flow out.
“I think I know the reason I never got over you leaving. I think I loved you- love you. I love you so much that you leaving and blocking me without warning hurt so bad, and then I kept seeing your face everywhere, and in every picture you just looked so happy, the sadness that I felt just turned into hate. I hated you for being happy without me, I hated you for being successful without me, I hated you for the fact that everyone in the country loves you. But I don’t hate you, I never hated you. I love you. I love you.”
Both of you stood in shocked silence at your words, neither of you moving, neither of you breathing, neither of you blinking. You just stood there, looking at each other. You couldn’t tell how long the two of you had been motionless until Dongmin’s face broke into a soft smile, and he gently removed your hand from his arm and held it in his own.
“I love you, too. I always have. It’s always, always been you.”

Jealousy // sanha x reader ft. eunwoo
Pairing: sanha x reader
Genre: angst, fluff
Synopsis: Sanha denies his love for Y/N, but later on realizes it through jealousy.
Warnings: jealousy, insecurity, swearing (?), dorm era
Authors note: THSI WAS REQUESTED BUT I TOTALLY LOST THE REQUEST OMG IM SO SORRY 💀 I am a dumbass and it was my first request so i didnt know how to work it🧍‍♀️
Authors note (2): i know sanha and eunwoo love each other very much and we don't know whats going on in their lives, so i just wanted to yet yall know that its not completely accurate, and that sanha may or may not be feeling this feeling towards eunwoo, but we don't know 🤷‍♀️
...
"Of course they'd hang out, they're both perfect." Sanha sighed through the phone call. "I know. But we can't do anything about it. We can't just force them to stop just for your sake." Moonbin answered. "It's just really annoying. The way Eunwoo just does everything with her these days." Sanha groaned. "Wait, don't tell me..." "What?" "Do you seriously like Y/N?" "Of course I do, she's my friend." Sanha said, confused. "No, you dumbass. As a woman." Moonbin remarked. "Oh- well I- I never really thought about it." Sanha blushed. Moonbin paused for a moment with a chuckle, "Okay then... I guess not." Moonbin shruged. "H-hyung, I'll get going, someone else is calling and it's really important... Bye!" Sanha excused
He sighed with his heart furiously beating in his chest. Liked you as a woman? Couldn't be true.
Suddenly, Sanha heard the doorbell ring. He went to open the door only to see you.
"Oh, Sanha." You smiled. "Y/N..." Sanha said with nervous excitement. "May I ask where Eunwoo is?" You said. Sanha paused, an awkward smile forming on his face as he avoids eye contact. "He's just in his room." Sanha answered before giving space for you to come in. "Thanks..." You said with a soft laugh before coming in and removing your shoes. You hung your scarf and coat on the rack, before walking towards Eunwoo's room.
Sanha just watched you by the door, looking at you with a pout. He then later closed the door and walked to his room with a sigh. He lied on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He kept hearing giggles and laughter from outside his room, your voice of fun annoying him. Sanha groaned, taking his earphones from the bedside table and plugging it into his phone, playing music. He put it on the loudest volume, and closing his eyes to fall a sleep.
But he couldn't sleep.
Whenever his eyes close, his brain is plastered with an image of you. Whenever love songs play, he imagines you and him as each lyric. It annoyed him like hell. He wanted to throw his phone on a wall. He took his earphones out, stepping out of his bed as he went outside.
There, he saw you and Eunwoo. You and Eunwoo’s perfect faces in the kitchen, sitting on the counter chairs while eating. "God, please get a room." Sanha said with an eye roll as he walked towards the kitchen. You only laughed, looking at Sanha's annoyed expression. Sanha went straight to the fridge, looking at it. He immediately took the iced coffee, closing the fridge. “Ya… what’s that in your hand?” You asked, eyeing the iced coffee. Sanha looked, and started laughing awkwardly. “You hate coffee…” Eunwoo said. “I grabbed the wrong one.” Sanha said, before going back to the fridge and putting it back, getting the banana juice. “That’s Moonbin’s.” Eunwoo pointed at the banana juice. “Oh.” Sanha put back the juice and properly looked at the fridge this time. He sighed, taking the strawberry juice. “Have fun guys.” Sanha said in a sarcastic tone, going back to his room. “What’s wrong with him?“ You asked, looking at Eunwoo. Eunwoo looked back at you with a shrug, “22 year old hormones I guess…” You gave Eunwoo a chuckle.
Sanha silently screamed into a pillow as he kicked his bed. Sanha reached for the strawberry juice on his bedside table and finished it in one go. He crumpled the box with furrowed eyebrows, and threw it in the trash can like a basketball. “SCORE!” He shouted. Realizing what he just done, he put a hand on his mouth. He sighed, and continued to scream into his pillow. “What are you doing…” Minhyuk, his roommate walked it. “Rocky hyung!” Sanha whined, kicking. “You’re like a baby, Sanha. What happened now?” Minhyuk sat beside Sanha. “I don’t want to admit it, but I’m starting to get annoyed with Eunwoo and Y/N.” Sanha pouted. Minhyuk raised an eyebrow, then suddenly gasped, “You’re jealous!” He said, pointing at Sanha. “No, why would I be?” Sanha questioned. “Because no one gives a shit about them, it’s just you. Moonbin told me about your little stutters during the phone call.” Minhyuk teased. “I did not stutter! It probably lagged!” Sanha defended. “Ey… That’s obviously jealousy, Sanha.” Minhyuk crossed his arms. “It’s not!” “Then go take a jealousy quiz to see if you are!” Minhyuk suggested. “That’s stupid.” Sanha said. “Just take it, I’m telling you, you’re so obviously jealous!”
