Active Facilities concern all things physical. The development will offer a fully equipped panoramic gym packed with cardiovascular and strength equipment. As the location of the property is a key selling point, showcasing the beautiful skyline only strengthens that aspect. Residents can also enjoy a healthy sweat in the steam rooms. What differentiates this property from others is their attention to the ever growing fitness industry. Unlike most condominium swimming pools, , Ideo Rama 9-Asoke’s 40m salt-water swimming pool will come with pre-installed aqua bicycles. Research surrounding the idea that running and jogging can damage your joints are on the rise. Aqua cycling provides an alternative to people who find high-impact exercises such as jogging strenuous, but normal cycling too easy. Some may see this as a gimmick, others may find this beneficial. A boxing area will also available for those who are keen on high-intensity workouts. The large outdoor space can be used for exercising, relaxing, or working. Advancements in the technology industry have led to a new generation of professionals. This new generation prioritizes schedule flexibility over everything. Productivity should not be measured by the number of hours at the office, but rather the performance and output of work. Ananda Development has jumped on this bandwagon, providing residents with a co-working space. The majority of co-working spaces in Bangkok come at a cost, meaning you need to commute to various places around the city to find them. Aside from being a drain, you will also end up sharing your working space with a bunch of random people. Ideo Rama 9 – Asoke’s co-working space will be for residents only. Dwellers will be better equipped to handle the changing business industry, working from home free of charge.

If the farm gets any closer to the table at Haoma, customers will be sitting in dirt. In the humid buzz of Thailand's capital, this urban farm and fish pond within a fine-dining restaurant take sustainability to a new level.
Pass through a long driveway framed by edible flowers in a remote corner of Bangkok's Asoke neighborhood and you'll arrive at what claims to be the first urban farm and zero-waste restaurant in the country. A server will take you on a tour of both the aquaponic and vertical farms that together supply some of the menu's produce. A large koi pond stretches the length of the building. The evaporation from the pond keeps the building cool while the waste from the fish (which appear on the menu themselves) is circulated throughout the aquaponic section to deliver nutrients to more delicate produce such as mizuna, mint, borage, and dill.
The chic restaurant was designed with juxtaposition in mind. The serene dining room is nestled within the bustle of Asoke, with warm wooden accents tempering the edge of black metal. Simple produce from the farm is transformed into edible works of art, often using complex molecular techniques.
Neo-Indian tasting menus using hyper-local Thai ingredients highlight head chef Deepanker Khosla's expertise while also employing the farm's multitude of fresh fish and greens. A refined galouti kebab dish is enhanced by citrus gel and Thai truffles, while a dish called "Prawns on the Rock" couples tamarind with peanut and lime foam. "Haoma in a Bite" is comprised solely of ingredients harvested from the premises: house carp gets topped with mustard greens and a seven-herbed chlorophyll jelly before kombucha SCOBY crisps are crested atop.
In the name of zero waste, much of the cocktails are made up of scraps from the kitchen. Strawberries (along with their oft-discarded stems) are juiced and hardened into the fruit leather that graces the simply named "Strawberry" cocktail, while the tongue-in-cheek "Kale" slips gin into a blend of up-cycled avocado, kale, apple, and celery.
This secluded, verdant pocket of Bangkok may have just cracked the sustainable restaurant code. With Haoma racking up an impressive list of awards, diners may have to make reservations weeks in advance for a tasting course of the future.

Disclaimer: In exchange for two nights, I am writing this review. Additionally, I would like to specifically thank Ann at The Marcom Pro for helping to arrange this review, and Jern, a marketing manager at this hotel, for meeting with me.
The Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok, Sukhumvit 15 (though completely Marriott-owned now)is located in the Asok neighborhood of the Thai capital, very close to the BTS Asok (skytrain) station, Sukhumvit MRT (metro) station, and a short taxi ride/metro ride from the Makkasan Airport Express station. Among the nearby attractions are the Terminal 21 shopping center and significant nightlife, and the hotel is a short BTS ride away from other popular shopping malls such as Emporium, Siam Paragon, and the MBK Center. As a bonus, the hotel offers a free tuk-tuk service to both the MRT Sukhumvit station and Terminal 21.
Furthermore, it is close to many businesses and embassies, and as such, sees significant numbers of business travelers availing themselves of the brand’s more affordable comfort.
Hotel Lobby (Stock Photo)
The Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok has two wings – the Pool Wing and the Garden Wing – totaling 249 rooms and 19 suites. Also, there are four meeting rooms with 3, 810 square feet (roughly 354 square meters); guests of the suites have complimentary access to the meeting spaces for a period. The whole of the hotel prohibits smoking, and there is wi-fi available throughout the property.
Check-In
After exiting the Asok BTS station (closest to station exits 5 and 1), I easily found the Four Points Bangkok, thanks in part to the descriptive hotel name. At the front desk, Mariaa and Best were nice, and briefly explained to me some of the features of the hotel, as well as the hours of the breakfast buffet.
6th Floor Corridor
I made my way up to my 6th floor corner room, though as luck would have, neither room key worked. Leaving my bags at the foot of the door, I asked housekeeping to contact reception to bring new keys, but she at first told me to do it myself. Sigh. Eventually she caved in, and Best brought over the new (functioning) keys.
Room
My first impression of my Deluxe Room was one of simple comfort. The interior was mostly wood paneling, with a sizable work desk and two large nightstands. All rooms at the Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok have floor-to-ceiling windows, although you wouldn’t stay at this hotel for the city views.
Part of the work desk had jacks into which both USB and HDMI cables could connect to the tv, clearly a nod to business travelers aiming to finesse their presentations and/or other documents. The minibar was well-stocked with your usual drinks and snacks, and the luggage storage shelf was conveniently placed.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
The HVAC system had an easy-to-use wall panel, and one light switch at the bedside controlled almost every light in the room, in addition to offering many places to charge standard electrical and USB devices.
The bed was easily one of the most comfortable I have slept on in recent memory. I can’t begin to describe how much of a treat it was. I don’t take naps, but this bed makes them rather difficult to pass up.
Lastly, the bathroom had that bizarrely East Asian-quality to it, in which it opens up for a view of the bedroom…yet the shower is somewhat frosted.
My two biggest complaints were the finicky internet connection, which logged me out every now and then, and the single-use plastic containers in the shower. However, I’m going to be thinking about that bed for a long time, especially when in China where I’m subjected to “concrete” mattresses.
The Eatery
The Eatery is the primary restaurant at the Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok, offering both buffet and à la carte options.
I made my way down to The Eatery at around 06:00, but it was a bit busy even at that point. One waiter served me both Earl Grey and peppermint tea, so the drinks were set.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
My hotel contact, Jern, mentioned that the chef was particularly proud of their Thai dishes, and you know what, that food was pretty good. Other choices included a few Japanese, Western, and Indian selections, a salad bar, omelette bar, noodle bar, fruit, breads, and yogurt. Having no expectations coming into the buffet, I was pleasantly surprised. Also, Meya, the only waitress who stopped by after I had sat down, provided good service throughout the restaurant.
My only complaint was that there was no “sneeze guard” to cover most of the foods.
Operating hours of The Eatery are 06:30-10:30 (weekdays)/06:30-11:00 (weekends), and 11:00-23:00 for lunch and dinner.
