14. What do you like drawing the most?

uhhh god! Lately I don’t think it’s any specific thing so much as it’s just noodling in my sketchbook. I haven’t had much chance to do any more involved illustrations outside of a few commissions so just having that space to myself is nice.

lately I’ve been reading a lot of manga! I picked up a copy of Blame! after not reading it since I was a teenager. It’s cool to see how Nihei’s improved and focused since his older work. Fewer lines but they communicate so much and his sense of space has only gotten better

I’ve also been reading Gundam The Origin which ruuuules! I do wish more of Yoshikazu Yushiko’s work was translated. His action’s really tight, his expressions are fun and he has such a great grasp on negative space
