Bethany Bracken, prior to her execution
"I found her in such lamentation and heaviness as I never saw no creature, so that it would have pitied any man's heart to have looked upon her."
i hath returned from my faraway travels, to post once more...
anyways yeah drew bethany in a slightly diff style than usual! even if shes an awoiaf footnote i am obsessed with her partially bc she is so obviously inspired by catherine howard (my forever fave of henry viii's wives). so yes hope u all enjoy my cornplate fanart. also justice for bracken women!

A Song of Ice and Fashion- the Arryns pt 1.
I was heavily inspired by the tudors, heavy velvets and the large bird like wings. The Eyrie gets very cold so I gave them heavy fabrics, more coverage, and more layers.

Shireen Baratheon, Queen of the Stormlands
The first look is based on Burgundian dress because it’s an underrated look and the second look (as well as the first pic’s hairstyle) is based on @15-lizards’s post on Stormland fashion

“At the opening feast, the queen wore a green gown, whilst Princess Rhaenyra dressed dramatically in Targaryen red and black. Note was taken, and thereafter it became the custom to refer to “greens” and “blacks” when talking of the queen's party and the party of the princess, respectively.”
the dresses that started it all. had lots of fun drawing these!! more to come👀

ASOIAF - THE KNIGHT AND HIS LADY
Although I should call it "the lord and his lady", since in the north the northerner tend to ignore the knighthoods. It isn't so important for them.
I really like the historical picture, how she is handing him the letter and then the beautiful horse. I just wanted to draw my two ASOIAF/GOT Ocs like this. A few years ago I drew Faramir and Eowyn as a historical art, and i wanted to recreate a similar picture. I hope I succeeded. You can see Winterfell in the background so everyone knows it's the north. If I had painted Grawan's Castle, no one would recognize it.

my fave germ is bad at numbers thing is that he gives most westerosi men crazy heights (and keeps one upping himself) in order to paint them as fierce and strong and impressive…
In my mind’s eye, people in asoiaf are just taller than we ever were, and so everything is scaled up to match their height……… tall castles with tall gates and tall horses and tall everything