Amenities
Hotel Pool and amBar (Stock Photo)
In addition to a 24-hour gym, the hotel pool on the 8th floor (of the pool wing) is open daily from 07:00-22:30. Interestingly, the pool also has the distinction of being the first location for a pool party in all of Bangkok. It is held on the first Saturday of every month.
On the pool level, there is also amBar, a cocktail bar open for dinner nightly. If you’re craving pub food and nightly live entertainment, check out The Irish Pub Bangkok, open everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Overall, I would stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok, Sukhumvit 15 again for its quiet rooms, comfortable beds, and decent buffet. Although the immediate neighborhood is not for me, it’s convenient public transit-wise, and it’s close to many restaurants of diverse cuisines.

When you talk about the best cuisine in the world, Thai food is right up there. Along with Italian, Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Mexican, Thai food makes it to the top 10 list of popular cuisines in the world. Irresistible Vegetarian Thai Food Dishes To Try
1. Som Tam (Spicy Green Thai Papaya Salad)

This is one of the popular Thai vegetarian dishes you can try in Thailand. The mouthwatering meal is prepared using, galangal, juicy tomatoes, carrots, shredded green (unripe) papaya, lime and tamarind juice, long beans, palm sugar, and peanuts. The ingredients give the meal a sweet, spicy, salty, sour and savory flavor. The salad usually has fish sauce and prawns included, so when ordering you make sure to say you’re vegetarian/vegan for these ingredients not to be included in your dish.
2. Pad Thai (Stir-Fried Rice Noodles)

A vegetarian Thai food cuisine menu cannot miss this dish. It is one of the national dishes in Thailand and is also very popular among tourists. Mostly it is cooked with eggs, bean sprouts, tasty tofu cubes, onions, lime juice, groundnuts, and shrimp or chicken. However, you can ask the chef to omit the meat products. The famous Thai dish is just as tasty without them. Pad Thai is sold everywhere in Thailand from five-star restaurants to the street food stalls.
3. Pad Phuk Tong (Stir-Fried Pumpkin)

You’re probably used to seeing pumpkins begin carved out during Halloween. In Thailand they have a much better use for pumpkins, they use them to create this vegetarian dish. Other ingredients used to prepare Pad Phuk tong are spring onions, coriander leaves, sugar, garlic, water, white pepper, celery, and soy sauce. This is one of the best vegetarian dishes in Thailand and you should try it with Thai fragrant rice.
4. Pak Boong (Morning Glory)

This is one of the healthiest foods you can take while you’re on vacation in Thailand. The delicious salad which is salty, crunchy, spicy and sour has soy sauce, chilies, soybean paste, and garlic. Oyster sauce is often added when preparing morning glory, so again tell the cook making it not to include the sauce to keep it vegetarian.
5. Pad Pak (Fried Vegetables)
As the name suggests this is an all-vegetable Thai dish. Some of the vegetables used to make it are mushrooms, cauliflower, and broccoli. When you go to a food stall you’ll see the different vegetables used to prepare it displayed and you can choose what you want or don’t want in your Pad Pak.
6. Vegetable Noodle Soup with Lemongrass
Should you visit Thailand during the cold season this noodle soup is what you should have to keep you warm on a chilly day. It is known to be a good remedy for a cold or flu and is also said to help boost your mood. To make it lemongrass, several vegetables, thin rice noodles or noodles of your choice, coconut milk is needed. The soup is quite filling and can be had as a meal on its own at any time of the day.
7. Vegetarian Thai Green Curry
Thai cuisine has a wide variety of curries with Panang and Massaman curry being some of the most popular ones. A lot of curries are made with meat but this can be removed in your order. The Thai green vegetable curry, for example, has meat in it but you can substitute this with tofu or wheat gluten. Whichever you choose will be mixed with kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, galangal, coriander seeds, green chilies, and coconut milk.
8. Pad Phak (Stir-Fried Vegetables)
This is another all vegetable meal that will ensure you stick to your vegetarian diet. It will also leave you full but wanting for more. Ingredients required to make this meal are vegetable oil, coarsely chopped garlic, broccoli florets, cauliflower florets, shallots, carrots, bell pepper, snow peas, mushrooms, soy sauce, spinach leaves, Thai pepper powder, and lime juice. These are all mixed together to give your food several different flavors. You can enjoy this meal with Thai jasmine rice.
9. Tao Hoo Song Kreung (Mixed Tofu)
If you don’t know tofu, it is soya milk coagulated to create curd. It is an excellent source of protein, iron, and calcium for vegans and vegetarians. To make this Thai meal different types of tofu are fried with the basil to make a tasty stir fry. Like most of the other dishes, we have talked about mixed tofu is usually served with some steaming rice.
10. Laab Jay (Vegan Laab)
In Thailand, most Laab salads have chicken, beef or pork but you can have a vegetarian version. Simply replace the meat with tofu and you have an amazing meal. The tofu is mixed with lime juice, Thai roasted chili paste, green onions, coriander leaves, roast rice powder, lemongrass, etc. The spices used to make this meal make it very hot and spicy, so if you don’t like spicy food ask for it to be prepared moderate or mild.
11. Thai fruit
Fruits in the streets of Thailand
If you have had enough of Thai vegetable meals on your trip switch to some fruits. Fruits are very healthy and in Thailand, you can try some of their rare fruits. You can but a bag of fruits from street vendors for 40 Baht (Baht is the official currency of Thailand), which is about $1. Mangosteen, rambutans, banana, durian, pomelos, rose apples, dragon fruit, lychee, coconut, and guava are some of the fruits you’ll find available at the fruit stand on the street corners of Bangkok.

Top Vegetarian Thai food Restaurants in Thailand
Roasted Bananas from streets of Bangkok
You can get Thai vegetarian dishes in most cities in Thailand you go visit. However, to make it easier for you here are some of my favorite vegetarian restaurants you can visit around Thailand:
1. Broccoli Revolution, Bangkok
This vegetarian Thai food restaurant located in downtown Sukhumvit was first opened in Bangkok in 2015. It now has two locations. It not only serves vegetarian dishes from around the world but also has a juice bar, which makes some of the best organic juices you’ll ever drink.
The Restaurant is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm so you can head on there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I recommend you try the pad thai, mushrooms and basil on rice and green curry. This will cost you about 150-200 baht.
2. Greenlight Cafe & Bar, Koh Samui
This is not an exclusively vegetarian restaurant but their menu includes a wide range of Thai vegetable meals you will enjoy. Most of the ingredients used to make their dishes are organic and come from their kitchen garden.
It is open throughout the week 8 am to 10 pm. You can find the Greenlight Cafe & Bar at 3/28 Moo 1, Fisherman’s Village, Bophut, Koh Samui.
3. Atsumi Raw Cafe
This restaurant located in Rawai, Phuket is well known for its raw vegan and raw vegetarian menu. It also serves an amazing selection of smoothies, desserts, and juices made from organic ingredients. Going through its menu you may be overwhelmed by the large number of vegetarian dishes to choose from. However, the tom ka soup and zucchini pepper wrap will blow you away. Atsumi Raw Cafe is open from 9 am to 8:30 pm daily. The last order taken is at 8 pm.
4. Tien Sien
At this simple Thai restaurant, you get to choose what you want to eat as the food is served buffet style. You simply get in line and point out what you want on your plate. The restaurant has very friendly staff who will explain to you what the different Thai meals displayed on the counter are.
Meals are affordable and for about 70 Baht you can enjoy a large plate of vegan food. Situated at 439 Khwaeng Silom, Khet Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, this restaurant is closed on Sundays but from Monday to Saturday it is open from 7:30 am to 3 pm.
