ooc || Usually I’ll find an interesting song or my boyfriend will watch a movie with me that’ll make me think about Aku in a certain situation. I may also read something somewhere or experience an inconvenience irl which will make me think abt Aku dealing with a situation. It’s really a combination of various factors ahaha.

More often than not lately, though, I’m pulling headcanons from Discord convos. Like, people will ask me stuff on Discord and I’ll pull stuff / explanations on the fly. Usually it’s stuff I’ve considered but not really articulated, and when it makes its way to Tumblr it’s in a more refined form compared to how I put it initially in Discord.

For instance, this particular headcanon that discusses what Aku finds attractive was refined from a Discord convo w Kitty ( aka @nightmaresindreamland ) and also convos with @somniaxperdita. This revelation came about ‘cause Liv had asked Aku via. Discord why he’d want to be with her if he found her unexciting, to which he simply responded ‘because I know you, you’re willing, I’m bored and lonely’. And with Nightmare… it came out that Aku honestly finds him attractive, which is a first for all of Kitty’s ships w nm. Kinda funny if you ask me, considering Aku called him ugly only to be an asshole when they first met, when literally his first instinct when they met was to flirt with him. 😂

And I never really owned anything back when I would’ve been a kid age-wise. Not that I didn’t mess around with other people’s stuff.” Gremlin’s grin became more somber. “I... don’t have any of it now. Everything I had left of Earth is gone. Just me and my memories.”
