I guess people don't know the Bee Movie is a capitalist propaganda film so I'll explain how.

The movie begins with Barry B Benson joining the workforce and quickly becoming disillusioned. He realizes that the bees aren't ever actually doing anything fun, and are just working all day, every day, until they die.

In order to get out of the hive, he joins what is basically the military. A bunch of filler happens but we're going to skip past that because it's really weird and not necessary for my point. Basically he finds out that humans are selling and consuming bee's honey. The labor of the working class - the bees - is being exploited by the elite - the humans - .

Barry decides that screw that and screw the humans (both literally and metaphorically like what the hell was going on with him and that lady). Basically he goes full communist. The bees should own the honey.

If this was a good movie, this is where the bees would have pulled out the bee-llotine.

But instead, they take the humans to court, and somehow win. Honestly the most unrealistic part of this movie is that the working class would ever win a class lawsuit against the elite.

But the humans can no longer exploit the bees, the bees own one hundred percent of their labor.

And because of this, their seven day work week turns into a one day work week. They can finally relax and enjoy life. If this movie was not capitalist propaganda, this is where it would end. But because Jerry Seinfeld hasn't been part of something good since Seinfeld, everything goes wrong.

The working class bees are no longer required to lift the environment and the economy. And because the human elite are certainly not going to do it themselves, both the environment and the economy dies.

Instead of expecting the human elite to pull their weight, the bees go back to work, saving the environment and the economy, and restoring the natural order. The working class bees are back where they belong, under the boot of the human elite.

Literally the only good part of this entire movie was "Ya like jAzz?"
