Today and Tuesday are the final opportunities to see my solo exhibition "What the Crows Brought Me" at ARTHOUSE Gallery. I'll be picking the work up on Wednesday to bring home to my San Francisco studio and shortly thereafter shipping out pieces that were sold to buyers in outlining areas. I am so grateful for all the encouraging feedback, the many crow stories shared and the camaraderie I experienced from beginning to end. New work and more shows to be announced very soon! What the Crows Brought Me, a solo exhibition by Dianne Hoffman ARTHOUSE GALLERY 1021 R Street in Sacramento CA Open Monday, July 4th 10 a.m. – 2 p.m and Tuesday, July 5th 10 a.m. – 4 p.m #whatthecrowsbroughtme #sacramento #sacramentogallery #showaboutcrows #crowfriends #assemblageexhibition #foundobjectart #diannehoffmanart #Rstreetcorridor #sacramentoartshow #diannehoffmanart #assemblageartist #arthouseonr (at Arthouse on R) https://www.instagram.com/p/CfjhptELSx9/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

The last days to visit my solo exhibition "What The Crows Brought Me" in Sacramento are upon us. This show has really opened so many doors for me to learn more about these fascinating birds and the people they resoundingly resonate with. Five of the 24 pieces in the show have been claimed by California collectors from as far North as Eureka and as far South as Los Angeles. Remember that all art sales for this exhibition are processed directly through me. You can reference the 'Available Work' tab of my website and reach out with any inquiries. Thank you for your continued interest and support! I am so excited to hang my new solo show this week at @umagalleryoakland. Be sure to give this new gallery a follow and spread the word that there's an awesome new art space in Oakland!!! They have been a pleasure to work with and wrote an impressive press release for the show: UMA Gallery is pleased to present “ANATOMICALLY INCORRECT”, a solo exhibition of mixed‐media assemblages by San Francisco based artist Dianne Hoffman. Using found objects and recycled materials, Hoffman creates intimately scaled, three‐dimensional tableaux that give new life and meaning to discarded items. Further embellished with collage and other traditional media, each assemblage tells a story that reflects the artist’s curiosity, compassion, and sense of humor. Hoffman’s work is characterized by muted and earthy colors, creating whispers of nostalgia from these artifacts left over from another time. ANATOMICALLY INCORRECT is UMA Gallery’s first solo‐artist exhibition in the repurposed embalming studio of the Mosswood Chapel, a former mortuary located at 3630 Telegraph Ave, in the Lower Temescal district of Oakland CA. UMA Gallery is also the producer of Unkle Morty’s Pop‐Ups, a monthly market of independent arts & crafts vendors held on the First Saturday of each month in the same location. Unkle Morty is a co‐creation of Donna Davis and John Warner. Exhibition Dates / Times Exhibition Dates: September 4 – September 29, 2021. Artist Reception: Friday, September 17, 5:00 – 7:00pm. Location Mosswood Chapel, 3630 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland CA 94609 #umagallery #oaklandgallery #oaklandartevent #oaklandart #assemblageart #assemblageartists #diannehoffmanart #assemblageexhibition #artshow #artexhibition #artexhibit #darkart #foundobjectart #recycledobjects #foundobjects #Eastbay #anatomicallyincorrect #honoringanimalsinart #embalmingroom #mosswoodchapel #savethedate (at Oakland, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CTLLBCjB5cF/?utm_medium=tumblr