5. May Veggie Home, Bangkok
Their motto is ‘Tasty vegetables amazing dishes. When you’re here, you’re family!’
The all-vegetarian restaurant food has got many tourists taking and it has been dubbed by some as the best vegetarian restaurant in Bangkok. Looking at the reviews made by those who have been there that assertion could be true.
If you visit May Veggie Home try the Tom Kha mushroom soup, yellow curry with tofu, pad thai tofu or Penang curry with tofu, I guarantee you will love these meals. For dessert, there are several vegan cakes and ice creams you can order.
The restaurant is at 8/3 (Asoke-Sukhumvit Intersection) Ratchadaphisek Road, Khlong Toei, Bangkok. It is open from 11 am–10 pm daily.
6. Ethos Vegetarian
If you’re looking for a relaxing place to grab a late supper after a long day of touring in Bangkok this is the place to go to. Located near Khaosan Night Market, the market that never sleeps, Ethos Vegetarian is open until a few minutes to midnight every day. So you can pass by here for a meal before heading back to your hotel to call it a day.
Try the yellow curry with potatoes, spicy glass noodle soup, vegetarian Thai spring rolls and don’t forget to ask for some of their fresh fruit juices.
7. May Kaidee
This restaurant has two locations, one in Bangkok and another in Chiang Mai. Both serve mouthwatering vegan and vegetarian meals, such as tofu green curry, banana flower salad, Pad Tai, and som tom.
If you would like to learn how to make Thai food, to cook for yourself or family once you get back home, May Kaidee offers cooking classes you can attend throughout the year. There are open every day from 9 am to 10 pm.

Conclusion
As you can see there are many Thai vegetarian dishes and places that sell these meals in Thailand. So you don’t have to worry that you won’t stick to your vegan or vegetarian diet when you travel to the country.
However to be on the safe side always tell the chef or waiter serving you that you are vegetarian or vegan. You can do that in Thai by saying “gin jay.” Because most restaurants prepare your food after you make an order. The chef or waiter will take extra precaution not to add meat to your meal.
For a vegan to ensure no fish sauce or oyster sauce is added to your meal say “mai ow nam bplaa” or “mai ow nam man hoy” This way you get no meat or animal products in your meal.
Let us know which of these meals you have tasted/tried during your trip. How was it? We would also like to taste them if we haven’t already done so on our next trip to Thailand.

If you want to date and have sex with Thai girls then this article will show you the easiest way to do this. This is the dirty truth based on years of experience, friends in Thailand, and men I have consulted with.
Use Line App (to communicate)
Bargirls/freelancers are easy
Middle-class Thai girls are conservative
High society girls are next to impossible
Go to Nana and Asoke for fun
Use apps like Smooci for easy sex
Use online dating to meet nice Thai girls
Best dating websites (ThaiCupid, ThaiFriendly, Tinder)
Dress to impress, even though it's hot!
Day game works, but only in limited siutations
Dating and sex with Thai girls has its advantages. Thai girls are feminine, slim, generally fun and easy-going.
This is in contrast to a lot of Western women, who are overweight, masculine, argumentative, and demanding.
Having said that, this article isn’t going to sugarcoat anything. This is the truth on how to date and have sex with Thai girls (including good girls, bad girls, bar girls and more).
Thai Girls Are Conservative
To the outside world, Thai women appear to be some of the easiest and most sexually liberal women on the planet. In reality, Thailand is actually a conservative place.
When you hear stories about Thailand and watch movies like The Hangover Part 2 it’s natural to think that Thailand is this crazy part of the world where everyone is having sex and Thai women will sleep with everyone and anyone.
In truth, this represent only a small part of Thailand (like Soho in London or the Vegas Strip). In Bangkok, Nana (Soi 4) and Soi Cowboy (two small red light districts) comprise the area where hookers and bar girls congregate.
There are other red light districts spattered around Thailand that, as a foreigner, you will never know about or have access to (unless you’re introduced by a Thai person).
Suffice to say, Thailand appears to be a relaxed, sexually liberal country, but dig a little deeper beneath the surface and you’ll soon discover that Thailand is anything but liberal and sexually open.
With that said, if you come to Thailand on holiday and you stay in the Nana area (like many tourists) or you go to Khao San Road (an area almost on the outskirts of Bangkok), you will see a different "tourist version" of Thailand.
You’ll leave Thailand with the belief that it’s easy to have sex with Thai girls and that Thailand is a crazy, wild place (just like in the movies).
It’s important to note that large sections of Thai society would love to have these red light districts closed down. They are embarrassed by these areas, and it rubs against their conservative values.
Easy Sex With Thai Girls
Before we get into how to have sex with Thai girls, we need to look at the different type of Thai girls and what is the best way to seduce them.
In Thailand the line is often blurred between bargirls, massage girls, and hookers.
These are the easiest Thai girls to have sex with. In general, bargirls, massage girls, and hookers come from poorer families (often from Isaan), and they are much more open to dating and having sex with foreigners.
Because Thai society has a social class and Thai society is hierarchical, darker skinned Thai girls and girls from Provences like Isaan are pretty much at the lower end of the social hierarchy.
Note: Thai men do not dream of marrying dark skinned Thai girls and poor girls from the countryside. In a country that values “light skin” (as evidenced by the fact that they fill all their moisturizer products with skin whitening), dark skinned girls are the least desired type of girls among local Thais.
These girls know this and they understand their position in society. Often, these Thai girls are from poorer families with lower levels of education.
As a result, they move to places like Bangkok (and other tourist areas) and frequently take up work in massage parlous (both legit and non-legit parlors). They also work as bargirls, and others will become hookers.
If you want to have easy sex with Thai girls, the freelancers and bargirls are your best bet.
Where to Get Sex With Thai Girls
The best places to go to have sex with Thai girls are Nana (including Nana Plaza and Soi 4), Soi Cowboy, the massage parlors on Soi 23, and the soapie massage parlors in Ratchada.
If you want to see a Thai bar at its craziest, where the girls take all their clothes off, pop into Crazy House on the corner of Soi Cowboy. And for light-hearted fun and entertainment, Spanky’s in Nana Plaza is worth a visit.
These areas are best for tourists who just want to have fun and have sex. They are, of course, pay for play establishment and if you want to take any girls out of the bars or have sex with a Thai girl in a massage parlor, you will have to pay for the privilege (prices are negotiable).
Avoid These Thai Girls
It must be said: these types of girls are barely tolerable. While they are nice enough in their own way, their level of English, education and insufferable conversation leaves something to be desired.
These are not the type of girls you want to spend time with or bring home to your parents. Once you’ve had your fun, that’s it. End of story. Close the book.
If you fall in love with a bargirl, don’t be surprised if you end up paying the price for your transgressions sooner rather than later.
These girls are not suitable for marriage or long-term relationships. They often cheat. And many have numerous satellite boyfriends, feeding them money from overseas.
These Thai girls are jealous by nature (as they will expect you do to unto them as they do unto you).
This extreme jealousy and frequent acts of insanity are often fueled by drugs and alcohol (look no further if you want excessive drama in your life).
Bargirls have often had so many sexual partners that they have become desensitized to sex and genuine feelings of love and romance.
As a result, these girls can cut a man out of their life in the blink of an eye (the moment a man fails to fulfill his financial duties).