3 minutes later, Sanha finished taking the quiz, “IM JEALOUS?” Sanha choked. “I knew it!” Minhyuk laughed. “Yah, do you like Y/N? I mean as a woman by the way.” “No!” Sanha exclaimed. “Weh… Take another quiz!” Minhyuk instructed. “What? No-“ “Take it.” Minhyuk furrowed his eyebrows.
3 minutes later once more, “WHAT? THATS NOT TRUE! THIS QUIZ CANNOT DEFINE MY FEELINGS!” Sanha shouted, pointing at his phone that he just threw on the floor. Minhyuk cackled, finding joy in Sanha’s denial. “That’s just a stupid quiz hyung! I don’t like her!” “Then you love her~” Minhyuk laughed, receiving a hit on the arm by Sanha. “Yah, let’s go test it out.” Minhyuk said, excited. He pushed Sanha out of their room and into the kitchen.
There, they both saw you and Eunwoo still eating. “Oh, Y/N, Eunwoo!” Minhyuk called out, still pushing Sanha towards the both of you. “Oh, Minhyuk. Do you want to join us?” You asked, making Eunwoo look at you confused. “Of course!” Minhyuk laughed, placing Sanha to sit beside you, then him sitting beside Eunwoo. “What were you guys talking about?” Eunwoo suddenly asked.
“Why’d you ask?” Sanha answered back. “I heard you shouting “That’s not true this quiz cannot define my feelings!”” Eunwoo mimicked Sanha with a laugh, causing Sanha to glare at him. “It’s just nothing, Rocky hyung forced me to take some personality quiz.” Sanha half-lied. It was true that the quiz was about his personality and feelings, but he left something very important about that quiz. It was about his feelings towards you. “Well I guess that personality quiz showed something you never knew about yourself.” You laughed, making Sanha blush. “Oh- Y-yeah I guess…”
“See you next next week guys!” Eunwoo waved. Eunwoo was going to a fashion event for two weeks in Paris, and it joyed Sanha. He wouldn’t have to see Y/N and him flirting in the kitchen or living room for two weeks. Two weeks! He was so happy that he even gave Eunwoo a goodbye gift like he would never come back.
“Thanks again Sanha for the gift, see you!” Eunwoo cupped Sanha’s cheeks, squishing them. “Okay, okay, bye bye!” Sanha grinned. Eunwoo left, shutting the door. Jinwoo clasped his hands, turning back to his room. The rest of the members did the same, except Sanha. He stood infront of the door, a big grin still on his face.
No Y/N! No Eunwoo! No flirting! No teasing! The best idea for Sanha.
The doorbell rang, and Sanha being infront of the door, he opened it.
"Sanha!" "Y/N?" Sanha said, shocked. "Why are you here? I thought you knew Eunwoo left." Sanha asked. "I know Eunwoo left, but he's not my only friend here." You smiled. "Okay..." Sanha said, awkward, "Come in... I guess..."
You gave him a smile and went in, hanging your coat and removing your shoes. "Where are your members?" You asked, going straight to the kitchen. "They're in their room." Sanha answered, following behind her.
"Well then, I'm sure they wouldn't want to be disturbed. Let's eat! Just the two of us." You smiled widely. Just the two of us. Just the two of us?! Sanha smiled back, but it was totally awkward.
"Well, what do you guys have?" You asked, opening the fridge. "Not much, we don't really stay here that much, as you know. We have rameyon though." Sanha answered. "That'll do!" You giggled. "Where is it? Is it here?" You said, trying to reach for the highest shelf. Sanha sighed, seeing you struggle.
He walked up to you, holding your shoulder for support as he reached for the rameyon. You blushed as his chest was pressed to your back, his hand shifting from your shoulder to your waist. "What kind of stupid ass would put this at the back of the shelf..." Sanha complained, finally taking ahold of the rameyon. He turned and walked to the stove, leaving you red and sheepish. "You're so young yet so tall..." You complimented to boost your self-confidence about how 'you're not short and that he's just tall'. You're neck almost gets dislocated everytime you see Sanha.
He chuckled at your compliment, starting the electric stove and adding water. You both gawkily leaned on the counter while waiting for the water to boil a little. A few minutes later, Sanha pushed himself off the counter, going to the stove to add the noodles. He stirred them around a bit, before going back beside you to lean awkwardly again. What a pain.
"What made you hang out with Eunwoo a lot these days?" Sanha asked out of the blue. You were not ready for that question. "Well, I haven't really thought about it. Do you usually need a reason to hang out with someone?" You answered with a shrug. "No, not really. Just asking." Sanha scratched his nape. He gulped for a moment, before continuing, "It's just that... you know, it used to be... us, usually..." Sanha pressed his lips together. "Oh"
There it was again. Awkwardness.
"I mean, I'm not saying you should choose me over Eunwoo, I'm just wondering that- well- I-" Sanha didn't know what to say, he just... gave up and sighed, going back to the stove to stir the noodles. He stirred for a moment, then stopping. "Do you... like me?" Sanha said, placing the fork down. "Of course I do." You answered hesitantly, not knowing what he meant. “What?” You paused for a little, analyzing what he just said. "Oh, well- Sanha I- I'm- uh- washroom." You stuttered, running away. Sanha looked back as he saw you running into the washroom. He softly smiled and giggled as opened the rameyon powder and poured it in.
...
Pure silence was the loudest thing that was going on. Pure silence.
You didn't feel like eating, as you just stared at the red soup that drowned the noodles. "Eat, Y/N." Sanha said, mouth full of noodles. You looked at Sanha who was currently sitting across you, and sighed as you gave him a nod, picking up the chopsticks.
