Haku laughed softly as he closed a bit of the distance, a brow raised at the collection of flowers. "Had some time in the garden today, I take it?" He asked, a grin of his own finding way to his face. How could he not, when Rui came by like a ray of sunshine?

"Special occasion or something?" Tilting his head, he admired the flowers from a comfortable, respectful distance, his teasing replaced with genuine curiosity. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Sure, he didn't know as much as Towa might, but Subaru had shown him a thing or two about picking flowers as a proper host of a tea ceremony, and their meanings. Putting it all together, Haku somewhat selfishly wondered if it were for him, for the meanings the flowers held and the amplification of those meanings when it came from such a close confidant.