Add to this the fact that these girls will often ask you for money and expect you to pay them, making frequent donations to their bank account just to keep them around and interested.
IAs a final word of warning, don’t confuse erratic, crazy behavior with feminine behavior.
I’ve spoken to lots of guys who’ve had problems with their Thai girlfriends. They will tell me that their girlfriend keeps asking for money. Their girlfriend is cutting herself and acting crazy. She has fits of jealous rage. And she checks the man’s phone on a frequent basis.
In situations like this the same phrase keeps popping up, “it’s okay, she’s Thai.” It’s not okay.
If she was a Western girl, you’d want to have her admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Just because you're in Thailand, don't give these girls a free pass just because they're Thai.
Cut and run and save yourself a world of trouble.
If you want to get screwed out of your life savings and lose your peace of mind in the process, look no further than Thai girls (from the bar, red light districts and massage parlous).
These girls are NOT girlfirend/wife material. But you can have fun with them if you're so inclined.
These girls are often available on datings apps too. You can find these girls on Tinder, Thai Friendly, Thai Cupid, and if you want girls delivered to your room you can use a service like Smooci (where you can choose girls online, vet their pictures, and they will come to your room).
Online Dating In Thailand
Although it’s not the best method of meeting girls, as a foreigner, online dating is definitely the way to go in Thailand.
Thai girls are timid and shy by nature, so online dating is a safe and easy way for these girls to meet men.
You will still need a level of patience when doing online dating with Thai girls––this is not Tinder 2013 where all you had to do was show up to score.
These days apps and dating sites like Tinder, Thai Friendly and Thai Cupid are swamped with foreigners looking to meet Thai girls. Still, don't be discouraged.
This just means you will need to be more patient and have a good online profile if you want to attract attention from Thai girls.
There are many Thai women who have been burnt by foreign men and have their guard up.
There is even a Facebook group where Thai women come together to report “bad foreign men” who have lied to them or cheated them.
This doesn’t mean that you can’t date Thai girls, but it does mean some women have their guard up (unlike in the past). It’s not as easy and the quality available is lower in general.
It’s still easy to meet Thai girls online but at first bite they won’t be the good, virginal types. They will be the poorer, darker skinned types (usually massage girls, bargirls, or girls from the country) who are lower done on the Thai social ladder.
If you meet a girl online and it seems too good to be true, it's because it is. These girls are likely to be older, single mothers, or from a poorer part of Thailand (i.e., anywhere outside of Bangkok).
Lighter skinned Thai girls often take a lot more work and patience to date. Light skinned Thai girls usually have a preference for all things Thai.
Generally, the poorer the girl or the darker the skin, the more open to dating foreigners she will be.
Easy Thai Girls (Fun, Sexy and Better English)
Thai people are often stunned when a foreigner comes to Thailand and ends up hooking up (no pun intended) with a bargirl or dark-skinned Isaan beauty.
Why on earth would a man do such a thing? The Thai person thinks in the confines of his mind. She’s so uneducated. So low class. So dark skinned. So trashy…
Alas, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what many Thais fail to appreciate is that dark skin and exotic features are rare in the West.
These dark skinned beauties (who hail from the provences) are often curvier, sexier, and more liberal and friendly than their middle-class counterparts.
These girls often hail from poor families and come to Bangkok to take up honest work (and not so honest work).
These girls are acutely aware of their place in Thai society and have no illusions about where they stand and their chances of progressing in life.
It is highly unlikely that a poor, dark skinned Thai girl will be able to meet and marry a middle-class/wealthy Thai man.
Cast down by society, they are left with only two options: poor/uneducated Thai men in the same situation as themselves... or foreign men.
As all women, by nature, strive to improve their social position, foreign men are often a good fit for such women.
Foreign men have the money to “rescue” these girls from a life of indentured servitude (cue feminist eye roll), and foreign men are generally ignorant of the girl’s place in society (viewing the woman as equals).
You can meet good, but fairly uneducated, poor Thai girls working as shop assistants, coffee shop girls, and walking around the malls and streets of Bangkok.
You can also meet these girls in abundance online.
Middle-Class Thai Girls (Conservative)
Middle-class girls make up a huge section of Thai society. They are usually university educated and conservative by nature.
If you’re living in Thailand or looking to come to Thailand to meet a nice, feminine Thai girl with good family values who is loyal and loving, these are the types of girls you want to date.
Now, as a foreigner, it’s easy to imagine that you can just swoop into Thailand and these virginal girls will be desperate to date you.
You’re white, you’re good looking, you’ve got money, and you come from a first world country… yeah, these girls couldn’t care less about that.
These girls can be difficult to seduce for the simple reason that they are raised in conservative Thai families, have strong Buddhist values, and don’t speak much English (the level of English in Thailand is poor in general beyond superficial greetings and business transactions).
The other factor that makes your average, middle-class Thai girl difficult to seduce is that Thailand doesn’t have a one-night-stand culture like the West.
It’s easy to be fooled into thinking that because you make $5,000 back home, you can waltz into Thailand and have sex with a middle-class Thai girl (who only makes $1,000 a month if she’s lucky).
Sounds like a great deal. She’d be crazy not to go for it, right?
Again, it’s the classic, you’ve got the cash, you’ve got the looks, you’ve got the passport, “Why the hell doesn’t she like me?” paradox.
All the while there are several crucial factors working against you:
1) Middle-class Thai girls aren’t as interested in your money as you think they are. Yes, they might not make as much money as you, but their social status and their relationship with society is much more important than selling out for cash.
2) The nature of love and dating is different in Thailand compared to the West. Hence the joke: When a Western man marries a Thai woman, the Thai wife's parents come first, then her children, then the family dog, then the husband.
It’s a joke, but there’s truth to it.
3) The other issue you must overcome is the fact that you can’t speak Thai, or your Thai is limited. This will rule out a large section of Thai girls you can have sex with because you won’t be able to meet them, seduce them, and date them.
In the back of every good, Thai girl’s mind, there are several thoughts running through her head: (1) What will her friends and family think of you (very important in Thai culture); (2) Can she communicate with you? (3) Are you someone she could marry? And (4) What will her family think of you? Again! Yes, this issue really is that important.
Hi-So Girls (Difficult and High Maintenance)
Hi-so (high society) girls are Thai girls who sit at the top of Thai society. They are rich, educated, elegant, dressed-to-the-nines, and usually fair skinned (often through cosmetic manipulation).
These girls are often light skinned to the point of being pale. And they are often skinny (to the point of being bone thin). They may or may not be Thai-Chinese, but they are certainly rich (well, their daddy's are rich).
In addition, there are many regular Thai girls who are “wannabe hi-so girls.”
Bangkok has had a massive population growth over the years, mixed with a society that is hierarchical and unequal—you get plenty of outsiders looking to raise their status and improve their lot in life.
These girls are not rich, but they will pretend to be rich, spending large amounts of money getting into debt just to keep up appearances. These wannabe hi-so girls are intolerable and are best avoided.
Hi-so girls usually live in the richest neighborhoods of Bangkok (Phroem Phong or Thong Lo). You wouldn’t know these areas were wealthy from looking at the streets, but the property values are very expensive.
Hi-so girls usually hang out in expensive malls in Bangkok (like Gaysorn, Paragon and EM Quartier). You will also spot them at The Commons (Thong Lo) and other boutique cafes and expensive restaurants.
Despite what a lot of farang (foreigners) think, you will most likely never meet a real hi-so girl, let alone date one.