"Sanha, would we still be friends if I was a worm?" You asked, dipping your spoon into the soup. "Sure, I guess." Sanha said. "What if I dated Eunwoo, would we still be friends?" You said abruptly.
Sanha just stared at you, his cheeks puffed and red from the spice of the noodles, and maybe because of your question. "Of course I would.” Sanha said in a low voice, stuffing himself with noodles. "But why?” You continued to question him. “Isn’t it obvious? Why would your relationship with Eunwoo affect ours?” You closed your eyes before replying, "I see.” Sanha's eyebrows were furrowed this time, his expression slowly changing. You looked up at him to see his expression of antipathy to your personal questions. You gave an awkward smile before saying, "Oh no, I think there's an misunderstanding..." You chuckled, before looking down. "Are you dating Eunwoo?” You can sense that Sanha was getting annoyed. “No.” You mumbled. “Then what?” He said. You've been going around in circles ever since you step foot in this dorm today, of course he'd be annoyed. And you were most definitely annoyed at yourself too. Asking him random questions, getting him all confused, the cause of this whole uncomfortable circus.
“Sanha I-“
"Y/N I like you." Sanha said with furrowed eyebrows and closed eyes, his fist balled on top of the table. Finally. This confusing story of Sanha and yours was over. Now you just had to think of a response. "Really?"
"Yes really, Y/N."
You couldn't say anything else. You just looked into his eyes with a huge blush. Sanha looked into yours too, his expression softening.
You broke eye contact and quickly stood up, turning around to look at anything but Sanha. Sanha stood up as well, and went to you. You felt his tall-self hovering behind you as you bit your lip. "Y/N, is it because you like Eunwoo and not me?" Sanha's words hit you like a strong brick. You turned around and looked at him, a pout on his face. "No..." You whispered. “It’s just that I…” “You what?” Sanha continued to look at you, until you finally gathered courage.
You went on your tiptoes and pulled him down by his collar, giving him a quick peck on the lips. You let go of Sanha and see his smile of accomplishment.
"I like you, and it’s just that Eunwoo knows this secret of mine which is why we spent a lot of time together because I wanted to get closer with you again. I’m so sorry Sanha.” You explained, still gripping onto his collar. “Okay…” Sanha said with a soft smile, making you look at him.
"Okay..." You whispered with a soft smile, before slowly letting go of his collar.
“So… you like me?” “I like you” “So we’re dating now?” Sanha asked cheekily. “If you want…” You replied. “Well, it’s what I want.” Sanha said with a smile. “Alright.” You said with a useless thumbs up. Sanha laughed at your thumbs up and took your hand. “Jealousy isn’t really a good feeling, Y/N.” Sanha pouted. “I know~ That’s why I’ll be careful now. But you also have to be careful!” You replied, feeling more comfortable now. Sanha chuckling at your expression.
“I will.” Sanha smiled.

Summary: It’s your first short vacation with Dongmin since you started dating, and you get a chance to stay at an extremely fancy hotel in Jeju. The ocean-view suite is perfect, yet there’s a small inconvenience… or a genius design?

It was your first time taking a vacation together.
With the type of hectic schedule Dongmin had to maintain, you barely managed to book the hotel of your dreams for this weekend, which was actually your one-year anniversary. Two days was all you had, and you planned to enjoy them to the fullest, start to finish.
Which was why you’d surprised your boyfriend by appearing clad in a white sundress with a stylish wide brim hat to match. It was a simple feminine look, yet it set the mood from the start.
‘Wow, I’m suddenly looking forward to our flight…’ He smiled at you softly before murmuring, ‘You look beautiful.’
Avoiding his eyes timidly, you chewed on your lip to contain a silly grin. Dongmin took the handle of your suitcase to put it away in the trunk of the car.
‘Let’s get going, we have to be at the airport in thirty,’ Jinwoo’s voice startled you as the window on the driver’s side rolled down. ‘You’ll have a whole hour to exchange your lovey-dovey stares on the plane, children.’
‘Hyung…’ Dongmin mumbled in embarrassment, and you coughed, sliding into the backseat while your boyfriend’s palm hovered above your head protectively.
‘I’m older than you, Jinwoo-yah,’ you scolded, and he hummed in response.
‘Barely!’ He glanced in the rearview mirror, meeting your eyes, and added. ‘Noona.’
You shook your head in disapproval, and turned to Dongmin, who settled in the backseat with you and moved to buckle you up.
‘I can do it! Let’s not make Jinwoo cringe.’
‘Why would he cringe…’ Your boyfriend pouted, watching you tug at the seatbelt.
‘I’m fine unless you start the funny business,’ the leader announced nonchalantly from the front seat.
‘Have you ever caught us doing anything?’ You huffed, and the car was silent for a few long seconds. ‘Have you??’
‘Does hearing count?’ He asked, and your boyfriend’s eyes almost bulged out of his head.
‘Shut up,’ you laughed nervously, only half-assured that it was a joke.
‘It’s actually true. It was when we all stayed at the dorm for a sleepover. You rustle like mice,’ Jinwoo recalled.
‘What?? We weren’t doing anything fu-’
Dongmin’s hand suddenly squeezed your thigh, putting a stop to your protesting speech.
‘Please, just… change the subject, noona.’
~
Teasing you and Dongmin was Astro members’ favorite pastime, and you noticed from the very beginning. They simply loved making him a flustered mess. Not that you couldn’t relate – the face genius looked almost unbearably cute when embarrassed. You weren’t a stranger to teasing him yourself, just to get your fix of his adorable shy smile and his extensive nagging about how you never let him breathe.
