Completely forgot to post these when I was done but I made an Astenian and some color variants. Creation of the Solar Storm, Borealis (Alt, MorningStar, to match the weapon, or Polaris). They love to be under the stars and thrives from solar energy, often staying on the surface to gather energy before heading into the caves. The star in their chest acts as a beacon of light

Fresh Meadow is more likely found in lush caves, with ths patterns along their body mimicking the plant life. They are the only with an eight point star and are the most common variant.

Saturnite (based off of Saturn's ultraviolet aurora) likes to hang around hot and volcanic areas, gaining energy from the heat. They emit the least amount of light and have the dimmest star.

Deep Twlight is the most elusive of the variant's, found only in the deepest, darkest caves. They are the most reflective, and their star, the largest out of all variants, shines the brightest. They can overload if they collect too much solar energy.

The flickering gaslight cast long, skeleton-like shadows on the cold steel table. Everything blurred before my eyes, their silhouettes appearing before my eyes. The air was thick with the odor of rot and something else… something acrid and metallic, like stale blood. I felt the ghostly pricks of needles, the dull pain of incisions. They were groping, cutting, examining me…. The doctor's voice, flat and inexpressive, echoed in my ears, a cruel parody of clinical detachment. -- Your body has undergone an autopsy,” he said, his gaze cold and frighteningly precise, ”but you're still alive. Alive, but… what? A grotesque puppet, bound by the threads of some unnatural, horrifying life.” My own flesh seemed alien. Alien clothes torn into heavy shreds.