If you’re a foreigner who thinks he’s dating a hi-so girl, you’re probably not. You’re probably dating a “wannabe” hi-so girl.
Real hi-so girls come from generations of Thai wealth and status. These girls and their families keep to themselves. And they generally only socialize, date, and marry other hi-so people.
Hi-so girls do NOT date foreigners because dating a foreigner taints their social status and their precious reputation.
Yes, this stance is loaded with hypocrisy, considering the fact that most hi-so girls (and guys) go to the West to get a proper “elite” education.
For the most part, hi-so families want their daughters to marry into other hi-so families where they can solidify their Thai connections with a view to increasing their wealth and power.
As a foreigner, you do not fit into this framework (unless you are equally “hi-so” wealthy and powerful in the West).
Your chance of meeting a real hi-so girl is slim. I have heard stories from friends who have met hi-so girls in clubs and bars and the girls won't even deign to speak to a foreigner.
In the girl's mind, it is unbecoming to be seen talking to, or socializing with a foreign man. Her value and status will be lowered if she does so, and Thailand is a country that is, if anything, very status conscious.
In general, wannabe hi-so girls are also not looking to date foreigners, but these girls will probably make an exception if you’re rich or good looking.
If you have lots of cash, these girls will be happy to spend your money and act like a spoiled brat in the process.
I recommend you stay away from these types of hi-so women (the real and the fake). They are locked in their own world, a world that is small, superficial, and insular.
Most Thai Girls Aren’t Looking For Fun
Thailand isn’t the West. The “let’s have fun and hook-up and see where it goes” style of dating doesn’t apply to Thai girls.
Thai girls are raised in a non-sexual culture. A culture where every girl is trained, almost from birth, to focus on finding a good husband to start a family with.
If you want to have sex with Thai girls who are middle-class (or girls that are considered normal in society), you have to overcome some difficult issues that will conflict with your Western values.
Having sex with these Thai girls is possible, but it’s not as easy you think. It’s going to require patience and persistence.
You can still meet, date and have sex with “good” Thai girls, but it’s not going to be done the same way that you would do it in the West.
It’s unlikely that you will just walk into a nightclub and find a nice middle-class Thai girl waiting for you.
You can find these girls in nightclubs (in RCA for example), but these girls are usually quite clique, hanging out in groups of Thai friends (who only speak Thai). Good luck breaking the ice there…
You can day game these girls, where you speak to them during the day when they’re out and about (around university areas, 7/11’s, malls, etc.).
It is really easy to get a Thai girl’s number, but don’t think for a minute that it’s going to be that easy to set up a date.
Thai women rarely say no to giving their number out. Their culture doesn’t allow them to lose face and they don’t want you to lose face either.
Getting numbers isn’t the difficult part, it’s getting the date afterwards that is the hard part.
Get a girl’s number in the West and you’ll probably have a decent conversion rate, get a girl’s number in Thailand and you’ll be lucky to see her again.
Note: In general, the darker the girl’s skin, the more success you’re likely to have with the girl. The lighter the girls skin, the harder it will be.
Thai girls aren't used to meeting strangers. Usually, a Thai girl meets a man at school or university; otherwise, she is introduced to someone through her friends or family.
Meeting a (foreigner) stranger on the street isn’t part of a normal, Thai girl’s mental framework. These girls will still be polite to you, but they will be scared, and they are unlikely to take the interaction further.
Now, before you think I’m being too much of a Debbie Downer, here’s the good news… nice Thai girls are available to foreigners if you know where to look.
Thai Girls That Like Foreigners
If you want to date and have sex with regular Thai girls, then you’re going to need to come to Thailand for more than just a short holiday.
Thai women are both feminine and traditional. This means they expect you to stick around for more than just a week of fun and debauchery.
As previously mentioned, Thai girls want more than just sex and casual dating, they look at relationships with a view to marriage (and an enhancement of their current social status).
The type of Thai women that find Western men attractive are as follows:
1) Thai girls who have an interest in Western culture and the English language.
Surprisingly enough, it’s a small percentage of girls who are interested in the West (compared to other countries), but they do exist.
These girls have usually travelled or studied overseas at some point. They are familiar with Western movies, music, culture, and… men.
This exposure to the West has opened their mind and allowed them to look beyond the traditional Thai way of dating.
If you meet one of these Thai girls, they will show interest in you and be receptive to dating you.
They will be happy to practice their English with you (which will grow old fast after you've played this game a couple of times).
2) The second group of Thai girls that are interested in dating foreign men are girls who are turned off and uninterested In Thai men.
Thailand is the country with the highest rate of infidelity in the world (source: Statista).
This might sound strange for a country that is conservative by nature, but when it comes to being faithful, Thai men are notorious philanderers.
Many Thai men will acquire a mistress (a mia noi) if given the chance. This is so engrained in Thai culture that Thai women often expect a Thai man to cheat at some point in time.
Despite the fact that Thailand is conservative by nature, when it comes to dropping panties, it turns out they aren’t so conservative after all.
I would argue that Thais are more conservative when it comes to maintaining face and social status, which inhibits dating and the ability to meet Thai women.
Because Thai men are known to cheat so frequently, there is a significant group of Thai women (burnt by Thai men) who prefer to date Western men.
These Thai girls believe that Western men are more decent and honest than Thai men (this is usually true for newly arrived foreigners, but not for anyone who's been in Thailand for a decent amount of time).
Thai girls who have been cheated on by a Thai man often turn against Thai society and develop a preference for foreign men.
If you ever watch Thai TV you’ll notice that most TV shows revolve around a man cheating on his “good” wife with an “evil” mistress.
Cheating, mate guarding, and jealousy is such a large part of Thai culture and the entertainment industry that it invariobly spills over and influences Thai society at large.
This newly acquired preference for foreign men is usually more prevalent in cities like Bangkok and Chiang Mai where the girls have greater exposure to foreign men.
These two groups of women: “girls who are into Western culture” and “girls who have been burnt by Thai men” are the most common type of girls who are looking to date foreign men.
What Thai Women Find Attractive
It must be said at this point that the majority of Thai girls are into Thai culture and Thai men.
The is partly due to the way Thai people are raised. Thailand is a fairly closed society, despite the presence of foreigners and huge number of tourists who pass through Thailand.
Thai people are indoctrinated from the moment they enter school into the ways of Thainess. This puts the focus on Thai language and Thailand. The focus is not on learning English and international relations.
Furthermore, Thailand is a country with its own entertainment industry. Quality notwithstanding, Thais produce their own music, TV shows and movies.
They have their own models, superstars, filmstars, actors, and musicians.
Instead of importing their ideal aesthetic of beauty from the West (like Japan does), Thais have their own aesthetic ideal and it’s rooted in Thai culture.
What Western women find attractive, is different to what Thai girls find attractive.
In the West, men are rewarded for projecting masculinity. If you’re muscular, assertive, dominant, confident and look masculine, Western women are more likely to find you attractive.
In Thailand, a muscular man who is dominant, overly confident, and masculine is likely to scare your average Thai girl away. Being too direct and assertive will terrify a conservative Thai girl.
A Thai girls version of a perfect man goes something like this: a soft-spoken, gentle, studious, feminine featured man who is thin and fair-skinned.
These guys would get crucified in the West, but not in Thailand.
Foreign men aren’t the “ideal” that Thai women have been raised to find attractive, so it’s naive to think that when you arrive in Thailand, Thai women will flock to you and be all over you (unless you go to certain areas).