In fact, he loved to nag. It was his way of showing affection.
‘Ah, noona… Your dress is so revealing,’ he kept whining while you were on the plane. ‘D’you know how active the sun is in Jeju? Did you apply the sunscreen thoroughly?’
‘Yes. But you can reapply it if you want an excuse to touch my chest,’ you murmured, making him flush red and lower his voice to a scandalized whisper.
‘That’s not what I meant-’
‘I’m sure it isn’t.’ You hummed, laying your head on his shoulder. ‘But I’d still let you.’
The flight from Seoul to Jeju Island was rather quick, about one hour in the air. And it seemed to be over even faster since you were too busy whispering, giggling like lovestruck teenagers, and ‘oh’-ing in excitement as you looked out the illuminator.
Going on a trip with your boyfriend was something you’d been dreaming of for months now, so your mood was through the roof from the moment you woke up. It kept gradually increasing while you were on your way to the dream destination, and reached its peak when Dongmin rented a car to drive the two of you to the hotel.
‘If anything is better than this view,’ you turned away from the window to look at your boyfriend’s relaxed form. ‘It’s probably this.’
‘What?’ He glanced at you, not catching your meaning.
‘You.’
He huffed, scolding you for being cheesy.
‘What, I’ve told you this before! You look most handsome either when you’re driving or when your hair gets wet.’
‘I shall try driving with wet hair someday. Will that make you explode?’
‘Is that your goal?’ You asked, tracing your index finger down the side of his neck, which made him squirm.
‘Stop it, you know I’m ticklish…’
‘You’re not ticklish, you’re sensitive.’ You corrected, running the pads of your fingers over his skin again to make him shudder. ‘So, who’s exploding now?’
He gave you a reproachful look, and you chuckled, pinching his cheek to annoy him further.
‘Why do you have to be so shameless, noona…’
‘Don’t you love that about me?’ You asked playfully.
‘I do,’ he was quick to admit. ‘I love everything about you.’
Caught off guard by his sudden confession, you fell silent. Dongmin didn’t say things like this often, he was a bit reserved about his feelings. You actually recalled that he’d only said ‘the three words’ twice in the span of your relationship. And on one of those occasions he was actually drunk, so… yeah. He was strangely tight-lipped about it for the romantic that he was.
But you’d learned to accept it. You wouldn’t push him to do something he didn’t want to or wasn’t ready to do. So, you just said nothing before your hotel was finally visible.
‘This is great, we can just drop everything and head out to the beach! I’m living for this weather,’ you said, clapping your hands in excitement.
Dongmin nodded in agreement.
As expected, the hotel was splendorous. You noticed that while your boyfriend was checking you in. Taking those few minutes to look around, you found yourself ogling the crystal-clear glass constructions that separated the lobby and the waiting area. The outer wall was also steel and glass, so you could enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Jeju even from there.
‘Let’s go,’ a low voice called, and you followed the tall figure to the elevator.
You really wanted to give him a back hug as he pressed the button, but decided to at least wait until you were on your floor.
Dongmin took your suitcase, which made you pout, unable to hold his hand.
‘I think it’s here,’ he guided you to the door and used the card to open it. ‘After you.’
And there went your plan to give him a back hug. Up in flames.
You sighed and stepped into the room.
‘Oh!’ You exclaimed, rushing to get rid of your outdoor shoes in favor of slippers. ‘Let’s check the view! Come on!’
Surprised by your eagerness, your boyfriend shook his footwear off as well, reaching out his hand to allow you to tug him towards the balcony.
‘Oh my god, this is even better than I expected!’ You squealed, almost jumping in excitement, and squeezed his palm. ‘My hands are itching to take pictures! Come on, lean on this railing.’
Knowing better than to argue with you, he did exactly as he was told, and posed for you.
‘Ah, so handsome,’ you kept repeating, while preserving this moment in the form of a photograph.
Dongmin lost his patience in about a minute, pulling you closer to his body.
‘Are you interested in the view or in spending time with me?’
‘I see you every other day, and it’s my first time in Jeju, of course I’m interested in the view!’ You exclaimed. ‘Especially when you’re making it even better.’
He allowed you to kiss away his pout, and held you close for a selfie.
‘No, my head looks too big like this!’
You jumped in place to reach the phone, because your partner refused to take likable pictures.
‘I got it, I got it,’ he assured you, angling it to make the two of you look disproportionate again.
When you pinched him angrily, he laughed in the cheekiest way possible, begging for mercy instantly.
At least then you’d managed to finally take presentable photos.
Leaving you to admire the ocean some more, Dongmin headed back inside to unpack your belongings. You needed to change into your swimsuits if you wanted to enjoy the rest of the day on the beach.
‘Uh- noona?’
‘Mhm?’
‘Did you… see that?’
His voice sounded confused, so you followed it back into the room.
‘See wha- Omo! Is this..?’
You turned to your boyfriend, who denied you eye contact.
‘Glass bathroom.’ He noted blankly, without showing what his actual feelings about it were.
Was he shy? Anxious? Excited? Uncomfortable? You couldn’t decipher his expression for the life of you.
‘Yeah,’ you agreed.
It was a simple yet exquisite design, no one could argue that it looked good. But the problem was that the bathroom here had no wall separating it from the main bedroom space. Which could only mean…
‘Well, I’m sure we’ll manage,’ you shrugged, walking past Dongmin to find your change of clothes. ‘Get your swimwear out while I change. And don’t peek!’
He grumbled under his breath and you snickered faintly. Damn, you were going to have to face the bathroom issue at some point today. And you should mentally prepare.
