I really love your art style! ♥️ Do you have any recommendations for tutorials on learning to draw digitally? I know I could just look at little micro tutorials but I’m autistic so I need really specific instructions step by step to get started

Hey thanks! Honestly I am not good at digital art as much as traditional. Also, this question is pretty vague and you havent reblogged/liked anything of mine so Im not sure which artwork you might be referring to... if you mean pixel art, digital paintings, commissions Ive done, etc

But, I have a HUGE tag full of art resources that are 90% for digital art because I also had a really hard time getting started!

If you want to scroll through my #art ref tag, I have been compiling resources for almost a decade.

Here is a small tutorial Ive been pulling up for years to look at whenever I forget how to digitally paint, that just shows exactly how the artist does layering, shading, etc

Also, Tutor Tuesday is a BUNCH of tutorials that are all about very specific things (hair, faces, animals, lining in general, sketching in general, you name it) , in fully illustrated guides so you can see step-by-step how to do it. This is the best resource I can find for beginning digital art

Also check the users I reblog tutorials from, if the above aren't really what youre looking for. Drawingden, etheringtonbrothers, and art-tutorials-n-references are all good pages to follow if you want to see more guides!

Y'all out here counting your ages? I lost track of time once too many times and now just kinda guesstimate with the nearest history book. Besides, humans had to go through so many calendars to even kind of settle on one, I don't see why we should ascribe to their metrics in the first place.

Very understandable, I remember when I was born, so every once in a while, I'll do some math to figure it out. It's just something that interests me personally, but I get that not everyone is the same.

OH this is a tiny bit more complicated than I let on (people dont usually respond to my tags) but basically, due to being a cult survivor my wife was homeschooled for A Lot of years. They struggle with a lot of stuff most people might consider "basic", one of which is Months And Dates. Because she just... wasnt taught about it as a kid. It took about a year of us living together for her to make any progress with it.

This isnt a good thing, and of course she remembers certain other dates/number combinations. So Im justified in feeling a bit hurt about it, I think. But it is part of like, literal social integration and re-programming she has to do as an adult, and that's something I gotta keep in mind and be patient with.

-I don't really have a favorite mythological creature, but fairies are pretty cool. I don't know if they count.

-Currently i'm on a Noah Kahan kick so I would say "homesick" or "godlight" by noah Kahan. Homesick is a very keefe song i think.

-I would say my favorite book character of all time is a tie between Henry Cheng, or Gansey from The Raven Cycle or Baz Pitch from the carry on trilogy or marella. my queen. This is entirely due to the fact that i've recently reread the raven cycle and carry on. If you ask me again in a month it'll be whichever characters are in the book i'm reading.
