“What are you doing here?”

His voice was sharp and harsh, something akin to the tone he used to use back when Master X, or his mockery, were still alive. Back when Zero was still fighting. His deep green eyes focused on the girl with a sharpness of a soldier. “The ruins of Neo Arcadia are dangerous and are not for non-authorized personnel.” Non-Authorized Personnel, also known as anyone who wasn’t a Guardian of Neo Arcadia.

The ruins were a reminder of the utopia they once had, the place that they fought for... A mockery of what they actually wanted. A nightmare masquerading as a dream. It was a sorrowful world they lived in now, with the only human civilization they knew now destroyed... Humans were hiding in fear of the world for which they now resided in. A global catastrophe. Could they never return to the days of peace and beauty. It was a time of finite happiness but it was better than this place of absolute hopelessness.

Would he ever be able to return to the days even before all this happened, before his Master had disappeared and been replaced. Days where he would play piano, one of the only few instruments left of the ‘old days’, with X listening happily to the music. Days where he would go to sleep imagining what the next day would bring. Days where he felt alive and was able to patrol the skies with such freedom that he felt not unlike a bird soaring up above the world. Looking for more hope than what already lived. Days where he didn’t have to worry as much about finite energy or a war... They weren’t peaceful days but they were peaceful enough. He was a child back then.

“You should get back to safety. At any moment the ground beneath you could collapse and you could be trapped beneath the rubble. I can’t guarantee your survival or rescue if that happens.”

Eve holds her hand out to Aki as there was a shadow casted over her eyes.She sadly smiled and said "It..was nice meeting you Aki...I'll miss you.."

“A-Are you going somewhere?! Will you be back?!” Oh dear.

Wish woke up in cold sweat, that dream...What a nightmare! At least, he tought it was, he had to go confirm it.

Going to Foxan’s guest room(Where she sometimes stays nights) in more of a sprint than a walk, he peaked in, phew she was there....But was she...

He went up to her, giving her a gentle push.

“Foxan....? are you okay...?” His tone was weak and quiet.

He’s probably on higher ground though, like a desk or a table(HC that if he were to leave Aki, he would head to high ground first to stop himself from getting kicked about)

One of the lessons he’d have to teach Aki later is that things never go as planned.

Like being spotted by one of the friends Suna has over on the living room table instead of being cooped up inside Aki’s head like he was supposed to be. MINI wasn’t even sure how they got separated in the first place!

But he had to think of something. Something fast.

“I uh...I work here?” Well, it wasn’t a lie exactly... “Y-You know...On the small stuff, nothing to uh, get alarmed over.” He’s slowly scooting to the side, he hopes she won't alarm Aki’s father, That’d be more than bad!

He gritted his teeth, it was so early in the morning and he disturbed her for nothing...He felt kinda bad.

“I just had a really bad nightmare and I just...I just wanted to see if it was true or not...” he explained, his tone a mix of sleepy and upset.