It wasn’t on your mind for long though.
As soon as you hit the beach… The beautiful clear sky, the warm sand under your bare feet, the lagoon blue water – all of it occupied your head and made you forget all of the possible inconveniences.
‘Don’t swim away,’ Dongmin nagged, stretching out his arms to reach you.
‘Why, scared of going in deep water?’ You teased him, splashing him lightly with your foot.
‘Noona,’ he sulked, and you allowed the waves to push you towards your boyfriend.
As soon as you were within his reach again, he pulled you closer to his body, not caring too much about the spectators.
‘What now, giant baby?’
‘Don’t call me that,’ Dongmin murmured, and you instantly knew he wanted a kiss.
‘There’s too many people, Min-ah,’ you responded, placing your palm on his chest, covered by the soaked white fabric of his tee.
‘Just once,’ he badgered, stepping closer to you.
Of course, his feet were still grounded where you were floating.
‘Why should I?’ You feigned a complaining tone, glancing at his plump lips.
‘Because.’
Dongmin’s hands seized you by the waist, and your forearms prickled with goosebumps.
Staying still while he leaned in and pressed his lips to yours, you’d allowed him to steal this quick kiss before swimming away again.
You had literally spent all day in the water, taking short breaks to let your wrinkled skin get back to normal. And reapply sunscreen again, of course, with your boyfriend being a total worrywart.
‘I don’t want you to get sunburnt. Your skin is so fair and delicate, it’s important to make sure it’s protected. Did you know getting sunburned increases your chances of skin cancer?’
A worrywart and a smartass.
It was hard to be mad at his smart (and round) ass though, when he had brilliant ideas like tonight. Dongmin had suggested ordering a fancy dinner to your room and having it on your balcony to enjoy the view.
‘Wah, the sunset is perfect today,’ you said.
‘Your dress goes well with it. Very chic and minimalistic.’ His eyes followed the curve of your waist down to your thigh.
‘I’ve had it forever, but I have no clue where else to wear a red silk gown.’
‘Don’t.’ Dongmin’s cheeks and lips were both red from the wine. ‘Only wear it for me, noona.’
Chuckling, you rose from your seat and stepped closer to your boyfriend. Using just your index finger, you tipped his head up to meet his eyes, and then you put your right knee onto his chair, right between his thighs.
‘Are you telling me what to do now, aegi?’ You asked, enjoying the sensation of his gentle fingers ghosting over your thighs.
‘It’s your decision, but why would you deny me this request?’ His hand became more confident, creeping up your bare skin now. ‘Are you hungry for someone else’s attention?’
‘How drunk are you, Dongmin-ah?’ You asked, brushing your lips against his. ‘Because it seems like you could do something right here, where people might see us.’
Straightening up, you smiled angelically at him.
‘We need to shower and cool off. I’m pretty sure I have sand where it shouldn’t be.’
It was obvious that he was disappointed, but the night was young, and to fully enjoy the experience you had to sober up a little. But it was nothing a quick shower couldn’t fix.
‘You go first, I’ll get rid of the dishes. Don’t argue,’ you cut him off, nodding at the entrance to your room. ‘Go.’
It took you only a few minutes to tidy up, so when you walked in Dongmin was just starting out. The water was on, and he was in front of the glass door, almost ready to step in.
The realization hit you right then. You were going to see all of it. And you didn’t hate the idea.
You’d watched, as if in slow motion, how your boyfriend shoved his underwear down, revealing his plump butt, and got into the bath. Feeling no shame whatsoever, you stood your ground, staring at his bare back.
The water hit his body, languidly running down his smooth skin like a dozen forest streams. From where you were standing you could see the enticing flex of his muscles and the breathtaking curve of his waist. As he leaned in to wet his hair, you pressed a palm to your mouth. This slight voyeurism was making you quite… hot. And bothered.
Swallowing hard, you took a step towards him. You were a bit uneasy with the thought of how he might react. At least you’d hoped that he wouldn’t consider you a complete pervert. But you couldn’t resist the obvious temptation; it was most likely what this bathroom was built for. After all, you still owed him a back hug in your mind from earlier… Surely, he wouldn’t mind that you decided to give it to him now, you thought.
Easily sliding your dress and underwear off, you stopped in front of the glass that was getting foggy already.
‘Dongmin-ah,’ you called, opening the glass door to join him. ‘Noona doesn’t have to wait, does she?’
There was no way you could get a coherent response to your question as your hands wrapped around him and your cheek pressed to his shoulder blade. You felt him freeze for a moment, probably startled by your actions, and then he sighed under his breath.
‘What are you up to now? I thought you wanted me to cool off.’
‘Did you now?’ You hummed, pressing a quick succession of kisses along his spine. ‘Would you like me to stop?’
He pressed his palm to the wall in order to maintain his balance under the attack of your tantalizing hands.
‘No.’
Snaking your hand down to cup his balls, you smiled at his gasp of surprise.
‘That’s what I thought.’
With your body pressed so tightly to his, you didn’t even think twice before grinding on his ass and urging him to moan out loud as your fingers wrapped around his semi-hard penis.
‘Noona…’ He gritted, glutes flexing against your pelvis impatiently. ‘What are you doing…’
‘You don’t like it?’
Dongmin glanced at you over his shoulder before turning to face you. His hands gripped your sides and pushed you into him.
‘Were you watching me this entire time?’ He scolded in his low, velvety voice.
‘It was just a couple minutes,’ you defended weakly and wrapped your arms around his neck, ready to purr as his palms stroked up and down your back.
‘I see.’
