Drastoria is that couple who seemed nice and chill at first but gets way too competitive for their own good during PTA events at Hogwarts. They need to win anything and everything because even though they are civil with the Potters, there’s no way in hell they are gonna let them win broom racing or the bake sale. 

And they can be quite sore losers when they lose that Mcgonagall had to step in to get them to handshake with the winners. They do it because they remembered that they have a son who is looking at them at the moment.

“You didn’t have to break her broom after that race.” (- Draco to Astoria)

“Well you didn’t have to tantrum at that bake sale.” (Astoria to Draco)

“My lemon squares should have sold more! It’s a Malfoy family recipe!”

“Shh! Scorpius is looking. Best behaviour,”

“Minerva, please accept our donation to buy more brooms for the students. Again, I apologise for accidentally breaking some of those. I have no idea what happened.”

“I am also offering my services to repair those tables and chairs I have accidentally broken into two.”

Princess and the Frog Drarry AU

I recently rewatched Princess and the Frog and thought of drarry because when am I not thinking about these two idiots in love?

Draco would be Prince Naveen because duh he was rich because of his parents but then cut off

After the war, the Malfoy name is tainted and they have to pay sufficient war reparations so their bank accounts are depleted (but still a lot more than the average person)

To fight his depression, Draco spends way too much money on material items and stays inside the house most of the time

His parents decide that the best thing to do is to cut him off - that way he’ll be forced to leave the house and be forced to actually do something with his life

No one will give him a job because he was a Death Eater so, being the Slytherin that he is, he plans to find an unsuspecting rich witch to marry

So obviously he sets his eyes on the Greengrass family - they weren’t tainted by the war and no one knows that Draco is actually broke so he still appears to be of high class pure blood society - and decides to woo Astoria

And unlike in the film where Charlotte is oblivious and desperate to get married, Astoria is only acting like she’s super clingy because she knows that Draco is gay (or at least has her suspicions) and wants to prove it

So she acts like she’s lovesick, hoping to gross him out, making him confess

But it doesn’t work too well so Astoria decides to turn it up a notch by parading Draco around as her boyfriend not just in public but at Ministry events

Draco, of course, hates Ministry events - he loves to dress his best, but he hates the politics involved - and everyone still spits at him but no one would dare curse him at a Ministry event so Draco counts his blessings

That is until one day, Harry Potter shows up to an event and Draco cannot handle it

Harry just wants to live a normal life- he doesn’t want people fawning over him and he’s sick of reporters following him everywhere

He’s tired of doing what everyone expects him to- he wants to quit being and Auror and open up his own broomstick shop (or something lol idk)

He wants to be with someone who wants to be with him -just Harry- and not Harry Potter but that proves to be difficult

Hermione makes him go to a Ministry event to get out there after a disastrous break up with a douche

Reluctantly, he agrees - at least there’s an open bar

Astoria drags Draco over to Harry (Draco downs his champagne and grabs another glass), knowing that they went to school together, and demands to be introduced

After an awkward conversation, they go their separate ways

The interaction confirms what Astoris thought - that Draco is in love with Harry Potter so after the event, she confronts him about it, fed up with her plan to get him to confess not working

Draco of course denies it all

They get into a fight leading Draco to storm off into the night

He wanders around aimlessly and ends up in Knockturn Alley where a wizard lures him into his shop and reads Draco’s fortune: showing that he will die alone and no one would care

But the wizard claims that he can make Draco’s dream come true (wife, kids, money) if they make a deal

Vulnerable and slightly drunk, Draco agrees - he’s got nothing left to lose

He shakes the wizard’s hand and the wizard extracts some of Draco’s magical essence

Draco turns into a frog and can only change back if he is kissed by someone who truly loves him

The wizard keeps Draco in a jar but Draco manages to escape

The wizard takes Draco’s magical essence and combines it with Polyjuice Potion to turn himself into Draco

Draco, now a frog, is in despair at how stupid he was goes to Astoria, warning her of the imposter wearing his body

She refuses to kiss him, both of them knowing that it would never work

Astoria says that Draco can make Harry fall in love with him if he just gives him a chance but Draco refuses (still denying his feelings)

Draco is determined that he can find a way to reverse the effects with a counter curse and doesn’t have all the logistics but knows it must be performed during a full moon (since it’s a transformation curse, similar to werewolves hence the full moon)

But before he can finish his research and development, things go wrong

Astoria tries to talk to Harry behind Draco’s back, telling him that he’s the only one who can reverse the curse done to her friend (obviously she doesn’t tell him that it’s actually Draco) and Harry, being the hero he is, agrees to help

Once Draco sees who Astoria brought home, he freaks out, breaking and knocking things over

Astoria casts immobulus on him

Astoria says that he needs to say a spell and then kiss the frog in order to activate the spell and Harry, trusting Astoria, does it

Astoria was certain that Harry loves Draco based on their interaction at the Ministry event but when Harry kisses Draco, it doesn’t work and Harry turns into a frog too

Meanwhile, the evil wizard polyjuiced as Draco is charming the Greengrass family but quickly runs out of polyjuice and discovers that Draco had escaped

Now a frog, Harry demands answers from Astoria who is in shock

Draco answers him, drawling as he does, and Harry realizes that it’s “Malfoy?!?!?”

Draco rolls his eyes

Astoria snaps out of it and apologizes, explaining everything (minus the love kiss psrt)

So they decide to ask Hermione for help

Astoria takes Draco and Harry with her to a Ministry event (Hermione obviously works with the Ministry

They struggle to talk to Hermione alone and then chaos ensues because “there are frogs!”

Somehow Draco and Harry get thrown into a floor and transported to who knows where and have to find their way back on their own

Along the way, they fall in love

Astoria manages tell Hermione, who helps develop a counter curse but it has to be performed on the night of a full moon (aka 3 days from then, 1 week since the frogs went missing) and can only hope that they can find Draco and Harry in time

Draco and Harry manage to get back just as the moon is beginning to set but the wizard interferes before they can get to Hermione

Aurora find them and Hermione casts the counter curse but she’s too late

They live as frogs for a while

And then Draco proposes

They get married

They kiss and the curse is lifted

And they live happily ever after

I was wondering do you think lucissa would ever hire someone to kidnap or even kill Astoria to keep her away from Draco? I think it would be an interesting concept for a fic if yes

They wouldn't stoop that low. Canonically the Malfoys are not the type to kidnap people. As shown in the Deathly Hallows, the concept of the Malfoys having hostages is only introduced once Bellatrix and the more unhinged death eaters come into the picture.

Lucissa are more the type to blackmail, curse, maim or flat out murder someone discreetly to keep them away from Draco than bother with a kidnapping. I think they must have tried to murder her at least once before Draco and Astoria got married, but once Astori became a Malfoy it was officially killing one's kin and they couldn't have that.

Hi! I was looking for fic, i just remember the scene that Hermione and Draco are play truth and dare (sort of) with their friends at restorant. Hermione ask did she love someone who she shouldn't, then H look at D and drink her glass. After that she excuse her self to the loo n cry. While at the table D was shock and he excuse him self to go home and left the restorant. H think that D is angry with her but actually he go home to talk to his parent that he want to break his engagement with astori
