for those interested I have grouped all the As-yon translations in a single place, so they can be easily viewed/downloaded without browsing the tag in the blog.

Artwork Sources

All icons are sourced from anime, the official manga, the gaidens, the anthologies, 4Koma Kings, magazine covers, the mobile games, and official crossover art.

>    Credit for posting the 4komas goes to dimensionslip. >    The Wings of an Angel scanlation group hosts TOTA Gaidens, Anthology comics, as well as several other Tales of mangas (including ToS). >    The official TOTA manga chapters were downloaded from randomsnarfle. >    I’ve found scans of some of the Viva Tales of Magazine uploaded by renachan82 (note: unfortunately, all links to download entire chapters are dead as the eternalmanga.net website is gone) >   Tales of TV comics can be found on taleslations’ tumblr account (note: they also host translations of light novels and are an excellent source for finding additional material) >   Abyssal Chronicles’ galleries have tons of art too, specifically from Tales of Kizna and Tales of Card Evolve. >   brilliantcataclysm has also uploaded HD rips of skit faces. >   feluka has uploaded HD rips of Abyss skit faces.

>   Another great source is MiniTokyo. They have high-res scans of game magazines and artbooks, and you can find all kinds of official art there. Uploading fanart is against their TOS, but some people still try so be careful.

>   spriters-resources: Art from various games are uploaded here. >   tales-of-transparent: Transparent renders from mobile games (inactive) >   tales-of-asteria-rips: Transparent renders from Tales of Asteria >   tales-of-asteria: Just in case something hasn’t been rendered by the above >   tales of the rays wiki: Character galleries have nice art that’s been rippped from the game (the tales of crestoria wiki also has rips of art).

Okay now all I have left to find is whatever is in the unused game script... when I get my hands on it.

That’s actually kind of terrifying knowing I will have exhausted every single canon material for X2 with the exception of the Drama CDs (which sadly aren’t exactly machine translatable) and the Rays/RevUni/Asteria/spinoff stuff which technically isn’t X2 canon anyway

But it’s okay my job isn’t done until I actually understand all that stuff I got my hands on and I will mtl the entire manga (the 4komas are staying in limbo forever tho, mtl doesn’t like it)

I’m not good with parting messages, but first of all I’d like to thank the developers for creating this simple but entertaining app. It accompanied me for eight years (I started a year after launch) in various happy and bad times, like a trusted friend. So thanks for the fun times, for the salty times, for the excitement to see my favourite characters in awesome costumes and to see them every day.

I'd also thank a lot the creators of this blog, the previous mods that allowed me to help them running it, the people that helped me with the 4koma translations. And of course all of the followers! I hope you found this blog useful (and sorry for all the typos ^^; ).

So, goodbye, maybe we'll see again elsewhere :D