You stood like that for a few moments, soaking in the warmth of your entangled bodies while the water splashed you from the side.
‘Didn’t you mention having sand in places it shouldn’t be?’ He murmured, hands dipping lower to squeeze your ass. ‘Want some help with that?’
‘How naughty,’ you snickered, messing up his wet hair even further. ‘Would you rather help me clean up, or...?’
‘Or.’
He responded in a heartbeat, gripping you tight before lifting you up to settle you in the bathroom wall niche.
‘But I can always do both,’ he said, readjusting the shower head to splash you with water again.
You squealed and dragged him in the line of fire as well. Inevitably in ten seconds you were both properly soaked.
‘There was no need to get my hair wet. You look sexy like this, and I look like I need to use a hairdryer real bad.’
He ignored your complaints, leaning close and nearly grazing your lips. With your eyes shut, you waited a few seconds but nothing happened.
‘Were you expecting a kiss?’ He grinned in your face, eyes crinkling in mischief. ‘Aw, what a tiny baby…’
Recalling your earlier interactions in the water, you rolled your eyes at him.
‘So, this is your revenge?’ You asked, not resisting as he wrapped your legs around his waist to move even closer. ‘I don’t find it fair since I did let you kiss me. In public.’
He huffed in response to your statement.
‘You call that a kiss?’
Dongmin’s lips suddenly found yours, and you couldn’t avoid the contact. Tilting your head back you hit the tiled surface, but, thankfully, your boyfriend could predict this move. His palm on the back of your head cushioned the hit, and you could only squeak in surprise, parting your lips invitingly.
He wasn’t the type to waste an opportunity like that. And once Dongmin’s tongue was in your mouth, there was no point in fighting him. Your partner was a little too good at French kissing, and you could easily admit to being hopelessly weak to his talent. He was also a toucher, so whenever a makeout session started, his hands would be all over you.
Moaning as he squeezed your breast gently, you pushed against his chest to break the kiss. Your lips were moist, and you were sure it wasn’t because of the water still running, and you licked them in a failed attempt to gather your thoughts together. Dongmin used your momentary struggle to tease you.
‘That is what I call a kiss, noona. You know this.’
You gulped, trying to think of a good comeback. At this point, you really just wanted to surrender. But him being smug about it was an obstacle: you had no intention of pleasing his ego with instant capitulation.
Grabbing a handful of his hair, you pulled hard. His head whipped back, and you didn’t think twice before latching onto his neck hungrily.
Dongmin’s grunt was the single sexiest thing in the entire situation, not even the sight of his broad shoulders that you were holding onto right now or his curvaceous butt that you loved so much could compete with the sound he produced. It was both surprised and pained, loud and husky with pleasure. You could tell he was conflicted about it just from the way his fingers dug into the skin of your sides, almost scratching at your ribcage, while his cock twitched, pressed between your bodies. He needed to get you off of himself but did he want to?
Pulling away from his flushed neck, you tugged at his hair again just to hear him groan beautifully before he used his strength to tear your hand away from his hair.
‘Noona. You know how heavily it bruises,’ he rubbed his neck with the pads of his fingers. ‘Why would you?’
‘On a scale from one to ten,’ you murmured, brushing wet hair out of his eyes. ‘How much did you hate it?’
You touched the tender skin of his neck, just where the redness was growing, and his breath seemed to get shakier.
‘…s-seven,’ he mumbled.
‘Mm?’
Dongmin cleared his throat, staring at you through his dark eyelashes.
‘Three point seven,’ he offered this time, and you couldn’t help but smile.
‘That’s more like it,’ you hummed, finding his frowning lips in a quick peck.
Meanwhile, he reached down to wrap his fingers around his rock-solid cock to guide it where you both wanted it.
‘Ough-’ You gasped as he bottomed out in one go. ‘Don’t be impatient.’
Your boyfriend’s hips didn’t slow down one bit, although his next thrust seemed slightly more careful. He loved you but he was also damn stubborn.
The glass wall behind Dongmin was getting cloudier from the hot water, which you didn’t hate. The enclosed space seemed snugger now that you were isolated from your surroundings in a way, holding so tightly onto each other. Your skin was slippery under your partner’s fingers, yet he made sure to secure you in his arms. He liked to make it known that once he got you, he wasn’t letting go.
‘Mm- Dongmin-ah,’ you moaned, clutching his shoulder to ground yourself as he kept thrusting quickly.
‘There,’ he finished for you, already knowing what you wanted to express from the way that you tightened around him.
‘Yes, fuck-’
‘Don’t you wish you were more compliant earlier?’ He chuckled darkly, knowing damn well his hips were steadily pushing you towards your release.
The curses you muttered only spurred him on. He got fired up easily, and wanted nothing more than to see and hear you come undone. Especially when he felt he was denied something – like access to your body.
‘I’m… so close, Min-ah, please- You feel so good.’
You knew he liked to stay in control, so instead of bickering with him mid-sex, you just let him know how great he was at what he was doing. A tiny smile that he couldn’t contain revealed that he was pleased with the option you decided to take. With that, he got slightly more determined and aggressive in his thrusting. Patience was not the virtue that he possessed, so you simply closed your eyes, focused on the grind of your bodies.
‘God, I love you so much,’ he gritted, letting out a curse under his breath.
The words were muffled, but you heard them loud and clear. A pleasant shiver ran down your spine, and you moaned, muscles clenching around his cock. The smooth sensation of his length sliding in and out of you made your legs start to tremble.
‘Dongminie-’ You wailed as his hips kept up the brutal pace that brought you to your release so quickly.