Dating Thai Girls
So now you know what Thai girls are like, how do you start dating Thai girls?
First, you'll need to download the Line app on your phone. Similar, to WhatsApp (but with more privacy), Line is the app that all Thais use to communicate with each other.
No Line, no fun. Next, logistics...
Thailand is a hot and humid country. Because of this, Thais frequently like to spend their time inside. In general, Thais are not physical people who like to spend their time outdoors (unlike the West).
As a result, if you date a Thai girl you will be spending the majority of your time inside, doing indoor activities.
Most of your time will be spent dating girls in Malls (like Paragon, Central World, Em Quartier and Emporium). The malls are nice and setup more for social interactions than malls in the West.
Thai malls include cinemas, shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Thais girls love going to the cinema and visiting restaurants and coffee shops. These venues are all great places to date Thai women.
Also, it’s useful to note that Thai women love Thai food. And why wouldn’t they? They are raised on somtam and tom yum kung. Thai food is delicious and spicy and cheap. Much cheaper than Western food.
If you’re dating a Thai girl, don’t make the mistake of thinking that she would prefer to dine on expensive French food or Western cuisine.
If you want to take a Thai girl out on a date that she’ll enjoy, take her to a Thai restaurant.
It’s a no brainer that Thai girls enjoy Thai food (much more than Western food) and your date will be happier to eat a bowl of rice than a plate of chips.
The Do’s of Dating Thai Girls
1) Thailand is a superficial society with a rich culture. In Thailand, appearances are everything. Dress to impress and you’ll get higher quality women. If you wear a nice suit and you’re prepared to sweat like a pig, you will get instant respect from Thai men and women.
How often do you see Thai men wearing shorts? You don’t, even though it’s hot as hell. I personally wouldn’t bother to wear a suit and prefer to wear clothes I find comfortable. But if you really want to make an impression and get more women and interest from Thai girls, wearing a suit (or at least a button down shirt) is the easiest way to transform your success.
2) If you speak Thai you will be able to communicate better with Thai women. This doesn't mean that Thai society and Thai girls will accept you as one of their own. They won’t no matter what you do. You will always be a foreigner "farang" in Thailand. Accept it and don’t even try to fight against it.
3) Expect to pay for dates and dinners. Thailand is a traditional culture and Thai women expect men to pay for them when they're out on dates. In return, a Thai girl will/should take care of the feminine side of the relationship (cooking, cleaning, love, and affection).
4) Use superficial, slapstick humor. Your ability to converse with Thai girls will be limited if you don’t have a good grasp of Thai. Jokes and amusing anecdotes will often be lost in translation.
Thai people are generally fun and like to enjoy life (sanuk "having fun" being an integral part of Thai culture). When words fail you, slapstick humor and non-verbal communication works wonders with Thai women.
5) Take the lead when dating Thai girls. Don’t be too pushy, but don't forget it's your job to lead her to the bedroom and push for intimacy. As a man, you’re expected to take the lead.
The Don’ts of Dating Thai Girls
1) Don’t be assertive, borderline aggressive around Thai women. In other words, don’t get mad, shout, cause a scene.
In the West, you will be rewarded for standing your ground and not putting up with any BS, Thailand is a different story.
Face is a big deal in Thailand. You must try to maintain face (for yourself, your date, and other people). This generally means being polite, respectable and not acting in a loud or offensive manner.
If you break this rule, a Thai girl will get upset and it’s unlikely you will ever see her again. If you’re going to cause a scene, do it behind closed doors.
2) Don’t worry if you catch a Thai girl in a lie. Yes, that sounds crazy doesn’t it? But it’s all about saving face. Thai people lie to save face and protect you and protect themselves from embarrassment.
Expect it to happen and don’t get upset or be surprised when it does happen. And for God’s sake, don’t feel the need to call a girl out on her lie. It’s just the way their culture operates (for better or worse). White lies are the norm.
3) Don’t be too flirtatious and hands on when dating a Thai girl. Public displays of affection are not appreciated in Thailand. It’s okay to hold a girls hand, but you won’t see Thai couples kissing in public.
4) Thai girls flake and cancel dates just like Western girls. Don’t be surprised when it happens and don’t lose your cool. Accept that dating in Thailand works differently to the West, and just roll with it….
Losing your cool is a big “no no” and it will only cause more problems. It’s better to handle situations with a smile and a mai pen rai (no problem) attitude.
5) Don’t try to turn a bargirl/freelancer into a girlfriend. Sometimes you will meet a girl in a bar or club, take her home and discover that she wants money (about the sum of a plane ticket) for a taxi home. She’s a prostitute, but she’s not a prostitute. Confused?
This girl also has a legitimate office job too. Frequently, Thai girls blur the line between being legitimate and working as a prostitute––these girls are known as freelancers.
Bottom line: if she asks for money, she’s not relationship material.
6) If you’re dating a Thai girl, don’t give her money or support her lifestyle (even if it’s for her parents or her "parent's sick buffalo").
Sin sod (money gifted to a Thai girl’s parents during marriage) is something that a Thai girl’s family often expects. The girl will tell you that it’s Thai culture to pay this money.
I disagree. I prefer to tell a girl that in Western culture, the father of the bride pays for the wedding. Watch her struggle as she tries to wrap her head around that one.
7) Don’t use condoms…. I’m joking, well, sort of (more on that later).
Sex With Thai Girls
When it comes to the bedroom, Thai girls are not shy about dropping panties. This applies to all types of Thai girls. They are not hung up on sex, yet, at the same time, Thai girls are not particularly sexual in nature.
Thai girls can be pretty and they can be beautiful, but I wouldn’t go so far as to call them sexy or sexual. Not in the same way that a curvaceous, big breasted Colombian girl is sexy.
When you have sex with a Thai girl, don’t expect her to work it like a porn star, pulling off moves from the Karma Sutra.
Thai conservatism extends to the bedroom. When you get a Thai girl into bed, expect her to be demure, submissive and appear inexperienced. Thai men like virginal women, so this is the role she will play.
Don’t expect a Thai girl to be pulling off any advanced sexual moves or surprising you in the bedroom if she’s a regular middle-class Thai girl.
If she’s one of the more uninhibited Thai girls from outside of Bangkok, then she will most likely be more adventurous in bed (the same applies to bargirls and massage girls).
One interesting thing to note is that Thai girl’s will often kick up a stink when you try to wear protection or pull out a condom. Safe sex is definitely not a priority in Thailand.
Many Thai girls will get offended—yes, you heard that right—if you pull out a condom. According to Thai logic, when a man wears protection it means he has other sexual partners.
I’ve heard stories of condoms being ripped off by Thai girls during sex, and girls falling into a sour mood when a man pulls out a condom. It’s a strange quirk of the culture, but it does happen.
Final Thoughts on Thailand
I lived in Thailand for a couple of years. I still have friends who live in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and I have dealt with numerous guys who are dating Thai girls.
I’m conflicted when I think about Thailand. It’s a great place to live. It’s easy. It’s relaxed. People don’t stick their nose into your business. The food is great and their is a sense of freedom that comes with living in Thailand.
If you’ve got a bit of money, you can have a great life in Thailand. If you don’t have money (like anywhere), you can get in trouble very quickly.
I always think if you’re going to make it in Thailand, on both the women and well-being front, you do need self-control and discipline.
This feeds into two dark statistics: (1) Thailand has the highest rate of foreigner suicides in the world: and (2) the large amount of homeless Westerners stuck in Thailand.
