I don't care what Tabata does with Astaroth in canon. To me there's just something beautiful about there being a devil who already liked humanity, LOVED it even, and wanted to live with and be a part of them.

Speeruning black clover au

So anyone knows the Astaroth theory ? If you know skip the purple text if not read it . The theory goes that Julius and Lucius took Astaroth's magic after making a deal and then split his soul in two . The resulting split soul created Asta and Libei .

What happens in this au is that after whatever events happen (for the Manga and anime) Lebei and Asta get their magic back and accidentally put a curse(!???) that makes them go back in time in a loop .

Now if it was only those two it would be angst and existencall crisis so they are not alone . The time they themselves regain their memories also varies but is never earlier than 6 years old .

However for everyone else , who and when people regain their memories is a total roll of the dice . Most of the time Yuno and the Black Bulls regain their memories .

So we just have wacky speedruns from an outside point of view as to what everyone as to what everyone is doing at the moment .

And is just chaos .

I can easily think of possible things everyone is doing . Like :

Mereleona speedrunning taking over a Kingdom with her brothers as both her witness and timers

How fast Nacht can destroy Hell especially if Morgan is also there

Yami if he wakes up early enough is doing a speedrun in the Kingdom of Sun as to how fast he can get his friend who was gonna become shogun along with his sister and her colleagues and transport them to the Clover Kingdom

Noelle is speedrunning how fast she can get Leviathan and Nozel if he wakes up is speedrunning how fast he can catch up to her

If young enough Vanessa is speedrunning how fast she can either get out the Witches Forest or how fast she can take over it

Finral is doing a speedrun of how fast he can collect his squad

Charlotte is speedrunning how fast she can break the curse

Zara is either stopping his dad from dying , doing a speedrun on how fast he can kill his killers or trying the wakkiest rune combinations possible

Magna and Luck are speedrunning how fast they can get into a fight

Asta and Yuno just like in their first run are trying to see who becomes wizard king first with their end time being when Yuno gets told he is the prince of Spade

Gray speedrunning taking over the Purple Orcas without them realizing

I just reread the entire manga for the 4 time and I have a question...

Where the fuck is Leopold?? Cause at this point tabata is just trying to make characters gone for the climax? Also, damnaito should kill himself.

I'm also intrigued to know where Leo is, and I'm hoping that there's a scene incoming where the Fire Vermillion siblings are working together and Leo gets his moment in the sun. The fact that Marx, after some similar questions as to where he is, finally showed up with Mimosa.

I'm not sure of Tab's motivations, because we're still quite early on into the final arc. It's supposed to be, or at least suspected to be 150-200 chapters long, so there's still going to be something big. Or at least I think so. (And hope so). What it'll be, I don't know.

Now, while I know that the "x should kys" -thing is very much ingrained into the internet culture of the youth, I'm frowning at the choice of words. (Because, again for the internet culture these days, death threats and how casually death is wished, seems to be nothing.) But since we're talking about the manga, I'm just going to go: An-nyways...

We need to remember that Damnatio is possessed. He's just a puppet, and while he doesn't have a strong emotional connection to the Bulls, which is why eg Sister Lily was able to save Asta (apparently), Damnatio isn't as lucky. He might've been a prick, and a bit of an asshole (okay a lot of an asshole) to the Bulls, but in this instance he is very much a victim too.

Would I personally mind if Damnatio did die? Nah. Do I think that there'd be value in the narrative for him to commit suicide? Nah. Do I want the Bulls to absolutely kick his ass and give a roundhouse kick to the devil possessing him (while still inside Damnatio)? Oh without a doubt.

Another thing I'm thinking about is that since some of the paladins are... dead, how does one kill something that has died already? Not to mention Lucius' insane cloning ability.

The premise Tabs is painting seems to be for everyone to die by the time Asta gets back to Clover.

In which case there would be a chance to get recruited by the Time Devil and go into an insane Time Loop adventure to save everyone, but it remains to be seen.

They came together as they were young and fresh in the underworld as team up there they trust each other but then came the true love

Lucius's power to see the future comes from his time magic that belongs to Astaroth. If I'm not mistaken, you talked about how Lucius was just the opening act for the great villain that would surely be Astaroth.