He was still going fast and strong while you yelped, on the verge of pushing him away.
‘I’m there, I’m there… Y/N! Agh-’
Dongmin’s voice reverberated from the walls, not even absorbed by the thickened fog around you that you barely noticed. He groaned loudly as he came, and your pussy quivered while you took all of what he was giving you.
Resting his forehead in the crook of your neck to get a breather, he ran his hands up and down your damp waist. You allowed him a moment to gather his strength, finding his slumped shoulders and stroking them along with his back. There were still butterflies in your stomach – either from your recent orgasm, or from him sneaking in the words you cherished so much, or both.
His hands soon reciprocated.
‘Dammit.’ He cursed, turning his head to kiss your neck that was in close proximity. ‘I feel like I could go again.’
The announcement made you squirm. Going several rounds was more than fine with you, but the bathroom wasn’t really suited for his appetites. You could barely hold your balance on wet tile, and it was also getting too hot and humid for your taste.
‘Are you cold?’ He asked, breaking you out of your thoughts.
You realized his palm was slowly caressing your back, feeling almost scorching against your skin.
‘Not too cold. But I’d still prefer to continue after we finish the shower.’ You suggested, hoping that he wasn’t dead set on milking the bathroom thing further.
‘Noona needs to lie down. I got it.’
You were both grateful and annoyed at his answer.
‘Noona can very well be on top if someone lets her.’
He quickly let you down from the niche you were occupying. Just to remind you how much taller and broader than you he was, for sure.
‘Someone prefers to have noona underneath. Nice and pliable.’
‘It has to be your way, doesn’t it?’
You exchanged naughty chuckles.
‘Come on. Haven’t you been imagining exactly this since the moment you saw the bathroom area? I’m not entirely convinced it was my way just now.’
‘Oh well. I guess I’ll have to convince you once we get to the bedroom.’
‘Who said I wanted to relocate?’ He asked, eyes narrowing at you cunningly.
You were positive that next time you should go for a glass jacuzzi to get the best of both worlds. It’s bigger, warmer, comfier… And still see-though. And hot as hell.
Dongmin snorted, inspecting the pensive expression on your face.
‘I’ll give you a five-second head start to reach the bed. If I catch you on the way… We’re doing it here.’
In any other situation you would’ve called him out for his childishness. This time, however…
You were out the glass door in a heartbeat.

The flashing lights appeared before the car had even come to a full stop, and Jungkook was bored already. Sat fiddling with his styled outfit and brand-gifted jewelry, as he began to hear distant yells of his name, he wondered how soon he could leave the event. It wasn’t personal, just another tedious event.
“It’s good you decided to come here,” his manager, Do-yun, says beside him as if reading his thoughts. “It’s been a while since you made a public appearance, you’re contracted to show off your brand ambassadorship and promote the jewelry, and most of all, your album is coming up. This’ll be good.”
“Mhmm,” Jungkook murmurs, ready to disassociate for the next couple of hours while putting on his best smile. All he wanted at that moment was samgyeopsal, karaoke, and beers with Mingyu and Eunwoo… but duty calls. “Is Mingyu going to be here?”
“The PLEDIS team hasn’t answered my text,” Do-yun says. “You’re up.”
The van’s jet-black door slides open and Jungkook is almost immediately blinded by the lights of the cameras going off right in front of him. He’d forgotten just how bright they could be, but thankfully remembered his failsafe sensory-overload tactic: covering up his face with his hands. It was the only way Jungkook could cope, and for once, he thanked his youthful appearance and reputation for making him seem adorable above all else. He adjusts soon enough, as always, strutting down the carpet and showing off his charm, outfit, and accessories. He was able to pick up on one or two of the paparazzi and press’ requests, showing off a finger-heart pose and playfully touching his abs over his outfit, but in an instant, their loud voices fade, and time slows. He can’t hear anything. He can’t see anything… but the beautiful smile he's started to dream of, right behind the clear double doors of the event. Was that really….
“Jungkook!”
He hears that - a call right beside his ears coming from the familiar, booming voice of his own manager, now grabbing his elbow. “Snap out of it. You’re supposed to be in by now.”
Looking around, Jungkook realizes he’d been holding up a line, with a dozen other celebrities waiting for his moment to be over, while the paparazzi continued to cheer, capture, and fawn over him, eating up his ‘adorable spacing out moment.’
“I apologize!” Jungkook smiles, bowing to the celebrities beside him as well as the hundreds of photographers ahead of him, his heart racing as Do-yun and his security team lead him to the double doors. When they’re pulled open, his bubbling anticipation subsides, for rather than the heavenly hallucination he must've had, he sees Mingyu standing before him.
“Gyu!” Jungkook yelps, hugging his best friend, who greets him with the same enthusiasm. “Samgyeopsal and karaoke afterwards?”
“Please, sunbaenim,” Mingyu giggles quietly. “I’m bored out of my fucking mind. I’ve been here for an hour already.”
Unable to wait even a minute, Jungkook brings in both his manager and his best friend into a huddle. “Hey, am I dreaming, or was that _____ I saw in here?”
“She is here, simp,” Mingyu smiles, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively before sticking out his tongue between his teeth.
“Do-yun, you didn’t tell me she would be here tonight,” Jungkook says in a panic.
“I didn’t know. Seems she decided at the last minute, just like you did.”
“Soulmates,” Jungkook whispers under his breath, ignoring the two men rolling their eyes before him. “This is fate. We keep missing each other at these things…. I have to meet her.”
“I’ll make it happen, Kook-ah,” Mingyu smirks, expecting the light shove Jungkook gives him afterward. “For you, I promise. You know we don’t have the same taste in girls. Do-yun, do you know that I never even crushed on IU?”