If you're in the right place, physically and mentally, this won't affect you. Having said that, three things that bothered me about Thailand were (1) the oppressive heat, (2) the nasty, congested traffic; and (3) the awful pollution.
If you stay in Thailand long enough, you will eventually get jaded and fed up with the visa situation, Thai bureaucracy, and the Thai way of doing things can raise frustration levels.
Again, you’ve got to roll with it… it’s Thailand. You take the good with the bad. And there is a lot of good.
The people, by and large, are lovely. They are kind hearted, fun, easy-going and don’t take life too seriously. Thailand is a safe place and you don’t need to worry about running into trouble (if you don't go looking for trouble).
Generally, anyone who has trouble in Thailand goes looking for it. They make stupid, irrational decisions. Lose their temper. Or they try to get too involved in Thai life, politics and culture (for fks sake, it’s none of your business, don’t get involved—if you value your life and peace of mind).
When it comes to the women, like all places, there are good people and bad people. Use common sense when dating Thai girls. See a gold digger for what she is: an emotionally dead woman who is just after your money.
You’re not special and you’re not an exception. If you're stupid and lack common sense, you will lose more than your shirt.
Having spoken to lots of guys who have lived in Thailand, they will often wax lyrical about the good old days before social media and Facebook came along.
Before social media, Thai girls used to be much more open, curious and interested in foreigners.
Now, most girls have their head stuck in their phones 24/7. Narcissim runs rife among Thai women, with girls taking dozens of selfies a day.
Thailand is the country with the highest Facebook usage per capita. You would be hard pressed to find a Thai without a Facebook or Instagram account.
This fits with current research that found that in less developed countries where there is greater disparity between men and women, girls are more likely to use social media to raise their value and level of prestige.
One troubling aspect of Thailand, which I couldn’t help notice, was a certain level of Farang (foreigner) Fatigue.
Thais have been exposed to foreigners for so long now (with a constant stream of tourists since the Vietnam war). Bangkok now has the largest amount of tourists passing through every year at a staggering 20 million.
Thais are no longer curious or all that interested in the presence of foreigners (unlike Japan and other countries with lower levels of resident foreigners and tourists).
Unfortunately, many of the foreigners who came to Thailand were not the best variety. A flood of sexpats and whoremongers have, over time, sullied the white man’s name.
Foreign men don’t have the best reputation in Thailand. And it doesn’t matter who you are, or if you have the best intentions––Thai women will still tar you with the same brush.
The downside of this phenomenon means that many Thai girls (who would be interested in dating foreign men) don’t because they are worried what other Thais will think.
If a Thai girl is seen with a foreign guy will her family and friends think she’s working as a prostitute? Maybe. Possibly.
This thought can often be enough to scupper a Thai/foreign relationship before it's even has a chance to get started.
Some Thai women are absolutely gorgeous and sweet in disposition. These girls do exist. Having said that, if you want to find a decent Thai girl, you will probably need to spend some time in the country.
If you’re just looking for sex with a Thai girl, there are plenty of girls who will cater to your needs on that front.
For easy sex, freelancers and bargirls are your best bet. The easiest way to meet girls for sex online is to use Smooci (where girls will actually come to your hotel room). For dating and love, it's better to move to Thailand so you can meet better quality women and filter out the bad apples.
If you need an urgent response to fix your situation, please don't hesitate to book an email or phone consultation with me and I'll get back to you ASAP.
Best, Chris

Snapshots - Fake Monk Routine
Looking through the routine and places that fake monk go in a day. The meditation pod is the only place in their day that they could stay with themselves and detach from society. As they have to hide to eat and sleep everyday, the pod provide is a comfort zone, therefore is strictly set that they could attend only once a day for meditation only.
The pod are located on asoke high traffic street, where there are nearby school and office building which will give effective processing of offerings. Nearby temples which bend in between fake monk and real monk. Three transportation including car or bus, sky train, and boat. They would prefer to attend mediation in the early morning before school and working hours.
Other time of their day aside from meditating for an hour. They would find a hidden spot or place where less people wander around to avoid curiosity and getting caught from being fake monk. Which is commonly under the bridge, street corner, gap between building, small soi. The place they stayed overnight are usually at transportation station, as it is common that people sleep over waiting for bus or train in the morning.

Short Trip Around Bangkok in One Day on Your Vacation
Or even asked yourself where to go while you are on your vacation? On an ordinary of 10 to 14 days vacation, you might shell out 24 to 36 hours making the trip involving the country and destination country. Then, you accomplish the capital city of your destination country. You seek for your local package tour to get to remote paradise island together with beautiful beaches and crystal clear sea. Else, people travel around the country. After all the good time you have got on the beach and swimming on the shore. You wonder what do I do, or whereabouts I can go to the city in advance of I get onto the plane.
People come back to the city and prepare to go home using sweet memory on this vacation:
That's right. This is the report for you to take a little tour around Bangkok. The site I mention here is for all men and women as well as folks. You can take this trip once you reach Bangkok, or simply one day before you say goodbye to In Thailand at a vacation. But I really recommend you do this one daytime before you leave Thailand, for it is convenient to buy the gift and pack them up. Then, go to the flight terminal the day after. After all, it is not such a good short trips idea to lay down around the swimming pool in the hotel. You're here for decent time to experience the exotic place. You have to explore locally. I assume that most foreign visitors stay in hotels along Sukhumvit and Ratchadapisek roads. That is where the most convenient technique to travel around Bangkok. On Sukhumvit Road, it is undoubtedly a sky train line which takes you to air conditioner shopping malls as well as the famous flea market Jatujak Market (JJ Market). On Ratchadapisek road, there is a subway train going. Both city train lines are intersected around the two points. One point is at the station about Sala-Deang for the sky train and Silom Section for the subway on Silom road. The other issue is at an intersection of Asok Station for air train and Sukhumvit Station for a subway. Often around rush hours, the traffic in Bangkok is very heavy. You can go around this traffic immediately by motorcycle taxies which are easily found on the streets. How can you identify the motorcycle taxi? locations like in front of the gas station or the entrance of the alley. People always wear the sleeveless jacket with the number about the back.
All of the fast parks in a group:
Now, your one day trip around Bangkok starts. The first place to visit in the morning is Wat Para Kaeo (Wat Prasri Rattanasasdaram) and Wat Po. They are located wall to wall. After you have finished visiting one temple, you can walk across the street calling on the other temple. Why is interesting to visit both wats or temples? Wat Pra Kaeo houses one of the most important Juggernaut Image, call the Emerald Buddha Image. The particular temple has been built as the royal chapel. Typically the decoration and architect of the temple reflect benefit craftsmanship of Thais. The other temple, Wat Po, is said to be the first university of Thailand. The local library in the temple contains the knowledge originated in the past. This can include herbal medication, famous traditional Thai massage, and many more. This temple has the most number of pagodas available as one temple. The statuses found around the temple display screen the intertwined culture from China. You may find some other element interesting around the area. Just follow the tourist warning signs. If you consider yourself as Buddhism, you will like being there. Even you are not Buddhism, it is not too bad to learn and appreciate art and culture now there. To get there, it is recommended you take a regular airport taxi, not a motorcycle taxi. The door is open from 8: 00 to 17: 00. So far, should you have spent two to three hours in the morning? It is almost nearby lunchtime. You may take a lunch break, or you could continue right away to another corner of Bangkok. From Wat Po, take the taxi to the next subway station at Hua Lompong. Let's find the token for Jatujak Station and get onto the particular subway train. About twenty minutes, you will be taken up to Jatujak Station and walk a little bit to Train Area (Suan Rod Fai). It is the public park, nonetheless why I am suggesting it. If you happen to come to the following park on Saturday or Sunday, the Jatujak Companies are open. After you have relaxed enough in the park, you need to go shopping for sweet souvenirs. There is a shipping program in the JJ Market. In the Train Park (Suan Rot Fai), you will find the miniature landmarks, such a Silver Pagoda of Bangkok, (Pu-Khao Tong). Another hobby is to ride the bicycles in the park. As well, there is the Butterfly Park nearby. The Butterfly Playground is built with the proper landscape for live the butterflies. In a very big cage, the landscape is built to raise several species of butterflies. If you find that left the swimming pool in the hotel is boring, head to the park.