Do you think Astaroth could have been blinding Lucius preventing him from seeing Asta or manipulating his visions to make sure his own plan came to pass? Because if I'm not mistaken with Lucifer dead and Beelzebud having been used to paladinize Sister Lily now Astaroth is the most powerful demon in Hell.

Besides, Adramelech is still there on Lucius'side expecting something and we don't know what he's planning.

See, I originally ALSO thought this would be the sort of stereotypical case of conduct but RECENTLY I've made an observation how Astaroth HIMSELF is likely limiting his own powers and shit. And because he probably predicted Lucius betraying him, went with it and likely because Lucius having ALL forms of time magic (past, present, future) would probably be much more dangerous.

There's a lot of factors that, in the fine details, don't make sense with the base knowledge of "Lucius likely took Astaroth's heart". One, this would imply Lucius, with TIME MAGIC and in a wheelchair, could or would have beaten Astaroth, a supreme devil, to the point of taking his heart. Two, there's a LOT of traps for failure in ANY plan Lucius could have had, due to Astaroth's visions.

The only way how Lucius COULD have even gotten that far would be if Astaroth KNEW and had motivation to go with it. While I don't firmly believe in it, there is solid reasoning to Astaroth purposefully weakening himself, walking into a trap, getting merked and letting Lucius get a bootleg version of time magic and the immense hubris and god complex over "beating" a supreme devil. This would give Lucius a double edged sword - time magic that can't predict the change in a future in real time events (Fuegoleon alive, Yuno being strong in Clover, Noelle kicking ass) and a self assured God complex and unshakeable confidence that he can and will win. A power that LOOKS strong from the outside but has flaws and hubris and ego so huge you know its gonna be his downfall.

But the question would be WHY would Astaroth go with Lucius' bullshit, even at the expense of his own power and life? Maybe because he's actually SEEN the consequences of Lucius winning with full buffed time magic and that shit was not worth it for ANYONE, Lucius included.

We can ACTUALLY make that conclusion because on THREE, THREE WHOLE occassions we see the supporting cast confirm that Lucius' plan isn't utopian - Witch Queen confirming its the apocalypse, Ryuuya admitting that not just Clover, but the WHOLE WORLD would be dead ass destroyed and Leviathan awakening at the end of the world.

On top of that, we don't even actually SEE what Lucius' new world order would look like, much less function. This guy says mass shit about how he's going to achieve world piece through unanimous brainwashing, but we never actually go past the "I will bring world peace" part of the plan. Several other indicators point towards the fact that Lucius' own future visions don't show the full extent of his best case scenario.

It's likely Astaroth himself made a limit to Lucius of how far he can look into the future, so he never actually SEES what's past the point of victory. Otherwise, Lucius would have actually seen the end of the world that Witch Queen, Ryuuya and even Leviathan can see with their minimised forms of predictions.

WHY Astaroth wants Lucius to go with his god complex plan but NOT see the results is actually a pretty good question.

guessing, tentitively, that the boss in the horror of music au is one of the devils - maybe lucifero? and then Megiculas the kid? I forgot who the devil was who they replaced, but yanno. that one.

Alternatively the boss might be a squad captain. idk.

Ok so, you got it right Megicula is the kid and the devil they replaced is Astaroth who is the boss! In the post I was talking about Cthulhu an Oc devil I came up with bc the fact that no one in the fandom has thought of making an Oc inspired off him is insane to me.

Ok some backstory, before Astaroth disappeared he was the Duke of the underworld and Cthulhu was his sworn servant, then one day boom another supreme devil manifests in Astaroths domen- Little baby Megicula, long story she goes around killing some devils and now Astaroths curiosity is at an all time high! So he goes finds little Megi and gives her a name officially adopting her.

So boom Dadstaroth and his not-really boyfriend Cthulhu quit literally become "2 Man and a half" as they raise megicula ( but it is Astaroth doing the raising and not really Cthulhu )

Then we have the Draka episode which is a whole other can of worms, and Lucius comes around gets my boy Dadstaroth so now Lucifero gets put in charge as king, Cthulhu gets super depressed and leaves the underworld going to his cult of followers in the human world with very evil plots in mind. Lastly little teen Megicula is now officially all alone till she meets Vanica.

To say I love this Au is an understatment so pls if anyone else has questions feel free to ask