“You fucking idiot - you know you’re the only idol who hasn’t, right?” Jungkook says. “Anyways, IU was a boyhood crush. This…. she… she’s even better.”
“Oh, shit. Do-yun-nim. This is serious. We need to do something.”
“I don’t know where your team is, Kim Mingyu, but I’m dragging the both of you to meet everyone you actually have to meet here. Then, sit in a corner and chat about pork or singalongs, or mingle with safe people. Men - or female staff only. You know the drill,” Do-yun says sternly. “Best to stay safe even though you don’t really have to worry about sneaky photos - security is tight, and they took all our phones. The only people with their phones are idols and brand ambassadors such as yourselves. Got it?”
The boys nod reluctantly. “Now we know why he keeps missing her at these things,” Mingyu scoffs, and at that, Do-yun quickly places a hand on Jungkook’s shoulder.
“I’ll make it happen, Jungkook-ssi.”

It’d been close to an hour since Do-yun scurried away and mere minutes since Mingyu silently left Jungkook to fend for himself and wish his other members had been invited. He was so used to being glued to his hyungs at the hip, and now he found himself scanning the crowded room for a familiar face.
“Jungkook!” Mingyu’s familiar voice boomed, and Jungkook finds his best friend farther than he’d expected, close to the other side of the room with a wide smirk on his face. Knowing his friend was just as menacing as he was sweet, Jungkook made his way there without any thoughts…
"For your own benefit, I took a page from your book and stopped waiting around for the company’s approval... You're my bad influence, so you are my first bad idea. Thank me or scold me later."
One can never be sure when it comes to Mingyu, so Jungkook nods and allows his friend to grab him by the hand…. silently leading him through the crowded room... to you.
"Do-yun-nim was taking too long. Found her much hotter friend first, and ta-da,” Mingyu quickly whispers into his ear.
In a moment of panic, Jungkook’s idol-wired brain took over, quickly scanning the room for any warning signs - untrustworthy staff or sketchy fellow idols, hidden cameras. It seemed… safe. It was just an innocent meeting, tucked away in a corner of the room… No biggie.
“BTS Jungkook…”
Jungkook couldn’t believe it. Your voice was as sweet as it was in your interviews… But you were far, far more beautiful in real life.
“____!” he cheers. “It’s really nice to meet you.”
“Me? Coming from BTS’ Jeon Jungkook, wah, I guess I’ve made it then.”
Holy shit, how do you blush so adorably?
“You have made it,” Jungkook says, “And with your own blood, sweat, and tears, too. It’s insanely admirable.”
“You flatter me too much. You paved the way! I hope to one day get to the level where I can quote my own songs too.”
“That… was unintentional,” Jungkook blushes, regretting his choice of words. “But your lyrics are… some of the most beautiful I’ve come across in all my years as an idol. Your latest single brought me to tears.”
“It’s true. It was embarrassing,” Mingyu confirms, ignoring Jungkook’s glare.
“Oh, no, that touches my heart. It makes me feel like an honest artist and a bit proud, actually - not that I made you cry! But that my experience translated into the song like that… I cried every second I worked on the song, actually.”
“Oh no. I hope you never cry a day in your life, _____,” Jungkook blurts. “Don’t get hurt, please.”
“Thank you, Jungkook,” you say with a heartwarming giggle. “I have to, though, don’t I? I’ll take care of my health, but I have to live. To live is to cry every now and then.”
“That’s true. Namjoon-hyung says that too - you know he’s the main songwriter in our group, right?”
“Of course.”
“Beautiful lyrics can only come from beautiful people.”
In a failed attempt to hide his scoff, Mingyu scurries off. “Simp," he quickly mutters under his breath. "I’ll go find your friend, ____.”
“Kim Mingyu, treat her well!” you call out with a ferocity that ignites another fire in Jungkook’s heart.
“Jungkook-ssi…. Maybe we can write together sometime?”
“I’m not really a writer,” Jungkook says, not knowing the reason why. A failed display of honesty, perhaps? He has written in the past, of course, for both his own discography as well as BTS’…. A surge of regret floods his system in a second.
“You’re a beautiful person, Jungkook, so by your logic, you must be able to write some beautiful lyrics as well.”
Stunned, Jungkook is unable to respond. Did you just call him beautiful?
“You really are as cute as they say… as cute as I imagined,” you smile. “What do you say?”
Jungkook nods, happily giving you his phone when you ask for it before typing in his number in yours.
“So I can call you?” Jungkook asks, brushing his hair away from his face.
“I hope you do.”
You turn your back, ready to make your way back into the event and probably find your friend, but the moment you’d turned your back, Jungkook realizes he hadn’t said enough.
“____?” It takes another moment for Jungkook to muster up the courage to go on once he sees your face again, so he spills out his words the moment they come to him. “I just want to tell you that I… I really respect you as an artist. I always have, and I always will. I can’t say the same for so many of our peers these days, unfortunately, so I felt like I needed to say that.”
“I...... I needed to hear that more than anything else, Jungkook-ssi... Thank you,” you say quietly.
“Thank you," you repeat in a whisper. “I’m also thanking whatever force or higher power made you say that just now.”
“I mean it myself, though,” Jungkook reiterates.
“I know, but it feels like fate that you’d told me that tonight. I’ll tell you the story one day - why I so badly needed to hear that tonight.”
Jungkook nods, exhaling in an effort to hide his astonishment as you walk away in a rush, hiding whatever emotion you were feeling too.
One day.
He’ll hold you - and fate - up to that.
