its weird and gross to be real with you usually i had to try to bum some from dirk but we figured out pretty quick that because of our whole situation that shit like that wasnt doing any good for either of us

there was one time where john offered but that wasnt a great idea all things considering

i don't really need it super often so me and this guy karkat have a system worked out but mostly i try not to think about it too hard

i miss eating normal food so much you have no idea what I wouldnt give for food to taste normal and be filling again

shes weirdly nice about things

like yeah june can be a little shit with her fucking pranks shes somehow pulling at the slip of dawns asscrack (i will never forgive her for that time with the random milk cartons hidden the smell was so bad) but shes chill

shes kinda a pushover but when it comes down to it she doesnt take shit laying down

shes weird about shit like baked goods which is a travesty because he dad sends her home with a bunch but that does mean i get to eat it so maybe that isnt a bad thing actually

also she likes to be the little spoon which is always a plus its like having a personal heater

Danny do John’s ghostbuster references get old?

I don't think the ghostbusters movie is real, John might just be messing with me. We all KNOW ghosts are real, so being a ghost hunter is a real job, but so much of what he says about it makes no sense??? why is the stay puft marshmallow guy there??? And he said something once about a baby being involved somehow???

I really think it's fake but it seems real to him, and he gets so excited talking about it before remembering it doesn't exist here so sometimes I just let him rant away about it. It's nice to see him happy.

John said he's going to find a way for us to watch it together someday, like a movie date!

Pretty confused!!! I, uh, wasn't really expecting to walk back out of the portal, and then he was just there with me! Not really sure how it works yet... I love like having him around though!! :D

I have not meet any of them beside Danny in person. But I heard stories about them from the -cough Cutie cough- All I can remember at the moment is that they don't like him very much but don't know that he is the ghost they are actively trying to hunt down... But they like him when he is human. which is very weird as it is.. I just don't understand. :B

Other then the usual group of spooks who cant keep their noses where they belong, and the guys in white, and certain ghost hunters, and school and homework i cant ever seem to get done and my friends and protecting amity and king duties and hanging out with John-

not much!

i think it has something to do with genetics im not really sure

dirk explained it to me but it was a bit ago so whos to say if the shit im about to tell you is 100% accurate so if it isnt blame him

it has to do with genetics and how things present?? i think of it in sorta the same vein as when people start going grey early some people just have it naturally, but other people only start when things get super stressful or they get old

which means somewhere down the strider line someone got freaky with someone nonhuman and gave us some sort of genetic potential that only activates when youre for real about to die/are on the brink of dying

tbh i think its all crack science guessing at best cause there isnt shit all for research on it

not getting into it because you didnt ask for specifics but i know there is a hole in the desert somewhere that we both crawled our asses out of

Dave is shit at explaining, but he isn't far off from the truth. I'm not a genetics guy, I'm more about the hard science and mechanics, but as far as I can speculate this is about how it worked. Gene activation is fucky, to be put lightly, so our individual physical expressions of such possibilities presented differently, but we are similar enough to have been mistaken for the same thing historically.

(I do think Dave is jealous of the fact that I got horns that I can hide with some magic bullshit, which is an entirely different conversation. He can't do that with his teeth and keeps filing them down, but we did discover that his teeth regrow like a sharks. We have no idea how the fuck it works.)

Hey Danny here!! Not sure who Dave is, but John talks about him alot. I think when I'm Phantom I look like him or something. I'm don't wear shades around John when I'm like that because he gets upset :(

John is the better cook out of the two of us because for some reason he's against the idea of eating sentient food, and I can't make anything more complicated then a bowl of cereal or mac n cheese. Plus everything I make is sorta radioactive because of ecto contamination.