There is an exhibition hall about the life cycle associated with the insect:
By relaxing in the park plus shopping in the Jatujak Marketing, it is now close to later part of the afternoon. Let's get back to the heart of Bangkok. We're going to the Baiyoke Tower in Pratunam. The wind generator tower is venue complex. It has a hotel, international cafes, and others. The Baiyoke Tower is the tallest setting up. You will enjoy the spectacular view of Bangkok with a top roof. It is also near to shopping malls and the sky practice. If you happen to check in the hotel there, it is really the last place to come back. I wouldn't say the upcoming place is solely for men, but it seems to everyone that it is. It is the place where there are a lot of bars. One can find two famous places for foreign visitors particularly Americans; they are Patpong and Soi Cowboy. Direction to receive there, it is wise I leave the duty towards hotel front desk staff. Both places will be open until 2: 00 o'clock in the morning. I'm hoping you are not getting too drunk that you miss typically the flight in the morning. Enjoy your trip in Thailand and Bangkok. Have a nice trip home.

Phase 3 - Endemichomes
Integrating Non-Urban to Urban
Concerning about how the rise of urbanisation has restricted people’s lifestyle to live in such isolated way, I’m designing a system of space arrangement integrating the non-urban lifestyle to urban lifestyle so that people would have a more choice of choosing their own lifestyle. Arranging in gradients from the most urban (secluded/mono-functional/less nature space) to the most non-urban (collective/multifunctional/connect to nature) space. So that all the spaces in my project would have all shades of grey to support all the various lifestyle of various type of people.
From the study of Wae Rebo and its duality between non-urban and urban from Phase 1 and the experiment on extremisation of Wae Rebo concept in urban context, I have came to a conclusion to combine the two earlier phase and continue with it on my Phase 3
Urban Context
Link to Full Resolution
The place I chose to continue with my contextual study is Bangkok, a very rowded city, This city can be relatable to Kombo, an urban version of my case study, Wae Rebo.
Link to Full Resolution
I studied the Asoke district which is located in the centre of Bangkok, spaces are extremely crowded and full of high rise building, the lifestyle of people living here can be very segregated. People live seclusively, in there own condominium, and has less connectivity towards other neighbour in the city.
Link to Full Resolution
Here I found a free space in the Asoke area which is about 6000 square metres and I decided to place my project right here.
Research
Link to Full Resolution
Here are the compare and contrast between the urban and the non urban way of living. With the 3 main keywords extracted from the case study, collectivity, multifunctional space, and connecting to nature. You can see here that between the urban context and WaeRebo, the lifestyle is extremely different, it’s like on the edge of each side of a rope. So, What I tried to to next is study the gap between these difference, so that I would be able to create a gradient from one to another
Link to Full Resolution
In here I divide all the actions up according to how lifestyle nowadays divide them into rooms. Then, I use the idea of extremisation to stretch the possibility of how far can a very single secluded mono-functional space turns into a very extreme multifunctional collective space.
Design
Link to Full Resolution
I used all the research I've done to design a system of space arrangement. The system would be spread horizontally only, this means there will be no second floor. The system is all about putting all the secluded mono functional space on the rim of the land and it can gradually change to more collective as it gets into the centre, and the centre will be the most collective area, where it can be a free space where people can do anything in it.
Already mentioning about collectiveness and the multifunctional space, the main keyword that has been derived from Phase one is connecting and concerning to nature. The section and the diagram here shows that the use of single stories housing also benefits the land in the area. Since it is single stories, we can still keep the existing trees in site, and wouldn't have to destroy them. Also since, the whole structure is elevated, It is noticeable that the root of the trees and soil in the ground wouldn't have to be damaged as much.
Link to Full Resolution
The path on the outer rim would be covered with roofing, making the resident living in the space feel covered and not as connected to nature much, but as it gets into the centre, the overhead roofing starts to open up and space became more open aired and more connecting to the tree.
Furthermore, the axonometric here has shown clear idea that the distribution of space between my project and the surrounding residential building is quite different, so this raised a question towards me that, would the space have the same function as a tall building? Since the whole point of having high rise building is to accommodate the increase in population.
Link to Full Resolution
So, in order to clarify that my project has achieve that same goal as high rise building and provide lots more choice for residents, I have done a calculation on density of the surrounding building and compare it with my own project
The result was quite satisfying, the number of density(square metre per person) of my design and the existing residential building doesn’t have much differs at all. This can result that the design I have developed is able to accommodate the increase in population in the urban and also provide a style of living from the non-urban.
Extra studies
Link to Full Resolution
Link to Full Resolution
This is an extra document I’ve done to answer some of the questions that may be in people’s mind. The question is that “Who would ever want to sleep, shower, or go to toilet with other people?” Of course these 3 actions can be seen as a private thing to do, that no one would ever want to do it with others, that it would be uncomfortable for anyone to reveal their personal space with others.
The result of the survey shows that of course, there will be more people leaning towards uncomfortable with the sleeping and taking shower with others, however, it also shown in the survey that there are people who is very comfortable with doing those actions with other. Some people may be uncomfortable with working in public space for instance. Not all people are comfortable in the same way. So, here I wanted to clarify that we can’t stereotype people into just one category.
Link to Full Resolution
So here, I have envisioned 4 type of people and how they can live in the space I provided. The introverts are able to stay in their own corner, while some others can stay in-between seclusive and collective, or some can go fully collective. The amount of space acquired by different type will be different as well.
This idea of gradient space arrangement also let the introvert to be able to explore collectivity in a subtle way. The result is that my project allows all type of personality to be able to fit in one place.
Link to Full Resolution
This is also an extra document I have done. This is a graph of my own experience toward the collective space. As you can see the graph is not a linear line, it is rather fluctuated. This shows that during the process of experiencing in the collective space, there will be many factors that affect your mood. And since it is fluctuated in not black and white way but rather different shades of grey, this would be a great argument that my space allows people to go back and forth between being collective and seclusive because it provides all the different shades of grey.
Atmosphere
Link to Full Resolution
Here is the section cut of the whole project, and the atmosphere of the different stage of spaces. As you can see, the first one is very seclusive, has less natural lighting and no connection towards nature at all but as gradually change to the centre area, the room became more open, the space became bigger and it can accommodate more people.
Flexible Project
Link to Full Resolution
To conclude my overall project, I have designed a system of space arrangement, not a fixed one building. In this case, the asoke district, is just an example space where my project can be located. This design is very flexible, it can be adapted to any shape and size of free space available in urban area.
Here I have an example of how the design can be integrated to another plot of land.
