{☕ - reassuring touch} Ignis' hand grasped the shaking, blonde boy's shoulder. He squeezed gently. His thumb rubbed the other's freckle-dusted skin rather unconsciously - but only for a moment. He needed to tell Prompto in his own way that his first fight went well, and that he is, in fact, still alive.

Prompto’s eyes flick over to Ignis and he jolts in surprise when he realizes who it is. He shouldn’t be this shaken up over a fight against animals, he’s been training to fight against humans for crying out loud! Still, knowing that he’s part of the reason the animals are lying still on the floor is more unsettling than he cares to admit.

He swallows thickly before sending a forced smile to Ignis. “What’s up? Did you get hurt or something?” Prompto questions even though he’s well aware he was the one almost getting hit. Did Ignis even stay still long enough for the animals to focus on him? Probably not.

☀ What’s your rp pet peeve?

I have a few… One of them is kinda difficult to explain, so I’ll just stick with the other two - I don’t like it when people don’t give me anything to go off of, and I’m kind of clawing at scraps from their replies to advance whatever kind of plot we have. I also don’t like it when people don’t communicate. For example, if I reply to a sentence starter I get from someone, and nothing happens to it after some time, I’m kind of left to wonder. It doesn’t help that there’s no universal signifier of what a like means; to some people it may mean “yeah I like what you wrote, now our time is over,” and to others it could mean “I saw it and I’ll get back to it later.” I try not to let it peeve me too much ‘cause I don’t know everyone’s life, but if you know it’s gonna take you a while to respond, or if you’re just not interested in continuing {our styles don’t match up, you think I’m ugly, whatever}, a quick message saying so is appreciated. I can’t speak for other people, but if I don’t get feedback messages, then I can’t grow as an RPer.

☢ What fads/trends are you so over?

I’m not sure if this stuff blew up in places other than America, but I’m really over vampires and zombies.Unless you’ve got some innovative take on it, or an interesting way of telling a story, I don’t want to hear it. Now that’s not to say I won’t RP stuff dealing with those concepts. I guess I’m kind of tired seeing good, original, ideas get overshadowed by poorly put together crap that’s only making money because it’s got vampires or zombies.

The blonde boy blinked his deep blue eyes owlishly.  True, he was rather shocked by this girl’s sudden appearance and introduction.. especially since Noctis was never one to.. er.. pick up chicks? If that was indeed what this was? He certainly seemed to be blushing enough. When Noctis had originally awoken from his nightmare and ran off, Prompto had to fight his instincts tooth and nail to keep from chasing after him. Gladiolus had advised in the past that it may be best to give him time alone to cool down sometimes. He was debating weather he had allowed enough time for Noct to collect himself that he could now go and find his best friend when he had suddenly arrived with Penelope in tow. Prompto now studied his friend as a small intrigued smile pulled at the corners of his mouth. Soon, though, he realized he had yet to greet this new friend so suddenly set before them. “O-oh… Hey there, nice to meet you! I’m Prompto.” He beamed a sincere smile full of sunshine at Penelope. As Noct suddenly decided to leave them to get acquainted, he had to suppress an amused chuckle as he shot a glance towards Ruby. Turning his attention back to the nervous girl, he smiled and did his best to set her at ease “So, looks like you found our buddy for us~ Thanks for treating him so kindly.. you seem like a really nice person!”

Ruby blinked from her spot on the bed, she’d been watching the interaction with amusement and slight irritation and interest all rolled into one, she really needed some sleep especially if she was going to heal any of these wounds from her recent fight. 

Sitting up with a wince that she did her best to hide she moved to the end of the bed and took Prompto’s hand in hers tugging him gently to her and snuggled into his side, soaking in his comfort before acknowledging the girl. “Hi there.. so you’re the one that brought back our wayward Noct, thank you..I’m Ruby, though everyone calls me Red..sorry for being a bit of a grouch..I’ve been up all night traveling” 

Yawning slightly she smiles her best at the girl, her empath abilities and inner matchmaker coming to light in spite of her exhaustion “So, what do you think about Noct?”

What did your last relationship teach you: Hm... probably to at least have some standards when it comes to a relationship partner, and to have more respect for myself as a person, to not put up with someone who won’t respect me.

Religious or Spiritual: Spiritual, I guess? Though not super hardcore. Idunno

Favorite color: Purple

Average hours of sleep: When school is on, and during the week, probably about 3-4. When I’m on summer break, it’s like 7-9.

Favorite characters: Fuck, this would take up half your dash. Most of the Final Fantasy XV cast, most of the Overwatch cast, Stocking from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, a lot of the Ao no Exorcist cast, Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes, can we please not get started with Fire Emblem or Persona.. it’s probably better than you just ask me if I like a character.

How many blankets do you sleep with: 1, sometimes 2 in the winter.

Dream job: I kinda gave up on it, but I did {I guess I still do} really want to write for video games.

Ruby hated that she had made the situation worse.. seeing Noctis going over to his chocobo for comfort she sighed and let him be, just for a moment.. she didn’t know how to comfort him and she hated it.. reaching out to softly stroke Prompto’s cheek she she whispered,

 “Gonna go inside and lay down.. see if you can talk some sense into Noct for me?” 

Nodding to Ignis she headed past them and into the RV where she could avoid the torrent of painful emotions, guilt from Noctis and depression from herself.. walking over she sat on the bed, moving to cross her legs she closed her eyes and focused a bubble of energy blossoming over her as she meditated.

There’s too many, I can’t pick just one… Gengar, Umbreon, Espurr, Kadabara.. I think that’s it.

I have stuffed.. mascots? I have a few stuffed Gengars, Umbreons, a Monokuma plush, Moogle, meowchi, and various other small video game mascots.

Kind of a PSA {and I guess some shameless self-promotion}

It was sort of mentioned before, but in passing. I have an ask/RP blog for XV that I’m playing around with. It’s @askignis, and I apologize in advance for it not being super-decorated {or even decorated at all aside from the icon}. Life, school, and work has kept me a little busy from being able to update my themes on my blogs, and create something neato.

I also don’t have many RP partners yet, as I am just starting out in the Tumblr RP community, so there aren’t many posts. But if you felt like getting a sassy reply, or just saying “hi,” feel free to drop something in the inbox.
