You know what's messed up about people hating on characters who cry? When the character actually has legit reasons to cry! Some of them be put in life or death situations! AND BE KIDS!
I don't know about the rest of you, but I would cry every single second if I was Midoriya. Like, folks be calling him a "crybaby" in a derogatory fashion but think about all he has gone through.
You really think you wouldn't be crying, too? Be honest, be honest. Even if you don't do it right in front of people, you would cry behind closed doors.

The only way Charles could be safe from Salacia is if he died, and once he does, he learns about the prophecy, and The Church of the Black Klok. So... does that mean that MMA beating Charles in Dethrelease/Black Fire Upon Us not only drives me insane, but is a crucial moment in the prophecy?? Idk if it HAD to be MMA or if it could've been anyone who "kills" Charles. I am of the personal belief that MMA's role in prophecy is to guide (albeit accidentally) Dethklok towards their destiny. It's when he's first hired to kill DK that the metalocalypse begins, according to Cardinal Ravenwood. it's only after his attack on Mordhaus that CFO learns of his role as The Dead Man, it's through rescuing Toki and Abigail that the band first uses their powers, the Dethlights. Without ever realizing it, he's caught up in this ancient prophecy, actively being a pain in the ass for everyone involved, inching towards the precipice of an apocalypse. potentially controversial personal opinion I think arcane s2 would be getting a lot more flack if it wasn't for all the shipping fodder and shiny objects packed in there. convinced you could spoon-feed toddler upchuck to half of the population as long as you go Brrrr here comes the yaoi airplane
#Like season 2 is just Not good#after the hype died down I realized this#character assassination Concepts that desperately needed fleshing out Important developments being glossed over etc#it's a gorgeous show and the writing isn't egregious especially compared to a lot of what's out there but comparing it to season 1#is like putting a bichon frise next to a Timber wolf writing-wise#nothing in s2 felt as visceral as it did in s1#I don't feel any desire to rewatch it at all meanwhile you could ask me at any point if I wanted to watch s1 again and I'd be like Fuck yes#even if I'd just seen it again 5 days before#if you don't give a fuck about shipping s2 feels like a drag at a lot of points#nothing will make me fume more than the fact Vi's lesbian crash-out pitfighting emo phase was contained to a single music video#I WANTED TO SEE THAT SHIT! show us her at her lowest!! make us stew in it and feel it with her!!#don't just give us 2 minutes of her kicking ass with occasional emo shit in between#Viktor and Jayce have an interesting story though I will say that. The arcane shit was really cool#but that's it. it was cool. someone: how angsty do you want your identity reveal scenario to be?
me: so what if right after Anya's powers are revealed Twilight asks her why she tricked him into adopting her, if she was put into it by someone else in order to expose him, and Anya tries to tell him she wanted to help and he asks why would you want to help me and she's like "because you want a peaceful world where children don't cry" and he nearly has a flashback triggered by that and she runs and hugs his legs saying she wants to help and be good and Twilight just. Pushes her away. Gently and without physically hurting her but emotionally it's a massacre. And he sees her devastated face because of his rejection and realizes he has now caused her the pain he never wanted to see on another child's face, and he thanks whatever lucky stars he doesn't deserve that Yor is there because he cannot process anything else and just leaves out the door, leaving Anya to bawl in Yor's arms :)
#he would eventually drag his ass back home#but Yor would be so outraged she would slap him so hard his jaw would nearly dislocate#and look look I have an entire story planned for this#like Yor stays with Anya all day because she wouldn't stop crying#they call Yor for an assignment and she has to say no#cause she cannot leave Anya even with a babysitter at the state she's in#and then the Shopkeeper is pissed and orders one of his assassins to poison Anya#and she ends up in the hospital#Yor and Loid find out who poisoned her and Loid goes to kill the ppl responsible#but it was a TRAP! Shopkeeper captures him and orders Yor to kill him#but Yor kills Shopkeeper instead!! less for Loid's sake and more because of what he did to Anya#they cover it all up and they go back to the hospital#Loid has a breakdown and cries next to an unconscious Anya telling her how sorry he is about what he did to her#and that it's his fault that she was poisoned#she wakes up and he apologizes again and says he'll understand if she's mad#but she just hugs him and for the first time HE HUGS HER BACK and they're both crying#and eventually he falls asleep next to her on her hospital bed#Yor finds them sleeping like that and decides to give him another cautious chance#Spy x Family#sxf plot bunny#I can't wait for this to actually happen and for me to learn about it in seven years when it'll happen in the anime *clown emoji*

brain let me do it without being upset last night so i would like to propose the au where at least some of cp9 are on the ship that sanji’s on and forcibly adopt him as a younger sibling and sanji’s like “i went from one group of baby assassins to a second group of baby assassins”. obv zeff still turns up and all that fun jazz happens, with bonus cp9 working food service and also smacking zeff every time he decides that kicking a kid in the head is a valid teaching tool
